What Everyone Gets Wrong About Modesty - Duration: 1:57.
What modesty does is it allows a woman's beauty to really shine for who she is.
I think there's a huge misconception about modesty in our culture.
I think so many people think that modesty is about hiding your body or covering it up
because it's bad or shameful.
And I think it's easy to see - we look around the culture today and we see the opposite
is really happening.
This overexposure.
That my body is like just this walking billboard
and the more I show, the more confidence I should have and feel.
But really there's another way to see, and that's through this virtue of modesty.
And modesty is not covering my body because it's bad.
It's really dressing in a way that reveals my dignity and my worth.
We are made with such dignity and such value that when people see us they really deserve
to see all of us.
And so that really means dressing in a way that pulls someone to who you are as a person
and not just my body parts.
I'm more than my body.
I'm more than what I can offer someone through my body.
I think there's also another misconception about modesty that you have to
like dress like really boring or you have to wear turtlenecks or like long jean skirts
to the floor.
And those aren't necessarily bad in themselves, but you can absolutely love fashion and dress
modestly.
I know a lot of women in my life who I aspire to dress more like
because they're really fashionable, but they take modesty very seriously.
And really what modesty does is it allows a woman's beauty to really shine for who she
is.
And it really is the foundation of chastity.
Because if I'm respecting myself and my body by the way that I dress and present myself,
it invites other people to love me and to respect me and to cherish me for who I am.
So really modesty is the foundation of the virtue of chastity.

This Is What Happened To Wee Man From Jackass - Duration: 5:03.
Known for kicking himself in the head, running around naked, and skateboarding while dressed
as an Oompa Loompa, Jason "Wee Man" Acuña from MTV's Jackass is one of the most easily-recognizable
television personalities around.
But unless you're a dedicated Wee Man fan, you probably don't know what the Italian-born
Californian has been up to since his series ran its course.
We've done the research, and we've got you covered.
We'll give you a hint: it involves tacos.
Armed and Famous
In 2007, Acuña starred alongside Erik Estrada, LaToya Jackson, Jack Osbourne, and Trish Stratus
in the ill-fated reality show Armed and Famous.
The show followed the celebrities as they went through a crash course in police training
and hit the streets to fight crime.
"Jackass star, Jason Wee Man Acuna."
"I'm a cop.
You need to see my ID?
Sure, no problem."
Acuña and company weren't actually making arrests on the series, but following around
real-life cops as they chased down small-time offenders.
As you can imagine, the people getting shaken down were often pretty confused by the cameras,
paperwork, and presence of B-list celebrities.
"Holy moley — LaToya Jackson and guns."
Unsurprisingly, the series created more than a little controversy; and the show was pulled
from the schedule after only four episodes had aired.
"Go!"
[Screaming]
Hit the Chronic
In 2010, Acuña put some of that reality TV cash to good use by opening a Chronic Tacos
franchise in Redondo Beach, California.
Thanks to his notoriety, Wee Man proved to be the perfect partner for the small-scale
fast-food chain.
When Chronic Tacos cofounder Randy Wyner learned of Wee Man's interest in the company, he told
Easy Reader News,
"I was blown away, because I knew the mix would be rad."
"Chronic?
Why chronic?"
"Well, it means the best.
Chronic."
Acuña ultimately closed down his Redondo Beach location, but he's still in the business
— he opened a new restaurant in Long Beach, California in 2017.
Stop in for a hot one, and you just might meet the man himself.
"Woah, that is some fire, dude!"
Elf-Man to the rescue
Though mostly known for the not-so-family-friendly Jackass, Acuña has also starred in a made-for-kids,
direct-to-video Christmas movie called Elf-Man — which is more or less exactly what it
sounds like.
"I…
AM…
ELF MAN!"
Released in November 2012, the film stars Wee Man as a magical elf who helps a broken
family come back together in order to save Christmas.
Is it the greatest Christmas movie ever made?
Well… no.
But at least the once and future jackass is still out there getting work.
"I've done all I can do.
I'm done!"
Celebrity Circus
In 2008, Acuña joined the cast of another short-lived reality TV show, Celebrity Circus
— which pitted Wee Man against the likes of Blu Cantrell, Christopher Knight, Stacey
Dash, Antonio Sabato, Jr and more in a competition of various circus acts.
Acuña's stunt and skateboarding background provided him with the skills he needed to
actually put on a good show, receiving the first average score of a perfect 10 on the
series and taking third place overall.
X Games, front row
Fans of extreme sports have probably caught glimpses of Acuña doing televised coverage
of the X Games.
As part of a partnership with Monster Energy, Wee Man has hosted segments at both the 2014
X Games in Austin and the 2015 X Games in Aspen, making the rounds and doing wee-man-on-the-street
interviews while breaking the rules and trolling unsuspecting townsfolk.
As is to be expected anytime Wee Man does anything, the segments are usually a little
bit cringeworthy, with a whole lot of hilarity.
Board to death
For most of his career, Acuña didn't skate with sponsorships, choosing instead to shred
on whatever board suited his fancy — until he decided to start his own company.
Called Nullity Skateboards, Acuña's small business features a limited selection of unique
skateboards that the former Jackass star helps to design himself.
When it comes to his product selection, Acuña's company is about quality over quantity.
In an interview with Gorilla Flicks, the entrepreneur said,
"I didn't want to just put out popsicle stick boards."
It goes to show, you can always trust a skater to look out for other skaters.
Wee Man worldwide
After Jackass, Wee Man kept the band together by touring the world with fellow cast members
Chris Pontius, Dave England, Preston Lacy, and more, making audiences cringe — and
occasionally barf — at live shows all over the world.
As Acuña put it in an interview with The Pantagraph,
"We're just living the rockstar lifestyle."
Even though they're doing stunt shows well into their 40s, the performers still go hard.
According to Acuña,
"Chris is the party guy, Preston is the comedian, Dave's the grossest […] but I'm the aggressor."
"Checkin' things out.
I'm havin' a cold one to loosen up.
So when I'm on stage I'll be ready to rock, too."
While taking things to the extreme as a middle-aged adult might seem like a questionable decision
to many, Wee Man has no regrets.
After all, if you can get paid to be a professional jackass, why would you ever want to do anything
else?

