Waching daily Sep 13 2017

Hi~ this is Jina

Today, I'm gonna introduce some products that I use daily for cleasing and moisturizing my face skin.

well, shall we take a look?

It's the make-up face.

So I'm gonna cleanse my face first.

I usually use 'innisfree's apple seed lip & eye remover' for the first.

I remove make-up around my eyes and lip,

and rub whole my face too.

and then, I use 'LA ROCHE-POSAY' cleansing water.

It's the second cleasing.

Sometimes I'm done for my cleansing step,

but when I do a makeup pretty much,

I use 'innisfree's bija trouble cleasing gel'

It's oil type.

I put it on my face and rub...

and now 'Creansing' is clearly done!

washing off my face...

Isn't it pretty brigtening?!

Well, now get started to put the skin care product!

First is 'LA ROCHE-POSAY' Serozinc mist.

I put this as soon as I wash off my face!

I sprayed too much this day;;

let water absorb for a while.

and then, I use this which is the product that I use from long time ago

It's innisfree's olive real skin.

I've used this since 4~5 years ago.

I couldn't find any better product than this.

and then.. This is my secret thing, I also knew it very recently.

Diana Zen's White Truffle Cream

Isn't it its package really luxury?

It contains as ingredient, White Truffle,

but I don't know how much it is exactly.

But it really good for Dry skin like me. It just makes my face more brighten and smooth immidiately.

I put it on my whole face and rub..

do a face massage from bottom to top!!!

Well, My night skin care is done!

But sometimes when I'd like to moisturzie more my skin,

I use 'sheet pack' for 2-3 times a week.

I really love this sheet pack 'FG beauty Stewardess Mask Pack'

attatch it on your face evenly.

and put the rest on my body too. lol

and wait for about 20 mins.

And then it's really done!

so, well... Good night all :)

I'd visited a few days ago.

But I really had a lot there.;;;

So I screwed up my diet plan ㅜ.ㅜ

But I'm gonna open up my short diet result video soon!

10 PRODUCTS LINKED TO CANCER THAT ARE HIDING IN ALMOST EVERY HOM - Duration: 11:27.

10 PRODUCTS LINKED TO CANCER THAT ARE HIDING IN ALMOST EVERY HOME

Do you ever walk through someones home and take note of items that could potentially

be hazardous to their health? I know I do! I dont mean to judge, but I cant help

but notice when people have fluoride-filled toothpaste sitting on their bathroom counters

or chemical-ridden cleaners hiding in their cabinets. But, what if some of these items

are sitting in your own home?

Most people have toxic products linked to cancer in every corner of their homes, often

without even realizing it. Its not like the labels of these products all have a huge

warning sign that reads, I can cause cancer!

Nevertheless, whether people knowingly purchase these cancer-causing products or not, we need

to educate one another on their potential harmful effects.

The following list highlights some of the most popular products found in North American

homes that are linked to cancer:

1. Shampoo

One of the most common items hiding in most peoples homes are chemical-ridden hair

products, particularly shampoos and conditioners. Some of the typical chemicals within conventional

shampoos include sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS), parfum/fragrance, parabens, synthetic colours,

and more.

Parabens are a known carcinogen, as theyre directly associated with different types of

cancer; for example, one study found that 99% of breast cancer tissues tested had parabens

in them. Some common ingredients in parfum/synthetic fragrances are benzene derivatives, aldehydes,

phthalates, and many other toxins associated with cancer, birth defects, nervous-system

disorders, and allergies.

Head & Shoulders specifically contains fragrance, synthetic colours, and SLS, amongst a myriad

of other chemicals in the toxic cocktail that makes up their shampoos and conditioners.

Some of their shampoo products also contain methylchloroisothiazolinone, a potential mutagen.

2. Non-Stick Cookware

When I first discovered non-stick cookware, I absolutely loved it! That was, until I found

out about the potential health risks that come with cooking with these products. The

issue is that non-stick cookware is created using a synthetic coating of polytetrafluoroethylene,

otherwise known as Teflon, a plastic polymer that will actually release toxins when heated

at 450 degrees Fahrenheit or higher.

One study found that heating cookware coated with Teflon for only two to five minutes on

a conventional stovetop can cause the coating to break apart and emit toxic particles and

gases. Even just inhaling these once can cause people to become sick with whats known

as the Teflon flu.

Some of the chemicals within that coating are also considered potential carcinogens.

