Waching daily Dec 25 2017

Let's go for a drive!

Unfortunately we're having some trouble today.

This happens sometimes with old cars...

Old cars are a lot of fun but not always reliable.

That belt squeal is so annoying.

I love this car...

Even if it does have trouble from time to time...

Even if it breaks down from time to time...

Even if the belt squeals all the time...

I've been saying for weeks now that I gotta fix that...

I just love driving this car...

We got a problem!

We're about to stall...

Damn it!!!! Trouble again!

We gotta keep going!

The Hakosuka isn't gonna make the drive this morning!

I think the trouble might be fuel pump related...

We aren't taking this car to the event today....

I'm lucky to have gotten it started again...

I think the fuel pump is having some trouble...

I am lucky I got it started again on the freeway!

That comes from 47 years of experience!

This type of thing has happened to me many times over the year.

When the engine starts to die on a manual transmission car...

you can downshift and pop the clutch to hopefully get it started again.

This time that worked and we were able to get off the dangerous freeway.

But the Hakosuka is going back home today.

I wonder what the problem is...

It did not like getting up to freeway speeds!

I am thinking its fuel related...

I did not intend for this problem to happen today...

It's an unfortunate incident but it comes with some good lessons to learn.

I have a big request for you viewers.

I became a Youtuber about 3 years ago...

Compared to other car Youtubers and really popular Youtubers out there, I'm a pretty old guy!

I think I'm the oldest guy in this genre doing this!

I'm 47 years old.

All the popular car guys and popular youtubers are in their 20's!

I feel like I'm one of the only ones my age working in this genre!

A lot of people ask me; "Your channel is so awesome Steve but why don't you have more subscribers?"

"You should be getting more views and subscribers too!"

I agree with them!

That is where I would like your help please!

Please Subscribe to my channel!

In actuality, only 20 out of 100 viewers is subscribed.

Thats a little sad to hear and was hoping you can help me get those numbers up!

I would really appreciate your Subscription!

I have a big goal I am setting now!

I currently have approximately 111,000 subscribers.

By the end of the year I want to be at 200,000 subscribers!

I cannot do it by myself though....

I humbly request your assistance in achieving that goal!

Spread the word and please subscribe!

Simply click on the Subscribe button below or in the description.

And please don't forget about Instagram, Facebook and Twitter too!

@StevesPOV

Thanks in advance!

Well we didn't get much of a drive done today....

but there was important lessons to learn today...

Especially for you young guys out there!

Old cars are a lot of fun! But they aren't as reliable as new cars.

When they do experience trouble you need to stay cool...

you need to rationally think through the problem.

Is it fuel or electrical related??

If you stay calm, cool and collected you can figure a lot of stuff out!

As an old Youtuber, I can tell you those types of things and give you that advice!

You wouldn't take that same advice from a 20 year old Youtuber, would you? LOL

Once again, my advice is to stay calm and cool when trouble strikes!

Also to maintain your car regularly and try to avoid trouble in the first place whenever possible.

That is the unintended lesson learned from today's video!

What car should we change too?

I still really haven't showed you my BMW M4 yet...

Should we take out my daily driver M4?

Lets get the M4 out and head out for a drive again!

Get well soon Hakosuka!

Bye!

WEIRDEST THINGS WE'VE BEEN CAUGHT DOING #3 | Dolan True Stories - Duration: 7:53.

From blowing up condom balloons to scanning a dick pic, the Planet Dolan Crew re-enacts

some of the best true stories from our subreddit about the weird things we've been caught

doing.

I'm Hellbent and today I'll be your narrator.

Number 10 was Submitted by XoXBlowtorchXoX Pandora

When Pandora was younger she was really into a creepy show full of demons and horrifying

creatures.

When she was around eight years old, she decided to get artistic and paint a few Barbies like

the creatures.

When Pandora's parents walked in on her, they thought she belonged in a mental asylum.

It wasn't because of the drawings, though.

She had cut herself with scissors and covered the painted Barbies in her blood.

Number 9 was Submitted by M3ntalHippoz Pringle When Pringle was 13, he was writing a blog

and wanted to add a gif in with his next post.

