Waching daily Mar 21 2018

there is a reason why you're watching this video

welcome to Pramanik astrology channel i'm your host prasad Mahajani help

you go further faster into vedic astrological studies and if you are new

to my channel please consider subscribing you'll be getting a lot of

reading astrological videos just like this one today we are going to talk

about the kendra houses do you know why caner houses are so prominent and have

given so much significance in vedic astrology for that we need to look at

the sky first before we look into the paper of horoscope or a computer screen

we are to look out in the sky for the houses here is a trinity houses russia's

and the nakshatras the houses are the sky the open sky you can see is the

houses are the houses the rushes is the space and the nakshatras are the star

yes we got it ok it is that simple and if you don't know what is the space

go check out my local space video let's talk about the sky first how we can

measure the sky we can measure the sky with the horizon and with the meridian

and you know if you don't know what the horizon and meridian please go and watch

my local space video or the various planet earth video that will help you

understand this concept even better imagine a circle and if you cut it half

way through that is a horizon so now you have two parts one part which is above

the horizon and one part which is below the horizon okay and there is one

meridian which is intersecting it vertically

so horizon is intersecting the space or the sky horizontal and Meridian

intersects it vertically one four seven ten are actually the important points in

the sky let me repeat 1 4 7 10 are the important

points in the sky those blocks we see on the paper are that sensitive and

important points in the sky the first house that is ascendant is the point at

the eastern horizon and the Russia at the time of your birth which is rising

at the horizon so horizon the East horizon becomes so very sensitive and

the prominent reference point called ascendant and it is one of the important

kyndra houses the next k-mer houses the next gainer houses no the next camera

house is the fourth house fourth house is right below your feet it's in a nod

heed it's called the Nadi it's the darkest part of the sky which is not

visible okay then there is the seventh house where sunsets is the West horizon

we're sunset and West horizon or the seventh house is the last visible point

of the Sun after sunset you can't see it when it goes to Nadi or some or other

places you can't see okay so at the the East horizon is first and West horizon

is house number seven and all the houses from four to seven are below the horizon

okay are below the horizon and from seventh to the first house are above the

horizon okay so we have covered three houses first house ascendant fourth

house and the seventh hours that is the West horizon okay what is the fourth key

in the house the fourth camera house is the tenth house which is right above

your head which is Zenit okay then it is the brightest point in the sky it's wide

