Inside a HOT SPRING resort in Wakayama: Hot baths and Ear cleansing for body and soul - Duration: 11:08.

Whoa!

Wow

Nooooooooo

Uuuuh.

In our last Japan travel episode we took you to some wonderful places

in Wakayama. And lot of fun memories were made.

Our journey through Wakayama continues today, so sit back

while we take you to some other must-do and must-try things here in Wakayama.

Right next to the harbor is our Hina no Yu Ryokan.

Ryokan is a Japanese traditional guesthouse and "Hina"

is like the Hina dolls themed on the Japanese dolls that

he put up around March for girls

Hina no yu is great if you love staying in a traditional Japanese guest house atmosphere

There are many Japanese Hina dolls as charming decorations

and the guest house is right next to the sea.

Their hot spring Onsen is on top of the roof.

So you can soak in the hot water and look at the beautiful sea.

There are many hina dolls here... and look at the view!

oh that's wonderful! You can look right on to the sea!

There's a shrine right in front near the ryokan too.

That is a great place, just look at the view.

Awesome view to wake up to.

Especially because other guests aren't currently here

because other guests aren't there,

we can have an exclusive look into their onsen area

which you usually can't do. We're in for a treat.

Let's have a look and see what the ladies onsen looks like.

So here we are these are the ladies rooms you can see the makeup mirrors

it's not set up yet because obviously it's very early in the morning and the

guests aren't here yet... oh this is where you get changed

This is where the actual ofuro area is... Wow

That is wonderful

Wow

It's in the shape of a ship outside.

Oh I can feel the breeze from the sea.

Let's have a look to the other area there's one inside too

- Oh check it out

so this is where you actually wash yourself properly and make sure you're

completely clean before you go into the inside or the outside Onsen.

Everything's steamed up now... oh dear can you still see?

So yeah that's the inside onsen. Again you have a view of the sea over here...

Don't forget especially if you're new to Japan, you need to make sure

you completely clean, wash everything first before you go into

any of the onsen. That's very important

This feels great.

There are also some English descriptions on how to use an onsen.

Don't bring swim wear. You generally bathe naked in Japan.

Afterwards there are some amenities to help you get ready.

And you can do some ear cleaning... WAIT!

Ear cleaning?!

Right now we are in the "ESTE club" of the Hina onsen and spa

and guess what Bonita Bonito is here ...

Hello! Here I am again. Thank you for coming again.

You have lots of ear spa branches don't you?

We are located in many places.

Bonita Bonito also has a branch inside this onsen and hotel.

Oh yes, can you introduce youself?

I'm the dirty ear man Matt.

You finished work and then...

Go up there and use the onsen clean them out.

Every day?

- Except for the past three days because the onsen is closed

He hasn't cleaned his ears for 3 days.

That's good. I am looking forward to it.

You're actually a chef downstairs in the kitchen here.

If you're curious about that video, we put that in the links.

So you can check out how he introduces the food to us but we totally took him away

from his workplace just now, brought him upstairs to the 3rd floor

to get his ears looked at. You're ready for this?

Yeah... no... I was kind of set up.

Looking forward to your honest direction of seeing your ears for the very 1st time.

I am not looking forward to it. - What do you think it will look like?

Terrible molten lava

Molten lava, let's go...

Oh no...

Nooooooo

Uuuuuh....

Urgh it's terrible.

Even if you clean it every day it can get like this...

Let's have a look at the other side, that's the one you don't hear well on.

Gross!

It looks different from my ears. The color and it's kind of flakey.

Well, yes. It's dry ears.

Looks like your ears are dry. Oh what's that!?

You damaged your ear by cleaning it.

You cleaned it so much that you made your ears bleed.

Does this mean he cleans it too much? - It's proof that he overdid it.

Looks terrible. Remember how it looks now cause we are gonna make it pretty...

Well she's gonna make it look pretty.

We are gotta find out. Looking forward to your reactions.

Uh that's a LOT.

So gooey.

OMG

This is terrible...

Gooey Gooey...

This is so gross...

I can see you're clenching your toes.

Have a look. This is your finished result.

Look how clean your ears are now.

Wow!

Feels good.

Feels nice.

Oh... she said OH!!!

