Waching daily Jun 25 2018

The paper receipts we handle nearly every day are known to contain chemicals that could

be harmful our health.

A new study shows that touching these receipts with bare hands doubles the risk of absorbing

the harmful chemicals.

Park Se-young has more.

Most paper receipts from stores and restaurants contain the chemical bisphenol A, or BPA.

Prolonged exposure to BPA can have hormone-like effects and may increase the risk of miscarriage.

This is why Europe has restricted the use of BPA in cash receipts since 2016, …and

Korea has also been encouraging the use of digital receipts since last year.

Korean researchers recently studied urine samples of 54 middle-aged women who have been

working as retail store cashiers for a median period of 11 years.

They found that the average amount of BPA in their urine more than doubled when the

cashiers worked with bare hands for two consecutive days.

When they worked with gloves, the BPA levels did not increase.

The researchers also found elevated insulin resistance in cashiers with high concentrations

of BPA.

They suggest digital receipts as a safer option and recommend discarding paper receipts as

soon as receiving them.

"The study shows that just wearing gloves can reduce occupational exposure to zero.

Since ordinary people usually handle fewer receipts, there is no need to worry unnecessarily."

The study was published in the journal Environment International.

Koreas to hold military talks on restoring communication lines - Duration: 0:44.

Let's start with the ongoing cooperation between the two Koreas on a number of issues...

The South and North will hold working-level military talks in the coming hours on fully

reconnecting bilateral military communication lines.

Seoul's defense ministry says the meeting will start at 10AM, Korea time, at the Customs,

Immigration, and Quarantine office in Paju,... just south of the inter-Korean border.

Monday's talks are a follow-up to an agreement reached at general-level negotiations last

week.

A ministry official said the two sides will discuss working procedures to completely restore

the East Sea and West Sea district military communication lines.

Trump calls for illegal immigrants to be deported with 'no judges or court cases' - Duration: 1:50.

President Trump has called for the immediate deportation of illegal immigrants without

judicial proceedings, while slamming against current U.S. immigration laws.

For more on this and other international news we turn to our Ro Aram…

Aram… some more hardline rhetoric coming from Trump regarding immigration….what else

did he have to say?

Well Mark… in a series of tweets on Sunday, Trump described migrants at the southern border

as invaders who must immediately, with no judges or court cases, be sent back from where

they came.

He also called standing U.S. immigration laws a mockery to good immigration policy and Law

and Order.

In a follow-up tweet, he said the current policy was being laughed at all over the world

and was very unfair to those who come through legally, adding immigration should be based

on merit.

Trump also called for Democrats to fix immigration laws, adding his administration was doing

a far better job than former presidents George W. Bush and Barack Obama.

The House of Representatives is expected to vote on immigration legislation later this

week.

Trump's comments came less than a week after he signed an executive order reversing a policy

that separated migrant families following fierce domestic and global backlash.

The order also called for families with children to jump in front of the line during immigration

proceedings.

Rights groups immediately criticized Trump's latest proposal, saying it would violate the

U.S. Constitution's due process provision, which applies to citizens and non-citizens

alike.

It states that "no person shall be deprived of life, liberty, or property without due

process of law."

South Korea marks 68th anniversary of Korean War - Duration: 2:45.

Today, June 25th, marks SIXTY EIGHT years since the start of the Korean War.

The conflict left more than two-million civilians dead or wounded.... and a country divided.

Taking a look back at the war on this anniversary is our Ko Roon-hee.

After Japan's defeat in World War II, the Korean Peninsula was liberated from colonial

rule.

But that didn't mean a free and independent Korean state.

The Soviet Union occupied the north of the country and the U.S. took the south,... dividing

Korea along the 38th parallel.

In 1948, the South and North formed governments that were ideologically opposed, and each

rejected the legitimacy of the other.

On June 25th, 1950, the North Korean army invaded South Korea with Soviet tanks, marking

the start of the Korean War.

A few months later, the North had conquered nearly all of the South, including its capital,

Seoul.

To South Korea's defense came the United Nations, with the United States as the principal force.

This is because they saw in the North's attack the growing threat of communism.

In September 1950, General Douglas MacArthur, Commander in Chief of UN Forces, successfully

carried out the Incheon Landing Operation… recapturing Seoul in two weeks.

But without warning, communist China sent in massive numbers of troops to help North

Korea.

The fighting finally came to an end with an armistice agreement in July 1953,... and the

two Koreas remain separated to this day.

Estimates vary, but a report by South Korea's defense ministry suggests the conflict resulted

in the deaths of more than 130-thousand South Korean troops, and nearly 38-thousand fighting

under UN Command, the vast majority of them Americans.