Pringle decided to search up "funny anime gif."

As Pringle was scrolling through, his mom then entered the room to talk to him.

Halfway through the conversation, she looked at Pringle's computer screen and stared.

It wasn't until after she left that Pringle looked back to his screen.

There was a gif of some anime girl being motorboated.

She hasn't mentioned it since, which has almost made it even worse.

Although if you ask me he got off lucky, I've seen some of the fan art we get.

Number 8 was Submitted by Tom_Odayama Cid One time when Cid was around 12 years old,

he was bored and decided to bounce around on the bed for some reason.

But Cid wasn't jumping.

He was bouncing while lying down with his hips flying into the air.

He was even singing.

Cid's dad came up, wondering what the commotion was.

When he came in, he saw Cid, hips in the air, wearing no pants, with his hands instinctively

covering his crotch.

He sat down beside Cid and started having "the talk" about when one has the urge

to touch themselves.

Cid interrupted him by saying, "I was just bouncing on the bed, dad..."

Number 7 was Submitted by OprahsLeftEar Spinalpalm When Spinalpalm was little his mom bought

a new paper scanner.

Spinalpalm thought it was so cool, and it wasn't long before he got an idea.

Spinalpalm put the scanner on the floor, pulled his pants down, and slapped his privates on

the scanner.

Just when the scan was finished, Spinalpalm's mom came downstairs and asked what he was

doing.

Spinalpalm said he wasn't doing anything.

But just as he did, the paper came out of the scanner.

Spinalpalm's mom picked the paper up, saw what was on it, and told him never to do that

again.

Luckily he got away with only getting yelled at.

I hope she at least hit that thing with some windex or something.

Number 6 was Submitted by Snart2000 Ramona When Ramona was 9, she was really lonely,

and wanted to know how it felt to go to a party.

So one day after school, she ran home from her bus stop, grabbed her cat, Senshi, and

went to her bedroom.

Soon after, her brother heard music coming from her room and came to see what was going

on.

When he opened the door, he saw Ramona wearing her mom's tube dress dancing with her hairless

cat.

For a minute, they just stood there staring at each other.

He finally said "Wanna play soccer?"

They both acted like it never happened and just played a game of soccer.

Number 5 was Submitted by Hows_About_dat Princess Proton

One morning, Princess Proton's mom said she could go play while she made breakfast.

Princess Proton went upstairs and snuck into her mom's room.

Princess Proton then looked into her dad's drawer and took out five condoms.

She was only seven years old at the time, so she thought they were balloons.

And because she thought they were balloons, she blew them up and made a store outside.

She was standing out by the sidewalk selling condom balloons for five cents.

Hey that's a hell of a deal Incidentally, Princess Proton's neighbor

s never came over to her house ever again.

Number 4 was Submitted by Ihatemondays727 Andie

When Andie was little, her parents would often leave her home alone because she was "responsible"

and she looked older than she was.

Of course, whenever they were gone, Andie would just roll on the floor, eat cranberry

sauce, and play the theme song to iCarly while just wearing her underwear.

One day, Andie's dad came home an hour early, and there she was, on the floor in her underwear.

Eating cranberry sauce.

iCarly on the highest volume.

Her dad still makes fun of her to this day.

Number 3 was Submitted by PitFiend007 Grgak One time Grgak's friends dared him to masturbate

to gay porn, even though he was straight.

It was weird for Grgak, but he did it.

And as he was doing it, his parents chose THAT opportunity to walk in, to see him masturbating

to two men having sex.

Grgak's parents made him sit down with them, where they told me that everything was all

right, and that he could tell them that he was gay.

Grgak tried to convince them that he wasn't, but it took twenty minutes of him talking

about masturbating to them, to convince them that it was all a dare.

Number 2 was Submitted by TotalyRandom626 Tolop

One time, when Tolop was home alone, he was hanging upside down shirtless off his couch

and listening and screaming along to "Baby" by Justin Bieber.

That was until Tolop's sister came home early bringing 3 friends to stay overnight.

Tolop was still singing at the top of his lungs as his little sister and 3 other girls

walked in on him, still shirtless, upside down, and singing along to Justin Bieber.

