Hisone to Masotan - Neet Review - Duration: 3:03.

So you just finished watching Hisone to Masotan.

And I know whatcha thinking.

It's just a cute little anime about cute girls getting eaten by dragons.

God I wish that was me.

*Achoo*

What kind of world do we live in where dragons don't exist anymore?

They used to exist in the old days.

Don't give me that look.

What?! You think I'm crazy?

It's a scientific fact that the sun revolves around the earth.

And pluto is a real planet.

Besides.

Do you really think people back then were creative enough to imagine a fire breathing lizard.

These are the same people that drew babies, that look like your dad.

Hello

Hi um do you sell dragons?

You said, did we sell what?

No -_-

I... really want to pet a dragon

I bet they feel really sleek and rigid.

You know what.

I think everyone should have the right to own a dragon.

Not owning a dragon is a human rights violation.

That's it.

I'm going to call my local politician to push for the legalization of dragons.

Then I'm going to start a go fund me to bribe her so she actually does her job.

There is only one existence.

Where I can see myself.

Entering... the dragon.

In my own subconscious.

I have to empty my mind.

Be formless.

Shapeless.

Like water.

I'm going to start doing drugs now.

Look at all these drugs to chase the dragon.

But which one is the most effective to get inside my brain.

I can do acid.

But that takes forever to work.

And it's also illegal.

Actually.

All the good drugs are illegal.

Even panties.

How am I supposed to worship my waifu, if I'm not allowed to smoke her panties.

But there is one drug.

That's legal in most states.

It's an effective hallucinogenic.

That hits you right away, and can last up to 22 minutes.

Saliva.

I don't know why no one thought to boil your own saliva and inhale it. But here goes nothing.

- Hello. Yes. - Navy Museum.

Royal Navy Museum. I knew it!

Bee, I'm gonna divert the cops!

A Decepticon has been seen...

What do you mean, Decepticon?

- Here's where it gets intense. - More intense?

Bee?

Goddamn, they're all around us

and ljust have so much road rage!

Actualize the rage. That's it!

You want some?

Cogman, blast them!

Good boy.

It's a one-way street!

I'm not driving. He's driving.

BIBLE OBJECT LESSON for kids: 4 fun Facts about the Bible - Duration: 9:25.

welcome to wright ideas with Susan where I put up ideas to help you teach

children about Bible about Jesus and Christian values and today's object

lesson is four fun facts about the Bible and it really helps kids get an

understanding of just how important the Bible is today and throughout history

and if you have time to watch all the way through to the end of this clip I'm

gonna share with you how you can weave a personal story into this object lesson

that's quite meaningful all you need for this object lesson is you just need a

mystery bag and you fill the bag with some bibles that you probably have lying

at home and then you also need some plain paper and clip from the first

volume of the what's in the Bible series or you can get it off YouTube as well so

I bring my mystery bag to class and I say to the kids 'hey kids

I brought my mystery bag today does anyone want to come up and take

something out and see what I have in here?' and sure enough all the kids want

to come up to take something out and so I asked different kids one at a time to

come up and start taking the Bible's out of the bag and the kids always have

something to say about it or I have a Bible like that or when I pull out a

children's Bible I've got a children's Bible or and they like to tell me about

their Bibles as I'm telling them about these various Bibles that I have in the

bag and I also have a Bible here of a different language this is the Solomon

Islands Bible as well so we talk a little bit about that and then I also

put in here my iPad and the kids are like 'that's not a Bible' and then of

course some kids are like Mrs wright probably has lots of bibles on there

and that's exactly right so I'm able to show them that I have Bibles on my iPad

I also have Bible apps so this is a Bible as well and then next they get out

a piece of paper or their notebook and we talk about 4 fun facts about

the Bible and the first thing we do is write the word Bible in box letters

this is a really fun thing that kids really like so if you want to know how

to write box letters and learn how to use them I've got a whole playlist that

I put together about box letters so we write Bible in box letters and then I

begin asking them - we've got lots of printers now and copiers and things

where we can print out lots of books and things but what did they do a long long

time ago when they didn't have printers and copiers and so we talk a little

bit about that and then I tell them about the first printing press and when

it was invented and I say guess what was the very first book ever printed on that

printing press? the Bible yes the Bible ever since then did you know that the

Bible is the best-selling book of all time year after year after year more

Bibles are bought and sold in any other book so we write that down and then

another thing I say oh it's also the most translated book what does that mean

and of course the kids tell me what that means it's also the most influential

book what does that mean and so I get the kids to tell me what do they think

that means and we have a little talk about how the Bible influences cultures

over time and so they write that down in their notebooks or their piece of paper

and then I said okay go ahead and you can draw a Bible on on the bottom of the

sheet as well so they enjoy a little time doing that and then after we do

that little activity I bring the back together and we watch first five minutes

of this volume of what's in the Bible and you can find it on a clip in YouTube

you know what it is it's exactly this object lesson Phil Vischer does the same

thing because it takes that different types of Bible so this is exactly where

I got this idea - this is a Bible and this is a Bible that looks like a phone it is

