hey guys I hope you're good I'm heading up north today for what I hope will be a

really fun day out but as you know you cannot have a fun day out without fun

people let's see if we can find one look who I found

I'm here with David known as cruising the cut what are we up to today David we are

going to the Leicester waterside festival is probably a proper name for

it it's something like the Leicester waterside festival on the mile straight

in Leicester lots of boats lots of stalls music hopefully a bit of sunshine

not looking too promising at the moment

don't get aggressive with me of course the real reason that I've come up to see

David is so that I can spy on his camper van conversion which he's making

fantastic progress with but I've pretended that I have come up for the

festival so we better get there last time I was here I was more just down

there with Alan and Wendy as we came through Leicester this is the secure

moorings in the middle of Leicester and if you've got a ping WB cave just open

up this gate and then come up into castle gardens and through there into

town and it's here that the festival is being held

lots of people had already arrived at the festival there were many different

stalls in the park here's the CRT displaying their new logo because of

course this one did not say canals nor rivers ah here he is enjoying his

retirement as well as all the fun things happening in the park there were loads

of things going on on the river itself like dragon boat racing which was free

and open for everyone to try david was vlogging away he's making a special

video for his patreon I've left a link to my patreon down in the description

one of the roads beside the river had also been given over to the festival and

there was no shortage of things to see and do

I think I found my next alternative living accommodation there were even

more stalls selling their wares my eagle-eyed accomplice spotted the

Leicester vegans so some yummy cupcakes were purchased and enjoyed art was a

major feature of the festival with lots of local creatives exhibiting their work

and of course there was no shortage of four-legged friends at the festival

there was also a live music stage we'd had quite enough of that

so headed back down onto the river

we met a really lovely viewer at the festival

this is Richard and his dog Bailey who's being barked at by the Jack Russell

as well as dragon boat racing and canoes the word narrow boat trips along the

river as well as various trade boats and in lots of different things

this craft boat had two beautiful boat cats who didn't seem fazed at all by the

festival

and I think we found our winner for best boat name

the festival was taking place alongside the river saw in the heart of the city

the river joins the grand Union Canal in Leicester there were loads of mooring

rings and bollards so stopping here for up to 14 days wouldn't be a problem at

all and there were also the free secure moorings that David mentioned earlier if

you didn't want to leave your boat alongside the tow path

if you're looking for a fun colorful free day out for all the family unless

the Riverside Festival weren't disappoint

the wonderful smell of all of the food stores was making us hungry so we headed

into the city in search of dinner here in the Roman Baths Leicester seemed a

really nice city and the weather was gorgeous so we got to enjoy dinner

outside whilst I admired this gorgeous fella the poppy

obviously after a good feed it was time to head back to the car 9 pose

that's good enough for four hours yes a ball game that's outrageous 9 pounds for

four hours one one miserable pound change this is the rule north-south

divide coming out here and this is our industry expensive

got over four hours would have been 14 pounds the parking may have been a bit

expensive but look who we saw on the drive home back home now I had such a

good time Lester's a really nice city anyone who gets the chance to visit I

would definitely recommend it and the Riverside festival was fantastic thank

you David for the dinner and the taxiing and thank you you guys for watching

The Untold Truth Of Marvel's Cloak And Dagger - Duration: 6:58.

Since their first appearance in a 1982 issue of Peter Parker, the Spectacular Spider-Man,

the mysterious heroes known as Cloak and Dagger have captivated Marvel's true believers.

Their unique and complementary powers, along with an intriguing backstory and a compelling

romantic angle, made them fan favorites long before they hit TV.

But while everybody knows about Spider-Man, fewer know the finer details of this relatively

obscure, co-dependent superhero duo.

If you're in the dark, we'll shine a light on the untold truth of Cloak and Dagger.

D.A.R.E. to be a hero

The origin stories for Cloak and Dagger are among the darker tales in Spider-Man's corner

of Marvel Comics.