open just above your head okay and here is an interesting thing about this if

you observe the Sun two days if you observe the Sun through day like very

Sun had six am usually usually we say that it's a sunrise right what is a

sunrise Sun doesn't rise or set it's just that ecliptic movement of it we

feel that it is rising and setting that's a different story altogether

we're talking we will talk about it in some other video but

so we are talking about the Sun is rising at the first point or the first

off that is ascendant okay and it sets at the seventh house

but where it is at 7:00 p.m. 3 p.m. do em you have to check this out ok here

is an exercise for you what you have to do is you have to look for the sun's

movement in your chart just check your time of birth and check the Sun house

placement ok if your boat is around the sunrise your son will be near first

house if it is the evening time it will be near the seventh house if it is in

the afternoon it will be near the tenth house and if it is if it is in the night

it will be near the 4th house and what do I mean by near it may be when I say

near 4th house it may be three it may be 5 it may before and all when I say near

first house it's like the first house the second house or the 12th house near

10 9 10 11 near 7 6 7 8 ok go check out that it will be very interesting for you

to look at the timing and the placement of the Sun in your horoscope ok so yes

what is Kandra houses Kindra houses are the pillars of your horoscope why they

are the pillars of your horoscope just now we have discussed all these these

are very important points in the sky so if you have the prominent good dignity

planet or the benefits at these 4 points it really gives the stability and it

really gives the promise of a good fortune ok and if if these four houses

are involved in to the any good yoga's it amplifies the benefit nature of those

yoga's so Kenya houses are a very very important prominent and very significant

okay any planet in this for house is going to lay the foundation of your

horoscope for good or bad it's all your Karma's let's summarize the Canada

houses kyndra houses are the pillar of your horoscope kinder houses are the

foundation of your horoscope Kendra houses are house number one four seven

and ten the first house is called as the ascendant then there is fourth house

which is the point not heed in the sky then the tenth house is the point

opposite to the fourth house that is the zenith which is right above your head

now there is below your feet then it is above your head okay and then there is

the seventh house which is the west point where Sun sets house number one to

seven are below the horizon from seven to one above the horizon 10 being the

brightest okay so so now you know the nature of the houses okay

there are many house systems you will see few of the people few scholars

follow the whole sign few sigh few follows the dynamic sign if you follow

the fixed sign okay the whole sign is I found it very relevant which is the

classic one okay and what is what it says is and what it says is

the border of the Aries is the border of the first house the border of the Rashi

is the border of the house okay this is what okay

the border of the Rashi is the border of the house is what whole sign house

system is all about fixed is 360-degree star divided by 12 just become 30

degrees kappa windows 12 which is fixed then you can see whole lot of things and

we don't get confused just follow the whole sign and you'll be alright

there are two scholars who are doing great with all other formats okay using

the dynamic plus the tropical and many other things but we are at the beginning

stage so we are going to stick to the whole side okay yes this was cleaner

houses as much as I could hold cross and share with you guys if you are new to my

channel please consider subscribing you will be getting Vedic Astrology call

Ep. 19 Big Atlantic crossing - Duration: 6:41.

in the previous episode heidi decided to not join the atlantic crossing

i have decided to not cross the ocean

very sad

but really a choice from my heart

I'm just to afraid to go

I also get seasick every time so it's just too heavy for me

Tom goes without me and I'm going to see if how I can get home

this time you see how I, together with Rob, head for Suriname

super nice anchorage

there seems to be no wind but

i have seen something else

that there is a lot of wind today we'll see

well Rob, what do you think?

i am so enjoying it

what about the circumstances ?

Nice waves

also very big waves sometimes it seems like they are coming over us

what's on your forehead?

well to get used to the sea these things arise

also on top of my head but that is not visible

day two of the crossing

it goes pretty well on board

I had been really looking forward to cross the ocean with my wife

i'm still getting used to

but the sailing is fine

the weather is relaxed

the wind is good the waves are a bit big

one in ten to twenty waves is enormous

that puts the boat aside

therefore the windvane struggled to keep course

but now I have an extra foresail on the boom

first there was one but now there are two on the boom

this makes the sailing force even more forward

so here is my dish

I made fresh pie

cheese, eggs, potatoes, chorizo sausages

looks pretty good right?

regularly a round on the front deck to check the stays, sails and boom

on the way to the front deck I always come across some flying fish I give it back to the ocean

during check I check the split pins

I feel the rigging

check the suspension of the spinaker boom

and I look at the state of the lines and ropes

there can be damage caused by the continuous movement of the boat

fortunately, the shalom has behaved excellently

I'm going to show you how to get the weather forecast

we use the program Predictwind for this

after 41 minutes and 6 seconds the weather is downloaded

as you can see here is Paramaribo

and we are right here

here you can see the course of the route

at the same time how the wind develops

I also downloaded the rain this morning

here we sail in a rain shower

we had some drops

and again out of the rain

We sail along the waves

this was the weather forecast for today see you tomorrow

I just woke up and slept very badly

that has to do with the wind vane that was struggling

the reason is probably the seaweed

which always goes against the vane

and because of the high pressure he goes backwards

but also the cross seas that sometimes arise at night

how did you sleep ?

I think I slept for up to two hours

how comes ?

due to the trouble of the wind vane and autopilot

we must remain alert and pay attention

in the next episode you can see more nautical miles

life on board and something bad

I just had an emergency contact with the rma really nothing for me in the middle of the ocean

Does Japan DARE to be DIFFERENT? Ask Japanese about things they gave up trying. - Duration: 5:52.

I wanted to be a Gyaru once.

I wanted to wear one big sweater, show my legs but I'm to old for that now.

I can't do that anymore...

Not as far as Ganguro but very much gyaru!

Hey guys it's Cathy Cat.

On my personal channel I try to motivate people to be who they are and dress

how they want to do, dress and do the things they want to do.

