How to Figure Out Your Calorie Deficit in 2 Minutes Or Less! - Duration: 9:08.
what's up busy professionals! Carlo Macapinlac here from
NewbieFitnessAcademy.com and in this video I'm going to show you how to figure out
your calorie deficit in two minutes or less. I mean this is probably the number
one key to losing weight so you should definitely know how to do this, just
check out that guy. As always don't forget to like the video, hit that
subscribe button below and make sure you stick around until the end of the video
because I've got some cool stuff just for you. Okay so you want to start by
multiplying your body weight in pounds anywhere between 9 to 14. if you're a male
with an office job then you start at the mid range anywhere between 10 to 12, if
you're active and regularly workout then you're in the upper range between 12 to
14. You know what? Let me show you an easier way to do this. I'm gonna
introduce you to one of the most powerful things in existence when it
comes to tracking your macros and making sure that you're always in a caloric
deficit. It's an app called MyFitnessPal. Again, being in a caloric deficit is
probably the number one key to losing weight. You can eat all the "healthy" food
and I'm putting air quotes on the words healthy here and nutritious food on the
planet and that's important but if you overdo it and it puts you in a caloric
surplus you're not gonna lose weight, I promise. I mean that's not rocket science
right? You can't just freestyle this stuff. So I'm gonna hop behind my iPhone
screen here and talk you through the steps on how to use MyFitnessPal to
figure out your calorie deficit. Alright here we are
So first, Captain Obvious here, you have to download the app. This process stays
the same by the way whether you have an Android or iOS so let's go to the App
Store right now, hit the search button at the bottom right hand corner, hit the
search box and type MyFitnessPal. Scroll down a little bit and there it is
don't worry about the first one there it's just an ad then hit 'get'. Just do a
little confirmation and the app will start downloading. So once you have it
downloaded, just click on the app to open it. MyFitnessPal is probably one of the
most powerful tools when it comes to tracking your macros. The best part about
it is, it's free. They actually have a paid version of the app but we're not
gonna worry about that. The free version is more than good enough to get the job
done. Listen, you can't control what you can't measure. If you don't track what
you eat, your diet is always gonna be a guessing game. Okay so
you can either sign up for a new account or you can log in if you already have an
existing account. For the sake of this video we're gonna pretend that it's your
first time using the app so we're gonna click on sign up and I'll just walk you
through this quickly. You can either sign up with an email or use your Facebook
account. Let's go with the first option here. Next, the app is gonna ask you about
your fitness goal. I'm gonna assume that you're looking to lose weight here so
we're gonna go with the first option. Next, you're gonna choose your activity
level. I'm on my feet a lot so I'm gonna go with 'active'. Your daily calorie
deficit budget will depend on this. Just pick one that best suits your current
situation. You can always change this later. Next, you're gonna pick your gender
your birthday, and where you live. So we're just gonna go ahead and do that
Okay, once you're done, click the arrow on the top right hand corner. Next, you're
gonna list your height, your current weight, and your target weight. Now this
might be a reality check for some people especially if you haven't weighed
yourself in a while. But hey, you've got to start somewhere
right? Just a quick tip here, to get your most accurate weight, you want to make
sure that you weigh yourself first thing in the morning after doing your business
in the bathroom. That way, you'll have a completely empty stomach. Again, Captain
Obvious here, you'll also need a scale. Now, if you
don't have one handy and for the sake of following along this video, you can just
estimate how much you weigh and just change it later once you have a scale
Let's just say you're 170 pounds. Next, we're gonna pick our target weight. Let's say
you want to lose 10 pounds so we're gonna put 160. Next, you're gonna pick
your weekly goal. It's up to you how aggressive you want to be on this. The
more aggressive you are, the less calories you have to eat for the day so
just be aware of that. I usually like going with the recommended one-pound week
if you want to be more aggressive, you can go one and a half. Let's actually
look at what changing your weekly goals does to your calorie deficit number just
so you have an idea of what you should be aiming for and what you should expect
okay so you want to hit those three little dots at the bottom right hand
corner. Hit goals and right now I have it set at a default one pound per week and
let's quickly take a look at your calorie deficit number. So right now it's
at 2070 calories which isn't bad. You can definitely fit in a
lot of food in that calorie budget. Okay now let's see what happens if we change
it to one and a half pounds per week, hit back, then hit diary again and there you
go, it changes it to 1820 calories which is surprisingly not that
much less. Okay now let's see what happens if you're really aggressive with
this. Let's say you're going to Mexico in two weeks and you're still holding on to
your winter body. I don't recommend this by the way but I just want you to have
an idea of what crash dieting looks like. Okay so let's set our weekly goal
to two pounds per week and let's go back to our food diary and that gives us a
whopping 1570 calories. That's not a lot. If you want a general idea of what that
looks like, here's a couple of examples. A Cliff Bar,
which is like an energy bar sold here in North America has 250 calories. If you're
living off of 1,500 calories or so then that gives you six of these bars to eat
for the day or a McDonald's Big Mac with fries and a coke and two Cliff bars. You
get the point. But that's it. That's all you get. Most people eat that in one
sitting, you'll end up just inhaling air for dinner. One last note here you guys,
changing your activity level right here also affects your calorie deficit number
so just make sure that you pick the right one that best suits your current
situation. Okay let's finish signing up here, you're gonna enter your email
address and a password along with a username. Once you have all that taken
care of, you're gonna need to open up your email and verify your account. And
once you do all that, you can finally use your login information and you're gonna
end up on this page. This is your home feed. By the way a faster way of signing
up is just using your Facebook account to sign in. Either way works. Now based on
all the personal information that I gave MyFitnessPal when I signed up, I have
2230 calories that I can spend throughout the day. Your
number will most likely be different. It might be more or it might be less
Whatever it is, think of this number as your diet currency. It's your daily
calorie deficit budget. How much easier was that instead of doing it manually? It
just takes a couple of clicks to change your numbers and MyFitnessPal takes care
of the rest. Your job moving forward is to simply stay under your daily calorie
deficit budget if you want to lose weight, which means that if you blow your
entire budget for lunch because you crushed an entire pizza, then anything that
you eat on top of that will put you in a caloric surplus which probably means
you'll just have to drink water and go to sleep for dinner. You know what I mean?
