Waching daily Jun 20 2018

Hi, everybody!

Today we are starting a new series of videos.

How to practice our basic fencing techniques.

Let's talk about the movement on the list.

And How to do a new exercise "Road" (Or "Kata")

For what it is needed and how to do it.

At first. Why are we moving in the list?

First and most important.

We must take the position as close as possible to the center of the list.

We must get as much space between our back and the fence.

And as little space as possible between the fence and back of your opponent.

Why do we need this?

The best defense is a step back. The simplest defense.

No need to invent anything.

Your opponent took aim.

He invented a brilliant plan in his head.

"I'll make a feint, then a series of blows, then a strike with a shield ..."

He began to do it. But you take a step back ...

He breaks his attack in the first act.

All this works well, as long as you have a place to retreat.

Then your back meets the fence, and you must fight.

But you always need free space behind your back.

Because the failures in defense always happen.

And they are corrected only by a step back.

Next

You must find the distance to the enemy, on which it will be easier for you to attack him.

But that's not all.

It should not be easy for your opponent to attack you.

That is, you must choose the distance and the moment when you attack the enemy, but he does not attack you.

It's like a game.

Well, the "Roads"! (Or "Kata")

That's what we're doing with my students at each training session.

I recommend that you do the same.

The training began, you choose four standard "Roads", and you do it.

Students come to me for training and I tell them to do the "The Roads", for example, in the "Quinta".

And they all know what to do.

So I can play games on my phone.

This should be on every training session.

This is the basis for training movements on the list.

Now I will show you four standard "Roads".

Usually we do them in "Quinta".

We stand in static defense, the shield in the left hand.

Check the sword and walk.

The first "Road".

In the right-side stand. A simple step.

We go through the training room face forward.

And then backwards.

The second "Road". Here we change our leg...

And we walk in the left-sided stance.

Done

Next - step with the Stance changing.

Stand in "Quinta".

And we walk with the Stance changing.

Next - step with the Stance changing + the simple step

We just change the Stance

And make a step.

It's easy.

Also, we can do it in the backward movement.

In this way, you learn to defend yourself in the movement.

Your legs move independently of the position of your hands.

It is not simple.

You need to hold the position of the body, shoulders and hands while you are moving.

It's harder than just standing still.

But it is necessary.

How can we use it?

All your strikes, defenses, a series of blows and transitions from defense to attack...

All of them can and should be trained in the 'Roads".

Especially if you do not have a partner.

You do the 50 "roads" and that's it. You had a good training.

For example

You can do the classic 1-2 combination.

Direct and reverse blows to the head.

Create a scheme for yourself and work on it.

Now I will make one blow every step.

First direct blow, then reverse blow.

And one

And Two

And One

And two. And back

One

Two

One

Two

Done

And then I thought. My reverse blow technique is not so good.

Perfectly! It's time for a new "Road".

And here we go!

*bum*

Swing and strike on every step!

You can train transitions from defense to defense.

The most popular is the transition from the "Tertia" to the "Quinta".

From the "Tertia" to the "Quinta".

And here we go! We make a trensition from the "Tertia" to the "Quinta" on every step.

This is really a difficult exercise.

*bum-bum, bum-bum, bum-bum,*

And backward.

You can do it with the Stance changing.

Each training you must do standard "Roads".

You MUST learn this very well!

I have been training for many years, but I do the "Roads" every training.

I come to the training, warm up, do the "Roads" and only then do something else.

It is important.

The video is long, we talk a lot.

I will tell you more.

Try as little as possible to train in a static position.

You must move.

Keep it to a minimum.

To beat the "Balda" while you stand still. Or when you practice the combinations.

Train blows through the air.

You can only train in a static position when you're completely newbie (or n00b).

When you need to concentrate your attention on your sword.

How it swing... how it strike.

When you learn this, go straight to training with the steps.

You must always train in motion.

Otherwise, an awkward situation will happen.

Once upon a time I also made this mistake.

We just beat the "Balda" in static position.

And sparring. That's all.

Many people still do that.

And as it turns out in the end.

You beat the balda. Bring yourself into this to perfection.

You can beat they endlessly. You beat they very fast and very strong.

And it seems to you that your opponent will be destroyed.

Because this is true. If you beat a man the way you beat the Balda, he will just break.

But when you come to the list, All goes wrong.

You can not hit your opponent.

Or you hit him, but he goes away from you and you can not continue your favorite combination.

You are trying to move like that. To get into the situation.

You are spending a lot of energy.

And if in training in armor you can beat the Balda for an hour.

But on the lists you die in twenty seconds.

This is a story from life. I'm not lying to you.

Train on the move!

Lost & Found - Part 1 - Duration: 4:12.

[MUSIC]

CARY: SOMEONE OFFERED ME HEROIN, AND THAT'S WHEN IT

REALLY GOT DARK.

I WAS LIVING IN MY CAR, IN SEEDY MOTELS, HOMELESS SHELTERS, JUST

WHEREVER I COULD LAY MY HEAD.

