Kelly Cook "When we reached out to our members on social media, they told us we needed to

have a better assortment and that we should we call it something different,. This decision

was also heavily influenced by the fact that there's a solid trend on the market around

diversity promotion and body positivity." Fabulously sized" clothing accounts for 21

percent of Kmart women's sales, which makes sense when you consider that the average American

woman is between a size 16 and 18.  ***But this is K-Mart which is on the verge of disappearing,

so you'll only be fabulous for a short while – so take advantage of it while you can

before you're forced to go back to Walmart and their plus-sized clothing.

Whether it's the result of a solid economy or simple generosity, the Tooth Fairy is slipping

a lot of money under pillows in exchange for baby teeth. The nationwide average in 2016

was $4.66 per tooth, up 19 percent from the $3.91 she gave in 2015 and up a staggering

93 percent from the $2.42 she gave in 2012. That's the word from the annual Tooth Fairy

Cheapest way to make silicone molds at home - Duration: 11:19.

First I painted the form with spray paint to make the wood less porous

After the paint has dried I mixed 100%silicone caulk with wheat flour

Then I begin making the mold by presing the mixture around the form

After about 3 hours when the silicone has cured I start mixing some plaster of paris and hemp fibers to make the outside mold

I applied some oil, but that's not really necessary

Then I applied the plaster over the silicone mold, this will keep the mold together during the pouring process

Once a half of the mold it's done I'm making the other half

With a little bit of persuasion from the rubber hammer I removed the outside mold

Then I cut the silicone mold so I can get it out of the form

Here I oiled the mold so I can pour the plaster of paris for the piece that I want to make

I used some painters tape to put the mold together

Here I used grease to make a seal between the mold and the laminated board, but it works fine just with oil

I vibrated the mold so any air bubbles should rise to the top

The piece it's done!!! :)

Today, 15th of september, is its second anniversary

It feels like it was yesterday, doesn't it? Time flies.

Undertale was a great game. One of the best ones I played.

It had a really interesting concept...

... a lot of amazing characters, and a story that touched my heart.

And the OST was amazing, too. Toby did a great job.

... and yet a lot of people only focus on Sans and Megalovania.

It's a shame, honestly.

But I'm not here to talk about that today.

Undertale inspired a lot of people, including myself.

People of this fandom did amazing things.

Art, music, animations, comics, fanfics...

I'm sure a lot of you already know of Alternate Universes.

There are so many, and some are really creative and so well done.

Some of them are even getting fangames.

Cool, isn't it?

I want to say something to all the Undertale content creators.

You're doing a good job. Don't give up.

Be respectful with the rest of the community and their own creations.

And never fell under the temptation of stealing someone else's art.

We can keep the fandom an awesome place together.

I was very blessed to be born into a loving Christian family, but even though

my parents were devout Christians and I went to church every Sunday, I didn't

feel like God was in my life. Going to church was just a weekly routine for me.

I didn't understand why they forced us to memorize Bible verses in Sunday

school. I hated memorizing things. I'm a forgetful person. Whenever they made us

recite versus, I would cram it into my head moments before, recite it to make them

happy, and then forget the verse immediately. In elementary school I would

desperately try to fit into a group of girls because I wanted to feel included.

But hanging out with them made me feel even more alone than I was before

simply because pretending to be another person made me feel trapped in another

person's body unable to be myself. Most of my friends during that time were not

Christians and because of that they became bad influences who made me drift

farther away from Christ as a years flew by. Three years ago the closest person I

knew died from Alzheimer's and Parkinson's. This was around my 14th

birthday, two months before Easter. I blamed God for his death. And because of

this, I didn't like going to church anymore. I'd only go when my parents

dragged me to go. I was angry and depressed. And this led me to self-harm

and even think of suicide. Then two years ago my dad invited me to go to an Easter

Friday program. At first I was reluctant to go to this because I was still angry

at God for his death and it was only a couple months after the anniversary of

the day he passed. But something sparked inside of me making me go to the program.

As I was there listening to the sermon, nothing really stood out to me, to be

honest. But it was the altar called that did. Basically an altar call is a time

when a speaker invites those who feel compelled to make a commitment to Jesus

to come forward publicly in response and receive prayer. When the speaker called

us to come up I had the most uncomfortable feeling in my heart. It's

not a feeling that I can really describe, but it bothers me so much. It was God

calling me. I think it was that moment that it

truly hit me: I've done so much wrong in my life; I'm a sinner and I can't save

myself, it's only through Jesus that I can be saved the death of my sin hit me

so hard and I'm so broken at the realization of how much I had been

wronging God. But at the same time, God made me realize how much He loves me. And

that He loves me so much that He sent His Son to die for me. When I realized

this amount of love, it scared me a little bit. With that in mind I walked to

the front of the sanctuary and a counselor prayed for me there. I then

felt a burden lifted off my shoulders. She prayed for me because I was scared

because I was and still am a sinner. In that moment I knew and trusted Jesus

Christ as my Lord and Savior. I realized that He was the only reason that I could

ever be saved. And as we prayed, I repented for how sinful I was and still

am. We prayed for forgiveness and for His love to shine upon me. And for the first

time in weeks I felt peace. God had taken away all my worries and anxieties. And

after that prayer, that uncomfortable feeling was gone from my heart and

instead it was filled with happiness and love. God worked in my heart that night

and to this day I still remember that feeling of relief and peace with God

despite not having a good memory to remember things usually. Ever since that

day my relationship with God has been growing deeper but is still a work in

progress. During my first semester of high school I was going through a lot of

struggles. I had a loaded semester with all my mandatory courses and I ended up

putting God on hold instead of making him my first priority. But because of his

sister in Christ, she reminded me to find my trust in him again for all my needs.

