If you were only going have one attachment on your weapons what should it be.

Now, you might believe that the best attachment for your weapon is an extended clip or something

else of that nature.

However, in my eyes, the extended clip is good for fights but is not necessary because

you can only have the max amount of ammo for a gun no matter what.

I believe that the best attachment for your weapon is the suppressor because you have

less recoil which in turns means that you can aim more accurately.

The suppressor also helps in stealth missions or moments when you need to kill a target

and you don't want to alert guards around them.

However, there is a downside to this which is that according to testing from other people,

reduces the damage of the weapon.

However, you are trading accurately for damage so it really depends on what you want.

I would personally trade in damage for accurately because if you are using a semi or full auto

weapon, the damage doesn't make that much of a difference.

But anyways I hope you guys enjoyed this video so like it if you like it, dislike if you

dislike, and subscribe if you want.

My name been Sky and I hope to catch you in the next video.

Bye!!!!!!!!!

Intellivision REVIVAL, Roblox LESSONS & MORE?! - Industry Developments - Duration: 6:57.

From Intellivision making a console comeback to Roblox entering the education scene, , we

have the latest headlines from across the game industry.

so let's load 'em up and dive right in!

Why pay employees when you can have volunteers do the work for prizes?

According to a report by Polygon with backing from two affected individuals, it seems Microsoft

laid off about twelve of its support team members earlier last month and effectively

replaced them with Xbox Ambassadors: community members who volunteer to help manage the Xbox

brand in their freetime.

To add insult to injury, some of the folks who were let go had been tasked with training

their unpaid replacements before being kicked out of the company.

Xbox Ambassadors interface with customer and field their inquiries through the @XboxSupport

handle on Twitter, and through a dedicated online chat tool, where they're rewarded

for their efforts through gamification, like leaderboards that dole out experience, missions

and sweepstakes!

It should be noted that Microsoft has still kept a small team on payroll to manage said

volunteers, but it's still unfortunate to see paid people being replaced by players.

But if you have some free time on your hands and want to level up, we're sure Microsoft

would love to let you play as a support!

Mark your calendars for October first, ladies and gentlemen.

It looks like a new console is coming to disrupt the industry and it'll be falling under

the classic Intellivision brand!

The company relaunched under the title of Intellivision Entertainment, and is headed

up by president Tommy Tallarico: one of the original personalities from Reviews on the

Run and Electric Playground, and a notable composer and advocate in the video game music

scene.

There may not be any details available regarding the system at this time, but you can sign

up for updates, and listen to their live Q&A from earlier in the week on their official

Facebook page.

During their stream, Tommy claimed that there's no individual group in their ecosystem that's

more important than any other, following up to suggest we forget about hardware specs

and target demographics.

In his own words, "At the end of the day, the system is going to live or die by the

amazing games it has available on day one."

It seems like quite the gamble in today's metrics-led market, but we hope their angle

helps set precedence in the future and doesn't face the same fate as the Ouya!

The United States has another record under their belt.

According to a survey conducted by the fine folks at Superdata on behalf of PayPal, nearly

half of women and a quarter of men who stream games online in the country aren't paid

for it.

Male streamers seem to be performing better than in other nations, with the global average

being at thirty-eight percent relative to America's twenty-four, but there's a gender

gap with women who see forty-three percent globally and forty-eight percent domestically.

What makes these numbers stand out is that they're not reflective of the value streaming

brings to the industry.

Superdata reports that many consumers have been turning away from written reviews, and

are looking to friends, family, streamers and esports stars to inform their purchasing

decisions.

The States saw this as a shift from sixteen percent to twenty-one percent between twenty-sixteen

and today, while Japan saw the most striking results: observing a drop from forty-six percent

a meager sixteen.

If there's anything for developers to take away from this, it's that the written word

isn't moving units like before, so consider leveraging streams where possible.

And definitely offer those folks free copies.

A lot of them aren't turning a profit promoting for you!

It looks like a Battle Royale is about to be staged in the courtrooms.