it's my phone but on my phone are two different versions of the Bible

I've got Tetris on my phone the thing I like about this is because I've just

done it with the kids and then they get to see it

so it reinforces the for fun facts about the Bible and I think that it's really

powerful when you're trying to kids to remember something from your lesson

another thing that I like to do is I like to sing a song about the Bible and

you probably know a few but one of my favorite ones is by Colin Buchanan and

it's called the best book to read is the Bible what I've done is I put this

song chart on my website so you can download it there if you like to use

that song now I like to weave a little bit of personal story into this object

lesson and the way I do it is through this little Bible and let me just give

you an idea of how I do it..." kids this Bible is a really special Bible to me I

got it for my kids when they were all little but I've got some special notes here

that I put in the front of this Bible and I've got a picture all of my four

children let me tell you something about my kids none of them were born a

Christian in fact I wasn't born a Christian or a follower of Jesus no one

is born a Christian you have to make your own decision of whether we want God to

be part of our life or not and so what do you think these notes are about?

yes, it's about my children and it's about the time that they decided that they

wanted to be a follower of Jesus. now you see as a parent I couldn't make them become

a Christian and with my four children at different times in their life they each

decided they wanted to be a follower of Jesus and I wrote the date and I read a

little bit about what happened when they decided to put their faith and to

believe in Jesus and ask Jesus to be part of their lives and of course the

kids want me to read a little bit about how it happened so I'm able to tell that

it depending on their interest and it's a really special reminder of when my

children decided to put their faith and trust in Jesus and it made a huge impact

in their life and that's when their journey of faith began but I was want to

tell you something a little bit sad (kids are like what) I said did you know that

in some places in the world these days they are not allowed to have a Bible

they're not allowed to even be caught with the Bible and to learn about Jesus

to learn about God so they don't even have a choice because they know

nothing about God they know nothing about Jesus they don't have a choice but

I do have some good news and the good news is is that your parents they are

allowing you and giving you the freedom to learn about Jesus to learn about the

Bible to learn about the best-selling the most translated and the most

influential book of all time they're letting you and allowing you and

encouraging you to learn about this amazing book so you will have a choice

you will have a choice whether you want to have faith in God and put your faith

in Jesus and have God be part of your life isn't that awesome! then they kids are

like 'yes that's good!' I said we need to thank God we need to thank God for your

parents I say who wants to pray and of course they all want to pray and thank

God for their mom or dad and that they have the chance to be able to learn

about Jesus and it really is a very special time to be able to help kids

understand that you know it is a privilege that they are getting to learn

from this amazing book so that's how I like to conclude the lesson for this now

some of you watching here on my channel you come from countries where it is

dangerous to be meeting as Christians meeting and studying the Bible

you know what this is all about you probably have a really powerful story to

tell your class or some of you go have grown up in families where your parents

did not let you go to church or youth group or anything didn't let you

learn anything and it wasn't until you were an adult that you were able to

actually start reading the Bible and learn about Jesus and God and you know

how it impacted your life and and it would be good very powerful for you to

be able to tell your story. so that that's a way you can weave your story

into this object lesson now if you like this idea be sure and give it a thumbs

up and if you like more lesson ideas to help you in introducing the Bible to

your class I actually have a whole playlist of lots more ideas on this sort

of topic and I did want to and I wanted to say to you subscribers

and people watching keep up the good work

because what you do in teaching kids about the Bible about Jesus about God

you are empowering them you are empowering them you're giving them

freedom to be able to choose whether or not they want to have faith and that's

really powerful so I just want to say keep up the good work and may God bless you as you teach kids...

the Bible has been translated into more than two thousand

different languages and dialects making it the most translated most influential

best-selling book in the history of the world.... I thought Tetris was popular

GEC Hayn' Helper # 47 field test. I carve an axe handle. - Duration: 28:00.

Hello and welcome to vinniesdayoff today we're having a look at this knife

This is the Great Eastern Cutlery hayn' helper or number 47 two blade knife with the orange delrin handle

I'm going to quickly give you my first impressions of this

and we're going to feel tested by carving an axe handle

This knife came with this rather attractive sheath, leather sheath

I've also been tagged with the eight question tag by Mickey Wilson so I'm going to do that

and I'm going to give a shout out to some channels that I think deserve it

Just let me rearrange things first so

So here we have the hayn' helper with a couple of other knives I've bought recently

and I just want to talk about my first impressions when I opened my package

This is the Buck 110 ultimate hunter

with a drop-point blade s30v steel and rosewood handles

with nickel silver bolsters. I should have paid more attention I thought this these were brass

I really love the brass bolsters on the Buck 110's but this is a nice knife

It comes with this rather beautiful sheath

When I took this out of the package I just said wow!