In Japan this time we will go and ask Japanese people,

What kind of fashion style they are curious about, what style they would love to do but

they don't feel brave enough to to. Or they wanted to try and haven't tried yet.

That's a question I am quite curious about, so let's find out.

Don't forget to click the subscribe button

so you don't miss any future videos that we do here with Japanese people in Tokyo.

Let's start the video and ask Japanese.

Is there a fashion style you wanted to do but never tried in the end?

I wanted to be a Gyaru girl...

There was a time when I wanted to wear their makeup and long lashes.

What's the image you have of current gyaru girls?

Dark. Their skins are so tanned.

And their fake eyelashes seem to be really important.

They use so many eyelashes that their eye line becomes all black.

- Because they layer. - Yes they layer up their lashes.

Is there a cute fashions style you always wanted to try but never did?

I wanted to wear Harajuku kawaii style, dye my hair colorful colors...

wear just one sweater and show off my legs.

I wanted to do it at least once but I am too old for that now.

I can't do that anymore.

Same, I wanted to try Harajuku Fashion and have colorful hair.

Was there also a time when you were interested in Gyaru fashion?

I am interested in Gyaru fashion.

Even nowadays, I still would like to try and be a gyaru. - Same here.

What type of gyaru do you want to be? Ganguro or a softer type.

I wanted to try and be a proper Kurogal.

I wanted to wear leopard items and such.

Leopard print, short pants and dark makeup, coming to get you.

Is there a fashion you didn't try?

I am still a university student. But In Japan we have university student girl fashion.

Everyone wears some light colors.

Those cute clothes, I wanted to wear and haven't tried yet.

I still admire that style.

From cute university student fashion, what would you like to try?

The style you are wearing today.

You mean Lolita fashion? - Yes I wanted to try that!

But I wasn't brave enough for it.

Please do!!!

Your tights look so cute too.

Is there a fashion you wanted to do but didn't or only did for a short time?

I was a Gyaruo (male gyaru)

The male equivalent to gyaru?

Yes, my fringe went down to here.

And on my neckline I had a collar that went down to here.

I turned it all inside out like that.

I split my fringe like that.

I split it into spikes and fluffed it up for lots of volume.

Yeah I did that.

I also wore lots of chains attached to my clothes.

Like a cheap flashy guy!

I looked like a womanizer or... a host boy.

If you look like a hostclub man, then that's pretty much Gyaruo

But I realized that that's not really that cool so...

That's when I started to copy fashionable artists styles

I started wearing clothes like these, and it became quite natural to me.

Do Gyaruo guys hang out with Gyaru girls?

Gyaruo guys hang generally out with blonde girls.

It's all about the blondes.

I learned something there.

I really want to become a real gyaru.

There is a famous Gyaru YouTuber...

Not as far as Ganguro but very much gyaru!

I really wanna dress all up for it. - Lashes and all.

Super big lashes and all super Gyaru style.

What do you like about gyaru girls? - They are super cute.

It's a different type of kawaii and cute that you get in Harajuku.

What's different between the styles?

Harajuku style is very girly.

It's the type of cute that girls like.

Those were our questions. Thank you

You could see that many people were curious about a different fashion style

because in Japan there are many different fashion styles

Many weren't brave enough or thought they couldn't pull it off.

Which I find very sad because I would like to inspire everyone

and you guys as well to give you a little push to say

"Come on, wear the stuff you wanna wear!"

Be the person you wanna be and do the things you wanna do.

Because life is very short and if we don't use the chance and the time that we have now

then it's a waste of the chance and the time that we have been given.

The present is a gift. Present... gift... present...

You know what I mean. Anyways. I wish you a lovely day.

I hope you feel inspired to wear something else.

If you are curious about any styles then let us know in the box below.

What style and fashion are you curious about but you thought you could never wear it

you didn't think you have enough money or the right look,

let us know what style you are curious about.

Would be nice to find out.

Comment on each others comments guys and be nice to each other.

Curious to find out what you like.

And I catch you soon for another video on ask Japanese.

Don't forget to subscribe. Bye!

How To Flirt With Girls Like George Clooney (Without the money or fame!) - Duration: 7:47.

Matt: He's George Clooney. His charisma is off the charts.

