Waching daily Dec 28 2017

let's begin with some numbers, it's been 2 months since our idol did start with this adventure on YT

so, Seba is going to talk about his experience today.

it's cold, but such a beautiful place!

hello duck!

-if you fall it's the top!

I don't!

holidays in Trentino!

Hello guys and welcome to a new video of Sebastiano Serafini in Japan

as you can see I'm at this zen lake

let's pretend that I'm in Japan...

I'm here in Italy for the christmas holidays

it's cold, as you can see by my clothes

and you can see it also from the hand movements that my cameraman is doing

but everything is fine!

You know, there are mornings where you just wake up and think about ...

like you are in a new location, you are not so well dressed, but you say, whatever let's do the video

you have a reflex that has a better quality than usual

and people say do a video and so, I'm here doing this video

so, I thought...what am I going to talk about in this video?

let's talk about my 2 months on Youtube!

because it's 2 months that I load a new video every day

and not only 1 but like 4? I have this channel where I load every day a video at 2pm (GMT+1)

comment every day at 2 so I can answer to you on my other channel^^

- the Katsu channel where I upload like maybe 3 videos a day?

one video like at 8am, one at 8pm and other random videos during the day

well, it was a "strange" experience

that started as a joke and also because of Surrealpower and St3pny

but, I must say that I enjoy it more and more

and also this experience doesn't take away my work as music composer

in the sense that I can do everything in like 2 days a week

and it's also very rewarding, both economically and work-wise

so, this story of Youtube I see it more as fun

it's ilke playing the playstation, but the internet version

I feel also compelled in doing it

because I feel bad when a not so good image of Japan is shown

only because there are people that aren't able to explain everything good, like they don't know so much about the topic

and sometimes they even can't understand some japanese behavior

so, I'm happy to be able to share these useful things

I must also say that this experience is not so easy

because to upload videos on YT requires time

also to put on the tags, the font for the title, the cover...

it's not so easy

and you need also to share it on every social, otherwise nobody sees it

and also it was easier some years ago to put on videos on YT

I wanted to thank to the person that edits all my videos,

to the person that puts on subtitles,

it's a really big help for the not - italian people that don't understand

to be able to watch them,

and then I wanted to thank Lilletta for the beautiful intro

to the people that stand behind the camera

and especially to all the people that watch my videos!

without you I wouldn't be able to do them

I wanted to say Thank You

and also if we're not doing such big numbers,

but we are increasing!

however, I'm happy if I am able to put a smile on your face with these videos

So, I really hope you continue watching them

and I hope I can continue doing them

and if you have some questions or things you want to see, keep asking me

I will try to come against you.

I remind you that I put a video every day at 2pm

it's a constant appointment, where we can interact every day

and that's it...I thank you all

and greetings from Trento! don't forget to subscribe!

8 Reasons the Power of Subconscious Mind Will Change Your Life - Duration: 6:50.

8 Reasons the Power of the Subconscious Mind Will Change Your Life

You cannot possibly understand the true strength that resides within you until you utilize

the power of subconscious mind.

With this power, you can do anything!

The conscious mind decides and plans according to the information it receives from two areas

nicknamed the "chatterbox" and the "higher self".

With this upload, the conscious mind tells the subconscious mind to catalog the information

and put that it to action.

The subconscious mind doesn't make judgments or ask any questions, it just uses its energies

to guide us to where we need to go and what we need to do according to what we have done

in the past.

It can also serve as a sort of "auto-pilot" when something is wrong with the conscious

mind or when the conscious mind has become preoccupied.

The subconscious mind remembers the important duties forgotten by the conscious mind and

sometimes can act in a sort of mindless determination.

This is more powerful than you think!

In this video, I'm going to share with you 8 signs the power of subconscious mind is

changing your life.

If you find this information is helpful to you, make sure to like this video and subscribe

to this channel so you won't miss any of our interesting updates in the future!

1.

Fewer feelings of fear

When the power of our subconscious mind grows stronger, we will lose the edge that often

came with fear.

We will still be able to have a healthy dose of discernment in our conscious thoughts,

but we will lose the paralyzing sensation of despair that once came with worry and anxiety,

which are symptoms of a weaker subconscious.

The lack of these heightened fear sensations comes from choices and being able to complete

tasks during the most difficult of times.

It is one of the most recognizable traits of a strong mindset.

2.

Peace

As with the lessening of fear, a peaceful mind will be another way to understand this

rising power.

When the subconscious is working to its fullest abilities, everything around us will seem

peaceful.

Yes, there will always be difficult situations and issues, but the world will seem more as

one when your thoughts have shifted in a positive direction.

The power of the subconscious mind will be evident in the embodiment and the perception

of peace.

3.

Optimal health and well-being

One outstanding thing you will notice in those who seem to harness the power of subconscious

mind is their health.

