SIMPEDALS V3 - FREX - Review - Duration: 20:09.

hello everyone, welcome to the FLOEB channel, today, i'm glad to find you for a new review

a product that comes from japan ,the SIMPEDALS V3 from FREXGP, i present it you in detail , let's go!!

here is in detail the simpedals v3 from FREXGP

it measures 31cm wide and 53 cm long with the heel plate

and it has a height of 31cm minimum to 33cm maximum

it weighs 6,5kgs

it is manufactured in aluminum and steel and on the bottom, there are black aluminum profiles of 3cm

a real carbon heel plate with a thickness of 2mm, very pretty

an aluminum bracket on the heel plate

metal brackets that will be used to fix the pedals on the rig

for the throttle pedal, there are cnc machined aluminum arms of 5mm thickness, as on the brake and the clutch

an aluminum pad of 5mm thick, curved, smooth to the touch

it measures 4cm wide and 14cm high

i could therefore adjust the height of the pad with the 4 screws on the arm of the pedal. 2 cm of adjustment approximately

on the bottom, we will remark that there are metal squares of 3mm thickness which will serve as support for the arm of the pedals

and the axis is here

at the back of the pedal, there is a shock made by frex in 3d printer, we find the same system in the Formula 1

and inside ,there is linear hall sensor for accuracy and long life

a return spring of 2cm diameter

and in the middle a spacer that will serve as a stop for the max position of the pedal

on the throttle, we can adjust the stroke of the pedal and initial tilt angle according to the rig of each

it will require a key of 10 and a BTR key

and i unscrew the bolt on the arm

i remove the bolt and nut

and by changing the pivot on the arm

i can adjust initial tilt angle of the pedal ,simply

and easily

on the top pivot , i will have a short pedal stroke

and if i put the pivot down on the arm, the pedal stroke will be long

currently, the pedal is forward but i can also regulate it

it will be enough to demount the bolt on the arm of the pedal

and with the key BTR, i unscrew the 2 bolts on the support of the shock

and i can adjust

initial tilt angle of the pedal

and the stroke of the pedal, the pedal set is very well designed

i put the axis, and i can adjust to the millimeter the start of the pedal

fo the throttle, it is well, we can adjust with the brake pedal for those practicing the heel and toe

very good

i regulate as i want

and it will suffice to tighten the suppor

replace the nut

and we have a long stroke on the peda

and it is adjusted with the brake peda

and on the pedal set of frex, we can adjust the pedals laterally

with 6 bolts on the steel "T" of 3mm thick

it will suffice to loosen the bolts and we can adjust the pedals laterally

for the brake pedal, there are cnc machined aluminum arms with a tickness of 5mm

a pad in aluminum with a thickness of 5mm

curved, 7cm wide and 10,5cm high and a very good grip

and i can adjust the pad height with the 4 screws on the arms

a possible adjustement on 2cm

the brake pedal will be hydraulic and it will operate with a pressure sensor

a maximum pressure of 120kgs

with a pedal stroke very short and a pedal quite hard

frex uses materials from the automotive world

a brembo reserver tank, real automotive brake fluid

a master cylinder with a support made by free in 3D printer

quality hoses

correct assembly

and i could also adjust the angle of the pedal by loosening the 2 bolts on the master cylinder support

for the clutch pedal, there are cnc machined aluminum arms with a thickness of 5mm

a pad in aluminum with a thickness of 5mm, the same grip as the brake

curved, 5cm wide and 10,5cm high

and i can adjust the height of the pad with the 4 screws on the arms

for the bottom of the pedal, it will be the same mechanism as the throttle with a shock realized by FREXGP

with inside , a linear hall sensor for accuracy and long life

a return spring of 2cm diameter

and a spacer in the middle of the spring which will serve as stop for the max position of the pedal

on top, a TOKICO gaz shock from the automotive industry

with a metal bracket with a thickness of 3mm

i had set the pedal to have a linear effect, each these tastes

a max pressure of 26Kgs

with the key of 10 and the key BTR, i can modify the effect on the clutch

simply by modifying the pivot point on the arm of the pedal

if i put the pivot at the highest, i have a soft effect of the pedal at the start, hard point and a hard effect on the end