NO ONE IN MY FAMILY WAS SPEAKING TO ME, AND THEN I LOST FULL

CUSTODY OF MY SON.

WHEN I CAME TO THE END OF MYSELF AND DECIDED THAT I COULDN'T DO

THIS ANYMORE, I LOST EVERYTHING.

I DIDN'T EVEN HAVE A PENNY TO MY NAME.

GINGER: DID YOU EVER ASK THE QUESTION, "GOD,

WHERE ARE YOU IN ALL OF THIS?" CARY: I FELT A MILLION MILES

AWAY FROM HIM AT TIMES, BUT I STILL ACHED FOR HIM AND I WANTED

TO GET BACK TO HIM.

IT'S JUST, I COULDN'T.

I WAS--I FELT LIKE I WAS IN SUCH BONDAGE.

I FELT LIKE THERE WAS NO WAY I COULD.

I FELT TRAPPED.

[MUSIC]

GINGER: YOU HAD REALLY EVERYTHING GOING FOR YOU AT

ONE POINT IN YOUR LIFE.

YOU WERE THE HOMECOMING QUEEN.

YOU WERE INTO SPORTS AND YOU WERE A NURSE, BUT IT WAS

AN INJURY IN THE BEGINNING THAT KIND OF BEGAN A CHANGE

IN YOUR LIFE.

TELL ME WHAT HAPPENED.

CARY: YEAH, I INJURED MY SHOULDER PLAYING VOLLEYBALL.

I PLAYED A LOT OF INTRAMURAL SPORTS AT THE TIME.

AND I GOT PRESCRIBED LORTABS FOR THE PAIN, AND I TOOK TWO

AND THEY KILLED THE PAIN.

I PUT 'EM IN MY MEDICINE CABINET AND THEY SAT THERE FOR PROBABLY

ANOTHER YEAR.

I NEVER TOOK ANY MORE.

AND THEN I REINJURED MY SHOULDER AGAIN, AND I REMEMBERED I HAD

THOSE PILLS IN MY MEDICINE CABINET.

AND SO, I WENT AND TOOK TWO MORE.

AND OVER TIME, HERE AND THERE, I WOULD JUST TAKE A PILL HERE,

A PILL THERE.

AND THEN IT GOT TO BE WHERE ALMOST LIKE YOU WOULD HAVE

A GLASS OF WINE, I WOULD TAKE A PILL HERE AND THERE.

AND THAT LED TO AN OUT OF CONTROL ADDICTION TO PILLS.

GINGER: NOW, BEING IN THE NURSING FIELD, YOU PROBABLY HAD

ACCESS TO THOSE PILLS AS WELL.

THAT MUST'VE BEEN A PROBLEM.

CARY: I STOLE PILLS FROM WORK.

I CALLED IN MY OWN PRESCRIPTIONS.

I WOULD GO FROM DOCTOR TO DOCTOR, EMERGENCY ROOM

TO EMERGENCY ROOM.

WHATEVER I COULD DO TO GET MORE PILLS.

AND THERE WOULD BE, YOU KNOW, TIMES THAT I WOULD BE SOBER FOR

A LITTLE WHILE, BUT NOT LONG.

IT'S LIKE I COULDN'T STAY CLEAN.

I WOULD ALWAYS RELAPSE, TIME AND TIME AGAIN.

GINGER: NEVER FULFILLED.

CARY: NEVER FULFILLED, NEVER.

THE PILLS STOPPED WORKING FOR ME.

AND SO, YOU KNOW, LOOKING FOR PILLS ONE DAY, SOMEONE OFFERED

ME HEROIN, AND THAT'S WHEN IT REALLY GOT DARK AND DEMONIC.

GINGER: WHEN THE MAIN FOCUS OF YOUR LIFE BECOMES ALL ABOUT

THE DRUGS, AND THAT'S REALLY WHAT YOU'RE THINKING ABOUT ALL

THE TIME, JUST CHASING THAT HIGH, WHAT IS THAT LIKE FOR YOU?

CARY: YOU WAKE UP TO GET HIGH AND YOU GO TO BED TO GET HIGH.

AND MY ADDICTION GOT SO BAD THAT I WAS WILLING TO DO ANYTHING

AND EVERYTHING TO GET HIGH.

THAT MEANS BREAK THE LAW, IT MEANS STEAL, IT MEANS HAVE

SEX FOR DRUGS.

WHATEVER IT TOOK.

SO, YOU HAVE NO SELF-WORTH ANYMORE.

YOU LOSE ALL THAT, AND IT'S JUST--YOU'RE WILLING TO GET INTO

DUMPSTERS.

YOU'RE WILLING TO ROB PEOPLE.

YOU'RE WILLING TO STEAL FROM YOUR OWN MOM OR YOUR OWN

GRANDMOTHER.

I STOLE MY GRANDMOTHER'S RING THAT MY GRANDFATHER HAD GIVEN

HER, YOU KNOW, WHEN THEY WERE TEENAGERS.

I MEAN, THAT'S WHAT IT BRINGS YOU TO.

IT BRINGS YOU TO DO THINGS THAT YOU WOULD NEVER DO OTHERWISE

EVER.

