ESOcast 126 Light: Titanium oxide in exoplanetary atmosphere (4K UHD) - Duration: 1:17.
Inferno World with Titanium Skies
It's getting hot in here!
Astronomers using ESO's Very Large Telescope found titanium oxide in an exoplanetary atmosphere...
...which may be making exoplanet WASP-19b 2000 degrees hot on its surface!
In large enough quantities, titanium oxide can prevent heat from entering or escaping an atmosphere.
Finding the molecule gives us hints to the temperature and pressure structure of this exoplanet, WASP-19b.
Research of exoplanetary atmospheres lets us understand exoplanet diversity
and improve our models for future studies. #hotstuff

Proof America's Got Talent Is Totally Fake - Duration: 4:34.
NBC's America's Got Talent claims it's trying to find the best talent in the country, but
is the production as pure in its intent as it claims to be?
Like many ratings-hungry reality competition shows, the series has faced allegations that
elements of the production are rigged.
But is there any evidence that parts of America's Got Talent's are indeed fabricated?
Let's review.
Unvetted veteran
You can't always trust those heartbreaking contestant backstories — especially in the
early rounds.
America's Got Talent ran into a serious fact-checking problem in Season 7 when singer Timothy Poe's
story fell apart ...
"If tomorrow never comes ..."
Poe told the show he learned how to sing to help get over a stutter he developed after
being injured while serving overseas as an Army Sergeant ...
"I had got hit by, by a grenade in Afghanistan."
After his audition aired, reports surfaced that his inspiring story was false.
While he did serve in Afghanistan, it was only for a month, and there's no record of
the grenade incident.
To make things worse, a photo Poe provided the show supposedly of him in uniform was
actually another soldier entirely.
Plus, audio later surfaced of a stutter-free Poe, calling his inspirational ailment into
question.
If that wasn't enough, he also lied about serving and getting wounded in Iraq.
Producers later clarified that the show only does background checks on the top 48 contestants,
so they simply took Poe at his word.
Crying game
Season 2 runner-up Cas Haley claimed that during the audition process, he was manipulated
by producers into triggering a young female contestant to cry on camera.
It was an incident he later called, quote, "The first time I realized I couldn't trust
these people."
Waiting in the green room with other hopefuls while the unnamed singer performed, a producer
entered the room and told everyone she had made it, so they should get ready to cheer
and clap.
Haley says she entered the room, everybody cheered ... and she broke down crying.
Turns out, she hadn't made it, but the producers purposefully misled her fellow contestants
into cheering and clapping to trigger her tears, at least according to Haley.
Fine print Watching the show, it seems like getting the
majority of the judges to give you a thumbs up qualifies you for the next round.
However, according to past contestants, this is not necessarily the case.
Season 10 competitor Kayvon Zand said he received three "yes" votes in the preliminary round,
but was told in a "generalized email" from producers that he would still have to wait
to find out if he would actually appear in the next round.
Zand's claim was echoed by Season 7 comedian Sammy Obeid, who said he earned the necessary
amount of "yes" votes, but was later told he was put on "standby."
While Zand and Obeid both wound up making it to the next round, it looks like not everyone
who earns the judges' favor actually gets to advance, and could be secretly eliminated
without getting a chance to perform again — a fact the show conceals.
Controlling the narrative
While the show makes it seem like the contestants get to choose what to perform, some reports
claim producers have a heavy hand in determining what contestants do on stage.
After he was eliminated in the second round, the street performer and magician known as
"Special Head" posted a video on YouTube of an act America's Got Talent allegedly wouldn't
allow him to perform: appearing to levitate another person while producing lightning from
his fingers, a follow-up to his self-levitation that won him the first round.
The tell-all book Inside AGT: The Untold Stories of America's Got Talent confirms that the
show does get to ultimately choose what happens on stage: "while the artist is allowed input,
the final decisions are all made by the show."
