Drag Queen Styles Queer Teen For Prom - Duration: 5:37.

- Favorite cereal?

- My favorite cereal is Frosted Flakes,

and then Captain Crunch immediately after.

(upbeat music)

- So my name is Jan Sport, just like the backpack.

I am a drag queen here in New York City.

People know me as the crazy girl who

loves to sing and loves to have a good time

so that's what I do.

So today, we are styling Jordan.

He's 18 years old.

He's from New York, and he loves musical theater.

And he has a really cool fashion sense.

He'd like some style, bold colors, bright patterns,

all of those things.

So I'm a drag queen, and I'm living my life

so authentically that I literally am like,

"Okay, I'm gonna be a woman most of the times at night."

So I just wanna try to share some light

and some love with a teen who is coming out,

and they're finding their way in the world,

and just kind of be a guiding footstep.

And you know, if we happen to give some style tips

on the way, so be it.

Let's bring in the teen!

Hi, Jordan!

How are you?

- [Jordan] I'm good.

How are you? - I'm wonderful.

So nice to meet you.

- [Jordan] You too.

- Are you excited? - Yes, I am.

- So, Jordan, tell me more about yourself.

- I go to Riverdale Country School in the Bronx,

and I really hope to continue doing theater.

I do a lot of theater in school.

When I get older, I really want to be a singer.

I loves singing.

- Ah, me too.

Jordan, we're gonna get along just fine.

Jordan, what is your typical style?

What do you wear on a day-to-day basis?

And what are you looking to do for prom?

- I wear a lot of flowers, a lot of floral stuff.

I don't really know what kind of look I'm going for.

- We're gonna turn you out.

It's gonna be great.

We're gonna make sure that you are confident at prom

and that you look your best and that you feel your best.

Oh, my gosh, to be 18 years old again and have great skin.

So, Jordan, have you ever worn makeup before?

- I have worn makeup before.

- [Jan] Tell me more about that.

- Once I was at my friend's house,

and they really wanted to put me in a full face of makeup.

And I was like, "Go for it."

I came out in seventh grade.

I came out as bisexual.

I was still really afraid of what people would think.

Two years ago, I came out as gay

because I was like, "I think it's finally time

"that I be true to myself and have everyone else know

"my full story."

- So how I got into drag was I would find myself

going to the Sephora, and I would go pick up some makeup.

And my friends were like, "You know, I've seen that

"you were doing makeup.

"You should try to do a Kris Jenner impersonation."

And out of nowhere, I kind of just started to do drag.

If you just like playing around with makeup,

and like, Jordan, if you're ever like,

"I'm bored on a Saturday night."

Put on some makeup and try new things.

That's the most fun part about makeup.

It's like never wrong.

It's just finding what's right for you.

This whole look is gonna be fantastic when it's done.

I can see it now.

What's the thing that you're

looking forward to most about prom?

- I'm looking forward to just having a really nice time

and just getting to dance with all my friends

and celebrate the school year being over.

- This is just gonna add that final "Whoo, Jordan!"

You know what I mean?

Like people are gonna be like, "His lid, baby!"

I think that we're going to do a red lip today.

Be bold and beautiful.

What's your favorite cereal?

Do you like cereal?

- I love cereal.

- We get each other on a deep, deep level.

Favorite cereal?

- My favorite cereal is Frosted Flakes,

and then Captain Crunch immediately after.

- All righty, y'all.

I think that this is the finished look.

All right, let's get into clothes!

Now the inspiration that I had for this look,

I was looking at the Met Gala that recently happened,

and I really, really loved Troye Sivan's outfit.

It was nice and red.

And when I found out that Jordan loved red,

I immediately thought of that look.

Jordan, are you ready?

- [Jordan] Yes, I am.

- Okay, here you go.

I'm gonna hand you back these pants.

I'm gonna hand you this shirt, the vest, and the jacket

all right here.

Bam.

We are ready to go.

Do you think that this is gonna be a look to end all looks?

- [Jordan] I think so.

- All righty, Jordan, are you ready?

- [Jordan] Yes, I am.

