James Webb Space Telescope: An Overview - Duration: 2:47.
The James Webb Space Telescope is the next
premier space observatory.
It will extend the discoveries of the Hubble Space
Telescope,
and observe the birthplaces of planets, stars
and galaxies.
It is named after James Webb, NASA's second administrator and champion
of many NASA science missions.
At 3 stories high and the size of a tennis court,
this will be the largest telescope ever sent into space
and 100 times more powerful than Hubble.
It is so big it has to fold to fit in the
rocket only 5.5 meters wide,
and unfold segment by segment once in space.
Webb's mirrors are coated with a super
thin layer of gold that is about 1000 atoms thick to optimize
their reflectivity in the infrared. Webb will launch
from French Guiana.
It is launched near the equator taking advantage of Earth's greater rotation
speed there to boost launch performance.
Webb will orbit the sun 1 million miles from Earth at
the second Sun-Earth Lagrange point. The telescope
will observe infrared light with unprecedented sensitivity.
It will see the first galaxies born after the Big Bang
over 13.5 billion years ago.
Webb's infrared cameras are so sensitive
they must block light from the Sun, Earth, and Moon.
The 5-layer sunshield is like having sunblock
of SPF 1 million.

Greetings to all the viewers of Flagman TV
I am Artem Nekriach
Today we are going to see our spring brand new crankbait Flagman BROMBA
Flagman Bromba is one of the most realistic bug imitated crankbaits
It is handmade from balsa
Made in Poland
This series of crankbait is aimed for catching chub and ide
Also it could be succesfuly used for catching asp and perch
Both sinking and floating crankbaits are represented in this series
The floating one has rather positive bouyancy in water
During the retrieving the crankbait is making V-shaped ripples on the surface
The movement of the crankbait is quite active
The sinking model of 20 mm in length is fast sinking and has a trembling action
Because of its realistic look and interesting colours
The fish usually go outside from their shelters following such bright crankbait
Bromba is capable to lure any white game fish out of the shelter or fish staying
force to rise and attack it from the bottom of the water reservoir
This "Bug" series is presented by following models:
The floating crankkbait of 20 mm in length and weigh is about 1,5 g
The sinking one of 20 mm in length and 1,7 g weigh

This AI Detects DeepFakes | Two Minute Papers #259 - Duration: 2:24.
Dear Fellow Scholars, this is Two Minute Papers with Károly Zsolnai-Fehér.
With the recent ascendancy of several new AI-based techniques for human facial reenactment,
we are now able to create videos where we transfer our gestures onto famous actors or
politicians and impersonate them.
Clearly, as this only needs a few minutes of video as training data from the target,
this could be super useful for animating photorealistic characters for video games and movies, reviving
legendary actors who are not with us anymore, and much more.
And understandably, some are worried about the social implications of such a powerful
tool.
In other words, if there are tools to create forgery, there should be tools to detect forgery,
right?
If we can train an AI to impersonate, why not train an other AI to detect impersonation?
This has to be an arms race.
However, this is no easy task to say the least.
As an example, look here.
Some of these faces are real, some are fake.
What do you think, which is which?
I will have to admit, my guesses weren't all that great.
But what about you?
Let me know in the comments section.
Compression is also an issue.
Since all videos you see here on YouTube are compressed in some way to reduce filesize,
some of the artifacts that appear may easily throw off not only an AI, but a human as well.
I bet there will be many completely authentic videos that will be thought of as fakes by
humans in the near future.
So how do we solve these problems?
First, to obtain a neural network-based solution, we need a large dataset to train it on.
This paper contains a useful dataset with over a 1000 videos that we can use to train
such a neural network.
These records contain pairs of original and manipulated videos, along with the input footage
of the gestures that were transferred.
After the training step, the algorithm will be able to pick up on the smallest changes
around the face and tell a forged footage from a real one, even in cases where we humans
are unable to do that.
This is really amazing.
These green to red colors showcase regions that the AI thinks were tampered with.
And it is correct.
Interestingly, this can not only identify regions that are forgeries, but it can also
improve these forgeries too.
I wonder if it can detect footage that is has improved itself?
What do you think?
Thanks for watching and for your generous support, and I'll see you next time!

