Wooden crates are always a go-to for organizing ideas.
Do a little hunting in the garage
and you will find old wooden crates buried
in the back of the room just waiting to be repurposed.
Next, I am going to give you
5 cheap and clever DIY organization ideas using wood crates
by simphome.com.

5.Storage Coffee Table
With a few tools like bolts, screws and
a hammer that you already have lying around at home,
you can turn your old wooden crate
into a fully functioning coffee table that also works as storage.
Nothing is more satisfying than being able
to manipulate a used wooden crate into a rustic
coffee table that has a charming farmhouse flair.
Add castor wheels underneath to give it
an industrial look and paint it with dark stain
to disguise the cheap wooden storage boxes on the side.
Spare a hole in the center for a recessed panel and add a vase in it.
The vase will be hidden inside while the flower will poke through.
Make your friends totally grow green with envy
with this cheap and clever DIY organization
idea using wood crates.
4.Always a Yes for an Ottoman
This soft and round (or square) seat with
no backs or sides are very practical for sitting
or resting your feet on, and there is no reason
why you shouldn't have one especially if you can build it on your own.
Get a wooden board which has the same size as the base of your crate.
Cut two long pieces of wood as long as
the inside length of your crate and glue them on the board.
Place the seat on the upholstery foam and
cover it with a fabric and staple its sides
to the back of the seat.
Coat your crate with shellac polish and apply beeswax after.
Put the seat on your crate after it's dry and admire your new ottoman!
3.Bench Storage Unit
Make yourself a bench to put by the window
that will also function as a storage unit.
Create three storage units by securing the crates with bolts.
Add a seat on top and store your books,
bags or shoes inside the storage on the bottom.
Paint the wooden part a color of your choice
and give it a light wash to enhance its appeal.
2.Chic Side Table
Repurpose your wooden crate as a nightstand
by turning into a standing position with
the shorter side on the bottom and attach ball
feet for decoration.
Coat it with a white paint and embellish
the inside part with scraps of floral wallpaper.
Put it on your bathroom to store your wicker baskets
and towels or hang it in your living room
for your own customized floating shelf to display your collection.

