EASY DRUGSTORE NYE MAKEUP | HOLOGRAPHIC GLITTER LINER - Duration: 14:01.

deuces just kidding in the background peekaboo it's Kim Kardashian

Merry Christmas hey guys and welcome back to my channel so today I am doing

this drugstore glam look which i think is perfect for New Year's if you want to

you know start off 2018 right but a Glan so I have is a really pretty like

holographic eyeliner and it is so cute yeah so if you want to see all the

products that I used to get this look stay tuned because I am gonna just get

started right there okay so just start I've already done my

eyebrows I used the color pop of brow pomade and dope talk and I know some

people don't consider this drugstore but I do even though it's an online thing

because like this itself cost like five dollars so colour-pop is cheaper than

any drugstore you'll ever go to so that's how I've included it because if

you are on a budget not that all the drugstore thing goes like cheap but if

you're on a budget this is what you want to go for i haven't phoned me doing my

eyebrows i just feel like that ways ends up taking like 10 million years and then

you get like 10 minutes of the video or like when she actually gonna start her

makeup so yeah so i've done my eyebrows with that i used a bit of the LA girl

eye bracket wax i don't know why i really like to wax my eyebrows before I

put any light pomade or anything on them I feel like it just makes it go on a lot

smoother um otherwise that's what I'm gonna do for now for those I'm just

gonna clean those brows up so I can see ya I'm gonna take the LA girl Pro

concealer in the color porcelain and this like little tiny brush I think I

got and like an eye shadow get at some point in my life and I'm just gonna use

that to clean up my eyebrows

I'm then gonna check the sign conceal improbable with my ass to Primus you

know how it is you know just oh it's not coming out of the container

Oh too much there's no wedding and I'm then taking the wet and wild cover all

pressed powder and Nicola fear Claire and this kind of big face powder face

brush you know what I'm saying I'm just gonna use that to set my eyelids for

eyeshadow I'm taking the color pop I don't know why this is cute AF on the

front anyway it's the color pop yes please palette tada

and I'm just going to be using the there's a light brown shade and I'm

checking us though understand we taking this light brown

shade and applying it through my crease

and then taking a kind of more flat but slightly bigger kind of shader brush and

I'm going to take this ready brown color over here and I'm gonna just apply that

to my outer corners kind of bringing it across the middle

and then to Hume at first small morphe brush I mean take the color next to it

the red color and put that in the outer corners just to deepen it up and read on

the look up a little bit then that matches the red lip I'm gonna do okay so

now I'm going to see make up the crease just a little tiny wee bit and I'm going

to take the LA girl Pro conceal concealer again what's new I'm and this

little little morphe brush all my brushes are new names because they came

in like a set pack but I like a link the pack below if you want to know what's it

a brushes I got um but yes I'm just saying this is a little kind of flat

shader brush it's literally tiny and it's gonna be perfect so I'm just gonna

put some concealer on that Oh too much but I always overdo it and I'm just

gonna cut it in the middle of my eye

and then I'm just gonna set it with the white shade and from the color pop

palette I just think it'll be good to have a matte lid I just want to melt lid

with a glitter liner sir so that is the shadow done I'm gonna go

off camera and just apply some a basic black liner I'm using the Wet n Wild

mega liner and I'm just gonna use that as a guide for I'm going to put my

sparkles but I'm really bad at eilen it so I'm just gonna do it off camera and

then come back so that I don't make anything up so BRB I've done my liner

and it's really messy but it doesn't matter so honestly like if we're not

gonna eyeliner do not worry about it it's gonna get covered with got it

anyway which is a lot easier to look straight and I'm taking the NYX glitter

primer this one here and I'm just gonna use that and I'm gonna start gluing

across like the first half of my eye and then I'm gonna take the NYX this is kind

