Yarr me hearties! It's time to raise the Jolly Roger

and set sail for gold and glory on

The Sea of Thieves!

Yarrr!!

Sea of Thieves is the latest game from renowned British developer, Rare

the studio behind all-time classics like Donkey Kong Country and Banjo Kazooie

It's a very different kind of game than we've seen from them before

Here you and up to 3 friends are thrust into an always online sea of other players

and left to forge your own path to

becoming a pirate legend

There's no real story to follow here though, instead you set out on voyages

which are issued by one of three factions:

the Gold Hoarders send you out looking for hidden treasure

The Order of Souls have you taking on armies of skeletons and legendary pirates

While the Merchant Alliance task you with collecting and delivering goods like chickens and pigs

Once you've completed the voyage and have your loot

you must return to an outpost and hand them in to get your reward

Except of course, this is a world full of player-controlled

pirates who can swoop in and steal your hard-earned booty at any time and claim the rewards for their own

There's always a moment of terror when you've got a haul of cargo to hand in

and you spot a ship on the horizon heading straight for you

Yarr shiver me timbers!

Ahoy there, me hearties!

I just wanted to point out that you can sail off on these voyages solo in a small ship called a Sloop.

I quite like pirating alone,

with the salty air coursing through my grill! Harrr!

Adventuring alone goes from being extremely relaxing

to terrifyingly hectic!

Oh shiver me timbers!

I hope he makes it back to port okay.

I have to agree though, there is something quite magical about sailing off into the horizon alone.

But this game is designed to really shine when you form a crew with friends and command a mighty galleon

Aye, this game is built for interacting with other players,

for example, it takes a full crew to control one of these galleons

While someone needs to steer they can't really see where they're going

so someone else needs to be checking the map and helping navigate,

whilst others need to trim the sails and keep a lookout for trouble or potential booty

and it's all hands on deck when trouble arises!

Man the cannons!

I love the idea of everyone being needed to fill these roles

But it felt like once the course is set in the sails are trimmed

there's not really much for the crew to do.

I would have really liked if there was more to do to pass the time

Well, you can always play a delightful sea shanty or dance a jig,

and that view never gets old. I can watch those waves for days

Yeah, it is super pretty, especially when the sun catches the waves just so.

But this all quickly started to feel a little pointless to me

I mean the world feels kind of more like a movie set than a living breathing place that you want to explore

There's almost nothing to do or see on islands

unless a voyage sends you there and even then it's always the same thing

Yeah, the voyages just gets super repetitive

Go here, dig up chest, go here,

Kill skeletons, go find chickens, go hand them in,

then do it again and again

I would have loved a bit more of a structured story

or something to really draw you through.

Well, the voyages do get harder and more complex as you level up with each faction

And there's other things to do like attacking skeleton forts

and finding sunken shipwrecks.

And apparently there's a kraken out there!

Which I've yet to find...

And that mysterious stranger seems to have something cool to offer you

once you've levelled up enough.

That character is so useless!

Why tell me to come back every five levels if you're not gonna give me anything?

At least give me like a new hat, or some gold, y'know, bit of pocket money. Something!

And speaking of the rewards none of them are interesting.

All you can buy are cosmetic upgrades like new sails, clothes, and weapon designs.

And speaking of weapons, while ship combat is fun the melee combat felt super clunky.

Yeah, it needs some exotic or rare weapons, or special buffs for your ship

to give players something worthwhile to work towards.

It's just crying out for more interesting toys to be added to the sandbox.

Yeah, while I totally agree with everything you're saying

I still had a lot of fun with this

Getting voyages, setting a course, rigging the sails, tacking against the wind,

following the clues, digging up gold, fighting off other pirates,

Aah, it's the Pirate's life!

It just creates these awesome organic stories and encounters

from finding a lonely friendly pirate who wants to share his loot

Or trying to fight off hordes of skeletons while a hostile galleon tries to raid your ship.

When all those systems are just working together. It's so exciting

No, I wanted more from the world.