It's like a job and a half there.

It's caked on...

I wouldn't.... Please please don't ruin cake for me

don't associate that with the word cake!

Does it hurt? - No it doesn't hurt.

You know this is kind of the thing wher somebody says like ...

"Oh by the way we're gonna clean your ears tomorrow"

it's kind of a thing like "oh I better clean up the day before"

or like the morning of.

That's good. This is like the ear mug that you¥ accumulate in three days

Yeah so gross.

I mean like... urgh...

And so much hair!

Beautiful beautiful...

They're pretty now.

I cleansed them for you now.

Beautiful.... - Beautiful?

Beautiful ears now.

Let's have a look what was in your ear...

AAAAAAHHH

Do you need this?

Thank you, I certainly don't need that.

MMmmh...

Okay let's ask his opinion.

How was it very first ... was this the first time you went to a spa?

It's very unique! - How does it feel?

It feels good especially the massage part

but the... just seeing it in the camera it's kind of like feeling AAAAAAAAH

Feeling relaxed? - Yes

How do your ears feel? - They feel good, nice. Clean.

Fantastic. Thank you so much for taking part in this.

Now we let you back to you profession which is actually doing food

Had a very relaxing day

Thank you so much.

Okay as a special we are allowed into the

kitchen that's usually a no-go, but we're allowed to show you guys so let's

have a look

This is REAL shark skin? - Yes - WHAT?

After finishing eating, your heart will feel satisfied.

And the taste will of course have satisfied you too.

And that will make me happy too.

Agriculture: The Worst Mistake in the History of the Human Race - Duration: 11:17.

>> ALEX: This Technicality episode is brought to you by brilliant.org.

*walks into frame*

I've got a question for you: what do you think of when you think of humanity's switch

to agriculture?

What do you think of when early humans switched from a hunting and gathering lifestyle, to

a farming lifestyle?

What about the people who existed before agriculture; what were they like?

I know what I think; I personally have always looked at the switch from hunting and gathering

to farming as the place in human history where we, well, got our act together, and started

modernizing.

The people before us, well, they were just savage hunter-gatherers.

In school, we're all taught that this Neolithic revolution, this switch to agriculture, was

one of the best things to happen to us because it allowed specialization and put us on track

for the big cities and the modern lifestyle we have today.

But what if I told you it was actually a disaster, and, in fact, a massive mistake.

Hey guys, I'm here, let's get technical.

You probably know who Jared Diamond is.

Or, at the very least, you've heard of his Pulitzer Prize winning book, Guns, Germs,

and Steel.

But we're not gonna talk about that today, we're gonna talk about this article, from

the May 1987 issue of Discover magazine.

Written by Diamond himself, it's titled The Worst Mistake in the History of the Human

Race, and, if you haven't guessed already, it's about agriculture.

In his book the Phenomenology of Spirit, German philosopher Georg Hegel argues that progress

is never linear, and while we may think of now as the epitome of human innovation, and

the past as simply primitive, we can learn a lot of lessons from the past that have been

lost in the modern day.

So, today, let's learns those lessons.

Let's discuss what Diamond argues we can learn from hunting and gathering that has

been lost in the modern day and see if it really IS the worst mistake in the history

of the human race.

*like Mario* LESAGO!

>> CLONE: Wait wait wait Alex there are clearly so many benefits to agriculture.

After adopting agriculture, people were just clearly better off.

>> ALEX: Really?

Why?

>> CLONE: They were healthier; they had a constant food supply.

>> ALEX: Ok, let's debunk that.

First, agrarians actually had more illnesses than hunter-gatherers.

The study of prehistoric diseases and afflictions is called paleopathology, and paleopathologists

study skeletons to learn more about the makeup ancient humans, as well as what illness inflicted

them.

This is George Armelagos, and he and his team at University of Massachusetts studied 800

Native American skeletons at Dickson Mounds, located at an intersection of the Spoon and

Illinois rivers.

They wanted to look for the changes in health that occurred when the Native Americans there

switched from hunting and gathering to farming corn in about 1150 CE.

What did they learn?

The farmers were riddled with problems.