When the subconscious mind is working with information derived from the higher self,

you will appear much younger than they really are and energy levels will be increased as

opposed to the energy level of those who dwell in a negative state of mind.

This is true because the mind governs the body, and all things physical will reflect

what dwells within our mental workings.

Illnesses and disease will also be rare in those who operate at this heightened mindset.

4.

Spirituality

When the higher mind is driving the subconscious, many people experience a spiritual awakening.

Some of these people will dive into prayer life or meditation which helps them make a

stronger connection.

There will be a deeper meaning surrounding the decisions they make and which voice they

want to listen to (positive or negative).

A more pronounced spirituality will mean a mindset that chooses to remain calm, focused

and driven toward positive aspects of life.

It also means having the determination to overcome with the help of a higher power.

This higher power is both similar and influential to the subconscious mind.

5.

Healthy sleep patterns

When you are driven by your higher intellect and connected firmly with your subconscious,

then you will be more immune to insomnia.

A calm mind will make it easier to sleep at night, void of all the information pouring

in from the chatterbox.

If you are sleeping, then your subconscious mind is absorbing information from the higher

thinking which was chosen by your conscious mind.

At some point, you have trained your conscious mind to listen to peace instead of worry and

the results help you sleep better at night.

6.

Confidence

Our wavering self-esteem is a product of fear and fear is derived from the constant information

coming from the chattering center of our brains.

Now, with all that being said, our confidence is greatly improved when our subconscious

takes more of its information from the higher thinking.

In this region of thinking, we are sure of who we are and capable of making the right

decisions at the right time.

There is a powerhouse within us when we acquire the attribute of self-love.

7.

Success

Now, after our mind has become aligned with the positive things, our abilities to succeed

are following close behind.

This success will then bring even more success and financial freedom.

Of course, we can also be a beacon of light and an example to others.

When you see these things happening in you or someone you know, then your subconscious

is gradually taking larger roles in your day to day life.

8.

Faith and trust

Those who are experiencing a powerful subconscious movement will display an unwavering faith.

They will find it easier to trust others and believe wholeheartedly in what they want out

of life.

To have faith is probably one of the most difficult things to do, but when living by

the power of the subconscious mind, it can seem like second nature.

If you see a faithful, loving and trusting person, you see someone who walks in the assurance

that things will go just as they have planned.

So, never forget the subconscious mind, while the conscious mind gives out orders to the

subconscious, this doesn't mean that it is less powerful, on the contrary.

The subconscious mind does act out orders and performs jobs derived from the conscious

mind, and even carries out some petty operations, spilling out of the chatterbox area of thinking.

But it's the substance of the higher thinking areas of the brain that really drive the subconscious

to display its real power, and boy does it leave a mark on life.

Recognizing your power can help you train and coerce the conscious mind to listen to

more positive information instead of the clamor of everyday life.

After all, it's wisdom, utilized by the power of subconscious mind that will change

the world.

So, really cool information isn't it.

Channel Update: My Own YouTube Rewind & Thanks [December 2017] - Duration: 8:08.

Hello there guys and girls,

welcome to another monthly channel update of mine. Obviously it's gonna be the last

one for this year. This is why I would like to use the next couple of minutes to look

back at 2017 and to say my thanks to a bunch of people. First of all, I wanna thank all

my subscribers, no matter if you're new to the family or one of the veterans: Thank

you for your trust in this channel. I wanna make a shout out with the warmest thanks to

"GameIn_Deeper" for going as far as donating a dollar a month to support my creative work.

It really helps!

If you can't afford to donate, just share my stuff on Twitter or Reddit or whatever

trendy platforms you kids use today. Make a GIF of memorable scenes you enjoyed and

upload it. I just don't have the time to do all that promotional stuff. I wanna spend

all my dedication and energy on the actual videos.

Also I would like to thank a bunch of subscribers who supported me by simply commenting on my

videos. This goes out to people like Refined Turbo, Captain Madman, ShredderGGG, KeymonZz,

erjun – greetings to Turkey by the way – mattiejas, White Spectre, ZumieFiasco who also made this

amazing car mod for Good Driving Bad Driving episode 13, Bladent GTA, Can The King, The

Glass Citizen, OrBass, J & J gaming, Zose and The Nerfed Gamer. Your positive words

but also the constructive criticism helped me massively in keeping this channel going

and improving it over the course of the past year.

Speaking of improvement: I really need to thank my fellow creator AX System for inviting

me to the Scene Director discord a few months back. I've met so many amazing machinima

makers and modders over there. This community of hyper experienced GTA creators has helped

me on so many occasions I lost count. Without guys like Duggy, Zadrium, Paradoxar, Lolww,

jackob, Jupit, Roscoe Hussein, momobimo, Sir Wumpy Flump, Petrifying Pumpkins Nergal and

of course elsewhat, the creator of Scene Director many of my latest videos wouldn't have been

possible. I've linked all of their channels in the description but you will also find

most of them in my list of featured channels.