They laughed so hard and so loud that they all fell down, and Tolop tumbled off the couch

in surprise.

The worst part is his sister got it all

on video.

Which we don't have here for you today Number 1 – What's the weirdest thing I've

been caught doing?

The Truth About The Richest Female YouTuber On The Planet - Duration: 5:38.

With over 12 million subscribers, Indian-Canadian comedy vlogger Lilly Singh wrapped up 2016

as the richest female YouTuber on the planet, having made $7.5 million from her channel

and various other ventures.

Singh has come a long way from her first upload, but she remembers the trials and tribulations

of those early days very clearly.

From her humble beginnings to her imminent mainstream breakthrough, this is the untold

truth of Lilly Singh.

YouTube 101

On the cusp of graduating from York University with a bachelor's in psychology, Singh's parents

insisted that she go for her masters.

But Singh had an epiphany while reluctantly filling out application forms.

She told The Hindu,

"I walked up to my parents and was like, 'Hey, I've decided that I am not going to do my

masters, and instead I am going to make YouTube videos.'"

While her parents weren't into her decision initially, thanks in part to her Superwoman

persona, her family eventually came around.

She told Flare,

"My mom really believes my message.

My dad has watched all my videos...They understand what I'm trying to do and that's really special

to me."

"Right Dad?"

"Right."

"You don't even know what I'm talking about, but you support me, I appreciate that."

Not tryna be famous

When Singh launched her channel in October 2010, the relatively new YouTube platform

didn't equal fame and fortune.

She told The National,

"I became Superwoman in 2010 when I uploaded my first video…

That's when I discovered YouTube and I thought, 'what the heck is this?'"

But the main reason she decided to become a YouTuber was to help cope with mental health

issues.

She told Cat Greenleaf on Talk Stoop,

"When I started making YouTube videos I was actually recovering from depression, and so

why I started making YouTube videos was literally because I thought if I could make other people

laugh, maybe I can make myself laugh and be a happier person."

Finding her identity

Singh originally showcased her South Asian roots in her content, and while she never

wanted her race to define her comedy, that's exactly what happened.

She told The Hindu,

"When I first started, all the media I ever got was 'Hey!

There's this Indian girl, and even though she is Indian she gets views and stuff.'"

She realized that if she was ever going to shake that label, she would have to make her

content more universal.

She told AOL,

"I would call my videos things like 'My Indian Parents Do This' or 'Indian Girls This' and

very quickly I realized that I didn't have to do that.

All girls are pretty much the same and all parents are pretty much the same, so...I stopped

cornering myself into a niche that I thought I had to be in."

Moving to LA

She might be a proud Canadian, but every serious content creator knows LA is the unofficial

capital of YouTube, so in 2015, Singh moved to the City of Angels.

But being raised in a traditional Indian family meant Singh was seriously unprepared for living

alone.

She told Chelsea Handler,

"We're only allowed to move out when you're married, so what I'm doing right now is a

huge exception."

And up until that point, her parents had done everything for her.

"I was so clueless of what to do, I got to my apartment and I had no toilet paper, no

nothing.

I used Chipotle napkins for like, a really long time."

Since then, she's figured out the toilet paper, and upgraded her digs.

Celeb collabs

Singh has teamed up with Seth Rogen and James Franco, as well as Kathryn Hahn, Kristen Bell,

and Mila Kunis, but her biggest celebrity collab to date has been with her childhood

hero, Dwayne Johnson.

Singh told Jimmy Fallon,

"It was the first video on his channel and he collaborated for a video on my channel,

and so it was like, this cool, like, 'let me teach you how to be YouTube star,' but

really I'm just hitting on him the whole time."

But her celebrity connections aren't just purely professional.

Singh and actress Charlize Theron wound up becoming besties after they met at a charity

event.

Singh revealed to Handler that they even plan to go on an African safari with a bunch of

Theron's friends, Handler included.

Going mainstream

Despite her ever-growing pool of A-list buds, Singh has still found it tough to break into

mainstream Hollywood.

She told the BBC,

"In the digital space people consider me a star, but then I go into auditions and they'll

be like 'Sorry, what was your name again?'