PUBG Corp. has filed a lawsuit against Epic Games on the grounds of plagiarism regarding

similarities between PUBG and Fortnite.

The Korea Times reported on the legal move, stating that a spokesperson for the aggressor

filed an injunction in the country back in January.

For those following the two companies, this shouldn't come as too much of a surprise,

since PUBG Corp. has taken issue with Epic Games ever since they launched a Battle Royale

mode in Fortnite.

What makes this case interesting, though, is that PUBG is developed with Unreal Engine

4: an engine licensed by the very company their taking action against.

And considering the formula their suing over found its footing with multiplayer mods predating

both titles, it doesn't seem like PUBG Corp. has a leg to stand on in this case.

But what do we know?

We're not lawyers!

It looks like Goldman Sachs is getting into Voodoo.

The private equity firm has taken an interest in the French mobile developer, and has invested

two-hundred million into it.

Voodoo claims this partnership will help accelerate their global expansion in what they call their

"phase of hypergrowth."

Their portfolio of games boasts a hundred and fifty million active monthly users, and

the company has seen three-hundred million downloads last year, so it's not hard to

see why Goldman Sachs took an interest in them.

The terms of the investment weren't publicly disclosed, but the company's co-founders

confirmed that they'll still maintain majority control of Voodoo going forward.

They also mentioned that their challenge now is to bring in engineers and managers with

artistic skills and sensibility.

At the moment, they operate solely out of France, but they're considering to open

a sales team overseas in the States to bolster their relationship with Apple and Google.

So if you're in the marketing department at your company and want to change things

up, keep an eye out for when that division makes its way over!

It's common knowledge that mobile gaming continues to dominate much of the industry,

but market intelligence firm App Annie did some digging to see how it's grown over

the last decade on Apple's App Store, and the results won't surprise you!

According to their findings, games account for seventy-five percent of spending on the

platform, although it only makes up thirty-one percent of downloads.

iOS games raked in 31.8 billion dollars in 2017, and accounted for only 9.4 billion of

the year's worldwide downloads of 3.5 billion.

In general, the App Store has seen a steady decline in its market share for downloads,

dropping over twenty percent from its height of fifty-four percent in twenty-twelve, but

in spite of that, it still holds a higher share of spending from consumers relative

to Google Play.

So if you're launching your next mobile game on iOS, the numbers say you may not get

as many downloads, but you might spot a few more whales in that ocean of content!

It looks like there's another contender in the educational software market.

Roblox Studio is launching a free curriculum within its platform, targeting children aged

ten and up.

Dubbed Roblox Education, it'll include tutorials, lesson guides and handouts, and they're

getting it into the hands of a variety of classrooms, coding camps and after-school

programs for this summer's sessions.

Koding Kingdom, Code Ninjas, Coda Kid: there's upwards of five-hundred different groups that'll

have access to the tools, and more will no doubt follow suit in the future.

Science, technology, engineering and mathematics have always been a staple of the studio's

software, and they feel like Roblox Education is the right direction for them.

Through this initiative, they hope to help teach kids real coding, game design, digital

citizenship and entrepreneurial skills.

Now that's a goal I'm sure we can all get behind!

GameStop has found itself another temporary CEO.

Former Microsoft Executive Shane Kim will be holding the position as their hunt for

a permanent replacement continues.

Shane has been on the board of directors for the company for seven years so far, and worked

at Microsoft for nineteen, where he was involved with the original Xbox and 360 platforms before

he left in 2010.

Although this marks the fourth change in leadership since November twenty-seventeen, Shane seems

like he'll be an effective and stable representative for the company until their next CEO can be

named.

With his extensive experience in the industry, he'll be adding a lot of value to the company,

if not only for the short-term!

And that covers this week's lineup, ladies and gentlemen.

Was there anything you found particularly insightful?

Did we miss something you think should've been covered?

Let us know in the comments below and be sure to tune in next time for another newsworthy

breakdown!

This Is Where You've Seen The Cast Of Riverdale Before - Duration: 9:42.