of like a set of three I'm gonna use the middle one which is this silver

holographic one and then I'll glue the second half and then put the glitter on

that house that the glue doesn't dry too quickly

okay so next we're gonna start doing our face makeup for foundation I am using

the l'oreal infallible total cover I really wanted a full coverage foundation

and I think I actually bought the wrong one oh I bought the wrong color this is

so unfortunate we're just gonna make it work you know whoever puts these things

in the wrong place with their testers you are the worst person alive because

now I'm gonna be yellow yeah so I'm taking the color total light sand and

we're just gonna see how this goes actually that's a lie I haven't primed

well I'm actually gonna take the wet and wild primer one of my favorite primers

ever I don't know what it is about it it just applies nicely minimizes my pores

makes my skin smooth there's not much more I can ask for out of a primer and

it was six dollars the font a really good bargain why I let the primer sink

into my face I'm just gonna take this lush lip scrub I always let see what

lips grab because my lips get really dry and I don't know why so I care of all

the dead skin it also tastes that chocolate sugar so my two favorite

things so now I'm gonna go in with my foundation and the L'Oreal total cover

as I said yeah it's supposed to be high coverage so it's really thick from what

I can tell I've not used it before so let's hope this all goes well oh it's

literally like a pace

I look so white right now this is no what was expected

oh it's not too far my color though I feel like I got the right color I'm just

gonna sit on that one cuz I am still really confused by it but I am gonna

take my concealer again the same one cuz that's my favorite yep so Ali girl good

to whole Salina blah blah blah blah under eyes then I'm just gonna blend it

all in again it with the vo-tech next Beauty blunder I'm then taking the next

HD studio photogenic finishing powder and let's be loose powder and I'm gonna

use that to bake under my eyes and on my chin and then after I like a bronze and

whatever I'm gonna do it under my bronze line because I know um I saw that I'm

gonna make it really messy oh my god I can't open this oh that's good it's

gonna stick around as well also I feel like everyone in the world will take

Christmas down so comment below what you guys got for Christmas I'd really like

to hear I didn't have a big Christmas myself and my mum came over from

Australia and we just had Christmas together last year I had Christmas by

myself and that makes me sound like such a

loser but it was fine I like a - pizza and I watched some like TV shows I

watched the office so I mean you can't say it was a bad Christmas just a a

lonely one yeah so this year was nice yeah but let me know what you guys got

and what you guys did for Christmas I'd love to know

oh let's get a width now I would not recommend this method for application to

my mouth to set the rest of my face from that ridiculousness

I'm gonna use that cover or wet-and-wild powder again cool and now I look so pale

and I can't take it anymore I recently discovered that I've never

been this pale my entire life like when I was in Australia Rose town all the

time I just don't know what's happened I'm gonna take the Maybelline New York

master bronze color and highlighting kit this one so I'm gonna take a mix of the

middle two bronzes just tips on the excess off

I'm also gonna brought that my nose a little bit

um I'm then taking this Maybelline blush does Maybelline fit me blush I don't

remember what color it's in I broke the top of it and and what I like about this

brush is it's not super pigmented because I tend to go overboard with the

blush so I don't want to do that so that's why I like this because you can

just build it up and I'm using the Zoe vote 102 silk finish brush I love this

brush for blush because it's like round and you can get it exactly where you

want it to go and I don't even know what this brush is supposed to be used for

but I think it's the perfect blush brush

for highlighter I'm gonna be taking the color pop flexitarian super shock cheek

highlighter I love this it's like my all-time favorite and it's like oh why

she shamed highlighter so that's why I like it so you don't have to like Dalvin

to your bronzers or your pegs like it's just your like your perfect neutral

highlighter I just like to press that on with my finger and then I like to blend

it out beauty love that so that has no harsh line do anything oh that glider

honestly it gets me every time Wham so now I'm gonna go off camera and

I'm gonna apply it my false lashes I am going to be using the X IBD lashes

things of my favorites I've got another five pack and the XO Beauty lashes into

the shape I'm just gonna go apply that and do my fit to it'll click thing and

then I'll be right back okay so I backtracked on the street clashes

because I found some of my other ones also from XO Beauty I think they called

the soul mate and they're he's just like a beautifully long fluttery lashes and I