Like, you have to be sensible about this. Maybe you can have a slice or two so you
can live a little you can definitely fit that easily in
your daily calorie budget. And hey, if you want to discover a way on how to get the
body you want while still eating whatever you want, then I highly
recommend that you stay until the end of this video. Okay I want to show you one
last thing here. I want you to head over to the food diary tab just to the left
of the 'plus' sign at the bottom of the page. This is MyFitnessPal's most
powerful tool. It's an extensive library of anything and everything on the planet
that you can think of when it comes to food. All you have to do is search for
the food that you're about to eat, either by typing it on the search bar or
scanning the food packaging's barcode. Set the right serving size and
MyFitnessPal will have the corresponding macronutrients or macros for short for
that specific food. Your job is to login all your meals throughout the day and as
mentioned earlier stay under your daily calorie budget. I'm gonna have a link at
the end of the video to one of my tutorials on how to use MyFitnessPal
if you want a more detailed explanation about this. So there you have it guys, a
painfully easy way on how to figure out your calorie deficit number in two
minutes or less. Now I'm all about making tiny little
changes in my life that add up to big results over time. What I've learned is
that you can't just go from zero to 100 miles an hour on this. You have to make
small changes that you can live with. Now if you guys want diet hacks that you can
easily apply to your daily routine, you can download my free ultimate diet hack

TWICE 모모,사나 X 새벽공방 X 애런 체크인라이브 - Duration: 1:10:22.
[V-ROOKIE] [HIDDEN TRACK NO.V x TWICE, SBGB, ARRAN]
1, 2, 3. One in a million.
- Hello, I'm Sana of TWICE. - I'm Momo.
Hello.
Hidden Track No. V. From June to July,
We got selected as KEYMAN.
[Congratulations, Keyman TWICE for June and July]
Momo, what do you think is the selection criteria for keyman?
It should be someone who's done V LIVE a lot.
I think so.
What we have to do is
introduce musicians and their music.
So above all, it should be someone who loves music.
That's right. What do you think is love, Momo?
Love is supposed to be as sweet as candy.
It makes you be on cloud nine.
That's what love would feel like.
I agree with "love is as sweet as candy".
But I think love makes you curious.
For example, what kind of person he is and what he likes
and what he is doing now.
I'd be curious about those stuff.
I'd be curious. I think that's what love is.
- But... - Right. - That's right.
I'm in love with something these days.
- What is it? - Is it okay to reveal? - Yes.
It's a secret, but I can reveal it right now?
- You should. - OK. I got it.
I fell in love with something lately.
Hidden Track No. V's new Locker.
Here comes SBGB and Arran. Welcome.
Welcome.
Hello.
- Let's sit down. - Shall we sit down first?
To the viewers of Hidden Track No. V
please say hello.
- Now SBGB, please go ahead. - Hello.
We're SBGB.
I'm Heeyeon, guitarist and vocalist of SBGB.
I'm Yeowoon, leader and keyboardist of SBGB.
- Nice to meet you. - Nice to meet you.
Now Arran.
Hello, I'm Arran, Synth-pop singer-songwriter.
Nice to meet you.
- Nice to meet you. - Nice to meet you.
I'm a little nervous since this is a live show.
A live show has some merits.
Sure, a lot.
We do live V LIVE shows quite often.
We can communicate with the viewers
in real time through the comments.
I think that's a great perk.
If you have any questions for SBGB and Arran,
please write it in the comments.
Then we'll read your questions to them.
Shall we look at the comments?
- Now... - A little later.
We'll read your comments a little later.
We're going to start Check In Live.
Sana, please introduce the segments.
We prepared a great segment.
We're going to talk about
how they have become a musician.
We'll get to know our guests.
This is our first time to do this live show, so we're very nervous.
Usually when we make mistakes, we pretend that nothing happened
and start over with this thing.
So this is for us.
Please kindly understand even if we make mistakes.
- Please kindly understand it. - All right?
- I think this thing will appear often today. - Last time,
it was pre-recorded.
But we're doing a live show for the first time, so I'm very nervous.
Right. I'm really nervous right now.
My body is shaking.
- You can't see, right? But I can feel it. - Right.
We have this script, but you know... right?
- I do. - You know what I mean?