There was an increase in degenerative conditions of the spine (signifying too much strenuous

physical labour), a four-times increase in iron-deficiency anemia, a three-times increase

in bone lesions (signifying a plethora of infectious diseases), and a 50% increase in

enamel defects (signifying malnutrition).

Second, life expectancy for hunter-gatherers was longer than agriculturalists.

Armelagos found that the life-expectancy at birth of the hunter-gatherers was around 26

years, however, after the switch to agriculture, it dropped to 19, or a decrease of over 25%.

And third, hunter-gatherers were taller than their farming counter parts.

Just like how we can use skeletons to determine health, we can also use them to determine

height.

When paleopathologists studied Greek and Turkish skeletons, they found that the average height

of the hunter-gatherers was 5' 9'' for men and 5' 5'' for women, however, upon taking

up agriculture, high crashed to 5' 3'' for men and 5' for women.

That's a half foot drop in men, and a 5 inch drop in women.

I will now demonstrate what that looks like

Average height, by the way, is a fairly good measure of overall health, since a variety

of health problems, notably malnutrition, have a pretty big impact on it.

And, of course, it's important to consider malnutrition when you're talking about,

well, systems of getting food.

>> CLONE: Ok, agriculture's bad for health, but why?

I live in an agricultural society, and I'm healthy.

>> ALEX: Come on.

Come on man.

Who are we kidding?

>> CLONE: yeah that's fair.

>> ALEX: This is not a joke, one day last week, I literally ate chocolate chip pancakes

for breakfast, chocolate chip pancakes, and pasta for dinner.

Soooo....

While that fact is incredibly depressing, it segues nicely into my next point: there

are three reasons why agriculture is bad health.

First, all of that starch.

With the rise of farming, we also saw the rise of starchy crops: wheat, rice, and corn.

That in and of itself isn't necessarily bad, but when that's the only or primary

thing you eat (say, if you were to live in a farming society that only or primarily makes

those foods), you miss out on many amino acids, vitamins, and nutrients that are incredibly

beneficial.

Why were starchy crops so dominant?

They were practical.

Not only were they easy to mass produce and had the most calories possible, they were

also easy to tax.

They weren't buried under ground like potatoes, which would be hard to tax because each individual

crop would have to be dug up and counted, and there was a consistent time when they

were ripe, unlike, say, legumes.

James C. Scott, political scientist, anthropologist, and author of Against the Grain: A Deep History

of the Earliest States calls grains, quote "visible, divisible, assessable, storable,

transportable, and 'ration-able'" and they were really the only crops with all of

those characteristics.

Perfect for taxation, my dudes.

Conversely, the diet of hunter-gatherers is incredibly diverse and healthy.

They've got a wide variety of wild plants and animals to eat.

A matter of fact, the Kalahari bushmen, modern-day hunter-gatherers, get 2,140 calories and 93

grams of protein daily.

When asked why the tribe didn't switch to farming, much like their neighbors, one bushman

said quote "Why should we, when there are so many mongongo nuts in the world?"

Second, if you're dependant on a certain crop, and that crop fails, you've got starvation

on your hands.

And we've seen this before; does the Irish Potato Famine ring a bell?

Third, agriculture encourages people to join together in big cities.

After all, you do wanna be where the food is, and big cities means diseases... and lots

of them... and them spreading very quickly... and death.

In a hunting and gathering society, epidemics couldn't find their footing.

After all, small tribes constantly moving around doesn't allow for diseases to spread

too easily.

However, once we saw the rise of farming, cities, and domesticated animals, we also

saw the rise of tuberculosis, measles, and the most infamous of them all, the bubonic

plague.

>> CLONE: But Alex, you have 0 iq, you're missing the point of agriculture:

it allows for specialization.

Not everyone has to find food, so people can spend time working on their life's passion

and contribute to society in all sorts of new amazing ways.

Not to mention, agriculture allows for leisure time, and the budding of art and culture and

humanity and anime!

And sure, health suffers a bit, and you've got more diseases, but that specialization

and anime makes it all worth it.

>> ALEX: How do you thinking hunting and gathering works?

>> CLONE: Well, you spend your days out in the world

hunting for meat and gathering for... uh, berries.

And then, at the end of your day, you come back and eat your rations.

You go to bed.

Do it again tomorrow.

You're all hunky dory.