if i put the pivot at the highest, i have a soft effect of the pedal at the start, hard point and a hard effect on the end

so i loosen the bolt of the TOKICO gaz shock

i can adjust initial tilt angle and the pedal stroke

as the brake and throttle pedals

if i put the pivot point at the lowest

i have a longer pedal stroke

this pedal is easily adjust, it is well designed

good FREX, very good work

i show you the effect, a much longer pedal stroke

as the throttle, the pedal can be adjusted simply by loosening the 2 bolts on the support of the shock. i can adjust to the millimeter

the pedals will be delivered without USB controller

the owners of OSW or direct drive can connect the pedals directly to the box with the 5v+, gnd, throttle wire, brake wire and clutch wire

in option, there is the USB FREX controller

with a plastic box, a carbon imitation and frex logo

a USB cable of 2m long, we can connect easily to the pc

and this option costs €30

i show you the settings of the pedals before testing it

for the throttle , i put a long pedal stroke

i positioned the pivot point at the lowest and i adjusted the angle of the pedal with the support of the shock, i adjusted to the millimeter , very good

the brake pedal that i advanced, about 1cm to facilitate the heel and toe

and for the clutch pedal, i keep the same setting with a linear pedal

the simpedals v3 cost yen149040 or about €1200 without shipping and custom duties in some countries

the pedal will be delivered with the bolts to be able to fix it on the rig

i install the pedal on the simulator and i give you my feeling in game

i installed the pedal on the simulator, i go on the suzuka track with the skip barber, i give you my feelings in game and i make an conclusion, let's go!!

we leave for a few laps

the pedal was installed in 1hour

i spent time to settle it to find the best feeling

the pedal set is not plug and play, dxtweak software

for the first use , it must be configured correctly

very easy to use

for the throttle pedal, i adjusted it to have a long pedal stroke

each these tastes

i have a very good feeling on the pedal , soft and linear

with a shock realized by FREX in 3D printer

shige told me it took 10 hours to make a shock

it takes a lot of time make a pedal set

inside a linear hall sensor, it works very well

i adjusted the throttle with the brake pedal for the heel and toe

the brake pedal is set back 1cm

the brake pedal is excellent

very good feeling

a soft pedal at the start and which becomes hard

maximum pressure of 120kgs

braking is easily controlled, honestly

for the brake pedal, materials from real cars

brembo reserver tank

real automotive brake fluid

hoses

a master cylinder

the master cylinder support was manufactured by FREX in 3D printer

very good feeling on the brake

very good grip with the shoes

excellent

for the clutch pedal, it,s the same mechanism that the throttle with the shock realized by FREX in 3D printer

linear hall effects also

on the clutch we have a TOKICO gaz shock

and i have a good feeling with the pedal, with a pressure of 26kgs

i settled to have a linear pedal

2 possible effects with the settings

- to have the linear pedal or have a soft pedal at the start with a hard point and a harder pedal effect on the end

a pedal set with many adjustments

the pedals can be adjusted laterally

initial tilt angle of the pedals , the height of the pad

pedal stroke, very good pedal set

i finish the lap and i make an conclusion

i thank FREX for information and advice

i contacted frex by Facebook

delivery has been fast

4 days, departure thursday, arriving thueday

very good pedal , very nice version 3 from FREXGP

a weight of 6,5kgs, light weight, compared to the pedals i tested before

the weight is not negligible

here is this test is finished, a pedal set very good quality

Mary Jane Cannabismesse 2017 in Berlin | sens events - Duration: 3:31.

Set!

The sens media family sitting in front of the sens media bus at the Mary Jane 2017.

Me personally I enjoyed the fair.

I think it was quite nice. I expected it to be a little bit bigger.

It was a little bit like a family reunion.

It is not that big of a scene as you would imagine.