- Yes, shall we proceed? - OK.
If you look at this, seeds, plant, flower, fruit.
There are 4 stages.
Momo, here.......
- Please start from the seed. - It's the seed stage.
[Stage 1. Seed] [Childhood stories]
I've never heard of this Korean proverb before.
I'm not sure if I can pronounce it right.
A fine child becomes a fine man.
- Did you understand it? - Yes I did.
- Did you understand it? - I did.
I didn't understand it, so I asked Jeongyeon.
I wish I could understand it.
Now Momo, could you explain what this means?
It means those who have potential shows some talent.
Did you have musical talent when you were little?
Arran, what was your childhood like?
I can't remember it well.
From what I heard from my parents,
when I was little, when there was a party,
I loved singing and dancing in front of people.
It's not like I did it well, but I seemed to enjoy it.
I guess you had the talent from your childhood.
The other day... I mean, we danced together.
You were such great dancers, so we were surprised.
I got some photos, everyone.
- Are you curious? - Yes.
These are Arran's childhood pictures.
Let me show you.
[Arran's cute childhood picture] So cute.
- Cute. - Did you just see my hand shaking?
I did.
It's all right.
In her hands... I'm so nervous!
She's holding carrots. So cute.
But it's a little... How can I put this?
- She looks so similar. - I know, right?
- She still has that baby face. - People ask me if it was taken the day before.
- I know. - If it was taken the day before. - Right.
- You look the same. - Right.
- Chaeyoung looks the same as she did when she was a child. - Right.
Yeah.
How old were you in this picture?
I think I was around 5. I was in kindergarten.
- So cute. - Do you remember any song at that time?
My father loved popular Korean songs.
He played those songs often.
When we were in the car we used to listen to them.
What I remember the most were
the songs by S#arp. I listen to their songs so many times.
My father is their huge fan.
So I remember I listened to their songs a lot.
- Thanks to your father, - Right.
He had a big influence on you.
Arran, you won first place for singing in Busan City, is that true?
Yes, it was a student music festival
organized by the education office of Busan City.
I won first place in that festival.
And one of the winners of that festival
is an artist who's in the business. Who is it?
The runner up of the festival is
Sandeul of B1A4.
- Sandeul is great at singing. - Right.
And you won first place. We have to listen to that song.
- Can you sing a little bit? - Then just a little bit.
The song goes like this.
You have incredible voice.
- Thank you. - I love it.
How about SBGB?
Have you realized that you have a talent for music?
I always love to sing.
I went to karaoke with my friends when I was in junior high.
When my friends sang, they were loud
but when I sang, they focused on my singing.
So I thought I'm talented.
I understand.
Heeyeon, you've always been a great singer since you were a kid.
It's not like that.
You're gifted.
Yeowoon, you said in 5 Minute Radio
that you started playing the piano when you were 5.
Did you realize that you had a talent for music from that time?
It wasn't that I wanted to learn how to play the piano.
I was forced to learn the piano by my mother.
So I was less excited about it and got to quit.
While preparing for college entrance,my teacher told me that I have a sense of perfect pitch.
That's when I realized that I'm musically inclined.
Then if you hear any random song,
you can play it right away?
I can copy a little bit.
[Absolute pitch test] - In that case... - I can't wait.
Let's go!
- Hit the music, please. - Please pretend you ever hear my mistakes.
Ringtone.
Amazing.
My hands shook a little bit.
Ringtone.
I thought for a second that our director got a phone call.
- That's understandable. - That made me think so.
That was incredible.
- Don't you want to hear another one? - Yes.
One more time, please.
I'm so nervous.
Amazing.
- It was so great to hear the piano sound. - Right.
It's my personal favorite.
- Right. - I always felt good during filming.
Thank you for singing.
- It was short. - I loved it.
I hummed to myself.
Shall we move on now?
- Shall we? - Shall we?
Not only Arran and Heeyeon who can sing so well,
but Yeowoon who's a piano prodigy. It's time to check out their music.
You've waited for a long time, right?
First off, Arran, what kind of song are you going to sing?
I'll sing the song I used to hear a lot when I was kid.
The song I'm going to sing is "Sweety" by S#arp.
Let's hear "Sweety" by Arran.
Let's give her a big hand!
[Sweety x Arran] [Original song by S#arp]
[Please leave your questions for Arran and SBGB in the comments]
Thank you.
It was "Sweety" by Arran.
Will you please introduce the gentleman?
He's DJ TAK, who is a producer and DJ.
- Nice to meet you. - Good to see you.
Hello, let me introduce myself.
I'm DJ and producer TAK.
- Hello. - I'm here to play the keyboards for Arran.
Also, I'm here for as a playback DJ.
- Nice to meet you. - Nice to meet you.
Will you be with us till the end?
I'm going to assist her.
Some viewers are saying, "Now I know why she won first place'.
- Thank you. - They like your song.
Last time, you sang "Sweet Talker" for us.
You sang the slow song so well.
I thought you were good at singing that genre.
Now I realized that you're good at singing exciting songs and rapping.
I am a bit nervous today.
I prepared some exciting songs.
I hope you can enjoy my performance.
Your cheering sound encouraged me up a lot.
- It was so exciting. - Right.
Personally, I came to think
that she would sing songs by S.E.S very well.
