Waching daily Sep 14 2017

And now we're going to school again.

Are you excited?

Yeah...

School...

Yeah, today I'm going to town hall and talking with the mayor a bit.

I'm excited.

But...

I don't have any grades here, so it's a little different.

We're going to town hall!

Yeah!

We're meeting the....

Yeah, Mayor.

Here, this is better.

So yeah, we're all very excited.

We still have ten minutes to walk around,

You can take photos. If you have any questions, ask.

Where are the bathrooms?

I'll come too, but in Germany, the bathroom almost always costs money.

You'll need 50 cents.

A lot of Americans find the Nürnberger coat of arms very interesting.

There's no censor in Nuremberg.

One sees everything.

That is the coat of arms.

That's kind of funny, right?

A tour.

And if you look at the area, here where these big stones are, stood a church as well.

They were not always rebuilt.

Here, you can see a building that never stood there.

It was built later.

One sees old buildings, new, new new... a bit older.

But, one can see a bit of Nuremberg before.

An artist of Germany...

From politicians, kings, emperors...

And then, an artist in the city...

Only an artist?

Uh... he painted...

He also invented mass production.

These stairs are very small.

Now we're climbing—

—But people were very small... in the Middle Ages and so on, people were smaller than we are now.

Now we're higher.

And...

Oh, here is a garden.

And we went through this area.

Now we're here.

Now we'll walk back here, there are bathrooms and the most beautiful view in Nuremberg.

I will be the star of your film.

Oh yeah.

Good.

Very beautiful.

That's something that I want.

[That's where] Albrecht Duerer lived and worked for very long. (Not the tower)

You can also visit there.

It's still a nominal stop.

And...?...see the neighborhood.

A beautiful view and also very interesting.

Albrecht Durer lived in there?

There's also his wife, she lived there as well.

These days, they give tours and show them the history of Albrecht Durer.

Agnes. Can anyone guess where Agnes is?

She is inside there.

So now I'm going home.

We went to the town hall, so now I have to go try to get home by myself.

So, I think I know the way, but I'm not sure. But, it's not that far from the school.

So...yeah.

The geocache is very close.

Oh, what's that?

I haven't seen that before...

Oh, there it is...yeah...

Oh, and it has my gnome in it again...or already.

So yeah, we came here, but I didn't film. So now we're here again, and there is my gnome.

So hopefully, it can come back to America.

Hello, now it's night five I think. Yeah, five.

So, I was a bit tired the last couple of nights because we came back home very late.

So, I didn't make a video, but today, we were home after school, and then we ate dinner and then...yeah, so it's very early now.

Now, I received more Haribo, so now I have a lot of candy to eat.

And they taste really good.

And then, in school today, we we went to an English class and spoke with little kids in English. So, that was very funny.

So, that was a lot of fun.

And then tomorrow, I go to school and have a full day ther. And then on Wednesday, we're going to Regensburg.

So I'm excited for that.

And then I'm very excited to go to Berlin next week.

I can barely believe that it's only the fifth night, because it feels a bit longer.

And I have about a month, three weeks or so.

It's very good here—it's very different. We eat dinner a lot later than in America.

Today, we ate dinner at 9:00, so that's very late for me. And that's normal (for this family).

And also, we eat a lot of bread and pretzels. It's a little funny because—

—people think, "German people eat only pretzels and only drink beer, and wear Lederhosen".

But, I ate a pretzel for dinner—not tonight—but, last... for dinner. And then for breakfast on Saturday.

But... I think that's all for today. So, hopefully, this video will be very good, and you can see a piece of Germany.

So until then...

Bye!

Good night!

Books for Kids: This is How We Do It - Duration: 2:42.

Hi guys its Carrie Anne from EverythingMom and today's book pick is the picture

book This is How We Do It. The day of the lives of seven kids from around the

world. We base our knowledge on the world we live in and we do it our kids do it.

So the one thing I love about travel and we talk about travel on this site on

Thursdays but one thing I like about travel is it opens your mind to things

that may be different from what you are familiar with. This is How We Do It

basically follows these seven families through their day, from getting up in the

morning and eating their breakfast. How they get to school. What they do in

school. What their classroom, like how they learn in school. What they do for

play. How they help out at home if they have chores. How they spend their evening.

When you're reading you will see words that are underlined like plantains when

they're talking about what they eat in Peru.

These underlined words indicates that at the back of the book there is a glossary.