Inside it was a little bit to crowded for my taste.

The first day was alright but especially today beeing that hot it was quite heavy.

Other than that I enjoyed the street-food-market atmosphere outside.

I was amazed!

Location is great!

The chil factor outside was constantly on the rise.

Me here, primarily to promote the joint drivers license campaign by the "Deutsche Hanf Verband" and sens media,

up until now very succesfull!

I'm traveling around in my Bus here.

I had a lot of YouTubers with me.

Mr. Fummu, Open Mind, Stoner and Kalle joint me.

They were all chilling.

The fair was all around great!

That' it from us. The Mary Jane 2017.

Thanks for tuning in.

And hope you come back to visit sens media.

The Stunning Transformation Of Meghan Markle - Duration: 7:12.

Before she lit up the tabloids as Prince Harry's girlfriend, Meghan Markle was turning heads

as an actress and model.

She's a self-made woman with beauty, grace, and charm.

But of course, no fairy tale is without its setbacks.

From struggling with her multiracial identity, to a very public divorce, to knocking down

the patriarchy, Markle's obstacles have only made her stronger.

Identity crisis

Born Rachel Meghan Markle on August 4, 1981, Markle comes from a showbiz background: her

dad, Thomas Markle, is a cinematographer.

And as a kid, Markle tagged along, to set, spurring her interest in showbiz.

But things weren't as easy as they seemed, for the budding actress.

Markle's dad is Caucasian, while her mother, Doria Ragland, is African-American.

Markle wrote in Elle about not knowing where she fit on the racial identity spectrum, thanks

to a classroom questionnaire — and not knowing which box to check.

"My teacher told me to check the box for Caucasian."

"I couldn't bring myself to do that, to picture the pit-in-her-belly sadness my mother would

feel if she were to find out.

So…

I left my identity blank — a question mark, an absolute incomplete — much like how I

felt."

Later, her father told her, "If that happens again, you draw your own box."

Defining herself

Markle has carved out a place for herself in an industry that wasn't always willing

to accept her.

She described her frustrations with entertainment industry labels in Elle, saying,

"I wasn't black enough for the black roles and I wasn't white enough for the white ones.

Leaving me somewhere in the middle as the ethnic chameleon."

Even after Markle achieved stardom, Hollywood still tried to minimize her features.

She told Allure,

"To this day, my pet peeve is when my skin tone is changed and my freckles are airbrushed

out of a photo shoot."

"For all my freckle-faced friends out there, I will share with you something my dad told

me when I was younger: 'A face without freckles is a night without stars.'"

Social conscience

In 2015, Markle recounted a story on her now-defunct website, The Tig, that was relayed to her

by her grandfather.

When Markle's mother was young, the family went to Kentucky Fried Chicken and because

of their color, were forced to eat in the parking lot, instead of inside.

Markle wrote,

"That story still haunts me.

It reminds me of how young our country is.

How far we've come and how far we still have to come."

"It makes me wonder what my parents experienced as a mixed-race couple."

Today, Markle says those stories instilled in her

"...a social consciousness to do what I could, and to, at the very least, speak up when I

knew something was wrong."

Making ends meet

As Markle first struggled to distinguish herself in Hollywood, one of her early television

appearances was in 2006, as a "briefcase girl" on the gameshow Deal or No Deal.

Just 25 years old at the time, Markle said the experience helped her understand what

she really wanted to do.

No one ever chose her suitcase, forcing her to stay on her feet for the entire game.

She said, "I would end up standing up there forever in these terribly uncomfortable and

inexpensive five-inch heels just waiting for someone to pick my number so I could go and

sit down."

It wouldn't be long before she'd slip into some nicer kicks.

Dream girl

Landing the role of Rachel Zane on the legal drama Suits transformed Markle into a star.

In 2011, the 29-year-old began filming the series, saying that right away, the show stole

her heart.

The character of Rachel is not only beautiful, but also whip-smart, what Markle referred

to as "the dream girl".

Her role didn't just launch her career, but broke ground by landing a multiracial woman

on TV.