A dark take on the Archie comics, CW's Riverdale helped launch the careers of a number of new

stars when it debuted in early 2017.

It's also provided a new home for some big-name talent who've largely disappeared from Hollywood.

From the show's central cast of angsty teens to its supporting 90s heartthrobs and heathens,

these actors have been collectively racking up credits for a while now, and some of their

former projects just might surprise you.

Here's why the cast of Riverdale looks so familiar.

KJ Apa

Riverdale's resident ginger pretty boy Archie Andrews might seem like the all-American type

— but he's actually portrayed by dark-haired, New Zealand-born KJ Apa.

Pretty crazy, huh?

Apa got his start in his home country on the soap opera Shortland Street, appearing in

46 of the show's thousands of episodes as the angsty teen Kane Jenkins.

Apa also briefly appeared in the New Zealand sci-fi series The Cul De Sac before landing

a part as a young Dennis Quaid in the controversial film A Dog's Purpose.

Lili Reinhart

Lili Reinhart, who plays Betty, Riverdale's token ponytailed blonde, got her start in

acting in the drama short For Today in 2010.

Following an appearance on Law and Order: SVU, she returned to film as the title character

in the horror flick Lilith and the 2012 drama short The Most Girl Part of You.

2013 was a huge year for her: She starred in The Kings of Summer, the baseball mystery

Gibsonburg, and the thriller Forever's End.

In 2014, Reinhart snagged a recurring role on the Fox mid-season comedy Surviving Jack,

which was canceled after one season.

Then came Riverdale in 2017, and the rest is history.

Cole Sprouse

Child actor Cole Sprouse was probably the most famous of Riverdale's young actors when

he was cast as Archie's BFF Jughead.

Sprouse said he was drawn to Jughead because he was so different from his well-known Disney

Channel character, Cody Martin, whom he'd played for eight years in The Suite Life of

Zack and Cody and its spin-off The Suite Life on Deck.

Sprouse already had a lot of acting experience when he signed on to the Suite Life universe.

The Sprouse twins started acting in 1993 when they were just 1-year-olds in Chuck Lorre's

Grace Under Fire.

The Sprouse twins also appeared in the Adam Sandler film Big Daddy.

"Kangaroo song!"

"Kangaroo song!"

"Kangaroo song!"

"Kangaroo song!"

"ALRIIIIIIGHT!"

Meanwhile, Cole — without his brother — struck TV gold when he played Ross' son Ben on iconic

sitcom Friends.

Camila Mendes

Newcomer Camila Mendes was the least experienced of Riverdale's teens when she signed on to

play the socialite Veronica Lodge — but she's quickly proven her acting prowess.

Mendes graduated from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts in May of 2016, just a few months

after she landed the part of Veronica.

Her only other previous acting credit was in a commercial for IKEA.

Although Mendes might not be recognizable from her time before the show, she's blown

up since season one kicked off, even nabbing more than 1 million followers on Twitter and

7 million followers on Instagram.

That's what we call a success story!

Casey Cott

Casey Cott plays Betty's BFF Kevin on Riverdale, and while he seems right at home on the small

screen, most of Cott's pre-Riverdale experience came in local theater.

Cott's on-screen acting experience was pretty limited before Riverdale — he appeared in

an episode of Law and Order: SVU and starred in the music video for Sabrina Carpenter's

"Why."

Cott must've really wanted a part on Riverdale when the show came around, auditioning for

Archie and Jughead before landing the role of Kevin.

Madelaine Petsch

The red-headed Madelaine Petsch was actually auditioning for a role on an entirely different

series when she landed the now-iconic part of Cheryl Blossom on Riverdale.

Petsch, who says she caught the performing bug at the age of three, was meeting with

casting director David Rappaport for The CW series Legends of Tomorrow when he pinned

her for Cheryl.

Although she was still fairly new to acting at the time, Petsch had still boasted appearances

in the Nickelodeon series Instant Mom and the fantasy flick The Curse of Sleeping Beauty.