Perhaps these are new words so better explain what those words may be. I also

love no matter how different a day in the life of these children are around

the world they have the same sort of night sky, they see the same moon and

it just kind of brings in that reminder that yes there are differences

but we are sort of all part of the same Earth together. So I think that was a

nice kind of way to wrap it up. This week's book pick, This Is How We Do It, is

a great book to remind kids that the the way they go about their day may be very

different from other kids around the world. It opens their mind. It helps to

expand a child's understanding and acceptance of the world as a bigger part

and that I think is an important gift to give to kids. I'll be sure to include

a link below to the full review of the book as well as how you can get your own

copy of it to add to your library. Don't forget to give this little thumbs up if

you liked this video found it helpful like to see more videos like it. As

always you can find me here on Wednesdays talking books for kids but

I'm also here talking family travel, mom confessions, and other fun family stuff.

So don't forget to subscribe so you know when the next video is published and

until next time, ciao.

Roxy Reyes and Nadia Aboulhosn Talk Body Positivity and Spirit Animals | GOOD AMERICAN - Duration: 1:04.

My spirit animal is a cat. I like knock things over, I'm sassy sometimes...

You're like, "Pay attention to me" and then when they pay attention you're like

That's exactly me.

Yeah, yeah, I totally see that.

My go-to workout workouts... Go-to workouts man...

I love weights. My fav would absolutely be like leg

workouts, I love doing like lunges, and squads, working on cardio-- I hate cardio.

I could do cardio all day I like those frog leg jumps, I like

those a lot, get my butt nice and tight.

The moment I realized I love my body I

was probably like 17. I fully stopped caring about what people thought about

me, and I've always had like a bigger lower half and a smaller top.

My body cause it's my body, and it's not theirs.

You know, you get tired of like, always

doing what people want you to do and eventually I was just like, man I was

like so unhappy I just like I'm just and do what makes me happy and then from

then on it was just like, you know confidence caught up.

Yeah, just look at yourself in the mirror like, "I'm a badass."

And then blow a kiss be like, yeah.

Manifest Creative Episode #8 - How to Manifest a Healthy Body - Duration: 13:00.

Hey, Everyone! Welcome along to this episode of 'Manifest Creative' - the place

where we manifest your life creatively. My name is Kathryn Eggins and today I

would love to talk about how to manifest a healthy body or to even just manifest

the body that you want. Now, I'll start by saying part of this may be very

confronting if you're currently in a place where you're not happy with your

body or your health is not that great. This may trigger you, this information but I

can honestly tell you I have been there. I know what it's like. I know what it's

like to be really unwell. I was like that for eighteen years and through following

this technique, I've turned my life around. I've gone from being very

sick to being very well so I'm very excited to share this with you and I

truly hope that you do take it on board and you can start taking steps to turn

your health around. Now my story quickly was, I had stage four endometriosis for

eighteen years. Now when you're diagnosed with that, you're told it's incurable and

that's where the mindset starts...that it's incurable,

I'll have this for the rest of my life and if you stay in that then you can

never get better. You've really got to look outside of that so it's going, 'Okay,'

respecting the doctors opinion but going, 'Yes. Okay. I'm going to work on my mindset,'

because that's where it all starts - mindset doing the inner work, and that's

the whole thing with manifesting, it doesn't matter what you want to manifest

it all starts with the inner work so that's what we're going to look at today.

Now, I eventually after 18 years, got fed up with being sick, fed up with

carrying around emotional trauma and I went and saw a kinesiologist, and that's

who helped me through. It was this wonderful woman by the name of Marion

and she got me through it but it was also that I was at a point where I was

ready to actually hear what she had to say and to take responsibility for my

health. Your health, really the way it's working out, the way your life is

working out...that is all your responsibility and the moment that you

take 100% responsibility for it and go, 'Hey, you

know what...I've created all of this, but I have the power to change it all!'

that's when your life starts to change, too. So step one - take responsibility. Now,

the next one is to actually get to the reason why you have this illness. Now, for

me it was an emotional trauma that happened when I was 20 and it was a form

of abandonment so I carried that with me, of living in the past and waiting for

things to change, hoping for things to change, saying, 'Why me?'

Living in victim mode until I found the gift! Once I found the gift in it and

it was actually the thing of... there are certain people in

your life that they need to move away from you and...this happened to

me and it was like, 'Why me?' and 'Why is this happening to me?' but life

happens for you it doesn't happen to you and the gift for me was the growth that I

got from it and the strength, so regardless of what your situation is,

have a look at why...whether it's abandonment or not feeling worthy or

doing too much for people...this is a great one of giving too much of yourself

and not receiving. If you just give, give, give, give all the time then you've got

nothing for yourself. You need to replenish yourself as well so make sure

if you're a giver that you do actually allow yourself to

receive and allow other people to give to you. So, this happens a lot with women

where they give to their children and their husband and

everybody else comes first and then they pick up the scraps at the end.