She said,

"Some households may never have had a black person in their house as a guest, or someone

biracial.

Well, now there are a lot of us on your TV and in your home with you.

And with Suits, specifically, you have Rachel Zane.

I couldn't be prouder of that."

We're team Rachel all the way.

Girl gang

Markle may have followed her father's showbiz footsteps, but she also got an education,

like her mom, who earned a Master's in social work from USC.

Markle herself graduated from Northwestern in 2003 where she double majored in theater

and international studies.

Using her degrees, Markle not only acts, she has also worked for the U.S. Embassy in Buenos

Aires, and as a UN Women's advocate.

And Markle's already making waves.

In 2016, at the age of 35, she took part in the One Young World summit, joining other

young adults who are working to transform the socio-political landscape.

Markle believes that her fame is a wonderful opportunity, telling Elle,

"...it also includes responsibility — to advocate and share, to focus less on glass

slippers, and more on pushing through glass ceilings.

And, if I'm lucky enough, to inspire."

Feminist

Markle's been advocating for women since way back.

At the age of 11, she recalls seeing a commercial played on the TV in her classroom, claiming,

"Women all over America are fighting greasy pots and pans."

According to her, the boys in her class exclaimed, "Yeah, that's where women belong.

In the kitchen."

Markle went home and wrote letters to civil rights lawyer Gloria Allred and then-First

Lady Hillary Clinton.

Moved by the young girl's outrage, the women pledged their support and within a few months,

the commercial was edited.

Now, people all over America were 'fighting greasy pots and pans.'

Today, Markle eschews feminist stereotypes.

In a 2016 keynote at the Create & Cultivate conference, Markle was asked by an audience

member how she balances being feminine with being a feminist.

Markle said:

"They are not mutually exclusive.

You can be a woman who wants to look beautiful and present well and it doesn't lessen the

fact that you're standing up for something that's incredibly important.

You don't have to play dress up to be a feminist.

You are a feminist exactly as you are."

Privacy

Markle dated producer Trevor Engelson for several years before the celebrity power couple

became engaged.

The pair were married for just two years before divorcing in 2013, making the split public,

shortly after Markle's 32nd birthday.

While the split seemed amicable at the time, Markle's divorcee status was scrutinized by

the public when she became involved with Prince Harry in 2016.

The actress distanced herself from the gossip, even shutting down her lifestyle site The

Tig, as she was thrust into the spotlight.

Her parting message: "Above all, don't ever forget your worth — as I've told you time

and time again: you, my sweet friend, you are enough."

Working girl

Markle has truly transformed herself into an icon, far from the typical celebrity.

She may be an A-list actress, but Markle wants to change the world, saying her true passion

is

"...to use whatever status I have as an actress to make a tangible impact."

"I've always wanted to be a woman who works.

And this type of work is what feeds my soul."

The Most Uncomfortable Age Gaps In Movies - Duration: 6:43.

They say "all you need is love."

They also say "age ain't nothin' but a number."

But every so often when you're watching a movie, you see a mismatched couple — or

lovestruck criminal — taking things too far.

Here are some of the most uncomfortable age gaps in movies.

That's My Boy

Even if you're a huge Adam Sandler fan, you've got to admit that he didn't just cross a line

in That's My Boy—he straight-up pole vaulted over that sucker.

The premise of this 2012 comedy is utterly tasteless, as it involves a tween version

of Sandler's character having sex with his teacher.

Just to be clear, we're talking about a 12-year-old boy being coerced into having sex with an

adult, resulting in a pregnancy, all played as a joke.

Considering That's My Boy only has a 20 percent on Rotten Tomatoes and totally flopped at

the box office, it seems like the joke's on Sandler and his crude crew.

Big

The 1988 comedy classic Big follows a kid named Josh who magically morphs into a 30-year-old

man.

At first, this transformation seems pretty cool, especially when Josh is paid big bucks

to play with toys for a living.

But things get problematic when he starts dating Susan, his adult coworker.