Plus, she played a key role in a national Coca-Cola billboard advertising campaign in

the summer of 2014.

Ashleigh Murray

Ashleigh Murray never ceases to steal a scene — so it's pretty shocking to hear how little

experience the talented actress had before landing the role of Pussycats bandleader Josie.

Murray's few credits before Riverdale include bit parts in episodes of The Following and

Younger as well as roles in the shorts Finding Harmony, Welcome to New York, and Grind.

Success came quickly for Murray after she landed her role on Riverdale with a leading

role in the Sundance Film Festival breakout Deidra and Laney Rob a Train in early 2017.

Luke Perry

Former teen hunk Luke Perry already had a lot of experience on teen shows when he signed

on to appear as Archie's dad Fred on Riverdale, starring on the wildly popular Beverly Hills,

90210 for nine years.

During his time on 90210, Perry also made the rounds in film and television, appearing

in the movie version of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and starring in other flicks like The

Fifth Element and 8 Seconds.

He also made guest appearances on an extensive list of shows like Will and Grace, What I

Like About You, Leverage, Community, Body of Proof, Raising Hope, Major Crimes, and

Criminal Minds.

The actor has said he was "skeptical" about making his return to television when Riverdale

came along, but, luckily, his agent pushed him to read the script, and — just like

the show's devotees — he was hooked.

Molly Ringwald

After landing a teen heartthrob to play Archie's father, it makes sense that Riverdale's producers

would seek out another huge star to play his mother.

Enter Molly Ringwald, a venerable icon since the 1980s and everybody's first redhead crush.

Ringwald's many — many — film roles during her "Brat Pack" teen-star days include Sixteen

Candles, The Breakfast Club, and Pretty in Pink.

Early on in her career, she also appeared in various TV series like Diff'rent Strokes

and The Facts of Life.

Ringwald's stepped out of the spotlight since the '80s, but she still pops up on the big

screen every now and then.

She was also a series regular on ABC Family's The Secret Life of the American Teenager,

and she booked guest appearances on Medium and Psych along with a lead role in the Canadian

series Raising Expectations.

Mädchen Amick

Playing the Betty's mother, Alice Cooper — no, not that Alice Cooper — Mädchen Amick is

another one of Riverdale's resident creepy parents with a pretty impressive acting past.

Most notable is her role as the waitress Shelley Johnson on David Lynch's supernatural mystery

Twin Peaks, a role that she reprised in the 1992 prequel film Fire Walk With Me and the

cult hit's 2017 reboot Twin Peaks: The Return.

Amick's popped up here and there in a ton of big-name shows since, from American Horror

Story to Gilmore Girls.

But viewers may also recognize her from her recurring roles in Central Park West, Freddie,

and Witches of East End.

Marisol Nichols

Marisol Nichols has been conniving and cutthroat in her role as Veronica's mother Hermione

Lodge, but she's also brought a lot of sensitivity to the serious part.

This is thanks to Nichols' long-time experience in the acting business, which kicked off in

1996 with guest appearances on the short-lived sitcom My Guys and Beverly Hills, 90210.

Like many of her adult Riverdale co-stars, Nichols was once a teen fixture in well-known

movies like Can't Hardly Wait, Vegas Vacation, and Scream 2.

She's also appeared on TV in a number of fan-favorite shows like Charmed, Friends, and Boy Meets

World, before hitting it big on Fox's 24, playing Special Agent Nadia Yassir.

Mark Consuelos

Cast as Veronica's intense father Hiram Lodge in Riverdale's second season, Mark Consuelos

started acting in 1995 when he starred in the soap opera All My Children until 2010.

In fact, that's where he met his wife, TV host Kelly Ripa!

During that time, he also booked dozens of other acting gigs, including guest-starring

roles on shows like Friends, American Family, and Third Watch.

He's also appeared in shows like Ugly Betty, Law and Order: Special Victims Unit, and American

Horror Story: Asylum.

Talk about a well-rounded CV!