WAS ABLE TO EXCHANGE HER PAIN FOR HIS BEAUTY.
JORDANA: WE WERE LIVING IN FLORIDA RAISING FOUR CHILDREN
TOGETHER.
IT SEEMED A DECENT MARRIAGE.
HE SEEMED TO BE A GOOD BELIEVER.
WE WERE RAISING THE CHILDREN, BRINGING THEM TO
A BIBLE-BELIEVING CHRISTIAN CHURCH AND THEN ONE TIME,
I NOTICED HE STARTED CHANGING.
HE WOULD COME HOME LATER AND LATER.
HE WOULD SMELL LIKE ALCOHOL.
AND I KNEW SOMETHING WAS WRONG AND I BEGAN TO SEEK GOD
ABOUT IT.
I DIDN'T CONFRONT HIM UNTIL I FELT THAT THERE WAS SOMETHING
GOING ON.
I WENT TO THE COMPUTER AND I FOUND SOME HISTORY IN
THE SEARCHES, AND I FOUND HE WAS IN CERTAIN ROOMS THAT INDICATED
HE MIGHT BE LOOKING FOR A MALE COMPANION AND THAT SHOCKED ME.
SO, I WENT TO HIM AND SAID, "WHAT'S GOING ON?
ARE YOU WITH A MAN?" HE SAID; "YES."
AND THEN EVERYTHING FELL APART, EVERYTHING CHANGED.
MY EX-HUSBAND BECAME VERY LITIGIOUS, MANY, MANY DIFFERENT
LAWSUITS AND LOTS OF ALLEGATIONS.
HIS DESIRE WAS TO TAKE POSSESSION OF THE CHILDREN.
MY WHOLE BELIEF WAS JUST CHALLENGED TO THE CORE.
I WASN'T SURE WHAT TO DO NEXT AND HOW TO THINK.
I REMEMBER THE FIRST BOOK I READ WAS "BATTLEFIELD OF THE MIND."
IT CAPTIVATED ME.
IT REALLY HELPED ME WALK THROUGH SCRIPTURE AND UNDERSTAND THAT
THE BATTLEFIELD IS WHERE I'D BE FOR THE NEXT SEVERAL MONTHS,
YEARS, AND I NEEDED TO BE READY.
SO I BEGAN TO ASK GOD TO BE IN THE MIDDLE OF EVERYTHING.
GOD IS VERY FAITHFUL AND HE GIVES US THE EXAMPLE OF
KING DAVID WHO WAS JUST A CHILD WHEN HE BECAME A KING.
AND THE WAY HE COULD BATTLE GOLIATH WAS SOMETHING THAT MADE
ME REALIZE WE ALL CAN BATTLE GOLIATH.
HE WAS A LITTLE BOY WITH A SLINGSHOT TO FILL
A 9-FOOT GIANT.
TO HAVE FAITH LIKE THAT MEANS HE REMEMBERED WHEN HE WAS A
SHEPHERD THAT GOD COULD GIVE HIM THE STRENGTH TO OVERPOWER LIONS
AND BEARS, TO PROTECT THE SHEEP AND THAT'S WHAT I WENT FOR.
MY JEWISH ROOTS TAUGHT ME TO HAVE FAITH THAT IN TIMES
OF STRENGTH, THE MEMORY OF THAT FAITH WOULD ENCOURAGE YOU
THROUGH THE TOUGH TIMES AND THAT'S HOW I REALLY TRUSTED GOD.
I WOULD JUST REMEMBER IF YOU CAN TAKE A SLINGSHOT,
THE GIANT HAS NO CHANCE.
AND I REMEMBER GOING INTO ONE OF THESE MANY, MANY HEARINGS
AND IT DIDN'T LOOK GOOD.
IT WAS AWFUL, IN FACT.
I REMEMBER PUTTING MY HANDS ON THE THRESHOLD OF THE ENTRANCE
TO THE COURTROOM AND SAYING, "NO WEAPON FORMED AGAINST ME SHALL
PROSPER," AND WHAT ENDED UP HAPPENING WAS THE JUDGE
THREW EVERY ACCUSATION OUT.
GOD IS FAITHFUL.
HE TOOK MY SHAME AWAY.

I'll start a collaboration with the store "La Tienda de las Manualidades"
so, in this video, I'll show you everything that they sent me
for me to create some projects
I'll put box aside, to make some space
and I'll start by showing you this super cute card
Marta, Sílvia, Jordi: thank you very much!
They sent something that I consider a must have
that is a double sided tape roll with 50 m large and 1 cm wide
Another craft essential tool they sent me
was this 5'' non-stick precision scissors
and it's very similar
to my favorite scissors
so, i'm pretty sure that I'm gonna love it
I received this silicone adhesive bottle
and this pack of 3D adhesive foam squares
which I really love to use to give dimension to the projects
a pack of paper flowers
and a mini scoring board
you can see the size compared with the size of my hand
it is perfect to make cards, envelopes, boxes
and some embellishments
all the instructions are here

it has a scoring tool
and it's in inches
here is a ruler in centimeters
but it is only indicative
because the lines to crease, are aligned with the inches
I also received a very interesting punch that round corners
and to make notches
to create envelopes and tabs
I got candies
and of course
I received 2 scrapbooking paper collections
one is from Marisa Bernal,
called "A Special Day"
it's a very neutral collection, perfect to a lot of different projects,
but that can be complemented
with olther papers sold separately,
and adapt to a special occasion

and this for a boy
this one has several frames and an alphabet
The other collection is very funny
and I fell in love with it
It is from "El Altillo de los Duendes"
and it is called "Ofelia between Stoves"

