Waching daily Jul 31 2018

I'm using Merry Christmas To All - and this one's not going to be available until

September 5th but I have to show you guys some of this stuff right and

I am going to use the whatever the name of these framelits are

it's color your season bundle so this will go live on August 1st these are called

stitch seasons framelits dies I love these they're only available

until the end of August I'm using basic black crushed curry whisper white some

of that new designer series paper okay so I'm gonna tell you today when I

shared this video someone asked why I cut those Center tabs out to make this

box closed and I had to say well I don't really know the reason I did that is

because I did that previously on my top note box so the box cardstock measures 8

by 5 and believe it or not I can remember the scoring measurements I

don't know how I couldn't tell you what I ate today but I can tell you these

measurements so I'm gonna put it on the 8 inch side I'm going to score it at 1 3

and a half 4 and 1/2 and 7 and then I'm gonna turn it on the portrait side which

is the 5 inch side I'm going to score it at 1 on both sides oh that's right so

the blended season framelits and stamp set is available while supplies last so

maybe not necessarily until the end of August it just depends on how well it

sails I will tell you that these framelits alone are a keeper well

because we don't have that top note thing and we don't have the deco label

like all the framelits that we had that i use to cover the top of a box we don't

have anymore they've all retired so I'm gonna use this quite a bit and I

mentioned in my video earlier today on a You Tube today we're making a box this

size but I am going to make a box in these sizes as well

I just need a little at a time they're gonna be so cute can't

you see this with little teeny tiny box okay so I'm going to and this is made

exactly the same so if you did watch that video earlier today it's made

exactly the same with one exception I am NOT removing these little tabs

somebody's walking upstairs okay now I think that's it

we're just going to assemble this so we're going to add adhesive to the back

of these tabs

just stand and paper piercer

so in my video today I also trim these tabs just a little

I'm not trimming them this time so this box would be really cute for a fall box

as well like a blessing mix box

okay so I'm going to just bring these tabs and in a symbol so I rip that card

stock and then whatever side I think this looks good here so we'll put these

on this side okay there's our box a big shot I get a platform and cutting pads

we'll start with the designer series paper right Sarah the chick Stan is an

item that I sell over on my chicken scratch website it is just simply a

paper piercer Stan so it just keeps the paper piercer on your desk you can find

it at all times okay one more black basic black I should say oh it won't fit

in the box I try to bed earlier so now crushed hurry aren't you proud of

me for using clean cutting pads they're usually so gnarly

I'm actually saving these now for just my videos I want you all to like this

project so here's what we'll do

let's just stamp happy Halloween again you can do it the other way I did do it

earlier but

it's actually easier to just stamp on whisper white and then cut it out and

then now we're going to take the happy and put that there

I'm gonna turn my plate and this time we're using crushed curry well it's a

good thing that I know how to do this now y'all remember way back when I I

didn't know any better and I peeled the thing up and started all over that's the

whole reason you have the stamp aratus right is that you can do it again

without moving anything I still didn't get ink in one spot hmm wonder why isn't

it funny how when you're filming a video things don't go right but when you do it

