Scribble - Scratching in A Dancing Way - Chinese with English Subtitles - DJ 刷碟教學 EP03 - Duration: 10:09.

Hey! This is Scratching in A Dancing Way.

As I mentioned before,

this video will talk about how to scratch in a dancing way.

In terms of scratching in a dancing way,

I'm gonna tell you a technique that dancers could easily make it.

Plus, it'll sound cool.

If you are a street dancer or

know something about street dance,

you probably know the dance style, Popping.

Okay, what's the basic technique of Popping?

It's Pop.

Like this!

So, how to scratch by using this technique?

If you understand what Poping is,

you will know another basic technique, Fresno.

It looks like this.

How to scratch by using Fresno (Pop)?

If you watch the act of Fresno,

you can see that there're two sorts of ways the dancers pop.

One is to pop downwards.

This movement is like the way to ride a moped.

The other one is to pop upwards.

As Fresno,

poping upwards and then downwards

poping upwards and then downwards

All right, same as scratching

using your record hand to pop downwards or upwards

So, what it looks like?

Check it out!

Find the Ahhhhhh first

When you pop on the record, it'll be like this.

You can pop either upwards or downwards.

Watch carefully

Now it's popping downwards.

This time is popping upwards.

So, this is scratching by popping.

You can combine this technique with other ones

such as Baby Scratch

Got it?

This scratch technique called Scribble,

which means to write carelessly

as a result,

there's no rule that how many times you have to shake back and forwards.

You just need to follow the beats.

stop shaking on beats

or change to do another technique on beats

Thus, this is a special technique with no strict rule.

Literally, keeping it on beats is the first concern.

Greek lesson: Learn how to use the Greek verb ''παθαίνω'' - Duration: 2:40.

Hello and welcome this lesson. This week we will answer a question from our student Alice.

As I told you many times, send us your questions and we will respond as soon as possible with a video lesson.

Alice asked us how to use the word "παθαίνω" and because that is one word

which is used extensively in Greece, I decided to make a video lesson to explain your use.

The verb "παθαίνω" is widely used in expressions and refers generally to something bad / negative that can happen to someone or something.

The most common question in which this verb is used is "Τι έπαθες;".

When do we make this question you think?

We ask this question when someone does not seem to be well or when it shows that it hurts etc. Then we ask him ''τι έπαθες;''

For example, someone says, "πόπο, τι θα κάνω τώρα;". And you, who are next to him say, "τι έπαθες; μπορώ να βοηθήσω;"

This verb is also used in mechanical problems.

For example, when your TV does not work, you can say "τι έπαθε τώρα η τηλεόραση;"

The same with the car. When does not start.

Finally, there are some expressions with this verb as ''είδα και έπαθα" which means I tried a lot.

For example, we say, "Είδα κι έπαθα να τον πείσω να έρθει στο πάρτι."

Also, one can say "καλά να πάθει" by expressing its joy in something that someone else has suffered.

For example, when someone tells you "ο Κώστας έχασε όλα του τα λεφτά στον τζόγο"

then you can say "καλά να πάθει, όταν του έλεγα εγώ να μην παίζει δεν με άκουγε".
