And soon after addressing at the Russian Duma, President Moon went to meet with Koreans living

in Russia,... where he told them...

there will be "no more war" on the Korean Peninsula.

Cha Sang-mi has the story.

Meeting with Russian officials, Russians of Korean descent as well as Korean nationals

living in Russia on Thursday, President Moon assured them there will be (quote) "no more

war" on the Korean Peninsula.

"The opportunity is here for historic peace on the Korean Peninsula.

There will be no more war on the Korean Peninsula from now on and cooperation between the two

Koreas will be expanded to three-way cooperation with Russia."

President Moon said he will be sitting down with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin

on Friday to discuss ways the two nations can cooperate for peace and prosperity on

the Korean Peninsula and in Eurasia.

He expressed gratitude to the Russian people who helped Korean independence activists on

their soil during Japan's colonial rule of Korea in the early-to-mid 20th century.

Noting that Seoul and Moscow will be celebrating 30 years of diplomatic relations in 2020,

Moon said the advancement in their bilateral relations during such a short time frame was

impressive.

"The development in our ties had sped up recently due to cooperation in the Far East region

and Eurasia.

Our bilateral trade volume reached 19 billion U.S. dollars in 2017, up 40 percent compared

to last year."

He stressed that the priority for Seoul-Moscow cooperation should be on the health and welfare

of the two countries' citizens.

Sharing his excitement for the Russia World Cup, he commented on sports and arts -- ranging

from Tolstoy's Anna Karenina musical shown in Korea and the K-pop and K-drama fever in

Russia -- saying they will surely bring South Korea and Russia even closer.

The head of Moscow Korean Association welcomed President Moon, expressing hope the reconciliatory

mood between the Koreas will lead to three-way cooperation with Russia.

As for the next generation of Russians of Korean descent and Korean nationals living

in the nation, President Moon vowed to provide support and expand scholarship programs, so

they can cherish Korean language and culture.

10 Tips to INSTANTLY make BETTER VIDEOS with your PHONE! - Duration: 8:25.

hello my friends to this beautiful place here in Thailand koh samui in this short

video i will show you 10 tips to bring your smartphone videography to the next level

so here we go

first tip: get an app where you can handle all the camera settings manual like exposure,

shutter speed, white balance, ISO and so on

for me, I use FiLMiC Pro, but you need to pay for it. So another app that's free is

Open Camera. Also a great app that i used before.

so because it's raining very much

let's go inside.

so because it's raining more and more we

are now inside to get this video done. Second tip: Frame Rate. Choose what

Frame Rate you want to use. 24 FPS, 25 FPS, 30 FPS, 60 FPS - it's totally up to you

and stick to it the whole video. sure you can multiply it and reduce it later to

make it slow motion or something like this, but for the first stick to it for

the video and get used to it. after you choose your Frame Rate, you should fit

your shutter speed to the Frame Rate. make sure that it doubles the Frame Rate. if you

record at 24 FPS your shutter speed should be 48 or 50 - that what's nearest

to it. Or if you shoot at 60 FPS fps set your shutter speed to 120 and so

on and so on. Third tip: Choose your exposure, white

balance and focus for your scene and lock it. it's very easy if you use the

FiLMiC Pro app because you have this little circle that you can move around

and set to a specific point. Then it automatically locks ISO, shutter speed

exposure and white balance to this specific point for the whole scene. And

you have this little quadrat that you can move around and set to the point where

you want the camera to focus on and then it's also automatically locked. that's

why I recommend to get the FiLMiC Pro app because it's so easy to work with it.

Tip number four: think about your video before actually recording it.

yes it sounds very simple but you should give it a try.

think about your video and try to create a story, because if you have a story it's

much more easy for your audience to catch your point and to follow your

video. Tip number five: use different perspectives. set up your camera high,

set it low, set it left, set it right. maybe get a wide angel lens, that you can

really easily put on your smartphone to create this wide angel look.

just play with it and be creative. i put you a link for the smartphone wide lens

into the description. it's only $30 or $40 - you should give it a try.

Next tip is: get an external microphone. the microphones on smartphones are not

the best if you want to create high quality audio. I have two options here:

#1 is the Rode VideoMic Me. you can easily put it in your smartphone and

then you have a directional mic in it. you also get this windshield - just put it

over and then you have great quality audio without wind noises. I used this

microphone for the first scenes. another option is a lavalier microphone.

you can easily put it into your smartphone or into an external audio

device like this, that you can put into your pocket and you are safe and have

great audio for the whole video. Tip number seven: get something to stabilize

your videos. no one wants to see all these shaky kind of footage. try to get some

clean footage. for this, you can get a monopod, tripod, stabilizer, gimbal -

something that you already have or something that you want to buy. if you

don't have one, you can maybe get something like a gorilla pod - there are also

some smaller gorilla pods for phones outside. or if you already have something

like a monopod or tripod or something like this, you can very easily use it for

your smartphone. just by a little smartphone adapter like this one.

you can easily put it onto your tripod and then you have a smartphone tripod.