Earlier this month, South Korean President Moon Jae-in spoke at a ceremony for the country's

63rd Memorial Day, and laid out the government's plan to honor those soldiers and their sacrifices.

"The Republic of Korea will excavate the remains of every single soldier and police officer

who died during the Korean War.

If inter-Korean relations improve, we will first and foremost work on the recovery of

remains in the Demilitarized Zone."

For the anniversary of the start of the war, today, the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans

Affairs is holding a ceremony... to honor those who defended the Republic of Korea.

Around a thousand South Korean veterans and around a hundred UN veterans are expected

to be attending.

foreign companies to North Korea.

In an interview with a Christian cable network, Trinity Broadcasting Network, that aired over

the weekend, Trump said he trusts Kim to do the right thing, praising their "good chemistry"

and "very good relationship."

He reiterated that praise of North Korea during a Republican Party convention in Nevada.

He touted what he called North Korea's great potential in terms of location and real estate...

but that the best achievement of his summit with Kim will be the regime's denuclearization.

of its research on the long-range transboundary air pollutants in Northeast Asia next year.

Last year,... the three nations agreed to issue the report this year,... but failed

Why don't i do YouTube videos anymore? (PLEASE READ DESCRIPTION) - Duration: 3:02.

Hello guys UnitedFlyer22. And this has been in the back of my head for so long

The only reason why I don't do youtube videos anymore is because i I lost track of it

With all the work I had

You know it wasn't fitting into my youtube schedule and also I lost I

really much lost

Interest of YouTube. Instagram is very active to me right now. I have like over 600 followers. I

did it very reactive and I have a huge audience

not only is Instagram very simplistic, It's good for posting pictures and

you know

videos that are like short like very small and

you know posting stories and everything. It's a more

faster and reliable way for me to keep on track with stuff. I

don't

do very much of model airport updates anyone because I

closed my airport, you know

demolished everything and

Kept my aircraft models in the safe place. So,

that's it for now, but

I'm gonna revamp the whole entire channel to be a flight sim channel.

Because I have a computer and also a flight sim so I thought "Hmm?"

I think it could make a youtube channel for only flight sim. So I'm starting a flightsim channel called, ummmmmm...

I don't know what's the name yet? I'll keep I'll just give you one short

It's gonna start with flight or something like that. I don't know. I'm

rebranding everything right now the logo, the art,

all the videos are gonna be the same (what i mean by that is that i will keep the videos) the channel names when I say the videos are gonna be the same so

All my already old videos are gonna be in my channel

But otherwise, I'm gonna revamp this whole entire

channel to be a flight sim channel

and

That way, you know, it's just sticking to one topic

I really love this hobby making aviation videos, but plane spotting and flight sim is

my only thing that's keeping me intact flights too

as i've been in the Philippines now for I think

I

think three weeks now three or four

so I've been like

Having a good time here and stuffing it into my schedule and I don't post YouTube videos because I don't do anything in the house (Why did i say that? What i meant is that i will actually do YouTube videos because i have nothing to do in the house)

so

Yeah, thank you guys so much for watching and stay tuned for the revamp of this entire channel

Because I don't know what to do with it. So, yeah, thank you guys for watching

U.S. veterans visiting S. Korea to mark 68th anniversary of Korean War - Duration: 2:40.

Staying with the SIXTY EIGHTH anniversary of the outbreak of the Korean War.

As is customary on this date every year,... some veterans from the allied countries that

fought alongside the South are here in the country... to attend a variety of commemorative

events.

Park Ji-won reports.

This is the War Memorial of Korea, located in central Seoul,... and dozens of Korean

War veterans and their families,... mostly from the U.S.,... are here to pay tribute

to their comrades who lost their lives six decades ago.

This is the first leg of their six-day visit to South Korea,... which will end when they

leave the country on Thursday.

They placed flowers in front of a memorial to the fallen... where the names of tens of

thousands of UN troops are engraved.

Troops from 16 countries including the U.K., Canada, Australia and Turkey... fought under

UN command in the Korean War,... and six countries, including India, Norway and Sweden provided

support for medical operations.

All together, nearly two million people from foreign countries helped defend South Korea,...

and more than 150-thousand of them died, were wounded, or are considered missing.

After holding a moment of silence for the war heroes,... they moved into the war museum

for a brief tour.

The exhibitions took the veterans down memory lane.

"(This is) My first visit to Korea, since 1954.

In fact the last time I've seen Seoul.

When we flew out of here, it was almost leveled.