The first Cloak and Dagger story saw teenage runaways Tyrone Johnson and Tandy Bowen kidnapped

by a mob chemist and experimented on with synthetic heroin.

They weren't the first runaways to be subjected to the experiment, but they were the first

to survive, finding themselves after their escape to be blessed and cursed with bizarre

powers.

Cloak is able to banish people to the "Dark Dimension" through a portal within his cloak,

while Dagger produces shards of solid light which can be used as weapons.

Sealing their partnership, Dagger also uses her powers to provide Cloak with spiritual

sustenance, battling back a constant hunger for life energy that he feels as an embodiment

of darkness.

If not for her light, Cloak would need to sustain himself with other living beings — not

an ideal situation.

In their first 4-issue series in 1983, the duo worked together as a team sworn to end

the drug trade.

With their origin story steeped in dramatic drug abuse, plus Cloak's addictive need for

Dagger's light, it's easy to read the duo as a Reagan-era metaphor for drug abuse and

the war on narcotics.

Considering how much opiate use in America has increased since the time they were introduced,

it's not a plot that's aged well — to a modern reader, their original mission mostly

just looks quaint.

"So yes to your life, and when it comes to drugs and alcohol, Just say no."

Mantlo's Marvel

Writer Bill Mantlo is one of the quirkier storytellers in Marvel history, the creator

of Cloak, Dagger, and also Rocket Raccoon.

He worked on Marvel's toy tie-in titles like ROM: Spaceknight and Micronauts before being

assigned to write for more popular titles like The Incredible Hulk and Peter Parker,

the Spectacular Spider-Man.

He conceived Cloak and Dagger as supporting characters for the Peter Parker series, saying

that the duo's backstory and abilities came to him fully-formed during a trip to Ellis

Island.

According to Mantlo's personal essay on the characters, the pair embodied the feelings

that he felt there:

"They came in the night, when all was silent and my mind was blank.

They came completely conceived as to their powers and attributes, their origin and motivation.

They embodied between them all that fear and misery, hunger and longing that had haunted

me on Ellis Island."

The story Mantlo put together after his trip was his first submission for Spectacular Spider-Man,

and it was also, he felt, the best story he'd ever written.

Friendly neighbors of Spider-Man

After they escaped from death by overdose, Cloak and Dagger made it their mission to

seek deadly vengeance.

They were successful, despite the attempted interference of the Friendly Neighborhood

Wall-Crawler, who generally frowns on the use of deadly force.

While the duo were merciless and single-minded in this first appearance, yet also young and

naïve, qualities the sympathetic Spider-Man understood all too well, making their turn

as a pair of Spider-Man antagonists extremely brief.

"What I'm trying to say is, superhero team-up?

Thanks in part to Spidey's friendship, the wayward duo soon backed off from their ruthless

ways — a little tougher for Cloak, what with the need to consume living beings and

all.

With the duo's introductory arc being successful, Cloak and Dagger were soon spun off of the

pages of Spider-Man to headline a series of their own.

Strange bedfellows

Between 1987 and '88, Cloak and Dagger's stories were combined with Doctor Strange's in the

pages of one series, Strange Tales.

The combined title was made as an effort to boost sales for both series, but oddly, Strange

Tales didn't see the young heroes teaming up with the Sorcerer Supreme.

Instead, each issue featured a Cloak and Dagger story with its own writing and art staff,

followed by a Doctor Strange story from its own separate creative team.

Basically, it was two comics in one.

Previous Cloak and Dagger stories had been extremely light on supervillains, mainly using

run-of-the-mill drug dealers and street criminals for its antagonists.

But Strange Tales started to flesh out a more proper rogues' gallery for the pair, including

the demon Nightmare and the powerful magician Mister Jip.

The combo book served its purpose in keeping both Cloak and Dagger and Doctor Strange above

water in popular consciousness.

Cloak and Dagger split after issue 18 and started their own title, while Doctor Strange

got his own title after 19 issues, ending the series.