3. Artificial Sweeteners

Artificial sweeteners are in so many products, and one of the most prevalent ones used is

aspartame. Aspartame is commonly thought to only be in diet sodas, but its often added

to teas, energy drinks, protein shakes, milk products, juices, and other artificially flavoured

beverages. Aspartame has been linked to numerous health problems, including cancer.

Theres been a lot of controversy surrounding the aspartame/cancer link, and many corporations

that profit off aspartame have funded research in efforts to disprove the causal link. However,

a study performed in 2007 showed that aspartame can cause leukemias/lymphomas and mammary

(breast) cancer.

Instead of using artificial sweeteners, try a natural alternative such as maple syrup,

raw honey, Xylitol, Stevia, organic cane sugar, or dates.

4. Plastic Bottles and Food Containers

So much of our food comes in plastic bags, containers, and bottles. Even our fruits

and vegetables are commonly wrapped in plastic. Not only is this extremely wasteful and bad

for the environment, but it isnt very good for our health, either.

If youre drinking from a plastic water bottle, the chemicals within that plastic

that are touching your lips can literally seep into your mouth, especially if your water

has been sitting in the bottle for a while. Left your bottle in a hot car? Thats even

worse, as the heat expedites this chemical leaching.

Youve probably noticed more and more BPA-free labels on plastic bottles, and thats because

people have become increasingly aware of how using plastic containers can harm our health,

as many contain BPA, which can cause cancer in people.

An easy solution is to use a refillable water bottle and glassware, which is not only better

for your own health, but the health of the environment, too.

5. Air Fresheners

This is a big one. Air fresheners are all over peoples houses; from bedrooms to bathrooms

to cars, people love them. Typically theyre made with synthetic fragrance, otherwise known

as parfum. Parfum is basically a cocktail of toxic chemicals, but instead of listing

all of these chemicals on the back of products, its conveniently labelled as parfum

so that companies can keep their signature fragrance a trade secret.

Unfortunately, this also allows companies to hide harmful ingredients, many of which

are known carcinogens, in their products without the consumer even knowing.

For a more natural alternative, try brands like Saje Natural Wellness or DoTerra, or

make your own using essential oils and water! You could even use natural disinfectants like

tea tree and pine essential oils.

6. Conventional Cleaners

Most families have an entire shelf filled with toxic cleaners because corporations convince

consumers they need different products to clean specific surfaces. Even though most

of these products have toxic warning signs on them that clearly state theyre poisonous

and/or corrosive, people continue to, quite literally, buy into this corporate propaganda.

Not only are they breathing in these fumes while cleaning, but so are any of their household

visitors and/or children.

According to the David Suzuki Foundation, some of the common chemicals found in household

cleaning products include 2-BE (causes reproductive problems), ammonia (associated with kidney

and live damage), coal tar dyes (causes cancer and harms nervous system), and the infamous

fragrance or parfum. For an all-natural, all-purpose household cleaner, check out Dr.

Bronners.

7. Toothpaste

Commercial toothpastes primarily use toxic substances as a means to clean your mouth,

as the ingredients in regular toothpastes can cause enamel damage, dental flourosis,

stomach ailments, skin rashes, and more.

One of the worst ingredients found in most conventional and dentist approved toothpastes

is fluoride, a known carcinogen. Fluoride has been a known neurotoxin for a long time,

but the government claims it benefits our teeth. In reality, it hasnt actually been

proven to prevent the buildup of harmful oral bacteria; however, it has proven to be toxic,

with long-term ingestion linked to brain, heart, and bone issues. You can get fluoride

free toothpaste here.

In point of fact, fluoride causes more human cancer deaths than any other chemical.

When you have power you dont have to tell the truth. Thats a rule thats been working

in this world for generations. There are a great many people who dont tell the truth

when they are in power in administrative positions. This amounts to public murder on a grand scale,

it is a public crime. . . . It is some of the most conclusive bits of scientific and

biological evidence that I have come across in my 50 years in the field of cancer research.

8. Soap

Whether its dish soap, hand soap, or body wash, conventional soaps often contain a wide

array of chemicals. Antibacterial soaps regularly contain Triclosan, which is a potential carcinogen,

along with many of the other ingredients often found in typical soaps. Conventional soaps

also often contain parfum/fragrance.