GINGER: SO, YOUR LIFE WENT FROM THE HOMECOMING QUEEN TO

THE LOWEST THAT YOU CAN IMAGINE.

CARY: JUST A REGULAR OL' STREET JUNKIE.

THAT'S WHAT I ENDED UP BEING IS JUST A STREET JUNKIE THAT HAD

NO HOPE, THAT WAS A CRIMINAL, AND A LIAR, AND A MANIPULATOR,

AND A THIEF.

GINGER: AND NOW, GOD'S TAKEN YOU FROM THAT LOWEST OF LOW

POINTS, FROM, AS YOU DESCRIBED YOURSELF, A STREET JUNKIE, TO

BACK UP TO BEING HIS DAUGHTER.

CARY: YES.

GINGER: TO BEING, YOU KNOW, A DAUGHTER OF THE KING.

CARY: YES.

GINGER: HOW AMAZING IS THAT WHEN YOU LOOK AT THAT JOURNEY

THAT YOU'VE BEEN ON?

CARY: IT'S BEAUTIFUL.

IT'S A BEAUTIFUL LOVE STORY.

HA HA HA.

IT REALLY IS.

AND PART OF THAT LOVE STORY WAS THE DUMPSTER, YOU KNOW?

ISN'T THAT COOL?

GOD'S SO AWESOME.

LEGO Star Wars Comic Con 2018 set - The perfect "exclusive"! - Duration: 1:01.

Hello, just2good here, and LEGO revealed the first of their Sandiego Comic Con exclusive

sets on Twitter - a little recreation of the Millennium Falcon Cockpit from Solo: A Star

Wars Story.

And, I think these are the type of SDCC exclusive many people can get behind.

People won't complain that they're unfair since the only thing exclusive is the box

- no minifigures are.

And the collectors have that BEATUFUL box design, which looks a bit like a VHS, funny

enough.

It's sort of like the Star Wars Celebration exclusive I got last year.

There weren't too many complaints about it, sicne the only thing exclusive was the packaging.

Now, I'm pretty sure there will be exclusive figures this year, so don't get too happy

if you're not a fan of those.

Maybe not for Star Wars, but for Super Heroes.

Either way, what do you guys think?

Does this make for a neat Comic Con promo?

Leave your thoughts in the comments below.

I'll see you guys later, peace out, bye.

Top 10 Scary Clown Urban Legends - Duration: 10:59.

How's it going on YouTube?

Welcome back to another most amazing video.

I'm your host Landon Dowlatsingh and before we get started I want to know, what was your

scariest nightmare?

Let me know your answers in the comment section below.

And be sure to stay till the end of this video because I will be replying to a bunch of your

comments.

A lot of people are absolutely terrified of clowns.

I don't blame them.

There is just something about a clown's face that gives me the creeps.

It doesn't help that there are a lot of horror movies that have killer clowns in them.

So, let's take a look at the top 10 scary clown urban legends.

Starting off this list in at number 10 is Chicago's Homey the clown.

There was a ton of rumors about a clown who would lure children into his white van near

schools.

So many people in Chicago began to believe that these rumors were true, and some of them

even reported seeing Homey the clown to the police but he was never caught.

According to this urban legend, Homey was a kidnapper and rapist who enjoyed dressing

in a clown costume because he wanted children to trust him.

Homey was always nearby and you couldn't walk home without seeing his creepy white

van following you home.

Because of this urban legend, so many parents took time off from work to pick up their kids

from school because they didn't want them to get abducted and murdered by Homey the

clown.

Ronald McDonald dolls peep into number 9.

Yeah, I think it's safe to say that Ronald McDonald is a creepy looking doll and I would

never want to meet him in real life.

But according to this story, a man and his wife were driving on a deserted road in the

middle of nowhere when they saw something really terrifying.

In the middle of the street, they saw dozens of creepy looking Ronald McDonald dolls scattered.

This incident took place around midnight and apparently this is a very popular scheme used

by gangs, abductors, and rapists to lure women out of their cars.

Strangely enough, all of these dolls disappeared the next morning without a trace.

I'm pretty sure if I was a woman and I saw these creepy dolls on the road, I definitely

wouldn't get out.

If anything, I would put my foot on the gas peddle and motor out of there.

A clown armed with a gun fires into number 8.

There are a bunch of stories about a crazed maniac dressed like a clown who would knock

on people's doors.

He would be carrying a bouquet of flowers and two silver balloons, so surely you would

want to open the door for him.

Or would you…Once you open the door, he would shoot you point blank in the forehead

with a .38 caliber revolver.

This clown doesn't seem too friendly, does he?

Well once this urban legend gained popularity, a real-life copycat murderer decided to try

this out for himself.

The mystery of this crazed killer clown remains a mystery to this day.

Number 7 we have The clown doll.

There is a very scary looking clown doll named Vincent Hitchcock who is said to be possessed

by a spirit of a child.

A woman from Oregon first discovered this scary doll in an online auction and she collects

creepy things so she added this doll to her collection for $500.