Another special thanks goes out to MuzTube who is also very active on that discord server.

He's a true underground hero since he creates exclusive custom mods and thumbnails for many

of the creators in our community. But please, don't bother him with pointless requests

now. That's my job already. He seems to know everything about GTA V and always has

the key info that lets you progress to the next level. Thanks for that!

Last but not least I wanna thank all the modders out there who create these cool player models,

convert cars or write fun scripts. Without you guys none of these videos would have been

possible. Keep up the good work! I think those were all the people I wanted to shout out

in this video. If I forgot anyone please let me know. Let's now have a look back at 2017,

shall we?

On January 1st I had around 3,650 subscribers. Now I'm at around 4,500. That's a gain

of roughly 850 subscribers and a growth of 19 percent. While this might not be much on

the bigger scale of things, it does mean a lot to me, because the content I create is

rather a niche thing. I think I'd grow a lot faster if I made these big stunt compilations

or fake giveaways like Sernandoe and all those other Immanuel Kants.

Since we're already crunching the numbers here: this year I uploaded a total of 66 public

videos. In comparison: From 2011 to 2016 I uploaded a total of 86 public videos. So this

means I produced almost as much content in one year as I did in the past five and a half

years before. If you take the patreon exclusives like outtakes, behind the scenes and unused

clips compilations into the equation, I have even produced a total of 118 videos this year,

which is a lot more than what I made in the years before. Oftentimes I was working on

five to ten videos in parallel splitting the tasks up into experimentation, scripting,

mod research, music research, recording, camera work, editing, visual effects, photoshopping,

rendering, uploading and writing video descriptions.

Now out of all these videos, which one might be my favorite? Actually, I'm happy with

almost all of my videos because otherwise I wouldn't have uploaded them. Some videos

I even re-rendered and uploaded three times because I had these minor changes that I wanted

to fix at all cost. Still, my very favorites are always gonna be the GTA machinima. A real

turning point for me was my 100th video because this was the time where I discovered the possibilities

of Menyoo and the Smooth Blend of the Rockstar Editor. Ever since I realized this potential

I got so many ideas for videos I can never ever produce all of them because I just lack

the time.

Out of all the GTA V machinima I made I really like "Trevor's Special Treatment" because

it's the ultimate fart joke. But also the montage where I made Trevor play "Seven

Nation Army" with GTA sound effects was a lot of fun to make. Last but not least I'd

like to mention "A Rich Man's Pleasure" because I can't believe I was actually able

to make this wild idea of a cannon for human skeet shooting come true within the game's

engine.

Then of course I am happy about my tutorials because they usually perform quite well, meaning

that they actually get a few more views than my machinima. But that's okay for me because

if I can help or inspire anyone out there, that's another mission accomplished.

The only videos I'd say I dislike are the Zombie Hitler thing because this was just

rushed and had no real concept to it. Another candidate is the Tired Tire video from last

year because I made this before there were any helpful mods available for the PC version

known to me and overall it was just boring and bland. At that time I was trying to find

my way back into making videos because I basically was on a one year hiatus with the channel

because nobody gave a fork about GTA IV anymore and GTA V wasn't out for PC then. From the

very old videos it would have to be the Copkiller Trailer which I'm pretty ashamed of. But

for reasons of hilarity I decided not to delete it.

On the battlefield side of things my favorite is definitely "Time" because it's a

cinematic video with a poem that I wrote from the bottom of my heart and in which I tried

to capture the emotions of the tragedy that World War I was. The BF1 montages are fun,

too, because they are a lot easier to edit and allow me to clear my mind from the machinima

from time to time. And I think barely anyone uploaded gameplay without HUD as consistently

as I did. Same thing here: I could very well upload two BF1 montages every damn week but

that would be too easy and there's enough channels for that out there. I like to go

the extra mile and make an effort to create truly original content, which unfortunately

doesn't seem to be worth much these days. Also, I don't stretch out all of my videos

to be ten minutes and 1 second long just so there will be another ad somewhere in the

middle.

Now, tell me, what are your favorite videos of 2017 from my channel? I'd really like

to know what you guys and girls prefer seeing and what you would love me to do more of.

If you are willing and able to support me on Patreon, I'm thankful for the smallest

of donations. It will be worth it, as I said there's a ton of bonus content on there.

With the last video of 2017 I will give you a taste of this bonus content because this

sunday there will be an outtake compilation with a couple of select clips for you to enjoy.

Now...what else? I hope you all had a successful year. I hope you overcame any obstacle life

put in your way. And I hope you will achieve your dreams. May you have a transition into

the new year that is as smooth as a baby's butt. Wait? Should I really include that in

the script? I don't think that's advertiser friendly.