Now it's full of cars.

(....) I'm honored to come back.

Very pleased that I am still able to move.

I'm 85 years old.

I'm proud that people see you and they thank you."

"I think we were here a little over a year.

Our ship was in the Korean waters during the war.

It was a little over a year.

It is a kind of different feeling, coming back, I feel proud and happy for the people,

for people.

I think this is great."

The visits for veterans from outside of Korea were started back in 1975 by a private organization,...

but they're now run by South Korea's Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs.

So far,... about 32-thousand veterans and their family members from UN forces have participated.

President Moon completes three-day state visit to Russia - Duration: 2:10.

President Moon Jae-in arrived back in Seoul on Sunday after his state visit to Russia.

He and President Putin, in Moscow, signed MOUs on future projects that'll hopefully

get North Korea involved in the regional economy in the future.

President Moon wrapped up his stay in Russia after cheering for the South Korean team in

their World Cup match against Mexico.

Hwang Ho-jun reports.

"Give peace to the Korean Peninsula and the Republic of Korea."

That's what the South Korean President wrote in the guestbook of Moscow's Cathedral of

Christ the Saviour,... the tallest Orthodox Christian Church in the world.

Shortly afterward, President Moon flew down to Rostov-on-Don to watch the World Cup match

between South Korea and Mexico.

President Moon and First Lady Kim Jung-sook wore red scarves to support team South Korea.

But that wasn't enough to save the Reds from their second loss of the tournament.

Once the whistle blew on the 2-to-1 defeat, President Moon visited the team's locker room

to encourage the players and coaches, some of whom had shed tears on the pitch.

He praised the players for not giving up until the very last minute and said they still scored

the best goal of the tournament.

He asked them not to lose hope and continue to do their best until the end.

South Korea is scheduled to face Germany to wrap up their Group F campaign on Wednesday.

This was the first time in 16 years that a sitting South Korean President attended a

World Cup match -- the last time being when Korea hosted the tournament.

It was also the first time for a President to watch the national football team play overseas.

After the first half, President Moon was able to have a short talk with FIFA President Gianni

Infantino; it was just about a year ago when the two met in Seoul.

The FIFA leader recollected their last conversation,... in which President Moon proposed that the

two Koreas, China and Japan join forces to host the 2030 football World Cup.

While he thought the idea was farfetched at the time,... Infantino said it's becoming

more and more realistic with so many things happening between Seoul and Pyongyang.

He said now is the time to prepare for such a dream to come true and promised to visit

Seoul again in the near future.

Remains of U.S. soldiers could be returned as soon as this week - Duration: 2:13.

Our top story this morning...

In one of the clearest signs yet of the changing times on the Korean Peninsula,... preparations

are well underway to repatriate from North Korea... the remains of American soldiers

killed in the Korean War.

There's hope the remains could be returned as soon as this week.

This comes as speculation mounts that U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo is set for

what will be his third trip to Pyongyang.

Kim Min-ji reports.

Work continued over the weekend to repatriate the remains of American soldiers killed in

the Korean War... from North Korea.

U.S. Forces Korea confirmed that one hundred temporary wooden caskets have been sent to

the border village of Panmunjom to hold the remains,... while separately, 158 metal coffins

have been moved to the Osan Air Base in Gyeonggi-do Province -- to which the remains will be transferred.

Given that process,... the remains could be returned to the U.S. some time this week at

the earliest.

The repatriation is one of the key pledges to be implemented from the June 12th summit

declaration.

And with the U.S. having put great importance and emphasis on the issue,... there's speculation

that Secretary of State Mike Pompeo could make a visit to the North coinciding with

the repatriation.

This could also mean that Pompeo holds talks with North Korean officials to discuss follow-up

measures to implement their joint declaration -- also something they agreed to at the summit

earlier this month.

That could include drawing up a roadmap to normalize relations between the two sides,...

a specific timeline for denuclearization as well as ways to guarantee the regime's security.

Meanwhile, North Korean media have stressed the importance of faithfully implementing

the summit agreement with the U.S.,... likely in a call for Washington to do its part...

as Pyongyang appears set to go ahead with the repatriation.

Propaganda website Uriminzokkiri said that by implementing the joint statement,... they

seek to address the years of tension and hostile relations and open a new era of North Korea-U.S.

cooperation.

Another propaganda outlet, DPRK Today, said implementing the joint declaration is the

path to securing peace, security and prosperity for the Peninsula and the world.

Why create a YouTube channel and which strategies to use? - Duration: 14:38.