Shortly after she placed Vincent in a corner of the room, she began to experience strange

things around her home.

Sometimes the clown would be in a different position or he would be missing.

Other times Vincent would blink his eyes and watch her as she slept.

She left a tape recorder next to him and when she went to listen to it, she heard "I'm

going to kill you."

Well, then…I would tie Vincent to a bowling ball and drop him in a river that was 100

miles away from my house and I would never buy creepy dolls ever again.

Killer clown chain e-mail makes it into number 6.

A chain letter or e-mail is a message that tries to convince the reader to forward the

letter to as many people as possible.

Originally chain letters were sent through the mail, but now with the internet, they

are becoming highly circulated through e-mail as well.

So, there was one version of a killer clown chain e-mail that warns the person that if

they don't send this e-mail to 10 other people within 5 minutes, the clown will be

standing next to your bed at 3am with a knife in his hand.

Well, that's probably the creepiest thing I have ever heard in a while.

If I got this e-mail I would send it to twenty people just to make sure.

The scary clown statue haunts us in at number 5.

This creepy urban legend goes something like this.

A teenage girl was babysitting for a family one night.

The parents had a huge collection of clown memorabilia, statues, and figurines so they

decided to put all of their clown things into one room.

This story is already scaring me.

So, after the parents left, the children and the babysitter were playing in the clown room.

A lot of those clowns were just statues and some were even life-sized.

There was one creepy clown that was sitting in the rocking chair and the babysitter felt

as though his eyes were following her as she moved around the room.

She called the parents to ask if she could move the clown in the rocking chair to another

room because it was scaring the kids and the parents said to get out of the house immediately

and to go to the neighbor's house.

Frightened and confused, the babysitter grabbed the kids and ran to the neighbor's house.

The parents later explained that they were being stalked by a mentally ill man for quite

some time and he really wanted to hurt this family.

One time he even snuck into their house and tried to kidnap the children but failed.

And now this time, he dressed up in a clown costume, painted his face and waited patiently

until he had the opportunity to kill them.

Hmm, haven't you ever heard of investing into a heavy-duty alarm system?

Next in at number 4 is Zozzaby the stinky clown.

This urban legend focuses on the true story of Frederick Zozzaby who was a clown that

tragically committed suicide but legend has it that his ghost remains on Earth, haunting

poor, innocent children.

A pair of brothers woke up in the middle of the night because they heard extremely creepy

laughter.

Once they opened their eyes, they saw a tall man dressed in a one-piece maroon suit and

a painted-on clown face standing in their doorway.

If that's not scary enough, the clown moved closer to their beds and his face had a crooked

nose, hallow black eyes, and heavy clown makeup.

This ghost is said to be extremely evil and if you look into his eyes, you will die.

Oh, and you can tell it's the ghost of Zozzaby because he leaves a terrible odor behind that

smells like embalming fluid.

Creepy clowns hiding in the woods is in at number 3.

According to the urban legend, a mother returns home from work and her youngest son said that

he has seen a bunch of clowns whispering in the woods near their apartment complex.

He said that he could hear them laughing and they were trying to get him to come into the

woods to play with them.

Initially, the mother just brushes this off and blames it on his wild imagination but

later that night, her oldest son said that he heard chains rattling and banging on the

front door.

And when he looked through the peephole, he saw a white painted face with a big red nose

and devil looking eyes.

Apparently, a lot of local children went missing in this area because the killer clowns in

the woods convinced them to come and play with them.

Now in at number 2 The phantom clowns.

In this urban legend, clowns are driving in vans that are painted in either black or blue

and they were known to abduct and murder children in the neighborhood.

Most of these phantom clown rumors mostly circulated around young children who have

even claimed that they have seen these clown vans lurking near their school and homes.

Investigators couldn't find any evidence of killer clowns in vans who abducted children

so that's where the name phantom clowns come from.

But those who have seen the vans with killer clowns inside have also seen them with swords,

knives, and guns.

And anyone who was brave enough to look inside of the van was never seen or heard from again.

Finally in at our number 1 spot is Pogo the killer clown.

In Chicago, Illinois, there was a charismatic man who dressed up as Pogo the clown at charitable

events such as fundraisers, parades and children's parties.

But he had a sinister agenda.

He would lure children into his house with the promise of giving them candy, presents

or money.

Once inside, he would abuse them both physically and mentally.

He was an evil clown who sexually assaulted, tortured and murdered at least 33 teenage

boys and young men.

He would bury his victims in the crawl space of his home and continue to perform at children's

parties dressed as Pogo the clown.

Does this urban legend sound familiar?

What if I told you that this actually happened, and pogo the clown was actually John Wayne

Gacy.

Yep, this killer clown really did exist until he was executed by lethal injection back in

1994.

This is exactly why I don't trust clowns.

Well, there you guys have it…

Weird Things You Didn't Know About The Food Network - Duration: 6:31.

The Food Network has been on the air for more than two decades, churning out drool-worthy

dishes for the home-cooking masses and launching the careers of dozens of celebrity chefs in

the process.

