WE'RE BUILDING A NEW HOME WITH TESLA SOLAR TILES?! - Duration: 6:35.
Hey guys, we have an announcement to make!
What could it be?
Hey guys, welcome back to my channel, for those of you who don't know me, I'm Ashley
Renne and this is my husband Karl.
And the announcement that we're talking about if you haven't already read the title,
is that we're building a home and we are so so so so so super excited about it.
Hey guys I have like a little announcement to make.
It's good.
My husband and I are building a home, we just signed the paperwork.
This lot is SOLD.
The thing about building a home, the reason why we wanted to do this is because we actually
wanted solar tiles.
Yup so basically, I'm pretty sure everybody knows by now, Tesla has solar tiles available,
actually shingles, whatever you want to call it.
And we also were awarded a power wall, a Tesla Power Wall 2 for our referrals, so we figured
why not put it to good use and do a new construction home with Tesla solar tiles if it's available
in our area at the time our roofing begins.
If not, we'll also be looking at Tesla solar panels as well.
This is sort of the integrated future.
You've got an electric car, a power wall, and a solar roof.
And the key is that it needs to be beautiful, affordable, and seamlessly integrated.
If all those things are true, why would you go any other direction?
So I think that's going to be a good investment for us for our new construction home and it's
going to make use of that power wall that we've already received from Tesla a well.
Yea so the building process for a new construction home, it might take up to 10 months you guys
so we're going to be documenting this entire process.
I'm really curious.
Are there any of you guys out there who have solar panels or solar roofs?
Is it something that you're interested in that you want?
Do you think that is something that you're going to want to learn about?
Because we really really want to document the process and we're hoping to help other
people who are interested in getting solar tiles on their houses one day.
We thought it'd be a really cool thing for you guys to watch and kind of follow us on
our journey to get solar tiles.
And also right now, the solar tiles, slash shingles, are very cutting edge, very new,
I even called Soalr City themselves and they said the only people who have it is the CEO
of Tesla Elon Musk and some Tesla employees.
They're slowly rolling it out to the masses and checking on the install and how much it
costs to install and stuff like that.
They do however at the moment, at least from what I was told by Solar City, they have the
new Tesla solar panels or Solar City solar panels or whatever you want to call them.
And not the thick ones too that you always see on people's roofs.
It's actually the sleek ones that Tesla just announced not too long ago.
So Solar City did say that they do have that available, you just need to see if they're
available in your area to install those particular panels.
So all is not lost if you don't get the solar tiles or if it's not ready by the
time you're building your house or whatever the case is, but you can still get the Tesla
solar panels, the thin, sleek looking ones added to your roof as well.
Absolutely so this is going to be really exciting to document.
And again, like I said earlier we really hope that we'll be able to find some really good
information for those of you that are interested in having solar tiles or solar panels on your
house so you'll get to follow our journey and see what that process is like.
Again it's going to take 10 months for us to build this house but we're super excited.
You know his main reason for building a new home was because he wanted the solar tiles,
actually my main reason for wanting to get a home was I just really really wanted to
finally be able to provide a place for my dogs to run around because this will be my
second home, my 1st home that we're living in right now actually, we don't have a backyard,
we just have a patio and the dogs can't run out and play around so I'm really really
looking forward to having our perfect dream house built and customized just for us and
we're going to love it, our dogs are going to love it, our future kids are going to love
it, yep because at some point, probably next year, we're going to start trying to expand
our family so you guys are going to be watching a whole lot of stuff on my channel.
You're going to see my whole life about to change basically.

Starting off at number 10 we have The Basement Phone.
One Reddit user said he used to work in a basement lab with a phone - he had the only
key to get inside.
They would often work there at night, alone but this particular night they were sleeping
alone in their apartment.
Thats when he got the call from his girlfriend at 3 AM, she was in hysterics asking why he
scared her.
He told her he had no idea what she was talking about.
She said she had got a call from that basement phone where he worked about a minute earlier.
It was someone with his exact voice slowly repeating her name, over and over again, until
it crackled and faded out.
At first he thought she must have been lying but then he saw the 3 AM call from the basement
phone on her cell phone.
He said it still freaks him out to this day … and now its gonna freak me out too …
Its getting even more intense now with our number 9 story - The Dog Walk.
This guys story starts with him walking his dog in a park with lots of dew on the grass.
Suddenly, his dog stops, looks across the park and starts growling.
He looks to where the dog is staring and there is another guy with a dog about 100 yards
away, standing next to a large tree.
Hes walking towards him but he doesnt seem to be going anywhere - like a stationary moonwalk.
The guy decides to investigate but as he walks across the park to the man, his dog starts
freaking out even more, sticking to his leg and whining.
He notices that the man is actually walking away, not closer.
He gets to where he originally was, by the large tree and notices a perfect circle on
the ground - about 10 inches of dry, dew free grass.
He looks up and sees the guy isnt ahead of him anymore, he is back on the other side
where he was originally standing - dog by his side.
The man stares at them and then starts to walk towards them.