It's a robust, strong and beautifully made knife

The Victorinox Rangergrip 78 I did a review on this

This is a most capable knife, and again when when I took it out of the package

it's a good hand filling knife. I said wow! This ticks all the boxes

with the Hayn' Helper I must admit I felt a little bit disappointed

Just let me give you a rundown of prices as well the Buck 110 is 78 euro, 65 cents without postage

the Ranger grip, 54 euro 63 cents

and the Hayn' Helper, 60 euros and 20 cents, again before postage

I know it doesn't all boil down to pennies and pence

but it does factor and I was just a little disappointed when I got this

Am I being ripped off with the designer product

just in case you think I'm down on gec, I also bought this this is the number 54 GEC Big Jack

with the Red River acrylic handles

and I think it's a stunner it's a beautiful knife

It just feels lovely in the hand, this to me is the perfect pocket knife

Although a little pretty for the likes of me what could you not do with a knife like that?

what the steel is like I'm not sure yet but we're going to find out

So as I said, I'm going to use the Hayn' helper the carve an axe handle

or a large hatchet handle in this case so let's get to work

This is my little hatchet I want to make the handle for it's a one and a quarter pound head

and I find with normal hatchet handles it's a bit short, and they don't give you the power or leverage

that this deserves. It's not a super steel or anything, I don't know who the maker is

all I remember is Made in America was written on it

It's not super hard but it's not super soft and what I like about this little axe, is it cuts very well

every now and again you come across either a knife or a hatchet or an axe

that just cuts well this one cuts well, and I want to give it a good handle

The timber I'm using is a piece of ash, this came from a bow stave that I had in my attic

and it's been seasoning up there for about 12 years

When I had a look at the staves there were some knots and imperfections that wouldn't make it

suitable for a bow so I cut a piece off, and I've sanded it down with my electric sander

and here you can see hopefully I have my basic handle shape

It's going to be fairly straight and we're going to carve this out today

This handle is 21 and a half inches long. I did get a 16 inch handle for this little hatchet

but again it wasn't, it just wasn't long enough to give you the leverage and power

okay so we're going to try this one

As I said this is well-seasoned so it should be pretty hard, so let's see how we get on

Oh yeah, it's hard, I should also say this hayn' helper didn't come very sharp

I had to do a bit of sharpening on it okay

okay so we can get a grip by getting in here in the corners

I'm kind of half starting to regret this already this is quite tough

It doesn't give that easily

Should be a good test of the knife though, I have to say so far

the handle is quite comfortable I like that

To be honest, I thought it would be easier to get some shavings off this

but it is really really hard. This knife is sharp now

It's actually razor sharp

it's taking hair with no trouble at all

But it's having troublebiting into this I'm not getting good

feather sticks as it were

we just have to work away

As I said I was tagged by Mickey Wilson

With the eight question tag

So I may as well carve away as I deal with those questions

Mickey has quite an interesting channel with some good videos in my in my opinion

He has some very very good videos on wild edibles, plants and fungi

He also did some some very good videos on navigation which I found very interesting

Plus he has a lot of other outdoor general stuff, that us kind of people find interesting

so he has quite a good channel so go check him out

I'll leave a link in the description to Mickeys channel

Anyway, first question is

what was my most memorable camp

There were a few from back in the day that involved going to music concerts

and many many flagons of cider, and ending up in a four man tent

with maybe eight or nine people but I think that's not the kind of camp he's on about

I'm going to say my most memorable camp was when I made a

shelter from ferns and I was planning on having a nice camp out

and it started raining heavily and I discovered a ferns are a rubbish shelter material

despite some people using them on YouTube

That was an eye opener to what a shelter should actually do or what you need in a shelter

Next question do I like solo or social camping?

I must say social camping, with my family

and it's mostly what you call car camping, but I really enjoy it

I enjoy getting away with the lads, I enjoy kayaking and traveling around and seeing stuff.

so social camping

question number three what is my favorite knife? I'm going to give you my favourite fixed blade knife

would be this little one. okay

This is a puukko from Kellam knives

and I love this this is this is my idea of what a knife should be

it's my favorite knife, but it's not my most used knife

Mainly because of the sheath. It's quite firmly in there, and it's a little bit awkward to get it out

and I find when I'm using a knife it's in and out of the sheath constantly

so this sticky sheath doesn't suit me

My most used fixed blade is this thing

It's a Frost's of Mora. Frost's and Morakniv were both based in the same town of Mora

and Morakniv bought the Frost's knife company

This was my first fixed blade and it's over 32 years old

It's a hollow plastic handle, which I've filled with some kind

of filler I forget what it's got maybe a half an inch of Tang

They tell you on YouTube that nothing but full tang will do

Well this tang is set in about a half an inch of plastic.