>> ALEX: Hunter and gatherers actually spend less time per day hunting than you might think.

Howard Spodek, professor of history and geography at Temple University, wrote in his book The

World's History, that hunter-gatherers would only need to devote an average of 800-1,000

hours a year to hunting and gathering.

This is opposed to the 1,000-1,300 hours a year farmers spend farming.

Let's put that in perspective: 800-1,000 hours a year is around 2.2-2.75 hours a day.

To claim that you wouldn't have time for specialization in a hunting and gathering

society or specialization only exists under an agricultural system is simply incorrect.

Even if you want to stay confined to an 8 hour, a 9-5 work day, you would only spend

a third of your time actually getting food, while the other two thirds could be spent

on how you think you could best contribute to society.

Under a hunting and gathering society, people have plenty of time to specialize in whatever

area they desire.

Also, the claim that farming caused art and music and culture because it allowed for leisure

time is preposterous.

Those things existed before agriculture, usually in the form of painting and sculptures, and

there's no reason why the practice of those things are exclusive to an agrarian society.

Heck, anthropologists have found that hunter-gatherers spend MORE time on art and culture than agrarians.

>> CLONE: *with head back* EHHHH fine but at least at this point agriculture can't

get any worse.

>> ALEX: Actually, it can! *off screen clone* You shouldn't be so happy when saying that.

*like Walker* mOkay

With agriculture comes deep class divisions.

And we know this, right?

We've all seen the Bill Wurtz video.

>> History of Japan, 0:33-0:40

Bill's right.

Because agriculture has does have stored food and concentrated sources of food (like farms),

whoever controls that food, regardless of if they produce it (a matter of fact, they're

probably NOT the ones producing it), has all the power.

And this has negative effects on people in lower social classes.

Greek skeletons found at Mycenae, an archaeological site south-west of Athens, revealed that lower-class

people were two to three inches shorter than royals, and had an average of 6 cavities or

missing teeth, as opposed to the royals, who has only 1.

Chilean skeletons revealed lower classes had 4 times more bone lesions caused by disease

than royals.

Not to mention, with social classes comes oppression and slavery, something you can't

have if everyone has to collect food for themselves every day.

>> CLONE: Ok, but, Alex there's got to be some upside to agriculture.

Why did we even switch in the first place?

>> ALEX: Well, it's efficient and easy and we can make a ton of food and have massive

surpluses through farming.

We'll get more food in an acre of crops than in an acre of roots and bushes and berries.

As the population of early humans started to spike, they needed a system where they

could mass produce as much food as possible, regardless of the consequences.

So, what do I think?

Was agriculture the worst mistake in the history of the human race?

Ehh, probably not.

Agriculture does allow to have the massive populations we have today.

It allows us to have cities and a global society.

To say that agriculture is nothing but terrible is an over exaggeration.

>> OFF-SCREEN: Yeah you know what over-exaggeration is called on YouTube?

Clickbait.

>> ALEX: No, nooo.

This isn't clickbait, this is different.

Somehow.

For better or for worse, our ancestors, thousands of years ago, made this decision, which got

us to where we are today, and it's important to look critically at decisions our ancestors

made so we can find out more about who we are as a species and reflect upon and investigate

the choices we made in our past.

While agriculture does allow us to gain many benefits, it doesn't come without costs,

those costs being stuff like health, malnutrition, some free time, and class division, and investigating

those costs I think is really interesting.

I first read this article almost 2 years ago now, at the beginning of my freshman year

at high school.

I read it for my history class, my teacher Dan, shoutout to him, he's a great guy,

assigned it, and it stuck with me every since.

The article, and I know this sounds kinda cliche, made me question everything.

When I learned something I perceived as just a fundamentally great stepping stone in humanities,

something I'd been taught in school all my life was the point when humanity actually

started getting good, had disadvantages as well, it encouraged me to look critically

as things we've just accepted as fact and never stop seeking truth.

It's this principle of sparking questions that draws me to Brilliant.org.

By looking critically at what I'm learning, I'm asking the questions to truly understand

these concepts.

For example, quick question: how do you think refrigerators work?

I always thought it just this magical box of cool that would just pump cold air into

it and keep all of my food happy, healthy, and strong.