Behind all the recipes and star-studded kitchens, you might be surprised to learn some strange

facts about everyone's favorite food channel.

Your beloved cooking shows might not be exactly what they seem, and what goes on behind the

scenes might not be what you'd expect.

"Don't worry about it."

In 1997, hosts on Two Hot Tamales walked viewers

through a traditional Latin recipe when things suddenly got a little too hot.

Inexplicably, the feed switched to several seconds of an adult film before the screen

went blank, and although an engineer attempted to switch to to a backup feed, that tape also

contained salacious material.

The X-rated footage aired for a solid minute before returning to the regularly scheduled

programming.

The hosts released a statement saying: "We were stunned and dismayed.

We have a broad viewing audience that we really care about and we hate to think of the shock

or embarrassment this may have caused any of our viewers."

It was never discovered who switched the feed.

When you're in the comfort of your own kitchen

you might sneak a taste of sauce and reuse the spoon or stick your finger into the frosting.

But when you're on television, that's not a good look, and a study by Texas Tech University

proved just how unsanitary your favorite Food Network personalities can be.

The study looked at 17 food safety and handling habits in an analysis of 49 episodes of five

different shows.

They identified only 118 positive food safety measures, compared to an overwhelming 460

poor food handling incidents.

Paula Deen's show, Paula's Home Cooking, won the award for the most negative behaviors,

thanks in large part due to one bad habit.

The southern chef licked her fingers more than 20 times during the analysis.

Not exactly a squeaky clean performance.

"It's just tongue titillating."

Think the celeb chefs featured on your favorite

cooking shows are doing all the work themselves?

Think again.

Rob Bleifer, the executive chef of the Food Network Kitchen revealed:

"People don't realize how many hands are involved even before [the on-air chefs] touch the food."

It's in the five kitchens at the Food Network studios where all the ingredients are prepped,

partially completed dishes are made to swap out during segments, and every detail of every

show is organized.

But it isn't like the on-screen chefs aren't working hard.

Of cooking on TV, executive culinary producer Jill Novatt said:

"You need to really actually cook, while listening to the culinary producer whispering in your

ear telling you to smile and to move your hand because it's blocking the celery, all

while you also have to pay attention to the studio director on the floor who is pointing

to which camera you have to face."

Watching chefs compete on television can be

downright nerve wracking.

The surprise ingredients…

"HAMBURGER!" ...the drama, the mishaps.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, these shows blur the lines when it comes to certain aspects of

reality.

According to an ABC News report, Iron Chefs are actually selected in advance, and two

of the three chefs lurking in the dark are just stand-ins.

And competitors are given three possibilities for the secret ingredient ahead of time, which

allows the show to stock their pantries accordingly.

As for all that cattiness between contestants?

One Redditor who says they filmed an episode of a pastry competition show says it's all

in the editing, revealing: "They sit you down to interview you and don't

let you go until they get something they can edit to sound badly."

Another Redditor, who says they worked as an intern on a Food Network reality show,

says you can also blame editing for the seemingly rushed finish, sharing:

"You can always have the countdown put over footage of a contestant making the final touches,

even if those final touches were done 5 minutes before time was up."

And a culinary assistant on Cupcake Wars claims those inexplicable mishaps were intentional

sabotages, alleging that if the oven wasn't hot enough, it was actually due to a camera

man purposely turning it down.

How's that for reality?

"I'm beyond freaking out."

For all of the criticism Guy Fieri receives,

his show Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives has quite the positive impact on the restaurants featured.

Restaurant owner Griffin Bufkin told Thrillist: "[Fieri] told us to be ready for a 200 percent

increase in business.

Believe it or not, that's what happened.

And it really hasn't stopped ever since."

From taping to airing, there's about a six month lag, but once it hits, it hits big.

And because the network reruns shows, the restaurants experience regular upswings in

business.

Another featured owner, Sarah Sanneh, explained: "We can always tell the day after our episode

has been re-run.

Like, all of a sudden we'll be slammed on some random Tuesday, then we'll realize, 'Oh,

they just replayed our show.

[…] That makes sense.'"

That's unsurprising given the people who seem to really love Fieri and the show.

According to Allen Salkin's tell-all book, From Scratch: Inside the Food Network, billionaire

hedge fund manager Steven A. Cohen forked over a boatload of cold, hard cash to pal

around Connecticut with Fieri for day, playing out his fantasy episode of Diners, Drive-Ins

and Dives.

"This is ridiculous."

Believe it or not, some of the biggest criticism of Food Network stars comes from other Food

Network personalities.

For example, it turns out Martha Stewart is a bit threatened by her competitors — or

at least that's the way she's portrayed with respect to Barefoot Contessa Ina Garten in

Allen Salkin's book, which alleges Stewart changed her mind after producing a pilot for

Garten.

The book reports: "[Stewart was] unhappy that another woman

was going to be the star of a show produced by her company."

What's more, the book alleges she went so far as to destroy all evidence the pilot happened.

Stewart reportedly told her team: "I don't want to be representing Ina.

I don't want this shown.