Well, whatever. Thank you for watching and stay tuned for 2018, whanowa over!

They also tend to be decisive and strong-willed personality, and for good sake, they rarely

use that energy for their personal gain.

Their value of creativity, imagination, conviction and sensitivity is a great deal to them in

order to create balance.

They are the creature of love, most of them believe that nothing would create balance

to the world so much as using love and compassion to soften the hearts of people.

Enough taling about INFJs, they also have a certain degree that most people wouldn't

understand.

#1 - Afraid of exhaustion

Just like other introverts, INFJ is actually afraid of people.

However, they are INFJ personality type yearns togetherness by hanging out with a group of

people.

Ironically, at the same time, the INFJ does not want to deplete their energy in the process.

#2 - INFJ is better writer

It is due to the nature of writing which does not happen spontaneously, and it is why INFJ

usually loves writing.

However, at some point, people with INFJ can speak in front of public well.

It is due to the fact that the person has written the words earlier.

If INFJ can speak in more impromptu setup, there is a huge chance that the person is

smart because she, or he writes what he wants to say in his or her mind first.

#3 - INFJ is empathic and unemphatic

INFJ wants others to develop and reach their true potential.

However, sometimes INFJ can be super unemphatic because of afraid of being hurt.

#4 - INFJ is calm yet sensitive

INFJ basically feels emotion deeper, but it is not expressed through facial expression

and words.

Additionally, INFJ can detach from someone's emotion if they are willing to do so.

#5 - INFJ usually defies logic

This type of personality is neither dumb nor smart.

It is somewhat in the middle.

Intuition plays more role though instead of logic.

#6 - Daydreaming most of the time

INFJ loves a stable and ideal system, particularly for the government system.

Unfortunately, they only dream it big since actions still cannot satisfy them.

#7 - Playful in intense look

INFJ is serious at work.

However, creativity and analytical skill they obtain are based on friendly chats with co-workers.

#8 - Illogical sometimes

It is quite funny that INFJ does not like logical actions for ideal world.

However, it is because of different perspective that makes everything more problematic.

#9 - They have answers before conclusion

Intuition of INFJ is great, and it is due to the scattered mind.

Pieces of puzzles can be used for reaching conclusion before this very step.

2017 Music Videos | HAPPY NEW YEAR! - Duration: 1:09:58.

Hail, my friends!

Dan Vasc here.

Hope you're doing well.

2017 was a very singular year for me in good and bad ways.

But it was a very special year for this channel, because it was the year that I decided to

upgrade it from hobby to potential job.

Things started to look more professional, more in place and I'm pretty happy with that.

So I decided to make this compilation of all my music videos from this year.

Just the songs.

I took out the intros and outros so it's more convenient for you to just leave it on the

background while you're cleaning, exercising, etc.

Maybe I'll put an ad or two to support me, but that's it.

I hope you enjoy. Thank you for a great year and have yourself an epic 2018.

The Jinn Part 1 English Subtitles | Ustaz Auni Mohamad - Duration: 17:06.

Praise be to Allah,

Gratefulness to Allah,

Glory to Him,

because with the provision of blessings, love, affection and kindness from Allah, Glory to Him

that once again all of us get to congregate by Allah, Glory to Him.

For nothing else other than solely to seek

part of the knowledge that is given

by Allah,

part of the knowledge that is bestowed by Allah, Glory to Him

And, God willing, tonight

we will continue once again

a little bit of some of the cases

that is involving, and related to

that which is known as or said to be

Realm of the Jinns.

And as a prologue tonight,

Certainly wherever it is, surely

it cannot be avoided,

that apart from the congregation

that is present, that we can physically see,

in all probability in our congregation now

there are also other beings, spiritual beings,

ghaib (unseen) beings,

that are possibly participating along with us.

So no need to worry, no need to fear,

because only they can see us but we cannot see them,

That's all, so don't dwell too much on it

Because sometimes,

these beings have evil intentions,

they are malicious, sometimes

they would follow us home.

If there are gatherings like this,

i.e. gatherings that reveal

their secrets.

There was a day, I had..

not "paid" per se, but called two of my students

to "vacuum" (cleanse) my house, truly I had no energy anymore to do so.

So they came and cleansed,

they came and "vacuumed", banished the beings far away, imprisoned in

Guatanamo Bay or wherever else. Alright.

So, tonight, God willing

we will face once again

with the Jinn issue.

And the analogy I mention is

that they are beings quite similar to us,

i.e. beings that created by Allah, Glory to Him.

Just that, the difference is that

we, Allah created from earth (clay) element,

spiritual element.

The earth element is our physicality, the spiritual element is our soul.

But Allah created the Jinn species without

a outer form,

without physicality but they are entirely spirit.

That is why in any case

or in most cases,

only the Jinns are able to possess mankind.