think they're perfect for this kind of eye look because it is a bit more

dramatic than what the sheik was gonna give me for mascara I am using the

Maybelline Pumped Up colossal mascara this is the waterproof one I really like

it because you really fluttery lashes and I'm just

uses to kind of blend to my real lashes and my eyelashes my my real lashes and

my fake lashes together and just read the bottom of my ah so that it looks

like I have lashes everywhere

okay and then to tight line my waterline I'm gonna use this black pencil from

designer brand as I usually do I am then gonna go back in with the colour-pop

palette and I'm going to take that ready Barney color again and I'm going to put

that under my eyes and at last but not least for the lips I am going to use as

a wet and wild color Cohen lip liner pencil in berry right and I'm

going to use the Maybelline Viva vivid matte liquid lipstick in red easy day

oh this is so pretty

okay so that is the look completed if you liked this video please give it a

thumbs up and subscribe below I am really happy how everything went this

eyeliner is insane and I definitely recommend you try it especially since it

is joke store again you can go grab it whenever you want if you want to see

more videos like this let me know below the otherwise that is it for this video

and I will catch you guys next time bye

Complete Guide LED Strip Control MQTT OpenHAB ESP8266 : Hardware 2017 - Duration: 6:36.

Hey guys Matt here from MKSmartHouse.com and in this video I am going to show you how to

build the LED Strip Control.

[Intro]

So, in this video we are going to go over all the parts required for the LED Strip Control

and then we are going to make it. To start off with the parts we are going to need 4

1 pin male headers, 1 4 pin female header with long pins, 1 4 pin female header with

short pins, 1 4 pin 90 degree male header, 1 3 pin male header, 1 2 pin male header,

2 2 pin jumpers, 1 DC Jack, 3 TIP 122 Transistors, 3 470 ohm resistors, 1 esp8266, 1 buck converter,

1 custom PCB More on that later, 5 meters of 5050 led strip, black enclosure, wall tac

and a 12 volt 3 amp power adapter. For tools we are going to need a soldering iron with

ST7 tip, flux, steel wire, solder, wall tac, PCB holder, helping hands, wire strippers,

small wire cutters, small flat screwdriver, phillips screwdriver, dremel, multimeter,

drill bits, and a drill. That is everything that we will need. The links to all the parts

and tools will be over on my website, link is in the description. On my website you will

also find the kit for this device, so instead of buying all the parts separately you can

buy 1 kit and get all the parts fast and at the same time. There is even an option to

get the device assembled so all you have to do is install its software and set it up.

In the beginning I did say custom circuit board because to make this easier I designed

a custom circuit board so that way not only will it be very stable and have strong connections

with no guess work in assembling it but, also so I can make many of them really easily for

my house. I have provided the gerber file on my website as well as where to get it made.

You can also buy the PCB on my website, which is the easiest and fastest way to get them.

Since all the connections are already made on the circuit board all we have to do is

solder the components on to the board. First let's take the circuit board and put it into

the circuit board holder. If you look closely at the circuit board you will see that there

are labels next to the component slots, when I say where to put the component that is what

I will be referring to. I like to solder from the less sensitive components to to most sensitive

so, let's start off with the 4 1 pin male headers, put them into slots J1, J2, J4 and

J5. Then solder them in. If you want to know how to solder or how I solder then check out

my guide for the door sensor because in that video I went over it in detail. Next take

the 2 pin male header and solder it into J8. After that take the 3 pin male header and

solder it into slot J6. Following that take the 4 pin female header with short pins and

solder it into slot J7. For the Power Plug1 slot we are going to solder in the DC jack.

Now Grab the 3 470 ohm resistors and solder them into slots R2 R3 and R4. To put them

in the slots I bent their leads. Once they were soldered in I also cut excess of the

leads on the other side of the PCB. Next take the 3 TIP 122 transistors and solder them

into slots Q2 Q3 and Q4. When you put them in the slots, the side of the transistor with

writing should be facing the markings B C E on the PCB. Now take the 4 pin 90 degree

male header and solder it into slot J3. Once that is soldered in flip the pcb over and

solder the Esp8266 into slot U1. I recommend putting flux on every single pad of the esp8266

and of the circuit board and then solder it in. The last component we have to solder in

is the buck converter. Grab the buck converter and place it on the 4 1 pin male headers.

Make sure the out side of the buck converter is next to the MK-SmartHouse logo. Once it

is nicely seated solder the 4 corners of the buck converter to the pins. Great everything

is all soldered to the board!

Next grab the power adapter and plug it into power as well as into the PCB. Then take the

multimeter and put the black probe into the hole of the buck converter and then take the

red probe and hold it over the out + terminal of the buck converter. Using a small flat

screw driver on the gold screw, adjust the voltage of the buck converter to 3.3 volts.