He's been labeled one of the sexiest men alive. He's even been Batman!

Clooney: "This is why Superman works alone." Matt: But you have to admit, he isn't one of those buff,

clean-cut, young guys that women usually ogle at. I mean, he's in his late 50's. He

has gray hair, has wrinkles all over, and he doesn't really have the body of

Apollo. Yet, he sweeps women off their feet! How does he do it? My name is Matt

Artisan from The Attractive Man, and this is how to flirt with girls like George Clooney.

-Intro sequence-

Matt: We've done all the testing, we know what works.

www.TheAttractiveMan.com

Matt: George Clooney has many traits

that a woman is looking for in a classy man. He's both a badass and a gentleman,

and that drives women crazy. Looking at it from a deeper perspective, it's not

just his fame that landed him in the hearts of millions of women across the

world. Rather, it's what he does. The walk, the talk, and the mindset of a successful,

classy man. So let me explain some of his attractive traits, and number three is my

favorite. Because you can use it to turn a girl on in a matter of seconds of

meeting her. And before we get into the traits, make sure to subscribe to this

channel, because I have a lot of awesome new videos coming out. And also, hit that

Bell icon down at the bottom, so that you get notified every time I come out with

a new video. So what makes Clooney one of the most attractive men on the planet?

Number one is that his body language gives off a "Relaxed confidence." Body

language is what women see, even at a distance before you even speak to her.

This is a major factor in creating a first impression, and first impressions

are crucial. Take a look at how George Clooney moves. Notice how he has a

relaxed swagger about him, like everything is going his way. He looks

high status and it's not just because of his clothes. Notice how he wasn't moving

fast. He was moving with grace. He also usually has a smirk on his face, almost

as if he's saying "I love my life and I bet you'd love to be a part of it." His

calm, confident, body language makes him stand out. And girls notice that. Most

guys look down when they walk, but looking down is a subconscious,

submissive behavior. And it's also a sign of being depressed. Focus on keeping your

head up and looking where you're going. Another very important part to

attractive body language is to slow things down. Don't move quickly, or in a

jerky motion. Fidgeting shows that you're not grounded. While moving calmly has a

way of showing status and confidence. These may be very subtle movements, but

women will instinctively notice them. So from now on, pay attention to how you

move. I want you to walk like you own the place grab your balls and tell yourself

that you are the man, and then man up. Because remember, you're the prize. You're

the guy who's gonna get the girl. Number two is his voice is damn sexy.

Clooney: "Seeing someone for the first time, like you could be passing on the street.

And you look at each other for a few seconds, there's kind of a recognition."

Matt: Clooney possesses a great natural control of his bedroom voice. Which is a

deep, relaxing, yet strong and commanding tone. That sets the mood and creates

sexual tension right away when done right. He speaks with an at ease tone and

with a low voice, and just in case you didn't know women are attracted to lower

voices. He also slows down his speech, which is similar to what I mentioned

earlier about slowing down your body language. Slowing down your speech, and

using pauses creates sexual tension. It's very powerful, and these two things help

to set the mood. Just imagine if he was speaking like this: "Hey real quick, I just

saw you here and I just thought you were really cute I had to come over and at

least say hi - hi I'm Matt." There's no sexual tension, and it sounds like I'm

unsure of myself. Now, listen to the difference when I say it like this: "Hi,

this is really random. But, I just saw you here. And I just thought you were really

cute, I had to at least say hi... Hi." Also note how pausing to collect your

thoughts is important, as to not sound awkward, or stutter. So remember to be

conscious of how you speak. Number three; his eye contact is irresistible to women.

Just by the way he looks at a woman, can trigger sexual desire and turn her on.

Take a look at what I mean. Clooney: "You may only have a few times in your life."

Matt: Notice how he's looking at her like he wants her. And he knows that she wants

him. It's not just any regular eye contact, it's sexual eye contact. It's a

look that's full of power and confidence. That could put you into a trance. Like

he's tracing your thoughts and piercing into your soul...