over on the side it's like it works instantly I still want to get that

little just little why okay so you can see it's gonna fit perfectly

just like that we're going to be using the bat punch to in just a minute and

this does coordinate with the paper so these are upside-down yawn okay so see

there's that see there's all three of them let me hold that up so that you can

see okay it works okay so I'm going to attach this piece of designer series

paper right on top of the basic black and the reason I'm doing that is because

I want to I want it to be a little bit stronger this paper is a thinner

designer series paper it's like our regular paper not that super thick stuff

that we have so it needs a little extra umph when it's a box so I'm just gonna

add it right okay

so I'm going to take the tearing tape and let me show you a way to remember

you can always remember which one's the front side once you add your greeting

but before you add it before you assemble the box you don't really know

which sides the top which sides the front whatever so I just did that little

half circle that way now we'll know this is this is the top of the box so we're

going to add we're going to add it to the bottom piece first okay here we go

what is at the top of the bottom that's the bottom so all I'm gonna do is Center

this hopefully from the left to the right and the top and the bottom if it's

off a little bit it's okay because the box is the same color as that so nobody

will know right so now we're going to add this to the top rut row well

so while I'm removing this back into the tear and tape don't forget that if you

join by tomorrow evening you get to choose the entire color family of ink

pads that is a huge deal 10 free ink pads on top of everything else you get

in your kit which is $125 worth of product of your choice okay so there's

our box and I'll watch how this opens see so you couldn't open it remember

earlier when I was explaining about I didn't I couldn't remember why I took

these little notches out before I think the reason is because now it will open

up flat like that whereas for this one it will only open that's why this little

notchy thing that is helpful it'll only open that far because this

back here will stop it from opening all the way okay so yeah but I actually like

this one better you just can only open it so far so I think you can still get

the basic black and 12 by 12 but I think you have to get it in the like the

entire color family packs so I chose crushed curry ink because of the stars

in the paper but I don't really know if that's crushed curry or daffodil delight

I just assumed that it was crushed curry because it looked like crushed curry but

I'm not sure if not it still matches perfectly right okay so this is going to

go right there and then we've got some little bats here we want to take our

little mini dimensionals and I've got some basic black Baker's twine and I'm

just going to make a double bow with it

yes patty I will absolutely I had the Christmas one on my website

today but I will post this one tomorrow I'm not sure what time it'll be late

because it's downline day and I have calls and training all day but I will

get it posted yes especially because it's also my first isn't my first

Halloween no it's actually not I just never showed my other one because

everything kind of fell apart when Ruru got sick I had a cute a cute Halloween

project that I was going to share y'all with y'all and I cut up for all my swaps

to make for the cruise and you know they're all still sitting over there in

the box ready to work on I couldn't it was like mm-hmm

as I was praying for my dog was like I can live without swaps I can't live

without my dog okay there's that little bat and then we'll add this one over

here okay so we'll add the ribbon with a glue dot there we go or not ribbon what

is this twine add it right there okay so here's

the one we just made and here's the one I made earlier to prepare so the only

difference is is that I think I did a better job of centering the happy and

this one I only stamped once I got it I pulled it off in one attempt whereas

this one I had to do it a couple different times but that always happens

when you're live when you're filming right so yeah opens just like that super

cute here's the Christmas version for those that haven't seen my video yet

today so a hobby demonstrator yes is just someone that just places orders for

themselves that's really how I joined when I joined in October October 30th of

2002 only reason I joined is because I wanted one of everything

in the catalog and I mean everything I fell hook line & sinker the very first

day I saw stamping I still remember that day so vividly and it was at Sandra's

house not too far down the road anyway y'all know I love Stampin you know I

love this stuff quarterly minimum is 300 so there's not

a monthly minimum but there's a quarterly minimum so if you join

whatever month you join as a demonstrator you have until the last

business day of the following quarter in which you join to meet your first

minimum so this is July that's what what quarter are we in this is third quarter

right April May June July August September we're in yeah we're in third

quarter so you have until if you join in July you have until the end of December

to meet your first minimum and anything you order between now and then counts

towards your minimum which is 300 so let's say you didn't order 300 in retail

value buy and everything that you order with the business with the exception of

business supplies counts towards your minimum anything except for business

supplies and business supplies is like catalogs postcards order forms so all

this stuff this is all that all counts towards your minimum but if you didn't

order you go into pending for one month and if you don't make up the difference

then you're just deactivated they don't ask for your kickback they don't call

you we don't hound you you just deactivate it's very simple so I always

say what do you have to lose because you're getting such an incredible deal

in your kit and it's a lot of fun to be a demonstrator because you get to order

before everyone else someone asked about rejoining you can rejoin anytime -

that's the other beauty of it is I have some girls that have that have rejoined

my team like four and five times honest-to-goodness

and I I like I tell everyone I'm not gonna hound you I'm not gonna force you

to do something you want to do I'm a phone call away if you need me but I

will never pressure you to sell or to buy or do anything and if you deactivate

I always just say I understand I wish you luck and take care and stay

in touch start you get it's $99 and you get your choice of a hundred and

twenty-five dollars in product of your choice so anything you want in our

catalog except for the hostess sets so anything you want to purchase up to 125

it's $99 it's free shipping also and in addition to that to the 125 that you get

you also get to choose an entire color family of ink pads that's 10 free ink

pads so that is an incredible deal this framelit is actually going to be

available starting on August 1st it's not in a publication it's an exclusive

bundle they did say that the watercolor pencils which I haven't used yet

those might show up in a later publication but this stamp set and the

Stitch season framelits these framelits it's just a limited time so you guys

have a great evening and I will see you later thank you

Shenzhen Creality3D's New Factory Tour & Moza Mini Mi Gimbal Review - Duration: 14:12.

