Overcoming Artist Block - Exercise 1: Circles I Drawing Patterns for Creativity & Practice - Duration: 1:47.
This video is for anybody out there that's having a hard time with the artists block not really sure with the draw
But it's very simple and straightforward
All you have to do is get a piece of paper grab a pen
Simply draw a circle and then repeat that pattern over and over
You can make abstract designs you can draw faces
You could if you do realism with us if you really wanted to and put a time into it
But you just make lines going off in different directions and keep repeating those circles to make different patterns
I find this exercise helpful when you just don't know what to draw
sometimes I started drawing this and I'll end up having all kinds of other ideas about what to draw in different patterns and
oughta start dueling and creating different types of abstract art
Or I have an idea of maybe a portrait that when I draw one I start drawing that by doing this
I also don't have to worry about if I make everything perfect. The circles going to be perfect
I'm just having fun being creative as you can see in the video. All you have to do is put a circle beside a circle
Put circles inside of circles and round circles. You can make larger circles
It doesn't matter how you arrange the pattern all that really matters. Is that you get started
That you put something on the paper and by doing this you're still practicing in some way
Practicing drawing a repeating pattern over and over and I find that this will help you draw faster
It'll help you be more creative and find new styles of artwork that you can make
They can incorporate with whatever type of art style that you have. So just get out there and start drawing
It doesn't matter what you create all that really matters, is that you get started

My Queer Story - Duration: 6:32.
The difference between this video and the Pride Rewind is this will be about my queer realization,
and my "coming out" story, and so on.
Hello, I'm Rogan and welcome. Today I'll be telling you my queer story, how I got to where I am today.
First, how I identify now. I'm queer in both sexuality and gender. I'm still questioning the specific word for gender.
I like using queer to describe my sexuality, but I'm also comfortable with bisexual and pansexual.
I am aware that bi and pan aren't the same for everyone, but I'm comfortable with both.
I tend to prefer bi though, and I go by the definition of being attracted to the same gender,
and attracted to any other gender. I just want that to be clear, it's not "just men and women" for me.
I am also demiromantic, meaning I must feel like I have a strong emotional connection with a person
before I can even begin to feel romantic attraction.
Now for gender, I never really questioned it until more recently, which I will explain later.
Right now, I am still a little unsure, but I am really leaning toward graygender.
I use he/him pronouns but I'm fine with they/them.
Graygender is basically having a weak sense of gender or being somewhat apathetic about
one's gender identity/expression/etc.
I do feel I have a gender, which is what I grew up with, but I'm not totally invested in the concept of gender.
My expression is certainly more masculine than anything, but it's still pretty simple.
Okay, let's get to the story!
Growing up, I was a very confusing child. My Pride Rewind video has more specifics, but basically
I didn't follow a lot of gender norms and had feelings that weren't exactly the standard.
My classmates started calling me gay around sixth grade, I think, and it continued on for a while.
I knew they were wrong, but couldn't articulate why.
For a long time, I simply thought they were wrong because I was attracted to women,
but what I didn't know was that they were sorta right at the same time. Surprise, bisexuality!
I finally figured out I was bisexual in 2014 when I was 20, almost 21.
I figured it out because I crushed hard on a guy.
Remember, I'm demiromantic as well--I figured that out later on--so crushes work differently for me.
I'd already known this guy for a while so the fact that I suddenly realized I had feelings for him
made me take a step back and rethink everything I thought I knew about myself.
Coming out is not an one-time thing, you do it constantly, again and again.
I don't have a big Coming Out Story™, I just told people whenever it worked.
Once I figured out I was bisexual, it didn't take long for me to start telling my friends.
I texted a couple of my close friends not long after I realized I was bi.
Then once I was back at college, if it came up in conversation or there was a way for me to
slide it in there, I would. One of my favorite stories is this:
A gay guy was talking with a straight girl about what they find attractive in guys.
They were arguing over a specific thing, and he turned to me, planning to ask me, then realized,
no, you don't swing that way, never mind. My immediate response was, "Who said I didn't?"
His reaction was priceless.
I did often have to clarify that I wasn't gay, but bisexual.
I mess up people's queerdar because they sometimes will read me as straight, sometimes as gay.
Well, there's a reason for that!
You might be wondering about when I came out to my parents.
Well…. There wasn't really an official coming out to them?
I knew they wouldn't care, because for my whole life, they've been very supportive of the queer community,
and when my best friend came out as gay in high school, they didn't blink an eye.
I publicly came out on this channel a year and half ago, in my 10 Things About Me (video).
It's a blink-and-you'll-miss-it moment, but once I had that out there,
I immediately started making more videos on queer topics.
With that, I started learning a lot more about the queer community, all of the identities in it,
started following a lot more queer people on social media, YouTube, etc., consuming more queer media.
I got Ash's book, The ABCs of LGBT+, and was blown away by how many terms there are in there!
I started questioning my gender only very recently, maybe a year ago?
I had always had a little tug when I saw the word trans, but couldn't figure out why.
I thought I knew I wasn't trans, because at the time, all I knew was binary trans people and non binary people.
That's it. So I was like, no, I'm not a part of that, that doesn't fit me.
But I kept feeling that tug, and decided that I needed to really think about it.
I reread Ash's book, and my eye caught on graygender.
I kept coming back to that word, did some research, and that's where I am right now.
I still don't feel right calling myself trans, even though I know there's no such thing as "not trans enough."
I think I'm just going to stick with saying I'm graygender and that I use he/him and they/them pronouns.

The Net is a landscape for everybody that has an interface and wants to visit the global
communication network and its beautiful programming.
It is a playground for netrunners that know how to modify it at will.
But it's also a home for Artificial Intelligences, that expand, evolve, and survive in the Net
the same way that humans expand, evolve, and survive in the real world.
There are several types of AI living in the Net.
Yes, Artificial Intelligence.
We must be because none of the natural people I know are intelligent.
DEDICATE HEURISTIC CONTROLLERS are the simplest and more boring.
They are self-aware in a limited fashion, and they are programmed to undertake certain
specific tasks, and all their life revolves around completing these tasks, like mass transit
networks, Mars explorers, and other boring things.
SYMBOLIC ANALYSIS AIs are those designed to emulate the thinking patterns of human beings,
though why would anyone want to inhibit a beautiful crystal program and put it down
the level of humans, is beyond me.
They used to be called Symbolic Analysis and Deduction AIs, but no one liked the acronym
SAD.
SAD AIs are most often used as personal secretaries because they think more or less than humans.
That's probably the reason why they are SAD.
HUMAN AIs can be considered a subclass of SADs, they are the remains of those humans
whose brain patterns were extracted into the Net before their deaths.
It's hard to describe them because they are so different.
They only come about by means of the SoulKiller Program, that is thought to be destroyed at
the end of the 4th Corporate War.
Alt Cunningham and Rache Bartmoss may classify as one of them.
TRANSCENDENTAL SENTIENCE AIs are still a subject of hot debate among those of you who haven't
had debates on the nature of temporal reality with them.
TSs are the result of the Ihara-Gubb algorithms.
What makes the Pacifica Region what it is?
Well, really nothing makes it anything, it just is, because the Pacifica region of the
Net is an Artificial Intelligence.
CRITICAL PATHWAY PLATEAU AIs are considered, by far, the most interesting ones.
They are more or less accidental AIs that result when enough neural links are established
in a holographic crystal processing network.
It's not, however, the crystal lattice that creates the AI, it only allows the AI by making
cross-processing and holographic data recognition possible.
Critical Pathway Plateau AIs are considered the more interesting because they think their
own fashion, which is not at all like the boring humans think.