I think they've got the skull and bones of a great game here,

but it's missing the heart and soul for me

Maybe after they've added in more stuff to do I'll change my mind,

but for now I'm giving this 2.

Yeah, it's got some great ideas and it can come together brilliantly,

but I think it just banks too much on players making their own fun

rather than giving them something fun to do.

So it's 2 and a half rubber chickens from me.

I disagree with you both, I can't wait to get back out on the high seas

I'm giving it 4 rubber chickens.

You know this game made me legit seasick after a while.

Oh, yeah, I thought that too.

Arr, you landlubbers. That'd be a bonus feature

Ughhh, I think I've hit some rough seas

I'm feeling a little sea... sick... too

मनोविज्ञान द्वारा मिलिए अपने आप से II PSYCHOLOGY FACTS - MOTIVATIONAL TIPS BY MRS NISHI MALHOTRA - Duration: 2:43.

Today I'm going to talk about Psychology

Now where I was just about to choose between subjects

My father was very keen that I become a doctor but somehow

I quietly went and paid the fee for Psychology

Psychology has always interested me

The study of human behaviours

Why they behave in a certain way ? What are the ways you can control them ?

Its very interesting. Isn't it !!

Now there are certain things which are very cool in Psychology

And the first thing I'm going to tell you is Mood Freezing

What is Mood Freezing ?

You are very angry today right ? So If I happen to give you a pill and say, "This will freeze your mood"

This is like.. If you have a headache. I give you a pill

Psychology believe me, you start thinking , Ok my headache has gone

So similarly I'll give you a fake mood freezing pill

And you can actually control your anger

Now this is no pill as such

But of course, just think that you are taking a fake medicine

And you can control your anger. This is called Mood Freezing

The second is Facial Expressions & Feedback

What do you understand by facial expressions ?

Now tell me something, if somebody sitting right in front of you

You feeling like a turmoil inside but you pretend to smile

What happens. It starts changing your feeling and emotions as well

So what we need to do is, even when we are angry

We need to learn to improve our facial expression

And the feedback that will give to our inner self is

Ok, smile. There is no need to be annoyed

Its very interesting friends, do try it out

Now the third cool point is Self Affirmation

What is Self- Affirmation ?

If you keep telling yourself, I'm good, I'm really good

I'm the best, I can do it , I will do it

This is self affirmation

And this is the signal, we need to send to our sub-conscious

That yes, I can do it, I will do it

So all these are positive strokes

And this procedure of self-affirmation can help you find peace for your self

And fight failure and spring back again.

I'll take some more cool ideas in my next video

And if you like the channel, kindly subscribe to it

Please like the video and share with all your friends and family

Thank you..

Your Filipina lady arriving in Australia Part Two – Friends - Duration: 9:17.

Your Filipina lady arriving in Australia Part Two - Friends

When your Filipina lady, wife, girlfriend or fiancee, arrives in Australia from Philippines

with a partner visa or a tourist visa, she will

need to make some friends sooner rather than later.

Most homes in the Philippines are like a scene from Neighbours.

Always people coming and going, and constantly in and out of each other's

houses.

I used to joke that there were no Tagalog words for "alone" or "lonely".

Of course there are, but many could not relate.

Filipinos are sociable people.

When they say they miss "home", it means they miss friends

and family.

The point here is don't expect a Filipina to be easily comfortable by herself, or with

just one or two other people.

She will NOT be used to it, and the object of the exercise is to make

her transition from Philippines to Australia as smooth as possible.

Filipina Wives - Making Friends

Filipina ladies make friends easily and readily.

You see a couple of ladies hugging, slapping each other, teasing each other, eating off

each other's plates, and it's quite possible they

only met two days ago.

You know that British thing of holding back and being unfriendly?

Well, that's NOT the Filipina way at all!

And being in a new country, away from the old town barkadas (ie. close mates) and family

members, she will feel much better when she has some kababayan (fellow countryfolk) to

talk to.

It will help her enormously to have someone to compare notes with whilst learning

how her new country and society works.

