Waching daily Dec 28 2017

Hi everyone ! Today is December 27th

Once again, it's a beautiful day!

very cold but very sunny !

A few things planned today, I don't know the exact schedule

but we're going to walk around

maybe the mall

visit a brewery

where they make their beer

have a drink

I'm taking you with us

we continue this day together

Let's go for a new day in the USA

if you're wondering how the post office looks like in the USA

this is the post office

and their logo

Here we go live from the Malls

The mall is the word in English

It's a typical Mall from a small American city

you'll see

we often say they are dying mall

because there are not that many things

when you compare them with French malls

there are malls in big cities

where they are of course big like some we have in France

here, it's a mall from a small city

you'll see

Do you want to tell us what we found at the mall?

so we found for Thanksgiving next year

we found napkins

and plates

very hard to find in France

and why was it nice today?

everything was 50% off

or 75% off

for example, the napkins I bought

were $8

and I paid $1.50

and we found presents

do you want to show them?

there you go, with a turkey

And there are sales because...

it's after Christmas

in the States, when Christmas is over

there are plenty of sales

the day after

it's usually 50% off

and we also found decorations for our apartment

so we went shopping

and now we are at Destihl

it's a brewery

where they make beer

and we're going to have a drink

eat something

and visit

and it's so cold

So we're preparing the ... I don't know how to say it in French actually...

the ribs

that my dad is going to smoke

tomorrow

so you have to prepare them the day before

we just bough the ribs

you have to take this layer

I don't know what

it's a kind of...

I don't know the word

you have to take it off

to help the smoky flavor enter the meat

-what is that?

it's Gerard, Gerard the Giraffe

Thank you ! See you tomorrow !

Jeff Flake Calls Trump Rallies 'Spasms Of A Dying Party,' then J - Duration: 4:39.

Jeff Flake Calls Trump Rallies Spasms Of A Dying Party, then James Woods Sets Him

Straight

After Sen. Jeff Flake, R-Ariz., made disparaging remarks about President Donald Trumps supporters

and the state of the Republican Party, actor and conservative commentator James Woods took

to social media to correct the record.

Flake, who announced earlier this year that he would not be seeking re-election, spoke

on ABCs This Week about the type of people who attend Trump campaign rallies,

suggesting that the GOP must attract other democgraphics besides older white men

or else face demise.

When you look at some of the audiences cheering for Republicans, sometimes, you look

out there and you say, those are the spasms of a dying party,' the outgoing senator

said, according to The Hill.

When you look at the lack of diversity, sometimes, and it depends on where you are,

obviously, but by and large, were appealing to older white men and there are just a limited

number of them, and anger and resentment are not a governing philosophy.

James Woods, who has amassed a large online following for his right-wing punditry, issued

a response to Flake on Twitter:

When you look at the lack of diversity, sometimes, and it depends on where you are,

obviously, but by and large, were appealing to older white men and there are just a limited

number of them, and anger and resentment are not a governing philosophy.

James Woods, who has amassed a large online following for his right-wing punditry, issued

a response to Flake on Twitter:

Woods statement does poke a large hole in Flakes argument.

Currently, the Republican Party is enjoying its most powerful standing in modern history,

controlling both chambers of Congress, the White House, the majority of gubernatorial

seats and the majority of state legislatures.

The GOPs political dominance has resulted in what many regard as conservative control

of the judicial branch, with a conservative-leaning Supreme Court and President Trump making judicial

appointments at an unprecedented level.

The 2016 election proved wrong Obama-era predictions that a combination of demographic changes

in the country including a decline of whites and evangelicals, and a blossoming

minority population would result in an everlasting Democrat lock on the White House.

Contrary to almost every mainstream forecast, Republican Donald Trump won the presidency

over Hillary Clinton, the Democrat nominee, while Republicans were able to maintain control

of the House and Senate and even made gains in down-ballot offices.

The election outcome proved wrong the theory that white Americans are quickly losing sway

in electoral politics.

Has Zero Proof

However, since announcing his intention earlier this year to retire from the Senate, Flake

has become one of Trumps biggest adversaries from within the Republican Party, frequently

sparring with the president publicly.

The Arizona senator has gone on to criticize the president and the GOP over a number of

issues.

More recently, Flake took a hard stance against Roy Moore, the controversial Republican candidate

for Alabamas special Senate election.

The Arizona senator not only withheld support for Moore, he openly supported his Democrat

opponent, Doug Jones, by writing his campaign a $100 donation.

Flake was to run for re-election in 2018, but with polling numbers that showed him deeply

unpopular with Arizona Republican voters, he announced in October he would instead retire

at the end of his term.

Easy Guitar Capo Tutorial - Duration: 18:11.

Hi there. Hey a capo is a great tool when used properly. In this video, you'll learn

everything you need to know to use this clever tool confidently and to get the

most bang out of it.