- I'd like to challenge. - Thank you.
DJ TAK, thank you for your performance in advance.
SBGB, what song will you sing today?
Yeowoon played the piano showing her sense of absolute pitch.
We chose one of our songs to show off Yeowoon's piano skills.
It's "Something Happens In This Afternoon".
Let's hear SBGB's "Something Happens In This Afternoon".
Applause!
[Something Happens in This Afternoon X SBGB]
[Please ask questions to SBGB and Arran]
Thank you.
It was "Something Happens In This Afternoon" by SBGB.
Many viewers have left comments while you were singing.
ID Lee Yoonseon and Park Sanghoon said, "Nice voice".
"GB sisters, it feels so nice". From ID Kangta.
Thank you.
- GB sisters. - Did you like it?
As viewers said in their comments, your voice is so pretty
and your keyboard performance was so nice.
Someone said her ears were melt.
That exactly described how I felt.
- Thank you. - Right.
Now, the seed...
This part was so challenging.
A seed grew up and shot out the bud. I've never heard of this sentence.
- A seed grew up... What was shot? - The bud.
It shot out the bud.
[Stage2. Stem] Momo, what are we going to talk?
We'd like to talk about episodes where they were recognized by their talents.
Arran, what was the first song that made your name known to the public?
I registered many songs on Musician League.
One of them is "Fine New Day," which I worked with TAK.
I had written the top line
and this song made my name known to the public.
I got some fans thanks to "Fine New Day".
I think my career started to shoot out the bud then.
Arran, you worked as a producer and lyricist, too.
What's the most popular song among those you worked?
It was introduced as a hint for who I am.
I guess it's "Twinkle" by Lovelyz.
Ding dong daeng!
I think that's the most-loved song among my works.
Arran's music is somewhat different from "Twinkle".
I think it's amazing that you can sing and produce songs of different styles.
SBGB, what's the song that made your name known?
We registered this song on Musician League.
It was "Cardcaptor Cherry".
A lot of music fans liked it.
We released the song. After the release,
many people asked us to sing "Moonlight Angel".
So we released that song, too.
I guess these two helped us shoot out the bud.
Right, when we performed on 5-minute Radio,
I heard your "Cardcaptor Cheery" and I loved it.
Because your voice was so sweet.
- Right. - SBGB's voice and performance were so pretty.
As two sang and played together,
it showed your charm and special sentiments.
- Right. - Thank you.
Let's hear the songs that revealed their musical talent?
Arran, what will you sing?
I will sing "Fine New Day," which I just mentioned.
- The song that DJ TAK worked. - Please.
Arran wrote this song and
I thought it was so cool.
But I wanted to change it, to make it more listener-friendly.
So I changed the beat in a more cheerful way.
SBGB, what will you sing?
A video clip of "Cardcaptor Cheery" will be aired soon.
- So, we will sing "Moonlight Angel" live. - Good.
Let's hear Arran's "Fine New Day"
and SBGB's "Moonlight Angle".
Applause!
[Fine New Day X Arran (with TAK)]
[Please leave questions to SBGB and ARRAN]
- So exciting. - So exciting.
[Moonlight X SBGB]
[Please leave questions to SBGB and ARRAN]
Thank you.
We've heard songs by Arran and SBGB. Momo, how did you feel?
Two teams have unique characters.
I wish viewers can
enjoy this live performance here.
- I'm so glad that we can hear it live. - Right.
That is so amazing.
Others are watching monitors
but we can enjoy it on the site. I am so glad.
I am more thankful since TWICE is here with us.
Your pretty faces...
- I like that, too. - Thank you.
This is a question for SBGB.
Arran, will you read it please?
This is a question for SBGB.
ID Tuscana asked how you two made the team.
We were on a blind date.
A blind date?
- We were on a blind date. - Right.
I was a singer song-writer.
Yeowoon was a composer who released albums with different vocalists.
I heard she looked for a vocalist, and I wanted to see her.
When we met, we clicked and started working as a team.
Is your blind date the blind date?
Is it a blind date to gather singers or...
- I don't want to go out with her. - She dumped me three times.
I asked her to for a band and Heeyeon rejected three times.
- Why? - Because I'm careful.
I looked for band members who can do it for the rest of my life.
But we met very recently and she asked to do a band.
So I rejected.
But finally, we made a band.
Your combination or
chemistry looks so great.
You, too.
As Momo said,
- I wish people can enjoy your performance live. - Right.
It would be so nice if you can perform live in front of people.
Next is the question for Arran.
SBGB, will you ask it to her?
From ID Tzuyu Grew Up.
"Who is the singer who Arran likes respects the most?"
I respect and like many singers.
If I have to choose one,
I always say Beyonce.
She has her super star aura.
Her performance is amazing. No one can disagree.
I respect her and like her songs.
Me, too.
- We're on a concert tour now. - Right.
- She sang Beyonce... - I performed Beyonce's song.
Another question.
It's from Iseulbi.
"When did you start playing the guitar?"
- Me? - Yes.
I started playing the guitar since I was in middle school.
My sister and I went to SS501's concert.
A member of them played the guitar at the concert
and my sister asked my mom to buy an electric guitar.
She quit playing after awhile.
I picked it up, started playing, and became a musician.