- The final look, here we go.

Come on out, Jordan!

Yes!

Oh, my God!

I love it!

This red is everything!

How do you feel?

- I feel amazing.

- Oh, my gosh.

He doesn't even know what he looks like yet, everybody.

I'm so excited for you to look in the mirror

and get a look at what you look like.

Three, two, one!

- Oh, my God!

I love this so much.

- Jordan's ready to go to prom.

We are so excited.

I just wanna say I am so thrilled that we have teenagers

who are out there living their authentic lives

each and every day as queer individuals

who are able to go to prom being themselves.

So thank you so much for everything.

- Thank you.

- [Jan] Yeah, you're very welcome.

I'm happy that I can help you and be a part of this.

- I really love this jacket.

Like I said, red is my favorite color

so the jacket and pants are definitely my favorites.

And the shirt with the little red right here,

I love it so much.

I love glitter.

- [Jan] It's a drag queen secret.

Well, Jordan, have so much fun.

- Thank you so much.

- Thank you so much for being here today.

I'm so glad that we got to do this together.

This boy is going to work prom.

It's going to be absolutely amazing.

I can't wait to hear all about it.

- I'd never really, in this context,

gone into a full face of makeup.

Like I said, I did it for a show which was

a really different experience from this.

Both made me feel really confident

which I really love and just made me feel

generally better about myself.

I feel totally ready for prom.

We Mastered That Shiny Dirt Ball - Duration: 7:28.

- All right, guys, so my jobs here

is to basically make a bunch of viral videos,

and I'm trying to come up with a video idea.

Recently, Sarah, right over there--

- What? - She shined foil.

And it got like seven million views, it was insane.

So, I've been doing some research,

and I found that people have

been making dirt balls for awhile.

They've been shining dirt, it looks pretty cool,

so let's go shine some balls.

(playful music)

This video shouldn't be too hard,

because basically, I mean, all I need is dirt.

Let's go get some dirt.

(playful music) (car horns beeping)

I don't know where to find dirt in New York.

Got dirt, I found dirt, I found dirt.

Ow, this dirt is more like cement, so.

Damn it!

I got an idea, we're gonna go to Central Park.

They've got a lot of dirt there.

(heroic music) Why are you spinning?

You can't just spin around, you gotta spin around me.

So, before I go to Central Park,

I need to get some stuff from a hardware store.

I'm gonna get a shovel and a bucket for my dirt.

We got a bucket, got my shovel.

And some sandpaper, so I can polish my dirty balls.

What (laughs)?

And some sandpaper so I can polish my balls.

(laughs) No.

Some sandpaper so that I can sand my--

Not sand.

And some sandpaper so I can polish my dirty--

I seriously can't say it.

You think they have something that I could buy,

like an outfit, so I don't get my clothes dirty.

(adventurous music)

Okay, so I made it to Central Park.

Coming to get some dirt.

(playful music)

Oh, my God, it's so hot in this.

(playful music)

All right, so I got all my dirt.

Time to go back to the office, and make these dirt balls.

(playful music)

All right, welcome to my kitchen.

This is where we're gonna be polishing the dirt balls.

It's gonna be super simple.

I got my bowl and a little bit of dirt.

And then, I'm gonna add a little bit of water,

so I can turn it into a ball.

And then, I'm gonna sandpaper it,

so that it can become shiny, let's do it.

It feels pretty dry, it's like kind of flaking on me.

So, I'm gonna add a little bit of water.

Make sure the water's nice and like, a little bit cold.

(chuckles) I'm just making this up as I go.

You're gonna pour it in there.

Nice like you're just watering plants, super easy.

My advice was eyeball the water.

I already poured way too much water,

because well.

Wow, okay, okay, so it's too wet,

I'm gonna add some more dirt to it.

There we go, now it feels good.

Right now, this ball's a little bit too wet.

So, I'm gonna dry it, we're gonna put it in the microwave,

and it should be good.

All right, where's the microwave?

Where are the microwaves?

I'm just eyeballing this,

I don't really know what I'm doing.

But it's a dirt ball, how hard can it be?