Once it is adjusted unplug the power adapter from the PCB and then take the 2 pin jumpers

and put one over the power header and the other over the PGM side of the 3 pin header.

Everything to do with the PCB is now complete, so let's move on to modifying the case to

make the PCB fit. Before we modify it fold down the TIP122 transistors on the PCB, this

is so they can fit. Then take the side of the pcb with the 90 degree header and put

it into the case. Using a sharpie mark the top of the header on the case. Then use a

dremel to cut a rectangular hole. After the hole is cut use a small file to clean up the

edges. Take the PCB and make sure the hole lines up. You may have noticed that the PCb

still does not fit in the enclosure in terms of height. So grab a 6.5 mm drill bit and

put it into a drill. I used a drill press but you can use a normal hand drill and drill

down the four standoffs inside the enclosure. If you put the PCB in the case and close the

lid everything should fit nicely.

Now let's move onto the LED strip, the only thing we have to do is take the 4 pin female

header with long pins and stick it into the female end of the LED strip. Next remove the

lid of the case and connect the LED Strip, the white wire of the LED strip should lign

up with the W mark on the PCB. That is it for the hardware of the actual

device now all it needs is some software which will be in the next video. If you need any

of the parts shown in the video you can buy a kit, or the PCB to make the device at the

link in the video description. Alright thank you for watching and If you have any questions

leave them in the comments section below or head over to mksmarthouse.com/forum. Good

Bye!

WHY JAPANESE CAN'T SPEAK ENGLISH: Asking Japanese girls and boys for their opinions - Duration: 10:03.

The thought of being bad at it just sticks.

Remembering all those words is difficult.

It just sounds like gibberish.

And I can't pronounce it.

Many people say that Japanese people can't speak English very well

now is that true or not? Let's go and Ask Japanese!

How is your English? - I suck at it

Why so? - I can't remember words.

I started learning it in middle school.

If you can't remember it ...

even when you get to highschool and university...

the thought of being bad at it sticks.

I hate English.

In my second year of middle school, I hated the English teacher.

He was also the teacher in charge of my school club.

It was really awkward. And that made me dislike English since middle school

and even now I don't like it.

If you have a terrible teacher, those feelings attach to the subject...

Exactly. The negative feeling just got attached to the subject. I hate it.

I hate it too.

I probably the worst out of us three.

I can't remember English vocabulary,

so sentences are totally impossible.

Even if I know the grammar, if you don't know the words it won't help.

We have to put Japanese sentences into English.

But I don't know the words, so I can't write at all.

It's totally impossible.

What's the most difficult think about English?

I think its vocabulary.

There are so many words in the English language, it makes it so difficult.

I don't hate English.

But I am still bad at it.

I don't hate it but I also can't speak it.

Foreigners often ask me to help them for the way...

but I can't speak any English.

I feel troubled.

What's so difficult about English?

The grammar is so different to Japanese.

That makes it hard.

Remembering the words one by one is hard.

I am terrible at English.

I still middle school level.

I so super bad at it - I am so super bad at it.

Two times I heard "Super bad" here.

So what's so hard about English then?

I have no clue what they say.

Grammar and everything, I don't get it.

I don't understand long sentences.

I can't read it.

I don't get the words either.

I can't deal with the English language at all.

It's the subject I am the WORST at.

The worst? Why?

I don't know how to configure it.

I have no clue how to line up the words.

That's where I stumble.

Well, it's a completely different language...

it's hard to remember and hard to study.

I don't like it much.

Are you good at English?

What?

I can't speak it.

Zero! I go abroad a lot but can't speak it.

I trie to just speak in single words.

What's so hard about English?

I think the grammar is hard.

It's hard to work out what to put in a sentence and where.

I don't get it.

Even though we will desperately try to create the right sentence...

to foreigners it will only sound like useless gibberish.

I think that's a problem. We can't express ourselves.

We have English basic lessons and English conversation lessons

The conversation one had a foreign teacher.

The class that told us about grammar, had a Japanese teacher.

Which one did you enjoy more?

The international teacher's class was more fun.

Is it important to enjoy the class?