"It's for you.

It's a glow-in-the-dark compass ring, so you won't get lost."

True, Tom Hanks and Elizabeth Perkins are about the same age in real life, but in the

movie, Josh is actually only 12.

So when the two end up sleeping together, we're witnessing a serious felony offense,

even though Susan doesn't yet know about Josh's condition.

It's hard to wrap your head around, true, but it's undeniably creepy at the end when

Josh reverts to his child form, and grown woman Susan waves goodbye to her 12-year-old

ex-boyfriend.

American Beauty

Kevin Spacey won the Best Actor Oscar for playing Lester Burnham in American Beauty,

a middle-aged loser who's inspired to take control of his life after falling for a high

school student.

Making things even worse, she's his daughter's best friend, Angela.

Roger Ebert noted correctly that the film wasn't really about a "Lolita relationship,"

but instead about "yearning after youth, respect, power, and, of course, beauty."

But Lester's fantasies about bedding a child are revolting — you can't help but agree

with actress Kirsten Dunst, who had the good sense to turn down the role of Angela because

she, quote, "didn't want to kiss Kevin Spacey or be seen lying naked in those rose petals."

After all, she was only 15.

Leon: The Professional

French director Luc Besson's 1994 action flick Leon: The Professional is a movie that'll

leave you feeling a little odd.

While the relationship between Jean Reno's Leon and Natalie Portman's Mathilda isn't

"inappropriate" per se, it is just a tad…disconcerting.

The plot involves a 12-year-old girl who asks a hitman to get revenge on the psychotic DEA

agent who murdered her family.

Leon and Mathilda's relationship starts off strange—he's childlike, she's wise for her

years—and only gets weirder from there ...

"I love you, Mathilda."

"I love you, too, Leon."

… especially when she starts crushing on Leon and telling strangers this full-grown

man is her lover … despite Leon always keeping things professional.

The Diary of a Teenage Girl

Based on the acclaimed graphic novel, The Diary of a Teenage Girl is meant to push boundaries

and start conversations.

After all, this is a film about a 15-year-old girl discovering her sexuality, a subject

that's rarely discussed on the big screen.

However, some might argue that Diary takes things a bit far when its teenage protagonist

winds up in bed with a 35-year-old man.

The 15-year-old in question is played by Bel Powley, who was actually in her 20s while

filming.

She's a wannabe cartoonist in 1976 who loses her virginity to her mom's boyfriend, Monroe,

played by Alexander Skarsgard.

As critic Kate Erbland points out, this is a movie about a girl in control and "making

her own decisions, even if they're probably bad ones" — and watching the consequences

of those bad decisions — however poignantly they're portrayed — will likely make you

squirm.

Harold and Maude

Perhaps the most famous movie ever made about May/December relationships, Harold and Maude

was a box office failure in 1971, but over the years, it's gained a cult following.

Today, it's often considered must-watch cinema, although if you're only familiar with the

basic premise, you might think this is a film simply about a kid who sleeps with a woman

old enough to be his grandma.

Of course, Harold and Maude isn't just about the sex — we don't even see anything happen

onscreen.

The film follows death-obsessed Harold, a 20-year-old who fakes suicide and visits random

funerals.

Eventually, he runs into the larger-than-life Maude, a 79-year-old who teaches Harold how

to really live ...

"Your license, lady?"

"I don't have one.

I don't believe in them."

Manhattan

1979's Manhattan is widely considered to be one of the greatest movies ever made.

But it's also a film about Woody Allen having a fling with a 17-year-old.

Allen plays a 40-something comedy writer that has no qualms being involved with a high school

girl played by Mariel Hemingway—he even finds it amusing when she ends a date because

she has to study for a test.

"But you're 17 years old.

By the time you're 21, you're gonna have, you'll have a dozen relationships — believe me — far more

passionate than this one."

The events of the film followed Hemingway into real life: the actress says after she

turned 18, Allen showed up at her house and allegedly asked her parents to let her accompany

him to Paris.

She said no.