However, I learned that it actually works not but pumping cold air in, nor by pumping

hot air out, but by pumping heat out.

I learned that from the physics of the everyday course on brilliant.org, the best place to

learn how to think like a scientist.

JAY-Z Joins Puma as President of Basketball Operations - Duration: 1:38.

For Complex News, I'm Pierce Simpson // After setting the world on fire by dropping a surprise

album with his living legend wife, Beyonce, Jay-Z, a legend in his own right, has provided

another surprise by becoming the new President of Basketball Operations for Puma.

The historic brand has re-launched their basketball line in incredible fashion by inking two potential

top-five picks in DeAndre Ayton and Marvin Bagley.

The two big men have been well regarded as some of the best prospects to enter the NBA

within the past decade and their talents will certainly keep all eyes on Puma during the

brand's re-launch.

Throughout his career, Jay-Z has been regarded as an exceptional businessman and this latest

venture just adds another trophy to his mantle.

For his role with Puma, Hov will oversee the selections to the Puma basketball roster as

well as assist in the art design and overall concept and direction of the brand.

Puma's Global director of brand and Marketing, Adam Petrick, told Complex:

"We've been working with Roc Nation for quite some time.

They've been great partners to us for several years.

We've done many different deals with many different ambassador.

When Puma approached him about this opportunity, JAY-Z felt it "was something he wanted to

be a part of."

Like Adam mentioned, Jay-Z and other members of Roc Nation have worked with Puma in the

past with Hov most recently having a collab to coincide with his 4:44 album and tour.

] "We're making a serious statement about the

entry of the category, that we want to be a performance brand, but then also very culturally

focused.

Rzecznik Małych i Średnich Przedsiębiorców.

Konstytucji Biznesu Mateusza Morawieckiego.  Kandydaturę Adama Abramowicza zaproponowała minister przedsiębiorczości i technologii Jadwiga Emilewicz

Poprzeć ją musi także pięć organizacji pracodawców: Związek Rzemiosła Polskiego, Pracodawcy Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej, Konfederacja "Lewiatan", Związek Pracodawców Business Centre Club i Związek Przedsiębiorców i Pracodawców

Zobacz: Rzecznik Małych i Średnich Przedsiębiorców.

Podstawą jest, by rzecznik miał styczność z przedsiębiorcami.

A MEDIOCRE FIERY MAKEUP TUTORIAL // TaiBug - Duration: 12:29.

Hi it's TaiBug

Today, I'll be doing a little makeup tutorial

um it'll be like a little fiery red kind of going with my outfit today

The first thing you want to do is you want to tie your hair back

Props, to you if you can do your makeup

with your hair everywhere

cuz I can't

So the first step in my makeup routine is I use the Milk makeup

cooling water and I just put that underneath my eye here. I have a

mirror right off camera so if you see me looking over that that's what i'm doing and then i just pat that in

After I do that I go in with my Fenty beauty

Pro filt'r soft matte primer

And just shake it up a little bit I don't know if you need to. I don't really wear a lot of face makeup

I usually just do on my problem spots

concealer. If you want to wear makeup all over your face, go for it

no, shame. I feel like you should, once you do you like do each step in your makeup you should just let it sit for a

little bit.

Don't know if that's correct. I feel like

You just need to learn what's good for you for your makeup. So for concealer i'm going with the tarte rainforest of the sea.

When I went in to get the tarte shape tape they weren't selling it at sephora anymore and they gave me this so like

okay

I'm not sure if this is my shade anymore cuz i've been going out in the sun a lot recently so i've been

tanning

And you're just gonna go with the damp beauty blender

and pat that in. I don't wear like heavy face makeup

it's very light, I just do it to cover up my problem areas

There's a little mountain on my- underneath my nose so i'm just gonna

cover that up.

I'm not by any means a beauty guru

But I feel like- hey if you do your makeup and you do a video about it- bam you're a beauty guru now

That's basically all I do for face makeup. And then i'll go in with my

tarte smooth operator

pressed powder

I'm gonna be honest with you this does have flash back

And i just like haven't gotten a chance to find anything else

And i'm going with a different beauty blender it's just dry. I feel like this does better and i don't know how to make

So i kind of just

wait for a second

and then i go in with a

powder brush from costco and just rub it in and wipe it off

The reason why i do this first

before my eye makeup like what you see a lot of beauty gurus do is because i

get everywhere when i'm rubbing it out

and if i had my eye makeup done that would ruin everything.