I've done everything with this knife

and it's still here none the worse 32 years later

I keep picking this one up from long association and it has very handy sheath, in and out

I wear it as a neck knife, because that's the handiest place when you're actually working with the knife

I find that extremely handy when you're finished

tuck it inside your shirt

So that is my most used fixed blade

From some of the comments I got on YouTube and from some posts I found and the Internet

where as being discussed, I think people have the impression I don't have any

fixed blades. I have some fixed blades

including some big fixed blades.

Question four, where did I learn my bush craft skills?

I don't consider myself a bushcrafter

I don't know that I have any amazing skills I have a fair idea how to use a knife

I know some basic knots I know how to put stuff together that's about it

I don't consider myself a bushcrafter, I just consider myself a country guy

If you asked me where I got my love for the outdoors from , It was from my dad

I've been following him since I was very very small boy for as long as I can remember

I've been following him hunting and fishing, trapping, all kinds of outdoor persuits

they ware the happiest times of my childhood

and it was from my dad Joe, that's where I got my love for the outdoors

what's my favorite fire-starting method without a doubt your Bic lighter

I live in a country with a very high rainfall everything everything I find is damp

So lighting a fire with a spark is not going to do it. You need direct flame

and you often need to hold direct flame to your material for a good long time

before it actually burns

There's a lot of what-ifs with your Bic lighter

What if they get wet and all that

Both of these were in my pocket and went through the washing machine

okay, this one I simply left in my pocket for half an hour

and it worked no trouble, after going through a full cycle of the washing machine

This one I rubbed on my pants and kept rubbing and flicking it

and left it in my pocket for half an hour and it worked perfectly

I don't see why you should make things harder than you need to, so for me is Bic lighter all the way

question six, what's my most essential piece of kit.

I thought about that one for a while

but as I say I live in a wet country and for me it has to be in my wellies

These are the Aigle Parcour two Wellington's,bit expensive for wellies

and I thought about it for a long time before I bought them

but I'm glad I did, they're about as close as you come to a walking shoe or boot in a Wellington

Quite comfortable, not ideal for long-distance walking with what I do is

bring spare pairs of socks with me and change them during the day

Even in Summer time, if I want to go everywhere I need to wear these

You could get waterproof boots, it would be just such a pain cleaning them, cleaning the muck and mud

off them afterwards with these you just rinse them under tap

The most essential piece of kit? My wellies

Question 7 do I carry a bug-out bag in my vehicle

I don't. I do carry what I think I'm going to need

I do carry a large bottle water and some small amount of food

If I'm facing very wet weather or or floods I bring my waders

If I'm facing snow, or I think I may have to leave my vehicle

I throw a sleeping bag in it or I bring my wellies and some walking sticks

if I think I have to walk home

I'm quite skeptical of the the bug-out bags

you see presented on YouTube with lots of guns and knives and axes

But they carry no food, they carry no water

most of them carrying old nor bedding

No form of mat to lie on at night, many of them carry no proper shelter

I think many of them are owned for the bragging rights and they're not meant to be used in anger

if you're going three days living off your own supplies

You need a lot of food, you need a lot of water or the means to get it

You need a sleeping bag you'll need a mat to lie on

You need a proper tent or shelter to keep the rain off you

okay, guns and knives in a bag with no food or anything else you need

I don't buy it

okay final question, question eight, do I prefer alcohol, gas, or wood for cooking?

without a doubt I prefer alcohol. I make my own stoves from coke cans, drink cans

pop cans if you like. It's a great hobby in its own right

It's very very interesting, there are many different types of stoves you can build

They're very easy to build, they cost nothing. They work very well

I don't like cooking on a wood fire because it dirties your pots.

They get very dirty after it

Gas, not so convenient for me

we don't have the large outdoor stores that you have in other countries

gas is not so so readily available for me

I can walk into any hardware shop and get a bottle of alcohol there, this is 2 euros 95 cents

It's very cheap I can get it anywhere and it works very well so alcohol for me

I'm not going to tag anybody else, often when I see guys doing tags

I say please please don't pick me. Now I didn't mind doing this I quite enjoyed it

and I want to thank Mickey very much for mentioning me and for picking me out

I appreciate it, as I say he's got a good channel

So go check Mickey Wilson out, okay

I also want to do a few shout outs on this video. I normally don't do it

because you can't possibly cover everybody you want to acknowledge, or give a shout out to

but I have three chaps who I watch and enjoy

and who deserve to have a lot more followers

These three chaps have also mentioned me in their videos

So it's time for me to pay back okay

The first chap I want to mention used to be called headcase 82

but he's recently changed his name to just Tom. Tom has videos on a good many subjects