It's hard to play the guitar, right?
It's hard to pick up chords.
So...
This is a question for both teams.
- Oh... - Puppy. - Puppy?
- Puppy. - ID Puppy.
"When..."
- "When you write a song..." - "When you write lyrics or a song," - I can't see.
"Is there any jinx or habit?"
Starting from Arran.
When I write lyrics or compose a melody,
I don't want to finish it at one place.
I like to move the places.
I usually write song at home, continue to write more at a cafe.
I keep moving back and forth between places.
That's who I get more ideas about lyrics.
More, more.
- May I answer now? - Yes, please.
I like when I can compose the entire song at one try,
but it is not as good as I thought, when the complete version comes out.
Similar.
When the verse 2 part is left,
when I work on it and modify the song, the quality of song is better.
You two are similar but it's different for me.
I need to finish the work at one go.
If I move to another place in the middle, I usually mess up with it.
So I have to finish making one quickly.
If I can't finish, I would throw it away.
What if you're thirsty while making a song?
- Will you give up on drinking water? - I can do that.
- What about going to the toilet? - That's...
The distance would be similar, getting water or visiting the bathroom.
It refreshes my thoughts.
So I try to finish it at one go.
Very different.
You two are similar, right?
I will drink water.
Let's put a bottle of water on the table before you start.
Two of you have beautiful voices, so there are many questions like this.
This is the last question.
"How do you care your throat?"
Arran, please.
The more I take care of my throat, the more I am sensitive.
I have more worries about it.
So I usually don't do anything special.
On the previous day before a performance scheduled,
I drink a lot of water.
It's important to sleep well, too.
Sleeping well and drinking water a lot. That's my special care for throat.
- Right. - Right.
- Then... - I drink a lot of water, too.
I drink balloon flower root honey tea, before an important show.
On the day when I sing, I don't talk much and say in a lower tone.
- Lower tones. - That helps to keep your voice in shape.
When I keep my voice down...
- You need to warm you throat up, to have a good voice. - Right.
I think I should not talk a lot.
That's how I maintain the best condition for a performance.
Every singer has his or her own way. How can I say?
I think viewers in the music industry
would learn a lesson from your ways.
That's nice.
Momo, the next stage is a flower. We're at the flower stage already.
[Stage3. Flower] In this stage, TWICE, SBGB and Arran
will talk about us on Hidden Track No.V.
Sana?
It's called "Preference Shuffle".
It's time to find what we have in common.
Let's read our answers to a preference survey.
First question. Your favorite food.
Shall we check it out?
Hang on.
1, 2, 3!
Ta-da!
- All is different. - Right,
I thought about this a lot.
Our fans would know.
- I like eating too much and it was hard to choose. - Right.
- Sorry? It was hard to what? - Um...
- It was hard to choose. - It was hard to choose.
- Sorry. - Sorry.
It was hard to choose.
I heard it was hard to chew.
Shall we read what each other wrote?
Starting with Arran.
I like ramen.
As I said before, I like noodles.
I love ramen, if I choose one.
- Ramen in Kimchi stew is so delicious. - Right.
- I know. - Right? - It's delicious.
Do you have any place to recommend?
Place? My home.
- My place. I'm good at cooking ramen. - May I come to your place?
- Please come. - I thought she would say no.
Sana?
I guess our fans would know. I said Soy Sauce Marinated Crab.
Actually, I had lunch with Momo and our manager.
A few days ago, I tried Korean Sausage and Rice Soup first.
It was so delicious and I had it again today.
So it was hard to choose between them.
But Korean Sausage and Rice Soup tastes different per restaurant.
Right.
The last one was so delicious but today's was just...
Let's stop saying.
Because our manager ordered that for us.
- Manager, we enjoyed that. - It was delicious, though.
Next, Momo.
I said "Meat, these days".
What? You always like meat, not just these days.
I added "these days" because it was hard to choose.
I like so many types of food.
So I wrote black pork meat.
I know why she said so.
Whenever we ask her about what to eat,
she always mentioned the barbecue places.
I thought she wanted to have grilled meat.
- Let's go to have barbecue later. - Okay.
- Later. - Okay.
Then...
It's pizza for me.
What kind of pizza do you like?
May I say the brand name?
There are many brands, like Mister Pizza, Domino Pizza.
I want the crust is just medium, not too think or too thick.
- Me, to. - With a bit of crust and cheese. - I know.
Right, it's tasty.
- Well... - What kind of toppings?
It's my personal taste but I like the crust.
- Crust? - Yes. - That's true.
When members have pizza all together,
some members don't like to eat crust parts.
- Momo says, "Will you leave it?" - Right, I eat all the crust left.
- Really? - I like it a lot.
- Three of you, go to have pizza. - I will have cheese.
Next. Sashimi.
I like Sashimi.
Why?
But Heeyeon can't eat sashimi.
- Really? - When we visit Busan or Jeju Island for a performance,
we always spend several days there for a trip.
- Since Heeyeon can't eat sashimi, - Eat black pork meat, instead.
we actually had black pork meat for 3 days in Jeju.
So, I eat chicken, pork and cow with Heeyeon
but can't eat sashimi.
Isn't it better? You can enjoy sashimi alone.
But Heeyeon has to eat rice alone. That's not efficient.