I'm gonna go in with my elf

something primer for the eyelids

use a mix of drugstore and

not drugstore makeup

that's it we're done. I'm just kidding

this would be an interesting making look. Now is the whole shebang

you're gonna go with your naked urban decay heat palette

this is like one of the only eyeshadow palettes i have

I'm an amateur at makeup, i'm a beginner at makeup. So i'm gonna go in with the sauced

Do that you're just gonna go in with the

low blow which is one shade up from that and you're just gonna put that in the out- outer corner just pat it it

We will go back in and blend that in a little bit this is like a tutorial

For if you're just starting to do your makeup and you don't really know what you're doing because

that is me i don't really know what i'm doing but this was a

Look i figured out how to do which

is like- i think- it's like a step up from just doing regular like one base eyeshadow

To starting to do a little bit more

And you're just gonna go and really gentle like

right parallel with your eye and

Just, in the corner and in the crease

and you're still with a low blow. I would see beauty girls doing one eye at a time

And i guess that's because they have so many brushes

and don't worry about going outside of the crease or like getting everywhere because

we're not pros

we go at our own speed

you're gonna go in with he-devil. This is like a reddish

rust color and

You're just gonna go in the outer corner and a little bit into the crease

i've heard that this makeup look as i call it a halo

we'll get more into that in just a second and you want to make sure you always have a light hand

like you're barely

Touching it because the brushes- the brush does everything for you i don't think the amount of time you spend doing your makeup

kind of changes

the quality of it it really just depends how good you are at your own makeup on top of that you're gonna go in with

cayenne and en fuego

These two you're gonna mix them and it's gonna be in the same place you did he devil

This one you're really just gonna stay more in the outer corner you're not really going to blend up into the crease as much

Oh, i got that in my eye

Beauty gurus are so good at doing their makeup sometimes because they never poke themselves in the eye

They must just do it so many times

maybe they cut it out

that's what it is

Right now it's looking a little bit rough, so i'm just gonna go in with a blending brush

from elf again

blending eye brush

and i'm going on the outside. I'm going a little bit heavier with this

because

I can.

bam

so now i have my NYX dewy finish and

We're gonna use this to get our brush a little bit wet. Now i'm gonna go into

Dirty talk, first i'm gonna go in with the dry brush and then i'm gonna spray it over

And then i just do like one spray

And then you just pat it to the part where you didn't really put anything that's called like the halo i think

she's the pop of a little sparkly color. And you're just patting it on you're not gonna swipe or anything

bam, and then i'm just gonna go in with my little blending brush again and i'm just gonna clean up the edges of where i've

had it and

dirty talk because you don't want it to be like shiny

shade

shiny shade. You want it to kind of blend all together

because that's like how you can tell if someone's doing their makeup well

clean up you're just gonna want to go with a q-tip and then i just get it wet

Above, and clean that up kind of so it's a sharper line you can do it where you'd like do it with the tape

but- I don't have time for that

And then after i do that i just go to a dry q-tip

To pat up where i did the cleanup because i am still working on that area

afterwards. so with a blending brush i'm just gonna go on the edges where i just cleaned up and

Kind of soften it a little bit. Now i'm gonna do my eyebrows

What i do is i just kind of

Swipe them up with my finger then i'm gonna go in with

Make, me brow by essence another drugstore company and you're just gonna go up and i always accidentally get a little

bit on top so i always wipe that off with my finger

And then i'm going with too face better

better than sex. I don't know why i forgot that name for a little bit

and you're gonna start at the base and kind of wiggle up and don't worry about messing up all part of the game