He has quite a few kayaking videos as well as some product reviews

What I enjoy is his long-range shooting videos

He has one video where he's shooting a subsonic .22 at 400 yards

I don't know what he trajectory would be, it must be something like that

He also sets up his camera so you're able to see the disturbance

created by the bullet and follow the path of the bullet

The first time I saw it, I got a bit excited I taught my Jedi powers had finally matured

but no, it's just the way he sets up his video. It's very interesting to track the flight of the bullet

so I recommend you go and watch Tom

link in the description again

Another chap who I like watching is Peter Tampsett

Peter does a bit of bushcraft and various outdoor things

but he's a very knowledgeable chap, again on plants, fungi and just knowledge in general

country knowledge and in many cases you find that, that old time knowledge is disappearing

I very much like to watch his videos

Next channel is Johnny Juke. Johnny is a very interesting chap

He has a fantastic collection of knives he had he has some beautiful knife videos

and he has some beautiful knives well worth, well worth looking

He also has his own unique take on our knives and he likes the outdoors

He has some lovely outdoor videos and he shows some fantastic scenery from his part of the world

He's also a bloody fine musician and he has some some very good music

He's even started a series of lessons on the harmonica aimed at people like me

and it's called harmonica for dolts. So it's a great honor, I think

Anyway, Johnny Juke, well worth a look, again link in the description

And finally I'd like to recommend MrOtterdude or Joe

I've just finished watching one of his videos. It's called a pocketknife for life

and man he really sums up people like me and I presume you if you're watching this video

I thought it was a great video

He also covers different topics including cooking

he's going to put one up shortly of making primitive arrows

which I'm very interested in seeing so check out MrOtterdude

okay so we need to move on with the carving in this video guys

So I'm going to fast forward for a bit okay

Music by my niece Maura and my daughter Aoife

alright guys you're seeing the condensed version of this video but trust me on this one

this went on for quite a while this wood is very very tough and hard

I'm about at the stage now where I'm ready to put my wedge in

So that's the handle, it's not quite finished. I'm going to slim it down some more

I'm going to bring this hook down a little bit lower as well

I need to slim it around here

but for, for the video, we're finished.

it also needs a bit of ah,it also needs a bit of tinning on one side as well

this wasn't a plank, this was a piece of natural wood that I planed out, okay

anyway let's get the wedge in

okay guys, it's not perfect, it's not even fully finished, but there you have an axe

handle whittled with the Hayn' Helper

It should make my little hatchet much more useful to me

my opinion of the Hayn' Helper has gone up while I was doing this task

The handle is quite good

now my hands are little, a little sore because there's a lot of cutting, But

this left hand which was holding the wood has got a blister

Whereas no blisters over here, none to speak of anyway.

So the handle is good

The steel is hard and holds an edge and it's a good working knife

As I say my opinion has gone up quite a lot now that I've actually used it

So guys, that's our first look at the Great Eastern Cutlery Hayn' Helper.

I still haven't made my mind up about this knife

about Great Eastern Cutlery, but I'm going to have fun finding out

What I found from this task, is that it's a decent working knife

with decent steel, so I'm going to wrap it up for now I hope you enjoyed this video

We'll look at this some more so thanks very much for watching

and bye bye from vinniesdayoff

Megatron "I Want My Crew" Scene | Transformers The Last Knight (2017) Movie Clip - Duration: 3:56.

We call it the Tank.

He likes it down here.

This is where I deal with the dark shit.

Decepticons seem just as interested in these structures as we are.

Pred snapped this in Siberia.

He's been seen at all six horn locations around the world.

ID confirmed. Megatron.

And get this. He made contact with TRF.

Snatched up two CIA case officers. Said he wants to negotiate.

With him? What the hell does he want?

Certain alien associates of his released.

Scheduled contact is lD'd and cleared.

Confirmation. Hostages are clear.

The Department of Justice has okayed it

so long as the US military watches his every move.

You're gonna be on point, because he is not our friend.

You know who they always kill first?

Lawyers.

We've made deals with the devil before during times of crisis.

If we 're gonna get through this, we have got to open the door

and let the monsters inside.

There is a weapon out there of unimaginable power.

A threat to our very existence.

And Megatron can lead us to it.

Do I know you, human?

- I want my crew! - Give me names!

- Mohawk. - Mohawk?

What up, fellas? Man, lwant to kill you right now.

But l'ma kill you later.

Definitely gonna kill y'all mofos later.

- He's cleared! - All right.

Dreadbot.

Dreadbot. In for bank robbery.

Aggravated assault. Murder.

Double murder. Triple murder. Nine dead.

Didn't even take the money. No.

We're not letting him out, no.

What?

I mean, but we can be flexible.

If he wears a GPS tracker, it's fine.

Okay.

Okay.

Nitro Zeus.

Baby, free at last!

Thank Megatron, I'm free at last!

Thank you. Gonna miss you, Tim.

Thank you for your hospitality, Brad.

I know where you live, Enrique.

Say hello to your wife for me.