Wack magic
For the initial audition and "Judge Cuts," America's Got Talent is not a live show, and
some believe this could open the door for fraud, specifically regarding magic acts.
Speculation bubbled to a head in 2017 when famous YouTube skeptic "Captain Disillusion"
posted a long video explaining how the sleight-of-hand magic act of so-called "visualist" Will Tsai
was almost surely faked by producers using some CGI and creative editing.
As Disillusion explains, Tsai is famous online not for his practical, close-up magic tricks,
but for his nifty post-production video skills.
So his America's Got Talent "performance" was most likely pulled off in collaboration
with the show's producers and post-production team — something the show did not advertise.
Disillusion also notes that this wasn't the first time the show used editing in a magic
act.
"It's a reality show.
It's all fake.
They can do whatever they want."

UNBOXING: The TORQ R Rotary Polisher - Chemical Guys Car Care - Duration: 4:13.
Hey guys, I'm super excited to show you the brand new TORQ R Rotary Polisher.
Right off the bat you can see it has this beautiful design package which compliments
the quality product that's inside.
We're going to pull back on this flap to open it up.
On top you have the instruction manual which goes over the proper procedures of how to
use it, what its capable of and how to maintain it.
You've also got a handle for more control around hard to reach areas as well as when
working on large flat panels to prevent fatigue.
It also includes the Hyper Flex Rotary Backing Plate.
This is a 5 inch that helps to reduce putting too much pressure on the vehicle which can
burn the paint and since it is a flexible rubber material it contours to ridges and
edges to prevent burning.
Lets take the machine out of the box and it is covered in plastic to prevent dust and
debris from getting inside the machine.
This is the TORQ R Rotary Polisher.
Just put this aside for now.
This machine is great for working on any kind of vehicle and any color vehicle to bring
back that gloss especially when there are deeper scratches.
Starting at the top you have the standard 5/8-11 thread shaft.
This is the standard size for any rotary polisher.
You've also got a spindle lock on top which is the very first of its kind to have a spindle
lock on top here.
This is so you don't hurt yourself or the machine while interchanging backing plates.
On traditional rotary polisher there is a trigger on the bottom which the TORQ does not.
On traditional rotary's this is a dangerous area for people who'll put their arm around
the base of the machine to change backing plates which can injure you from the backing
plate spinning while it's still plugged in.
We always recommend unplugging or shutting off the machine before swapping backing plates
and pads especially when using a rotary.
This can change from a 1 inch all the way to 7 inch backing plate which makes it versatile
enough to work on small areas and large flat panels.
This is a very light weight ergonomic machine, this creates a very fun machine to use on
any kind of vehicle.
This easily maneuvers especially when polishing for a long time.
Down here you have the analog screen that gives you an accurate depiction of what the
machine is doing, how fast it is spinning in RPM's.
On your lowest speed setting it will be at 600 RPM which is perfect for spreading polish
or compound without flinging it all over the piece you are working on.
On the highest speed setting you have plenty of power to go all the way up to 2400 RPM.
It is a very quiet machine, even though it has a lot of power it is very quiet.
I'll plug it in an assemble it to show you guys exactly how easy it is to use as well
as how quiet and smooth it is when you guys use it on your own vehicles.
Start off by placing the 5 inch backing plate on the machine, take it out of the packaging.
Using the spindle lock, just press down on it and thread this on to the shaft.
Easy enough.
Like I have mentioned, I don't like using the handle so we're going to leave it off
to the side.
Now lets plug it in!
So you can see how quiet it is and just how powerful this really is.
Turn the TORQ on and you see this bright LED screen showing what the machine is doing to
give you complete control at all times.
On the very first speed setting we'll turn it on.
Very quiet and very balanced polisher which is uncommon.
Typical rotary machines make a lot of noise and vibration which is hard to hear over and
that creates user fatigue and that's no fun.
Lets put it on the highest speed setting.