Hey everyone! A few weeks ago you saw me review the Moza AirCross.

A big professional camera gimbal.

Well, it's pretty cool but a bit too big for me to handle.

So I contacted Moza/Gudson

And they agreed to send me something smaller and easier to handle

the Moza Mini Mi.

Now before I unpack it and show it off

I want to explain a little bit about how I choose equipment.

I choose the gear that's most easy to use.

Part of it is I rather spend time making things than futzing about with settings.

But for things like the gimbal

often I need to be able to just hand it to whomever is at the location and ask them to shoot for me.

So everything I show with needs to be very easy for first timers to use

but still provide good results.

Now let's unpack it.

The case looks really nice.

There is foam inside.

I think it helps protecting the gear during shipping.

Now let's slide it out.

There is a tripod here.

So at the bottom there is a hole.

Let's screw the tripod in and put it on the desk.

The app is called Moza Genie.

You can download kit from Google Store or maybe their official website.

Bluetooth not open, open it first.

Yes, I have to turn on the Bluetooth first.

Make sure your Bluetooth is on.

And now it is finding the Moza device.

Unconnected so you just...

Click it.

Hit it once and now it is connecting.

I am pretty sure I downloaded the lastest version.

If you want update your firmware

On here you can see there is a camera icon in the center.

You just press the camera icon and the power button at the same time.

And then you open your app

And the first thing pops up in the screen will be there is a new fireware, do you want to update?

And then you just update it.

My friend Tanya from Pimoroni is in town.

Pimoroni is a supplier of electronic parts based in the UK

but lots of countries carry their products.

They are really nice people and I'm going to put their link in the description box.

Right now Tanya and I are going to the Creality 3D printer factory.

It is in Longhua, it's about 30 minutes away. Lets give the camera a test drive!

Do I need to explain what is going on here?

Just give us a simple introduction. This is the new factory, isn't it?

Yes

On this side, this is our assembly line for the accessories.

I see, so this is the assembly line for both Ender-3 and CR-10 3D printers?

Yes

And all these girls are in charge of the motors.

Look all girls, no boys doing the production line work.

I think we also have nearly all girls doing our production line, only one man.

This is the Ender-3 power supply.

So on the side they have 150V and 230V

you can just push the button and switch to either side.

So you can use it in any country?

Yes, in any country, depends on your region.

Come closer to shoot me.

So this is the aluminum plate. They put the LCD screen inside the aluminum plate.

They are using their motherboard to test out the LCD panel.

This is the one they are going to put in the Ender-3, and I did a review for that already.

Okay, let's keep moving.

Here they are doing the same thing, using the electric drill to put the screw in the power supply.

You know, I feel like the instruction is incomplete because it didn't tell you what screw to use in some parts.

So I have to watch other YouTuber's video to figure it out.

I think while I was assembling the Ender-3, a lot of screws fall off the ground and I couldn't find them.

This part is for the nozzle. And they put the wheels on the aluminum extrusion.

I think those parts are for X-Axis.

Wow, so many girls doing the assembly work.

This is the fan for the nozzle.

To prevent it from overheating.

And then this is the nozzle part.

Spatula on the ground, those are all just tool kits, they don't have to assemble it.

What do you use those stickers for?

We just temporarily put them here.

All the aluminum. Where do you cut these aluminum?

We ask other factory to cut it for us and then we assemble them here.

I see.

So these aluminum are all pre-cut in the other factory and then ship to here for assembling.

He is tapping (hammering) in the end cap for each axis.

This kind of work requires more strength, that's why we see more guys here.