I'm so thankful to God for this caring sister. I'm also very thankful to him for

giving me a group of amazing sisters in Christ who are always there for me when

I need them. These girls have helped me through everything by always helping me

turn my focus back to God again no matter the problem. However things

haven't always been easy or perfect since accepting Christ. I still often

struggle with being a true disciple of Jesus and fall back into worldly sin. But

through this I've realized that a relationship with God is

an ongoing thing there are highs and there are lows, but I'm working every day

to strengthen my relationship with God. And I'm learning to rely him more

every day. But here's the bottom line at the end of all of this, no matter how

imperfect I am God loves me more and he'll never abandon me.

  Facebook has said it will restrict how advertisers target their audiences on the social network after a report said some were able to seek out self-described "Jew haters." In a statement dated Thursday, the company also said it would prevent users from indicating what type of ads they would like to see in an attempt to curb hate speech, adding that it had "no place on our platform." The moves came in response to a ProPublica investigation that revealed that Facebook's self-service ad-buying platform allowed advertisers to direct ads to the newsfeeds of about 2,300 users who said they were interested in anti-Semitic subjects.

Reporters from ProPublica tested Facebook advertising categories to see whether they could buy ads aimed at Facebook users who expressed interest in topics like "Jew hater," "How to burn jews," and "History of 'why jews ruin the world.

'" The reporters paid $30 to ensure groups affiliated with these anti-Semitic categories saw promoted ProPublica posts in their Facebook news feeds.

Facebook approved the posts within 15 minutes, according to the ProPublica investigation.

The social network said Friday that its community standards "strictly prohibit attacking people based on their protected characteristics, including religion, and we prohibit advertisers from discriminating against people based on religion and other attributes."   Facebook added that "to help ensure that targeting is not used for discriminatory purposes, we are removing these self-reported targeting fields until we have the right processes in place to help prevent this issue."     The news comes as Facebook faces scrutiny for its role in the 2016 presidential election in the United States.

Last week its representatives briefed the Senate and House intelligence committees, which are investigating Russian intervention in the election.

The company told congressional investigators that it had identified more than $100,000 worth of ads on hot-button issues directed by a Russian company with links to the Kremlin.

Representatives from Facebook said the company had sold the ads to a pro-Kremlin Russian company that was seeking an audience of voters in the United States during last year's election campaign.

The ads — about 3,000 of them — focused on divisive topics like gay rights, gun control, race and immigration, and they were linked to 470 fake accounts and pages that it subsequently took down, according to Facebook's chief security officer.

The Food Court Matures Into the Food Hall

  Determined to provide experiences that will attract consumers and persuade them to open their wallets, developers are opening more food halls, the food court's up-and-coming sibling, which are in the midst of a robust expansion.

Unlike food courts made up of fast food chains, food halls typically mix local artisan restaurants, butcher shops and other food-oriented boutiques under one roof.

Many celebrate quirkiness versus uniformity, and their ability to draw crowds is particularly appealing to landlords battling the growth of e-commerce and changing shopping habits.

"Food halls are a place where there's life and there's buzz," said David LaPierre, vice chairman of the global retail services team at CBRE, a commercial real estate services firm.

"It's a real social environment where people want to be." In Downtown Brooklyn, the DeKalb Market Hall food hall opened recently in the basement of City Point, a retail, entertainment and restaurant project spanning six levels on the former site of the Albee Square Mall.

Traffic for the food hall ramps up primarily in the lunch and dinner hours, and some spills into the rest of the mall, said Christopher Conlon, chief operating officer for City Point's developer, Acadia Realty Trust, a retail property investor based in Rye, N.Y.

"DeKalb Market Hall has already had a tremendous impact on tenant traffic in the upper levels," he said.

"But we also have space on the ground floor still to lease, and the interest driven by the excitement surrounding the food hall has been just as tremendous." At 36,000 square feet, the food hall features 40 vendors, including the first Katz's Deli outside Manhattan and a few Foragers Market concepts operated by Anna Castellani, who worked with Acadia Realty to select the tenants and manage DeKalb Market.

A 7,500-square-foot entertainment venue opening this fall will extend food hall business hours past midnight, Mr Conlon said.

    Food halls have been around for years, especially in Europe.

But the concept is becoming increasingly popular in the United States as consumers demand healthier and better-tasting "quick casual" food options in entertaining environments, observers say.

The number of food halls operating in the United States is expected to exceed 200 in 2019, about double the number that were open in late 2016, said Pamela Flora, director of research for Cushman & Wakefield.

That would also be a roughly 700 percent increase since 2010, according to research compiled by the brokerage firm.

Food halls are not just for retail outlets, however.

Pinnacle Red Group, based in San Jose, Calif., plans to put a small one on the ground floor of a planned residential and office tower in downtown Oakland.

The developer hopes to leverage a bustling street and nearby transportation hubs to create a regional destination, said Ronnie Turner, development manager for the firm.

In downtown Chicago, the 15-vendor Revival Food Hall opened last year on the ground floor of a 110-year-old, 20-story office building designed by Daniel Burnham.

The food hall's developer, Craig Golden, is finishing a renovation of the property, now known as the National.

He and the restaurateur Bruce Finkelman worked as partners on Revival, which features taco, seafood, poke bowl and other restaurants as well as a book and record shop.

"We wanted to bring in what we thought was the best food in the city," said Mr Golden, whose Blue Star Properties portfolio includes a number of restaurants and entertainment venues.

"When people come downtown to work, the choices are limited." Food halls are still so new that they lack a standard template for success, said Philip Colicchio, a food and beverage consultant in New York, who has added food halls to his chef and hotel client list.

The properties range from 5,000 square feet to more than 40,000 square feet, and developers can choose to lease out and operate a food hall themselves, collaborate with a local restaurateur to vet vendors and potentially manage it, or lease to one operator and let it find tenants and run the place.

"The good news is that there are some terrific vendors that can provide great food and beverage in food halls," said Mr Colicchio, who is consulting on food halls in Cincinnati, San Francisco and the Bahamas.

"What does not yet exist is a deep talent pool of management." The management piece will become critical as the concept matures, competition increases and vendors fail, he added.

When developers accelerated the food hall boom a few years ago, consumers were spending as much or more on eating out than at grocery stores.