The good news is that organic/all-natural soap is widely available! Dr. Bronners

makes a great dish soap, as does Green Beaver, and there are tons of great body products

made by all-natural brands like Andalou and Saje Natural Wellness.

9. Laundry Detergent

Laundry detergents often contain phosphorus, enzymes, ammonia, naphthalene, phenol, and

sodium nitilotriacetate, all of which can cause rashes, itchiness, dryness, and sinus

problems. These chemicals are easily absorbed through your skin from your clothes and bed

sheets. In addition, many conventional detergents contain artificial scents and fragrance,

which is a code name for a sweet cocktail of hazardous chemicals and potential carcinogens.

My favourite all-natural detergent is doTERRAs On Guard Laundry Detergent.

10. Baby Powder

Many baby powders are talc-based, meaning that they contain high amounts of talcum powder.

According to the American Cancer Society, talc in its natural form, which contains asbestos,

can cause cancer. One of the most popular baby powders used produced by Johnson and

Johnson is talc-based. The company has been sued many times and has paid millions of dollars

to those who claimed their baby powder caused their cancer.

A more recent case against Johnson & Johnson involved a California woman who was awarded

more than $70 million in her lawsuit against the company, as she claimed their baby powder

caused her ovarian cancer. Johnson & Johnson, like many other companies, has failed to disclose

the dangers of using their products. Although there are many all-natural alternatives available,

heres a link to a DIY Natural recipe for baby powder.

Final Thoughts

The great part about all of this is that there are incredible, all-natural alternatives to

all of these products! You dont need to be living in fear that youll get cancer

because there are so many things you can do to prevent it, starting with replacing these

products with all-natural alternatives.

Much love!

FIFA 18 producer on transfers in Career Mode - Duration: 1:01.

Probably the most important part of career mode is the transfers – that's the main thing.

So the transfers have be redone and we are using the power of Frostbite

in Career Mode now.

What this means is you will see scenes, cinematic

experiences you will have where you can negotiate with other clubs.

So if I want to buy a certain player, I go to the club, I say: hey, I want to buy him,

I offer you this amount of money. Then right away you're going to see the scene,

you're going to see how they reply: ok, no.

I think you need to give them more money otherwise there's no deal here.

Then you need to, in real time, do it.

That's very important first thing, second thing there's more options,

like the release clause, it doesn't matter if I don't want to sell,

if there's a release clause and somebody pays that money then he has to go.

There's quite a few things in Career Mode that are going to change

that experience and are going to connect you

with the transfers, which is the most important part.

Stay Positive, Work Hard, Make It Happen - Study Motivation - Duration: 10:02.

for sure yeah there's times where I'm just like man this is it's a lot I just

want to go home I'm just like exhausted I'm tired but I just also remember what

I want in life and what I'm driving like striving for and I'm striving for the

most just the best career possible and to have the most people be able to

listen to my music and be touched by my music so you got to do the other stuff

that not necessarily what you love but it it goes along with everything else

how would you behave if you were the best in the world at what you do

how would that change what time you wake up in the morning how would that change

the food you put in your body how would that change the people you hang out with

how you spend your time throughout the day what websites you visit whether or

not you work from a schedule if you were world class and the best in the world at