Because they can occupy our bodies

they can occupy our physicalities.

No matter how angry we would be at the Jinns, no matter how vengeful we'd get towards them,

we could never say "It's always you who does the possessing

tonight I want to possess you instead." Can we? No.

We can only afford to rely on (Allah) and ask for protection

from Allah, Glory to Him.

Protect ourselves, defend ourselves, guard ourselves

with the Ruqyah verses.

Which were sourced from the Quranic verses

and from the hadiths (traditions) of the Prophet Muhammad,

peace be unto him.

As Allah had decreed in Surah (Chapter)

Al-Jinn (The Jinns) itself, see Surah Al-Jinn,

verse 6 (Qur'an Chapter 72, Verse 6)

where Allah, Glory to Him had decreed:

[prayer before reciting from the Quran] (I seek refuge with Allah from the accursed Satan)

"And there were individuals from mankind

who sought refuge in individuals among the jinn,

but they [only] increased them in burden."

"Allah Almighty has spoken the truth."

"And there were individuals from mankind.."

Thus

indeed, so unfortunate

that some of mankind...

but Allah used the word 'rijal'

When Allah used the word 'rijal'

rijal in arabic means 'men'.

but when 'men' is used in Arabic it encompasses both genders

don't matter if it's men or women.

Thus, the meaning of this verse is

"It is indeed unfortunate

for a group of people, amongst men

and possibly amongst women

"who sought refuge in individuals among the jinn,"

They sought help,

they sought assistance,

from the leaders, from the kings,

from the governors, from the rulers, amongst the jinn.

So do not ever make the same mistake.

When we have a problem that's a test from Allah

When we have a crisis that's a test from Allah

When we have a trial that's a test from Allah

And we feel suffocated

We feel like there is no one to confide in

We feel like there is no one to talk about our problems

Never should we seek a solution from the jinn

We already have Allah, our Creator. We already have Allah, our God.

Who takes care of us, Who rules over us, ask Him for assistance ask Him for help. Pray to Him and beg Him.

For the One who creates the problems is Allah

and the One who has the solutions to the problems is Allah.

The jinns from whom we would seek help, have their own issues

They have their own problems to deal with and here we are seeking their help

We seek solutions from them.

Thus when such individuals, either men or women,

who use this erroneous path,

"so they [only] increased them in burden."

What will happen is

the jinn will be more arrogant,

the jinn will be more malevolent.

It would not bring any good

it would not bring any happiness for us.

Hence this is Allah's message to us in Verse 6

Do not ever seek help from another creation of God.

Jinns are creations of Allah.

They themselves seek help from Allah if they have any problem

how could we then seek help from the jinns?

But such is the behavior of some people

When they, their emotions, their desires

are already controlled by the jinns,

are already controlled by Iblis,

are already controlled by Satan,

they will resort to such practices.

i.e. a shortcut to solve

any problem in life.

Now... God willing, tonight

to some extent, we will look into

the types of Jinns.

Jinns share the same characteristics as mankind.

Some are arrogant.

Some want prestige.

Some want status.

Some want position.

Similar behaviors as people.

So when the jinns want the previously-mentioned materialism,

they give a certain name to their creed.

They give a certain name to their group.

They give certain names to their creed.. for example:

Of some of these jinns, or some of the unseen creatures,

there is a group with the characteristic of inhabiting the cemetery.

Either a new cemetery... by which I mean

a cemetery which is still in use.

If there is a passing, there (the new cemetery) would be the burial.

If there is a passing, there would be the burial.

As long the cemetery is being used, it is considered new.

No matter which race or religion, there would be this group of Jinns inhabiting the area.

They are present in muslim cemeteries.

In jewish cemeteries.

In chinese (taoist) cemetery.

In buddhist cemetery.

They would inhabit any cemetery of any race or religion.

More so, if that particular cemetery is no longer in use.

In other words, an old cemetery.

No more burial plots left to be used.

Thus it has ceased to be used.

So we move on to what is considered 'new' cemetery.

This group of jinns will reside in either the new or (especially) the old cemetery.

P. Ramlee (a malaysian film legend) had shown us an example in the comedy film

"Pendekar Bujang Lapok"

When he was supposed to chant the mantra and invoke

His character was assigned to where? To the cemetery.

When he was just about the start, one of the jinns appeared.

The one with the trumpet, the 606 gang. [link to the clip in the description below]

They assign their own gang identity, Gang 606. Gang 607.

Gang 14... up to them.

And so, there is such a gang/group of jinns that inhabit such a location.

For what purpose... to strike fear and scare people.

Because in the hadith (traditions) of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him),

he had mentioned numerous time the importance of visiting the graves of loved ones.

Visiting the graves of loved ones is one of the important practices of our religion.

Why is it important to visit the graves?

To attend a funeral...

To attend a burial ceremony...