I want the tapes of this whole series destroyed."

Laura Ingraham's Detention Center Summer Camp - Duration: 3:02.

- More kids are being separated from their parents

and temporarily housed in what are essentially summer camps.

- [Narrator] Yes, it's finally here.

The summer camp your kids have been begging you

to send them to.

Laura Ingram Detention Center Summer Camp Extravaganza.

This abandoned Walmart used to roll back prices

but we rolled back the entire building

so we can fit 1,500 kids inside.

and now we can fit yours, too.

Children love independence

playing freely without the burden of their

"family units"

telling them not to do this or not to touch that

so if you're crossing the border seeking asylum,

drop your kids off here and

let us take care of them for the summer

and also forever, I guess.

- The Trump administration is taking children

from their parents and effectively

making them unaccompanied minors.

This place used to be just for kids

that would walk across the border on their own.

- [Narrator] Well not any more.

At Laura Ingram's Detention Center Summer Camp Extravaganza

we'll take any kid we can find

and give them fun activities like...

ART!

to make you resent U.S. Presidents past and present,

exercise during your two hours max

of fresh air each day,

video games so it's easier for the one counselor

for every eight campers to keep them busy

and, you know, know where they are.

Hiding from U.S. Senators so they don't know

about all the fun we're having.

(child crying)

- [Narrator] And music class.

Worried they'll miss you?

Don't.

At Laura Ingram's Detention Center Summer Camp Extravaganza,

we have licensed professionals on hand

to shake your kids' hand whenever he feels homesick.

But who can feel homesick with our luxury accommodations?

Featuring giant fenced-in, non-cages,

metal benches, and tinfoil sleeping bags.

Sounds expensive?

Think again.

It's tax payer funded.

- The U.S. taxpayer is spending a lot

on the care of these children,

nearly $35,000 per year per child.

They actually have a higher standard of living

than the 13 million American children today

currently living below the poverty line.

- [Narrator] Wow.

We don't pay for our own children to get armed guards,

Some of them don't even have clean drinking water.

We'll treat your children

better than the children of Flint, Michigan.

Worried your kids will try to leave?

Don't.

They're basically in a maximum security prison,

er, I mean, summer camp.

They're at camp.

- Or as a San Diego Union Tribune described them today,

is looking like, basically, boarding schools.

- [Narrator] Yeah, or boarding schools or whatever.

So, next time you risk everything

to escape violence and abuse for you and your child,

leave 'em with us so we can abuse you and your child

separately but equally.

Cause these days we're also throwing

that phrase around again for some reason.

RUSSIANS REACT TO CHILEAN MUSIC | La Ley - El Duelo (unplugged) | REACTION - Duration: 6:01.

Right now we're gonna react to El Duelo

The song is called "La La Ley"... wait, no. It's "La Ley"

From a concert

It means "The Law"

Alright

Now I hear the national rhythms and guitars

Awesome

Young guys

Very cozy atmosphere

Those things...hieroglyphs

Some Aztecs writing

This atmpsphere is typical for Mexican concerts

I think the girl is gonna sing

In the picture I saw her singing

A guy is singing now

You made a mistake

That sound reminded me of gurgling

What is that guy doing? -He's being sad

He looks so sad

Moral support

Ahh, he's playing drums

I thought he was just sitting there and being sad

Modern rockers

It reminds me of the American band "Story of the Year"

But they didn't have a girl

The guy is sad again

He's waiting for his moment

The title of the song makes you think it's about the law

Wow, such a powerful voice

Very beautiful song

They have 3 guitars

Even 4 guitars

The 4th guitar is probably bass

Ah no, it's not bass. They play with 4 guitars

She's trying so hard

The drummer left, he's gonna play another instrument

Ahh, he's gonna play the drum set now

I didn't expect this

Really fast ending

The first part of the song was really calm

I told you the girl was going to sing

I saw that face expression of her before watching this video

Her singing with an open mouth

Very good

Very original too

At first it started calmly and then...

Awesome

Let's see if they have other songs

They're so young and so good

Ahhh, wait

Ahhhh "La Ley" is the name of the band

And the song is called "El Duelo"

Duel -Between the girl and the guy?

Some duel

They have videos with 148 million views, 63 million views...

Really good singers

We really liked them

Especially the originality... they changed the tempo at the end

I also wanna know what year it is... ah, 9 years ago

They posted it 9 years ago... maybe it was filmed even earlier

Let us know if they still perform

And let us know what the song was about

Maybe it was a duel between that guy and the girl

Very good... see, it says 2008

CATALYST - FIT Happy Hour // Day 9 Workout - Duration: 16:19.

It's gonna be two minutes on and one minute off for five rounds for each

station. You'll do the first movement for one minute straight into the second

movement for one minute. Then you'll rest for one minute. You'll

do that for each of the three stations doing two rounds for stations one and

two and one round of station three, so there will be five rounds total.

