In today's video I'm going to show you how

to tie your shoes the proper way using

the Parisian Knot.

Most of us have never thought about how

we tied our shoes since we were taught

how to tie as schoolchildren.

But the Parisian Knot is a beautiful

way to tie your shoes that's a subtle

differentiator

and also is effectively a double

knot so you never have to worry about your shoes

coming untied during the day.

I even use this to tie my son's tennis

shoes because

with the double-knot I never have to worry

about them becoming untied.

And it's the most elegant compact

double knot that you can find.

So to tie your shoes using

the Parisian knot is really quite simple.

First untie your shoes

and then wrap the shoe laces around each

other twice. Then

with your left hand form the first bunny ear

and then with your right hand wrap the shoelace

around your finger twice then

pushing the shoelace through the middle where your

finger was to create the second

bunny ear. Now you may need to play around

with this a little bit to tighten the knot

and get it perfect.

So let's do this one more time just so

that you can see exactly what I'm doing here.

First tie your shoe laces

and then twist

and if you really want to make sure that they're going to stay

tight you can actually do a double

twist right here which again

is just going to make sure that you don't have to worry

about your shoe laces coming undone.

I like to keep my finger in

the middle of the knot so that I can

just simply push

the other shoe lace through

there to form the other loop.

Once that pulls through,

you can play around with it a little bit.

But you see you get a nice double knot

with these two parallel loops.

A very symmetric knot

and looks very neat.

I really encourage you to learn how to use this

provision. Once you learn how to tie it.

It's very easy to tie in the morning.

It doesn't take any extra time

and it's actually a much better knot

than your standard knots.

Some people might notice as you're using a special

not they've never seen before.

Other people might not notice at all.

Most importantly you know that you've taken

the time in the morning

and are able to just refine the way

that you do something otherwise ordinary

that much better than everyone else.

It's important to also remember that a worn

old pair of shoe laces can disproportionately

affect the look of a really expensive

pair of shoes.

and replace your shoelaces.

Hey great to see you!

We all have head of avocado toast but have you heard about unicorn toast?

Not only are you love this toast because it's absolutely gorgeous and nutrient power-packed

but your kids are going to love it too.

It's a really easy way to get in tons of more greens in the morning without doing the

smoothie but it takes just as much time.

First off you'll use coconut milk yogurt and that is going to be your base for this

complete thing and then you'll notice all these gorgeous different colors so that's

the real key in being able to get those swirls that look like a wave or magical unicorn dust

as many colors as possible.

So we're going to incorporate of course our green juice that's going to be rubbing

up our metabolism throughout the morning and then we want to have a little bit more energy

and that is going to come with the red juice and you're not going to believe how easy

it is.

You just take a little bit of your green juice powder, you're going to add a little bit

of the red juice to change it up in color and then you mix.

Look at that!

And already you can see how fun kids would think this would be.

It tastes delicious and you're going to get so many amazing nutrients superfoods and

things that really you couldn't ever buy and put them in one fell swoop.

Just take it on your toast like so, scoot it around like a wave and no matter what,

just remember to have fun with it.

You can't do anything wrong and it's just a fun easy healthy way to get a ton more nutrients

and also by the way to make some other unicorn esque colors you just want to take a lot of

colorful different fruits.

Put them in a blender with just a tiny bit of coconut or almond milk and then blend and

plop that bad boy down there just like this and then top it off with a little bit of banana

and that's it.

There you go!

In this video we talk about Crematogaster scutellaris!

This ant nest a wide variety of microhabitats, ranging from tree trunks and logs,

rotten wood, wooden boards, stones and cracks in the walls of human habitations.

They build rooms with chew wood and dirt like wasps.

The species is widespread in the countries of the Mediterranean basin

and the wood trade has led its introduction into north Europe.

How to identify Crematogaster scutellaris?

Well... In a first look the color, a red head and a blackish body

Next we can notice 2 spines in the thorax and a heart shaped abdomen

which has been highted overhead if allarmed.

That is the reason for their common name "Acrobat ants"

At the end of the abdomen there is a sting which the ant secretes a droplet of pheromones having a very pungent smell

They form long lines to link, protect and breeds the aphid herds for the honeydew!