I am kind of worried they would get distracted.

And he has to put the belt on, stick it in there.

These part is pre-assembled, so when I took it out of the box, it is like that.

No trouble at all.

This is the motherboard that controls the 3D printer.

Are they testing the finished product over there?

Yes, and they put everything together to test if it actually works.

Is this green belt actually moving?

Yes, it is moving.

I thought my eyes deceived me, but the green belt is actually very slowly moving towards the other end.

I thought I was being a lunatic.

Oh, it does move, does it? Tiny, tiny bit at a time.

Yes, tiny tiny bit at a time.

You can also move the camera and shoot from the other angle.

I feel like I am the boss here!

All the tool kits are here. Last time when I unboxed the Ender-3

I threw away all the plastic bags, so I forgot what was on the label

That's why I asked you what was on the plastic bag, but that doesn't sound right either, so I edited that part out.

Yes, and we went through all the plastic bag, trying to find out what was on the label.

It was a small part, but it took us some time to figure out, that's why we didn't reply to you as soon as we could last time.

We deeply apologize for that.

All the boxes for packaging is stacked over here. Last time when I pointed at the box in my review video.

It says that the manufacturer in Longhua district.

A lot of people comment said the company name is mispelled on the box, I took a look, and it is true.

Have they corrected that error?

I am not sure of this batch.

Looks like they correct their company name on these new batch of boxes.

I don't know the other parts, but the company name is right now.

Looks like it.

Very good.

Yes, some people was laughing at us at the comment section.

And now they fixed the English error.

What is in those boxes?

Looks like it is not Ender-3 in the box, it is CR-10.

I haven't reviewed the CR-10 you gave me. (Note at the time of the video I had not, now I have)

Yes, we haven't seen new update of CR-10 review from you.

I am reviewing your CR-10 soon, you will see it in my next update.

I have some ideas and I am going to design some new models to show the CR-10.

I see, sounds good.

Are they putting all the finished products in that room?

Yes, but maybe some they need to swap the plug.

So this is CR-10. Different, yes.

What are they doing in that room?

Those are all tested products, they are going to ship those, so this is like a storage room.

In the end, after they test the machine and go through the process, they put them there.

So on this side it is the CR-10 production line not for Ender-3.

So is that a different machine?

Yes, the first one we saw was Ender-3, this is CR-10.

This is the very popular one.

It has a big printing bed.

There is a beautiful girl over there to test the 3D printers.

Yes.

What are those small rooms for?

They are also for testing the 3D printers.

The assembly work is mainly being done on this floor, right?

Yes.

Because you mentioned in the elevator that the second floor is just a warehouse.

Yes, the second floor is used as a storage room.

So you only work on the second floor and the fourth floor in this building.

Yes

Actually in the other building we put our accessories on the third and fourth floor.

Is it a warehouse for shipping accessories?

Yes, just for accessories.

Like a storage room for shipping a specific part or a specific kit.

I see.

If our customers are buying printer from our official websites or our platforms

we will ship the missing parts or broken parts from there.

We deal with all those issues over there.

I see.

Actually we have space in the building acorss the street.

It is on the third floor.

I think it is for shipping missing or broken parts for customers.

I see, but some work are done by other factories?

For example injection mold or stuff like that.

Yes, for aluminum extrusion, we ask other factories to cut them for us.

And there are some smooth rods over there. I remember I film it in the old assembly place.

I am just curious about everything.

They are cutting the right length for the packaging foam.

Oh, right.

So basically this is just for assembly work, but it is not for all the production.

So it is not for all the manufacturing?

Yes, not for (raw part) manufacturing, just assembly line.

Because they use other factories to help them to do the aluminum cutting.

Yes.

Ok I'm done editing that video

that turned out surprisingly good.

Considering it was Tanya's and the Creality manager's first time handling a gimbal.

I didn't use the app as much as I thought I would

but maybe I will next time.

I'd give the Moza Mini Mi a thumbs up.

It's not for everyone but if you're doing any vlogging you definitely need a gimbal.

And this one seems a good bargain. It's only about $110.

That's it for today, Please subscribe.

Remember if I can do it, anyone can do it! I'll see you all next time.