Hi there, I'm Tomas Michaud of Real Guitar Success. If you're new here go

ahead and subscribe to my channel so I can send you some more guitar lessons

and help you build confidence, connect with others and have fun. Using a capo is

a valuable skill for anyone learning guitar fortunately it's not difficult

though there are a few things that you'll need to know to make the most use

out of this simple but powerful tool. There are many different ways to use a

capo. However most of the time we use a capo to adjust the pitch of the song up

or down to better suit the singer either yourself or someone else. By learning to

use the capo in this way, you'll actually be learning the skills that you need to

use it in many other ways as well. It's kind of a three-fer that's a that's

a twofer but you get the idea. In this video we'll start off with some of the

basics of using a capo then we'll go more into depth on raising and lowering

the pitch of a song using a capo. I'm gonna give you a brief music theory

lesson on keys as well if you don't know what that means don't worry you're in

the right place. Then finally I'll give you some jam tracks that you can

practice along with and it'll be a lot more fun. The capo is kind of like a

movable guitar knot so when you make a chord the notes on the chord where your

fingers hit the guitar neck are being sounded by where your fingers hit

near the fret in other words when I make a G chord my third finger is on the 3rd

fret or just before the third fret and that's where it makes a notes out if I

let go it's a different pitch. So in a chord all the notes where my fingers are

on the guitar neck are caused by where my fingers are being placed but the open

strings

are the note is being caused by where the nut is. The nut is this little white

thing on the guitar just between the machine head and the rest of the

guitar neck. So a way to think of a capo is that you're moving the nut of the

guitar neck. So for example if I play a G chord and I move it up two frets it doesn't

sound right. The notes that I'm pressing down went up two frets but all the open

strings stayed the same so by putting a capo on that second fret because I moved

up two frets, now the chord will sound right. It sounds like a chord that's

moved up two steps. Now I want to distinguish between what

we'll call a chord form and the chord itself or the way the chord sounds. A

chord form is a fingering of a chord. For example, this is a G chord form and

without the capo it's also a G sounding chord but I can move that same G chord

form up two frets, put the capo on that second fret like we did before and even

though it's the same form it's not a G chord sound anymore. By moving up two

frets I've gone from G to G sharp that's one fret, the second fret is A it now

actually sounds like an A chord even though I'm using a G chord form. So

here's another example. I'm going to play a C chord. This is a C chord form and

it's also the cute C chord sound without the capo. Now when I put the capo on the

2nd fret again and move it up the whole form up two frets

it's a C chord form but this doesn't sound like a C chord

anymore. By moving up two frets C C sharp D it's now a D chord and the same applies

as you move the capo up and down. The sound of the chord is different but you

can still use the same chord forms. Normally when we talk about chords we're

just talking about the sound of the chords but when we're talking about

using a capo we need to distinguish the form of a chord, the basic fingering, and

the sound because it'll be different as you move up and down. Now Ive mention the

word pitch already. When we say we're raising the pitch we're making the note

higher. When we say we're lowering the pitch we're making the note lower. For

example, if I have a note and I want to raise the pitch I would go up the neck

to make the note higher. I'm raising the pitch and in reverse if I want to

lower it I'll go back down the neck. Sometimes we want to raise the pitch or

lower the pitch of an entire song to better suit someone singing along with the

song. It's common in that case to say we're changing the key of the song.

There's a relationship between pitch and key

but they're not exactly the same thing. The main thing to know right now is that

we'll be using the idea of changing the key to either raise or lower the pitch.

As an example, I'm gonna use a song ___5:10 ___ that starts with the G chord

and then it goes to a C chord, a D chord and then back to the G chord. Now we could

say that this song is in the key of G. If I wanted to raise the pitch of the song

I can put the capo on the first fret and then play the exact same chord forms

everything up one fret. Now I've raised the pitch of the song by one fret when

fret is equal to one half step in music. Now the song is actually in the key of G

sharp. G sharp is one half step away from G so if I want to raise it a little

farther I could go up another fret. Now from the

original I've gone up two frets which is two half steps or one whole step. I've

gone from G to G sharp to A now. Even though I'm playing a G chord form

it sounds like an A chord. The C, the chord would actually be d one step away from C

and this chord which was a D chord in the previous key now sounds like E one

whole step up. Does that make sense? So this is an easy way to raise the

pitch of a song if it's a little low for the singer but what about if the song is

already too high and you want to make it lower so now here's where things get

interesting. The idea of what we're gonna do is we're gonna switch the chords

around so that it's in a much lower key preferably lower than we actually need it.

Then we're gonna put the capo on the guitar with the new chords and raise it

up little by little until it's just where we want it. This is where a music

theory lesson could come in handy. A simple definition of the key of a song

is the chord or note where it feels like you're at home. The tonic chord we call

it home chord. So taking the key of G as an example the G note or the G chord

would feel like home. Now you're probably going to use the G scale much of the

time and you're gonna use chords that fit with the key of G but the idea is that as

you go through the song when you get to that G chord or the G note and the

melody it feels like home so that's the key of G. So in this case we're gonna

start with the key of G, follow along. We still got the same three chords. The G

chord which is the home chord right tonic or home chord, a C chord and the D

chord. And we're gonna jump down to a lower key, the key of D. So one way to do

this or to figure it out is to go backwards on the musical alphabet and

count. Let me just give a quick review of the musical alphabet.

It starts with A, B, C , D , E , F, G, H no hahaha got you! There's no H. It ends in G and

then you start over, A, B, C , D , E , F, G, A, B, C , D , E , F, G and so on. So we'll start with the G

chord and we're gonna count backwards to D G F E D G F E E. We're going back three

notes. Now all the other chords will do the same thing. Will take the C chord now

we'll go back three notes. C is the first note and I'm going back B. What comes

before B? A G so now in place of the C chord we're gonna play a G chord

so if we got a D chord a G chord. Now that last one originally we were playing

a D chord right but we're going to go back three notes. Start with D what comes

before D, C very good B, oh you're faster than me

and A so we're gonna end up with A.

Now what we've ended up with in the key of D

we're starting with a D chord, we'll go to a G chord and an A chord and that's

the key of D.

We could say we just changed the key or transpose the song to the key of D.

Transpose is just a fancy word for we changed the key so that's cool.

