Ganz neu scheint der Kanal "Die Geissens" allerdings nicht zu sein. Bereits vor drei Wochen nutzte ihn die 53-Jährige, um mit einem Clip für die bereits erwähnte Petition zu werben

Fans von Carmen und Robert Geiss sind ganz aus dem Häuschen  Es scheint nur konsequent, auch dieses soziale Medium weiterhin für sich zu nutzen, gerade im Hinblick auf die TV-Präsenz der Millionäre

Erst im März 2018 lief die letzte Folge der neuesten Staffel "Die Geissens - Eine schrecklich glamouröse Familie"

Ob es eine 15. Staffel des RTL2-Formats geben wird, ist bislang nicht bekannt. Da kommt ein eigener Youtube-Kanal gerade recht für alle jene, die so gar nicht auf die Geissens im Bewegtbild verzichten können

Hello, everyone.

I feel a bit shy being alone in front of a camera but

I will try all my best.

It has been 8 months since I have traveled with my husband.

We have been staying in Goa for almost 2 weeks doing house sitting.

So I would like to tell you about House Sitting.

It is our second house sitting experience.

We did our first house sitting at Bangkok for about 2 weeks.

Now we are staying in Goa doing another house sitting.

I think many of you are probably familiar with Couchsurfing or Workaway as free accommodation websites.

But House Sitting is still not widely known.

That is why I am making this video to share this information with you guys.

To make it short, you stay in a place for free in exchange for taking care of pets in the house.

With cats? Free accommodation? Before starting our world trip,

we were so excited to find this opportunity and made sure to give it a shot while traveling.

You can go ahead and sing up to get the membership.

There are sections where you fill out your profile and your experiences with pets.

One of the cats I am taking care of just came visit me.

Anyway, you can write your experiences simply but nicely.

Then, you are good to go.

Now you go ahead and search your houses for travel.

There are lots of house sitting opportunities all over the world.

When you search Australia, United States, and Europes which are known for high accommodation fee,

dozens of posts seeking for house sitters are uploaded in daily basis.

There are rather less chances in Asia. Not very often uploaded but

you will find several posts in Bangkok.

Normally the expats living there seek for house sitters who can take care of their pets

when leaving the house for their summer or winter vacation to spend time with their family.

This website helps them to find house sitters.

The good point of house sitting is that you can save your travel expenses on lodging.

well, technically, you do not pay for lodging.

Especially, in countries like United States, Australia, and Europe, you pay a lot for accommodation.

If you can save up that amount of money spent on lodging, you save up 1/3 of the total travel expenses.

That is a huge benefit.

The downside is taking care of a pet is the main purpose here so

You can enjoy only one day trip or sometimes you might need to stay all the time in the house.

It depends on the pets you are taking care of.

We tried to consider both the benefits and disadvantages when applying for house sitting.

Especially long term travelers like us,

tend to feel exhausted at some point and feel like staying in one place.

House sitting is a good opportunity to refresh yourself.

One thing I forgot to mention is that there is a membership of 119 $ for one year.

We thought 119$ is not too bad for one year and paid.

It has been very satisfactory so far.

The house owner of the house we are in now had sent us an email.

Of course, you can check house descriptions, photos and detailed information from the website but

Since it was during monsoon season in Goa, the owner noticed us through email

that there may be power cuts, and

that we would expect a lot of rain

That we might need to rent a scooter or a car due to its location.

So we were informed about inconveniences we might encounter while staying.

So we set our bar very low before arriving.

We even thought we might be trapped in some kind of an isolated place.

But it turned out pretty good.

I feel like staying in a house with a great view in Jeju island in Korea.

This house is located in very beautiful neighborhood and

so pretty. Let me give you guys a little bit of house tour.