Das Offene Meer Quick Draw Gun Deck and Nimitz Wallet Review and Comparison - Duration: 5:11.

Welcome to Advanced Wallet Bro.

The channel devoted to reviewing wallets only.

I collect wallets and store them in a safe.

Not money just wallets.

Storing something that's supposed to hold money inside something that's supposed to

hold money.

I call them safe horoweens.

Queen Horoweens.

Ok I'm still working on that joke- I'll have it perfected next time.

Wallets are an investment bro.

As channel followers know- I did a review of a Popov traditional leather wallet last

week, this week is for a flashier but equally well made, more minimalist style wallet.

Well actually 2, I'm giving one away on Instagram soon from artisan wallet maker Das

Offene Meer Leather company.

Per my wallet review rules I have to carry each one for a few weeks to see how well it

holds up to my ass.

Today's review concerns two of their wallets.

The Nimitz and the Gun Deck.

Let's look at the overall dimensions of each.

side by side closed tallness width and weight.

I won't do the open length this time because when it's in your pocket the flap is closed.

But Silent Thunder Ordnance suggested I do the thickness.

Now this is unsqueezed.

It's resting thickness without your business card, etc.

The age old argument in modern wallets in the every day carry youtube scene is minimalist

vs traditional, I mean I don't argue about it- but it seems like a reasonable thing to

argue about on the internet.

Minimalist of course takes up less space and then there's the traditional Bifold like my

Popov.

The Das Offen Meer is a little bit of a hybrid because there is a folding from flap, but

that's as far as it goes.

Let's look closer at the Gun Deck Quick Draw first.

It has a front flap, and you untuck stand there are two main pockets.

Product description says about 10 cards and bills...

I got 11 in the 2 pockets, plus half a dozen of my own business cards I never give out-

and I assume there's room for theoretical money folded over.

If you flip it over there's a back pocket that gives you easy access to your ID for

the liquor store or presenting to a law enforcement officer.

Or you can tuck it away behind it.

That's why it's the quick draw gunlock and not the regular one.

The other wallet is the Nimitz, which is the one of the two I prefer mostly because I'm

a disorganized slob and carry things with me I don't need- more pockets.

Like for example my Social Security Card, to make it much easier for the thieff to steal

my full identity.

Which reminds me I need to leave a slip of paper in there with my routing and account

number when I get a chance.

The Nimitz is similar because it ups the pockets two four, plus on on the outside back, although

it doesn't have that shallower quick access slot.

This wallet holds about the same as the gun deck except you know a few more organizational

areas.

That's 12-15 cards if you're pushing it.

It's made from two pieces of full grain vegetable tanned leather

sourced from Italy.

Construction on both is really solid.

Both are made of two pieces of leather, there are a ton of different color options available.

The wallets don't require the longer break in period like that Popov Wallet.

There's nothing wrong with break in periods- but I've seen people complain about them.

I've carried this one now for about 2 weeks and don't have any real complaints about

construction or fit and finish.

The leather is thick but pliable, and I don't mind the folding top.

It's a little unusual for wallets, and I didn't know what to think but the bulk of

what you have in the wallet itself keeps the flap closed.

Like if you remove it from your pocket the flap doesn't open and everything fall out.

Das Offene Meer Leather makes their stuff here in the US with fine imported Leathers.

Owner Michael Bluth is a active duty sailor in the US who draws from family history and

the possibilities of the open sea to create his fancy yet rugged leather products.

In the video description there's a link to the website.

There's also an exclusive coupon code for a discount, that could expire at any time.

Follow me here by subscribing and setting up alerts so you can be the first poster when

I release a new video- literally the most important thing on the internet.

Follow me on Instagram where I'll give away the Red and Black gun deck wallet… if you

watch this video in 6 months and wonder if your too late for the giveaway- of course

you are.

It was given away in the first week.

Like comment, thanks for watching.

The War In Syria May Be Over. What Now? | Syria 19 - Duration: 8:24.

Hey there.

You probably haven't noticed, but the war In Syria may have ended this month.

Which leaves us with the question...what now?

Thats what we will deal with today.

As with everything about this war, despite what the US media tells us, the US government

gets to decide what happens next.