Hunting Grizzly Bear and Caribou in Alaska: The Big Pack Out - Duration: 13:23.
I feel kind of naked without my rifle. Yeah, you still look very handsome though.
So do you I like your little beard, its very, very nice.
What did you say Mark? Very hard isn't it?
Morning, another beautiful day. What a day yesterday was we were stalking down the
valley yesterday after caribou and I spotted a grizz sat on the top.
It was a bit of a catch-22. Anyway, long story short we stalked into the grizz first
boom, Ian shot the grizz. I had followed him up we've got the grizz down it's
quite exciting because a tough little son of a gun he reall,y really was and
then we cross the next valley and we did the double up on caribou. Ian shot a
really, really nice bull. I shot for me which is a really nice bull.
An old boy again and same with my grizz, she was a really old bear. Caribou exactly
the same. He's got some miles on the clock and he could tell a few stories.
beautiful white mane on him. Really, really happy. So that was yesterday so
Ian's tagged out I've obviously got me moose tag left. But, you ain't seen no
moose here but if the chance comes for a black bear
I can downgrade from a moose to a black bear so I'll take a black bear. So,
hunting days I think we're done and alls we've got left to do today is
pack it out, which is going to be probably two trips right the way down
there, into the bottom and all right the way
back up to here. That little ice pack right there which has got Ian's grizzly
skin on it is a minute and that's where we're going to store
the meat. If the weather holds tomorrow then Cole will come and fly in then
we're out of here and back to Anchorage which will be good, which would give us
an extra day an Anchorage and we can get stuff sorted like taxidermist. So
it's all cool, I'll catch you later we've got a long walk down this hill and a
long walk back with meat.
Now, if you're gonna kill two bulls all the way down there you've got to be
prepared to put the work in after its get them back up here. Well it doesn't
look too far and you look down they're just walking back it without the packs
yesterday I just brought my bear hide back up there's more canyons over there
than then you can see from here it's almost as if you come up to them and
then the ground just disappears beneath you. So, we're gonna have to find a
route in. Hopefully one that's easy on the ankles and easy on the knees on the way
back up but I don't think it's gonna be an easy day. No I don't think it's gonna
be easy day, you came that way and last night me and Mark came around we came
all the way around the scree fell there and it was hard work I was absolutely
tatted by the time we got back. So, it's gonna be a long day but we've got to get
it done. So we've got to get it done. We gotta get the animals back up here
because by the sounds of it weather allowing we'll be heading out of hunting country
tomorrow. So, while we're getting to grips with one another I suppose we better get
down there and get these animals in. Yeah.
Whilst it's undoubtedly going to be a tough day, Wildey and I seemed to enjoy
packing out as much as we do the hunting. I suppose in some way the physical
effort involved in butchering and carrying out the meat somehow legitimises the hunt.
Every sinew of usable meat must be harvested from the
carcass and I can assure you that we recognize every single ounce as we carry the loads back at the mountain.
We have an unexpected visitor as we set about butchering the bulls.
This coyote appears from nowhere and I'm sure we'll be back later to pick apart the carcasses.
There's much less volume of meat to pack
out than we harvest it from the moose. But, careful planning means less trips up
and down the mountain.
All loaded up, I'm ready to rock.
So, you put a lot of preparation into this hunt both in terms of getting used
to our equipment getting the scope from Hawks setup and obviously getting
familiar with the ammunition. But, it's also the physical preparation we put a
lot of time into that myself and Wildey. Packing out 50 kilo weights doing a lot
of CrossFit, doing a lot of running and then just carrying the pack and wearing
the gear. But, nothing quite prepares you for packing out in this sort of terrain.
I've only bought got about 50 or 60 pounds maybe of meat in my pack but
these sorts of gradients are pretty severe. If you are going to come on hunt
up here and you do want to get part of the experience, it's not just about
pulling the trigger and the doing the hunting it's also about the husbandry
about the butchery about the packing out and you've got to be in shape for that
to. If you're not you're just going to wear at your guide you're gonna wear out
your packer and that's ultimately going to impact on your hunt. So my advice to
you even though I'm sweating out my eyeballs at the moment is even if you
think you've done enough work it never is keep doing more.
The last few hundred meters back to camp are the steepest and I'm glad when we
finally arrive at the ice pack to drop our loads.