The Division™ 2 - Weapon Mods List (E3 Gameplay) - Duration: 6:31.
As mentioned in the previous video, The Division 2 changes the way Weapon Mods work.
You now have to earn them instead of collect them, and they come with positive and negative Attributes.
For example: the T2 Micro Red Dot Sight might increase your Accuracy by 15%, but it goes at the cost of the Optimal Range.
Let's check out what Mods we can roll on our weapons and what Attributes they bring with them.
Keep in mind that these numbers are submitted to change because we're in a pre-alpha build of course
♪ Intro music ♪
The Weapon Mods come in four categories, each with their own slot.
Optics magazines and their barrels and muzzles let's start with first the optics
We have the improved iron sight the low, reflex sight t2 micro red dot sight
5/5 to holo sight
Acog, scope with the four times zoom the vx1 scope with a 12 x uu mk5 scope with a 50 times zoom and the
M5 x i 15 times the scope the improved ironside increases your reloading speed by
25% but the decreases your critical hit chance by 20% not really worth it in my opinion the low
reflex
Sight comes with 30% extra stability but you trade it off for a 30% decrease in your optimal range
The t2 micro red dot sight increases your accuracy, by 50% but decreases the optimal range by 30%
Moving on to the 552 holo, sight the accuracy gets increased
By 10% but your optimal range decreases by 20% for optimal range
No, one laughing that was until the acog showed up and increased the optimal range
By 30% but it trades it off for a 50% decrease in critical hit damage
Which is kind of a big hit the fee x1 scope and all-time favorite increases once again the headshot, damage but now
By a whopping 30% which is quite a lot, while decreasing the reload speed
by only 10% sounds like a fan favorite once again the mk5 scope is better off than last time with a 20% increase in
Optimal range 20% headshot damage increase and reduction of 5% in reload speed
The final optic mode the m 5x i 15 x scope has unknown
Attributes and it might only roll on a tech 50 c 50 caliber rifle
moving on to the magazine's 3 magazine
Mods have been confirmed the heavy firing spring the - hasta magazine and the extended magazine
The heavy firing spring increases the rate of fire by 15% at the cost of the stability with a 15% decrease
The - ah steam magazine increases a critical hit chance by 20%, while reducing the weapon damage
By, 8% doesn't really sound like a great deal
Finally the extended magazine the big boy out of the magazines adds 20 extra rounds
While decreasing the accuracy, by 10 percent in the reload speed, by 15% it sounds like the best magazine model still
Next on our list are the mods that fit on the underbarrel rail with the vertical grip create an angled
Grip hand stop foliage green laser pointer
Small laser pointer and a short clip yet
The vertical, grip increases the accuracy, by 10% but decreases stability
By 8% so that's kind of a trade off if you have a weapon with a lot of stability and low
Accuracy put this one on the angled, grip ups your stability, by 10% but it creases the accuracy
By 8% so it's the other way around
The hand stop increases reload speed, by 10% at the cost of stability with the 10% increase might
Be worth it for submachine guns or shotguns in close range
Following this is the laser pointer it increases the critical hit chance by 15% and it lost the stability by
10% not a bad trade-off
Especially for submachine gun or quick builds similar one the small laser pointer increases critical hit chance by a bit less
Only 10% but it decreases the accuracy
By 5% the final in the barrel mod is short current
Increases critical hit damage by 15% at the cost of 10% reload speed can, also be combined
Well with the submachine gun or quit build once again moving on to our final mod slot the muzzle
we have six confirmed mods the compensator flash hider large suppressor fbe
Omega, rifle suppressor
Osprey 45 suppressor and small suppressor for this small release out there the compensator increases stability by
20% at the cost of accuracy with a
10% decrease the flash hider a, new winner in my, book, that's 20% critical hit damage, while reducing stability
By 10% which is not a bad trade-off i would say the large suppressor increases the accuracy
By 20% or reducing weapon damage, by 5% not worth in my
The omega, rifle suppressor, has some different attributes than in the previous, game with
A 25% increase in stability and a decrease in optimal range but 20%
Seems like the omega rifle suppressor isn't a fan favorite anymore the osprey 45 suppressor is decent with a
critical hit chance increase of 20% at the cost of m percent rate of fire and
The final mod of this video the small suppressor increases accuracy, by 20% or reducing the weapon damage, by 5%
Not worried again
Looking, back to confirmed weapon mods it looks like most of the old mods are coming back, maybe some, new
Ones i would have liked to see some new ones but i guess, we had a lot already and you know
Maybe they, still will add them who knows the old favourite, mods are still things like the fields one scope extended magazine but
Some others have changed like the small grip now called the short grip and i'll make a rifle suppressor let
Me know in the comment down below, what your favorite optic magazine in the barrel and missile mod is and why
For now thanks for watching hopefully until next time and peace out