Oh ha, you now know how to transpose a song. If it is too low for our voice now what

we'll do is put the capo on starting with the first fret and check it out and

see if it's right. By putting on the first fret I just raised the song that's

now in D to D sharp that's one half step up, D sharp.

Okay and if that's still too low, I would keep going up another half step

from D sharp to E another half step. Now this song is in E and see I'm still

playing the D chord form, the G chord form, the A chord form but it sounds in

the key of D. It's one full step above the D without the cable.

But what if in fact the song wasn't low enough to start with going down to D

Well, one of the things I could do is to transpose or change the key down even

lower. In this case, let's go ahead and change it to the key of A which is quite

a bit lower and just for practice let's go ahead and count out those notes as

well. Okay remember your musical alphabet again A, B, C, D, E, F, G - A, B, C, D, E, F, G and so on okay now

so on. Okay , now we're go from the key of G to the key of A. We could start G going

backwards because we're going down G, F E D C B A. But one of the things that is

really helpful is sometimes you can just do the same thing by going up and it's

easier. In this case, A is just one step above G and because the whole musical

alphabets in a cycle it's the same thing. Going up one step to A is the same as

going back to A. So in case of G I'll just go up one step G to A. Now the new

first chord will be A. That one was pretty easy huh. Now in place of the C

chord, remember we're doing G C and D. In places of the C chord we're gonna go up

one step to D now that second chord will be a D chord.

We've got A D and what's the final chord? So in the original progression of the song

it was the D chord and we're gonna go up one step D to E. Well yeah but will

play like this with a D chord so now we've got A, its the first chord, D, E

and then we'll go back to A that'll be the new song. We can say that we

transpose the song to the key of A now and that's quite a bit lower. What you

could do now is put the cable on the first fret and start raising it up to

see where you want it. Now on the first fret I've raised the whole

key up by half a step so is now a sharp.

If I go one more fret it's going to be A sharp to B is the next half step. Now

the song if I play it'll be B. It will sound like B even though I'm using the same

chord forms. If I go one more half step it'll be B sharp.

Nooo! There's only remember a half step between B and C so it goes to C from

there. Now Ive just raise the song up to C and I only have the capo on the third

fret. It's one thing to understand something intellectually like this but

it's another to be able to actually use it. Here are three exercises that you can

use to play along with and kind of integrate this understanding by playing

and listening it'll make more sense and it'll be much more usable. Okay for this

first exercise, we're gonna start off so let's just play the basic song in the

original key of G. We'll start off with a G chord going to just strum four times

along with me

then we will go to the C chord

to the D chord and back to the G.

Now just for fun, call this the one chord. Don't worry what it means for now, you

may already know then call the C chord the four chord. It sounds funny. It should be

two, no, four and then the D chord the 5 chord. So this is the one four five

one okay. Just for fun - one chord, four chord, five chord, one chord. Now we're going to

put the capo on and raise this whole thing up to the key of A. First fret

would be G, the G sharp one step half step and then one full step would be

from G to A that would be the second fret so now when I play the G chord

it's gonna sound like A. The C chord form sounds like D and the D chord form

sounds like E. We're still gonna call the one chord, four chord, five words and one

chord. Now let's play along with a backing

track in the key of A. The backing track is actually playing chords A D and E

but we're gonna play this, let's do it 2 3 4 or

change, D form back to G form.

Say this out loud with me just repeat one chord to the four chord the C form

five chord D and back to the one chord G. For the second exercise, we're going

play the same chord form set G form the C form and the D form but we're going to

move the capo up to the fifth fret that's gonna put it in the key of C.

Follow along with me. We start with G, one one step would be A

up another step

two frets would be B and then we need a half step to get to C that's the fifth

fret so let's put the capo on there. Now when you play a G chord it's actually

gonna sound like a C chord. Let's try it out with the backing track as well. I

have a backing track in the key of C and we're gonna play the same forms and

you'll see it works - three or four times each to the C form to the D form and the G

that's a C chord. C, this is where I'm actually sounding and this is gonna be

something like an F and then G it's a G believe it or not.

You can all say one just for fun .. four

five and back to the line. Okay for exercise

number three we're going to change the chords around and we're going to change

them to the A version. Now remember we did this, the new chords will be an A

chord the D chord and E chord. One chord will be A, the four chord would be D and the

five chord will be E. So we're going to put the capo on the third fret and raise

this up to the key of A up one step or two frets would be B and the

half-step would be C on the third fret that will make it in the key of C so now

we're going to play the a form and that will be a C chord this is another way to

play in the key of C one of the neat things about this is if you have a hard

time with the F chord you see now you playing the F chord without actually

having to do the difficult fingering, let's try this with the backing track.

This is also in the key of C, one two three four

D chord form, D form , E form and to the A form which is actually a C right now.

Let's do the number thing one, chord, four chord, five chord and the one chord. Hey,

you're pretty good! So that's it for the exercises. I created a couple of jam

tracks that you can download , no charge, to practice along with. It's a great way

to train your ears to hear these chord changes as well as to integrate these

ideas and it's a lot of fun. Thank you for joining me in this video. Hope you

enjoyed it. I got a quick question for you.

How advanced are you on the capo? Is this a brand new thing for you or have you

been using a capo for a while. Let me know. Leave a comment down below this

video and if you haven't already please go ahead and subscribe. I look forward to

seeing you again soon. Bye!