Skeet Ulrich

Another former teen star recruited to play a Riverdale parent, Skeet Ulrich was so impressive

as Jughead's criminal father FP in season one that he was bumped up to a series regular

for season two — despite his character's incarceration that is.

He started off his acting career with small uncredited roles in Weekend at Bernie's and

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles before breaking out with a performance in the movie The Craft.

Though horror hounds will likely recognize him as villain Billy Loomis in 1996's Scream.

During the '90s, he also had roles in Boys, Ride with the Devil, and As Good as it Gets.

Ulrich stayed in the spotlight in the next decade as well, appearing on the TV series

Into the West, Miracles, and Jericho, and later guest starring in CSI: New York and

Law and Order: LA.

Martin Cummins

Actor Martin Cummins, who plays the dead serious Sheriff Keller, has the experience necessary

for a show where everyone is suspect — he's held more than 75 credits stretching back

to 1987, after all.

Although Cummins didn't achieve the same kind of 1990s relevance as some of his co-stars,

he was a vital player in a lot of different TV shows and movies, ranging from 21 Jump

Street to Highlander to Born to Run.

In the late '90s, Cummins signed on to appear in sci-fi smash Stargate SG-1.

This move gave him the geek cred to later show up in Smallville, and Kyle XY, and Bates

Motel.

Lochlyn Munro

OK, so Betty's dad Hal Cooper isn't the most congenial of Riverdale's grownups.

But the actor who plays him, Lochlyn Munro, seems like a perfectly nice guy — and a

busy one, with over 200 credits to his name.

Munro hasn't had many parts that stuck around for long, but he has been a prolific guest

star, appearing on shows like Charmed, Psych, Bones, Lucifer, and Supernatural.

While he's no stranger to T.V., Munro's probably more well-known for his many film roles, which

come from a variety of genres, from campy horror flicks like Freddy vs. Jason to comedies

like Scary Movie and Daddy Day Camp.

June 2018 Bullet Journal Setup | Doris Wanjiku - Duration: 5:18.

Hello everyone, welcome to yet another bullet journal setup, this is for the month of June and I'm so excited to try out this

Western kind of theme I had this idea of a cowboy my dad used to love

Being a cowboy and since June is also his month

I thought that I can incorporate that Western feel into this and of course on the left

You can see that I'm a bit patriotic

So I definitely had to have the Kenyan flag to commemorate the 55th Madaraka Day

But before that let's go through my May Journal and that is how it looked

of course, I had the, uh the

Royal theme I was disappointed about my habit tracker, but my brain dump

was pretty full, of course

I had my quote and then I had my financial tracker if you want to view more how I setup this

go over to my description box to check it out from the

May bullet journal my meal plan of course is always full but I had this part that

wasn't used so ugh, no I'm not going to have that anymore

These are my weeks my first week. It was pretty

Let's say we have lots and lots of activities and I'm grateful for

I felt a little bit uninspired

So I went and checked out some more youtubers and I found some quotes that helped me this month

this is just me trying to come up with an idea for June and

Of course

the

Final ones are here or if you like my videos remember to like them and also subscribe to my channel

I'll be so so grateful and

Yeah, let's get to June

Now I have some

Pelican fiber tip pens over here in colors of six and I have some color

For June I'm so excited about it. So let's head over to June on the Left

I have the Kenyan flag over there black red and green are our colors and June in French

I love French

So yeah

And then on this left side I go with my Western theme some doodle over there for my monthly

Spread of course. I love having my calendar then. I have my events and then

had my calendar in grid I found that this is most

effective for me. I keep track of everything then. I have my appointments on the left and a kaCowboy

there to make it a little bit more cowboy

Then I included my habit tracker. I did not like the individual habit trackers and as I did my habit tracker

I also included my mood and social media trackers. So that's what I'm doing over here

And of course a little bit more color, I love the gratitude log

And I had to have it and my brain dump

My meal plan is also a winner for me and I had to have it and I have a Father's Day

quote over there

that I thought would be awesome to have by Reed and

Yeah

Then I of course. I mentioned that the first of June is my daddy's birthday

But he rested a few years ago, and I decided to write him a letter

Just because I miss him and I've been thinking a lot about him. The first week is just two days

So I just have Friday Saturday and my next week logs. I

hope you like it. So let's see the flip through of what

came up. Enjoy!