(microwave whirring)

Dude, it's actually really hot.

Have you ever felt hot dirt before?

(laughs)

It's steaming.

Okay, so here is the dried dirt ball.

It actually looks pretty good.

But it still needs to get sanded.

I got all the liquid out of it,

but I need it to get shiny.

Sarah really, really sanded that tin foil ball.

(heroic music)

I'm just gonna sand it real hard, ready?

(sandpaper scraping)

(melancholy music)

I have no idea what I'm doing and I don't know

how I'm gonna finish this video (chuckles).

(melancholy music)

Okay, so the video's on the AARP YouTube page.

Let's check it out.

- [Man] You don't wanna have too much water, obviously.

We're gonna shoot for a cake batter consistency.

Not too dry, not too wet.

Gently sprinkle some of this dirt over.

The curve of your thumb here

is a good surface to kind of drag along the surface.

- Okay, all right, I get it.

We're gonna have to go back to the store (chuckles).

I need something to sift the dirt with.

So, I found this window screen.

And it has double sifting.

And last but not least, got the basin.

First thing you have to do is sift the dirt.

I'm not gonna pretend I know why you have to,

but you just have to sift the dirt, so let's do that.

I'm actually having a good time,

just rubbing dirt (laughs).

Dude, there's a worm, there's a fricking worm, look.

It's a dead worm.

Now I kind of don't wanna sift anymore.

So, I'm gonna check right now how much dirt I've sifted,

and if I need to keep sifting.

(chuckles) That's a lot of like--

Look how pretty that looks, it looks like sand.

Half of the dirt is gonna be used to make the ball.

And the other half of the dirt is gonna be dry dirt

that you just sprinkle on the top.

And you make that the outer layer so it's strong.

Right now, this looks pretty good, right?

He said you wanna get all the air out of the ball.

So, right now, what you're doing

is you're just kind of compressing it.

Just like the tin foil ball, you just kind of compress.

This is what it's looking like right now.

It feels pretty heavy, pretty dense.

The next step was to just sprinkle dirt

and rub it in with your thumbs all around.

And they said that they spent

a little bit of time doing that.

It's really gotta be dry for this part.

The only thing I'm worried about

is this dirt was a little bit wet

because it rained in New York yesterday.

And the video we watched,

the guy uses purely dry, dry dirt.

Like, it flakes onto the ball.

I'm gonna leave this outside, so that it can dry.

I'm gonna try again with dry dirt.

So, I'll see you guys in over 24 hours.

All right, so it's been over 24 hours.

I'm gonna go outside,

and check on the dirt, see if it's dry.

Oh, wow, whoa.

Okay, so the dirt looks like sand now.

It looks nothing like it did yesterday.

We're gonna do steps two and three again.

So, first, you take a little bit of it

and you pour it on the ball.

And then, you rub it in with your hands.

This is a very different sensation

because now I feel like I'm creating a new layer.

And so, you're gonna have to do this for awhile.

It's not like you spread a little bit on the ball

and then, you move on.

You probably have to spend, what?

Like, 20, 30 minutes just rubbing it in,

creating this layer.

And I think I'm gonna go onto the final step now,

which is just rubbing my hand in the dirt.

Just getting some like, dust residue.

And then, tapping it on the ball.

I think what it does is just kind of

fills in the holes, any tiny little holes,

all the particles will just settle in.

Okay, we got some shoe polish cloth,

and I'm gonna see what happens

if I rub it with shoe polish cloth.

And then, when you reveal it,

when you take the cloth off, it should be super shiny.

(chuckles) Does that look shiny?

(upbeat music)

That's disgust--

- Is that an avocado?

- It's a dirt ball, I made this out of dirt.

- Wow, it looks so clean.

- I love it, is this really dirt?

- [Eric] Yeah (chuckles).

- It smells like Central Park.

- Does it really? - No.

- I would sell it for like, $300.

If you wanna buy it for $300,

I'll also throw in this shirt, I'll cut a piece of my hair,

and lifetime guarantee if you call right now.

It's only three payments 9.99, wait, that's not enough.