I feel like I'm living this split life, trying to climb two different ladders and I'm on

very different rungs on each ladder."

Breaking in

If there's one trait that Singh has in abundance, it's persistence — and it's paying off for

her on the big screen.

She lent her voice to the unicorns in 2016's Ice Age: Collision Course and also won a small

role in Bad Moms that same year.

But recently she's devoted time to writing and promoting her book, How to Be a Bawse.

She explained the "bawse" life to the BBC Asia Network, saying,

"So whereas a boss is like workplace, you answer to them, they are in charge, a 'bawse'

is someone who conquers all of their life."

The book became a New York Times number one bestseller in 2017.

Goodwill ambassador

In 2016 Singh teamed up with social enterprise "ME to WE" to launch the Girl Love bracelet,

with proceeds supporting the education of Kenyan girls.

The following year, UNICEF honored Singh by making her a Goodwill Ambassador.

UNICEF's representative in India, Yasmin Haque, said,

"We look forward to the role she will play in generating greater discussion — and greater

action — around the value of girls in India and everywhere."

"Well, thank you for coming to meet me.

I think you did a very good job.

Keep up the good work, okay?"

"Byyyyeeee!"

SORRY FOR THE WAIT - Duration: 8:55.

What's up guys, it's Francisco Delgado this video, I really want to touch on

about this channel that I'm making and

also about

What what are we gonna do with the channel and?

Before I dive into that subject. I want to talk about what about myself

and where how I how I grew as a person and

How I've been helping a lot of people in

public and

making friends and

Just finding out

There's so many things about myself that I love and I would just love to share with you guys before I touched into

Into my channel what we're gonna do with the channel and everything

I really want to talk about myself so I can let you guys know

More about my more about me. I am a a

Great listener I love to listen so if you guys have any stories

I'm here to listen. I love helping people I

Try to help them like as many as possible

If I have the chance and I see the chance and I'm aware of like I can help

I'll do my best to just take the action go for it

I love getting to know someone and growing with them. You know in a in a spiritual level where

we actually dive into deep thinking deep thoughts I mean and

we just talk about what's going on in their life and everything and and

Some people are comfortable some people are not you know some people are as open and some people are not so

I'm those type of people that I'm open to

To that and I'm open to

To grow know we're gonna also talk about about growth and stuff what I'm gonna do with the channel and stuff. I also want to

Grow this this channel into something

and something different

with most channels

I'm gonna add a lot of different stuff, but a but let's forget about that now. Let's talk about myself

You need to motivate yourself because nobody's gonna motivate. You nobody's gonna push

you more than your own self, and I always had that little voice inside of me that I

Got to keep on going. I got to keep on pushing to become this person that I am today

And we're gonna touch that subject right now

that person today is

Someone that is generous. I feel like I'm generous I feel that energy

I love to spread that energy. I love to spread them the energy of love that I have now

Before it was really hard for me to actually speak out what I actually thought well

How she felt and with I know a lot of people it's it's challenging

I'm just aware of all a lot of my growth not just outside of me

But inside of me like the inner self growth and I truly believe that

That's one of the important

Things in life is just to work on your growth your inner growth

And you know and tap into it and be aware of what's going on in inside

not just the outside a lot of people focus on the outside and

Since we live in an such a material world

It's hard for us to pop our bubbles and dive into our inner thoughts

Sometimes we get all kind of get caught up in

currents current events currents

Problems you know mistakes and stuff like that, but that's okay

we need to go through that pick our herself up and

Start within you know start with it and finish with it. You know talk about my channel real quick

Elementary whatever I just want to shape people's mind

Hey guys, you're probably asking why I'm wearing a sweater now in this video well

for my last

Clip I had to stop because my my camera was dying

And I'm only using a cable charger to touch my camcorder

Because I don't have the original

Charger did I advice I would keep you guys

Work with what you got to get what you want or to get where you want to be patient?

inspirational

thoughts that people can relate to

that's another idea that I would like to share invasion would be a good one to to just

Videos or just motivate people my own ways

People that want to get out of the bubble get out of fear

Get out doubt I think those are one of the things that I would like to like tap into and share

that with you guys and

What about the Cantu I just bought? no but yeah you're tempting my tummy I'm gonna be in

there now all over your stuff like you mentioned this I should try it!

