6 Crazy Bowser Jr. Boss-Encounters in Super Mario Maker. - Duration: 9:01.
Hello you lovely Mario Maker person my name is ceave and welcome back.
Bowser Jr. is one of my favorite entities in Super Mario Maker.
All you need to do is to build an interesting arena to fight in, place bowser Jr. inside
it and you got a great bossfight.
Today we are going to do exactly this, we will take a look at six different and crazy
arenas and contraptions for bowser jr boss fights.
So are you ready?
Let's do this!
Okay so we start in space today.
Mario wants to investigate bowsers space base to finally find out what's going on there,
sadly for him the only way to reach it is this dangerous shelmet taxi.
To make matters even worse our no plumber no more isn't the only passenger on this
dangerous vehicle as it looks as if bowser jr also bought a ticket.
Our italian jump and runner has to be careful to dodge the fireballs which bowser jr spits
towards him until the bowser jr problem solves itself.
Now Mario is finally able to further investigate bowsers space base … but that's a different
story for a different day.
The reason we were able to create such a dangerous shelmet taxi is because of this bullet blaster
layout, and such a dangerous shel-train could definitely be used for other crazy shenanigans.
But let's take a look on our next bowser jr boss fight.
For this bossfight we add a new point to our dangerous list of evil, because here mario
has to survive without leaving the mushroom corridor.
At the top and the bottom are four oneup mushrooms on tracks.
If mario is to the right of these mushrooms the floor disappears, but if mario is further
to the left the floor transforms into shiny yet evil coins as well.
So our brave ex-plumber has to stay inside the mushroom corridor in order to survive.
Sadly he not only has to stay in the corridor, but he also has to defeat Bowser Jr. before
the end of the stage appears since he needs the key which bowser jr owns.
Luckily for Mario bowser Jr. already took a hit by this small contraption when the stage
loaded, because otherwise it would be almost impossible for Mario to survive here.
But Mario is a legend, and he wins even this dangerous boss fight.
2 - 0 for Mario.
The don't leave the corridor contraption works because of a very simple trick.
There are thwomps and p-switches on tracks hidden outside of the current camera boundaries.
The thwomps are set at such a distance that they drop down as soon as mario isn't inside
the one-up corridor.
Next up Mario has to defeat the heir to the koopa throne in an arena with a twist.
While the ground can't disappear here for once, it's still dangerous because this
arena becomes smaller and smaller the longer the fight goes on.
While there is a lot of space to fight for our turtle and our former plumber in the beginning
the arena becomes smaller and smaller, until there is only a very small margin to fight
in the end.
This works because of a complicated timer setup at the top.
There are several track timer wired to bob omb hidden at the top, whenever one of these
timer expires a bullet blaster drops down.
The timer are set up in a way that they expire one after another.
Okay let's find out what bowser jr. prepared for fight number 4.
Here Mario faces bowser jr in the middle of an overgrown ghost house.
The fight would be pretty vanilla if it wasn't for the three bullet blasters which flutter
into the arena every once in awhile.
To make things even stranger the fluttering bullet blasters seem to change their behavior
after a while.
That's because of a small little trick.
The first fluttering bullet blasters is a huge enemy tower with a goomba shoe at the
bottom.
But after a while a shelmet timer expires which kills the goomba shoe at the bottom.
The next enemy in line to carry this huge contraption is a winged goomba shoe, who flutters
differently and changes the behavior of the bullet blasters.
Meanwhile our used to be plumber defeated bowser jr, only two fights to go, hooray!
For our next design we use schrödingers note block in order to create a horrific and bouncy
experience for Mario.
Mario finds himself on top of these bullet blasters which bounce around.
If Mario stays on top of the ground he's in danger because this makes the ceiling collapse,
and drops heavy munchers on top of mario.
So how is he supposed to survive here?
Well, he needs to make sure not to be on top of the bullet blasters when they hit the note
blocks.
This means that he needs to jump around like crazy while also fighting against bowser's
son.