But the government requests that he does not leave the county.

- And we're serious about that. - Okay.

Okay.

And last but not least, Berserker.

I'll suck your brains!

- Absolutely not. - Yeah. No.

No. No. There are limits. Pick again.

Onslaught.

You need a bigger door!

Let me run that up the flag pole real quick.

I just got to call someone.

Great, thank you. Yes. Yes!

Go. Go.

What do you really want, Megatron?

What anyone wants, human.

To go home.

Yeah, that'd be all right with me, too.

Megatron, he's after something Yeager has.

Something they need to help find this weapon.

We're gonna let those Decepticons do our dirty work.

On my go, they'll be given Yeager's hideout coordinates.

You track Megatron every step.

Take the weapon.

And then I'm taking his ass out.

Defender Front Axle 10 to 24 Spline Conversion Maxi Drive Halfshafts & Detroit Truetrac Upgrade - Duration: 11:35.

g'day I'm Brett i'm at M.R. Automotive in Redcliffe Queensland home of Maxi Drive

products i'm here to have my front axle completely rebuilt to improve strength

reliability and off-road traction performance so let's take a look now at

some of the upgrades i'll be doing on the front axle it will include a

conversion of the axles from 10 spline to 24 spine Maxi Drive units the

installation of a Detroit TrueTrac limited slip diff changing from the

later CV's to earlier one tonne Landrover a AEU2522's which are the

strongest Landrover ever produced and also changing the drive flanges to Maxi

Drive drive flanges which are made from better quality materials so let's go

through now each of these components now I'm upgrading from the 10-32 spine which

I have originally in the Land Rover front axle which one the worst

combinations produced by Land Rover and I'm changing to a 24-23 spline Maxi Drive unit now these are manufactured from aircraft material known as high

tough nickel chrome moly steel and heat treated to 1550 MPA so they work out

about 50% stronger than the original Land Rover axles so let's take a quick

look at the before and after to show you the differences between 10 spline and 24

spline half shafts so this is the original 10 spline unit and this is the

upgraded 24 spline so not only is the actual shaft diameter bigger than the 24

spine but there's more surface area around the spine region

so we take the measurements it works out at 28.23mm for

ten spline and 31.6 for a 24 spline so it's significantly bigger as well as the

stronger material ten splines have a history of the splines twisting or the

ends sheering off in the Diff due to the depth of the ten splines it

significantly reduces the maximum diameter or the core diameter of the

shaft which is where the weakness is introduced the 32 spline CV end has the

smallest diameter of all the shafts and is typically prone to the splines

shearing off due to their fineness or the end snaps off in the CV this is a

table of the half shaft and CV combinations they were produced so you

can get an idea as to what combination you are running in your vehicle the

county's up to mid 20L axle code had 10-23 My late 200tdi had 10-32 the

weakest spline combination produced from around 300 TDI onwards it changed to 24

32 but if you want the absolute strongest shaft you have to go

aftermarket to MaxiDrive Ashcroft Kam and among a few others to a 24

diff end 23 CV end most 200 TDI's should be able to convert to the earlier county

or Ashcroft CV's easily but for 300tdi onwards it's best to use an aftermarket

CV from Ashcroft or similar which have a later style CV built from stronger

materials but with a 23 spline input for the aftermarket shaft now the difference