Hopefully you got that and if not, let's dig a little deeper. At the start of go,

you'll do one minute of deadlifts straight into one minute of dumbbell

swings then you'll rest for one minute. Then you'll repeat the deadlifts and

dumbbell swings for another round each for one minute followed by one minute of

rest. That's two rounds of that first station and you will not come back to

that station again. Next you're moving on to lateral prisoner squats for one

minute then curtsy squats for one minute. Then you'll rest for one minute and

repeat the prisoner and curtsy squats one more time after the one-minute rest.

You'll move on to two minutes of farmers carry with high knee drives and you'll

only do this once. You're going to need a pair of dumbbells to be used with the

deadlifts, swings, and the farmers carry with the high knee drives. For the

lateral prisoner squats you will do a prisoner squat take one or two steps to

the side and then squat again - alternating directions that you step. For

the curtsy squats, you will alternate sides throughout the minute. Finally,

farmers carry just means holding the dumbbells in your hands with relaxed

arms standing tall while doing the high knee drives. Okay, that was long-winded

but the format is a little complicated so let's get going.

We have FIT Happy Hour athletes Becky and Kim - Becky

is in red and Kim is in blue and as always, you can check out the demo videos

before we get started if you need more information or a refresher on any of the

movements.

First up, we have deadlifts for one minute. We're gonna start in three - two -

one and go!

The target areas for the deadlift include the butt, hamstrings, back,

shoulders, and core stabilizers, and the purpose of the movement is to strengthen

those target areas. Here are some key points: drive through your feet thinking

about pushing away from the ground instead of pulling upwards and avoid

overextending the low back as you stand up, and keep the shoulders relaxed and

slightly back. Nice job - we have less than 20 seconds left before we switch to the

next movement which is dumbbell swings.

Alright, we're gonna switch in three - two - one and switch right into dumbbell

swings. If you need to do a small swing to get started that's perfectly fine and

you want to be swinging to just above shoulder height.

Remember that swings is a full body movement - we want to strengthen the

posterior target areas which includes the glutes and the hamstrings, so some

key points: here the power and movement comes from the hips not the arms, so keep

your arms relaxed and keep your head neutral and aligned with the spine

throughout the movement.

Great work - we have ten seconds left here and then we have a full one-minute break.

Three - two - one and rest for one minute. We're going to start back up at the 11

minute mark and we'll start our second round of those two movements starting

with one minute of deadlift.

Okay we're gonna start up with deadlift and round number two in three - two - one

and go!

We're going to be here for 45 more seconds - remember that you want to try to

maximize capacity in this one minute but you also want to maintain your form, so

whenever you need to rest you can do so and then start up again when possible.

Next up, we have dumbbell swings - we're going to switch here in three - two - one

and switch right into dumbbell swings for one minute.

Alright, we're gonna finish off with this round in three - two - one and rest.

You have one minute of rest and we're gonna start up at the 8 minute mark

starting with our third round which starts with one minute of lateral

prisoner squats.

We're gonna start up again in 30 seconds. We have lateral prisoner squats and

curtsy squats on this next round - we're gonna start in three - two - one and go!

Remember hands are gonna be behind the head and you're gonna keep your chest up. If

you're not getting full depth on those squats, that's alright - we want to step to

the side - get into a squat position with the feet and do a squat, so you can think

about doing prisoner squat step to the side - prisoner squat step to the other

side.

Nice job, we've got five seconds left and then we're gonna switch to curtsy squat -

and switch! So you're gonna step behind and squat down making sure that that

front knee doesn't pass the front toe, so trying to keep that shin as vertical as

possible. If you're feeling a little cramped in this movement, try and step

back a little bit further back and diagonally back.

Great job - we've got less than 15 seconds left here...

and we're gonna rest in three - two - one and rest for one minute.

We're going to start back up at the five minute mark and next up we have one

minute of lateral prisoner squats.

We have one more round of prisoner squats and curtsy squats and go!

Great job - you're halfway there so less than 30 seconds left on these prisoner

squats and then we'll switch to curtsy squats for one minute.

You're gonna switch in 3 - 2 - 1 and switch to curtsy squats.

Nice job - halfway!

You're gonna finish off this round in five seconds: three - two - one and rest for

one minute. We're going to start up at the two-minute mark and then you have

your final round which is going to be two minutes of farmers carry with high

knee drives.

Alright, we're gonna start up again in three - two - one and go. On these farmers

carries, remember to relax the arms but keep the shoulders back. This movement is

a little tougher than it looks and we're going to be here for a good chunk of

time, so pace yourself and focus on your form. Make sure you're driving through

the ground as you bring your knee up and you come up on the ball of your foot.

As always, if you need to rest for a second, you can just stand holding the

dumbbells or you can put the dumbbells down and continue with the high knee

drives without the weight. You can kind of make this your own by pushing yourself

at the appropriate level and making sure that you get as much out of this as you

can.

You have 45 seconds left on these high knee drives with the farmer's carry.

...and three - two - one and time! Be sure to cool down, stretch, and hydrate see you

next time!

CATALYST - FIT Happy Hour // Day 11 Workout - Duration: 16:09.