3 Light Studio Setup: The Breakdown with Miguel Quiles - Duration: 8:29.

In this video I'm going to demonstrate for

you guys how I set up a three light

photo shoot, to shoot some beauty

portraits in the studio! Welcome back to

The Breakdown my name is Miguel Quiles

and I'm here in the studio today with

miss Anna, and we're going to shoot some

portraits in the studio today, using

three lights, and I'm going to break down

exactly how I'm going to set up these

lights for you all. Right so, let's go

ahead and let's talk about this lighting

here. Our main light that I'm going to be

using here is a Profoto D2 head, and I

have this inside of a white beauty dish,

and I've actually put a grid on this

beauty dish, because I want to

concentrate the light just on her face,

and I'm going to have this centered above.

So this is going to be the main light.

Behind I actually have a Profoto D2 inside

of a 4 x 6 softbox, and this softbox is

actually being shot through a 6x6

Lastolite scrim, and what this is doing

is it's actually triple diffusing the

light that's coming out of this softbox.

All this is doing is just bringing up

the ambient light in this shot, and

creating an interesting catch-light in

her eyes, immediately below this, which

I'm going to be shooting from here. I

actually have a silver reflector and I

have it sitting on this table. My goal is

that I want to try to get a little bit

of a catch light on the bottom of her

eyes, and so this is going to be what we're

using to add even more fill to her eyes,

to the bottom of her jaw, so it's going

to be perfect.

Let's go ahead and take a look at this

third light, which is a Profoto D1,

and what I've done is, I've actually put

barn-doors on this particular light, what

I'm trying to do is to concentrate,

because she's going to be standing here and

I kind of want this light to just kind

of hit on the side of her face, and maybe

give her a little outline on the side of

her jacket. And this light, what I'm going

to end up doing is, just so that you guys

can follow along, and recreate this on

your own. I'm actually going to set this

shot up, one light at a time, so you guys

can see how I build up my lighting. So

before we do that, let's talk about the

camera, and the lens that we're going to

use. Just so that you guys are

aware of what I'm using. All right, so I

have with me here in the studio, the Sony

a7r III and I have it paired up with the

new 24-105mm f/4 G Series lens, and this

is going to be what I'm going to be shooting

in the studio with. It's actually a

really nice lens to be able to shoot

portraits, because I could shoot the wide

shots at 24 if I desired, or I could

shoot a very tight close-up shot, which

if you follow my work on social media

you know, I love shooting those very

tight shots. I'm going to be triggering all

of these lights using the Profoto air

remote. Now, I will say this because I've

have had people mention in the videos

that 'well, you're using these really

expensive lights'. As a professional this

is what I choose to use, however I will

tell you that whatever lights it is that

you have, whether they be Profoto

lights, or if you have some other brand

of lights, understand that the principals

are going to be the same. So you really

want to look more towards where the lights

are positioned, more so than exactly what

the brand is of the lights that are

being used! So with that little blurb

being said, let's go ahead and let's talk

about how we're going to set up these

lights and start shooting. So when we are

shooting with 3 lights, what I would

advise is that you set these up one

light at a time, so that you make sure

that each light is doing what you

intended to do. So the first light we're

going to set up, is the main light, which

again is this Profoto light, with the

beauty dish in the grid, and we're going to

go ahead, and we're going to take one

shot. Here I'm going to zoom in nice and

tight, so we could see, and beautiful. So with

this first shot, I'm going to throw it up

on the screen. You're going to see exactly

what this main light is doing, and you're

going to notice that the background is not

very red, you're also going to notice that

the shadows are pretty deep. So that's ok!

because the very next thing that I'm

going to do, is I'm going to turn off this

main light, and then I'm going to go ahead

and set up this rear light here, and this

light right now, is set to a 7.8

and your power is going vary so

it's going to depend on your lights and

the the position so you're going to have to

play with that to taste. You could meter]