Recently I have finally ran out of my Eurocentric haircare products actually

called Euro it was called Euro... your hairstylist he always you always get... I don't wanna say

suckered but you get... cajoled.

No I think they've got like a holy Grail of hair care products you purchase like

some brand new funny every time you get a haircut you come back with a new

bag of stuff right. And it's all Euro-rific. It is all Euro-Rific. So that's over.

I'm back on my Shea... I got my shampoo and my conditioner for my Shea Moisture and so

I do a hybrid now of haircare products every part were you using my Carol's

Daughter Shampoo that I had in there at all? no. it's part

What about the Cantu I just bought? no but yeah you're tempted my tummy I'm gonna be in

there now all over your stuff like "You mentioned this so you must want me to try it!"

She mentioned this!

Dan why are you in there for an hour? but um so I've been taking some cocoa butter so

one part cocoa butter one part european-style hair product and mushing

it together trying to make peace in the Middle East up here I've got some more

You know, 50-50. Sometimes it works out.

I've got some more exploring to do apparently. But you been uhh... yeah I guess you've been working out

very well with cocoa butter and shea butter you've got yourself a nice jar of

Shea Butter. yes I do I have shea butter. It's for yo skinz.

It's hat season that's also been like you've been rocking it I have it I can

rockin hats for a week.

The Trilby. Which is different than the fedora. I didn't wanna say fedora.

I knew I was wrong. Right, exactly.

Trilby has a thinner brim, perhaps, than a

fedora which might have a wider brim. And ideally a trilby's gonna have like the pinch front you know the dimples on

the side it doesn't have to it's nice when it does.

I've got three Trilby's now. Kinda excited.

thinking about getting a fourth. It's his new thing!

How do you feel about that?

No I think they look great on him. We went to umm

Miami, right? Yeah we went to Miami and he got... it wasn't the first

Cuban man there's somebody...

Oh one of my co-workers thinks I'm Cuban now whenever I wear it.

I'm wavin' to em she's like "who's that Cuban man?" Jewish but... I'll take it!

Cause you know... there's not a

lot of lore about the libido of the jew latin america's got it you got us on

that with the Jew libido and as you know it's

like a Hebrew hammer it's like a tuning... hammer, so yes I do like his hats I like his

Trilbys. that's yeah... tis the season to wear a hat.

The Difference Between A Financial Adviser and A Financial Coach - Duration: 4:19.

My name's Rebecca and I'm one of the financial coaches at Wealth Enhancers and today we're

gonna explore the differences between an adviser and a coach.

What does an adviser do?

Essential they help you to reach your goals.

They assess your current positions and they get to know you personally to work out how

is the best way for you to get towards your goals.

So an adviser might look at everything from cash and debt management, various investments,

shares, properties, bonds, long term investments like superannuation as well as personal protection

plan, and getting all these elements to work together to help you to reach your goals.

So they'll build you the road map from where you are now to where you wanna be based off

this information that's been made available.

Now, advice is not free and neither should it be, generally.

But the fees should be commensurate to the complexity of the advice that you're receiving

as well as the level of service given.

Now, what does an adviser not do?

They don't just work with wealthy people.

There are various levels of advice within the industry to work towards people in any

situation, whether you're buried in debt, just getting started out, you have cash, you're,

you know, in your thirties, forties, fifties, you're high net wealth, there really is a

solution to everyone and advice should, is available to everyone.

So, what does a coach do differently?

So last week Garry sort of talked about the analogy between adviser as a personal trainer

who's gonna get to know, get to know your goals and write you a program to reach those

goals.

In that sense, you might have one, two, three sessions with that trainer and then you might

check back with them later for updates and revisions to that, that program.

Now if you're a motivated and focused person, to have that clear roadmap that someone has

explained to you will probably mean that you can take it away and for the next couple of

months pump out that workout, stick to the plan and achieve those results.

However there are a number of scenarios where that plan isn't gonna get you the results

that you want.

It might be that you're terrified of the gym, and that you put off putting your runners

on every day.

It could be that once you're in the gym you forget what you're supposed to do and would

really value ongoing support.