Very smooth machine and very light so it's easy easy to use making it easy for anyone
to use.
After you shut it off it and turn it back on it goes right back to zero you don't harm
yourself or the vehicle you're working on.
So if you want to learn more the TORQ R go to our website chemicalguys.com.
If you like this machine be sure to give it a thumbs up and we'll see you guys next time
right here in the Detail Garage.

Bar Design Ideas - How to Design a Rolling Library Ladder for a Commercial Bar - Duration: 4:48.
Hey, Rick Uzubell again from Cabaret Design Group, talking today about
'Bar Design Ideas - How to Design a Rolling Library Ladder for a Commercial Bar,' coming up!
At any point in this video, please check out the affiliate links, including the
equipment and gift ideas, and if you're new here, definitely subscribe!
So how do you design a rolling library ladder for commercial bar? In this video, you'll
discover the secret to implementing a rolling library ladder for rum bars and
whiskey bars -- stay tuned! Many specialty bars, such as rum bars and
whiskey bars, have the need to display 300 or more bottles of expensive alcohol.
Because many of these bars also serve other types of liquor, it's virtually
impossible to feature this quantity of bottles on most back bar walls -- at least
not without making full use of every square inch of the back bar wall.
High-volume storage such as this normally results in storing numerous bottles
above 72" (or 1.83 meters). According to ergonomic bar design standards, this is
the highest recommended reachable shelf
(reference our 'Standard Universal Bar Clearances' sketch, available in the
download section). To further clarify, effective bar design requires that all
back bar bottle displays should be stored above the back bar countertop.
Given all of the above, what are one's options for accessing the upper bottles?
Certainly, some bar owners might employ a step stool or stepladder, but either
would be a risky way of operating. Beyond that, neither of these options would be
very fashionable. After all, if you're going to build a specialty bar, the only
viable option, in my opinion, would be to incorporate a rolling library ladder.
This is the safest, most practical and most fashionable design solution.
I've spent a fair amount of time researching rolling library ladders and the one I
like best is manufactured by CSH. As you'll see in the downloadable brochure, the CSH
rolling library ladders are available in numerous finishes and mounting options.
When planning a rolling library ladder in a commercial bar design, there are four
critical factors: 1). the horizontal projection from the support wall to the
floor wheels, 2). the bearing surface at the upper end of the ladder,
3). an adequate quantity of rail supports and 4), adequate clearance between the
ladder and the bar. Here you'll see a side view of the actual ladder we
designed for a recent project. The CSH ladder requires the maximum horizontal
projection not to exceed 31 inches (or 0.79 meters). Closer examination at the
top end of the ladder shows that the horizontal projection is referenced from
the bearing point -- the soffit -- not the wall below it. In this bar I designed the
bearing surface to be a built-up beam consisting of a series of three LVL beams.
This enabled me to gain proper clearance for the upper end of the ladder,
while ensuring that the lateral forces from the ladder itself would not be
imposed on the shelving system. Lastly, the rail supports are to be placed not
greater than 32" (or 0.81 meters) on center. As for the clearance between the
ladder and the bar -- shown right here -- I recommend at least 12" (0.3 meters).
When the ladder is in its maximum extended position; however, for space-challenged
conditions, a nice feature of the CSH ladder is that it's capable of
lateral adjustment, so it can be positioned to be operated in narrow
spaces. This particular ladder (129 1/2" long) -- and red oak -- costs
approximately US$1,712 and is shipped unassembled.
CSH rolling library ladders are manufactured in Wisconsin and can be
purchased directly or through Home Depot.

Gesundheitsmythen über vegane Ernährung | Alle falsch? - Duration: 4:33.
Today I'm gonna talk about health aspects regarding veganism and carnism
also to give some valuable information to new vegan activists.
When people are misinformed doubts can be bigger than openness towards something new.
And it's good to be doubtful.
Who would wanna be vegan if it actually made us sick?
