Efteling introduces: Babies in the Python roller coaster with loops - Duration: 3:11.
The Python roller coaster with loops is almost thirty-seven years old and that means that it was in need of slight renovation.
So that is what we have done, we completely rebuilt the course.
Unfortunately, this meant that the course has been closed to our guests for a few months.
Efteling wouldn't be Efteling if we hadn't added something extra at the time of reopening.
This is a special moment because it has taken us years to find a way
to make it possible for our smallest guests to take a ride in the Python
and today, we can announce that we are the first theme park in the world to have succeeded in doing this...
...we will be allowing babies in the Python roller coaster.
It all started as a bit of a joke
but now, with the new Python roller coaster, we thought wouldn't it be great to be able to give babies their first ride
and it is safe and fun,
and once again, even at such a young age, it makes an everlasting impression.
I think what we are looking forward to most is those wonderful, happy little faces speeding along the roller coaster at 3g-force.
Efteling has very high safety requirements and if you think about it, it's logical that we approached Maxi-Cosi.
Maxi-Cosi was tremendously enthusiastic. They have been manufacturing good, sturdy and safe children's seats for years.
And indeed, they really have produced a beautiful body. Maxi-Cosi's design is entirely in character with Efteling...
...and of course safety. The result is this seat.
When we carried out tests in the Python, we actually did these in the same way crash tests for cars are carried out.
We use a Crash Test Dummy for this. I'll turn it around a bit.
This is the newborn Crash Test Dummy, which has all sorts of measuring sensors in it
which measure, for instance, the tractive force in the child's neck. We have noticed that if we put this dummy
through the Python roller coaster, the forces we measure are actually the same
as those a child encounters while playing.
So as far as safety is concerned, there is nothing to worry about as it's similar to when a child is playing.
It was quite a surprising request, one we hadn't expected.
Therefore, we had to be truly convinced that safety could be guaranteed
and research showed that this was the case, after which it was a definite 'yes' for us.
Yes, it's really cool that the little ones can already go in the Python roller coaster
and that they can experience the true Efteling feeling right from the beginning
I understand that people will say wow, isn't that a bit young and is it suitable for babies?
But ultimately, as a parent you are the one who decides whether it is suitable for your child.
And now, in a time with so much stimuli, so much speed, so many sounds,
I think that it is actually good for children to experience so much stimuli at such an early age.
They would never do something like this if it hadn't been tested well and it really wasn't possible, so we're looking forward to the first ride.

Good morning! It's already day 3 of our motorcycle tour
We have just had breakfast at a rabbit cafe.
Supercute! So that was a good start of the morning.
We have slept quite well last night, which is better than expected.
It was quite... hard though, a mattress would have been nice.
But all in all it was quite alright.

Also not cold! I was scared it would be cold at night as well
It was wonderful.

Yesterday we sat at the campfire for a while, which was very nice.
Just have a bit of a chat
We also found the first Dutchies since we came over here.
We have been on the road for a week and hadn't seen a single Dutch.

And here... suddenly like 5 of them. Bizarre!
But yeah today...
... part 3 of our motor tour. We'll be headed to Fang.
We have booked another hotel.
Or hotel.. You never know what you can expect.

This is one of the scariest things I have ever done.
This route of today was from ...
... Pai to Fang.
We had about 180km planned for today
But...
We thought: This is going to be easy, because 120...
... or 180km...
Yesterday we had a lot of...
... big roads where we could drive 60km/h. Nice and cruising.
It was amazing!
I had expected today to be the same.
But.. ehm...
Once we left Pai, it appeared the road was almost completely off-road.
And I have never done that before.
So, that's quite scary.
I'm so fucking scared.
Just hang in there a little more.
Lisa is not that happy.
But we have ended up in a small village - this is a supermarket by the way

... driven 18kms off-road
We have just found the first pavement.
It's so insanely awesome over here.
This place is about 30 years back in time

We made it! - Good evening
It has been 7:30pm. Again.
Again indeed. - Luckily we have arrived in Fang.
We have arrived!! - It is a miracle.
We thought at multiple times we weren't gonna make it today.
We even thought of alternatives while on the road
What was the thing? We started out all right.
After 5kms the road became unpaved.
I thought it was great!
No it was really awesome, so after a while Lisa could get used to it
We could help each other, so that made it a bit better
I fell down once during our trip.
The motor is brown right now instead of black.
Same as my shoes; used to be black, now they are brown
I'm very happy we made it in the end
We are in Fang right now, so about 130km further
Yeah, I'm very happy we pulled through
And the last 35km were straight roads so we could drive 110km/h.
Very beautiful spots on the way, so with some persuasion I could take some pictures.
So awesome! This was maybe the day with the most beautiful views.
It thought it was prettier than yesterday.
Also small villages and mountain tops...
... so awesome! - Just think you just drove through the jungle.
We drove through the jungle, we dodged some cows...
Lisa saw a snake! And drove over one. Not the same one.
Did drive over it - So I saw two!
It was a special day. Oh, caterpillars! I saw caterpillars.
Oh wow... - Oh and butterflies!
We saw butterflies that do not only fly but also float.
There are so many butterflies over here! So cool!
And also in every color so that's amazing.
Today's theme was actually mud and dirt.
We even drove over very awesome bridges.