If you order Grilled Jumbo Shrimp, I will have it.
- When Heeyeon is not around... - Then, let's go together. - Right.
We have a member who doesn't like sashimi.
When we go to have sashimi... How can I say?
- You will have hot soup there. - Spicy fish stew.
She dips a piece of raw fish in it.
- Like Hot Pot. - It's cooked. - She eats like that.
- I do, too. - Let's go. - Let's go to eat together.
If you go to Jeju Island...
It was about our tastes.
Let's move on.
Did we too concentrate on this? The 2nd one is...
Leisure... Oh, sorry. Sorry.
"What's your best favorite season?"
Please show your answer on a count of three.
1, 2, 3.
Ta-da.
Wow, you're a great team.
What about us?
We're a good team. I said spring, too.
- The best team. - Am I the only one
- who said winter? - She wrote it in the middle.
What about you, TAK?
I like fall.
Then, you need to move there.
Bad teamwork, I guess.
Why do you like winter?
I like unique colors of winter.
- Colors? - When I take a picture of the same place,
it's different in winter. Maybe, it's because of my feeling.
But pictures look different, when it's taken in winter.
- The colors are a bit different. - I see.
I like the scent of winter and the atmosphere.
So I like winter.
I don't like cold weather in winter
but you can see your breath in winter.
Even when it's freezing cold,
- it makes me feel warm. - Isn't it pretty?
Pretty. So I wrote winter, finally.
Because I like the season without mosquitoes.
I like spring, too.
Do you like mosquitoes?
Do I like mosquitoes?
I've never heard of such a question.
Did you mean that you like the season where mosquitoes are flying?
I hate it!
I thought you liked it.
I thought how weird such a person is.
Some may like mosquitoes. Who knows? There maybe some.
I have never seen such a person.
Me, neither.
Have you asked such a question?
- Sorry? - You've never asked if a person likes mosquitoes.
Well, we don't ask such a question.
- Right. - Momo.
I like spring.
It's neither too hot nor too cold.
The weather is nice. So I said spring.
Spring is a nice season.
- Clothes are not too thick. - Right.
Cherry blossoms are pretty, too.
Spring is a nice season.
- I like autumn. - Me, too.
- Cute. - I hate summer. Because it's too hot.
- It's hot these days. - Right.
The weather is warm and cool in spring.
When it's fall, it feels like "Summer is over. It's going to be cool". So I like fall.
That's similar to me. I can't concentrate in summer.
- Because it's too hot. - Too hot and humid.
I don't like anything about summer, except for raining.
In fall, everything feels relaxed.
- That's why I like fall. - I see.
- I think fall is a nice season, too. - I understand that.
I hate when it rains.
- Really? I make a song when it rains. - Me, too. - Right?
I don't like it. I'm scared of thunder and lightning.
- Whenever it rains, they appear. - They...
That's...
The last question is about your hobby.
What do you do during your free time?
Please show your answer! 1, 2, 3!
- Then... - Shall we read in the opposite direction?
- I mean, this time. - The opposite direction?
Did I write too many?
I wrote cooking, sports and riding a bicycle.
That's a lot. You like a lot of things.
Is it because I have a lot of time?
But those are nice things. We like to learn how to cook.
- I like cooking. - Are you good at cooking?
Yes, but I can't cook Korean Sausage and Rice Soup.
Heeyeon likes to cook.
- Did you not write it? - I wrote. - You did.
SBGB members are feminine.
Not always.
- Good for you. I want to cook well. - Really.
Both of you like riding bicycles, too.
Do you ride bicycles together?
We do. But her place is far from mine. So we can't do that frequently.
But we went to the riverside and enjoyed riding bicycles.
- Good. - What about you, Momo? Riding a bicycle.
- You know I can't ride it. - I didn't say that.
Those are good hobbies for health.
Cooking...
And they like sports, too.
Those are good for health. Riding a bicycle, too.
- Those are good hobbies. - Good hobbies.
My hobby is have delicious food.
If we have time, with Sana,
we ask each other about what to do after work
go to restaurants to enjoy food.
We need to eat something delicious, no matter how tired we are.
Right, we eat and sleep.
- We fall asleep after earing. - Right.
Our faces look puffy in the morning.
I said shopping and sleeping.
It was when we visited Singapore. I was so sleepy.
I was so tired on the next day of our concert there.
But I wanted to buy things. So I went shopping,
slept after it, and slept during the flight,
and slept after returning to Korea.
Shopping and sleeping. Those are my favorite hobbies.
Right.
Arran.
I like to take a walk.
I don't sleep much.
I don't sleep for too long.
Whenever I have some time,
when I come home after finishing work,
I usually walk on a trail in front of my place.
I just keep walking, enjoying some music.
I'm not a big fan of exercise but I do walk.
- You like walking. - Yes.
- Listening to music? - Yes, while walking.
Do you sing while walking?
If there's nobody, I would do.
Right.
I think this is a good idea.
Let's go to Han River. You two please ride bicycles,
and walk to there. We will go there somehow.
Let's eat ramen together
and sleep.
That's the perfect holiday!
While we talked about our preferences, time passed.
Sana, shall we invite each them to sing a song?
They re-arranged TWICE songs in their style.