They also hunt for small insects, in particular, Crematogaster scutellaris has been studied

as a biological fighter against Thaumetopoea pityocampa - A devastating moth of the Mediterranean pines

The workers are 4 to 6 mm long and don't have castes, they live about 2 years.

The queen is 8 to 9 mm long and can live for 20 years!

The males are completely blackish and...

search a good place to hide and hybernate for the winter.

Then after the cold season, she wakes up and begin to lay eggs.

100 units and growth is exponential!

Acrobat ants enstablish independant monogynous colonies but oligyne is possible.

Oligyne is when multiple queens are accepted by workers but they are aggressive against each other.

This ant is a dominant and very prolific species that influences other insects communities and dynamics

Many nests were spread across more than a sigle tree, they can cover even 175 m away from the main nest

they are considered a pest many times, especially from cork and wood factories,

My first advice is to pay a lot of attenction to their escape abilities,

Crematogaster scutellaris can dig every kind of raw material like plaster and Ytong.

A expandable wood nest solution would be the best for them, but be sure to cover every side with glass or acrylic.

In alternative you can build an antarium with a large lid border and a wood nest inside.

This ant is capable to adapt to a relative cold temperatures but don't like the humidity.

The temperature suggested for a good growth speed is from 24 to 28°C

Crematogaster scutellaris need hybernation to remain healty.

In a temperature between 5 to 10°C, from november to february.

Today, we will learn how to calculate the weight of a mild steel plate.

Whose given length, L is 1 m.

Whose breadth, denoted by B is 0.5 m.

whose height or thickness, denoted by H or t.

H in this case is 0.1 m or 100 mm.

Volume is equal to L multiply by B multiply by H

which is 1 m into 0.5 m into 0.1 m

0.05 cubic meters

Density of mild steel is 7850 kg per cubic meters

Now we will calculate the weight of the steel plate.

which is volume multiply by density

density is given and volume, we have found out

weight of the steel plate is 392.5 kg

what does it mean is that the weight of the mild steel plate

for given length of 1 m, breadth 0.5 m,

and thickness is 100 mm

the weight of that steel plate is 392.5 kg

My Deeper Sonar story – Ryan from Rut and River Pursuits Podcast - Duration: 2:14.

Hey guys, my name is Ryan Madara.

I've been fishing... Well, my dad had me out

since I was just a little tiny kid. But the only fishing I ever really did was

Pennsylvania trout season. You know, even that was only maybe three four days out of the year.

Where you know, I'm catching wall hangers that are maybe 10-12 inches long

A couple of guys I do a podcast with - The Rut & River Pursuit Podcast.

They got me, talked into trying this bass fishing thing. And I'll tell you what...

They got me hooked. They got me hooked quick!

We're using kayaks, we're fishing from the banks.

You can see the dam that's back here.

We're fishing from structures like that.

Just using my eyes, I've been able to hone in on some of these things.

Identify the structure, a rock sticking out of the water,

overhanging branches. Things like that.

And I've actually been able to land a couple of decent fish.

But what I'm finding is, the more I'm getting into this.

The warmer the summers getting,

the deeper the fish are going.

I can't tell you with my eyes, that 8 foot off the point, where I'm standing

It drops from 4 foot to 9 foot.

And about 5 minutes ago there was a school of feeder fish, just hanging off the edge of it.

I can't tell you that with my eyes.

But I can tell you that with confidence, because I just threw my Deeper in there a moment ago.

When I was mapping this section of the lake.

That's the reason I've been using the Deeper.

That's the reason I will continue to use the Deeper.

And I promise you, if you want to know, who I would recommend should use a Deeper?

Well, I'd say, of course, bass fisherman, kayak fisherman. It's fantastic!

But I would say anybody who wants to understand their target species better.

Doesn't have to be bass, you could be a crappie guy.

You could be looking for pan fish.

If you want to take the grandkids out and fish off a pier.

Wouldn't you rather go fish...

Or off a dock rather.

Wouldn't you rather go fish off a dock, where you know

there's a school of fish 10 foot off?

So, the kids can throw their worms and a bobber out there and catch a fish. I would...

So, my answer to that would be

I'd recommend it to anybody, who wants to put fish in the boat, on the shore, in their belly,

and their kids memories. Anybody...