Hello everyone, Here is Professor Rovian and in this video

I want to talk about 2 business with you.

The first is about me, and why I believe you should start using YouTube as

platform to promote your personal brand or your company.

And the second topic is what strategy you should use to implement and ensure

the success of your channel.

Come on!

As I've said before, my name is Rovian, and I really am a teacher and there are some

years.

I have a bachelor's degree in business administration and a master's degree in business administration.

The first topic I want to discuss with you is the reason I created this channel and that

the same reasons why you should create your channel.

I have acted in several areas over the years, but especially with entrepreneurship

and innovation.

And I came to the conclusion, which many of you may already know, that people and businesses

should invest more in promoting their brand through videos.

There is currently a big phenomenon with regard to video content creation.

And for you to have an idea, the most visited site in the world today is Google, the second

is YouTube and third is Facebook.

On average people get 20 minutes on YouTube and half this time on Facebook.

More recently I have worked in the sales area, both as a salesperson and also as

professor of sales and digital marketing.

This work made me realize that there are several people who should be creating

your channel or improving your YouTube advertising strategies, including me.

In addition there are other reasons to create a channel.

If you are a YouTuber, and have as main goal to grow your channel, you must invest

in creating and consolidating a brand.

Let's see an example.

The official pintinha chicken channel has only 46 videos, but it has almost 12 million

of subscribers and over 8 billion views.

Today she is a very strong brand and surely most of the money she earns does not

comes from YouTube, but we can be sure this media has helped and still helps it to spread

content and win followers.

Another example is Authentic Games, it has a very clear focus and for those who are interested

in the game Minecraft, you know that it is reference in the subject.

There are several channels that are reference about their themes and part of it, why they

time to create their brands.

A second reason for creating your channel is the ability to generate additional income.

If you already have a job I still recommend you create your channel immediately,

this is one of my reasons for creating the channel.

And if tomorrow or later I do not have a job, will I live from what?

YouTube may be the anchor that will help me at a difficult time.

You want another reason.

Generation of millennials on, already spend more time watching videos on YouTube than

On TV.

That is, if your brand is not on YouTube, you hardly exist.

So in summary folks, if you are a YouTuber, you should behave like a

company.

And if you are a company then you should conduct your channel as a brand.

Understood.

I hope that I have been able to convince you of why it is interesting to enter this wave

videos and start creating content immediately.

If you still have questions, let us discuss the subject in the comments.

From now on we come to the second theme that I want to talk to you about.

If you decided to create your channel today or if you want to improve your channel, then you have

have a clear strategy in mind.

In this second topic we will define what your strategy will be.

The first step is to separate what is tactical strategy from YouTube.

The tactics that are used on YouTube and which are important are, for

title you will choose for your videos, the thumbnail you are going to use, the

metadata that you use, such as the description, keywords, and other

details of your content.

All of these tactics are important, but if you do not have a broader strategy,

success may not come.

Another point before we talk about strategy is that it needs your involvement.

First you have to dedicate yourself to preparing your strategy, and it may require some

time.

And after you prepare your strategy you have to execute it.

If you spend time planning and not putting in practice, you just wasted your time.

So get a notebook, a sheet, your cell phone, something you can write down and we'll work out

your strategy.

The first step in your strategy is to understand "What kind of content will you produce?"

This is important because, knowing your content, you will know who the audience is

who has an interest in your videos.

And second, why you need to have consistency.

Let's take a closer look at these two issues.

If you do not know what kind of content you want to offer, you will not know who

are the people who will take an interest in your content and then, you do not know what they

what kind of content they are looking for, if they want to

your video or just looking for entertainment.

If you have no idea what content you want to produce, here's a tip.

The top four most viewed categories on youtube are comedy, music, entertainment

and how to do things.

But there is room for everyone, which brings us to the second item on definition

of its content, which is consistency.

Consistency means you are going to publish content with a very clear focus.

Luccas Neto is an example of success, and everyone is commenting, but it is not just for

that he chose the right audience.

If you access his channel, you will see that it has consistency in the publications that

he does, his content is for children from 3 to 9 years old and he does not shy away from these themes.

You will not find in his channel a tutorial on how to change the car tire, for

which is not his focus.

Another example is Peter McKinnon, who is a YouTuber from Canada who focuses on teaching

your audience on filmography, that is, making videos of better quality.

He's got 1 million subscribers in 9 months and he's already 2 million.

There are different examples of success.

My recommendation is that you access these channels of success and look at the different contents

of these people, you will find that they always publish on the same subjects.

Focusing on a theme is both the hit of some youtuber and the failure of others.