And it will give her that social outlet she needs,

and will most likely be the start of a new social circle for the both of you.

How can you help your Filipina lady to make new friends?

Go to places where she can easily meet Filipinas

You're probably aware there are generally plenty of Filipinas out and about in Australia.

Decades of wives with Australian husbands, and overseas workers (eg 457 visa holders)

over the last 10 - 15 years.

And you will generally find a few Filipina ladies even in the remotest

areas.

And specific places?

* Supermarkets * Open-air/farmers markets

* Churches (especially Catholic Churches)

And I don't mean you go to these places specifically to meet Filipina ladies.

Just that it will be highly likely there will be Filipina ladies

there, whereas not at the pub or at the hardware store!

And what do you need to do?

Nothing!

Filipinas seem to be able to recognise each other very easily.

You'll be thinking "oh, maybe Malaysian....or Vietnamese", but no

they will sort it out.

It goes like this: A glance....a smile...raised eyebrows.

That's the ritual.

But don't get involved yourself, because she may

recognise signs of being mayabang (unfriendly, "up herself"), so trust her judgment!

They will talk and exchange numbers if they want

to.

And it will certainly happen.

The only contribution from you is if you happen to have a mate or two married to Filipina

ladies, then arrange a get-together fairly soon after your lady arrives.

It will help a lot!

Filipina Wives and Social Problems

It's not all smiles and hugs.

You will unfortunately find some social problems out there

which can be upsetting, and those which can be more than upsetting especially if your

Filipina lady is young and impressionable.

The Divorcees and the Gamblers

This is my opinion.

Disagree with me if you wish, but I hope you will at least consider this.

Divorced women...Filipina or otherwise....often go on a mission.

Why?

No idea.

Divorced men are usually depressed and keep to themselves,

whereas the ladies long to go out and socialise.

And they seem to like convincing other women that they TOO can obtain their

freedom from the shackles of patriarchy by telling them all the faults they can see in

their marriage.

All under the guise of sisterhood, of course!

A group of them 10 years older from their victim, and they can do some real damage.

I've seen it!

Be aware, and watch out!

The gamblers are the ones who play cards, mah-jong or the dreaded pokies.

Again, be aware.

Gambling can ruin lives and can certainly ruin marriages.

The mayabang, the maarte and the Filipino Associations

The mayabang, as I said, are the ones with a very high opinion of themselves.

Maarte means showing off, basically.

A bit stupid, but fairly harmless.

And Filipino Associations?

Most areas have these.

The President and Secretary of this are

usually very mayabang, and there will be bitter rivals in the wings.

Some last for years, and others break up because of internal squabbling.

The power thing is often taken far too seriously, and it can make get-togethers very

painful.

I can remember one gathering where there were three distinct groups in someone's

house and yard, all avoiding each other.

Others were texting others checking if "SHE was there", because they wouldn't go if

"she"was.

What it all stems from is that ones position on the social ladder (in comparison with others

on that same perceived-ladder) MATTERS to many Filipinas.

And the object of the exercise is to climb the ladder by putting someone else

lower down the ladder.

In the Philippines, the need to cooperate with neighbours keeps most

of this under control, but in Australia where new-found prosperity means no one "needs"

others like they did in the Philippines, the gloves are often off.

This means enemies and factions.

The "social ladder" has rules: If someone is below you?

You look down on them.

If someone is above you?

You "suck up" to them.

If your lady is young, unsophisticated and not very

sure of herself, she may let the more dominant Filipina ladies "up the ladder" push her

around.

Be aware of this, and let her learn the Aussie social level-playing-field!

Advice from experience?

Meet people.

Join the Association, at least initially.

Work out who's nice and decent, and work out who the manipulators and trouble-makers

are.

Make some friends, especially where Aussie husband gets on well with HER

husband (otherwise you'll find social get- togethers excruciating.....don't remind me!)

Then back off!

If she has 3 - 4 nice, decent, family-oriented Filipina friends nearby, she

is very fortunate indeed!