When i was in plays i didn't know how to do my own mascara so i always had to have someone help me

and then they taught me a trick where you just put it like as the base of your eyelashes or as close as you can

get and just blink. Sometimes i do my bottom lashes sometimes i don't i

I think when you do your bottom lashes it gets it more

that was like a Rhianna

tyra banks reference right there. and now i'm gonna go and do my lips i

Always go in first with my chapstick chapstick brand chapstick cuz you want your lips nice and moisturized. I only have one

lipliner so i call it my universal lip liner cause it's like a skin tone

lip tone. As you can tell i'm not very knowledgeable about makeup and all that

what can you do. I'm gonna be going in with the maybelline vivid matte liquid

and i'm really bad at applying lipstick, what else is new, so i have an ulta brush

that i'm gonna help with it

I just broke it

Oh well, I have another one

I like to have me- oh- I like to have my face moisturized

and my lips

and we're done just kidding

i'm, so sad

I don't really have nails if you have nails it's easier to clean it up but if you don't have nails you can use a q-tip

Or you can just leave it. I'm gonna go back in with the crease brush and

it still has a little bit of stuff on it but i'm gonna go in in

Cayenne and en fuego and go back into my naked heat palette and you're just gonna look up and you're just gonna get the bottom

lashline a little bit

I mean you don't have to look up because i didn't but doing this it kind of ties in

and then

you're gonna wanna take your hair down

and do your finishing spray

and that is the completed look

feel free to add take away do nothing i don't care i'm just showing you what i did and

I'm not gonna be doing that

montage

But that's the completed look and i'll see you guys next time bye

Know the red flags. Hildur tells her story. #redflags - Duration: 5:19.

My name is Hildur Ösp Þorsteinsdóttir

and I was in a violent relationship for almost 18 years.

The relationship included a lot of mental and physical abuse

where he was always in control.

Everything was done after what he wanted at any given moment.

There was a lot of drinking which only got worse with the year

and ended with daily drinking

for the last years.

Where he would

humiliate me

mentally every single day

and beat me a lot.

He was not violent to begin with

and was very nice, generous

fun, he could be a lot of fun.

But little by little

he started with these snaps of rage

where he would just blow off without me having any idea why.

My life completely revolved around him, to try to keep him happy and be as pleasing as possible.

Watch that I would do everything right so he would feel good,

there are a couple of memories that really haunt me

The first one is

when we lived in Barcelona for our first year

it started with some moodiness in the kitchen

where he started to tell me off

and he had started to beat me too

and I decided to run away

down to the next floor

with him and our kids behind me

and he really made the every punch count.

He punched me so hard in the ear that my ear bled.

After that I managed to run away

in the clothing xxxx where I tripped and fell on the floor

and I turned around and laid on my back there

and he kicked me so hard and beat me so much

around my stomach area and I remember laying there thinking

He must have googled it,

how to beat someone so they would get internal bleeding.

While I was contemplating that, my children were screaming:

"Stop beating mom, leave mom alone"

Another incident that I can't forget we were on a working trip in London.

We had just entered our hotel room

and he wanted sex and I refused him.

He got really angry about that and then sat on on top of me and grabbed my throat

and slowly I felt my breathing gradually stopping.

Then I started thinking about my kids.

There was something that happened inside of me and I managed to

grab

my knees, get me knees up to my

chest area and kick him off me with my knees

I was so afraid that I called for help

to the lobby but when an employee came

he stood with his fist up in the air behind the door

and I was so afraid that I said I didn't need any help.

Still to this day

I can feel

feel pain from that beating.

The third instance was

we just got home from New York

and he had been drinking all the way home

and we got home around 6 or 7am

and he wanted to keep the party going

so he went straight in and turned music on.

But when I said this was not an option and turned the music down

then hey ran to the kitchen and came back

holding a large knife

and ran after me throughout the hallway and he was trying

to stab me.

But something happened in his head

when he saw the panicking faces of our girls

that still stood in the lobby in their jackets

and

had just got in.

But this incident really weighs hard on me and my girls

I should have seen the red flags very early in our relationship

about the drinking

That usually ended badly with verbal abuse.

and

after those nights I usually felt really bad.

When my oldest girl was 7 years old

then there had been violence and she told me eye to eye

and begged me to leave her dad.

She said word for word:

"Life will be so much better mom, if its just us"

But I was to afraid to leave

It was extremely hard

to

hear her say this

at the same time I wanted so badly to leave.

But I was so afraid of him

and all of his threats that I didn't make it happen until 8 years later.

8 years that only got worse and worse

for mental and physical abuse.

Don't be afraid of what will happen when you leave a violent relationship