He freaks out and quickly walked out of the park.
Many of his friends are convinced he saw himself in some sort of parallel universe loop …
Coming in at the number 8 spot we have The Voice.
Reddit user Pistacchio said that when they were a little kid, their family were driving
to a beach when they got lost in an industrial area.
They were following the other car when suddenly they had to take a hard turn round a corner.
At that moment, they all heard a very clear, very loud voice INSIDE THE CAR laugh and say
-Sharp bend, hm?- … the driver slammed on their breaks.
They looked around, none of the voices matched their own.
The rest of the family had also stopped in the car in front.

he was waiting in the car for his Mum to finish shopping when an old man walked towards him.
He stopped about 5ft away and stared at him with a look as if he knew too much.
The man quickly turned around and walked away.
Years later, he was watching a home video of his family at Yellowstone National Park.
In the background, he saw the same old man from his memories.
He was staring right at the camera and out of the TV.
He was too freaked out to watch the video again.
Other Reddit users think this is a glitch in the matrix or perhaps even a time travel
story … At the number 6 spot now we have Red Roses.
This story comes from Reddit user your a moron.
He said that one day he was catching a train and while he was on the platform, a homeless
woman asked him for change so she could buy flowers for her brother in hospital.
He gave her 5 dollars and then his train pulled up.
He gets on and as the train starts moving, he sees the woman on the platform asking others
for money.
15 minutes later he arrives at the station, he gets out, gets on his bus, the bus travels
for 10 minutes and then pulls over for a routine stop.
The doors open and to his complete astonishment, the woman from before gets on to the bus.
She had 12 roses in her hand.
She looked him in the eyes and continued to her seat.
He replayed the event in his head over and over again and could never figure out how
this happened.
At the number 5 spot now we have The Missing Hour.
Reddit user Musical Moses said said that one day he was in the car returning from a trip
with 2 friends.
His parents called to ask when hed be home and said they were about 25 minutes away.
Just after, there was a bend in the road and they saw the full moon and its reflection
in a nearby lake.
Suddenly, everything went dark.
Everything.
There was no light in the car, no headlights in the road, the music on their CD stopped.
A second later it started again but from the beginning of the CD.
The road that was empty ahead of them now had a vehicle pulled over by the police that
wasnt there a second ago.
He thought he must have fallen asleep for a moment but then the driver of the car

He said one day he was got home from dinner and saw his wife was working at the computer
like she normally does at that time.
Except, he had just been for dinner with her and she was entering the house with him.
He thought he was seeing this and maybe he was just tired so he shook it off and went
to bed.
Just before they went to sleep, he told her that he had seen her sitting at the computer
when they came in.
He thought she would think he was mad.
Her face went white witch shock and slowly she said that she too had seen herself sitting
at the computer when they came in but she didnt want to say anything incase he thought
she was crazy.
I hope theyre both crazy because thats pretty creepy …
At the number 3 spot now we have the Dead Uncle.
This reddit user told a story about the day their uncle died.
Their Mum called to tell them the news, they were devastated and talked for hours.
They told one of their co workers who expressed their condolences.
A few weeks later, their sister mentioned their aunt and uncle doing something - they
said, but hes dead.
The sister said no.
They called their Mum who confirmed that the uncle was alive and well.
They spent weeks trying to figure out how their brain could have fabricated such a vivid
event.
Some people leave stories like this are examples of parallel universes colliding - a world
in which the uncle died and one in which he didnt …
Coming in at number 2 now we have The Alley.
Reddit user A Lot Of Italics shared this very creepy story.
They said that one day they were walking to work in their city when suddenly, they had
a strong urge to walk a different a different way.
It changed their life forever.
They went down an alley they had never seen before and almost immediately, it happened.
Their brain got scrambled and went into meltdown.
They felt like they didnt even have a body anymore, they were almost just a semi conscious
entity, floating in another dimension.
Then, the swirling colours and visions turned into a group of businessmen in suits who were
surprised that they could be seen.
One of them made a quick movement and everything turned to black.
When they returned to normality, they were on a different street, the same street they
normally walk to work on.
They felt sick, disturbed and depressed.
They said they have never taken drugs or had hallucinations before and the memory haunts
them to this day … And finally at number 1 we have The Flash.
Reddit user ClassicJenny shared a story about her friends parents, Steve and Julie.
They were woken up at 1AM by a loud THUD noise.
Steve went went down to check on their 3 kids but found them all sound asleep.
He looked around the house and even checked outside but couldnt find anything.
He went back to his room where he found Julie with a shocked look on her face and in total
panic.
She said it was now 4 AM and he had been missing for 3 hours.
She said she had looked everywhere for him, even outside and couldnt find him.
Sure enough, it was 4 AM.
The next day, Steve went to work and after a few hours his eyes started burning.
His eyelids felt like sandpaper.
He was rushed to hospital where doctors treated his eyes for second degree flash burns - thats
about the equivalent of holding a welders torch in front of your eyes for a few minutes.