In the late-1980s, Allen began a relationship with his long time girlfriend Mia Farrow's

adopted daughter, Soon-Yi Previn, who later became his wife..

Lolita

Lolita is often hailed as one of the best novels of the 20th century, but it's not exactly

what you'd call light reading.

Nevertheless, the dark and twisted novel inspired two separate movies, Stanley Kubrick's 1962

version starring James Mason and Sue Lyon, and Adrian Lyne's 1997 version featuring Jeremy

Irons and Dominique Swain.

Both movies focus on Humbert Humbert, a self-proclaimed "nymphophile" who is only sexually attracted

to post-pubescent teen girls who meet his specific criteria.

Both Lyon and Swain were actually 14 and 15, respectively, so naturally, displaying the

subject matter on screen stirred up a lot of controversy.

Kubrick's version is far tamer than Lyne's, but it still made a lot of people uncomfortable,

prompting the now-classic question …

"How did they ever make a movie of Lolita?"

How Do Youtubers Think About Their Favorite Songs? - Duration: 8:20.

hey, welcome to 12tone! last week we were at VidCon, and I wanted to learn more about

how non-musicians think about music, so I decided to do something a little different.

instead of me telling you about things, I brought a camera along and asked my fellow

creators one simple question: what's your favorite song, and what's one thing you like

about it besides the lyrics, the vocal performance, or a guitar solo?

I wanted to get people thinking a little bit deeper about composition without getting too

technical, and spoiler alert, I got some awesome answers.

plus, stick around to the end and I'll tell you mine, too.

but first, let's see what these people have to say:

Eliot: My Favorite song?

I don't have a favorite song, I like to kinda pick and choose, I like to find new

things.

One thing that really stood out to me early on was Balrog Boogey by Diablo Swing Orchestra,

really showed me that you can blend different genres together.

they took swing and they took metal and they put it together into something absolutely

amazing that you just can't help but dance to

Oliver: Favorite song right now is a group called wintergatan, I love a lot of their

songs the two that you're probably most familiar with are their Marble Machine song

that they did that went Viral last year, and also the other songs is (???), I'm

not going to pronounce it right, it's a Sweedish Name. what I really like about their

music is that they do layers, at least that's the term I use, where they start with a particular

melody or rhythm and layer another one on top of it and another on top of it and maybe

even a fourth, and then they play with it throughout the song, with different layers

interacting with each other, sometimes all, sometimes only the first and third and so

on and so forth, until it all kinda dies back at the end back to just the very basic, the

one that they started with and it just fades off

Peter: My favorite, uh, song probably is Sylvia Plath by Ryan Adams and the thing that i really

like about it is as it goes that it sways, so it goes like dah dada nun danana, and the

way that it has like pauses, the pauses are kind of like a nonverbal way of building you

up and then they bring you into the next thing and it's like syncopated and like you just

kind of sway to it as you hear it Cassie: My favorite song is On the Radio by

Regina Spektor, and I like it because it's easy to play on the ukulele and it's just

a really pretty song!

Jacklyn: So Collin Stetson is one of the cooler artists that i like and I think

the first song I heard from him is In Mirrors I don't know if its my favorite but its

the first one that intrigued me, he does circular breathing and plays the baritone sax and does

these like six minute songs sometimes and one that i saw he's actually in a tunnel

and he's using the sound reverberating around the tunnel and he has microphones around his neck

and all over his saxophone and its very weird and as he's playing and doing the circular

breathing he'll scream and you can kind of hear it because he has this mike wrapped

around his neck Tristan: Alright, so My favorite song is What

About love by Heart and the best part of the song that isn't one of those is definitely

the chord progression, it a very effectual sounding thing, I always get feels whenever

that comes through James: Okay, a song that I find interesting

for reasons other than the artist, guitar solo, that kind of thing is Trombone Shorty's

Hurricane Season, and the thing i find interesting about hurricane season is that it's entirely

instrumental, and it seems repetitive, it's the same progression over and over and over

again and yet I don't ever find it repetitive, I could listen to that song all day and it

never gets repetitive, additionally, like other things in the New Orleans jazz tradition,

I like how as things quiet down you can hear other voices and I love that idea of everybody

going through the same basic rhythm or harmony and winding down their instrument to hear

other people's interpretation of that rhythm and quieting down and keep on going in that

same rhythm Steve Johnson: Does it have to be a song?