it out as well, so if you have a light

meter that will help you out, but right

now we're going to take a shot, very nice,

perfect! And so now I'm going to throw this

one up on the screen. You're going to be

able to see that, now this shot went from

being dark where the background was

really dark, but we're getting a really

flat light which is okay. You know some

people might look at it and say 'wow'! This

is great, we could just shoot it this way,

but now that we have the main light and

the fill light set up. Let's go ahead and

let's set up the backlight, so we can add

a little bit more interest, a little bit

more separation from the backdrop. All

right, so I went ahead and I turned off

this fill light, and so now both of the

main in the fill light are both turned

off, and now I'm going to go ahead and turn

on this backlight, which again has fun

barn doors on them. Turn that on, and all

this is going to do, is to basically add

a little bit of a separation from her in

the backdrop, add a nice highlight on the

side of the head, so I do want to make

sure that this is pointed directly at

her head, and usually what I do is stand

in the same line, just to make sure that

it's actually facing the right direction,

which it currently is. Perfect so let's

go ahead and shoot, and this one is again

just the backlight, and we'll take this

shot. Fantastic.. all right.. so I'm going to

throw this shot up on the screen, so now

we have just that little kind of

separation light in this shot, and now

because we have everything looking the

way that I want it to look, turn on the

main light. Turn on the fill light, we're

ready to go. So let's go ahead, let's turn

everything on. Let's start shooting now,

one of the nice things about using a

system like this, is that I could

actually power each individual light off

of the remote, so I have the backlight

set to group B. I have the main light set

to group A, and the fill light set to

group C, and if at any point in time I

decide that I want to add more or less power,

I'm able to do that from the remote. So

for example I'm going to play back this one

shot. The highlights on the back of the

hair are looking really good actually,

going to boost that up just a little, so

I'll go to the B group,

and we're good. Take a little sidestep in

this way, very nice, perfect, great, I'm

going to play this one back. Yeah, that looks

awesome, perfect. Little sidestep in again

this way

very good, I'm going to stand on my apple

box, very good, excellent, great, we'll

shoot a couple of vertical shots here,

and again with the 24-105mm. I'm

actually changing the focal length here,

so I'm shooting this at 105mm, however I

can kind of shoot this wide as well. I

love that, very nice, great, excellent, love

it, love it, love it, a little bit, there we

go. Perfect! So I hope that this kind of

gives you a little bit more insight into

how I set up my multiple light shots in

the studio. Had a lot of fun today, and I

thank you so much for modeling for me,

and make sure while you're here, that you

subscribe to AdoramaTV, they have a lot

of great videos that are coming out all

15 Unspoken Rules For Having Friends With An Introvert - Duration: 4:57.

15 Unspoken Rules For Having Friends With An Introvert

Socialization is always tricky, and it becomes even more problematic when it comes to a relation

between introverts and extroverts.

Indeed, introverts may be outgoing sometimes.

However, some introverts really do not want to hang out at all.

Therefore, you should know what rules you should know when you have an introverted friends.

However, as some people stated, "opposites attract".

Introverts and extroverts may on the opposite ends of the personality spectrum, but they

often attract each other, it is probably due to human nature, they tend to envy on each

other personality.

And when you think of it, surely it makes total sense.

If you happen to have an introverted best friends, here are some unspoken rules for

having friends with an introvert.

Before we jump to the lists, make sure to like this video and subscribe to our channel,

so you won't miss any of our interesting updates in the future.

#1 - Avoid crowd

If you want to ask introverts to go out, you should not make it a group trip.

Instead, go for a walk one-on-one.

This keeps the introverts from being intimidated and drained.

Thus, you can have good quality time with them.

#2 - They need oodles of advance notice.

Last minute invites are not their cup of tea.

In fact, they hate it, and often think about it as personal invasion.

It's all to do with a particular type of energy again which is often called extrovert

energy supply, because you know, unlike extrovert they have limited energy.

#3 - They might not show up at your party.

You must know that introverts often drained a lot whenever it comes to party, considering

that they almost wanted to cancel every party they ever hosted, it is no surprise that they

often do not want to go to other people's event either.

They always think like, they do have some extrovert energy to spend, but it's very limited.

When it's used up, then it is gone for that day.

#4 - Silence means processing

Introverts think deeply on something.

Be sure to wait for introverts to collect their thoughts.

#5 - Little time is better

Introverts do not like to chit chat.

However, they want special moment though it only lasts a few minutes.

#6 - Encouragement is needed

Introverts get negative feedback from people often.

If you have introvert friends, be sure to treat them better by encouraging them.

It can go a long way before they open up, but encouragement definitely makes introvert

less intimidated.

#7 - Don't invite others

Introverts are somewhat strict to what they have heard.

Do not make them disappointed by asking more people to hang out with.

Reducing the count is always acceptable, but adding more people is not.

#8 - Introverts can get lost

It is pretty common that you are left since the introverts wander their minds.

However, you just need to wait and do not ask things like, "where did you go".

#9 - Introverts like talking too

They are still human, but they need a proper stage before talking.

This is the limit that most people do not understand, and a good friend should know

when your introverted friends can talk.

#10 - Do not chat too much

Chatting to introverts should not be too intense since they need space too.

Some introverts also prefer small high-quality time instead of continuous exposure.

#11 - Preparing mental before hanging out

Introverts need to prepare themselves before they are ready to hang out with others.

Charging the mental to kick in takes a while, and a good friend should notice this.

#12 - Schedule first

Though introverts may like you, they do not like surprise especially when you arrive at

their home suddenly.

Therefore, it is a good idea to schedule first and stick with it.

#13 - Introverts don't text back quickly.

It is mentally draining to just return the message.

Be patient to wait since the introverts are still organizing the words before saying something

to you.

#14 - Avoid frequent hanging out

Hanging out with introverts should not be done frequently since they need to recharge

their energy in between.

#15 - They mean what they say

Sometimes, you insist to ask introverts to go out.

Unfortunately, it is not good habit since introverts tend to be straightforward especially

when it comes to gathering and hanging out.

All in all, that's the 15 unspoken rules for having friends with an introvert .

Really cool information isn't it!

I RIDE ON STAGE IN PARIS-BERCY ! - Duration: 5:05.

Hi this is Jimmy!

I hope you are well !

Today I tell you a crazy experience!

I tell you the show that I could do at a RAP concert

in AccorHotel Arena in Paris!

It was with the Urban Trial Show Team of Julien Perret

I tell you this in the details

The first step of this project was to rehearsals

It was held in Aix-en-Provence for 2 days

Departure 3am, we had to be there for 11am.

The goal was to do a global rehearsal of the concert,

validate all the choreography,

and see what we could do on stage !

We will see the summary of the day it's gone!

So these 2 days of rehearsals were really good !

We could make several run-throughs of the full-concert,

We were ready for Bercy!

We found a good choreography!

Little scare on the first backflip,

the scene was really short,

There was not enough lenght for the backflip

with the big speakers present on the both sides of the stage and all the lights,

So first backflip, not enough speed.

I arrived with the rear wheel touching the ramp.

It was a bit scary, no crash, so it was ok !

After this, we found a way to have 2m more lenght and then it was perfect!

After these 2 days of rehearsals, we were ready to go to Paris,

Lets go for the summaryof Paris!

Okay so it was CRAZYYY !

It is unimaginable the number of person present here,

15,000 people shouting, it was crazy !

This show is the most ....

CRAZY things

I could do in my life !