So anyways, don't be afraid to look deep

into her eyes. It shows you're engaged and interested, and it creates sexual

tension. But you can't just stare at her bug-eyed. Instead, I want you to look at

her like you know that you're gonna give her the utmost sexual satisfaction, if

she's so lucky. And here's a pro tip for you; when you're looking at her look, into

her left eye only. Don't switch between her eyes. Just look into one eye and

she'll feel like she's really connected to you. Just practice in front of the

mirror, so you hone this skill. Now, I want to give you a little bonus.

What he says in this clip will make women want to sleep with you fast.

Clooney: "Seeing someone for the first time like you could be passing on the street and you

look at each other for a few seconds there's kind of a recognition. You both

know something, the next moment the person is gone. And, and it's too late to

do anything about it. And you always remember it, because it

was there, and you let it go. And you think to yourself - what if I had stopped?

What if I had said something? What if?" Matt: Note how he asked the questions "What if?"

and talks about not missing life's opportunities. Specifically, the

opportunity of running into someone you love. He tells a girl to live life

without regret, and that she should be taking risks. What if I had stopped? What

if I had said something? He's essentially telling her to live in the moment, and

not let opportunities pass her by. In other words, the opportunity to be with

him. I usually say something pretty similar before I start escalating on a

girl sexually. You see, all women have the instinctive nature to be sexual. Their

bodies are even wired to give them intense and continuous pleasure. However,

society and culture have done their part in suppressing his raw emotion. Making

women believe that they should conform to what people tell them to. This leads to

what we call the "anti slut defense" which prevents her from sleeping with a guy

even if she really wants to. Talking about her feeling free, and pursuing

opportunities, will show her that you're not gonna judge her for her actions.

Women often hold back their sexual desires because they don't want to be

labeled a slut. They don't want to be judged, and they don't want to be shunned

by society. Bringing up sexual topics in a calm and

reassuring way builds trust. And the more she trusts you, the more likely she will

go home with you. So, there's a lot more to George Clooney than just his fame and

his looks. he's an Attractive Man by pretty much all standards. Now, we can't

all be George Clooney. But knowing how he does it can boost your own charisma

around the ladies. Now, if you want to be better with talking to women and know

how to talk to women the right way to spark a sexual attraction,

I created a free Conversation Cheat Sheet. You get my top conversation

Hand written.. like you are being punished by your professor.

What is this? It's the report that you asked for

Why is it all hand-written… where's the digital version?

Why do I have to do your part as well, type it all again?

You drew with a laptop, but you did your report by hand.

I also drew with my hand.

Anyway, the report is finished… you needed the report not my laptop

Where's your laptop.. give it to me Am putting my laptop through school?

haa

Yes, putting it through school

School? What do you mean

Yup, putting it through school.. why are you so annoying? Anyway am leaving now

Please pay for the satay.

Here is something to make me feel less guilty.

You drew this

Of course.. not another person.

You are trying to get on my good side with this?

Not gonna work.

Just a little bit, Is it working?

Nope.

Stop sulking please

Just because of a silly thing.

Can I still borrow your class notes?

So annoying! Anyway, what do you mean by putting your laptop through school?

It does not make sense.

Wait a minute, are you still thinking about that?

Laptop going through school? Haha… are you curious?

Not really

Just admit it…I will explain it later

Yes, what does it mean?

Do you have class now?

So all these time. When you are not on campus, you had been hanging around here

Yes

The place is busy but not suffocating

That is why I put my laptop through school here

that is what I wanted to ask.

what do you mean by putting your laptop through school here?

Here, Mas Toni the one who served us the coffee, the owner of this coffee place

wanted to expand this place. He needed funding for its working capital

This coffee place opened since I started renting a room near here, There in that alleyway is my room.

yeah, i know.

So, I know the progress of this coffee place and after I took a look into it

it has a pretty good business prospect.

That is why I put my laptop through school or pawned it off to get some money to invest in this coffee place.

Oh, so that is what you meant .. all these time

Yes, also the system is profit sharing.. so I am even more interested

Whoa.. that is very smart.. I can't believe it

I thought you are a pretty chill person

I am still pretty chill

How was it before?

But when it is about business. have to be serious

Like the Japanese philosopher "sersan" have you heard

You are so old school.. like my father

Thank you Mas

You are not taking the change

Nah, It just makes my pocket heavy

Oh okay then, your change.. let me save them, okay

You are so old, Mit. Like my mother

Thanks, I am going to give you one week..

bye

Yud, wait… I can only design clothes..