It's a little bit late in the afternoon now, it's after my second trip down first
trip we went down to pick up some meat dumped it over there on the snow second
trip to go get the rest of the meat and remainder the meat two capes and the
rack. What a crazy day a day of days maybe but it's been hard work I'm
drenched through to the bone I'm absolutely exhausted I just want to sit
inside have a coffee and have some calories try and suck at some food well.
That really is the main work of the trip now, I've tagged out I've got a black
bear, grizzly bear, got my moose, got my caribou. Wildey's got his grizzly bear
caribou and black bears decided not to go for moose which is you know he's
called for do see end of the black bear we can use his tag for that. Now so we're
officially done on the mountain now Cole's hopefully coming in tomorrow two
pick us up and take us out of here which means one more night so last night. It's
raining and snowing so hopefully it's gonna clear up a little bit for us but
it's been an amazing trip I'd say highs and lows, but there's been no
lows even the tough times like today you know it's been incredibly hard work it's
been amazing it's been a day that's the right one to end the trip on. Team
working together, digging deep to get the animals back at the mountain bring the
meat out now we're gonna sit down have dinner together and hopefully dry out.
I just want to say a huge thanks to Revelation mountain Outfitters to Mark
McGinnis our guide, to Tony our outfitter obviously you know Wildey and
Dan the cameraman. We've all worked together to try and make this an amazing
trip. Can't wait to see the footage it really has been
tremendous but you know it's not for me rattling on you know gonna get myself
dry and I get myself something warm inside me hopefully get a good night's
sleep and then get off the mountain tomorrow.
So, look at that for a morning. It's a last day out in the field day 15 we're
about to pack up camp and head back just time for a coffee and bit of breakfast
and get set for the day ahead Cole will be here about three hours it's just
after 8:00 in the morning. Now, it's been a pretty epic trip yesterday and we had
a really good night's sleep last night. Still pretty tired but a little sad inside in some ways
that were going but also what excited that we get to get back to civilization
and share the stories. As you can see behind me this is a perfect day to go home it's nice and dry
there was this little bit smelly but at least to be dry when it goes back into the packs.
We've got a couple of days in Anchorage to get some washing done because at the moment my clothes and
my pack smell like death. It's been a great time it's been a very emotional
journey it's been a lot of hard work but great fun we're gonna be very very sad
to see this place go I'm very sad to part company with Mark and Tony
I'm sure there be other adventures here.
The atmosphere is somewhat quiet and
subdued as we pack up camp for the last time. It may be that we are taking things
a little steadier than usual as we have plenty of time to get our things
together. But, there's also a sense that we're savoring every last moment before
the inevitable trip out of the mountains.
All good things must come to an end. we've filled in the paperwork, but all that squared away we are now
breaking camp a little bit sad excited to get home we had a hard day again
yesterday we boned out both the caribou packed them back up to here put them on
the ice pack they're all over there ready to be shipped back by Cole when he
gets in there he should be here within the next 20 minutes. Been hell of a trip
best trip in my hunting career. Guys been great Tony's being good Mark's been
exceptional Dan the cameraman just a little bit bumpers ordered it's all over
really sad that's it over. we'll keep posted on today's events.

The sound of Cole's Piper Super Cup reverberates around the mountains
sparking is into action. It will take several trips to the Super Cub to get us
to a local airstrip before switching to the Mole M5 to fly as back to Anchorage.
Loading the Super Cub is an art form in itself and needs to be handled carefully
both to ensure the loads are appropriately positioned and to avoid
damaging the delicate fabric of the plane.
As we take off for our final trip back to civilization
I take the time to look over the magnificent landscape that's been our
home for the past two weeks. As we fly out of the Alaska Range in close to town
the vast mountains are replaced with lush green lowland forests that roll on
for as far as the eyes can see. We've challenged ourselves and work together
to achieve things nobody thought was possible.
We've been humbled by the sheer vastness of the wilderness and have come to
realize how small a part we play in nature's grand scheme. As friends and
hunting companions Steve and I have shared these experiences and built bonds
that will never be broken. We have both left parts of ourselves in these
mountains and we will always have a connection with this magnificent country.
One thing is absolutely for sure, we will return.