Some people jump straight to Aliens but others think Steve experienced a jump between parallel
universes in those 3 hours although he will probably never know the truth …
And we may all never know the truth behind these stories.
They could be imaginary, there could be some very reasonable explanation for them but until
we hear them - they are seriously creepy glitches in the matrix.

You Need To Play Cook, Serve, Delicious! 2!! - Duration: 5:49.
Cook Serve Delicious! 2!! is unlike any other restaurant sim out there
and if you've played the first game, you know why.
Instead of waiting tables or managing what oven to buy, it's more like a speed typing
game with reflex memorization combined with a hectic chef simulator.
You know those viral gifs of cooks chopping onions super fast?
You basically get to do that.
And Cook Serve Delicious 2 brings so much more to the cutting board...Oof that was bad.
I wasn't originally going to do a video on this because there's so many awesome
games coming out in the next few weeks, but I realized that the You Need To Play series
is all about shedding light on some underappreciated titles, and CSD2 is such an awesome experience
that I HAD to talk about it.
So let's dive in.
While yes technically you are the owner of your restaurant and have to balance taking
orders, doing chores and maintaining buzz of your establishment, there's a much bigger
focus on the food in Cook Serve Delicious.
The majority of what you'll be doing is creating all kinds of tasty treats for your
customers, and it has some really satisfying sound effects for each button you press.
Your goal is to get every meal correct, but if you mess up one small detail, you'll
get these "meh" faces, or if you screw up completely, it will be a bad order.
The keys you press vary wildly from dish to dish, but you'll go from chopping off a
fish's head to assembling nachos to tenderizing chicken in a matter of seconds, and when you
get in the zone it can be quite mesmerizing.
Of course there's a lot of factors trying to screw you up along the way though, like
cleaning the bathroom, taking out the trash, or setting traps for vermin, and when you
combine it with rush hours where a ton of customers will come in at once, it can get
stressful pretty quickly.
What's really cool is that there's an inherent difficulty setting based on which
items you put on your menu.
If you want to have more expensive food, those items will be more challenging to prepare,
or if you don't mind having less of an income, the day will be a bit less frantic, setting
up this risk vs. reward system where you set the pace that you're most comfortable with.
It also puts you in a false sense of security where just when you think you've got a particular
topping's key memorized, it'll change that key for a different dish, so you always
have to stay on your toes and make sure you're pressing the right buttons.
And if it's an incredibly high stakes situation, like getting robbed, the keys have almost
no correlation to the action you take, making it a more frenzied situation - you gotta keep
your cool under pressure.
But probably the most innovative mechanic that CSD2 added in is the holding stations.
Because some orders take awhile to actually cook before you can serve them, holding stations
can help you prep food ahead of time to quickly disperse them during rush hour periods.
Items in red have to be prepared before you can serve them at all, while yellow ones aren't
required, but it can greatly help if you do, and the green items are side dishes that can
turn a regular order into a delicious one, as well as extend the time a customer will
wait for their food.
This adds so much more strategy to how you handle the workday - you can fill your holding
stations with main courses to help with the anxiety of a lunch rush, or with side items
to get a higher score and more time to breathe.
But everything in holding stations has a shelf life and will expire eventually, so you have
to balance when the best time to prep them is - you definitely don't want all your
hard work to go bad right before a busy period.
It somehow hits right in the middle of being extremely helpful and adding more complexity
to the already chaotic gameplay of Cook Serve Delicious, making it the perfect addition
for this sequel.
On top of this, you can also hire yourself out as a chef for other restaurants, instead
of just building up your own store.
This is a great way to get familiar with new food items and try out different styles to
get those perfect gold medals in every stage.
There are tutorials for each meal, so you could play them before you start in one of
these new restaurants, but I like to live dangerously and go in blind - spoiler alert,
it's a bad idea.
But I will say it's very accomplishing to struggle with a dish for the first few attempts,
but then complete it in mere seconds after a little practice.
Each individual task isn't the challenge, it's the combination of everything coming
at you at once that brings it all together.
By doing these other missions you can unlock decorations to improve your store and even
new food items for your menu.
I didn't expect the restaurant customization feature to be that enticing, but it actually
was quite rewarding to spruce up the place and make it look as presentable as I could
for my loyal patrons.
In other words, there is so much to do in Cook Serve Delicious 2: a TON of new foods
to try out, more options of how to play the game, better rewards and longer lastability,
crazier workdays, and utterly fascinating gameplay.
Like I said earlier, the zone is where this game thrives, and while it may cause a few
heart attacks along the way that make you sound like a crazy person:
2. Clean and the pineapple juice. 4. Pancake pancake pancake. 6. Pancake pancake pancake.
Ah NO! I need to make more oatmeal!
It feels incredible when you finally get that perfect score at the end of the day.
So yes, while it is a wacky concept that could cause some war flashbacks for those that have
worked in the fast food industry, the polish and game feel are top notch and create one
of the most unique and satisfying gaming experiences I've ever had.
If you think you can handle the stress and become the top chef in all of the Teragon