Whatever's left. You actually need to take time out for yourself and to do

things for yourself. Now, I've seen people who have passed on from having cancer

and they were givers and they just gave all the time. They never actually

allowed themselves to receive and then there are other people who have actually

gone, 'You know what...I'm there for you but I need to do this for me first.'

It's the classic thing when you're on an aeroplane and they say. 'Put your mask on

first.' In case of and emergency put yours on first and

then attend to other people. It's the same thing. The thing that's

come up a lot when I've done talks on this is, 'Oh, but that's being very selfish!'

We're taught that it's not right to be selfish. It's selfish to be

selfish! When in actual fact, you need to have some form of selfishness in that

you need to look out for yourself first and that comes with tuning in...of actually

tuning in and going...if somebody says, 'Can you help me with this?'...tune in

and see if it feels right for you because if you want if you say yes to

somebody else you don't want to be saying no to yourself, so just ask

yourself, 'Am i saying no to myself if I say yes to them?' and if it is a case of

saying no then you're within your rights to say no to that person. They will find

their way and they will find another way. They're not relying wholly and

solely on you and once you realize that it is okay look out for

yourself and that could be something as simple as going. 'Hey, I've set

aside this time for me to actually sit down and read a book and that's what I

really want to do.' If that's what you want to do then do that because you need

to look after your soul and a lot of illness comes from not looking after

your soul. Not listening to your soul...not doing what makes you happy

and it's staying in a job that you don't like, staying in a relationship that's

not going very well...and that's a whole other video that one because

you've got to actually get to the bottom of why something's not working

rather than just leave it because otherwise you're just taking that

baggage with you, but we'll talk about that another time

but you want to listen to your soul and do what's right for your soul

because otherwise you do get sick. Ailments with the throat...they can

be from not speaking up, not speaking your mind but it can also be judgment of

yourself or judgment of somebody else...so once you get in tune with your body and

what you're thinking and feeling and how things are affecting you and if you're

being true to yourself, then you can start to get on top of your health. Now,

the next thing that you want to do after you found the gift and you've got to the

bottom of why you're not well, is a aligning yourself with health. Now, one of

the things when I was unwell was I was actually scared of being well. It sounds

like a really strange thing but now that I think back, when I was unwell

I had an excuse, I had a reason...I didn't have to commit to anything. There was no

responsibility whatsoever and it was a safety net so that if somebody asked me

to commit to something...'Could you do this? Would you like

to do this?' I could very well go, 'No, I'm sorry. I don't know how I'm going to

feel...There may not be a chair there to sit down on,' and things like this and I

was afraid that when I took that safety net away, that if I was well, then

I would have to make these commitments and I'd have to take responsibility and

that was a really big deal...that kept me unwell because I looked forward to

having this safety net, but then once I found the alignment...now, this is the

interesting part with the alignment was my kinesiologist, Marion, she asked me the

question, 'Do you like being sick?' and initially I thought, 'That's a really

silly question...who likes being sick?' and she said, 'I know it sounds silly but

really have a think about it...do you like being sick?' So, I tuned in...it was one of

the very first times that I'd really turned in around being unwell and I said,

'You know what...I do like being sick!' and it was because of all those things...it

was the safety net things but I was also to the point where I was fed up with

being sick and I just wanted to be well and as soon as I had that realization I

felt a shift a physical shift go across my body and from that point on I could

feel my body healing. Now, if I hadn't have experienced it I probably wouldn't

have believed it but that is how quickly you can manifest something...how quickly

you can turn something around is by simply changing your alignment...to go

from being aligned with being unwell to being aligned with being well and

when you're aligned, it's a done deal... that's it...that's how it is...whatever

you're aligned with, that's how it is. So, you can turn your health around but you have

to want to...You have to get to the bottom of

how it's serving you...what benefit are you getting out of being sick? What's

caused it in the first place? What do you need to deal with and finding the gift

in why this has happened to you and what you've learned from it and how you can

grow from it and allow yourself to move on...allow yourself to be well...I

saw it a lot when I was personal training that's as soon as people...and

even with my yoga classes...as soon as people start to make progress they put

up a roadblock because there's a fear of... gee, they might actually achieve good

health or they might actually master what they're doing and

all of a sudden they'll catch a cold or be sick for a few

weeks and so they go back to where they were...it's all to do with comfort zone, so