Hey.. this kid. I had been looking for you everywhere

in class, Not in the café,

not even in the Canteen

You are just hanging around here.

Who said I am just hanging around? I am drawing

Here, the logo for your café

Whoa, this is what I meant

your drawings are amazing

Of course… Since I drew it

Exactly.

Mith, can you explain these graphs.

Which one? This one.

This is why you should go to class

Now you are inconveniencing me because I have to explain to you

Ah , this is what I am looking for Mit!

This type of investment model.. The investment is small but is already doable

But if you have no money It all amounts to nothing

Are you still collecting change?

Yeah a lot, two large jar why?

Here, one large jar is more than enough

You complete my life

Hmmm, pret.. Liar

2 Years later

Mas Toni! Oi..

How was the presentation? Successful?

Of course it was a success, Mas

It seems they are interested in opening a branch of our café at their place

Thank god for that

Let's pray for the best, mas

Is mita healthy, Yud?

She's healthy

why are you suddenly asking about Mitha?

Are you serious with Mitha?

Yes, serious

why are you asking about it

If you are not serious, Mitha might be taken by someone else

I have seen that you and mitha are close for a long time

but it seems that you are not serious with her.

She is waiting for you , Yud

Mita, let's meet up tonight at the café I have to finish late tonight.

I will wait for you at the café. It is important!

So annoying!

Ok!

Do not let me come here tired, after an overtime at the office

and then you talk about something unimportant.

So what is it ?

why are you being very strange?

Here it is Mit..

Yes?

What about?

hmm..

how about

what?

If...

we join our mutual fund account?

Hmmm wait..

there is something strange.

What do you mean?

Ooo.. wait a minute… did you already liquidate your mutual fund?

That's why you want to join account with me

Wait a minute.

we can't do that right?

That's not what i meant

Then what?

hmm

so slow

Lend me your hand

hmm?

Just lend me your hand

What?

Just lend it to me already

Here you go

The right hand please

I'm still eating. so hungry now.

Just use the left hand. ok ok.

Don't move, ok?

hmm

If it is just a drawing. I don't want it

So, if it is a real ring.. do you want it

How should I say it?

The Tarot Suits & Their Elemental Correspondences - What do the suits of tarot mean? - Duration: 10:54.

Hi everyone, it's Katey, and today I'm going to be talking to you about how I

associate the elements with the suits of the Tarot

and, kind of, what my general understanding of the suits and that

element is. Now, this has been highly requested since, I think, around December

last year, I did a video on my elemental understanding of the court ranks and

also the difference that I see between the Swords and the Cups, so Air and Water.

And underneath those videos, I had a lot of requests to, kind of, extend that and

do a bit of a video talking about each of the suits and the elements associated

with them and, you know, the associations I have with those suits. Now, there are a

few different ways of associating the suits with the elements, there's a few

different schools of thought when it comes to that. I am pretty well

traditional, or Rider Waite Smith traditional anyway, where the suit of

Swords is Air, the suit of Wands is Fire, the suit of Cups is Water, and

the suit of Pentacles is Earth. Now, there are lots of different ways to interpret

the suits, and the longer you work with Tarot, I think, the more personal your

meanings and your understandings become. So, this is just where I'm at at the

moment with my connections between the elements the suits and just the meanings

that I tend to focus on, and the areas of life that I feel like these elements and

these suits speak to. So, I'm going to be talking about these elements in the

order that makes sense for me, and that is starting with Air and moving down to

Earth. And the reason that I hold this - it connects also with my understanding of

the court cards - is that, for me, Air is the lightest, the least dense, is the best

word I can think of, the least concrete, the least solid. And we move through the

suits into real life, into practicality, into, you know, physical creation. So, I

see each suit as encompassing the positive aspect of whatever I'm going to

talk about and then the opposing. So it would be, you know, if something is true,

or if it is lacking, or if it's in the extreme. So I'm more going to be talking

about that core meaning, and then, for me, depending on the card and the

the spread, etcetera, that card could be interpreted as either, you know, as that