How to Add a News Ticker on Your YouTube Video - Duration: 14:47.

Bowman Homestead asked "How do you add a news ticker on your Camtasia video

that is longer than a text box?

I have seen a lot of videos teach how to add

the news ticker, but you can only have a small amount of text that way.

Can't wait to hear back!"

Well Bowman, I am happy to provide a tutorial on how to add a news ticker

for your YouTube video, using Camtasia.

You can actually use the same principal in Camtasia 8; however, Camtasia 9 and

above, makes it so much easier!

In addition, I have a bonus Camtasia library asset, a lower third news

ticker, which I will teach you how to easily customize in Camtasia, using

your branded colors for your YouTube videos.

I'm Naomi Skarzinski with the Top Shelf VA channel.

Your place for creativity and inspiration for business and life.

If you're new to the channel, please take one second and click on the

subscribe button, click on the bell icon, and check notifications for Top

Shelf VA.

Okay, the first step to setting up your news ticker in Camtasia is to click on

Annotations and then Callouts if it is not already selected.

Then select one of the text icons, it really doesn't matter which one, just

drag it onto the canvas.

Go to Visual Properties and remove the Drop Shadow.

If you wanted a colored background for your ticker, go back to Annotations and

select Shapes.

Go to the drop down and select Bold.

Click on the white rectangle and drag it onto the canvas.

We're selecting this one because unlike some of the other choices in Camtasia,

this callout has sharp corners, not rounded corners to the rectangle.

Drag the edge to the right side and lower the height.

Let's go to Annotation Properties in the Properties Panel and change the

color of the Camtasia callout.

Click on the dropdown and select a color.

I know the color I want for my brand, so I will type it in here.

Now drag the text callout down over the rectangle and adjust it height wise.

Let me move the text to the track above the rectangle callout.

There we go.

Double click inside the text box to highlight it.

Now, if you want to change the font, go to the font properties, and change the

font to what you want.

I'm going to make this Arial Bold, as I have found a bolder, thicker font is

easier to read as it moves across the screen.

Move the text box to the edges and set the text to left justified.

Now let me demonstrate what Bowman was referring to when it looks as though

you can only have a small amount of text.

Watch what happens when the text gets to the end.

Holy moly!

That's not good!

Okay, so here's the first trick to adding a news ticker onto your video.

The text box needs to be much wider.

To do this, click in the canvas area and if you have a scroll wheel on your

mouse, scroll down.

You can also do this by holding your Control key down plus the minus key to

minimize.

This is a little too small for me to work with, so I'm going to increase the

size slightly by scrolling up a little bit.

Now, I'll click on the end of text box and widen the box to the right.

I want to make it as wide as it will go, so I'll hold down the spacebar,

which turns the cursor into a hand.

I'll move the canvas to the left and widen the text box as wide as Camtasia

will allow.

I'll then go up to Canvas Options and select fit, which fits everything into

the Camtasia canvas area.

I'll move the text box a little bit to the left, type some more, move to the

left, type some, and just finish typing.

One important thing to remember is to end on a full sentence because if we

are going to add more new tickers to our video, it's easier to do with full

sentences.

You may also find you have additional text that will minimize the size of the

font as before.

Just keep an eye on it and don't let it minimize to the point it is hard to

read as it is moving, we can always set up another text box to follow it.

When you have finished, and if the text size automatically minimized, make a

note of the font size, you want to ensure the font size of the second box

is going to be the same.

Now move the text box to the right, off of the canvas, making sure to use the

yellow lines to help keep you in line with the rectangle underneath.

Go to the timeline and extend the text box and the rectangle to 35 seconds.