So we as activists should be able to debunk the typical health myths.
Myth 1: Meat for health.
If that was true no vegan could be healthy.
The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, the largest organization of nutrition professionals in the U.S., officially states:
An appropriately planned vegan diet is healthful and nutritionally adequate in all stages of life.
Whether we are children, pregnant, old or sporty.
Many international nutrition organizations share that opinion.
The German DGE sees it a little more conservatively.
Because it's true that UNEDUCATED vegans have a higher chance of getting deficient.
And the assumption is that the majority of people will not educate themselves properly.
We as vegans should educate ourselves about the following nutrient sources:
Vitamin B2, B12, D3, calcium, iron, zinc, iodine and omega-3-fatty acids.
However, after this video you'll hopefully know that it's no problem to get those nutrients on a vegan diet too.
Myth 2: Meat for muscles.
Actually it's already enough to point out some vegan athletes to debunk this one.
Patrik Baboumian, vegan strongman, strongest man of Germany in 2011.
Jehina Malik, vegan since birth, bodybuilder.
Kuntal Joisher, first vegan on Mount Everest.
And where do all those giant herbivorous animals get their protein from?
Protein can be found in almost every plant food, especially good sources are legumes.
So if we compare 100 g of beef to 100 g of kidney beans the difference isn't that big.
Compare 100 g of chicken to 100 g of soy beans, not a big difference.
But plant sources don't provide us with all essential amino acids!
Wrong. Dr. John McDougall already refuted that a long time ago.
If we eat enough unprocessed starches with the addition of vegetables and fruits sufficient to meet the our calorie need...
we get all the protein we need.
It's not even necessary to mix foods to improve the amino acid composition.
But soy is monocropped. That's not good, right?!
Yes, that's right. But more than 90% of soy are used to feed farm animals so that's not a strong argument against veganism here.
But just the be clear: Vegans don't depend on soy to get their daily protein.
Today it's no problem to be healthy and strong and fit as a vegan if we only educate ourselves a little.
Myth 3: Meat because of a deficiency.
If you talk to people on the street about veganism you often hear stuff like:
"I know a guy who is vegan and he's deficient in B12, iron, calcium and D3..."
Yeah, we know these things can happen if we a) don't educate ourselves or b) don't eat adequately.
However, that doesn't mean that there isn't a solution:
Regarding D3: During the darker seasons where there is less sun vegans may get deficient.
But that happens to carnists too which is why doctors and nutritionists generally recommend supplements during the darker seasons.
Regarding B12: People often say natural sources are better. But what they usually don't know is that...
even farm animals get B12 supplements so the actual decision we have is...
Do we take it directly or do we feed it to an animal, hack it to pieces and get it from their corpse.
Just to make sure we really cover every nutrient today: You'll find nutrient lists in the info box (in German and English).
Myth 4: Meat because of a disease.
Dr. Michael Greger, an american physician, read every nutritional study he could find and published his results on his page nutritionfacts.org.
Some of the things he found out:
A vegan diet can help prevent 14 of the 15 leading causes of death in the U.S.
A vegan diet can help treat 9 of them.
And even reverse 5 of them, including diseases of heart, hypertension and certain cancers.
At the end I wanna recommend two documentaries:
"WHAT THE HEALTH" and "FORKS OVER KNIVES"
Alright, that's my input regarding health and veganism for now.
I'm gonna try to upload more detailed videos about certain nutrients in the future.
If you have questions or suggestions, leave a comment or write me on facebook.
As always, thanks for listening and until next time.