Tip number eight: make your stills moving. what do I mean whit it...

see, if you watch my intro, it was totally recorded with my

smartphone using a tripod and the FiLMiC Pro app. nothing more. no other

one who helped me, only me, the tripod and my smartphone. I recorded all in

4k and now uploaded it in 1080p. so I had lots of room to play with it.

sometimes I started in top and moved it downwards or started left and moved it

to the right - all that can be done really easily in Adobe Premiere Pro or Adobe

After Effects. maybe I'll show it to you in an other video. let me know in the

comments, if you want to know how this can be done.

Tip number nine: get your

time to find the best fitting music for your video. sometimes it only takes three

or four minutes until you have a great song, but sometimes - like in my Denmark travel video -

I searched four or five hours to get the song for the intro, because I tried to

find some epic music that's not too fast, not too slow, not too loud and has some

really nice curves so that I could play with the video around. so sometimes it really

takes time but it's really worth it. so for me, I am signed to epidemic sound and

for a small monthly fee, you can get all this free stuff in music and sound

effects and so on. but if you don't want to pay something, you can also

use SoundCloud - There are some free songs you can use. So, go out and try to find a song that

really fits to your video.

Last tip for today: if you have your music, cut to your

music. so, your music goes up, it goes down, up, down - maybe sometimes slower, sometimes

faster - and try to fit your video to this music like you want to make a music

video or so. really try to cut to the music - sometimes to the beat - and it will be

awesome.

Just a quick bonus tip you you, before getting to the pool:

watch your favorite movies, TV series, YouTubers and analyze them. analyze which

music they use, how they cut, how they color grade, which perspectives they use, how

they set the focus and so on and so on and so on - and maybe try it in your own

videos.

Thanks so much for watching, I hope you got something out of it. like

the video if you liked it, dislike if you didn't and SUBSRIBE if you haven't

already. hit also the bell, so that you get informed, when I upload my next video

about filmmaking, photography or travel and check also the links in the

description - I put you some of the gear I used into the description.

Have a nice day, see you soon. BYE

Τα ηφαίστεια της Ελλάδας - Volcanoes of Greece - Sousaki, Aegina, Methana, Milos, Santorini, Nisiros - Duration: 13:13.

Earth.

Our Planet.

The planet that we live and evolve.

In Hesiod's Theogony, there are three main elements

Chaos, Gaia and Eros

Eros doesn't reproduce...

...but he has the power to connect other elements together.

Chaos produces Erevos and Darkness

and when those two got together they produced Air and Day.

Gaia, without mating, gives birth to Uranus

who has exactly the same size as Gaia

Gaia also gives birth to Mountains and Pontus (an ancient, pre-Olympian sea-god).

Gaia is responsible for the making of the world and creates the universe by giving birth to its elements.

Gaia is responsible for the making of the world and creates the universe by giving birth to its elements.

Gaia is responsible for the making of the world and creates the universe by giving birth to its elements.

According to modern science,

Earth was created 4,5 billion years ago

whereas life on earth began 4 billion years ago.

It is important to acknowledge

that the balance of all the elements on earth

is responsible for the occurence of life on our planet.

for the occurence of life on our planet.

for the occurence of life on our planet.

Earth's position in the solar system

its precession and rotation

as well as the existence and movement of the Moon around it

created the necessary environment

for all kinds of living organisms to evolve and flourish

including human beings

Therefore Earth is considered an alive planet

part of which are humans

and we are very influenced by its movement and its powers in general

and we are very influenced by its movement and its powers in general

and we are very influenced by its movement and its powers in general

Imagine Earth like a peach

Its pit would be the inner and outer core

the heaviest and hottest elements under tremendous pressure.

the heaviest and hottest elements under tremendous pressure.

Around the core we have the mantle (the flesh)

Around the core we have the mantle (the flesh)

which contains lava, various formations in semi-liquid state thousand degrees centigrade

Same formations are found in the crust but in solid state.

The crust which resembles the exocarp of a peach is our world that has all life present

The Crust is almost like floating on the mantle

divided in plates which are coming together or going apart

On the vast spaces between the plates we have the great oceans (Pacific, Atlantic)

On the vast spaces between the plates we have the great oceans (Pacific, Atlantic)

but when the plates crash into each other

we have the mountains and the volcanic arcs.

we have the mountains and the volcanic arcs.

In Greece there is a volcanic and island arc.

The volcanic arc is formed on the verge of the African plate which is immersing and melts.

which is immersing and melts.