I found this is about the right amount of time, plus or minus, for the ticker

to move from the right to the left and be readable.

Lock track one, which is your colored background, and click on track two,

which is your text.

Move the playhead anywhere on the timeline.

To quickly add an animation, you can press Shift plus A.

Or you can do it by clicking on Animations, the Animations tab, then

dragging custom onto the text callout.

I like using keyboard shortcuts because they are faster!

Click on the animation to make sure it is selected.

The playhead should be lined up with the end of the animation.

Move the text box to the left and off the canvas, once again, making sure to

use the yellow lines as a guide.

Go to the animation and move each end of the animation to the left and to the

right of the text box.

Here's one thing I always keep forgetting to do, right click on the

animation.

From the drop-down menu, select Enable Easing and then Linear.

This will ensure the text moves across to the left at the same pace.

Let's see how this looks.

It's moving across the screen at a slow, but not too slow, and easy pace

to read.

If you are going to add additional text, when the end of this original

text box appears, stop the playhead.

Making sure the text box is highlighted, copy it by pressing

Control plus C. Then paste it by pressing Control plus V.

A copy of the text box will be placed at the playhead.

Move the playhead a little, so more of the text is showing in the second box.

Then double click in the text box to highlight all the text and start typing

your new text to replace the text in the second text box.

You can unlock track one to widen the rectangle to match the full width of

both text boxes and relock it, so you can continue working on the second text box.

Now you can watch the full ticker to see if everything flows well and adjust

as necessary.

If you want to add even more text, then all you need to do is copy and paste

the text box again.

This a straightforward and plain news ticker for your YouTube videos.

However, there is the bonus I promised.

It's a lower third news ticker, which I created from scratch just for you and

it's completely free.

I'm going to demonstrate how you can use this, change all the colors, and

the text for your own branding.

When you have finished the video, use the link in the description below for

this free library asset for Camtasia versions 9 and above.

Sorry, this Camtasia library asset will not work with Camtasia 8 or earlier versions.

Once you have imported the asset to your Camtasia Library, right click on

it and select Add to Timeline at Playhead.

Let's expand this a little and look at an important aspect of this group.

On the left of the group, we have a slide right transition and on the right

of the group, we have a fade transition.

Both of these are at 26 milliseconds.

Make a note of that because we will lose these transitions when we take the

next step, which is to right click and select Ungroup, or use the shortcut key

of Control plus U.

Let's expand the tracks, so we can see everything.

As you know, everybody works differently.

How I like to work with library assets, is to group everything as much as

possible and then label each group, this helps make everything clear, so I

am not looking at hundreds of tracks all at once!

Let's click outside of this, so nothing is highlighted, and take a quick look

at the layout of the land.

We have the second tab.

The first tab.

The accent bar.

The bottom bar.

The bottom vignette.

And then, each of the animated glows.

Before we get started, I'll add a video clip behind this, so you can see the

full effect as we work.

I'll go to the track one, right click on it, and select insert track below.

I have a video clip in my media bin, which I will drag down to track one.

I'll also expand it and resize it for this demo.

I'll lock it and I'll lock all the other tracks, except for the one I am

working on at the time.

I personally like locking tracks when I'm working on an area that has

numerous tracks.

It helps me avoid any possible mishaps.

And let me tell you, I have had some mishaps!

I'll work on the second tab.

I'll click on the plus sign to expand it.

Let's change the color of the second tab first by highlighting it and

changing the color in the Properties Panel.

You can choose any color you want by using the slider and moving the picker

around in the square.

If you know the colors you want to use already, you can use their HEX code, or

click on the mode to switch to the RGB mode.

I already have some HEX codes, so I'm going to enter the color for what I want.

Now, click on the text clip and double click the text to highlight all the text.

Okay, see what happened?

The group closed on us.

This sometimes happens depending on how many items are grouped and how the

layers are arranged.

In this case, the fastest thing to do is to ungroup for the moment.

We can now double click on the text to highlight it and type in whatever we

want here.