in the material strength between standard 10 and 24 spline half shafts is

actually pretty minimal it was the design of the spline area which is

typically where the failures occur you can find the graph on Ashcroft

transmissions website showing breaking tests they did with the short 10 and 24

spline half-shafts showing that they both break around the same amount of

force applied although the amount of twist each can handle before failure is

quite different but by converting to aftermarket half-shafts

you're getting far superior material strength and the stronger 24-23 spline

combination this table I made shows the measurements of the shaft diameters

you can see these 32 CV end minor diameter is only 24.9

millimeters which is the smallest diameter of all the shafts compare that

to the Maxi-Drive 23 CV end shaft minor diameter of 28.5

millimeters which is still larger than all of the measurements of the original

ten spline shaft the CV's are being changed from the later RTC6862

to the earlier County one tonne army-style AEU2522's which are the

strongest Landrover ever produced you can see clearly here the difference in

the shaft diameter inputs the 32 spline and the 23 spline

I'm also upgrading the drive flanges to MaxiDrive drive flanges which have a

bit more spline area and made from stronger materials and can be used for

oil lubricated systems with a better sealing design with the steel cap

now I'm replacing the land rover 2 pin diff as its the pin which is a two pin

diff only has a single pin it's prone to cracking or snapping and the spider

gears can also crush and break off the housing can also wear out and where the

pin fits in it can ovalate and the pin can flog around inside so this is being

replaced with a Detroit TrueTrac limited slip diff

the Eaton Detroit Truetrac is an automatic torque biasing limited-slip

differential I chose this unit as it is a simple design using gears not clutch

packs it has no electronics or Airlines and doesn't need special oils the

unit requires no maintenance it will transfer up to 3.5 times more torque to

the wheel with greater traction when the opposite wheel is spinning thus helping

to drive the vehicle forward the downside of the design is if one wheel

lifts completely off the ground and has no resistance it acts like an open diff

but the unit can be tricked with some left foot braking to provide resistance

which will then help the wheel with traction continue to move forward the

differential is made with three helical worm gears and a side gear on each side

when traction is lost the helical worm gears are forced outwards into the

carrier producing friction it's this friction which reduces the spinning of

the spinning wheel and helps divert more torque to the wheel which still has

traction I chose this over a full locking differential as it's used 100%

of the time to provide greater traction compared to the two percent of times I

may actually need a full locking differential I've had a Detroit TrueTrac

installed in the rear axle for the last three years and it has performed

flawlessly I'm quite certain it has helped me not get bogged on a few

occasions so the downside of this upgrade is I have strengthened the rest

of the drive line so it will send strain to the weakest link which would now be

either the ring and pinion or the gearbox and transfer case which are more

expensive to fix obviously but I think this is unlikely as I am running

standard tires in my style of driving it's typically touring outback areas I'm

not doing rock crawling I'm not typically going any really

challenging tracks I'm just exploring so this should give me plenty of

reliability and I doubt there'll be any issues with failing components as I have

already rebuilt the gearbox transfer case in all the rear axle has already

been upgraded to MaxiDrive units so I think this is a rock-solid upgrade.

Okay my initial impressions just after the drive home the steering is a lot

more firmer in the return to center as I come out of a corner I can feel the

wheel wanting to come back a lot more strongly then what it previously did

but that seems to be fairly acceptable and also before I got the conversion

done I jacked up my front wheel I grabbed on the wheel and I turned it and

watched the prop shaft and I could move it from about 12 o'clock to around 1

o'clock positions so there's a fair bit of slop play before the prop shaft will

begin to move I've just done the same thing and I can literally move it about

one centimetre and the prop shaft moves so a lot of drive line slop has been

taken out which should be a really good thing the price it came in to around

4000 Australian dollars for the complete upgrade which included the diff the

axles drive flanges CV's and all the labor and other parts the bearings

sealing kits oil I feel that's a fairly reasonable price because I'm thinking

about reliability in remote areas so I can't afford to break down in the middle

of Australia particularly when I'm out exploring Western Australia which is

what I hope to intend to do fairly soon the distances are too vast and the cost

of recovery to get someone out all the way to collect my car and get me back to

safety is just way too much for it for instance if you break down in the middle

of the Simpson Desert you can expect to pay a starting recovery cost of ten

thousand Australian dollars and that's just the starting cost you have to have

that money available before they'll even turn on the engine on the recovery truck

to come out and get you so I think 4000 now is much more better than spending

ten thousand dollars later plus the costs of repairs to the car and plus

the danger to my life and those who come out to rescue me which could be you know

three four five days drive to get to where I am depending on where I'm

exploring at the time so that's for reliability and safety

I'm happy to spend that money now now please remember that I am a

Landrover enthusiast not a Landrover expert so the

information I've presented in this video although I've tried to research it the

best I can and present it as far as I know as accurately as I can there could

always be some incorrect information so do your own research and check all your

own part numbers chassis numbers against the specifications for different parts

so a special thanks to Blake and the team at M.R, Automotive for completing

the conversion and for allowing me access into their workshop to do some

filming. Thanks for watching. Please subscribe if you enjoyed this video.

Crochet Bow Tie For Mini Wedding Bears - Duration: 4:56.

hi guys welcome back this is part three of the wedding accessories for the mini

crochet bear in this video we're making a little bow tie if this is the first

time you've seen one of these videos there is a playlist that will walk you

through all the steps of making this bear in all the accessories that go with

it and that playlist is popping up on your screen it's a little circle there

you can click that if you don't see a circle there look in the description box

below and the playlist is there to make a little bow tie ever of course using

black yarn but I'm going to show you how to do it using this cream colored yarn

because black doesn't show up so well on film those of you who struggle using

black yarn I would suggest sitting in front of a window that has lots of light

or use a lamp and put that right over your stitches and that should help you

get through it I'm using the same hook that I've been using all along and

that's a 4.25 millimeter hook and again I'm using a bobby pin to attach my

bowtie to the bear if you don't have a bobby pin of course you can just sew the

bow tie right to the bear and I'm also using a blunt and your needle if you

don't need help with the crocheted rose there is a free written pattern that

could be printed off and that link is popping up on your screen

alright guys grab your crochet hook and let's get started alright so Row one

chain eleven so make your slip knot yarn over and pull through eleven times

there's our chain of 11 and starting in the second chain from the hook there's

the first one starting in the second one we're gonna single crochet across the

chain

at the end of row two and now we have ten stitches across chain one and turn

Row 3 is one single crochet in each one of those 10 stitches and we're gonna be

skipping the chain that we just made so we start in the first stitch of the row

and in this row work the starting yarn tail into the first three stitches so

I'm gonna show you how to do that put your hook through hold this starting

here and tail over your hook there's one two we're crocheting around that

starting yarn tail

and that just saves us from having to weave it in at the end okay

we're gonna cut it free but just give it a little tug so we know that it's pulled