what you do how would your behavior change it's a really interesting

question that I started asking myself a few years ago and I will tell you it has

changed everything it's one of those singular questions whether you put it on

your screensaver you have a little reminder on your cell phone you have it

on the top of a notebook I guarantee you if you start looking at your world

through this lens it's gonna shift everything now let me ask you this just

to back this up a little bit more are you guys here because you want to be

mediocre mediocre sucks does it not we want to be world-class we want to be the

best and let me ask you this who's in charge of you being the best in the

world yes can I hear an I am a little louder

one more Amen and it's not even a Sunday okay good I talked about faith passion

obviously the drive with the guys that I've been around

guys that surround me every single day but a part of that is having the will to

succeed you know knowing that you put the work in and have the confidence to

let it show what I tell people is just be the best version of yourself and

anything that you do you don't have to live anybody else's story sometimes

people make it seem like you have to have certain prerequisites or a crazy

life story in order to be successful in this world but the truth is you really

don't it doesn't matter where you come from what you have or don't have what

you lack which you have too much of but all you need to have is faith in God an

undying passion for what you do or what you choose to do in this life and a

relentless drive and the will to do whatever it takes to be successful and

whatever you put your mind to make sure you live in the moment and work your

butt off every single day and I hope I inspire people all around the world to

just be themselves be humble and be grateful for all the blessings in your

life you can spend your whole life imagining ghosts worrying about the

pathway to the future but all there will ever be is what's happening here in the

decisions we make in this moment which are based in either love or fear so many

of us choose our path out of fear disguised as practicality what we really

want seems impossibly out of reach and ridiculous to expect so we never dare to

ask the universe for it I'm saying I'm the proof that you can

ask the universe for it

please

and if it doesn't happen for you right away it's only because the universe is

so busy fulfilling my order

my father could have been a great comedian but he didn't believe that that

was possible for him and so he made a conservative choice instead he got a

safe job as an accountant and when I was 12 years old he was let go from that

safe job and our family had to do whatever we could to survive I learned

many great lessons from my father not the least of which was that you can fail

at what you don't want so you might as well take a chance on doing what you

love

what follows the word I am I believe you're inviting into your life so I

think a lot of people don't realize it but playing in their mind and even

sometimes we say it you know you know what I am slow I am unlucky I am you

know not attractive and I think we're inviting negative things in I think

we're supposed to say you know what I'm blessed I'm strong I'm healthy I'm

talented I think you have to invite the right things into your life life is very

short I see people going oh I'm 22 I only have you know I have all the world

in front of me you don't first of all tomorrow's not guaranteed but more

importantly the age with which people are starting to become entrepreneurs I

regret there's a kid he made a nuclear power plant in San Francisco he's 17

years old that's your new competitor so increase

your sense of urgency as an intangible told you the issue is confidence but if

I can make you immune to failure not ashamed to trip and fall if you can have

an opportunity to have somebody invest in you in an early age believe in

yourself have some some experience with free enterprise what's starting

something on your own but is believing in yourself pursuing it no matter what

the outcome an entrepreneurial mindset works whether you're running a household

whether you're running a community center or city government or your own

life or your own business it is the can-do empowerment based what

I'm for not what I'm against mindset that I will do anything from from

anywhere for any purpose at any time that is unique to an entrepreneur that

is always reimagining everything and creating solutions

that's just a winning attitude about life running your own race demands

trusting yourself even when others don't because guess what there are a lot of

people good people people who love you who trust you and who you love and trust

who want the best for you and you'll come to them with some ideas about what

you want to do and how you want to do it and they're gonna say that's crazy just

like when I left my first engineering job at Kraft and was telling my

grandfather I was going back to business school and he said that's a great paying

job that's crazy and when I finished Business School and decided to join the

tumultuous world of Investment Banking my friends and my family and my it was

spoke up with concerns about my sanity and when I left Goldman Sachs right

after we've gone public to set up a private equity firm called Vista my

mentors and colleagues at Goldman Sachs thought I was crazy and to top it all

off when I told I'm gonna start a firm we're gonna focus on enterprise software

and not be diversified like all other private equity firms I was gonna hire a

team of smart young talented people who'd never done this before everyone

knew I was certifiable and I did this of course in the spring of 2000 about two

months before the entire tech bubble crashed well all I can tell you is I've

never been mad at these folks in fact I'm grateful for the advice and their

concern because in their caution I found my courage in their doubts I found my

resolve and in their warning warnings I found my voice and chartered my own

journey and I'm proud of the Vista story we take risks we do things

differently and we listen to our own voice we run our own race and it has

worked we are now considered to be the number one private equity firm on the

planet and have been so for the last decade mediocrity is very common

it means being average average people are average mediocrity is for losers

the reason mediocrity is for losers is given the choice of five places to eat

lunch are you gonna pick the mediocre one given the choice of five people to

hire are you going to pick the mediocre one in fact in our Google fueled

world where you have a choice of a million things for every topic who picks

average who picks mediocre nobody so as a salesperson you have a big problem

because there's all this pressure on you to be average

all this pressure to have a bigger kickback selling more items all this

pressure to call and more and more people offering the more and more to fit

in to wear the same clothes every other salesperson to show up the same ways

every salesperson make the same pitch and be cheaper and guess what nobody

wins at cheaper except for maybe Walmart that the big win is when you refuse to

settle for average or mediocre and you say I'm gonna give up 90% of what I

could do and here's an example if I go to yahoo.com there's a higher than 50

links on that one page a couple years ago if I went to google.com two or three

so Google lost all the opportunities to drive people to finance to drive people

the weather to drive people to this drive people to that and instead they

did one thing and so if someone said where shall I search even though the

searches were very similar everyone said go to Google because they

stood out and so that's when I learned the tough lesson nothing happens

overnight there's no such thing as overnight success and that's the biggest

thing we do to our young people tell them there's a thing

as overnight success you had to bust your ass roll up your sleeves and attack attack

attack attack every single day and that's what I've been telling my film students at NYU for

the last 15 years

Essence of Murli 14-09-2017 - Duration: 6:22.