So guys, write it down, your first strategy is to set the subject you're going to talk about

your videos and follow with this theme.

Let's go ahead.

We have reached the second stage of your strategy, which is to know your audience.

In marketing we call this segmentation segment.

Defining your audience will ensure that you are creating content that matters to

they.

You know when companies say they want to serve the customer better.

The first step they have to do is understand what the customer needs, if not

they will not be able to serve this customer better.

And with your channel is no different.

If you want to create a game channel, you should find out which games are being played

by your audience.

Another example, if your audience is interested in beauty, then you should know which ones are

the trends in relation to makeup, hair, fashion and related content.

If your channel is a Vlog, you should talk about topics that are of interest to your audience.

Let's see a fact that can help you.

People generally go to youtube for several reasons, but the main ones

are: To fix something, to learn

something new or solve a problem, and by entertainment, to pass the time.

So if we think about your gaming channel, your beauty channel, or your vlog, a lot

probably your audience is trying to learn something from you, or hoping that

you'll be able to entertain them for a while.

One tip is you access the channels that are similar to yours and try to find out about the

what these youtubers are talking about.

You can even read the video comments from these channels and see if anyone is asking

video about something specific you can create.

Remember you are NOT creating content for yourself.

You may have a question about something and decide to create a video, but if no one is interested

In this matter, you are probably wasting energy on something that does not interest others.

In short, our second strategy is to: understand your audience and deliver value to it.

Now that you know what your channel is about and you know your audience, the third

step of your YouTube strategy is to think about building your brand.

In marketing we can call this positioning.

Your brand need not necessarily have an impressive logo or name.

Your youtube channel can be your name.

But you need to have a clear position on your brand.

This means that if you create a beauty channel, it will not record your videos

as if he had just gotten out of bed.

If you are going to create a culinary channel, and will record in your kitchen, I hope

it is clean.

Beware of the images you choose to place on your channel as well as the content

of your videos.

If your channel is about games, do not create a video talking about the weekend that you

spent in your grandparents.

(Doubt) An important point of brand building

is to verify that your channel name already exists.

I've already posted a video that can help you choose the name of your channel and verify

if this name already exists, including in other social media, I recommend that you see.

While building your brand, also think about the cover photo, your photo or the

the logo you are going to use in your channel description, and I recommend that you be

objective in this regard, these details are part of the

your brand and the message you want to pass.

If you're going to create a beauty channel, you can simply describe your channel as

"A channel to help you stay more beautiful, or beautiful, in your day to day life."

Already an error would be you to create a channel of beauty and put "a channel with everything on

me, about makeup, my travels, beauty tips, how was my day at work, etc ".

See that the focus is completely lost, people just will not know what

will find on your channel.

In summary, the third strategy is to ensure that your channel has a clear focus on

ensure the creation of a strong brand.

Creating a personal brand can take time, but if you remain consistent

and in the interest of your audience, over time everyone will meet you at

that your brand represents to them.

Nice.

Let's go to your channel's fourth strategy, which is the regularity of content you create.

I have visited some channels that the staff asks to give a force and guess what

I find?

The person has a video from two hours ago, a video from 1 month ago and 2 videos from

How does this person have the courage to ask for help for her channel.

Why would I sign up for a channel that posts 2 videos a year?

So should I post a video a day?

DO NOT.

You're sure to get bored in the first few weeks.

Creating quality content involves time for content preparation, time

for video recording, time to do editing, time to create thumbnail,

create description, advertise, among many other activities.

What you need to do to have consistency is to establish a dissemination agenda

of content.

My suggestion is you start, with a video a week, in a year you will have

48 videos on your channel, and that's a lot of content.

I know even one video per week can be run, so a tip that might work

is to plan your content for four weeks and record everything in a single day.

Then you post one video per week, meaning you book two or three days

per month to create your content and have material for a full month of publication.

Be objective with your agenda and do not miss your deadlines.

This strategy will ensure regularity for the channel and will enable your audience

stay interested with new content every week.

Good guys, I know the video is over, so do not lose focus let's do

a summary of what we have seen.

First.

Create your YouTube channel today.

Second.

Develop your strategy based on these four topics:

1.

Define your content.

2.

Define your audience and what is interesting to them.

3.

Stay focused to create a strong brand, whether your personal brand or your company,

and 4.

Have regularity in publishing your content, try to start with a video by

week.

Done.

If you have any questions about this strategy, let's discuss in the comments.

If you liked the content let the like, if you did not like dislike and, sign up for the channel for

watch the new videos every week.

Guys, thank you for the presence.

A big hug and even more!