- I guess so. - He was very friendly in explaining things.

That made me happy.

You mentioned your mean teacher. Was there a good or bad teacher?

I had a good teacher too, he used English songs.

We were singing them in class. Remembered them in class and such.

I learned not only to speak out and pronounce properly from that class...

speaking and repeating...

This made me realize how important practicing this is.

I had a great teacher in Maths.

And that made me like that subject.

I didn't have a bad teacher in my English class...

... but neither one that left a big impression on me.

So I kept disliking English class...

and so I still suck at English today.

Was your teacher speaking English in class?

I guess so. During class he tried to speak in English.

When we didn't understand, he would explain it in Japanese.

Apart from that there was actually another foreign English teacher at school...

he was speaking in English and our teacher in charge was using English too.

Was the teaching style of the Japanese and Western teacher different?

None was worse or better as far as I remember.

But the English teacher could only speak English...

but he explained it so carefully that Japanese people could understand.

The foreign teacher didn't focus on written English...

he rather focused on speaking and communication.

Which one did you prefer?

I am bad at speaking out in class in general so I didn't like it.

But I think speaking is better for learning a language.

I preferred the foreign teacher.

When you compare foreigners and Japanese...

foreign teachers are good at talking and sound enthusiastic.

Talking with them is fun.

So I did actually enjoy speaking to the foreign teacher.

Around Halloween we played a game with sweets in class...

and we handed out sweets too.

Wasn't that big a deal.

But your teacher could speak English. - He could.

Our Japanese teacher was good at English and he often went abroad.

Was there a difference between Japanese and Western teachers?

The foreign teacher tried to make the class fun.

But in university...

having an English teacher means you REALLY have to work on your language.

In that case a Japanese teacher is nicer for learning.

Foreign teachers play games and such...

so learning English was fun.

The Japanese teacher was a bore.

Why do you think so many Japanese have a problem with the English language?

The grammar has like words and verbs and I don't get it at all.

It would have been better, had we learned English properly in primary school.

Did you start English lessons in middle school?

We started at the 6th year of primary school. We should have started 3rd year really.

We keep moving up in school even though we can't speak English

and then we never really learn it.

We never revise properly.

Those were our questions. Thank you!

Why do Japanese people not really speak English or why

are there many Japanese people who don't speak English

As you could see, many were not comfortable with the English language

as much.

Many said its the words or the grammar that's hard.

I can say there is a very

heavy emphasis in Japan on the written word over the spoken word.d

Which means, some of my Japanese friends, their written English is amazing

they know really difficult words that you don't use sometimes.

But they won't speak it.

Because their teachers weren't speaking it much in class..

I have been in Japan as an exchange student...

I must say when I was there, there was a class when the teacher

completely only spoke in Japanese and that was the English class

and that was high school.

So it's a different way of teaching English. Obviously if you come from

an English speaking country you might have the same difficulties learning a new language

or secondary language.

I see that Japanese people have a problem because the ABC is very different

but in Japanese schools they are trying to change that.

Trying to implement new things.

Which means they are trying to introduce the English language earlier

so more in primary school, not from middle school.

Trying to introduce it earlier, make it more fun, have more conversation

maybe bring a foreign teacher in, so they are trying to change that up a bit.

That might be a couple of things, that might be changing over time

who knows, maybe if we ask this question in a couple of years time

more and more people will be able to speak English.

There is actually a video where we had guys who just randomly spoke English to me

and they spoke it perfectly. Always depends on who you meet on the streets

that day.

Speaking English that was the question. How about you?

Do you have difficulties with the English language?

Even maybe if it is your language...

anything you always get wrong? I always get the difference between live and life wrong.

its ... save and safe... the director just dropped the reflection pad....

Do I still look pretty?

Anyways, let us know, do you have any trouble with English or learning another language?

Let us know, looking forward to reading your comments and catch you soon on Ask Japanese.

NEW YEAR AND NEW YEAR TRADITIONS / НОВЫЙ ГОД и НОВОГОДНИЕ ТРАДИЦИИ - Duration: 2:49.

New Year and New Year's traditions.

There are a lot of holidays during the year.

Some of them are national,

some of them are private or religious

but one holiday is celebrated all over the world.

It is New Year.