Om Shanti !

Today's Murli Date is 14th September 2017

Essence: Sweet children, first have the faith that each of you is a soul.

( Did every one firmly resolved above ? )

While living at home, consider yourself to be a child and a grandchild of Shiv Baba. It is this that takes effort.

Question: Which deep secret do you effort -making children understand very well?

Answer: You effort-makers understand that no one has as yet become 16 celestial degrees full.

Everyone is making effort. No one has the power to say: I have become complete.

If a soul had become complete, he would have shed his body and gone and sat in the subtle region.

No one is able to return to the supreme abode until the Bridegroom comes and takes the brides back home.

This is a deep secret.

Song: See your face in the mirror of your heart.

Essence for dharna: 1.Don't have any desires for visions etc. Develop faith in the intellect and make effort.

First of all, have the faith that you are a very subtle soul.

2. At times of sickness etc., stay in remembrance of the Father.

Sickness is the suffering of karma; it is only by having remembrance that the soul will become pure.

Become pure and go to the pure world.

Blessing: May you attain your complete and perfect stage by becoming free from subtle sins and become an embodiment of success.

Some children have become very easy in terms of the knowledge of the philosophy of karma and this is why they continue to commit very small sins.

The principle of the philosophy of karma is:

If you defame anyone, spread anyone's defect or take sides with others, that is also to become a partner in crime.

Today, you may defame someone and tomorrow that person will defame you twice as much.

These small sins become an obstacle in attaining your complete and perfect stage.

Therefore, know the philosophy of karma, free yourself from sins and become an embodiment of success.

Slogan: In order to become equal to Adi Pita (first father, Brahma Baba), become pillars of power, peace and all virtues.

To the sweetest, beloved, long-lost and now-found children, love, remembrance and good morning from the Mother, the Father, BapDada.

The spiritual Father says namaste to the spiritual children.

We spiritual children convey to spiritual Baapdada, our love our remembrance, our good morning & our namaste namaste

Om Shanti !

Fuji Guys - FUJIFILM X-E3 - Family Time With The X-E3 - Duration: 6:27.

Hey guys, I am Billy of the Fuji Guys. I'm out here with the brand-new Fujifilm X-E3.

One of my favorite cameras of course is the X-T20 so I'm gonna give this a run

for its money to see if it's gonna be my next favorite camera.

So a lot of times I'm always taking pictures and I never get shots in it so

I kind of have to bring my little tripod to get me in the shot. Actually I'm gonna

do a quite a low shot today instead. Got my trusty little retro-style tripod

if you don't have like a remote release or something like that you can always

get one it's a 2.5 millimeter connector and it's compatible with with remote

releases that I should work with Canon that releases so if you have one of

those, then it's gonna work perfectly. When I use the self-timer function what

I'd like to do also is, of course, you got two options two seconds and 10 seconds I

generally put it on 10 seconds so I can actually run in to get my shot, but it

only takes one picture so what I actually do is I change the drive mode

to a continuous and when I choose one of the continuous shooting modes here.

You've got eight frames, five frames four frames or three frames. I'm just going to

choose five frames it actually takes three shots instead of a single one.

Which is kind of nice so here's just a little test you can see you got a

countdown timer. The light on the front lights up to tell you that and it starts

blinking when it gets to about a few seconds before the shot.

And here it actually provides four shots for me so that's gonna help me set up my shot

So the X-E3 comes with the kit lens this is the 18-55 kit, it is of

course compatible with every FUJIFILM XF lens so I'm just going to switch it

over and try out the XF50F2 take pictures of my kids again just to see

you know, the nicer portrait and nicer bokeh that you can get from a prime

lens like that.

One of the new things on the X-E3, of course, is the new algorithm for

autofocus and also effects the continuous autofocus which is gonna be

perfect for taking pictures of my kids especially tracking. It's supposed to

lock on them a lot more accurately and much faster as they move through the

scene so you know it's really gonna be a key benefit for me deciding to pick this

over any other camera.