Juanita High Grad YouTube - Duration: 4:25.
Tonight this field house is filled with the friends, extended family members,
parents, educators and community members who are here to help us honor the
graduating class of 2018 from both Juanita High School and Futures School.
We are here to celebrate the successes of the young people seated here on the floor.
No matter where you are where you are going as you pursue your
post-secondary goals, you will always carry the lessons you have learned
through your time here. No matter where you end up
Juanita High School will always be your home. It will always be right here.
What a year it's been, huh?!
Hasn't this been the nuttiest school year ever?
One cool thing about ordinary people is that every single day in every walk of life ordinary people do extraordinary things.
Ordinary people accomplish extraordinary things.
Your teachers have said that to you over and over now that you are leaving here.
They scribble it in your yearbook do extraordinary things.
What extraordinary things will you do and how will you define it.
Thank you for your time congratulations graduates.
We are not all going to take the same path in our lives, but as you can see we have all arrived at this destination.
I want to talk about what we are capable of in the future. The last four years we have gotten a glimpse
of what the world is, who we are, what the world can be and what we can be.
Doing is not easy and our actions need to be intentional and have purpose.
Now walking out of high school at the age of 17 or 18 with the world in our hands, it is up to
us on how we use these opportunities
(music)
Just a few more minutes and you'll be wished well, congratulated, showered with
gifts and love, and sent off into the wild blue yonder. We are so proud of you
on this most auspicious occasion, however as you go out onto your
individual path, remember that in addition to your own drive, determination
and diligence you got here because of the love and support of many others in
your life. Give back, give abundantly. 2018 Juanita High School graduates almost.
Go out from this place knowing that you can serve, inspire and grow immensely.
This year has been a... what's a good way different, interesting, crazy but uh guys
we survived. These past four years called high school have led us on a path that
required taking the same classes that those before us have taken or even
harder classes that we realized we didn't want to take until it was too
late and you know which classes I'm talking about. High school was a paved path
that we were expected to follow. It was also a path that put us on a journey to who
we are today. Nobody in this audience was the same
person that they were freshman year.I believe we're lucky to be graduating
from Juanita because of this community, the people here created a safe place for
others to be themselves and I hope you take this gift of building a safe
community into the big world of "adulting".
We are all so proud of you.

Mark Carrazzo | Building Trust - Duration: 0:28.
- Building trust with clients is important
and my absolute catchphrase about that
is you build trust by doing what you said you were gonna do
or communicating a plausible reason for not doing so,
so if you continue to do what you say you're gonna do,
over time, eventually clients will trust you.