if you really tune in, really ask yourself a lot of questions and get to

the bottom of why you're sick because nature...if you if you look at nature...if

you look out there and you look at the animals...everything is all

balanced...it all just works and this is the thing is that we are a product of

nature...your body is a product of nature so why should things be difficult? Man

makes things difficult and man is looking for all the answers externally

when all the answers are internal so when you can grasp that and you can take

responsibility and start being honest with yourself as to what's going on in

your inner world...when you do that and you do the inner work, everything else

just falls into place. Now, you need to take aligned action and that kind of

thing...so with exercise...honestly, exercise doesn't have to be this brutal

thing...if that's not your thing of going hard and doing really hard exercise then

that's fine because you want to do things that you enjoy, that push your

comfort zone a little bit but that you actually enjoy doing and when you

exercise in an aligned way, it's no effort at all. Yes, you're

putting in effort...you need to put in effort and push your comfort zone

boundaries to actually get results but it's no effort at all...the

aligned action just flows...it's you want to do it and you want to be well and you

want to eat well and you want to exercise and once

you're in it, it's just so amazing but getting to that point you really need to

do that inner work and you have to want it...let me know your thoughts...I'd love to

hear from you...leave some comments below and I'll come back later and check them.

If you've got any questions, please ask because this is one area that I'm

really passionate about because I have had such amazing results...I honestly

didn't know when I was unwell that you could be so well and this was another

thing, too...that once I did actually start to heal and recover...I was part of a

support group that I really needed at the time that I was unwell but

once I started to get well, I actually had to move away from that support group

because I wanted to be here and they wanted to stay here and it didn't matter

how much I spoke to different people saying, 'Hey! You know...this can...if you try

this, it can help you to get well!' and all that...they wanted to stay

here...they actually ran away from me! Even though I was just so passionate about it...I

just really wanted to help them...I wanted for them what I was achieving for myself

but they just weren't ready for it so I had to let them be...but for me that meant

moving away from them...so you may even need to look at that...if you're part of a

support group and you want to be well, you need to move away from that support

group and then start being around the people who you want to be like and this

is the thing, you can't stay with the people that are holding you back...you've

got to move on with the people who are where you want to be...so let me know your

thoughts...I'd love to hear from you and I shall see you next time...Bye!

(Hidden) Truth About Starting A New Business - Duration: 9:45.

- Hey guys.

So today I really wanted to have a very open

and honest conversation about entrepreneurship,

especially for someone that is looking to start a business

or who maybe already has started something

and they're more so in a side hustle,

meaning that they're still working full time

and they're trying to get the business off the ground

on the side.

'Cause here's the thing: we hear a lot of the positive sides

of it and the inspirational sides of it,

and honestly, I'm guilty of that, too,

'cause I do talk about a lot of that,

especially on my blog and on my YouTube channel,

Dream with Intent, but there is the other,

I guess you could say the slightly darker side to it,

meaning that with a business,

it's not always all rainbows and butterflies,

with things just going perfectly all the time.

There is a really hard side to this, too,

and that's what I want to discuss today.

So no fancy video editing, no music,

none of this stuff.

I want to have a real and honest and real conversation

about entrepreneurship.

'Cause here's the thing: this is the one thing

that absolutely drives me crazy, especially when you see

these Facebook ads about how people can start a business

in their first month and start making like $5,000

or $10,000 and whatnot,

and honestly, I find that a little mind blowing

'cause I don't understand how that's possible.

Especially for somebody that is completely brand new

to business.

I am talking about at a point where you are a baby at this.

No, you know what, forget baby.

You're literally an embryo, meaning that you have

no information, or knowledge I should say,

on how to actually get a business going,

where to start, what it is you need to do and whatnot.

So how is it that you're expected to make that kind of money

the moment you start off?

I mean you're starting off with not having any clue

about landing pages or a payment system

or website creation or any of that stuff.

I mean forget that, I mean that's even a little bit

higher level.

I'm talking about even something like domain name

and you pretty much get that deer in headlights look

of what the hell did you say?

(chuckles)

So yeah, I just kind of find it a little mind blowing

on how is it that people are expected to accomplish that

and why is it that we don't talk about the real truth,

the honest and real truth about what it really means

to be an entrepreneur or what it really means

when you start a business.

'Cause here's the reality of it.

And let's see, how do I compare this?

I think you guys might like this example.

Okay, so just bear with me here.

So imagine that you decided that hey,

you love the idea of baking, and you want to learn

how to bake a cake.

But you have no idea where to start,

'cause you've never done this before,

this is something that is completely fresh and new

and it is something that you're totally clueless about.