What's important to me in a camera of course is video. I do a lot of videos

with my kids typically when they were born you know I look back at some of the

pictures I've taken and in some of the videos and even though the videos

were not the best of quality. I kind of enjoyed those more than the pictures so

to me you know I want to film a lot of video now and I shoot on 4k the X-T20

was great for that. The great thing in the X-E3 is that it offers the

exact same you know 4k capabilities. What's also cool is that you know I

don't have to know anything but video you know. That's a great thing about

the Fuji cameras and you know I can see that with the X-E3 as I film videos

here you know shooting in Astia with -1 / -1it really does give

me these images that just pop and you know having the larger sensor makes it

you know so much better especially when you can kind of isolate the subject from

the background.

So I really enjoy taking pictures of my kids. Doing videos with them this is kind

of, you know, what I'm put on earth to do. They are really everything for me and

you know I always like to capture those moments both photos and videos. Now to me

what makes me pick a camera of course the size and weight and this is why

mirrorless cameras are so good is that they can be made so compact and so

lightweight this is one of the smallest cameras now with an electronic

viewfinder in the X Series and you know it might be my next favorite camera over the X-T20

Now I like to put my images on Facebook so again that new fast Wi-Fi

Bluetooth combination really makes it very simple for me to share images on

the spot. I can easily just transfer it over to my smartphone and then of course

put it up on Facebook and get all the likes from the grandparents.

The First Farm to Table Dinner at the Ranch - Duration: 8:50.

Hi, I'm Erin and today we take a look back at our first farm to table dinner on Our Wyoming Life

Early this spring when there was still snow on the ground and I didn't have much going

on I thought it would be fun to host a farm to table dinner.

This is a problem that I have when boredom sets in the winter.

I plan more work for myself that falls in the summertime and somehow think I will have

time to do it all.

Last fall I became aware of what the farm to table dinner concept was and I was intrigued

but I honestly thought it was something we could never pull off here on the ranch, and

even if we could, I thought it would be something that would happen 2 or 3 years down the road.

A farm to table dinner is a meal prepared on site with ingredients sourced from on that

farm and other local producers.

In the early months of spring, myself and my other farmers market manager Megan, were

discussing fund raising options for our local Saturday farmers market.

We have existing programs in the market we wanted to expand and new programs we wanted

to launch but we needed money.

We had applied for a local grant but unfortunately we didn't get it.

We started looking at different fund raising ideas and this idea of the farm to table dinner

kept popping up in my head.

As soon as I mentioned it, all other fund raising ideas went out the window and we went

to work making the dinner happen.

A date was set for a Sunday evening at the end of august.

Our first big hurdle was finding a caterer who would work with fresh local ingredients.

Pizza Carrello was my first choice.

A few years ago Pizza Carrello started as a food truck with a mobile wood fired oven,

their pizza was to die for and from the beginning their creativity as chefs has always shown

through.

We had our first meeting about the farm to table dinner in May and they were 100 percent

on board and I left feeling that we could actually accomplish this.

With the caterers nailed down, I now had to grow what I said I could.

I spent weeks and months, not only growing for our customers at farmers market but also

in the back of my mind making sure we had what we need for this dinner, still months

away.

I spent plenty of nights, praying it wouldn't hail, or rain too hard and wash away my seed.

Kale had to be reseeded due to poor germination and it almost wasn't mature enough to harvest.

Onions and some zucchini had to be sourced from another local farmer as well as a few

other items.

But at the end of the day everything that was served that night was local and that was

the whole goal of the event.

We decided to sell 65 tickets.

65 seats is what we could fit in the shop.

After some low budget advertising and inviting all of our friends and market customers we

were able to sell 62 tickets.

The week of the event over 150 pounds of veggies were delivered Pizza Carrello as well as several

brisket and pork shoulder roast that was raised right here on the ranch.

That Sunday morning the day started with the sun and weeds had to be pulled in the garden

and tables and chairs needed set up.

Flowers needed arranged and the chicken house needed cleaned.

Friends and neighbors pitched in to get the job done.

That afternoon everything came together and guests started arriving.

They were greeted by Megan, our market manager and her husband and their first taste of local

food was delicious and salty kale chips.

A glass of Wyoming beer and Wyoming wine was handed out and guests made their way to look

at the gardens, high tunnel and our new orchard.