A big thanks to UrbanTrialShow for allowing me to live this!

I hope you enjoyed this video!

Do not hesitate to put a like if you liked it,

to subscribe to the channel,

to tell me in the comments what you thought about it,

and see you soon for the next video!

Bye !

PAINTING MY NEW GURDY GREEN @ BASS LINE - Duration: 3:51.

That's green!

A nice, vibrant green

what kind of green do you want?

This one is a little too blue

I am so used to the green on my other gurdy!

I think it's very pretty! (just a little too dark)

Then we have to mix a new green

But we'll use this green as a base

and a bit of yellow

let's see if that goes the right way

It shouldn't get much darker

then we need more yellow

Walter: "Nice!"

I like it

Shall we make it a little brighter?

Yes, a little bit brighter maybe

Walter: But not much!

Let's give it another try- we still have some space left on this piece ;-)

Walter: But it's already good

I like the yellow in it

W: Yeah- it looks like a springtime colour! It has the sun in it

Yes and it looks a bit like moss that way

Ooh well that's very bright!

Rüdiger: We can always go darker, that's no problem

Excellent!

Well done!

Master of Colours!

Auld Lang Syne | LEARN LYRICS | Traditional New Year's Eve Song | British Culture - Duration: 5:37.

Let's be honest most of us do not know more than a couple of lines of the

traditional song auld lang syne and as we're coming up to New Year's Eve I

thought what a perfect opportunity for us to learn some more of the lyrics

together. Now I have a look and of course written by Robert Burns these are

written in a Scottish dialect so some of these words might seem completely

unfamiliar to you. I'm going to try my best to pronounce them properly so

forgive me if you are Scottish and you think I'm making a total mess of this

but I'm going to try my best here we go I'll speak them and then we'll sing them

There are a couple of those words that I am completely unsure whether I've done them right or not, but

let's have a sing song together and if push comes to shove you can always just

mumble the words that you're not sure let's do it.

I hope you found that helpful, if you did please do give it a thumbs up try to remember those lyrics. Have an

amazing New Year's Eve and the best of New Year's take care and goodbye

Atomic Annie and Blue Peacock: Citation Needed 7x06 - Duration: 16:25.

This is the Technical Difficulties, we're playing Citation Needed.

Joining me today, he reads books y'know, it's Chris Joel.

Hello!

Everybody's favourite Gary Brannan, Gary Brannan.

It--

And the bounciest man on the internet, Matt Gray.

Bienvenue, YouTube!

Ah, très bien!

In front of me I've got an article from Wikipedia and these folks can't see it.

Every fact they get right is a point and a ding,

and there's a special prize for particularly good answers, which is...

And today we are talking about Atomic Annie.

Oh! Is it a terrible way to teach people how to do resuscitation?

"Now children, after the bombs fall,

"you may find that the person you're resuscitating has bad breath."

Am I guessing it's not an Atomic Ruj… res…?

Put your teeth in, try it one more time.

Resusci Anne.

No, it's not.

Who is a real person.

- What? - Who is?

Resusci Anne.

You know the thing you use when you're doing resuscitation practice, the face.

Oh, so you can walk down the street, "oh, I recognise you from… oh.".

Well. Let us cast our minds back to 18th, no, I think it must be 19th Century Paris.

Or early 20th Century Paris, whatever…

Pick a decade, any decade!

Who noticed she had that weird click when you pressed her chest, and what were they doing?

You know she was a dead body pulled out the Seine, right?

No, no!

Yeah, the Resusci Annie is based on an unidentified corpse that was pulled out of the Seine

and they cast the face.

This is where it gets grim, the person who did the autopsy… something like the…

Yeah, because before that it was bucket of f***ing laughs!

No, this is just a Thursday night in Paris so far.

They pulled the body out and whoever was doing the autopsy thought she was so beautiful,

they made a cast of her face and that is the face that is used on the Resusci Anne dolls.

I'm not giving you any points because it's not even remotely related to the subject,

but you are entirely right.

By a process of elimination we know what it isn't, though, eh, Sherlock?

It's like someone came along and went, "Now that's a fit corpse."

Yeah!

No. No.

My God, when you put it that way, yes, yes…

It again raises the question of the clicking noise.

You are absolutely right.

A young woman whose death mask because a fixture on the walls of artist's homes.

Urgh.

Yeah. Don't do that.

Is it in the testing sites?

Is it the fridge that Indiana Jones went in?

No, that's Atomic Smeg which raises more questions, yet again.

It is certainly military hardware, but you're not close enough to get a point here.

Is it when they tried to power a plane with a nuclear reactor in the 50s?

Ooh, no.

Damn it!

- Oh s***! Really? - What was that, I haven't got…?

It was when atomic power was The Way of The Future and Would Harm No One!

Erm, did you not see what we just did, guys?

Anyway, they were building nuclear reactors down to, I presume, like the size of this stage

and they put in a, well, it must have been a B29, because it was a prop…

It was a B36 according to this.

I'm sorry, it must have been a B36.

Cut that.

Anyway, they made a nuclear powered aeroplane,

and I don't think it worked 'cos they've stopped doing it.

Ain't that an episode of Thunderbirds?

They never actually connected the engines to the propeller.

Now that's where they went wrong.

That would be why it didn't work!

That would be why it didn't work, I'm not a scientist, but I--

"I've turned both bits on, it's not going anywhere!"

Some dude stood in the middle of the plane going, "Huh, huh?"

Have a go…

"Oh no, metric and imperial!"

If there's one thing that too much science fiction has taught me,

it's that going like that immediately results in a load of sparks

and you're going, "Argh"!