Connecting with Your Intentions | Berklee Online | Creativity & Entrepreneurship - Duration: 4:56.
Every product, every service, every piece of music reflects, fundamentally,
the creator's intentions.
It's simply impossible to build a business, or develop a career,
if there is an inconsistency with your true beliefs
and your values and the way that you see the world, and ultimately the product
that you bring to fruition.
So it's absolutely critical for every founder
of a business, or every creative person, to go through this process
where they're systematically reconnecting
with that initial intention that you had behind your creation.
It's a really interesting challenge to just self-reflect.
I do believe sometimes we get a little attached to our titles, you know?
When you can say you're a global creative director at Nike,
that opens a lot of doors.
And I think really realizing who you are,
and putting yourself first in that way, is just a really eye opening
experience.
The EP that we just put out, I did every single detail in there.
It was true to what I wanted.
A lot of people tell me, it's so funny, I listen to your music,
and it's you in the record.
It's what you are.
And it's all about my heritage.
Everything about the different cultures, the Aztec cultures,
and the Native American, will always seep their way into my life,
and give it color and a different perspective.
Even if a lot of people have told me, like,
what are you doing with the tribal flutes in there?
If you feel it in your gut, there's a reason.
When you bring a team together to bring those intentions to fruition,
you want to give them the space and the ability to bring their own ideas,
and their own hearts and minds into whatever that creative process is.
Take this studio for example.
It's important that before the people come together,
that they understand the intentions of the message
that the songwriter is trying to communicate.
When I am envisioning something in my head,
I'm envisioning the best of the best-- concepts for choruses.
And some the best concepts and choruses are
full choruses with lots of vocals in them, that have three-part harmony.
Now, have I tried concepts and felt like, that doesn't work?
Or that doesn't feel good in this song?
Yes.
And how do I get to that?
I listen to it, and it just didn't hit me,
it didn't touch me the way the idea in my head felt, or was touching me.
No matter how good a team you have, no matter how much money you have,
you cannot fundamentally paper over any deficiencies that exist
in the intention of what you're trying to say,
if the core and the essence of it are missing and they're disconnected from
who you are as a human being.
I believe that the real core of a person-- and I
think the real core of humanity-- is about helping each other.
These abilities that we have to help other people, I call intention.
I call them intentions-- they're individual abilities.
Like I intend to help people tell their story.
I'm good at helping people tell their story.
And it's what led me to make Avid.
So the intention is the source of energy.
The beliefs-- what you believe-- you call values.
I think of beliefs as the environment that holds your intentions--
Almost a framework or sorts.
Right.
And the actual engine of the work is the invention.
And what happens is life triggers you.
You see things that are wrong.
And you realize you can change it.
And if you allow yourself, and you let that energy start flowing,
you'll find that you can.
When we look at the entrepreneurs that we
admire, from Leonardo da Vinci to Henry Ford
to people today like Steve Jobs or Jeff Bezos,
their companies are reflections of the way that they see the world.
In my situation, my passion was to help musicians.
And my purpose was to create this platform that
made it easy for them to connect with any promoter anywhere,
no matter who they were or what passport they carried,
or what music they played.
So when you're going through this process, asking yourself,
what is my passion?
What do I care?
How do I see the world?
What are my values?
Who are the people that I care about, and are important to me?
With your purpose-- how do you intend to go about something?
What is the direction that you want to pursue?
Fusing these two, along with ultimately what you're very good at,
is absolutely key and critical to success.

Here's Why You Don't Mess With The Quiet Ones, They Are The Ones Who Actually Think - Duration: 4:54.
Quiet is associated with introverts, and you definitely should never mess with them.
As you may not know, the quiet person is the one who actually possess great ideas and they
can listen to everything that is going on around them.
We may have made all kinds of wrong assumptions about these people, and often times, people
thought of them as less intelligent.
Most people assume that quiet people are weak and submissive, but the truth is, quiet people
are usually strong and creative.
While they seem to be an easy target to bully or mistreat, they are not quite what they
seem.
Here's at least 8 reasons why you should never mess with the quiet one.
If you're new to our channel, Please subscribe, click the bell and watch this video until
the end to know the complete information.
Why You Don't Mess With The Quiet Ones, They Are The Ones Who Actually Think.
#1 - Quiet people are quiet.
From the outside, they are easy to spot, because they are being quiet most of the time.
They often can get through life without being noticed.
So, if you really think you can mess with the quiet one, when in fact you can't realize
what they're doing, or even their existence at all, then that is a terrible idea.
#2 - They listened a lot.
Quiet people tend to know more information than those who speak a loud.
The reason is simply because they listen as they do not get chance to speak up.
Additionally, quiet people tend to focus more on the content of the discussion instead of
roaming around out of the topic.
#3 - Observance.
They can understand people better than the louder counterparts.
They observe things in detail, in careful manner.
It is no wonder why they also can notice inauthentic behavior.
Picking up this subtle emotion is not easy, and it is worth noting that introverts upgrade
this skill throughout the course of their life.
#4 - They are not weak.
Even though quiet people probably will not say anything, they actually will.
It is only when the things go out of the track.
Sometimes conversation can be misleading due to saturated information expressed in a careless
manner.
Quiet people will speak up when they notice something that does not feel right.
#5 - Having different social skills.
Please do not compare social skills of quiet people and extroverts.
The reason is simply because they use different strategy.
Quiet people use social skills based on trust and respect.
In utilizing this skillset, it requires small number of people to work.
#6 - Determined.
When it comes to relationship, introverts or quiet people can create special bound based
on trust.
They also have ideas that must be realized.
When they do, they will make others surprised.
#7 - Intolerance.
Quiet people just cannot be manipulated easily especially if they are experienced and intelligence.
The reason is because they have values which cannot be denied or pushed over.
#8 - Quiet people can be loud sometimes.
Being quiet doesn't means they are not talking at all, in fact, they can be just as loud
as you when they want to be.
They do have a voice and when they decide to speak, usually it's something that mattered
to the situation.
They even can be the life of the party when they want to be.
Well, those are some of the reasons why you don't mess with the quiet ones, after all,
they are the ones who actually think.