Three payments of 99.99, that's hard to say.

99.99 (laughs) 99.99.

I took dirt and I turned it

into something shiny and incredible.

And that means you can just take

anything in this world and make it beautiful.

That's dirt. (gentle music)

No, no (laughs).

(fun music)

Sphinx, the Riddler? - Greek Mythology - Duration: 1:29.

Sphinx (Σφίγξ) spinx

When you hear of the sphinx the first image in your head would probably be the one in

egypt with the broken nose.

Well, yes that is definitely a sphinx but let me tell you about the Greek version of

the sphinx.

The sphinx is a monster with the head and sometimes torso of a woman, the body of a

lioness, the wings of an eagle and has a serpent-headed tail.

There's a few stories of what the sphinx does but what is common is that it happened in

the Greek city of Thebes and she would ask people who comes across her to solve a riddle.

Those who couldn't answer the riddle correctly would be devoured or killed by her.

Early stories of the sphinx never told what her riddle was but in later stories, there's

one riddle that became so well known everyone knows the answer to it.

The riddle goes something like this:

"What is the creature that walks on four legs in the morning, two legs at noon and three

in the evening??"

The famous answer would be "Humans" because humans crawled on all fours as a baby, walked

on two feet as an adult and walks with a walking stick in old age.

But thinking about it, that could have been wrong.

I mean humans literally do start from zero from not being able to walk and there's no

guarantee you'll need a walking stick in old age.

So what do you think would be the real answer?

Talking to Kids about Pride Month | Jessi Cruickshank - Duration: 2:45.

Happy Pride everybody!

[ALL] Happy Pride!

Who here knows what gay pride means?

It means where all the gay people, transgender, lesbian

and bisexual people gather up and celebrate.

That's absolutely right.

It's the celebration of

sexual diversity.

So I'm not gay, but I'm a gay ally.

Are you gay allies?

Definitely.

Great answer.

What does it mean to 'come out of the closet'?

When you come out of the closet

it means, when you're playing hide and seek

and you're hiding in the closet, and then someone

finds you, and then you have to come out of the closet

and you have to be 'it'.

Makes sense.

What do you think about gay marriage?

I just think it's normal marriage.

Right.

My auntie I know that she's gay.

She hasn't married yet, and I'm just wondering

if I'm going to be her flower girl.

And you know what, when you find out that your

auntie is going to marry a woman

and your number one concern is if you're going

to be the flower girl, you have your priorities straight.

Do you think it would be cool to have two moms?

Yes.

I think that the house is full of girls, and there are no boys

in sight.

Yeah.

I don't have to flush the toilet for the boys.

SO many advantages.

What would it be like to have two dads?

It would be crazy, it depends how their personality is

If they are party animals, it would obviously be crazy.

Any parent who is a party animal, would be crazy.

Yeah.

Can you name any gay celebrities?

Ellen DeGeneres.

Uh huh.

What about Neil Patrick Harris?

Who is that?

Do we know Ricky Martin?

No.

Ricky Martin is a singer and now he's a gay icon.

A gay icon is someone who is revered by

the gay community.

Lady Gaga?

Yes!

Anderson Cooper?

I might have heard of him.

Jodie Foster?

I've heard of him, I cross my fingers I'm not lying.

Oh, Jodie Foster is a woman and she made me

question my sexuality when I was a child because

I liked her so much.

Oh.

And she was nude in the film "Nell".

Not that I remember watching it several times as a child.

Wow.

Guys I'm so impressed with you!

Remember: what are we to the gay community?

We are...

Gay icons.

Sure.

I'm an ally, maybe I could be an icon.

I mean everybody should aspire to grow up

and be a gay icon.

That's what pride day is all about.

You're right!

See you at pride everybody!