up to the end and now we can cut it free be careful not to cut any of your

working yarn alright now we'll continue on one single crochet to the end all

right guys I just made it across now we're going to join the ends it's a

chain one hold the ends together and now we're going to slip stitch across the

edge we're going to put two of them in so just go through the first loop just

pick up a loop and then the other loop on the other side pull yarn through and

through and then through now push your hook through the next loop and we're

doing it this way to keep it from getting too thick on the ends now push

your hook through the next loop pull the yarn through and through and then

through and there we go we're all done now we're going to break free leave a

tail that you can use to wind up the middle

it's red your urine tail with your urine needle before we continue on with the

next step okay open it up and then fold it with the joined edges in the center

in the back and now we're going to wrap around the middle really tight creating

a bow

just like that okay and now we're going to bring our yarn needle through

anywhere so we can knot off I'll just pick a little bit of yarn close by pull

through and before we pulling all the way through go back go through that loop

and pull tight now we're going to weave in the yarn tail just bring it through

anywhere and out and just stretch out either corner because it might be a

little bit bunched up and do it on both sides I just grabbed it with my

fingernails and pull so to attach it to the bear I'm just gonna use a bobby pin

again don't use stick pins because they can put someone at risk of injury just

push it through a little bit of yarn and that's it all right you know to attach

it this one is gonna have to go down into the body and not behind of course

because the bobby pins too long it'll just stick out the other end and there

we go alright guys that brings us to the end of this video so part 4 will be the

hat as soon as it's available it will be popping up on your screen thanks so much

for watching and we'll see you super soon

An Exciting Finish! Birds to the Boughs by Lindy Stitches Flosstube - Duration: 5:34.

hey everyone it's Stephanie welcome back to my channel I am filming this on the

same day that I filled my last update so yes you're not having deja vu.

momma's got a film when momma's gotta film. so it's a few weeks later for you

the same day for me I hope you like I still remember the sampler I released a

few weeks ago. I have another new release for you today and that's the primary

reason why I am here I can't wait to show it to you because it's the most

beautiful thing that I've ever designed I am extremely proud of it and here it

is it is called birds to the boughs and

here's what it looks like yep

how did I design this? I just picked out colors that sang together and I put them

all over the page I think this is perfection I love this so much. I love

that it's funky yet it has this historical flair to it I think because

of the lettering and because of the older-style motifs I think it's romantic

yeah so the text says as birds are fitted to the boughs so was my love to

me. that is a quote from a poem and I loved the poem desperately. I'm going to

read it to you. I wrote to the author who is now deceased and his estate manager

gave me permission to use the poem in my stitching and also to give you the poem

in the stitching notes so I'd like to read you the phone. it is by Lewis

Simpson and it is called as birds are fitted to the boughs. as birds are fitted

to the battles that blossom on the tree, and whisper when the south wind blows so

was my love to me. and still she blossoms in my mind and whisper softly though the

clouds are fitted to the wind the wind is to the snow.

yeah this was stitched by my friend Ashley Morgan she did a lovely job it's

two over two on 32 count... what's it called? silvery moon Lugana so it's a

really really light blue you probably... I mean sometimes they can't even tell it's

blue it's really a subtle blue color silvery blue very beautiful I think

honestly I had a hard time choosing a fabric for these colors because they

just really they really sing together and vibe together and I originally

charted it for bittersweet light which is a really light orange pink. I went

through a lot of fabrics for this one and honestly you could choose so many

different options with these colors if you just pull the DMC do a bunch of

floss tosses it the colors really sing together regardless of the fabric choice

and you can tell a lot of them pop they're kind of they're not neon but

they're really bright lovely colors so I hope that you like this. my framer found

this awesome frame that was leftover from someone else's project kind of at

the last minute. I had something that I picked out that I liked and all of a

sudden she came out of the back saying hey what about this? and it was like yeah

yeah that! thank you! so pretty I'm very proud of that

so as usual the pattern is in my Etsy shop if you purchase it from me you will

get a page with a cover image the pattern and a page with the poem and the

stitching notes but... birds to the boughs. I would love to hear

what you think and leave me a comment I love interacting with you all I hope you

like the new direction I'm going in I'd love to hear your thoughts I hope you're

having a great stitching week thanks for stopping by and checking this out I will

see you on Instagram thanks everybody bye