Yes, but it might have taken off!

Yes, but you're fine after it! You've saved something.

No.

We've not got off the blocks! This is the longest we've ever been stuck with nowhere.

Is it a Blondie album?

Oh f***.

It's an atomic something and it's ground-based ordinance here.

Cannon!

Point. You are absolutely right.

Ground-based ordinance. Cannon…

Trebuchet…

Atomic trebuchet! Bloody hell, you could!

Are you firing atomic things, or is this just a massive atomic powered structure?

It's an atomic powered thing that fires… Atomic Kitten.

That would go for… miles? I don't know.

But only when the tide is high.

Atomic Kitten songs…

'Cos if you're going to fire at it something, it'll make a hole again.

And cause an eternal flame.

Chris, Chris, it's okay, it's okay.

It's Okay is another... Atomic...

I can't believe that's the third time I've done the walk out.

So the atomic cannon, then?

Yes, an atomic cannon developed about when?

50s.

Tuesday!

Wednesday, in the 50s.

Yes, have a point, early 1950s, I'm giving Matt the point there.

At the beginning of the Cold War.

Well, of course it was 50s if it was atomic.

They developed for three years, the idea being

to make a cannon that would fire a small nuclear device.

That's ballsy.

How did they get it around?

Train!

How big was this thing?

Very.

Train. Very.

Ding. Quicker…

Correction. Two trains!

Bigger!

I'm giving you a point for big, and I'm giving you a point for two.

It was two tractors, but it required two extra-long fire trucks to move the thing.

- Okay. - Ooh.

It is an 84 tonne gun.

Did it need to be that big?

Yes! If you're firing atomic weapons,

you want it far enough away that the blast wave doesn't get you,

which means it needs to be a-big, as previously mentioned.

Yes, you are absolutely right. What was its effective firing range?

Far!

Somewhere in three digits of miles. Price is Right rules!

Six.

Miles?

I haven't specified a unit.

I will say 200 miles, Price is Right, go…

Six miles.

A furlong.

That's not very far.

It might have been a failure, it came out the top and just went "plunk".

Which is not great for an atomic device, but no, about 20 miles, so have a point.

And they did actually fire this. Where did they fire this?

In the desert.

I'll give you a point for the desert, the Nevada test site.

Yes, that one that you can still go to, weirdly, on a day trip.

It's a bit far.

They do…

Not from here, unless you're going by nuclear cannon, obviously.

Did Bach ever write an atomic canon?

Did what? Oh, for God's sake.

That's a hell of an organ.

That's right, it's the classical music gags, everybody!

The test was successful, they made 20 of the cannons. They cost...

What, 20?

What were they planning on doing in the 50s with 20 cannons?!

Shooting the Russians, remember?

Miles away!

No, no in all fairness…

Have a point.

How big is the land gap between the US and Russia?

Drive to an empty bit of Alaska and shell an empty bit of Russia and just go pfft!

Can I just use three words:

moral f***ing victory!

What you've invented there, Gary, is a really bad intercontinental ballistic missile.

Well this is, isn't it, basically?

Yes, but it wasn't just Europe and Russia it was deployed to,

where else would they have sent it to?

Did they send it to Korea to s*** them up?

Yes they did. What were some of the problems with this?

Didn't work.

It did work.

It got all leaves in it.

Everything that was carrying it went backwards faster than the thing went forwards.

When they got there it wasn't really all that useful, why not?

Because the Russians had invented an atomic super cannon.

Yes, it's called an intercontinental ballistic missile.

As we scientists call it.

Yes, you're absolutely right, better things had been invented.

So, while they still had it and it was still a prestige weapon

they didn't ever actually fire it.

In the end they realised they could just make atomic shells for what?

Beaches.

Any artillery piece in the inventory.

Exactly right. They didn't need the cannon,

they could just build a bigger regular cannon and put a nuclear shell in it.

There was something else here called the Davy Crockett weapon system.

This was an attempt to put a nuclear device in another bit of weaponry,

what might this have been?

A firework!

Oh, we're not back to wedging things in cats, are we?

A sword!

"Drive me closer! I want to hit them with my nuclear sword!"

How would that even work?

You perch it on the end like…

The Davy Crockett weapon system!

Musket!

Bullets.

You know what you're closer, it was a recoilless rifle.

So essentially a rocket launcher with a nuclear bomb on the end of it.

And it didn't have any recoil?

Recoilless rifle essentially means the back end is open,

so you're basically putting a hollow tube up and the exhaust gases come out the back.

A hollow tuba?

They're all hollow. That's how they work. If they weren't hollow, you'd just...

Oh, yeah!

Solid tuba!

Do you want to do the gesture? We've all done it once.

Come on, get in on this.

What were some of the problems with this,

with a shoulder mounted rocket launcher nuclear weapon?

You had to carry the ammunition!

And it's right next to your head.

That didn't have the range to get you out of blast distance.

And that's the big one, yes.

Who the f*** is going to fire it?!

"So this is fine, yeah?" "Yeah."

"It's glowing, you know that don't you?" "Yes, yes, it's all cool."

"If this hits that guy am I dead as well?"

"Yeah." "Fuck you."

Just drop it. Just drop it!

In fact, far worse, he dies instantly, you get a slow lingering death.

Yes. That's the other problem.

Instantly lethal within 150 metres of where it hits,

fatal dose within a quarter mile of landing.

Just drop it.

Just leg it!

Also, what couldn't you do to the bomb after you fired it?

Pick it up.

Hug it.

Juggle it.

Use it again.

Paint a watercolour.