Because it would encourage us to repent.

Because one day we would be in the same place.

We won't be living for a very long time. We won't live forever. One day we will die.

One day, Allah will call upon us

and in the similar place people will bury us, the grave... the cemetery.

Hence one of the Ways of the Prophet (sunnah) is to visit the grave, to motivate us to repent.

To remind mankind to remember Allah.

But these jinns, devils and Satan...

whenever mankind seek to find Allah, as this is one of the paths to Allah,

they will preemptively restrict and create a 'roadblock'...

so the extent that this cemetery which would have been a place to remind us to repent...

instead becomes a scary place.

Today, if we were told to go to the cemetery in the day, many would be brave enough to do so.

But if we were told to go at night...

not certain if it's doable.

If one is instructed to go in with an M16 and a pistol.. he would be like "eh..

if it's a person, no problem. Not possible to shoot a ghost"

Thus even when armed, it is not certain that one would be in the grave at night.

These jinns have been in our mythos

for a very long time.

The second group of jinns

are the ones that inhabit the caves.

In and around the mountains, the hills

there are cavities

that we refer to as caves or caverns.

There is this group of jinns that prefer to reside in caves or caverns.

Let us call this group the Cave Jinns, for example.

Like another P. Ramlee film, we use as an example

The part where the daughter of Haji Bakhil

she was the victim of black magic by Haji Labu

Thus the protaganist went into a cave seeking what?

A stone amulet from a shaman,

who lived in the cave.

Sometimes, there are jinns in caves.

There is another (P. Ramlee) film

"Nujum Pak Belalang".

When the thieves wanted to hide the treasure they had stolen from the palace

P. Ramlee the protagonist

impersonated a Spirit of the cave. [link to video clip in description]

Thus they were like "forgive us,

forgive us, Spirit of the cave."

Thus from such films, P. Ramlee is showing us the traditional beliefs

that such places, when it's dark

weird things would occur and sounds would be heard, and thus such places

being occupied, not by creation of God such as us, but

'Spirit of the cave' from amongst the jinns, devils and Satan.

The third group

are the group of such creatures

that accompany a certain type of the deceased.

The type of deceased meant here are not the ones already buried.

That's the cemetery gang.

What is meant here are the recently deceased.

Passed on recently.

That's why when there is death

among our siblings

death among our relatives

death among our family

As in if they died in not a pleasant place

not an ideal location.

Not passing on in the house,

Maybe died in the jungle.

Died in the fields.

Died in the oceans.

Before we seek help from others,

if we need to leave the body, if possible

cover the body.

Don't leave it uncovered and exposed.

Because if we were to leave the dead body for a significant period of time,

definitely there would be a member of this group of jinn that would be near the dead body.

Doesn't matter if it would just be near the body...

or it would occupy and possess it.

Next, there is the type of jinns

that characteristically inhabit

places that are bodies or sources of water. This type is the most in number.

Meaning, some inhabit the bays.

Some inhabit the pools or puddles.

Some inhabit the lakes.

Some inhabit the rivers.

Sometimes, even bigger body of water could be inhabited.

Such as the oceans.

And some scholars

have debated on the issues of landbased jinns and marinebased jinns.

they opined that the marinebased jinns are far greater.

They are more savage.

They are fiercer and more "gangster"

than their landbased counterparts.

We would likely face landbased jinns or marinebased ones?

Just the landbased ones, and that too we could barely afford to fight.

Much less if we were to face the marinebased ones.

With the status of kings of the seas.

Thus the same for the other groups.

The group that inhabits the mountains.

The group that inhabits the hills.

The group that inhabits the trees.

The group that inhabits the cavities of the earth.

The group that inhabits the wind.

The group that inhabits the clouds.

in other words, even among themselves

they prefer to set themselves apart from the other groups.

Like us, we would distinguish among ourselves by our towns.

I'm from Bayan Lepas, you're from Bayan Baru

Similarly, the jinns too would want

to be categorized according to the places they inhabit and

appraised specifically

on how they rule over certain area

or territories, in their colony.

That is from the perspective of the various groups of jinns.

So now that we understand these facts,

this shows that the number of jinns is far greater than the number of us humans.

They are indeed greater in number.

That is why there was a scholar who once said

"If it is destined that you can see the jinns as I can,

if i were to take a needle and throw it in the air...

For those who cannot see the jinns,

they would see the needle fall to the ground.

but what I see...

that you should inform is that

just how huge the number of jinns is

that if I were to throw a needle in the air,

it would fall on their backs."

It means, to get the needle fall to the ground without touching any jinn,

is too hard, too difficult due to their huge number.

Throwing something so narrow and fine

as a needle, and hard for it to fall to the ground

we can imagine the sheer number of the jinns

Far in comparison to the number of humans.