You have three rounds of two minutes of Turkish get up bridges, one minute of

rolling sit-ups, one minute of lunges with a reach, and one minute of diagonal

flying swords. For the Turkish get up bridges, you're gonna stay on one side

for a full minute then switch sides to complete the second minute. The lunges

will be alternating forward lunges with a reach to knee height and the

diagonal flying swords will be alternating for one minute. This workout

is a little different because there isn't a designated time to rest, so if

you need to rest, go ahead and do so and then just start up again when you're

ready, but the clock will keep rolling. We have FIT Happy Hour athlete Mary

leading the video today, and as always, you can check out the demo videos before

we get started if you need more information or a refresher. We're gonna

start with Turkish getup bridges in three - two - one and go:

Turkish get bridges. We're trying to stabilize and strengthen the target

areas. These target areas are the butt and hips, but this is truly a full body

movement. We're gonna be on each side for one minute so really pace yourself

through these. Your eyes should remain focused on your upper hand throughout

the movement and when bridging up, drive your heel

into the ground as you push away from the ground.

Pretend like you have a huge weight in that arm that's in the air and make sure your

hand is aligned under your shoulder for full support.

Alright, here we go - we have 15 seconds left on this side,

and we're gonna switch in three - two - one - go ahead and switch to the other side.

Make sure that the same arm and same leg are up - very nice job - you can see that

Mary has one foot on each side of the mat and that's a pretty good width for

the legs, so we want enough space for the hips to come up vertically instead of

pushing ourselves over on one side.

Nice job, we have about 15 seconds left on this side before you switch to the

next movement. We're gonna switch to rolling situps in three - two - one and go

ahead and switch.

For this movement, you're really using your momentum, so you can throw your arms

back over your head as your hips come up off the ground and then use that

momentum to get yourself up into the sit-up.

Here we go - we have about 15 seconds left for these rolling situps before we move

on to our next movement.

We're gonna switch to alternating forward lunges with a reach in two - one

and switch. Get a nice transition off the ground and we're gonna do a forward

lunge with a reach to knee height. Nice job - try and get a flow here with that

lunge first and then the reach to knee height. You want to focus in on

stabilizing and balance and then we can get in that reach.

Nice job here - we have about 15 seconds left before we switch to our last

movement which is diagonal flying sword.

We're going to switch here in three - two - one

and switch.

For this movement, you're gonna start by reaching up and stretching and then

coming down diagonally. The purpose of this movement is to increase the

elasticity in the tissues and improve your body awareness, so focus on your

breathing as you do this, and try to recover from the other movements that

you just did. Really enjoy this full body stretch - relax your body, and tune in to

how you're moving in space. This is one of the few movements where you can relax

the back without being strict as you bring your arms and body down towards

the ground.

You have about ten seconds left before we start from the top with the Turkish

get up bridges. We're going to switch here in three - two - one and go.

This is a complex movement, so we'll go over some of the key points again. Your

eyes should remain focused on your upper hand throughout the movement

and when bridging up, drive your heel into the ground as you push away from

the ground with your arm make sure that hand is aligned under your shoulder for

support.

Alright, we have 15 seconds left here before we transition to the other side.

We're gonna switch here in three - two -one and switch.

Nice work everyone - you guys are doing great.

Remember that the rest is built into the workout, so whenever you need to take a

break, go ahead and take the break and then start right back up when you're

ready. Nice work - we have rolling situps next. We're going to switch in three - two -

one and switch. Focus on your breathing here and also take notice of where your

eyes are so lead with your eyes on where you want to go.

We have about 15 seconds left, so hang in there. We're gonna switch to lunges in

three - two - one and switch. Make sure that your feet are not too narrow - you

shouldn't feel like you're on a balance beam; instead have your feet hip-width

apart the entire time. Use your glutes to get you out of the lunge position and

you can kick back with the leading leg to get you to the starting position.

You have about ten seconds left on these lunges before we switch to the Flying

Swords. And three - two - one and switch.

Be sure to relax here and really use this full body stretch to your advantage.

We have less than 15 seconds left here on these flying swords and then you're

gonna start up again with the Turkish get-ups

for our final round. We're gonna switch in three - two - one and switch.

I know these Turkish get up bridges are tough, so because this is the last round,

remind yourself this is the last time I have to do it on this side.

Great job, you're almost there. We're gonna switch to the other side in

three - two - one and switch.

Nice work! Once you finish off with this side of the Turkish get-ups, remember you

won't have to do these again for at least the rest of the day.

Alright, we're gonna switch to rolling sit-ups in two - one

and switch.

Nice job on these rolling sit-ups. We're gonna switch to lunges here in three - two -

one and switch. You guys are doing great here - you have less than two minutes

before you're done with the entire workout.

Alright 15 seconds left here on these lunges, and then we're gonna end

on a nice note with the alternating Flying Swords. We're gonna switch here in

three - two - one and switch, and this is our final minute of work for the workout. Try

to really enjoy this full body stretch - you really earned it today.

Alright we have less than 10 seconds here - way to finish strong. We're gonna be

done in 3 - 2 - 1 and time. Be sure to cool down, stretch, and hydrate... see you next

time!