The formations are also melting and become lighter

and as a result, they need to surface

This is how the volcanoes in Greece have been formed.

The location of the volcanoes is not random

as they are part of the volcanic arc which is located on the verge of the plate that immerses and melts.

The main volcanoes in Greece are

Sousaki, Aegina,

Poros, Methana,

Milos,

Santorini and Nisiros

These are the greek volcanoes on the present location of the volcanic ar

but it is important to know that

this volcanic arc used to be further on the north.

Volcanoes play a very important role in our lives

since they both release energy emerging from the core of the earth

as well as bring various formations on the surface which changes the ingredients and the morphology of the crust

A great example of this phenomenon is the Volcano of Santorini.

1631 bc. Greece

One of the greatest eruptions taken place in the world history is recorded

This eruption is directly linked with the Minoan and the Cycladic civilization.

One of the greatest classical archaeologists, Christos Tsountas

believed that this explosion in the minds of the habitats of the area

has been entered in the myth of Chimera

Attempting to give meaning to the 3 heads of Chimera

the Lion, the Goat and the snake

correspond to the three openings of the Caldera.

The lion's head with flames coming out is the main crater of the volcano.

This eruption was so significant

that it had been put into the myths of giant Talos as well as the Telchines

According to Yorgos Vougiouklakis, researcher and geologist of IGME,

the eruption was as strong as multiple atomic bombs similar to the one in Hiroshima.

During the first few days of the eruption, within 100km radius every living organism died

Tsunami waves started right after.

It is widely believed, that the Minoan civilisation was destroyed because of this eruption even though this is now under careful scrutiny.

The most recent activity of this volcano happens in 1950.

Parts of the volcano are Nea Kameni, Palea Kameni, the underwater crater of Columbo and Christiana islands.

The volcano of Santorini began erupting about 400.000 years ago.

Since the beginning the formation and destruction of the volcano has repeated itself 12 times every 20.000 years.

The most recent eruptive period is recorded between 1939 and 1941 and finally in 1950

which has given the final form in the island of Nea Kameni at the center of the Caldera.

Since then, the activity of the volcano has not influenced the habitats of the island.

Columbo, the underwater crater, is located 7km north east of Santorini.

It was discovered after a big eruption in 27 September 1650, one of the biggest in east Mediterranean

70 people passed away in Santorini because of this eruption

Today, this crater is located 18 meters below the sea and it has quite strong thermal activity.

Overall, the formations that have come out of the volcano has given Santorini its recent form.

The volcano is reportedly still active.

Milos is inhabited since prehistoric era

and has continuously provided rare elements and metals to the rest of Greece.

Tools and pieces of obsidian around 10.000 years old have been found in Argolida

which indicates the sea trade between Milos and habitats of greek mainland

During the Historic Era, Milos has provided other mineral products

such as Kaolin, Pozzolans and more recently Bentonite and Perlite.

Milos is a very important location for extraction of minerals that are exported worldwide

Regarding Nisiros, there's the myth of giant Polivotis

During the battle of the giants which precedes all battles,

Earth urged the mortal giants to fight against the immortal Gods of Olympus.

The Gods chased the giants that retreat scared.

Poseidon, god of the sea, had the order to exterminate Polivotis who was running away in the Aegean sea to save himself.

Poseidon had reached him close to the island of Kos.

Using his trident, he cut a part of Kos and threw it against Polivotis

He hit the giant and crashed him down.

This small part of Kos used to crash down the giant, became Nisiros.

The volcanic activity began 3.4 billion years ago with an eruption that unleashed great amounts of ashes.

In mainland Greece, close to the town of Aghioi Theodori, there is the volcano of Sousaki

It belongs in the same volcanic arc as Methana, Aegina and Poros.

It is located 180 meters above ground.

The last volcanic activity happened around 2.7 million years ago

however there is still post-volcanic activity with thermal gas

such as carbon dioxide, methane and hydrogen sulfide unleashed from underneath.

The Methana peninsula is located southeast of Sousaki

Methana is well known for the thermal waters and the volcano of Kameni Hora.

There are about 30 different volcanic forms in the peninsula.

The last volcanic activity took place undersea during 1700 in front of the town of Methana.

North of Methana there is Aegina a little island that consists of volcanic formations aged 4 million years.

Volcanoes are part of Earth.

They are also part of human history and civilisation

Humans are directly connect to volcanoes

as they have power to create as well as destroy forms of life

Studying their form, their creation and activity gives us more knowledge

so that we protect ourselves as well as benefit from volcanoes

And the truth is that even the ancient myths may hide some realistic facts which require our attention

Present conditions and history of inter-Korean family reunions - Duration: 2:16.