So when it comes to baking a cake or just creating cake

in general, you know that there are so many different

varieties of cake, there's so many different ingredients

that you can use, I mean you can customize it,

whatever way that you want.

But end of it, there are two main things

they need to have, which is your main ingredient,

whether it's something you're using with flour

or going flourless and something to actually bake it in,

meaning your baking pan.

So those two are basically your main things

that you have to have in order for you to be able

to create this cake and the rest of it,

just like a business, where you have your basic items

that you need to have and the rest where you can

fully, fully customize and make it your way.

With the cake it works the same way.

So now that you realize that okay, I wanna get started,

but what do I do next?

'Cause there's so many different ways that you

can go about this.

You can maybe call up your mom or your aunt

or find a family member and get a recipe

to figure out what to do.

Or maybe you could go on Google and get a recipe

or go on an app.

I mean there's so many different ways

you could possibly do this, or completely create one

off the top of your head and just go nuts

and customizing it, whatever way that you want.

But end of the day, there's different options,

there's different ways that you can do this

and no way is exactly right, meaning that if you

only do it this way, that will the cake turn out

absolutely perfect.

That's not true, right?

Like I said, there's so many different ingredients,

there's so many different ways you could possibly do this.

It's the same thing with the business,

because there's no exact plan.

Like down to the t of this is what you need to do

in order to have a perfectly successful business

within a timeframe of one year.

There's no crazy plan out there like that,

I mean every business is different and it also depends.

What kind of business are you gonna have?

Are you doing something product related

or service related or who knows what?

I mean it's really up to you on which way,

again, you want to customize your business.

But we don't really talk about that part,

now do we, about how hard it really can be,

'cause same thing with the cake, when you first start off,

now again mind you, you've never done this before

so this is your very first attempt at it.

It's not like when you start baking that cake,

suddenly you're gonna create this seven-tier cake

all fancy and nicely decorated and next think you know

you have a line out the door with everyone that's like

giving you money 'cause they wanna purchase it.

Of course it's not gonna happen, it's your very first

attempt at a cake.

You probably will burn it or god knows what

or maybe you might luck out and it turns out

absolutely amazing.

But again, it's probably not going to be

that insane, seven-tier cake or again if we compare this

to a business, it's not like the first year

it's totally possible to have that multi-multi-million

dollar business.

It's gonna take time, and granted, yes,

there's some people out there that could end up

just making that seven-tier cake 'cause of some

amazing talent or luck or whatnot

so there's always an exception, but for a majority of us

I think we kinda fall in that other bucket

of where you need to practice and try

and keep improving on and the reason that you're doing that

is because this is something that you really wanna try,

it's something that you're passionate about.

You know that eventually you will get that cake right.

Just like your business.

It will be hard, but eventually, eventually you will

get it right.

It will start giving you results.

It will start becoming successful,

but it's not gonna happen the moment you immediately start.

We need to stop with that crazy expectation.

I mean I'm not saying don't have expectation

of being successful, I'm just saying don't have

the expectation that the moment you go live

and again, with not having business experience or whatsoever

that suddenly day one, boom, it just takes off.

Unless you have some crazy luck, like I said,

probably luckier than a lottery winner for something

like that to work out.

So if you're wondering why is it that we're having

this conversation today, it's because I want us

to be real about this.

If you're going to pursue a business, realize that

it is going to be a bit of a tough journey,

maybe for some much tougher than compared to others

and for others maybe it's a little bit easier.

But end of the day, there are going to be failures,

there are going to be struggles, there are gonna be

these amazing, amazing moments too where things

will just work out perfectly.

But it's not the easiest road to travel on.

So if you're going to go the route of the entrepreneurship

path, then realize there will be some pain along the way

and that is perfectly fine.

But does that mean that just because you're gonna

experience some pain and there will be struggles

along the way that you don't do it?

Of course not.

If this is what you're feeling deep in your heart,

then yes, go for it, a hundred percent.

I don't ever want you to look back and feel

that regret of why didn't I do this.

Here I am thinking oh my god, I have all this regret

built up in me because I should've done this

five years ago, 10 years ago, 20 years ago,

I mean who knows, right?

'Cause there's always the potential of what if.

But until you try, until you really give it

that hundred percent, it's hard to say

will this work out or will it not work out?

But is it worth that try?

Abso-fricken-loutely.

So I hope that you will join me on this journey

and really take your business

and get it started and look, I said even if you start it off

as a side hustle, totally fine,

but give it that hundred percent.

Don't give up just because it doesn't instantly take off.

It will take time, and you will get there,

just have some faith, have some trust

in yourself that you can do this.

And I know you can do it.
