Romeo And Juliet, A Deleted Scene - Duration: 7:10.
There is a tale which was of two lovers who loved one another so deeply to the point of no return.
They only had one challenge to overcome, and that was that they belonged to families that
were mortal enemies.
Through this test of love, they met their unfortunate ends and paid with their lives
because they failed to overcome that challenge.
But shall their deaths not come at a cost for those who interfered?
We start off in the courtyard of the Prince's castle.
Friar Lawrence, Lord Capulet and Montague, and the Prince shall talk about the outcome.
For this is Romeo and Juliet, a deleted scene.
Some will be pardoned, and Some will be punished.
My unfaithful faith has finally spoken!
All shall meet in the hall in which we all dine,
At this very moment!
O heavy lightness! it is a foul time, My Juliet now lies within the tomb, in which
my ancestors lie in as well.
My son, as well, lies with your Juliet in her eternal sleep.
Come along and we shall join the prince and dine, for tonight might be our last meal.
Sit down my brothers, we have much to discuss.
May I ask why you have brought us here?
Are we to be among those who will be punished?
Yes, I would also like to know why?
I need to mourn my fallen son.
Come down my brothers and listen to what I have to say.
Your hatred is the reason why you lost your children.
That hatred had consequences that you both clearly saw, and yet you let the consequences
catch up with you and so it took your only happiness.
Yes, you are right, my grudge us what killed my son, but what are you here to tell us?
I would like to know how your feud started.
From what I could remember, I always hated the Capulet's.
They made me feel weak and useless, so when I got power, I threw my glove at the head
of the Capulets.
My story is the same but altered.
I hated the Montague's because they were poor.
I hated how all my hard earned money was going towards them when all they did was sit around
and drank alcohol.
So when I saw the glove being thrown at me, of course, I did what I should do, I accepted
the challenge.
So, this petty feud was started by social status then?
Well, it couldn't be helped.
I believe it was fate that brought us to hate each other.
Indeed, I would have also accepted the challenge that I had thrown that day.
Because of this feud, we have all lost someone important to us, something you can't take back
My, I had forgotten your presences here, How would you describe this feud?
This feud was one without merit, one fighting for the sake of fighting.
Many innocents and soldiers were lost in this war.
This pathetic feud was problematic, petty, poor, and cost everyone a great deal.
Do you have anything to say for yourselves?
I do feel ashamed, but why did it have to end with the life of my daughter?
More than just your daughter was lost cause of you two!
I never expected you two to act like such children, fending over such trivial things
as social status!
I gave you many warnings and you refused to listen.
This is what happens when you do not listen to the rules of Verona.
I do not feel it appropriate to put all the blame on us.
Yes, our feud was part of the actions that happened, but there were other events that
took place as well.
And what are you trying to imply?
Yes, our feud was partially to blame, but many other circumstances lead up to this as well.
Shifting all the blame onto us is wrong, for many others helped cause these chains of events.
Are you trying to blame others as well?
Calm down, Lord Montague, your foolish bickering does nothing to help our matter.
Do you not agree with me?
The prince is attempting to shift all the blame onto us.
if anything, I think I had little to do with this incident.
I did not force Romeo to marry, I did not force any desperate acts.
Everything that did was for the love of my daughter!
How was I supposed to know what was going to happen?
It should have been that filthy friar that told us that they were married.
How would you have acted if the Friar had told you?
He simply wanted to prevent everyone from getting hurt.
So cease this bickering immediately!
You fool.
My reaction had nothing to do with it.
I was her father and I deserved to know.
Enough!
All is to blame but based off your example, I think you, Capulet, and your fellow Montague
have already spoken enough about this matter.
Why should we be blamed?
We had no knowledge of what was transpiring.
We could not have stopped this horrid incident.
But, if you both didn't have a feud in the first place, this would have never happened.
Both Romeo and Juliet would have gotten married and none of it would have been hidden.
All of us would be having a feast to their marriage right now, instead, we get to hear
this fools fray.
So calm yourselves, we need naught settle this like dogs, let us settle this like proper
men.
Like men?
Are you trying to start a fight?
No sir, by the grace of God I will never pick up a weapon which will wear the blood it sheds
with pride.
Ha!
A fight you say?
I shall light up the flame just like Prometheus once did!
Come, thief!
No Hercules will save you this time, for I will be an eagle who feds on your liver for
eternity!
Put your weapons down men!
Two lives have already been sent to heaven.
There is no need send-
Ha! Ha! Ha!
My wife, my Romeo, I bleed red dye, therefore I die and join you.
Another soul joins the couple.
Why?
Was it necessary to shed more blood?
Your sword of steel shall no longer steal, for your fallen brother is waiting for you
to keep him company in heaven.
I, the judge, have witnessed your crime live, therefore you have nothing to prove me wrong!
Your punishment shall be death!
Is one soul not enough?
Not only did your actions led to the death of your lovely Juliet, but they also took
your partner in crime as well.
You shall join them because this world does not need a lord who kills others.
(Oh why, why must this be?
Why must I leave my lovely wife and join Juliet?)
May you serve heaven with pride!