The new mutates

A new comic series called The Mutant Misadventures of Cloak and Dagger debuted in 1988, and its

title inadvertently contributed to a debate that would go on for years.

The question of whether Cloak and Dagger are mutants went back and forth among comic fans

for decades, and a proper answer was only recently offered.

The question of whether the experimental drug that gave the heroes their powers worked by

triggering latent mutant abilities was muddled for years.

Mutant Misadventures seemed to clear it up with its title alone, and it was mentioned

more than once in the first issue that it was indeed latent mutant genes that allowed

them to survive the experiment and gave them their powers.

But in a 2010 Cloak and Dagger one-shot, they submit to extensive DNA testing—and are

shocked to discover that neither of them carry mutant DNA, and that it was the experimental

drug and their own suffering that made them what they are.

No matter how you slice it, that's pretty potent stuff.

The teen angst Achilles heel

Cloak and Dagger are a formidable duo, but if they have one glaring weakness, it's how

vulnerable they are to having their heads screwed with.

As teenage runaways granted awesome powers, they're both pretty easily manipulated — but

Cloak in particular is kind of a pushover.

Powerful beings have a tendency to try to take control of his power for themselves,

with varying degrees of success ranging from "Dagger has to talk him down" to "super-team

should probably intervene."

"Dear Diary, My teen angst b------- has a body count"

Notably, the dream demon Nightmare has targeted Cloak twice, overwhelming him with darkness

and taking him under control.

The pair's emotional instability and codependency are their biggest weaknesses.

They may be tough to overpower in a fight, but exploiting their teen angst has been an

effective strategy for many foes.

Born from despair

As it turns out, this was no ordinary experimental drug.

It was created with the help of a demonic being named D'Spayre who feeds on human pain

and suffering through a the spread of an insidious, addictive drug called D-Lite.

At the end of their 19-issue 1990 series, the demon revealed to the duo that he helped

create them, imbuing Dagger and Cloak with the light and dark sides of his own power.

Bizarrely, that made them both weaker and also made them swap their powers.

He had intended to use them as sort of misery batteries, soaking up their pain to feed on

at his leisure.

His identity and motives are perfectly fitting for the characters, with their greatest nemesis

turning out to be the living embodiment of their own teenage angst.

Why he looks so much like Skeletor, though?

Your guess is as good as ours.

hi I am Maurice Kok author of the book the journey of an ascended master and in

this video I'm gonna share with you why we get ceases and why we get sick

stay tuned but I believe why we get sick why we have two cells who are working

against us were fighting in our bodies diseases illnesses everything what's

going on in your body what's not in line who you truly are

I truly believe that the moment you feel disconnected the moment you disconnect

from your body all these happenings start to occur a

lot happens when we start to explore in the spiritual world because we want to

open to older other rooms we want to open to all everything around us so we

start to move outside of our bodies we start to move to do go and we start to

move to discover everything what's more behind this human limited life and the

thing what happens is when we start disconnecting by events that happen in

our lives by events that happen in the past and by just moving into our heads

or moving beyond into the other realms we really disconnect with our bodies so

the moment when we disconnect with our bodies what happens is that we take all

the energies out of our body so all our cells are not receiving a life energy

but it's normally flowing through your body what's normally going through your

veins and through every cell what makes your cells happy and

keeps it alive so the moment we disconnect from our bodies we get sick

we we will lose a lot of weight or we will gain a lot of weight we will have

aches and pains and we disconnect with the parts of us who

normally is fully in line and fully connected to every cell so I believe

this is why we get sick where while we get illnesses this is because we are not

in line with our bodies and we are not fully present in our bodies and we move

all the awareness is moving out of our bodies and we disconnect with every cell

and this is the moment when sick when you get sick when illnesses appear and

where when you start taking a body shape what is not really yours so if you would

DCS - Su27 NAVEGATION - #2 TUTORIAL - ENGLISH SUBTITLES - Duration: 11:35.