This holiday can be called international

as each person on our planet enjoys celebrating it.

New Year is a magical time

when all the miracles seem to come true.

People have a great opportunity to look

at their deeds and events during the previous year

in order to decide what to do further.

All of us are full of hope and joy.

We are eager to believe that the New Year

is able to be much better.

We hope that it brings only the good

and this thought makes us happy.

Before New Year people usually

draw the line of theirs aims and plans.

They try to finish all incomplete duties

and solve all the problems

in order to leave all negative things in the past.

People decorate theirs houses

with bright and sparkling New Years tree.

Children write long letter to Santa Claus with all their wishes.

Mothers and wives cook special tasty New Years dinner.

It is the great moment to spend

all the time with people you love.

Each nation has its own rituals

concerning New Year celebration

like for example, Italians who throw away all the unnecessary things.

But in spite of all national differences

each of us hopes for better life and optimistic future.

We are all the same whispering our devout desires

as the clock strikes 12 times.

Courage: Action Under Uncertainty - Duration: 3:10.

Hey, everyone. Today, I want to talk about "Courage". Courage. It's that one vital

ingredient that oftentimes separates that entrepreneur who's going after an

opportunity compared to a much bigger well resourced corporation who is just

steadying and not really grabbing that that opportunity. Or it might separate

that professional athlete who is, you know going for that next level of

performance as opposed to the amateur or the spectator who sort of sitting back

and looking and just observing. Now, "courage" - one of the quotes that really

strikes me the most is one that says "courage is not the absence of fear, but

it's the recognition and acceptance of fear but there's something even more

important than fear that allows us to look beyond that fear and not let us

hold us back" and and I think Franklin Roosevelt, Mark Twain, and Nelson Mandela have

different versions of this. But where it really came home for me was, I once was

at the ledge of Menara Kuala Lumpur at the annual base jumping event and i had

an opportunity to spend that day with Chris McDougall. Chris McDougall is one

of the world champion base jumpers and he was sitting at the edge and looking

down. I have to admit I've done a lot of crazy things but that day, it was really

scary because you could see the traffic on Jalan P.Ramlee and Jalan Raja Chulan

and the pedestrians and the cars, so it's not that far it's about 400 meters. And I

asked Chris "how many times have you done this" and he said "over 20,000 times" and I

asked him "are you still afraid" and he goes "every single time, dude". But the

difference is, he doesn't let that fear paralyze him into inaction. He recognizes

it embraces it, and just jumps anyway, right. And it's that same moment that

allows us for example to take on AirAsia X, to build a low-cost long-haul airline

when everyone in the industry, all the experts say, it is impossible to do

people have done it and they fail. People who give you structural reasons why it

cannot work. Or the big global Giants say "we only do long-haul, we only do low-cost

airlines with small planes flying short distances because

the long-haul model just doesn't work". And yet we did it anyway. We didn't allow

the fact that we did not have benchmarks or case studies or a plan B or a

business continuity plan, or a risk mitigation plan we just did it 100% all

in. And oftentimes that's the ingredient that separates great people who take

that risk from the others who are just stepping back observing and being

paralysed with far too much analysis. So, all the best and make today a courageous day.

The Key Differences Between a Psychopath and a Sociopath - Duration: 7:23.

Differences Between a Psychopath and a Sociopath

Society has successfully conspired with Hollywood to put two seemingly-sexy psychology terms

into our collective consciousness, psychopath and sociopath.

Psychopath and sociopath are pop psychology terms for what psychiatry calls an antisocial

personality disorder.

These two terms are not really well-defined in the psychology research literature, and

so there is some confusion about them.

Nonetheless, there are some general similarities, as well as differences, between these two

personality types.

Both types of personality have a pervasive pattern of disregard for the safety and rights

of others.

Deceit and manipulation are central features to both of these personality types.

Contrary to popular belief, a psychopath or sociopath is not necessarily violent.

The common features of a psychopath and sociopath lie in their shared diagnosis of antisocial

personality disorder.

The DSM-51 defines antisocial personality as someone having 3 or more of the following

traits:

, Regularly breaks or flouts the law , Constantly lies and deceives others

, Is impulsive and doesn't plan ahead , Can be prone to fighting and aggressiveness

, Has little regard for the safety of others , Irresponsible, can't meet financial obligations

, Doesn't feel remorse or guilt

In both cases, some signs or symptoms are nearly always present before age 15.