First off let's cover the extraordinary events of the last few months.

When I started this series in the summer of 2016, Bashar Assad's regime controlled none

of Syria's borders.

He survived because he had an outlet to Russian aid from the sea, and spotty but strong connections

to Iran through Hezbollah and Lebanon.

But even the Lebanese border had numerous rebel pockets to contend with.

His borders with Iraq, Jordan, Turkey and Israel were all controlled by differing mixes

of ISIS and other foreign supported Jihadists.

Over the two years since he slowly scrapped his way back to control over much of the border

with Iraq, and completely cleared out the pockets of resistance on the Lebanese border

and in the suburbs of Syria's major population centers he had always controlled.

Viewers of this series will be very familiar with the situation on the Northern border.

We have talked about Aleppo, the Al Queda haven of Idlib, the US protectorate of Kurdish

led North eastern Syria and the Turkish conquests in Afrin in some detail.

Turkey's border with Syria will likely continue to be a fiasco for years if not decades to

come.

What has changed, and changed dramatically over the past two months is the situation

in the South.

For years the Saudis, Israelis, Jordanians and Americans have been arming the slightly

more moderate Jihadists of the South.

I, along with most commentators expected this situation to last just as long as the predicament

up north, if not longer.

I thought about it as a sort of new Golan heights.

That territory has been occupied by the Israelis since the 1960s.

I assumed that the better marketed moderate Jihadists of the Southern Free Syrian Army

would be able to hold out indefinitely.

The better marketing meant that they were better armed than the rebels up north, and

I assumed that they would have had the complete support of the Israeli air force.

The Israelis have been not at all shy about bombing any moves to the South made by the

regime and their Iranian and Hezbollah allies.

I assumed that the Southern rebels were in it for the long haul, so I never really covered

it much.

Turns out I was completely wrong about that.

I have missed my chance to cover the Southern rebels in detail.

Over the past month or so Southern resistance has almost completely evaporated.

There is still a small rebel buffer up against Israel.

This poses an interesting propaganda problem though, as much of it is controlled by one

of Syria's last ISIS pockets, which is hard for Israel to support openly.

But that's a different video.

This really is an extraordinary development.

It's surprising that we haven't seen another one of those chemical attacks that the US

always attributes to Asaad.

I guess the Southern rebels didn't have the necessary chemicals to put that together.

To the extent that this has been reported in the US it has been in the form of more

Russia is winning scare pieces.

I think it could be much more than that though.

It could be the end of the war.

Assad will probably push into Idlib a bit, but he is constrained by actual US and Turkish

troops on the ground across this Northern region.

Unless Trump goes and starts a war with Iran or something, the issue of the North could

very well be settled politically.

Even if nothing changes Up North though Assad has his borders back.

The regions communication and trade links, destroyed by the US created war on Syria back

in 2011 have finally been put back together.

Incidentally this is great for Jordan, which has been suffering mightily from the loss

of trade with Syria throughout the war.

Business can start again.

What we should be talking about now is reconstruction.

The 250 billion or so that this is supposed to cost desperately needs the West and US

led institutions like the United Nations.

Unfortunately what the US still wants to talk about is Assad.

How can we deal with this monster?

Are we supposed to reward assad for brutalizing his own people?

It should go without saying that I find the hypocrisy of this approach nauseating.

The US destroyed Syria.

The least we can do at this point is help to rebuild it.

As usual the discussion of Syria leaves out the actual interests of the Syrian people

completely.

Half of the population of the country has been displaced, both internally and in other

countries.

Our seemingly principled, but actually quite childish refusal to deal with Assad on this

issue risks creating a decades long problem for Syria and the multiple countries holding

millions of Syrian refugees they desperately want to get rid of.

Many of these Syrians want to go home too.

The evaporation of the Southern rebels has created another humanitarian crisis.

It has also highlighted some legitimate evil that Assad is doing.

Some of the few Syrian refugees who have returned home are being brutalized.

In April of this year The Assad regime's Law No 10 came into effect.

It holds that any refugees property can be seized if they don't return within a year.

ManySunni refugees who have attempted to return have been detained in camps or have simply

disappeared.