Or perhaps, and this is the instance with the majority of WE members, it could be that

you have big arse goals and it requires a higher level of intensity.

It's not enough to work through a new program every six to twelve months.

You want constant feedback, every time you workout.

You want team accountability of someone else on your team, and you wanna be evolving and

continuously moving forward.

18-year-old girl unravels 200 year old mystery - Duration: 4:33.

The story coming up is amazing.

It's a story about an 18-year-old girl whose passion for creating jewelry led her to a very successful business.

This of course wouldn't have happened if she wouldn't have lived near Slovenian coast of Ankaran,

where she collects natural materials for her jewelry pieces.

Searching for natural materials led her to even more precious discoveries, that not only unveil the history of Ankaran,

but also the history of glass and ceramic finds that ended up on the coast in the last two centuries.

In the past four years, 18-year-old Marina, has sent her jewelry creations all over the world,

with every creation she also sent a piece of Ankaran.

"Even though I live by the sea I have never imagined to find something this incredible at the beach"

"I usually find and look for sea glass and seashells"

With more that 3000 sold jewelry pieces in the last four years,

she has gained recognition by many foreign media sites,

she gained ours with the following story.

"Originally I came to the beach to search for natural materials for my jewelry, but one time I stumbled upon something greater."

"In this suitcase I store my findings from the slovenian coast."

"Actually I found them right here on the coast of Debeli Rtič."

"The findings are between 100 and 200 years old."

How do you know the age of the findings?

"For every piece I find I do a month-long research to unveil its history"

"We visit different archives...this stamp matches the one on the screen...I find information on the internet"

"we can see that it was made from 1836 to 1866"

"We contact different museums, which help me put the pieces together and uncover the story behind every find"

Marina Mlačič is not your typical high school girl, her business and creative journey started in primary school.

"Oooooh whole bottles..."

"Yes, they are whole, I found them in the sludge"

"They are amazing..."

"This one is from the Austro-Hungarian time"

"My teacher has always encouraged exploring and discovering our coastline."

Primary school teacher Anita Saksida has passed on her passion for exploring Ankaran to her pupil.

"Marina found everything I had hoped to be discovered one day"

"This particular spot was once a landfill for city of Trst (Trieste-Italy)"

"Marina has found really incredible items"

Not only little glass and ceramic pieces that were sculpted by the sea and that became a part of Marina's jewelry

were brought to the coast by many storms, but some bigger pieces showed up too.

"On the internet, we found how the complete plate looks like....it is from 1860"

Some of the finds were a bigger puzzle

"The bottle with inscription Proprieta L.Dejak Pola was a mystery, because on the internet I couldn't find any information about it."

In hopes to receive more information about the bottle she turned to a media site that published her story.

"People who saw the article helped me with their knowledge about the history of the bottle"

"They had old newspaper articles and in one day I got a bunch of information"

"Luigi Dejak was a famous brewer that lived in the second half of the 19th century, he also made wine."

"For the quality of his beer, he got many gold medals, praises and his wine was also served to queens and kings in Europe."

By that, yet another mystery was unraveled, but the most intriguing one is yet to come.

Marina learned the real value of this particular bottle after she contacted Antique Glass Museum in Zadar (Croatia),

the museum is located in the house of the manufacturer of the bottle.

"On the bottle's stamp, we have a double-headed eagle that was a symbol of Austro-Hungarian Empire,"

"and the name Zara - name for Zadar in the Austro Hungerian time"

"One of the families that were known for manufacturing cherry liquor was the Cosmacendi family."

When contacting the museum she found out they didn't know anything about the history of the particular bottle.

Before Marina's discovery they didn't have any information about his bottles being made before 1850.

"Because the Museum doesn't have any of his bottles made in that time I decided to donate the bottle to them."

"I think that it is the best decision to return the bottle to its home after being lost for 150 years"

"For me, this is worth more than selling the bottle or keeping it."

She will certainly maintain her love of exploration and the fact she has unraveled a part of history.

"In this very moment in my hands, I am holding almost 200 hundred years old bottle, the feeling is indescribable."

"Not many people have the chance to experience something as amazing as this."