No easy task at all.
But if there is anything Mario can do better than anybody else, it is jumping and because
of this he even survives this dangerous fight.
Okay so how does this work.
It's actually really simple the note blocks at the bottom contain munchers which trigger
p-switches when they are released.
The bounce part of a note block is always loaded, but the munchers can only drop down
when they are on screen, and are set at such a height that they are only on screen when
Mario doesn't jump.
So there is only one last bossfight left for Mario to survive, and he's done for this
week.
But bowser jr learned from his previous encounters with mario. he analyzed why he was defeated
over and over again, and came to a conclusion.
His weakness is his head.
If bowser jr made somehow sure that mario isn't able to hit his head, bowser jr would
probably become invincible.
And so bowser jr planned and planned until he came up with an answer to his problem.
all that he needs to do is to enclose himself inside a wall and mario can't jump on top
of him.
Wow Mario can't hurt bowser jr here all that he can, do is to wall jump towards him,
but this can't hit him.
But wait a moment, did this wall jump just activate a shelmet.
Is this a boss fight where wall-jumps are attacks.
It looks as if mario needs to wall jump five times towards bowser jr in order to defeat
him.
But there is another wall-jump wall to his left.
What happens if he jumps towards this area.
He is rewarded with a yum yum mushroom!
So it looks like bowser jr built a fair boss fight once again.
Why?
Bowser jr found a way to be sure to defeat Mario once and for all, but he decided to
built a fair fight once again.
We can only guess why he decided to do so, maybe he secretly likes mario, maybe he realized
that he isn't able to upload his levels if there is no way for mario to win, or maybe
he just made a mistake by accident.
We don't know, but what we do know is that mario manages to win even this fight.
Okay so why are wall jumps attacks here?
It's actually super simple.
There is a shelmet launcher hidden out of sight.
This launcher is unloaded if mario is inside the boss arena, but becomes loaded for a moment
when mario wall jumps, because when he wall jumps the launcher is close enough to mario
to become activated.
The shell then hits a block and disappears, but since the launcher is now unloaded again
it becomes resetted as soon as it is reloaded.
Loading is so cool!
Okay so that's basically it but before we end this little video we have to reveal last
week's magic trick and I've got a new trick for you.
So last week we took a look at these two platforms.
Both dropped down, but only one of the two got reloaded when mario left the area and
reentered it.
Many of you actually guessed right, the reason why this works is because one of the platforms
is caught by a track piece while the other one drops down.
If a platform is on a new track piece this information is stored when it is unloaded,
but if the platform disappears it is reloaded at the original track piece.
The reason why I show you this trick is because I'm almost certain that there is something
completely crazy possible with this little mechanic, and I actually wrapped my head around
what to do with this trick but I wasn't able to come up with something clever.
So if someone of you wants to toy around with this mechanic and stumbles upon something
cool leave me a level ID in the comments.
Okay so here we have a new small little mario maker trick.
At the top is a block on tracks in front of either a red or a green semi solid platform.
If Mario enters this area while the block is in front of the red platform the floor
disappears and our no plumber no more is no more, but if mario enters this area while
the block is in front of the green semi solid platform everything is fine and he is allowed
to run around in here as much as he desires.
I'll explain how this works at the end of our next video, but if someone of you wants

Once you get 'em out then you can see,
you can see what's in your head
and after you see that you start to go
oh, that, that resonates with me.
I can work deeper on that and then you just keep
asking questions about what you've gotten out.

TRIED to make Grace Helbig's Mac N Cheese Eggrolls... - Duration: 8:42.
I can read its cheat day and we're gonna experiment with Grace Helbig's mac and
cheese eggrolls. I'm gonna step some egg rolls and spring rolls with macaroni and
cheese and create what I'm calling MAC AH GEEZ ROLLS. I'm gonna make it with Danny
Danny's gonna try and redeem himself from from blue apron days no no that is
dangerous yeah how do you do this don't look at me if you haven't seen the blue
