The Dutch College League is a competition between the universities and colleges around the Netherlands
To play for a prize and a spot in the IESF World Championship in Taiwan this year
Our opponent is ESEV Zephyr from Eindhoven
And I am very excited to play against them in the finals
The recent meta changes and the patchnotes forces them to adjust their playstyle against us
So today we play a best of five against Zephyr
Which means that the first team to reach 3 wins, wins
In between matches we have a little bit of a break
So we can have some thoughts over our new pick and ban phase
Basically we're going one game to the next and keep on going until one team wins
So it should be three easy wins, I'm fairly confident of that
I have confidence that we have a really good shot at winning
My expectation is to take advantage of my early game pressure to take objectives and just snowball the game

And we just kept on winning fights and at a certain point I knew he would be able to
get this in the bag aslong as we listen to him so he was our win condition there

They figured out a way to counter us in the first two matches

I improvise a lot
I simply draw a first line with the pencil
I draw on the wood
and from that first line I get going.
I suck it and see how can it look good, how can it look better and from here I start the piece.
Sometimes I start carving without knowing what I will end up doing.
Basically it's patience, because for some pieces I already know exactly what I will do from the start
so before starting everything is drawn and designed then I start carving.
And there's other pieces that take more time because I design them as I'm carving
And I'm not always happy with the first idea or design
There's times that even after carving for one hour ad a half or two
I say: 'Ok, it doesn't convince me'. I don't want this piece to have this feeling of what I just did.
And I say' 'Zero, bye!'
So... a lot of patience and calmness...!
When there's a piece that stuck with me and at the same time somebody likes it and wants to keep it
at the moment I hand it I explain to them a bit the history of the piece
And usually people want to understand more about it, and they like to know
what was in my head or in my imagination when I was carving it.
I've always noticed people is really grateful by this when I hand the piece to them
So I tell the history behind the pieces to anyone watching them
And they like to know it so it's like 'Wow, nice!'
These are not just things because somehow they create a world within me.
All of the things that I have done, I carved them myself, but sometimes it was someone else's idea.
People ask me 'Hey, I would like to have this done by you.'
And I 'Well, I've never done anything like that before, but if you're patient and give me enough time, I'll try.'
So sometimes I surprise myself carving stuff for the first time that I didn't know I was capable of
and it's due to the people that I know that shared their ideas with me
that I've managed to do most of the things I've carved.
I enjoy a lot reading fantasy and science-fiction
I guess it helps me connect the ideas that I have
when I read something with the things I carve.
I don't know how to draw. I do know how to create abstract forms and different stuff
But I enjoy how simply drawing few lines,
be it geometric shapes or drawing freehand, and doing anything that inspires me,
I can create things of which later on I feel happy about.
It's curious, even though they might not be fully understandable, they still can be visually beautiful.
From a blank piece where there was nothing before
now it's making my imagination get carried away and finding connections and stories.
Thankfully there are thoughts that will remain with me, this way people
wont take me for a madman.
But whatever... There's some other that may understand me and...

If you know me for more than half a decade, you'll know that I was an active member
of the Doom community.
You'll also know that in some way I used to be such an attention whoring retard, at
least in the community's words, and I did really controversial shit in the Doom community
for ages.
Maybe blame my autism, but a lot of times, a lot of members of the Doom community didn't
really like me a bit.
Even then, I made several contributions to the Doom community such as maps or mods for
GZDoom and the sort.
But the final straw for them apparently was a blog post in the off-topic forum in the
ZDoom forums about some Down Syndrome twat doing nuclear diarrhea in a bathroom stall
at work.
They banned me for this and never wanted to see me again at this point.
Now, it seems the Doom community, despite me changing my way of being, has held a grudge
against me for around half a decade now, and looking at it, it seems they've become the
ones who they hate the most.
Not only the Doom community has filled itself with Social Justice Warrior dogshit like soyboys,
cucks, transexuals, furries and bronies, but it also went into the literal SJW way: the
ZDoom forums have their posts held for approval by admins every time, like they don't really
take the banter anymore.
Two threads of mine have been disapproved by the admins because they still are crying
about me after 5 long years or so.
One of them was a TotalBiscuit Funeral mod, which even if it's respectful or not to
the memory of John Bain, they didn't even bother to check the thread or the mod because
they have an obvious bias against me.
On Doomworld I tried to promote my stream with a little quirk making fun of certain
speedrunner (and yes, this is a throwback to one of my older videos, wink wink), and
they insta-banned me with the message "nazi punks fuck off".
I am not the only one here, I also know the story of SgtMarkIV, the literal chad of the
Doom community, who was banned in the ZDoom forums for having a little bit of wrongthink.
And look at that guy, he has under his belt the most successful Doom mod in all of Doom
modding history.

And it's easy to see why.
He's a gorgeous cat with unique characteristics and traits.
Truth is a lot of cat lovers would love to have a Ragdoll companion.
But, do you really know what to expect from this beautiful feline?
Considering how rare and expensive this beauty can be, here are seven things you need to
know about owning a Ragdoll Cat.
Let's get started, but before we start, make sure to hit that subscribe button and

You may have heard that The Ragdoll doesn't shed.
The truth is that your fluffy kitty will shed a LOT, despite some internet claims.
This is especially true in warmer climates.
There is little you can do to stop this from happening.
As a result, you'll have to come up with creative ways to rid your furniture and clothing
and likely every other surface of your house of kitty hair.
And, you'll likely end up brushing your feline friend at least twice a week and regular
trips to the groomer will definitely need to be added to your schedule to keep him free
of mats and to trim his coat.
Oh, and if you've heard that the Ragdoll is hypoallergenic, he's not.

Not all Ragdoll cats go floppy when held.
Although many expect the Ragdoll to be wilt into their arms like his namesake child's

If you work a lot or are out of the house for often, a Ragdoll isn't going to be a
happy kitty.
As a matter of fact, many Ragdoll fan report that he's not content to wait outside the
bathroom while you shower or even a short trip to the potty.
Some suggest you could get two Ragdolls so that they'll have someone to have a decent
conversation with while you're out.

The Ragdoll is intelligent, which can lead to a bit of mischief if you've not set guidelines
at an early age.
When it comes to cats, there are rarely rules per se, just guidelines of acceptable behavior.
But, if you start early, he'll learn quickly what is acceptable and what is not.
If you don't want your Ragdoll on the counters, for example, be firm and consistent and start
early.

If you are used to having short-haired domestic cats, then you might be surprised by just
how big the Ragdoll can get.
Of course, there are smaller Ragdolls.
But he is considered to be a large cat breed.
So, you need a larger litter box, a larger cat bed, a larger cat tree and larger food
bowls and ummm larger bags of food.
You will also need a larger cat carrier, as the Ragdoll not only weighs more but maybe
taller and longer than your average kitty.

As a breed, the Ragdoll is relatively rare and thus expensive and can be a bit hard to
find.
Any time there is a scarcity, you run the risk of scams.
There are a surprising amount of scams online when it comes to adopting a purebred kitten.
Make sure that you're adopting a Ragdoll cat through a reputable breeder who is registered
with TICA and CFA if you have your heart set on a Ragdoll or any other purebred animal
for that matter.
Ask around on Facebook groups and forums, if you don't know where to start.

And, of course, the cost of having a Ragdoll in your home doesn't end at the breeder
either.
A Ragdoll is a 15-20 year commitment which includes food, grooming, and larger amenities.
He's also prone to certain breed-specific health issues, such as heart conditions and
bladder stones that could require veterinarian care.
And, of course, there 's always the chance of addiction and that one Ragdoll cat may
be the gateway to a houseful of Ragdolls.