SBGB, what did you prepare?
When we heard that Sana and Momo would be the MC of Hidden Track No.V,
we thought TWICE fans would watch this.
So we prepared this song to make them happy.
- ONCE will love this. - ONCE, shout out loud!
Those who say wow in the comments are our fans, ONCE!
So...
Arran, you sang this song at your concert.
At the concert... "TT" was so popular then.
It's still popular.
So I sang the remix version of "TT" at the concert.
Fans liked it so much!
- Thank you. - So, I'll sing "TT" remix version.
- Did DJ TAK remixed it? - Yes.
- Right. - Thank you. Can't wait to hear that.
Let's invite Arran and her remix version of "TT".
Applause!
[TT X Arran with TAK] [Original song by TWICE]
- So exciting. - Right.
Thank you.
This version is... you know.
- Right. - It feels different.
- It's "TT" but it's more exciting. - I know what you meant.
I'm so curious about SBGB's song.
Arran did a great job.
We're not good at dancing. So we were nervous.
We prepared three songs.
"What Is Love?," "Heart Shaker" and "KNOCK KNOCK".
We prepared an acoustic medley version.
So excited to hear that!
Let's enjoy SBGB's medley!
Give them a big hand!
[What Is Love? - SBGB] [Original song by TWICE]
[Heart Shaker - SBGB] [Original song by TWICE]
[KNOCK KNOCK - SBGB] [Original song by TWICE]
Thank you!
Arran and SBGB sang TWICE songs.
Momo, how did you like it?
Their versions were different from our original songs.
The two teams' songs showed their unique colors.
I liked DJ TAK's beat.
Thank you very much.
- And... - I'll do a better job.
- She showed some dance. - Right.
Thank you for your song. So excited.
- Thank you. - Really.
It was more exciting than the original version.
Thank you.
SBGB sang a medley.
Your voice was so...
While listening, you know. Really...
It was a medley and
- they played the piano, and changed the mood. - Right.
The mood was so... How can I say?
- It changed so smoothly. - Right.
- They are so talented. - They sang three songs continuously
- and I liked it. - Thank you.
- When they sang "KNOCK KNOCK," - "KNOCK KNOCK".
- it was so cute. - Really.
Both teams have different charms.
It's good to hear, it's exciting.
How can I say...
- Its' so refreshing. - Right.
- I loved it. - Refreshing versions.
- I love it. - I loved their songs.
- ONCE would have loved it. - Right.
Well, we have the last stage.
[Stage 4. Fruit] Sana, do you know what this fruit mean?
[Fruit of Hidden Track No.V] - This fruit? - Yes.
[Hidden Track Work Plan] It means the hidden track digital song
to be released after Hidden Track No.V ends.
Right.
It's going to be the next month. Two teams will release their songs digitally on July 25 at 6 PM,
and at 8 PM on the same day,
they will present their live performance at "Check-out Live".
I can't wait to see their performances on Check-out Live!
My personal opinion.
Arran, please tell us what kind of fruit you will produce for viewers.
Soon, it will be summer.
I want to liken my song to the green apple there.
When you date someone in summer, your heart starts fluttering.
I will make a song to describe such experiences.
I guess those who starts dating in summer will love that!
I look forward to hearing a song that feels so fresh.
SBGB, what kind of hidden track will you produce?
When we were cast for Hidden Track No.V, Yeowoon starts writing a song.
But there's no title. If we introduce the song,
will you make a title for us?
I'd like to explain how I made that song.
One night, I turned off the light and lied on the bed.
But it was bright outside the window.
Because of the moon, which was bigger than usual, shining bright.
It felt like the moon came to my room to hear my stories.
So this song is about a girl who confesses
her crush to the moon, like a children's story.
Will you recommend a title?
Hello, Moon.
- Pretty. - Pretty!
- Pretty. - So nice. - Really.
- Anything else? - Another?
- Moonlight. - Moonlight.
- Nice ideas! - So pretty.
Will you choose one out of the two?
As a candidate...
Will you recommend one more?
- One more? - One more. We'll choose one out of three.
Moon...
I hope to have the moon in the title.
Moon, be my friend.
- Moon, come play with me. - Moon.
Moon, come to me.
To the moon.
- To the moon? - We have six, right?
- Moon, be my friend. - Moon, come to me.
Moonlight.
I'll discuss with Heeyeon and release our song under that title.
- So excited! - Thank you.
Arran and SBGB's hidden track songs will be
digitally released on July 25, at 6 PM.
They will perform live on Check-out Live at 8 PM on the same day.
Sana and Momo will be there for Check-out Live, too.
Today's Check-in Live is just a beginning.
TWICE's 5 minute radio,
and Tuesday-Sa-Mo-Show will wait for you!
There will be another segment titled Tuesday-Sa-Mo-Show.
Please give a lot of attention and support to the two teams.
We will watch video clips and spot live performances, too!
How did you feel about this live show?
Arran, please.
It was such an honor for me to be here. I had a lot of fun.
I was glad to talk about many things with you.
I will work hard to make a good song.
Please look forward to that.
SBGB, please.
I was nervous about this live show and worried about it.
When it started, I had a lot of fun
and I am glad that it went well.
Now we have Check-out Live and VOD releases.
I wish we can finish those well, too.