7 Tools Every Blogger Needs - Duration: 9:54.
As bloggers, we have a lot of tasks on our plate. If you're a one-person show,
you're a writer, an editor, a graphic designer,
a social media manager, a personal assistant, and so much more. There's a lot
of work to be done when it comes to running a blog, which many people don't
realize when they're on the outside looking in. Fortunately, there are a
plethora of tools out there that can make the job of blogging a little bit
easier. In this video, I'm sharing the seven tools every blogger needs in their
arsenal. Want to find out what they are?Just keep watching. So, before we dive
into this video, I do want to make it clear that it is not sponsored by any of
the tools that I will be sharing here in this video. None of these tools have any
idea who I am. They have no idea that I'm talking about them in this video. I am
wearing an Evernote shirt for the occasion, but that's only because I
absolutely love Evernote and they sent me a couple t-shirts a year ago, I think.
So, I just felt like what better opportunity to wear my Evernote shirt
then in a video where I'm talking about the tools every blogger needs? So again,
this video is not sponsored by any of the tools that I will be mentioning. And
let's dive in! Having been a blogger since 2009, I've tried a lot of essential
tools for bloggers because I've been recommended them all. Over the years, I've
been able to find my favorites and I've become quite loyal to them.
The best part about those tools is that they're all easy to use and they're
either free or pretty affordable. It really doesn't get much better than that,
right? So, to kick off this list I have to start with my all-time a favorite tool,
this one right here... Evernote. So, Evernote is definitely one of the tools every
blogger needs because it's going to keep you organized and really just make your
work so much easier. I started using Evernote back in 2009
when I started my very first blog. Instantly, I fell in love with the app
and I started to use it as a way to organize just about everything... Blog
post ideas, fashion inspiration, recipes, and so much more. Years later though, I
still love Evernote just as much as I did back then. And I still use it on a
daily basis. However, I have had people tell me
they just don't understand Evernote. So, if you're in that boat, I have a blog
post that details exactly how I use it in my business, which I will link to in the
description box down below for any of you who want to check that out.
But to give you a basic idea, I've created two separate stacks for
notebooks that are related to my blog and business. I have a stack that includes a
notebook for recording ideas, one for writing blog post drafts, and another for
keeping to-do lists. My second stack includes notebooks for my offerings such
as my coaching, my ebook, an eCourse and any other project ideas that I'm working
on. In those notebooks, you'll find plenty of written and audio notes. And you'll
even find helpful articles I've saved to Evernote so I can read them later, which
I do with the Evernote Web Clipper extension for Google Chrome. And the best
part is that I have the Evernote app on my MacBook Pro, my iPhone, and my iPad. So,
I can access it whenever and wherever I want. My next organizational tool is
Asana because I'm kind of a to-do list junkie. Not only do I use a daily planner
and paper lists, but I also like having a digital way to track a bigger projects.
As a result, I've been through a lot of to-do list apps over the years. I've
tried Wunderlist, Todoist, Any.do, and a ton of others that I've absolutely
lost track of. Asana is a fantastic project management tool, especially if
you're working with a team of people. It's easy to assign tasks to others and
to keep track of their progress. Now, I'm a one-woman show so I don't use all the
features asana offers. I do, however, make use of it to create tasks and set
deadlines for projects I need to do. So for example, when I redesigned my website, I
created a project for it in Asana, listed everything I needed to get done, and set
deadlines for myself. I even use it as my editorial calendar by tracking the
progress of blog posts, newsletters, and videos that need to be created, edited,
published, and promoted. Now that we've got the organizational stuff covered, we
need to talk social media. A social media scheduler is one of the tools every
blogger needs because the reality is, we can't be on social media
all day long, posting updates in real time. We need a
tool to do the job for us so we can spend time focusing on other tasks. Now,
just remember that you shouldn't let the social media scheduler replace
engagement. You still need to log in and communicate with others. But my favorite
tool for scheduling Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram is without a doubt, Buffer.
It's basically my social media best friend. I've tried other schedulers
like HootSuite at MeetEdgar, but Buffer is my go-to. It's simple, easy to use, and
it won't break the bank, which is definitely the best part. I rely on
Buffer's website to schedule most of my social media content, but I use their
mobile app as well if I need to schedule something when I'm on the go. My favorite
tool though is their extension for the Google Chrome browser which allows you
to easily schedule a post for whatever page you're currently on. This extension
also gives you access to their Power Scheduler, which is a quick way to
schedule future updates as well. Next up for social media is BoardBooster.