I said "fired", not landed.

It's not like you're going to abort it, it explodes with a nuclear bomb…

If it's going to get you anyway, it's going to get you sooner if you abort it.

There wasn't an abort option, that was the problem.

No, it's a nuclear bomb! You've already fired it!

But that's not what sets off a nuclear bomb.

- Yes. - That's true that.

You fire it or you drop it or whatever, and then the timer sets it off.

Because nuclear bombs have accidentally fallen out, haven't they,

and gone off but not exploded,

because there's one.. is there one off the coast of Spain, or something like that?

Oh, don't look up "list of nuclear accidents" on Wikipedia.

Yeah, it's terrifying.

Seriously.

There's certainly one off the waters of, I think it's Georgia in the US?

So yeah, have a point.

But you don't want to turn the timer off,

because then you've given it to them and they're just going to throw it back to you.

In the post!

Oh that's a good point. Did you just say in the post?

Well, you just set the timer a little bit longer!

You just wind it up!

You address it in a big box that looks like a birthday cake. You put it in the mail.

Why would you have a box that looks like a birthday cake?

Because that box that looks like a birthday cake

is in a bigger box that looks like the kind of box a birthday cake might come in.

Oh, that's me told!

Inception boxing!

Are you a spy, and you haven't told us?

Alright, and then you address it to

"Head of FBI, the Pentagon. Happy birthday."

and then like your mum always does on birthday cards,

"Do not open until…"

And he'll go, "Oh, for my birthday, it's in a few weeks."

Puts it in the corner of his office, opens it up, a cake!

Cuts into the cake,

and that's when your timer goes off.

Don't you get it so the bomb pops out of the cake and goes, "Happy Birthday, Mr President…"

An atomic Marilyn Monroe!

Talk about a blonde bombshell.

Really? Really?

Yes, that's your one for the season, let 'em clap.

Tom, that's a beautiful shot.

No, to be fair that was you bowling it straight down the middle of the crease

and we're just going, "oh, this is easy."

You met it well. I'll give it…

Ha, crease…

Meanwhile, in Britain.

There is a somewhat related slightly ridiculous weapon project here.

Oh, as opposed to where we've been perfectly sensible up to now.

Yes, and it's called Blue Peacock.

This was a British attempt to create a tactical nuclear weapon.

They were going to put nuclear mines in Germany.

S***!

What's the problem with burying something like that, that's electronic...

- You don't know where the f*** you've put it! - You don't know where it is.

That is one problem, yes.

One problem with that is that during the winter it gets very cold,

the electronics don't work.

How do you keep something like that underground warm? What was the plan?

Thermos flask.

Sending sheep out to wee on it.

I'm never going camping with you, ever.

This only needed to last a week or so. So how do you keep that warm for a week?

Oil fire.

Blankets.

No, it's something that is going to generate its own heat for a while.

A cat.

You are very close.

Oh God.

Cows.

A bit big to bury there with a nuclear mine.

They buried animals with the things?

The plan was to bury a chicken. So I'm going to give you the point.

F***ing hell!

Who goes, "okay, we've got this bomb, this high tech nuclear thing…"

Yep, we need to keep it warm.

"What we need to is we put it underground and we need to keep it warm,

"what do we need to put it on?

"Chickens!"

No, Jeff, Jeff, we can come up with a better solution.

- "Chickens!" - "Chickens."

Hang on here, are we talking a box here with a live chicken in it,

and an egg-sized nuclear weapon so that the chicken just gives it this number

until the timer goes off.

That sounds like it would work.

Yeah, that was the plan, it never actually happened.

Isn't it a motion detection bomb and you're putting a chicken,

one of the flappiest animals….

It doesn't detect itself.

So how do you set it off, do you step on the chicken?

Well it's a mine, right, so you make your box,

you put your chicken in the box.

Oh, the chicken's in the mine?

Yes.

You put your chicken in the box, you put your pressure pad on top,

or whatever and then you put your…

Right so you've got this really, really high tech thing

and then you put a chicken inside it,

because that's what is going to make this high-tech thing better!

Yes, because it will keep it at a working temperature

without needing to plug anything into it or keep it running.

I sometimes have problems starting my car in the winter,

shall I put a f***ing chicken in the engine?

No, just get a normal chicken, the f***ing ones are too distracted.

Can you imagine the--

Warm, cold, warm, cold, warm, cold.

NATO's retreated that-a-way, right.

You approach what is... you won't even signpost it as a minefield would you, like today.

You would just probably see the field.

"Chicken farm."

And suddenly…

"Free eggs, please come in…".

In Russian.

It says it in English but with "in Russian" in brackets underneath.

But you approach this mysteriously newly dug field,

that has nothing on it apart from the sound of clucking from beneath.

Well let's face it, it works doubly then

because you f***ing wouldn't follow them over that field!

"What the s*** is going on here?" You'd go back to...

"What is it?" "A field of ghost chickens..."

At which point, one of the chickens has pecked his way out

and suddenly from beneath the soil, a chicken's head just pops out.

No, no, it's got to do Night of the Living Dead, it's got to be the right wing.

Ohh!

Suddenly irradiated chickens start popping out of the ground all over,

and that's before the bomb's gone off!

Proposed, seconded, get 'em built…

Can I just say, Suddenly Irradiated Chicken is the name of my new prog band,

for reals this time.

I like you have The Cluck from Below like it's a horror film.

The Cluck from Below!

"New from M. Night Showaddywaddy: The Cluck from Below."

Many animals were harmed in the making of this movie.

So at the end of the show, congratulations Matt, you win this week.