So if things go well today at the Red Cross Talks... separated families from the two Koreas

will be given a chance to see each other again on August 15th,... as agreed in the Panmunjom

Declaration during the inter-Korean summit on April 27th.

Kim Mok-yeon reports.

The history of separated families on the Korean peninsula stretches back to the Korean War

in the 1950s.

Millions of people were separated from their loved ones, with many not even having a chance

to say a proper goodbye.

But with the efforts of the Red Cross from both sides, the first historic reunion was

realized in 1985 when Seoul and Pyongyang held performances on the sidelines of the

40th Independence Day celebration, allowing some 30 citizens from each country to meet

their war-torn families.

And 15 years later in 2000, state-run reunion events and exchanges between families officially

kicked off, after the two Koreas agreed to cooperate on humanitarian issues at the June

15 inter-Korean summit.

The first historic reunion was held on August 15 that year, and was followed by another

19 face-to-face reunion events over the next 15 years, allowing nearly 20 thousand members

of some 4,100 families to see each other again.

Aside from face-to-face meetings, other types of exchanges such as seven video reunions

and 600 letter exchanges have also been made.

However, since 2015, such reunion activities have stalled…and South Korea has been calling

for an urgent revival of the reunion events since last year,... as there may not be much

time left for some of these families.

As of the end of May, almost 57 percent of the estimated 130 thousand family members

on the waiting list for reunions have died, with more than 85 percent of the remaining

survivors aged above 70 years old.

The North, meanwhile, had been demanding the repatriation of 12 female North Koreans, who

worked at a restaurant in China and came to the South in 2016, as a condition for the

resumption of the event.

But with the thawing of relations between the two sides lately, and with President Moon

Jae-in and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un agreeing on the Panmunjom Declaration, there

are high expectations that the family reunions will resume this year.

Mongolia repatriated 445 North Korean workers as of March 31st - Duration: 0:44.

In an effort to implement the United Nations Security Council resolution on Pyongyang,

Mongolia has repatriated four-hundred-45 North Korean workers between last December and the

end of March this year.

According to the implementation report on UN-SC Resolution 2-3-9-7, published on Friday,

Mongolia also expelled two-hundred North Korean workers in 2016.

The report also said Mongolia has not signed a new labor exchange agreement with Pyongyang

after the previous agreement expired earlier this month.

Resolution 2-3-9-7, which was adopted following Pyongyang's ICBM test in November 2017, requires

member states to repatriate North Korean workers by December 2019.

North Korea has blown up 4 'test sites': Trump - Duration: 1:51.

U.S. President Donald Trump says North Korea has already started its full-scale denuclearization.

Saying that the remains of American soldiers who died during the Korean War are being returned

to the U.S.,... he emphasized that Pyongyang is adhering to the agreement sealed at the

recent North Korea-U.S. summit in Singapore.

Our Kan Hyeong-woo has more.

During a cabinet meeting on Thursday, President Trump said North Korea has already entered

the process of denuclearization… specifically citing that Pyongyang is destroying its missile

test sites.

"They are destroying their engine site.

They're blowing it up.

They've already blown up one of their big test sites.

In fact, it was actually four of their big test sites.

And the big thing is it will be a total denuclearization, which is already starting taken place."

However, he did not clarify that these "blown up" facilities include the Punggye-ri nuclear

test site that North Korea already destroyed back in May.

Having said the remains of 200 fallen U.S. soldiers had been sent back from North Korea

the day before, Trump made it clear the process is ongoing.

"That they've already sent back or are in the process of sending back the remains of

our great heroes who died in North Korea during the war.

And that's already in the process of coming back."

He added that the relationship with North Korea is (quote unquote) "very good" and that

he and Kim Jong-un are going to create a brighter future for North Korea.

According to State Department spokeswoman Heather Nauert on Thursday, U.S. Secretary

of State Mike Pompeo will meet with North Korean officials at the earliest date possible

to implement the outcomes of the North Korea - U.S. summit.

But she said there were no meetings or travel plans to be announced at the current time.

Japan's reluctance to make history right and settle its past wrongdoings kept relations sour - Duration: 0:45.

Japan's efforts to get on North Korea's good side don't seem to be working out so well.

North Korea's official newspaper, the Rodong Shinmun.... brought up Japan's responsibility

for its wrongdoings during its colonial rule.

The paper said.... that relations between North Korea and Japan remain sour because

of Tokyo's reluctance to settle its past wrongdoings.

It added that....

Japan cannot hide or be free from its past,... and said, it should acknowledge its wrongdoings

and provide compensation.

The North Korean report comes just a day after the Japanese government announced that it's

halting all evacuation drills following the North's pledge to denuclearize.

Japan is the only one of North Korea's neighbors yet to hold summit talks with North Korean

leader Kim Jong-un.