But a glut of new restaurants and a change in consumer spending habits have dinged the industry.

Same-store restaurant sales dropped 2.8 percent in July and have been relatively flat or down for about a year, according to the latest report by TDn2K, which tracks weekly sales from 28,5000 restaurants.

Against that unnerving backdrop, developers of large, full-blown food halls can expect to spend at least $200 a square foot to provide expensive infrastructure like venting for open-flame cooking, Mr Golden said.

Alternatively, developers can seek vendors that prepare food off site to simplify operations and minimize costs.

Smaller food halls with seven to 10 vendors are popping up with more regularity, too, Ms.

Flora said.

Despite the operating and cost variations, most food halls are focused on bringing in local or regional chefs and incorporating a bar into the mix.

And if the bar has outdoor seating and can provide nighttime entertainment, all the better, Mr Colicchio said.

Developers establishing food halls with those themes include North American Properties, which bought the 1970s-era Colony Square mixed-use project in Atlanta two years ago.

It will soon begin demolishing a food court to make way for a food hall that will feature up to 15 vendors and emphasize live entertainment and other events.

"It's less about bringing people onto the property to drive retail and more about being a place where people can come and commune," said Mark Toro, a managing partner for North American Properties.

Food halls are beginning to migrate to the suburbs, and although observers expect more growth in those environments — and eventually malls — they wonder if enough demand exists to support food halls in those locations.

Bayer, the chief executive of Bayer Properties, a mixed-use developer based in Birmingham, Ala., is betting there is.

This month, Bayer Properties will hold the grand opening of the Barn, a 10-vendor food hall at the Summit at Fritz Farm, its new retail, office, residential and hotel development seven miles southwest of downtown Lexington, Ky.

The food hall will serve as an anchor for the development, which is across the street from a successful regional mall, near the University of Kentucky, and surrounded by housing and retail, he said.

"I, for one, don't believe that the whole world is moving back to the central core," Mr Bayer said.

Dom McKay musculoskeletal therapist today i'm going to show you how to treat

your ITB now if you're suffering from ITB syndrome so pain down the outside of

the thigh and into the outside of the knees then this video will be very

helpful so we're going to be targeting not only the ITB but also the lateral

quad so the outside quads and your TfL your tensor fasciae latae muscles which

is really the main bulk of the journey when it comes to ITB syndrome stay tuned

so when it comes to foam rolling the ITB there's a little bit of a fallacy around

foam rolling the ITB itself there's really no evidence to show that that

does much at all however foam rolling through the outside of your quads so the

vastus lateralis muscle and also getting stuck into your TfL muscle which is up

in the hip and which connects to the ITB is going to give you a lot of a lot of

relief from ITB syndrome so we start with the foam roller and you're gonna

lie on it sideways and just gradually move your way up and down the side of

your leg so if it's too much weight with the the top leg on top there then you

just place that on the ground and what you're doing is you're trying to seek

out the most painful points as you do this so when I find I get a point that

either refers or refers or radiates to another area of my leg or that just

feels locally very tender I sit there and wait that may just oscillate back

and forward on that and just allow that to to release and let go and then once

I've got some change in those tissues then I'll just move on to the next

painful point and in that way I can work all the way up my up the side of my

thigh and then across more down the front as well and I'll get some good

relief with that now the second thing we can do is take a ball spiky ball and

place it just under our here and lie on top of it so this is

getting right into the side of my hip here which is which is a place where ITB

where the ITB attaches into or rather the ITB

connecting to the TfL further down the leg here and the TfL muscle attaches up

here so by leaning into this area with the ball and really releasing tension

into the TfL muscle you'll relieve to a great degree the tension through the ITB

and thus relieve the symptoms that you get from ITB syndrome and all the

inflammation around the knee so on and so forth

I'd recommend spending a good few minutes on either leg if you're

suffering from ITB syndrome

The County Seat Utah County Profile - Duration: 28:51.

Hi everybody, welcome to this week's

episode of The County Seat. I'll bet

you cannot guess where we are if you

have lived in the state of Utah for any

time at all you probably have been

here at Bridal vail falls. Wel today on

The County Seat our entire focus of

the show is going to be about Utah

County. We have not done this in the

past we are going to a series of shows

this year highlighting counties. You

know that the pioneers one of the

first place that they expanded to out

of Salt Lake was to move South with

the fresh water Utah Lake and the big

fertile soil along the shores it was a

perfect place for vineyards and

orchards and agricultural pursuits.

Little communities started to dot up

they have expanded to become

Utah's 2nd most populous county and

one of the fastest most dependable

growing places. That brings with it a

lot of challenges and these are the

sorts of things that we will cover

today on our show. Let's start with

the history of the county.

Utah County calls itself the heart of Utah. The

reason for it could be two fold. The first and

most obvious is that it is located near the center

or heart of Utah. The second reason is less

obvious but if you get to know the culture and

economy, you'll see Utah County is at the heart

of what makes Utah, Utah.

To understand what makes Utah County a

unique place in the state you have to

understand how the county got its start.

It is speculated that the first non-native

americans to visit were Father Dominquez and

Father Escalante, when their party arrived in

the area on September 23, 1776.

The explorers didn't stay long and it would be

over 70 years before settlers would come to put

down permanent roots.

"Provo's history is different in several ways

from other places in Utah, other counties in

Utah, the people actually wanted to come to

Provo, Brigham did not have to call them to

come here. They were pestering him to come

here and when he finally relented in 1849, they

moved down and started their colony on the

Provo River."

The settlers began to move and build their new

home but a struggle for the land was right

around the corner.

"The only problem being this is where the Utes

like it too, the Timpanogos Utes liked it here. So

there was a sort of head butting experience

right from the very first."

Despite these early issues, the settlers persisted

and went on to form towns like Provo,

American Fork, Lehi, and Pleasant Grove, and

the county was officially founded in 1850.

It has been more than 160 years and people are

still clamoring to come live there.