The bottle calves, baby pigs and chickens were also available for everyone to see.

At about 5:00 it was time for the first course.

Zucchini roulades with local cheese made from fresh cow milk set the tone and they were

to die for.

The next course was a surprise and not something that we had planned on.

Garden soup in a bread bowl.

As Pizza Carrello was cooking they mad scientisted together this amazing, creamy soup from all

kinds of veggies.

The chef said it could probably never be recreated again and it was honestly my favorite thing

that I ate all night.

It was so good I even ate the bowl.

The main course was meat with a side of meat with a side of veggies with a side of slaw.

Beer braised brisket and herb covered pork shoulder roast were the star of the plate.

The veggies were also not to be overlooked.

Roasted in the wood fired oven they were caramelized and tender.

Root vegetables like beets, golden beets, fennel, onions, potatoes and carrots were

drizzled with a honey thyme glaze that highlighted their natural sweetness.

The chokecherry, apple and pear slaw that was also served was acidic and crunchy and

cut through the richness of the brisket and pork to balance the plate out and kept you

coming back for another bite.

By the end of the main course everyone in attendance was full.

Ridiculously full but there was still dessert.

Rhubarb and Chokecherry sorbet finished the meal along with a honey cookie.

The sorbet was light and tart and a perfect way to end the meal.

As dessert was being finished it was time to highlight Our Wyoming Life.

Mike and I premiered our new trailer that we had worked on over the last couple weeks,

often very late at night.

We are so very proud of it and it was such an enjoyable experience to watch people watching

the new trailer.

It was received with a round of applause and some ooo's and ahh's throughout the video.

As everyone started leaving Mike and I said our goodbye's to our guests and they left

happy and full.

Comments about the food ranged from outstanding to the best meal they had ever eaten.

The gardens were enjoyed and questions were asked and answered.

The pigs were petted and fed veggie scraps as clean up began and ended.

When Mike and I could take a breath again I think we were both in amazement that the

evening went so well.

After months of worrying I could finally relax.

Until next year.

The date is already set.

The whole evening was a team effort.

Mike and I didn't do it all on our own.

Many thanks to everyone involved are in order.

Megan, Steve, Hannah, Clay, Sam and countless others worked on this to make it happen.

Our neighbors all pitched in and helped make the ranch shine.

My mom allowed all of this craziness to happen on the ranch.

Pizza Carrello's Rachel and Arianne deserve a standing ovation as well as all of their

staff that worked so hard on creating such superb meal. Also thank you to

the guests that came and supported local food and helped us raise money for our local farmers'

market, our hats are off to you.

Planning for next year is already happening and Megan and I have big ideas.

I feel that we have set the bar really high and I hope we can out do our selves again

next year.

Now we're back to real life.

Market season still has 5 weeks to go.

We have a winter market to launch also.

Winter veggies need planted and summer veggies will need finished and cleaned up.

And I hope you'll be there for all of it.

Thanks for joining me in Our Wyoming Life.

Berkeley "Braces" For Ben Shapiro - Duration: 7:07.

Once in a awhile a little voice will pop in my head and say "Dave, are you sure you aren't

overblowing any of the big issues you talk about?

Maybe the threat to free speech really isn't so bad!

Maybe the assault on open discourse on college campuses isn't all that terrible!

Maybe most of mainstream media isn't simply pandering for clicks and views."

Then, and it NEVER fails, some current event takes place, reminding me the issues we're

talking about related to free speech are not only the most important issues of the day,

but perhaps we're actually underestimating the severity of them.

Without an absolute protection of free speech first, we can't have debates around any of

the other issues that might be important to you right now.

Care about Devos' comments on Title 9?

Trumps decision on DACA, or global warming as it related to the recent spate of hurricanes?

Your freedom of speech and of inquiry is what guarantees we can have discussions about those

issues and everything else.

Tomorrow, former Rubin Report guest and a friend of mine Ben Shapiro will be speaking

at UC Berkeley.

The Internet has been lit about the preemptive protests, counter-protests safe spaces, trigger

warnings for his event, even before the event has actually happened.

Sadly, in and of itself, none of this impending and hyped up chaos is new, so I wasn't planning

on addressing it before Ben even had the chance to speak.

Then I saw a tweet from the Los Angeles Times, and felt I needed to discuss it with you.