core meaning, or as a lack of that, or the extreme of it. And so beginning with the

suit of Swords which is, for me, Air. I would say that my absolute key understanding

of the suit of Swords is that it's about attitudes, beliefs, how we frame and

understand our world, so our worldview. It's our perspectives, our assumptions,

our biases, and I suppose, the lens through which we view the world. I've

tried to move away from associating gender with the cards or the elements at

all, and I also don't like the terms passive and active, like, that just hasn't

worked for me. I've come to more understand the suits and the elements in

terms of reaction versus response. And for me the suit of Swords is very much a

reactionary one. Another thing that I associate with the elements is whether

they're inward-centred or outward centred. And for me, Air and the suit of Swords is

inward-centred, is self-centred. And that is not a judgement statement, it is just

focused on the internal, so it's reacting to the outside stimulus, but that happens

on an internal level. And so I see the Swords playing out in the mind. And so

the suit of Swords very much speaks, to me, of truth and clarity, or a lack of

those things, so uncertainty, confusion, delusion, illusion. It's that sense of

clarity or a lack of, so a clouded perspective. As such, the suit of Swords, I

think, has lessons for us regarding, you know, self-awareness, discovering who we

are, and how we want to learn to reframe our perspective in order to better suit

us. It's learning to better understand, and to then define ourselves and our

place within the world. So I suppose, if I could bring down these suit of Swords to

a question, it would be, 'How do I see or interpret the world and myself?'

Next we have the suit of Wands, which is Fire, the element of Fire for me. And I

think, more than any other word, 'passion' best sums up this suit for me. This suit

is the fire in the belly, the motivation, the drive, the creativity, that spark that

gets us going and motivates us to do something in the world. As such, this suit

is an outward-focused one for me, and it's also a reactionary one. It's

reactionary in the sense that it just does, it just does. And, of course, outward

in the sense that it makes things happen in the outside world. This can be, you

know, that focus, that focus of creativity that allows us to make changes in our

world, or it can be that kind of brash, destructive energy that, kind of, just

happens without us really having a whole lot of control over it. Ultimately I

think this suit comes down to either creation or destruction. And the question

that it boils down to for me is, 'What do I do in my world and how does

interacting with the world shape or change it?' Next is the suit of Cups, which

is associated with the element of Water for me. And I spoke quite a bit about

this suit in my previous video of the Swords versus the Cups. And, ultimately,

what I said in that video, that the suit of Cups is about connection, that is the

essential keyword for me. I know for a lot of people it is 'emotions' and,

certainly, emotions- you know, connection is a very emotional-heavy experience, but

I think, you know, for me, it begins with the connection and then the emotions

happen because of that connection. So ultimately, at its core, the suit of Cups

for me is about a connection and that connection can be to anything, that can

be to ourselves, to others, or to the divine. And then, also, it comes down to

what meaning and value we place on those connections, how we understand them,

and then the emotions that we develop because of them. As such, this suit, for me,

is a responsive one and a self-centred one. Responsive because it is how we

respond to things, it's often a slower moving process that happens internally

and, therefore, it's a self-centred one. Connection, and how we interpret it, and

the meaning that it gives us, those emotions that happen because of that

connection. Some things that can arise because of these connections can be

things like our intuition, that might be - depending on your belief system - a

connection to yourself or to something higher. Connection can also foster

emotions or experiences such as love and care and tenderness. But, in contrast, it

also speaks to the lack of that, which would be things like disconnection and

loneliness, or a lack of purpose or a lack of meaning. In the extreme it could

also speak to bondage. And so the question that this boils down to for me

would be, 'What connections exist in my life and what do those connections mean

to me?' And last but not least we have the Pentacles, which would be Earth for me.