In 2010 there were 448,000 people living in the

county and in 2015 that number grew to over

575,000. That is a 28.3 percent increase in just

five years.

The county features a thriving education system

with two Universities, BYU and Utah Valley

University. 93.3 percent of the county

population over 25 has a high school diploma

and 37.3% have a bachelor's degree or higher. It

is statistics like this that have made Utah

County a destination for businesses.

Over the last 15 years Utah County has

experienced explosive job growth as more new

businesses arrive. What once was a nearly

vacant hillside area is now the Silicon Slopes

filled with high end businesses like Adobe. This

new growth isn't surprising considering the

county history with technology.

"When you think of Utah County specifically

kind of the reason a lot of the energy is here,

why there is so much tech companies popping

up, why entrepreneurship is supported in such

a big way, you really have to look back at Utah's

history right, when it comes to tech. Two of the

three biggest tech companies in the world, in

the early 90's, were based in Utah with Word

Perfect and Novell and I think we just have this

strong rich tech history in Utah County."

Utah County isn't just a great place to work; it's

a great place to live. Which is why some

businesses choose to be there despite most of

their work being done out of the county.

"Then it came time to build a new building, to

grow and people said, 'Surely you're going to

build in Salt Lake, because that's where 90% of

your business is.' So I thought about it for a long

time, we talked to our employees and said if we

build in Salt Lake, what's going to happen? Will

you move? Will you commute and a large

portion of them said 'Geez Mary I don't think

we will. We want to stay in Utah County', and

that's when I realized, I did too, I wanted to stay

here."

And why wouldn't you want to live there? Utah

County has safe communites

"I love this lifestyle down here. I love the nature

of the people, their kindness, their community

oriented natures. I wanted to live in place

where I could send my kids to the baseball

fields on their bikes and not have to worry

about them."

.excellent education opportunites, and access

to wonderful recreation opportunities like

Bridal Veil Falls, Utah Lake and of course

"Sundance is an amazing assest. You can see

amazing plays there, you've got skiing and in

the summer it's one of the better places to go

mountain biking in the whole state."

our highlight this week is focused on

Utah County we are spending the

entire half hour talking about the

county, its history its challenges

joining us for the conversation

Commissioners Nathan Ivy and Bill

Lee, gentlemen thank you for joining

us today. It's really good to see both

of you fellas. So obviously we see

from the story that Utah County is

poised for and has done a great job of

growing it's currently growing and

what is the vision you all see for the

future laying out 10-20 years.

The first future is we are going to

move that monument from this is the

place up there in Salt Lake area down

here to Utah county. Because

through studies and models and

everything we know there is a lot of

people coming here to Utah County

or projected to come this direction

and so that puts pressures on us to

make sure that we do police and law

enforcement transportation is

appropriate recreation as well that

we have in there and that we keep

the quality of life that we have right

now and maintain that as we are

going forward.

Is that a juggling act Nathan?

Yes, it's a very big juggling act to try

and find the proper balance

especially when you face with

growth. In Utah County has a very

unique balance to keep because we

have an amazing tech hub around the

point of the mountain the silicone

slopes we are attracting major world

companies like Adobe and others and

then in the South end of our county

we have actually lead the nation in

things like tart cherry production and

we lead the state in agricultural

receipt production and so as a county

we have a major diversity and so

finding the proper balance to make

sure that growth happens and we

promote our businesses and all those

wonderful things happen being our

technology hub our financial hubs but

stay true to our roots and agriculture

is a challenge.

Do you feel like when you come into

commission meetings sometimes it's

like a Dr. Jackal and Mr. Hyde you

have these hats you have to switch.

We always have to do that. We go

from issue to issue and they are wide

ranged in what we try to accomplish

and what we try to do so yes it is it's

a back and forth it's a balancing act.

Why do you think there is such an

appeal to Utah County? I am sure

part of it is what you just mentioned

Nathan that within one county you

can come here for good urban

business but you can go pick cherries

right off the tree. What do you think

the general appeal is that is drawing

all this growth?

I think one of the things that is the

great appeal is our taxes. Utah

County is the lowest tax county in the

entire state of Utah. We live by the

philosophy of small limited

government and allowing the people

to what the people do best. As a

result we have created an

atmosphere where we attract

wonderful people who do wonderful

things.

Have anything to add to that.

The greatest resource we have here

in Utah county is the people and they

are willing to go out and take chances

in businesses and willing to be

entrepreneurs and say let's try this

and willing to say this is what we do

not want and we are willing to stay

where we are. So I applaud that.

ago there were a whole bunch of

models of what your future looks like

would there be one you would like to

pick and just kind of paint in a broad

brush what 10 years down the road

looks like for Utah county.

The Gardner Institute I sat on a panel

up in Salt Lake they went through a

whole bunch of different models of

which they take all the factors and

they put them in place and they say

how is Utah County going to grow

and why and they went through

about 48 different models and picked

the average on that and they are

saying that by 2065 we are going to

be 1.2 million people in this valley

and so right now we are a little over

600,000 so we are going to grow

rapidly.

If you stop to think about that I was

an adult but the time Utah crossed

that kind of a number as far as a

million people just within my lifetime

I can see that happen to one county

that is just phenomenal. Do you

think you are going to carry a lot of

the population growth for the state in

the coming years?

Absolutely as you look at one of the

factors is geography, right. Salt Lake

County is getting pretty dang full they

don't have much more of the land

space in Utah County we do have

some land space available and

especially looking west in our Eagle

Mountain area and southwest in our

little places like Goshen. There is

land there and so when you look at

those particular areas we have some

land capacity to have more people

whereas a lot of the other more

urban areas of the Wasatch Front are

becoming a fairly built out we still

have some room to grow.

We are going to take a quick break

when we come back we are going to

turn our attention to some of the

challenges that all this growth is

going to bring and how the counties

and Utah county in particular will

need help achieving their goals we

will be right back with The County

Seat.

