On this episode, we're gonna talk about my rods reels and tackle.
Hey Folks, thought I'd give you catch up video, because...
I got bad news...
I don't get to go fishin' this weekend.
On some really good news, I get to go watch my son, get to be a dad and go watch my son
play baseball, so that's awesome..., but a little boo-hoo, don't get to go fishing, which
means I have a little bit of a delay in getting How to Find Fishing Spots (2) and wrap that
video up.
This is what I'm taking out with me.
We talked a little bit about all the stuff that I'm throwing and I'll show you a couple
of the things that I've got going.
This is my quote end quote good rod.
This is a Shimano Terramar and it has a (try not to hook myself) with a symetre (I don't
know they have fancy names on stuff, I don't speak ah france') that is a Symetre 3000FL
and then this one, I just picked up.
It's actually my son's rod if you watched the birthday fishing, this was his birthday
rod and it's just a Ugly Stick Lite Pro Combo and it has a Lite reel... what is this...
this is a Shakespear.
Little Shakespear Lite Combo, just has some mono on it
and this rod has more sentimental value in the Monsta House than just about anything
else.
Mrs Monsta's Dad fished this out the river when she was a little kid and she's had this
forever and I needed another rod, so I started using this... and this is just an Eagle Claw
(something written in cursive on it) let's see...
This is a Denco Super III and the reel that was on it just quit, so I put a shimano Sienna
4000 on this, so I'm gonna try to use this for to put some heavier stuff on.
I have 30 pound braid on that.
20 pound braid on the Shimano (terramar) and then I have 15...
I'm sorry I have the mono that came on this thing.. on the lite
Alright, so we talked about the different lures that I'm throwing.
I got the Super Spook in bone white, Super Spook Jr rather.
I got the Mirrodine, so a little suspension twitch and the sinking twitch, this is just
a classic sinking twitch bait.
Those are both Mirrolure and then for soft --- You can tell that I'm shopping at Walmarts, uh
let's see we have these guys, this is four inch soft minnow in Electric Chicken ---- burkawwww
- and then we have the same thing in mullet and then these I've actually been kinda diggin
these a little bit, this is the zoom swimmin super fluke and I like these just because
of the way that I rig this.
I'm rigging these with weedless and I got these screw... corkscrew hooks and so that
fits in really nice with the way that these zoom baits are made, so I've been trying that
out too.
And of course you can't forget the gold spoon.
I have no idea who made this gold spoon, apparently it is gold a spoon.
The last thing I have, and I don't even know I'm using this right guys, so you tell me.
I got this Cajun Thunder thing and then I hooked that up, so I'm trailing, I guess that's
how you do it.
I don't know.