Hey what happen panda??!! this is DCS with te Su27 of FC3, and the tutorial of today is about navigation

What I teach you today works the same for the Su27 as the Su33, you know in the FC3serie there are a series of arcade planes that all of them are controlled almost the same way

this is one of them, but the differences with the Su33 will be the cockpit instrumentation

now in the pit, we are going to speak about the nav mode, rtb and land, that 3 nav modes

with the nº1 key, you will switch between the different nav modes, in the HUD in the left down side you will see the mode selected

in the HDD, that screen, you will notice some changes in the different modes

this is the route mode MPW, there is the route in the HDD, the mode B3B is the return mode, that rtb is the landing airbase not the takeoff airbase, in this mission

I just take off from one base and I have to land in other one

we´ll see the hdd later, the next mode NOC is the land mode, is like the ILS, you can change between the different airbases

the mode nº4 is like a declutter... but there is no functionalities even in the manual is not even mention

in the route mode MPW, you will see in the HDD, the route, from your plane will be a line aiming to the waypoint selected, the top triangle say the faster turn to get the waypoint in this case is to the right

you can change the zoom of the HDD using the ? and ¿ keys in the spanish keyboard,

there is the range in km showed in the HDD 5, 10, 50...

at the moment you change between the different modes, he waypoint is reseted and you have to select it again

I am going to set the wy nº1 with the key left cntl + ª of left shig + ª

you can see the line how change aiming to the wp1, or 2... there on the down right is the current speed, the recomended speed to get the waypoint on time, but I think whn you are excessive late, it show the 440 value... I am not sure, because this mission we are already late to reach the waypoint

thus rectangles on the HDD are airbases, and there is no more info in there

you know the route, the selected waypoint the green one, there is the data link, we will see that in other tutorials

in the HUD you have the circle taht is the same as teh HDDtiangle, you have also the altitude, the selected on in small numbers and the bigger one the current, the same with the speed on the left, remember the P means radar altitude

here you see the different instrument the AOA, G load, speed, sink rate, rpms

the altitude with two gauges the inner one are the thousand and the external the hundres number

I am in 2100 meters, and radaric is 1400 it cold be

come HUD simbology, the heading ins in the top, the triangle is just your current heading

I thin in the real plane you have some more info about heading in the hud... that number 7 on the right is the sink or up rate 700 meters minute

this line parallel to the cockpit and the number is the pitch, and the airplane icon , this silhouette is the position respect the ground, that parallel ckpit line

here down in the HUD is the distance in km to the next waypoint

there is no more symbology, the triangle on the speed, means when in the center that you are keeping the same speed, if is on the right is you are increasing your speed and the left position you are losing speed

there I am keeping the speed, it quite complicated keep speed, but you can have a big clue with this caret

now you see the speed increasing and the caret on the right

this is all about navigation, I am going to heading for the waypoint

in the HUD as you see that circle is not really precise... I prefer use the HDD for navigation because that circle not always work.. more DCS bug with the new version

for the Su27 a very important thing is the trim, you have to trim all the time, in vertical(pitch)

this light over here (fuc*** sun light) sow the state of the different trims when in green

if green is centered

first is pitch, second is roll and last one is yaw

in the vertical I had been triming and is not centered for that there is no light there

you can check there when you are in central trim that is good for takeoff

right now is not the best moment to find it, because I can eat the ground... xD

if you land you have to check that if not the RITA will screeam to you

there is no more to say about navigation, there is no tacan in this arcade plane, in the next mode RTB, you see now I have 60km to the base

is not the airbase is a point a few kilometers out of the base line up with the runway

there is the airbase, I just take off from other airbase

in that waypoint I will localize the ils, in the next tutorial we´ll see that

in RTB when reaching that wy the mode will swith automatically to the land mode

it´s the same symbol, there is the land mode, and here there is a ILS simbology but that is other tutorial

but look the route is to get the ils directly

in all this mode with the same keys that you use to change the waypoint you can change the airport to land

look now.. there is no a determinate order you only jump from one airport to other one.. until you get the desired one