Welcome back to The County Seat we

are talking to the Commissioners of

Utah County as we highlight Utah

County for the entire half hour of the

county seat this week we talked

growth what are your concerns what

do you see as the biggest challenge

facing the county?

Well I think transportation is always

going to be one where we have

concerns and infrastructure because

although we have a lot of land it's not

developed land in the way of growth

that is coming there is going to be

infrastructure challenges

transportation challenges and then

finding the right blend between what

we have in our county which is urban

and rural and how that interfaces

between the two. We are seeing

some of those buffers hit right now

that are causing problems with

perceptions and what is going on so

those are the challenges that we

have.

Along with some of those challenges

and I think it touches on what

Commissioner Lee mentioned here

one of the things that is beautiful

about Utah County is our recreational

opportunities we have places like

American Fork Canyon Provo Canyon

Payson Canyon Spanish Fork these

are amazing places to go and recreate

and mountain bike ski hike do those

types of things that Utahans like to

do as we see a ginormous influx of

people those recreation areas face

increased pressure from usage and so

what are we doing now to make sure

that we are preserving large diverse

recreational opportunities so that in

50 years from now when we have 1.6

million living here that we still have

those diverse recreational

opportunities to go to because today

we look to the future and created

vision to protect those areas that

once you lose you never get back.

So is part of that equation looking for

new place to set aside as you expand

out for recreational opportunities like

west mountain or something like

that.

Sure you know I remember years ago

and I know that Salt Lake County still

kind of going through the changes of

this but when we were laid out every

15 miles there was a city there was a

lot a of space in between but as you

grow together you lose that space in

between and if you do not do

something or if communities do not

do something to have open space

then you wind up with everything

melted together and then your start

going the other direction and try to

buy stuff to get spaces in between

and that is what Salt Lake County has

been trying to do and so if we can

look now and say why don't we have

areas that are set aside cities and

counties make those areas available

we can have that richness that we

want.

Is that sometimes an unpopular

thing?

From my perspective my interaction

with the community it has not been

unpopular its actually very supported

because the people have come here

because they love those types of

activities and when they see elected

officials working with the various

mayors or other entities to try and

accomplish those goals that we have

as a broad county they are very

supportive of those ideas. Now they

are challenging because they are

expensive what is the right area how

do you build the right infrastructure

to it how do you find the money to

pay for some of those things but

those are the challenges that come

with it but there is general broad

support for that forward looking

vision from the county people from

my perspective.

If most of your growth is out west so

looking Provo Orem Spanish Fork we

are kind of filled in here so seems to

me that it's going to be out west that

you have that expansion and before

the show you were mentioning the

extension of water out there.

We are looking to trying to bring

water particularly to the southwest

end of the county it is a more dry

area what can we do to have

agriculture and residential water

usage out there and making sure that

its northwest Saratoga Springs area

they have good water now but that is

now what do we have down the road

for that future population and what

do we do to make sure we put the

proper infrastructure in place now so

that again when we get to those

critical points it is there and

deliverable instead of being reactor

to a problem and we had forward

thinking on all those issues.

Transportation is one of those things

I see a huge challenge in Utah County

because you have a lake right in the

middle of the county while its only 8

feet deep it's still a lake in the middle

of the county.

Like you said its right in the middle of

the county sour our Northwest

corridors are important to us we

have to have to move people back

and forth you look at other counties

like Salt Lake County they are east

and west of what they are dealing

with now trying to get people out like

our north and west so we have those

in place there are models out there

that we are looking at we are trying

to do preservation corridors so we

can purchase the lands now so when

its available for us to put the

transportation out there we will have

that land already purchased and

ready to go and that is one of the

things we are looking at.

In touching on that and this is what

Commissioner Lee lead out on and

was fantastic with is trying to build a

better working relationship with our

federal agencies like most counties in

Utah we have a large amount of

federally owned land and periodically

we get a small chunk of federally

owned land when we are trying to

put a sewer line through or a road

through and then in becomes very

cumbersome so we are trying now to

work through those challenge with

our federal land issues make sure

when growth hits partially again in

that west side where we have a lot of

federal land that those are handled in

a manner that allows us to efficiently

and quickly put in those sewer lines

and roads and other infrastructure

needs that come along with that

growth.

When you have a smaller county like

Utah County that has a fair chunk of

federal land in it does this seem like a

logical places where maybe the

transfer which has been a very

controversial issue would make

sense?

It absolutely will we went through

our resource management plan and

we just adopted that this year and

like Commissioner Ivy mentioned

there are areas where the federal

land comes down and it does not

make sense at all for them to have or

hold that. And like we all know on a

federal basis that will take years to

get something passed and to the

ground and on a disposal basis and it

may take ten years but we have to

start now because we cannot allow

for growth to hit that and then cause

problematic areas for us. So the

transfer of federal lands is very

important to us not just to our county

but for other counties as well but we

need to be on the forefront of going

forward with that.

It would almost seem it's a bigger

issue here potentially be a bigger

issue here than in the counties that

are still grazing a lot. They may find

peace with their federal partners and

continue their lifestyle but as you

organize it seems like it could be a

really big problem.

As you urbanize you run into a lot of

conflict take forest management for

example. We have a lot of our cities

that are now abutting forest land and

the forest service is doing a poor job

of managing that and keeping things

like beetle kill out and then we run

into serious fire issues that

immediate threaten homes and so it

is critical that we have those good

management practices honed in on a

local level so we can control and

protect our citizens from those types

of natural disasters that are

preventable.

That would also have an impact on

your watersheds too I suppose.

You bet, absolutely.

I think for me it is the heart of Utah

County that is our story but I truly

believe that. Everything that

happens here affects Utah the good

things we do here are part of why

Utah is so successful. We create a

model of government and a culture in

a society that is truly reflective of the

American spirit and dream and that

dream and spirit lives here in Utah

County and because we help push

the blood to the rest of the state

Utah has become the shining

example to the nation of what can

happen when you live by good

principals and those are the

principals and ideal that we embrace

here in Utah County being a good

neighbor and keeping government

small and limited and allowing the

people to have freedom.