The tweet reads, "Berkeley braces for right wing talk show host Ben Shapiro visit."

Now this headline doesn't seem too bad on face value, actually it reads very similarly

to how much of mainstream news is published these days.

If you're looking for it though, and I know many of you are, the headline is actually

loaded a combination of subtle bias and outright Fake News.

"Berkeley braces" is an interesting choice of words -- usually in headlines we brace

ourselves for a hurricane, or other natural disaster.

The attempt here, of course, is to compare Shapiro's words with the same emotional weight

as a natural disaster which can actually end lives.

In a time right after two major storms, Hurricane Harvey and Hurricane Irma hit the United States,

this phrasing is particularly useful as we are all subconsciously are associating the

word 'brace' with death and destruction.

If you think I'm overstating the word 'brace' with hurricanes just do a google news search

for 'braces for Harvey' or 'braces for Irma' and see what pops up

Now the Los Angeles Time's reader knows something so horrible is coming that UC Berkely must

brace for it as it would for a deadly hurricane.

Next, they use the pejorative "right wing" to opine on Ben's talk show and his views.

Of course there's no doubt that as a conservative Ben's political views are on the right, but

there's something else when they say 'right wing.'

Virtually every time the mainstream media uses the phrase 'right wing', it is to paint

someone as either as scary, evil, or racist.

In and of itself being 'right wing' isn't bad, it's just a political view, one which

you may or may not agree with.

But here we now have students 'bracing' for this 'right wing' speaker.

Sounds scary, doesn't it?

Why does the mainstream media never label anyone or anything 'Left Wing' when they want

to scare you?

Has antifa been labeled Left Wing by the LA Times or CNN?

I searched LAtimes.com for those words together and unsurprisingly it has not.

While 'Right Wing' is a dog whistle for bad, and Left wing is just left out altogether

when it doesn't fit the correct narrative.

Did you see a headline in the LA Times or CNN that read "City Univeristy of New York

braces for Left Wing Activist Linda Sarsour?"

Of course you didn't, and I would argue that her ideas are far more dangerous than anything

Ben talks about.

If you think I'm being a bit melodramatic here, consider this: As long as the LA Times

is using colorful language with their headlines, why didn't they add a fun adjective before

UC Berkely.

I mean Berkely was once the home for free speech in America and now it is a cesspool

of left wing...see I can do it too...hate.

Why not say "Former School of Academic Freedom Berkely Braces for Right Wing Talk Show Host

Ben Shapiro?" or "Intolerant of Other Ideas Berkely Braces for Right Wing Talk Show Host

Ben Shapiro?"

Or even simply, and most honestly and directly if we're being fair to both sides..."Left

Wing Berkely braces for right wing talk show host Ben Shapiro."

Certainly that would be true at least.

But, their omission of one label while prescribing another one tells you all you need to know.

This headline, before Ben has even spoken, tells you a story alright, but it isn't the

one that the LA Times intended.

The headline tells you the story of the double standard with which mainstream conservatives

have to deal with, fueled by a media that enflames the situation when it comes to anyone

on the right, but largely ignores it when it comes to anyone on the Left.

This tricky use of words and selective writing is largely what people are talking about when

they talk about Fake News.

The media should be giving us facts straight up, not editorializing through headlines that

confused and conflate what's actually happening on the ground.

If you'd like to know more on how the media confuses us with headlines like this, check

out my discussion with Eric Weinstein on The Russell Conjugation, which we'll link to right

down below.

Ben is going to speak and say some things that will trigger people, not because they're

attacking individual people or because they're truly offensive, but more so because he's

challenging the Social Justice Warrior idoeology that has ransacked clear thinking on the college

campus in America.

If you don't like what he says write a paper about it, invite a counter speaker, or non-violently

protest in a way which allows the people who do want to hear him to have their right to

free speech, just as much as you want to have yours.

Headlines like this subtly excuse and actually help instigate violence towards anyone who

dare step out of group think.

I guarantee the ideas that Ben talks about tomorrow are in no way something you have

to brace for, and even less something you have to act violently towards.

Defending free speech as a college student now will help ensure that it will be defended

when you grow out of groupthink as an adult.

So instead of silencing speakers on campus perhaps do what you're supposed to in college

instead: listen to someone who thinks differently than you do.

This way you will learn how to think...and instead of having to brace yourself for bad

ideas, you can arm yourself with good ones.