DJ TAK, how did you feel?
I'd like to thank SBGB for such nice songs.
Momo and Sana, thank you for being with us.
Thank you for listening to our version of "TT". Thank you so much.
We will be back with better tracks.
Thank you so much.
Sana, will you say bye?
Shall we?
All right. One in a million, we're TWICE!
- Thank you - Thank you.
Bye.

Bob Gibson, former L.A. Times foreign editor, dies at 89 - Duration: 9:57.
Robert W. Gibson, a veteran journalist and editor known for dramatically transforming a paltry Los Angeles Times foreign desk, died Friday at Huntington Hospital in Pasadena after suffering several health issues, including pneumonia
He was 89. At 6 feet 4 and known for lumbering about with his bald head down in thought, Gibson cut a formidable figure in the newsroom, an image that belied his compassion for reporters and knack for magic tricks
Advertisement His fascination for foreign reporting was ignited when he found himself covering the Korean War at 22, enthralled by his seasoned peers
Multiple overseas experiences would eventually inform his role as foreign editor of The Times, where he was tasked by publisher Otis Chandler with enhancing a scant staff
As the paper's international bureaus increased, so did its esteem. "Until Bob we had no reputation for foreign coverage — it was virtually non-existent," said Alvin Shuster, who succeeded Gibson in the position
"I think we had maybe two or three people at most. As the staff grew and we got to more than 30, obviously our coverage became more extensive, analytical and complete
" Raised in St. Louis, Gibson was accepted to Harvard University but declined after his father, an executive with Procter & Gamble, was transferred to California
The family settled in San Marino, and Gibson, an only child, chose Stanford University so he could stay close
He graduated in 1950 after studying journalism and political science and thought he had landed a job with the Long Beach Press-Telegram — until the offer was quickly rescinded when North Korea invaded South Korea and the paper didn't want to hire someone who would soon be drafted
Gibson then met up with a friend in Honolulu, where he stayed after being hired by what was then United Press Associations, the agency that would send him to Korea
Drafted by the Army at 26 and placed in a public information office, he went on to write for McGraw-Hill Inc
's news service in London. Known for refusing to go off the record, he once secured an interview with J
Paul Getty by tracking down the oil tycoon's hotel. While a correspondent in Moscow — where he and his first wife, Carol, spent two grueling winters under Soviet rule — the journalist declined a request by the Russian government to become a spy
The couple lived in New York while Gibson was an associate editor for Business Week but left for Los Angeles after a doctor suggested that their son's respiratory condition might be improved by a new locale
Their three children — Christopher, Paula and Valerie — would grow up in La Cañada Flintridge and South Pasadena
In 1964, less than a year after starting at The Times as the economics columnist for the editorial section, Gibson was handed the helm of the foreign desk
Robert W. Gibson in 1964 or early 1965 at the beginning of his tenure as Foreign Editor of the Los Angeles Times
(Los Angeles Times) "He felt so strongly about the importance of good journalism and putting reporters into positions around the world, particularly in countries where there had been a great deal of repression," recalled Tom Johnson, who became the paper's publisher in 1980
"He believed in opening up the world for information, knowing as much as we could in places where a free press didn't exist
" Under Gibson, foreign reporters flew first class and were provided staff assistance in the field
Narrative writing was encouraged and often made the front page. The Times became known as a destination paper, and résumés piled up
Among Gibson's hires was the late William Tuohy, who won a Pulitzer Prize in 1969 for his coverage of the Vietnam War
"Bob's genius was hiring people who could work without direction," former Times correspondent Kenneth Freed said
"I loved him because he didn't run things, he didn't interfere. He hired you to do a good job and you did it
" Advertisement Gibson had his detractors, and his hands-off approach could frustrate those who wanted guidance
But reporters recall with affection how the editor responded when correspondent Joe Alex Morris Jr
was killed by a sniper in Tehran. Gibson was shaken by the death and directed a complicated operation that involved tracking down Morris' body and sending a company-paid jet for its retrieval, despite Iran's closed borders
He also made daily phone calls to Morris' wife. A German citizen who had never lived in the States before, she was persuaded to move to Los Angeles and take a job in the Times' public relations department
Gibson said, " 'You have three children and not much money in the bank, so we will hire you,' " said Ulla Morris-Carter, 85
"He had hired my late husband and felt somewhat responsible to look after me, and he certainly did
" In 1983, Gibson was ousted as foreign editor and became the paper's international economics correspondent
By then he had settled in Pasadena and married his second wife, Esmeralda, a copy chief at the Times who became a news editor
"He was the most interesting man I'd ever met," she said. "It didn't matter which side of the political spectrum you were on; you would respect what he was saying when you analyzed the various issues
We could talk for hours and did still to the end." Gibson took a generous buyout in 1991 and spent his retirement playing tennis, traveling and indulging his penchant for magic, a craft he learned in high school that amused his four grandsons
He and his wife auditioned for and secured magician memberships at the exclusive Magic Castle in Hollywood
Slowed by a bum knee, sleep apnea and lung disease brought on by years of heavy smoking, Gibson in his later life relied on the help of an at-home caregiver but kept up his night-owl habits and could be found in the wee hours of the morning in his den recliner, poring over a stack of historical biographies, magazines and newspapers