What are your thoughts on that?

A lot along the similar lines that

Commissioner Ivy has there. Again

our greatest resource is the people

that we have here in the county and

again they do phenomenal jobs in

keeping government under its proper

role I believe give the county greater

flexibility and greater opportunity

and there is a lot going on here from

Sundance to Bridal Vail Falls to out at

the lake to shooting at other side of

the lake there are so many things

that are happening here in Utah

County it's just fun to be a part of it

and see the good things that are

happening.

You just have a really good working

relationship I get the sense that you

guys have a united front and there a

good unified motion forward with

your leadership. Is that a fair

statement?

I think so and actually within the

commission we are striving very hard

to have good communication and be

on the same page and work together

and within the whole entire Utah

county government from our

assessor's office to our recorder and

treasurer our sheriff's department we

are all committed to helping this

place be a wonderful place to live and

I think that spirit of cooperation not

within our commission office but

county wide.

My hope is by the end of this I can

ride a horse half as good as you do.

That would be an accomplishment.

Well he's getting closer we are

working on it.

THE OLD TESTAMENT IS THE SCHOOLMASTER

LEADING US INTO THE NEW TESTAMENT.

A PERSON WILL NEVER COMPLETELY UNDERSTAND OR

APPRECIATE THE NEW TESTAMENT WITHOUT KNOWLEDGE

AND UNDERSTANDING OF THE OLD TESTAMENT.

IN THE OLD TESTAMENT ARE FOUND WHAT IS KNOWN AS

TYPES AND SHADOWS, THESE ARE STORIES AND CHARACTERS

THAT REPRESENT WHAT THE NEW TESTAMENT TEACHES.

TONIGHT, I SHARE WITH YOU TYPES AND SHADOWS

OF THE HOLY SPIRIT AND THE BRIDE OF CHRIST

FOUND IN THE OLD TESTAMENT.

BUT FIRST, I WANT TO GIVE YOU WHAT THE NEW TESTAMENT SAYS.

IN LUKE'S GOSPEL, JESUS GIVES WARNING OF THIS AGE

IN WHICH WE LIVE AND HIS SECOND COMING.

LUKE, CHAPTER 17, VERSES 26 AND 27,

"AND AS IT WAS IN THE DAYS OF NOAH,

SO SHALL IT BE ALSO IN THE DAYS OF THE SON OF MAN.

THEY DID EAT, THEY DRANK,

THEY MARRIED WIVES, THEY WERE GIVEN IN MARRIAGE,

UNTIL THE DAY THAT NOAH ENTERED INTO THE ARK,

AND THE FLOOD CAME, AND DESTROYED THEM ALL."

NOW I TAKE YOU BACK TO THE BOOK OF GENESIS

TO REVEAL TO YOU CERTAIN TYPES AND SHADOWS

OF CHRIST'S BRIDE, AND THE HOLY SPIRIT.

IN THE 6TH CHAPTER OF GENESIS,

IT'S RECORDED THAT THE WICKEDNESS OF MEN WAS GREAT

AND EVERY THOUGHT AND IMAGINATION

OF THE HEART WAS EVIL CONTINUALLY.

AND GOD SAID IN GENESIS, CHAPTER 6, VERSE 3,

"MY SPIRIT SHALL NOT ALWAYS STRIVE WITH MAN."

NOW IN OUR DAY, THE WICKEDNESS THROUGHOUT THE EARTH

IS INCREASING MORE AND MORE.

MOST IN SOCIETY, AS A NOAH'S DAY,

HAVE TURNED FROM GOD AND HIS TRUTH.

MANY THAT CLAIM TO SERVE GOD DO SO ONLY IN FORM

FOR THEY HAVE DENIED HIS POWER.

DENYING THE POWER OF DIVINE BLOOD, FOR INSTANCE,

THAT SAVES, HEALS AND ENABLES A PERSON

TO LIVE A HOLY LIFE FREE OF ALL SIN.

THEY HAVE DENIED THE POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

THAT WILL BAPTIZE A PERSON, MAKING THEM JUST LIKE JESUS,

AND PREPARING THEM FOR HIS SECOND COMING,

THE SECOND COMING OF CHRIST, THAT IS.

SECOND TIMOTHY, CHAPTER 3, VERSES 1 AND 5,

"THIS KNOW ALSO, THAT IN THE LAST DAYS

PERILOUS TIMES SHALL COME."

VERSE 5, "HAVING A FORM OF GODLINESS, BUT

DENYING THE POWER THEREOF: FROM SUCH TURN AWAY."

AS A NOAH'S DAY, ONCE AGAIN, GOD,

THE FATHER, THE SON AND THE HOLY SPIRIT

ARE GRIEVED TO THE POINT OF JUDGMENT.

NOW IN GENESIS, CHAPTER 6, VERSE 7,

"AND THE LORD SAID,

I WILL DESTROY MAN WHOM I HAVE CREATED FROM

THE FACE OF THE EARTH; BOTH MAN, AND BEAST,

AND THE CREEPING THING, AND THE FOWLS OF THE AIR;

FOR IT REPENTETH ME THAT I HAVE MADE THEM."

HOWEVER, IN THE MIDST OF THIS, THERE WAS A MAN NAMED NOAH,

LIVING IN THIS EVIL, YET GOD TOOK NOTE OF HIM.

GENESIS 6:8, "BUT NOAH FOUND GRACE IN THE EYES OF GOD."

LIKE NOAH, TODAY, THE BRIDE OF CHRIST

HAS FOUND GRACE IN THE EYES OF GOD.

BY GRACE, GOD PROVIDED A WAY OF ESCAPE

FOR NOAH AND HIS FAMILY OF THE COMING JUDGMENT

TO PRESERVE THEM FROM A FLOOD THAT WOULD DESTROY

EVERY LIVING CREATURE UPON THE FACE OF THE EARTH;

SO, TOO, HAS THE BRIDE OF CHRIST BEEN PROMISED

A WAY OF ESCAPE FROM THE COMING JUDGMENT

OF THE SEVEN-YEAR TRIBULATION PERIOD.