(Classical composition is fine too) I was going to say my favorite piece to listen to

(yeah that's fine) is Beethoven's fourth piano concerto, and i just really like I don't

know it's just such a well written concerto, and the melodies are like… this is just

such a bad thing for me to answer, I just really like it, listen Beethoven's fourth

Piano Concerto Jabril: I would say that my favorite song

would have to be the Animal Crossing Theme song, for the gamecube, and my favorite part

is just the encoded nostalgia within the song.

I think it's just the simplicity of the song that takes me back to that time.

I think that the sounds that they used to compose the songs were very unique.

Jade: So my favorite song at the moment is issues by Julia Michaels and I like it because

it's a pretty slow song like she's singing very slowly, but the music is really kinda

jumpy, like it stops and starts a lot, but it doesn't make the song slow, sorry it

doesn't make the song less slow, but it makes it more upbeat and I feel like the music

underneath is what gives it life!

Mikkel: One of my favorite songs is the song Carolus Rex by Sabaton, right at the start

of this song you have this low synth just slowly building up and then when the drums

hit it's just really epic moment, it's slow and steady a little complex but not too

complex and you're just like "What is going on here?"

It feels epic you feel power inside of you, it's just this low drum beat and you feel

like… epic Alex: My favorite song, or at least one of

the songs that's been on my mind quite frequently, one of my favorite songs, is Bo Burnham's

Art Is Dead, it's just mind blowing, I really like it cause it brings to light some of the

things that I'm really like pushing down the things that really that I've been thinking

about but don't really want to think about, and just life, I know this isn't really

supposed to be about lyrics so, kinda one of the things that I think about when the

song comes up is how it's got these dark and depressing lyrics, but Bo plays the piano

perfectly, like very nicely, smoothly.

It's this great juxtaposition and that, I think, really brings it home

Matt: One of my favorite songs is Jungle Land from Bruce Springstein's album Born to Run.

It's this epic nine minute ballad and one of my favorite moments from it is the… there's

just like a beautiful saxophone solo by Clarence Clemons, but also there's this variety within

the song, it goes from this piano ballad to this rock and roll thing to this Sax solo,

so a lot of diversity I really like it.

Cale: one of my favorite songs is called Heaven When We're Home by the Wailing Jennys, and

they're a bluegrass trio and there's this great kind of just tone and feel to it that

complements the message of just looking for yourself, looking for things, but having a

trio working all of their harmonies that go together, also you've got a mandolin and

violin and that's all just really cool down to earth homey feels to it as well

Sheryl : So I love Green Day's Good Riddance, i think the opening part of the track where

he starts and then messes up and says 'shoot' and has to start over again, I think it is

hysterical, and i like the personality that that shows in the performer, you know on the

audio track, and I'm so glad they didn't edit that out

and that's it!

huge thanks to everyone who participated, there's links to all their channels in the

descriptions, plus all the songs they mentioned too, but before we go, I promised you an answer.

my favorite song is a Jethro Tull song called My God.

there's a lot to love about it, but if I had to pick one thing, it'd be the way it brings

the band in.

it starts with just an acoustic guitar, and it sounds really classical.

when the first verse comes in they add a piano, but it doesn't really change the vibe. you're

expecting it to blow up at some point, but when the first chorus arrives, no new instruments

join.

then it goes back to the verse, and you're thinking ok, they're gonna do it in the second

chorus, but halfway through that verse, with no warning whatsoever, an entire rock band

comes crashing in.

it's amazing, and it gets me every time.

it changes the whole feel of the song but it still fits perfectly.

it's brilliant.

anyway, that's mine.

how about you?