By the time a person is an adult, they are well on their way to becoming a psychopath

or sociopath.

Traits of a Psychopath

Psychology researchers generally believe that psychopaths tend to be born, so it's likely

a genetic predisposition, while sociopaths tend to be made by their environment.

(This is not to say that psychopaths may not also suffer from some sort of childhood trauma.)

The psychopathy might be related to physiological brain differences.

Research has shown psychopaths have underdeveloped components of the brain area commonly thought

to be responsible for emotion regulation and impulse control.

Are you a psychopath?

Psychopaths, in general, have a hard time forming real emotional attachments with others.

Instead, they form artificial or shallow relationships designed to be manipulated in a way that most

benefits the psychopath.

People are seen as pawns to be used to forward the psychopath's goals.

Psychopaths rarely feel guilt regarding any of their behaviors, no matter how much they

hurt others.

Psychopaths can often be seen by others as being charming and trustworthy.

They often hold steady, normal jobs.

Some even have families and seemingly-loving relationships with a partner.

While they tend to be well-educated, they may also have learned a great deal on their

own.

When a psychopath engages in criminal behavior, they tend to do so in a way that minimizes

risk to themselves.

They will carefully plan criminal activity to ensure they don't get caught, having

contingency plans in place for every possibility.

Traits of a Sociopath

Researchers tend to believe that sociopathy is the result of environmental factors, such

as a child or teen's upbringing in a very negative household that resulted in physical

abuse, emotional abuse, or childhood trauma.

Sociopaths, in general, tend to be more impulsive and erratic in their behavior than their psychopath

counterparts.

While also having difficulties in forming attachments to others, some sociopaths may

be able to form an attachment to a like-minded group or person.

Unlike psychopaths, most sociopaths don't hold down long-term jobs or present much of

a normal family life to the outside world.

When a sociopath engages in criminal behavior, they may do so in an impulsive and largely

unplanned manner, with little regard for the risks or consequences of their actions.

They may become agitated and angered easily, sometimes resulting in violent outbursts.

These kinds of behaviors increase a sociopath's chances of being apprehended.

Who is More Dangerous?

Both psychopaths and sociopaths present risks to society, because they will often try and

live a normal life while coping with their disorder.

But psychopathy is likely the more dangerous disorder, because they experience a lot less

guilt connected to their actions.

A psychopath also has a greater ability to dissociate from their actions.

Without emotional involvement, any pain that others suffer is meaningless to a psychopath.

Many famous serial killers have been psychopaths.

Not all people we'd call a psychopath or sociopath are violent.

Violence is not a necessary ingredient, nor is it for a diagnosis of antisocial personality

disorder, but it is often present.

Clues in Childhood that Might Indicate a Psychopath or Sociopath

Clues to psychopathy and sociopathy are usually evident in childhood.

Most people who can later be diagnosed with sociopathy or psychopathy had a pattern of

behavior where they violate the basic rights or safety of others.

They often break the rules (or even laws) and societal norms as a child, too.

Psychologists call these kinds of childhood behaviors a conduct disorder.

Conduct disorders involve four categories of problem behavior:

, Aggression to people and animals , Destruction of property

, Deceitfulness or theft , Serious violations of rules or laws

If you recognize these symptoms (and the specific symptoms of conduct disorder) in a child or

young teen, they're at greater risk for antisocial personality disorder.

Summary

Psychopathy and sociopathy are different cultural labels applied to the diagnosis of antisocial

personality disorder.

Up to 3 percent of the population may qualify for a diagnosis of antisocial personality

disorder.

This disorder is more common among males and mostly seen in people with an alcohol or substance

abuse problem, or in forensic settings such as prisons.

Psychopaths tend to be more manipulative, can be seen by others as more charming, lead

a semblance of a normal life, and minimize risk in criminal activities.

Sociopaths tend to be more erratic, rage-prone, and unable to lead as much of a normal life.

When sociopaths engage in criminal activity, they tend to do so in a reckless manner without

regard to consequences.

Well, that's the main differences between a psychopath and sociopath.