And, I think, the key work that it really comes down to for me it would be

resources and, for me, that includes anything at our disposal, so that can be

literal resources - money or tools - but it can also be things like time and our

energy, and also the knowledge that we have that we can use. And so, in this

sense, the suit of Pentacles for me is responsive and outward-focused. So that

is that it's a process of, kind of, assessing what we have available to us,

and then using that in the outside world. Other key words that come to mind would

be things like strategic, methodical, and practical. I think the suit of Pentacles

can also be tied to community and the obligations and responsibilities

associated with community. I also see this often as building long-term

projects or commitment, whether that be to another person or to yourself, and

practicing and practice makes perfect, and building things slowly, starting

with that foundation and, you know, strategically building upon that over

time. As such, I think a lot of this also comes down to tradition and passing on

knowledge, especially the Ten of Pentacles, I see that very much as, that

kind of, transference of resources, and that can be literal money or it can be,

you know, knowledge and tradition. So in many ways, this boils down to, 'What do I

have, what can I offer, and what is my legacy?'

Some other ways that I interpret these suits, you know, kind of the ways that I

distinguish them, would very much be, as I said, in terms of, like, starting with the

lightest thing and moving to the heaviest, so the least tangible to the

most tangible. It's also speed. For me, Air is absolutely the quickest thing, in

terms of ourselves it's, like, that almost instantaneous thing. So because culture

and perspectives and biases are so embedded, often we can't even see them,

they happen so quickly, whereas Earth, the Pentacles, to the other extreme, is very

much that assessing working out what we have and what we can do, there's a whole

process that goes into that. Another thing that's always stood out to

me is something that I just learned in IT class in high school, and that was the

idea of, kind of like, the levels of information processing. The first was

'information,' which I associate with Air. The second was 'knowledge,' how we can use

that information to do something. Then the next was 'understanding,' and so that

makes sense for the Cups for me, it's understanding our connections and

building understanding for ourselves and meaning. And then the next was 'wisdom,' and

that would be the suit of Pentacles. And so that wisdom, kind of, encompasses

all of the previous three, as well as another layer of that broader awareness,

of what is actually possible and how we can get there. So that is a brief rundown

of what the suits mean to me. Of course, you know, there are nuances. This is just,

kind of, like, if I had to break everything down into a few paragraphs, a

few dot points, this is what, kind of, the standard base understanding of the suits

are for me, and the corresponding element. So I hope you've enjoyed this video, to

all of those of you who requested it ,and I hope, you know, it's given you something

to think about, whether you end up agreeing with me or not, doesn't matter, I

hope that you've just enjoyed this video and, you know, it's given you an

opportunity to think. So I'd love to hear what you guys think in the comments

below, whether that's, you know, you have your own systems of understanding these

suits, you know, for example, for me it's largely the responsive versus reactive,

and the self versus external, and also that process of, you know, starting with

the lightest, the intangible, to the densest and the most tangible. What are

your systems? Are you, kind of, working with that passive versus active,

or the receptive versus active - I've heard that quite a bit before - do you

still find using the gender associations with the elements helpful? I'd love to

have a chat with you guys in the comments, and until next time so much

love, bye!

Shift into confidence with Mind management - Duration: 2:04.

Hey everyone. Daniel from Charm and Humour here. Have you ever wondered why some people

are better speakers in front of their audience than others? After all, if public speaking

was all about language fluency then many of us would be fantastic speakers. You see, I had

the same question myself, and for very long time, and this is what I wanted to

share with you, I felt quite comfortable with my speaking skills and techniques when I am in

front of my audience. But at the same time I felt stuck. I wanted to be better but

wasn't sure how to go about doing it. It was until I came across a concept called

Mind management. Now what is it? How I simply explain it as having an awareness of

your thought processes, so that you can use them to improve yourself. When I

started using Mind management in my public speaking skills, I saw some pretty

amazing results. For one thing I was able to identify my sources of nervousness, so

that I could then shift into a state of confidence in a very short time.

Secondly once I got into a state of confidence, I was able to maintain that

state for a longer period of time in my speaking engagements and workshops. And

third, I was able to jump into a state of confidence almost consistently in many

of my workshops and speaking engagements. So if this sounds pretty interesting to you

and you want to learn more about it, do check out the blog post on Mind

management on my website Charmandhumour.com under the Resources page. If you

want to find out more about Speaking with Charm and Humour,

check us out on Facebook and LinkedIn, just search for 'charm and humor' and if

you like what we do, then do subscribe, go to my facebook page or my website

Charmandhumour.com and subscribe there. Till then everyone. Take care.