UPDATING YOU GUYS WITHOUT TELLING YOU TOO MUCH|MY WEIGHT LOSS JOURNEY - Duration: 5:24.

hey guys um I have something that I'm going to be doing for the next few days

I'm not going to share with you quite yet what it is because when I was doing

my juice fast slash feast I I didn't enjoy it the way I wanted to because I

always had to and this is the way I had set my channel up to do I did an update

video every single day and I had consumed a lot of that time in worrying

about update video update video update video um in this case I'm going to do an

update video I don't know how long I'm going to be on this regiment that I just

started that's why I'm not even going to talk about what it is that I'm doing

because like I said that's part of the days that I'm gonna be on this it's like

a retreat I'm going to be doing a lot of resting a lot of reading a lot of

looking at videos on this topic and I'm going to if it is a social media you

know situation with me it's not going to be me looking at mukbangs

which are my favorite thing to watch as month bangs me right now I have to put

that aside because I don't want those temptations to derail me because I love

food and I'm human I mean you guys see the side of me when I'm talking about

healing and juice feasting and fasting and detoxing and all that but I'm just

like you guys I'm no different I have a passion for food that is what I

definitely can say for sure I have an addiction for not a bad thing to have an

addiction for I guess if you're not overweight and it's not affecting you

health-wise but it's i defected me help wise and I'm not

overweight anymore but history can repeat itself so I'm trying to get a

handle on things so for the next couple of days yes you will be seeing videos I

have content for days to come that I can release so that you guys can

hear about topics that I have in my collection to share with you guys so can

help you on your journey to whatever you're trying to do in your life to make

your life a more healthy in you know better environment to be in

so um yes there is something that I'm in I'm doing as of today and I will be

doing update videos don't know when I'm gonna release them but they're going to

be update videos that I will do at my own leisure

I also want to let you guys know that you I should have probably said this at

the beginning of the video but I got a few more videos that go up today or

basically that I have to do today so I will say that at the beginning of the

next video but a lot of my videos are going to be going up at 2:00 p.m.

Eastern Standard Time because I look at my analystics every single day and I

think the best time for me supposed my videos are in the afternoon

rather than the eight and Eastern Standard Time because I noticed I get

more traffic around 2:00 p.m. the traffic that looks at the kind of

content that I make so if you are worrying about well I don't see a video

in the morning time that's because for now as the analyst exchange so will when

I publish my videos that will change as well but for now it's at 2:00 p.m.

Eastern Standard Time and as it changes if I remember I will let

you know update you Nvidia that I'm doing that okay it's been changed

because I looked at my analystics and now it's better for me to you know post

my videos at this time because I'm noticing that the traffic comes to my

channel to look at my videos at this time but for now it could be for two

days it could be for a week it could be for a month it could be for a year could

be for a lifetime it's going to be 2:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time look out for

my videos I always have a video up and I just want to let you guys know that I

wanna make this video too long we're getting at the 5 minute mark and I like

to make my videos as short as possible so whatever the topic is that I'm

talking about you guys can get the message and apply it and keep it moving

with your day so with that all being said please subscribe to the channel

like and share this video make it a favorite and I'll see you guys in the

next video

How to sell bracelets with Morse code on Etsy - Duration: 2:46.

How to turn stale products from beads to fashion

in-demand jewelry?

Idea for needlewomen owning beads, but not able to sell

products from it.

As you know, beads today not in fashion.

Therefore, needlewomen, braiding fenechki and others

beadwork, not easy.

But if you remember that people are looking for their future purchase

not according to the material from which it is made, but in the image

or purpose, they will sell much

easier.

Forget about obsolete names such as "Bracelet

from beads "or" Blue (green, pink, red ...) bracelet. "

This people already ate and buy bad.

Today it's fashionable to buy bracelets with Morse code

- "Morse code bracelet".

Trend growing, competition low

To make such a bracelet is elementary.

Take the string (thread) and beads are threaded on it

or in the form of beads of different color (one color means

point, the other - a dash), or it's beads of different shapes:

round beads (personifies points) and oblong

beads (denotes a dash).

And brace your bracelets in a variety of options

(as you want and as you want your buyer).

To create such bracelets, I think, even experience is not needed.

Rather, we need English the Morse code.

And you need a quickness.

While you are pondering, other needlewomen already

will saddle this niche.

All the information given in the note images of bracelets

of beads - these are photos products, which on Etsy successfully

are sold (so you can take an example from them).