Korean stocks end 2017 up 22%; analyts see another good year - Duration: 2:02.

Turning to some stock market action now.

A year of record-breaking gains comes to a close with the Korea Exchange designating

Friday as a holiday.

The KOSPI rose again on the last trading day of the year.

Kim Mok yeon explains why the trend is fuelling hopes of 2018 bringing more uplifting digits.

Its been a prosperous year for the local stock market, as the Korea Composite Stock Price

Index, after six-years of trading within a narrow range, broke out to surpass the 2,500

mark for the first time in its history.

[STANDUP ed: steve] "For the last trading day of 2017, Korea's

main stock exchange closed at 2,467 up some 22% from the final close of the previous year,

which was just below 2,030."

Experts say the main driving forces were the IT and the health care and finance sectors.

Tech shares started the day brightly on Thursday, with Samsung Electronics moving up 3.24 percent

and number two chipmaker SK Hynix gaining 1.86 percent from the previous session's close.

Pharmaceutical shares also traded higher, with Samsung Biologics up 1.37 percent.

The rising trend is likely to stay for a while, as experts say the KOSPI 3,000 era could be

approaching.

(ENGLISH) "Over the next two years, we think that the

KOSPI will break through 3000 plus, if it goes higher maybe it may even reach 3,300.

The reason is because of the very strong earnings that's coming through right now you can look

at two digit earnings growth again in 2018 and even we think that in 2019 the earnings

growth will continue."

Korea's junior stock index, the KOSDAQ, also had a remarkable year.

The KOSDAQ closed at 798 on Thursday, continuing its upward streak for 4 consecutive days.

The index surpassed the 800 mark for the first time in ten years during trading this month,

after the government laid out measures to support small and mid-sized companies.

The local stock markets will re-open on January second at 10 a.m., one hour later than usual.

The 9 Best Books I Read in 2017 - Duration: 8:18.

Okay, I'm gonna do the entire video

balancing these on one finger.

Nevermind.

Hey, what is going on guys?

So today I thought I would do

another book recommendation video,

but I do want to tell you up front,

that this is a little bit different

than my previous book recommendation video,

which was all about books I think

that every student should read.

By contrast, this is a list of the best books

that I personally read this year,

so while every book on this list is educational

and I found to be very useful,

I'm not necessarily going to say that you

have to read this book if you're a student,

but I do think that you'll find a lot of the books,

on this list interesting no matter who you are.

Case in point, the first book on my list

is The Code Book by Simon Singh.

Now, this is a book that teaches you all about the history

and the ins and outs of cryptography,

the science of encoding and decoding messages.

The book basically gives you

a comprehensive overview of this topic

and it starts all the way back in Roman times

and goes over Caesar ciphers

and monoalphabetic substitution ciphers,

moves onto polyalphabetic substitution ciphers

and then goes into the modern day

and covers things like Diffie-Hellman key exchange

and public private key cryptography

and even quantum cryptography.

Now, the book is lacking a little bit in practical details

about how to secure your online life,

though we did do a podcast episode all about that

that you can check out in the description down below,

but it is an absolutely fascinating read

and I could not put it down once I started reading it.

Second on my list is Essentialism:

The Disciplined Pursuit of Less by Greg McKeown

and we did have to look up how to pronounce that

on Forvo before making this video,

so I'm pretty sure I have that right,

but if you're Irish, then you can correct me.

It is an Irish name, right?

- [Man] No idea.

- Boy, now I have to look that up.

- [Man] Also, one of them said McKeown.

- This book talks all about how to prioritize

the most important things that you're doing in your life

and focus on those things, how to work without distraction

and this book was really important for me

because as an entrepreneur and a creative person,

I get a ton of ideas and if I don't keep my mind restrained

a little bit, I'm easily able to just go off

and get distracted on a new idea

before finishing something that I'm already working on,

so reading this book really shifted my mindset

and made me take single-minded focus on an important task

a lot more seriously than I had in the past

and this was one book that we did talk about on the podcast,

so if you want an overview or a summary of it,

I'll have a link in the description down below.

The third book on my list is a big one.

Debt: The First 5,00 Years by David Graeber

was a fascinating read, and admittedly,

I'm actually not done with this book yet,

but I am about halfway through

and it is really really interesting

if you have any sort of inclination

towards reading about economics.

I actually heard about this book

back when I watched the money episode

of the Crash Course World History Series with John Green

and the idea that it explores is really fascinating.

Basically, in classical economics

they teach this idea that before money there was barter.

Basically, before you had coins to trade with,

you took your cow to the market

and you lopped off part of its leg

and you traded that for some rice,

but the thing is while this theory is taught

in most intro to economics textbooks,

anthropologists have found almost no record

of any society that ever used pure barter

before the development of money.

Instead they used informal debt bonds,

which eventually became formalized by the development

of money and IOUs and banking and so forth.