It has been reported, and I have little trouble believing that Assad is consciously attempting

to build a new Syria THAT is more firmly controlled by allawites, Christians and other minorities

than was the case in the majority Sunni Syria that existed in 2011.

This would be a disaster.

A vast dispossessed Sunni minority inhabiting every serious country in the region, as well

as many European countries would be an endless source of radicalism and insecurity.

As the economist pointed out recently, we had a similar situation with Palestinian refugees

after the founding of Israel 70 years ago.

I don't need to tell you that the consequences of that have been dire.

And the Sunni Syrian refugee population is as much as 10 times larger than the Palestinian

population that was displaced in 1948.

There is a blindingly obvious solution here.

The US should liberally fund Syrian reconstruction.

But there should be strings attached.

The money should come with stringent oversight, and it should depend on the peaceful welcome

of returned refugees.

No return, no money.

Obviously the US and European NGOs that have been so enthusiastically partnering with Al

Queda in Northern Syria can't do the work on the ground.

Perhaps the Chinese could play a role here?

Morning Huddles - Duration: 4:18.

Let's talk about morning huddles!

Have you ever been a part of a morning huddle where the team just doesn't seem prepared or engaged?

Maybe someone's finishing their breakfast, or fixing their nails,

or checking their phone, and they're barely listening - if at all?

This doesn't benefit your patient flow for the day and certainly doesn't put anyone in the "marketing mindset."

Instead, you need to be in charge of sparking a change in the office, and from there,

it's up to the entire team to be accountable!

Start by making your morning huddles a quick and engaging event, where team members are encouraged to take ownership

in marketing the practice and are rewarded for their participation!

Really, this could be as simple as acknowledging their role in the practice's success and saying 'thank' you by bringing in some cupcakes!

Or, it could be as elaborate as a huge contest with high-end prizes!

so, in ramping up a new marketing culture, each and every team member needs to be invested in practice growth

and marketing is the way to build your practice!

and what this means is that just because you're a hygienist, doesn't mean you get out of marketing!

The really cool part is that, as a team, you get to plan your day and choose your own marketing moments!

... And you don't even have to include marketing topics in every huddle -

but try to choose at least 1-3 days a week where you spend about 5-10 minutes

planning your daily - or weekly - marketing moments!

At the end of the month, all those extra planning minutes only add up to about 20 minutes to an hour -

which is the equivalent of a single staff meeting, or lunch date, making it totally doable, right?

So the key to success is to plan ahead for the huddle -

and while the whole team should be on board with the actual marketing -

whose job is it to plan for these moments?

Well, it could consistently be the dental manager or office administrator,

or it could be a specialized marketing person in the office,

or it could be something you rotate within the team - like assigning a different team member each week,

so you all share in the responsibility

and this will create accountability across the team

and sometimes you'll find that it's the ones you least expect, who come up with the most inspiring and creative ideas!

But no matter how you do it, make sure it works for your practices personality and for all your team members!

Some ideas could be an interesting quote or a stat -

but what you're really going for is overall engagement, so that when you get to the marketing portion, you don't just hear crickets ...

So to help with ideas and planning, we're giving your team tools for success - including a weekly checklist -

so when preparing for the huddle, consult the checklist and then share your weekly,

or monthly goals in the huddle - or you could even fill out the checklist together as a team!

Ask the team for their take on fun ideas for social media or ideas on getting more reviews or even topic ideas for blogging!

Since you all live and work in the area, this makes you an expert on blogging topics for your practice

and the team will feel more ownership if they have a say in brainstorming the ideas

and volunteering for the tasks they're most interested in!

Once you get an idea of what team members want to work on, be sure to assign tasks and then block out time

so each person can actually get it done

... and really these marketing moments could be as short as five minutes -

like asking for a photo or handing a patient a card for review!

At the next meeting, you could check back in to see how it went or

even review at the end of the week to ensure tasks were completed - and see if there were any obstacles ...

And let's get real: we all love bribes! So rewarding or incentivizing your team is a surefire way to get great results!

The key to marketing success is to continually try new things and

to learn from it and then to duplicate the ones that were most successful!