I'll say, "Training Channel."

Now we can go down to the tracks, regroup them, name it again if you

would like, right click, select remove all empty tracks, and lock that track.

Simple!

On to the next step and unlock track three.

Click on the plus sign to expand it.

Let's do the same thing to change the color of the first tab.

Go to Colorize in the Properties Panel, drop down the color selection, either

select a color or paste in your color number.

Let's take care of the logo.

Right click on the logo track and select Replace Media.

Select your logo or whatever image you would like here.

More than likely your image will be larger, so you will need to adjust it to fit.

If you would like a little more room for your logo, unlock track two, select

both groups, and then use your up arrow to bring up the tabs slightly.

Not too much, you don't want the news track to visually be unbalanced, but

you can see you have quite a bit of room to experiment.

Then adjust the logo to the new height.

I think I'll also bring the text on the second tab down a little.

Let's lock those tracks and move on to track four.

Let's change the accent color.

To get the vignette, we use the same accent color, and then move the color

point or circle down to a much darker hue of that color.

We're getting there!

Let's close that group and lock the track and open track five.

Now this has text and we've already learned it will be easier to deal with

this if we ungroup it first.

Remember, the keyboard shortcut is Control plus U.

Let's change the color of the bottom ticker.

We'll change the vignette on this in a little bit.

We want to change the text first.

Click on the first text box and move your playhead to the left until you can

see the start of the text.

Double click in the text box to highlight everything, and then start

typing with your own text.

Remember, you want to come to the end of the text box by ending with a sentence.

Do the same thing with the next text box.

Remember to proofread what you wrote, nothing feels worse than having a

spelling mistake in your final video!

Okay that all looks good, so let's regroup those, name the group, and

remove the empty tracks.

Lock the track and unlock track six.

The same deal for the vignette.

I'm going to use the same color I used for the bottom track and then choose a

much darker hue of that color Lock the track and unlock track seven.

Hmmm, I like it, but I want the color to be a little subtler.

There's several groups here and there is a way to make changes to all of them

at once.

First, ungroup everything.

Looking at Colorize in the Properties Panel, we see the bottom row is the

yellow and the top is the white.

All I want to do is make the color a little less, maybe the opacity a little

more transparent.

First, I will click on all the animations for the yellow by holding my

Control key down as I select each yellow animation.

Now this is the important part.

This is the important part!

We want the changes we are about to make to affect the animation from the

beginning to the end of it.

We'll click on these two little arrows underneath the Visual Properties icon.

This will switch it on.

It's on when you see them turn red.

Make sure the playhead is resting on the end circle of one of the animations.

Now whatever changes we make will affect all the yellow animations.

From the beginning to the end.

I'm going to change the colorize amount to 95%.

Change the opacity to 95% and change the yellow to a little lighter yellow

hue.

Let's check that.

Yep, I like it.

Now I'm also going to change the opacity on the white to 95%.

I'll click on the first white animation, then hold my Control key

down and click on the rest of the white animations.

Let's change Colorize amount to 95% and Opacity to 65% and check it.

Yep, I like it.

Let's remember to turn off the property changes switch.

It should be grey when it's turned off.

If it's not turned off, later on down the road, you will probably be tearing

your hair out trying to figure out why your animations are not working exactly

the way you want them to work.

So make sure it's turned off.

I'll unclick outside of the animations, so they're no longer highlighted and

regroup each set.

The reason I'm regrouping each set, rather than grouping together, is I may

decide down the road that I want to adjust one of the glow affects to the

right or left, and it's easier to do it this way.

Okay, let's unlock all the news ticker tracks, then group all of them together.

Rename it.

Go to Transitions and scroll down to Slide Right and drag that animation

onto the group.

I only want this to be 26 milliseconds.

I'll move to the end of the group and add the Fade transition, also adjusting

it for 26 milliseconds.

Let's remove all the empty tracks and take a quick look at the full effect.

There you go.

Make sure you click on the link in the description to get your free Camtasia

news ticker library asset.