REVELATION, CHAPTER 3, VERSE 10, JESUS SPEAKING,

"BECAUSE THOU HAST KEPT THE WORD OF MY PATIENCE,

I ALSO WILL KEEP THEE FROM THE HOUR OF TEMPTATION,

WHICH SHALL COME UPON ALL THE WORLD,

TO TRY THEM THAT DWELL UPON THE EARTH."

THE HOLY SPIRIT WORKED WITH NOAH AND HIS FAMILY.

HE ANOINTED THEM, HE BLESSED THEM,

HE DIRECTED THEM AND HE PROTECTED THEM.

THE LORD, THROUGH THE HOLY SPIRIT,

GAVE THE PLAN OF THE ARK TO NOAH,

FOR NOAH HAD NEVER BUILT SUCH A STRUCTURE BEFORE;

AND THERE COULD NOT BE ONE MISTAKE,

NOT ONE LEAK, OR IT WOULD BE TOTAL DISASTER.

TO ACCOMPLISH SUCH A MAMMOTH PROJECT,

NOAH NEEDED MORE THAN REGULAR INSTRUCTION,

HE NEEDED DIVINE INSTRUCTION.

HE NEEDED THE WILL AND THE PATIENCE TO OBEY THESE

INSTRUCTIONS 100 PERCENT.

THROUGH 100 PERCENT OBEDIENCE,

NOAH UNTIED GOD'S HANDS SO GOD COULD PERFORM THE MIRACULOUS,

AND IN THIS FINAL HOUR, THE BRIDE OF CHRIST,

THROUGH PERFECT OBEDIENCE, WILL UNTIE GOD'S HANDS,

ENABLING GOD TO SHAKE THE HEAVENS AND THE EARTH

ONE LAST TIME WITH THE MIRACULOUS.

AT THE COMPLETION OF THE ARK,

ONCE AGAIN, WE FIND THE HOLY SPIRIT WORKING.

GENESIS CHAPTER 7, VERSES 8 AND 9,

"OF CLEAN BEASTS, AND OF BEASTS THAT ARE NOT CLEAN,

AND OF FOWLS, AND OF EVERY THING THAT CREEPETH UPON THE EARTH,

THERE WENT IN TWO AND TWO UNTO NOAH INTO THE ARK,

THE MALE AND THE FEMALE, AS GOD HAD COMMANDED."

NOAH DID NOT HAVE TO ROUND UP ALL OF THESE ANIMALS

FROM ALL OVER;

THE SPIRIT OF GOD TOOK THESE ANIMALS OVER

AND LEAD THEM INTO THE ARK.

THE SPIRIT OF GOD WAS ABLE TO DO THIS BECAUSE ANIMALS

DO NOT HAVE FREE CHOICE.

IN THIS FINAL HOUR, THE HOLY SPIRIT AGAIN

IS ACTIVELY WORKING THROUGHOUT THE EARTH.

THIS TIME HE SEEKS TO DRAW HUMAN BEINGS FROM ALL OVER

THE WORLD INTO THE ARK OF SAFETY

BEFORE GOD'S JUDGMENT FALLS UPON THE FACE OF THE EARTH.

DANIEL PROPHESIED THAT IN THE LAST DAYS KNOWLEDGE

WOULD BE INCREASED, AND OVER THE LAST 100 YEARS OR SO

KNOWLEDGE HAS INCREASED LIKE NEVER BEFORE.

TODAY, IT CONTINUES TO GROW AT SUCH A RAPID PACE,

AND THE HOLY SPIRIT IS USING THIS KNOWLEDGE

TO DRAW PEOPLE TO THE ARK OF SAFETY.

THE KNOWLEDGE OF TELEVISION, RADIO AND THE INTERNET;

NOW THE MASSES CAN BE REACHED QUICKER

AND MORE THOROUGHLY THAN EVER BEFORE.

MATTHEW, CHAPTER 24, VERSE 14, JESUS SAID,

"AND THIS GOSPEL OF THE KINGDOM SHALL BE PREACHED

IN ALL THE WORLD FOR A WITNESS UNTO ALL NATIONS;

AND THEN SHALL THE END COME."

HOWEVER, UNLIKE THOSE ANIMALS IN NOAH'S DAY,

PEOPLE HAVE FREE CHOICE.

PEOPLE CAN YIELD TO THE DRAWING

OF THE HOLY SPIRIT OR REJECT IT.

NOW, IN NOAH'S DAY, AFTER 120 YEARS OF BUILDING THE ARK,

ALL WAS MADE READY.

THE ARK COMPLETE, NOAH AND HIS FAMILY ON BOARD,

THE ANIMALS ON BOARD; STILL, THE LORD WOULD WAIT

SEVEN MORE DAYS BEFORE SENDING JUDGMENT,

GIVING PEOPLE ONE FINAL CHANCE TO ENTER THE ARK OF SAFETY.

WELL, SINCE JESUS CAME 2,000 YEARS AGO, DIVINITY

HAS WORKED TO INFLUENCE AS MANY PEOPLE AS POSSIBLE

TO COME INTO THE ARK OF SAFETY,

AND NOW AS WE NEAR THE END OF THIS CIVILIZATION,

WE ARE IN THE LAST SEVEN DAYS OF GRACE,

AND IT'S "WHOSOEVER WILL, LET HIM COME."

ACTS, CHAPTER 2, VERSE 21,

"AND IT SHALL COME TO PASS, THAT WHOSOEVER SHALL CALL

ON THE NAME OF THE LORD SHALL BE SAVED."

IN TYPES AND SHADOWS, NOAH'S ARK OF SAFETY REPRESENTS DIVINITY,

BUILT IN THREE STORIES, REPRESENTING GOD, THE FATHER,

GOD, THE SON AND GOD, THE HOLY GHOST.