Anyway, again, this is not the kind of book

that's gonna help you balance your own checkbook

or save more money efficiently,

but it is a fascinating introduction

into how economics really works.

Next up on my list is the Elon Musk biography

by Ashlee Vance and you may have seen this one coming

since I did make an Elon Musk video pretty recently.

I've been getting more and more into reading biographies

and in the past couple of years I've read biographies

on Jeff Bezos, on Steve Jobs, and on Elon Musk

and I have to say the one on Elon Musk

inspired me the most and I came away with more respect

for him than I did for the other two.

Obviously, all three of these men

are or were wildly successful

and they all definitely had glaring flaws

that I don't wanna emulate, but out of the three,

I came away with the feeling that Elon Musk has this

just driving motivation to improve humanity as a whole.

That's the reason I made my video on Musk in the first place

and listening to his biography,

because this is one that I did listen to as an audiobook,

was really motivating for me.

It made me wanna put more effort into my own work.

Book number five on my list

is The Big Short by Michael Lewis.

Now, if you've seen any of my conversations

with my friend Taha on Twitter,

you will know that The Big Short

is my favorite movie of all time

and earlier this year, after watching the movie

for probably the third time, I decided it was high time

that I actually read the book that it was based on

and this book is an excellent overview

of exactly why the financial crisis of 2008 happened,

so if you have any interest in recent history and economics

and why the markets all crashed the way they did

and how corrupt the system really was,

this book is a fascinating read

and it's honestly a lot of fun to read as well,

though it will probably also make you mad.

All right, book number six on my list

is How To Not Be Wrong:

The Power of Mathematical Thinking by Jordan Ellenberg.

Like the title implies, this is a book about math,

but before you go clicking out of this video

if you don't like math, it is not a math book.

You're not gonna have to work on problems.

It is a simple introduction to certain math concepts.

In fact, he has one page that teaches you calculus

in one page, at least the fundamental concepts of it,

and moreover, this book spends a lot of time talking about

statistics and how statistics are misinterpreted or misused

by the media or by people who have an agenda to further,

so by reading this book, even if you don't go pick up

a math minor in university or study the concepts further,

it is going to give you a more intuitive understanding

of statistics and you're gonna be able to more accurately

interpret the ones you see in your everyday life.

Book number seven on my list

is The War of Art by Steven Pressfield

and this is another book that we covered on the podcast

this year and it is probably the best book I have ever read

for when you are struggling with procrastination.

This book is basically a meditation

on the work of an artist, the daily consistent work

put in over years and years.

It deals a lot with the concept of resistance

and how to defeat it, and honestly,

if you have a lot of trouble putting inconsistent

daily work into things that you're striving to do,

this is a really good read.

Book number eight on my list

is Kitchen Confidential by Anthony Bourdain

and I picked this book up because,

as you might have heard in my previous video,

I've been really into cooking recently.

Now, this book, while wildly entertaining,

is not a how-to on the science of cooking.

There actually is a book called The Science of Cooking

which I also picked up but am not doing with yet,

but this book is more of an exposé on the life

of a professional cook and if you've ever watched any

of Anthony Bourdain's TV shows before,

you will know that he is an incredibly entertaining guy

and that definitely transfers over to his writing.

Now, I will say that this book did teach me

a couple of things, which is why it's on this list.

If it was just entertaining,

I probably wouldn't have put it on there.

It actually has a chapter that talks about

why restaurant food tastes different than the food

you make at home and he also talks a little bit about

some of the basic tools that you can add to your kitchen

to be a better cook yourself,

but for the most part, the book is mainly full of stories

of Bourdain's time as a cook and eventually a chef,

and because it's Anthony Bourdain

and because he does narrate the audiobook,

I highly recommend listening to it rather than reading it.

And finally, the ninth book on my list

is Good To Great by Jim Collins

and this book was really useful to me as an entrepreneur

because it's all about how companies

go from good or mediocre to great.

The entire book is based on a five-year-long study

that looked at data from hundreds of different companies

and identified the ones that spent a really long time

in the mediocre zone and then finally had a transition point

to greatness that was sustained

and I took a lot of lessons away from this book

that I tried to apply to my work

and to my own company, but one of the most important

was the concept of Level 5 Leadership.

The book explains that a Level 5 Leader is somebody

who embodies two incredibly important characteristics.

First, they have an indomitable will and work ethic.

They're willing to put in whatever it takes

to further the goals of the company,

but at the exact same time, they are humble.

They live by that excellent quote from Harry Truman.

"It's amazing what you can accomplish

"if you do not care who gets the credit."

After I read that, I took that to heart.

I realized that I run a business

where my face is basically on everything,

but there are a lot of elements

that I have been able to let go

that have actually improved because I've done that.

So guys, that is my list of the best books

that I've read this year and I would love to hear from you.