We were so far from civilisation that you could only see rice houses and rice paddies.
Just weird, it was very peaceful.
For those familiar with Thailand, we drove though places that did not have a 7-eleven or a gas station.
Like shit is going far - like 10km after each other
You are over an hour away from them
And a gas station - That's saying something.
Adventure goes on! - Yay!
First some food and then we'll finally sleep. Tomorrow is day 4 of our motor trip.
We will go to the Golden Triangle!
We will be sleeping close-by and also close to the border of Laos.
So I'm curious, so far we've been close to Myanmar
and tomorrow will go towards Laos - Sick! Cool.
I'm excited.

Sailing The Dream | #004 | Gibraltar The Rock - Duration: 6:47.
In our previous episode we started our shakedown sail with Ella and after some extra stops
in Vilamoura and Cadiz, we made our way to Gibraltar.
We arrived just in time to witness the infamous Levante winds form on the other side
of the Gibraltar rock and
wreck havoc in the marina.
Getting out of the boats to the dock was a true adventure due to the excessive movement
caused by the winds, making the boats squeeze each other on the space limited med mooring style.
Besides the uncomfortable times, we had inside The Dream with all the rocking and jolting
the situation caused a lot of stress since the boats dangerously came close of crushing
into each other despite everyone's efforts on securing them tightly.
We all watched the protection fenders get squeezed almost to their limit but in the end,
none popped and there were no damages to be reported.
Just as they arrived the Levante winds left, leaving us busy with our program for the month.
Installing several different upgrades to The Dream like a watermaker, a wind vane, etc.
All done of course under the tight supervision of Ella.
These jobs occupied most of our time and the trips to the chandlery were regular but finally,
we had all we planed completed and now we could enjoy the city.
We finished right on time to celebrate Gibraltar National Day.
The day of the celebration was quite interesting, all the boats at the marina "dressed up"
with the Gibraltar and UK flag and everyone wore the city colours, white and red.
We did the same and decided to go check what the party was all about.
[ Celebration MC ] Let's shout loud so our neighbours can ear nice and loudly, ready?
One, two, three... [ people screaming ]
Everywhere we looked people were dressed in the city colours or wearing the UK flag.
Lots of people on the streets and lots fun activities for the locals to have fun with.
So cute, it's really cute.
He won first place right?
We saw people of all ages enjoying the day in a very nice united community, people dressing
with a lot of care and style and others with a lot of fun and creativity.
One thing is sure the Gibraltarians were committed to having a great day.
The day ended with fireworks and we had a great spot to watch it from, the bow of our yacht!
The following day we decided to go for a long walk and visit the Upper Rock to see the famous monkeys.
We took the cable car and enjoyed the views over the bay of Gibraltar while ascending.
The views at the top were breathtaking, the bay, Spain and also the Mediterranean Sea.
As we started making our way down from the top we found the first monkeys enjoying breakfast
and ignoring the humans.
We truly enjoyed our walk, we got a bit lost, found ourselves again, saw a few more monkeys
and the funniest road signs ever.
Our time in Gibraltar was up we were ready for a new adventure.
We were heading to Morocco.

Would be much nicer if the motor wasn't playing up.

The main entrance into this three-floor villa is through the glass door
Going down the stairs, we will enter the relaxation room consisting of hydro massage shower and combined infrared sauna with aromatic cedar wood.
There is a garage with automatic door which leads into the beautifully presented and well taken care of front garden – also with automatic gate as the main entrance.
The ground floor consists of three extra rooms.
Now we are back on the ground floor. You can access the wash room with toilet, bathroom, and three other rooms directly from the main hall.
The kitchen boasts with wooden counters in the shape of L and includes all kitchen appliances.
The main room which is very light and airy is separated by sliding doors in one third of the room and has also a little loggia.
We're now moving to the second floor via self-sufficient stairs where the layout of the rooms is identical to the floor below.
The large loggia situated on this floor links two rooms which get lots of light due to the set of Velux windows.
Behind this villa, you find a terrace which provides enough privacy for barbecues with friends and other special events.
The outer building has enough space for almost any business-related use.
Its sturdy paved surface provides space for parking up to ten personal cars.
This villa can be used throughout the whole year and is in a very good condition. With just a few little cosmetic changes and repairs, it can be ready for its new purpose.