AND TO ENTER INTO THE ARK OF SAFETY,

ONE MUST GO THROUGH THE ARK'S ONLY DOOR,

THIS DOOR IS A TYPE OF JESUS CHRIST.

JOHN, CHAPTER 10, VERSE 9, JESUS SPEAKING,

"I AM THE DOOR: BY ME IF ANY MAN ENTER IN, HE SHALL BE SAVED,

AND SHALL GO IN AND OUT, AND FIND PASTURE."

THE ONLY WAY INTO HEAVEN IS THROUGH JESUS CHRIST,

YET FOR SO MANY AGES, PEOPLE HAVE TRIED

TO MAKE THEIR OWN SIDE DOOR INTO THE ARK OF SAFETY,

DOING SO THROUGH PHILOSOPHIES, THEORIES,

FALSE RELIGIONS, IDOL GODS AND FALSE DOCTRINES,

BUT THESE SIDE DOORS ARE REALLY TRAPDOORS,

SENDING PEOPLE PLUNGING INTO HELL.

ACTS, CHAPTER 4, VERSE 12,

"NEITHER IS THERE SALVATION IN ANY OTHER:

FOR THERE IS NONE OTHER NAME UNDER HEAVEN GIVEN AMONG MEN,

WHEREBY WE MUST BE SAVED."

ONLY IN THE NAME OF JESUS IS THERE SALVATION

AND ENTRANCE INTO THE ARK OF SAFETY.

IN NOAH'S DAY, AFTER THE SEVEN-DAY GRACE PERIOD WAS OVER,

WHO SHUT THE DOOR AND SEALED IT?

THE HOLY SPIRIT.

GENESIS, CHAPTER 7, VERSES 16,

"AND THEY THAT WENT IN, WENT IN MALE AND FEMALE OF ALL FLESH,

AS GOD HAD COMMANDED HIM: AND THE LORD SHUT HIM IN."

SO, TOO, THE TIME IS NEAR WHEN THIS AGE OF GRACE WILL END

AND THE ARK OF SAFETY WILL BE SHUT AND SEALED

BY THE HOLY SPIRIT.

THEN THE BRIDE OF CHRIST SAFELY ON BOARD

WILL TAKE HER FLIGHT TO HEAVEN WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT,

AND THEN, IT WILL BE WOE, WOE, WOE

UNTO THE INHABITANTS OF THE EARTH LEFT BEHIND.

FIRST CORINTHIANS, CHAPTER 15, VERSES 51 AND 52,

"BEHOLD, I SHOW YOU A MYSTERY; WE SHALL NOT ALL SLEEP,

BUT WE SHALL ALL BE CHANGED, IN A MOMENT,

IN THE TWINKLING OF AN EYE, AT THE LAST TRUMP:

FOR THE TRUMPET SHALL SOUND,

AND THE DEAD SHALL BE RAISED INCORRUPTIBLE,

AND WE SHALL BE CHANGED."

AT THIS POINT,

I TAKE YOU BACK TO LUKE'S GOSPEL, THE 17TH CHAPTER.

ONCE AGAIN, TO CHRIST'S WARNING OF HIS SECOND RETURN.

LUKE, CHAPTER 17, VERSES 28-30, AND VERSE 32,

JESUS SAID, "LIKEWISE ALSO AS IT WAS IN THE DAYS OF LOT;

THEY DID EAT, THEY DRANK, THEY BOUGHT, THEY SOLD,

THEY PLANTED, THEY BUILDED;

BUT THE SAME DAY THAT LOT WENT OUT OF SODOM

IT RAINED FIRE AND BRIMSTONE FROM HEAVEN,

AND DESTROYED THEM ALL.

EVEN THUS SHALL IT BE IN THE DAY

WHEN THE SON OF MAN IS REVEALED.

REMEMBER LOT'S WIFE."

LOT AND HIS FAMILY LIVED

IN THE MIDST OF THE WICKED CITIES,

SODOM AND GOMORRAH.

IT TELLS US IN SECOND PETER, CHAPTER 2,

LOT'S RIGHTEOUS SOUL WAS VEXED BY THE UNGODLINESS AROUND HIM.

NOW LOT IS A TYPE OF THE BRIDE OF CHRIST;

RIGHTEOUS AND HOLY BEFORE GOD,

SHE IS VEXED AT THE WAY THE SPIRIT OF ANTICHRIST IS

REVEALING ITSELF AND MANIFESTING ITSELF

THROUGH THE LIVES OF MULTITUDES AROUND THE WORLD.

AND IN THE 19TH CHAPTER OF GENESIS,

GOD LOOKED ON AND DECIDED TO SEND HELP

FOR LOT AND HIS FAMILY,

DELIVERANCE IN THE FORM OF TWO ANGELS.

GENESIS 19:1,

"AND THERE CAME TWO ANGELS TO SODOM AT EVEN;

AND LOT SAT IN THE GATE OF SODOM:

AND LOT SEEING THEM ROSE UP TO MEET THEM;

AND HE BOWED HIMSELF WITH HIS FACE TOWARDS THE GROUND."

NOW TAKE NOTE, THESE TWO ANGELS OF DELIVERANCE

REPRESENT THE WORD OF GOD AND THE HOLY SPIRIT IN OUR DAY,

SENT TO EARTH TO RESCUE MEMBERS OF THE BRIDE OF CHRIST.

GENESIS, CHAPTER 19, VERSES 12 AND 13,

"AND THE MEN SAID UNTO LOT, HAST THOU HERE ANY BESIDES?

SON IN LAW, AND THY SONS, AND THY DAUGHTERS, AND

WHATSOEVER THOU HAST IN THE CITY, BRING THEM OUT

OF THIS PLACE: FOR WE WILL DESTROY THIS PLACE,

BECAUSE THE CRY OF THEM IS WAXEN GREAT

BEFORE THE FACE OF THE LORD;

IT SAYS IN THIS PASSAGE OF SCRIPTURE,

THE ANGELS APPEARED AS MEN.

WELL, THE WORD WAS MADE FLESH IN THE FORM OF JESUS