BoardBooster is one of my essential tools for bloggers because it's amazing when it
comes to Pinterest. I used to really struggle to see traction on Pinterest
due to the algorithm they have in place. But once I started using BoardBooster,
all of that changed. BoardBooster works by having you pin content to a private
board, which BoardBooster then pins to your public board throughout the day at
optimal times. So, with this tool you can easily schedule how many pins you want
to have per day, you can loop old pins to get the more attention, and so much more.
As someone who isn't as active on Pinterest as I once was,
BoardBooster makes maximizing my pinning so much easier. And thanks to
this nifty little tool, I've been able to increase my Pinterest engagement
tremendously and send tons of new traffic to my website. And when I say
tons of new traffic, I mean Pinterest has become my number one traffic referral
thanks to BoardBooster. If you'd like to try BoardBooster yourself, I'll include
my link in the description down below so you can sign up for a free trial and
check it out. So, graphic design is not my forte. And if you're anything like
me, you feel the same way. The truth is, I'm absolute crap at coming up with
design ideas, pairing fonts, and picking colors. I just can't get the hang
of it. And I don't want to pay someone to
create graphics for me because I'm stubborn and I like to do things myself.
So, I'd much rather spend the time learning how to do something than just
resorting to paying someone else to do it for me. So, while I do have Photoshop, I
still haven't fully learned how to use it, even though I do have a Photoshop
course I need to work through. But this is where Canva comes in handy. So, by now
I'm sure a majority of you are familiar with Canva. If you're not, Canva allows
you to create graphics for anything you may need and includes preset sizes for
Twitter, Instagram, email headers, and so much more. You can also use it to create
PDFs if you need to create some sort of printable for your audience. The great
thing about Canva is that there are a variety of templates available at your
fingertips that you can change to fit your needs. It takes the stress out of
designing, although you do risk someone else having the exact same design as you
if you're using a template. So, make sure you change it up. If you're selling
something online, you're going to need a storefront where people can make their
purchases. Now, there are a ton of options out there for selling products online,
whether they're physical products or digital downloads. But I use WooCommerce
because it can handle both. The great thing about WooCommerce is that there
isn't a monthly fee in order to use it, which many shops charge. Plus, it looks
nice because the themes I purchased for my site are set up to work with
WooCommerce as well. And it also gives you the ability to create promotional
codes, which of course your customers are going to love. Now, WooCommerce is for
those who are on WordPress, so you'll want to keep that in mind if you're
interested in checking it out. It's also great for pairing with the next item on
my list of tools every blogger needs, which is ConvertKit. So, ConvertKit
is truly my favorite when it comes to email marketing. While I started out with
MailChimp, which is what many bloggers do since it's affordable, I really found
myself needing more. I needed a way to easily provide a variety of
content upgrades and I wanted a robust system for tagging people to keep track
of who was on my list. And while MailChimp does offer tagging
and it allows you to create email sequences, I just find that ConvertKit
does it better. If you're ready to get serious about email marketing, I highly
recommend ConvertKit. It's perfect for what I need right now without being too
much. Plus it's so easy to use. The process of migrating everything from
MailChimp to ConvertKit was super simple as well, which was definitely a bonus. And
if you need something more serious than what ConvertKit offers, I suggest looking
into a tool like Infusionsoft. I had training on Infusionsoft and found the
platform to be very efficient, especially when it comes to building email
sequences. For those of you who want to check out ConvertKit, I've included my
affiliate link down below if you want to sign up and check it out. Alright, that's
a wrap on my seven tools every blogger needs. I hope you found them helpful! Be
sure to give this video a thumbs up and don't forget to subscribe for more tips
on successful blogging.
