Scary Moments From It That Didn't Make It From Book To Screen - Duration: 3:53.

2017's It has been scaring audiences everywhere since its release, but for all the terror

Pennywise is causing on the big screen, the novel contains even more horrifying scenes

that had to be cut from the film.

Here are the scariest moments from It that were too terrifying to leave the book.

Ben's first encounter

Early in the novel, Ben Hanscom is shown volunteering to stay late to help his teacher finish some

last-minute tasks, and by the time they're done, the streets have cleared.

Even though it's brutally cold, Ben decides to walk home alone.

Along the way, he spots a clown standing on the ice, clutching balloons and offering Ben

one, with his usual offer for the kid to float.

What's frightening about it is that Ben does want that balloon and feels sucked into Pennywise's

mental grip, which is only broken by the town's clock chiming to indicate the top of the hour.

Talk about being saved by the bell.

The werewolf

The It movie did a great job of sneaking in a lot of the pop culture-inspired monsters

that loomed large over the Losers, but the werewolf at the Neibolt Street house only

appeared in a blink-and-you'd-miss-it moment.

As in the movie, the werewolf arrives during Bill and Richie's journey into the house.

But while Richie's perspective shows It as the four-legged freak show, Bill sees something

different.

As they escape on Bill's bike Silver, he describes It as a clown in a varsity coat, which runs

counter to Richie's memory of the monster.

It's a subtle difference, but the scene proves that It looks different to different people

depending on their particular fear, which makes it that much scarier than some bozo

with big teeth.

The absence of the wolf also means that the book's weapon — silver slugs — aren't

a factor in the movie, which is why the Losers end up fighting with a bolt gun instead of

their trusty slingshot.

The standpipe

Although Stan's first encounter with It in the movie takes place in his father's office,

the literary version is a lot creepier.

As a child, Stan is an avid bird watcher and heads down to the Barrens to do some spotting

near the Standpipe — a notoriously off-limits part of town, since it claimed too many lives

when it was open to the public.

After seeing the Standpipe appear to float, Stanley goes inside.

The door shuts, locking him in, and he hears a voice claiming to be "the dead ones."

He only manages to escape by chanting the names of birds from his guidebook.

Despite what he's seen, Stan still has trouble wrapping his head around what's happened and

needs more proof of It's existence.

This all goes to show, of course, that Stan has more trouble accepting It than the rest,

which will have deadly consequences for him later in life.

Georgie's picture

In the It movie, the kids' projector slideshow develops a mind of Its own and slowly churns

out a more-than-photorealistic image of Pennywise.

That might be a clever way of getting the feel of the scene across while embracing the

movie's adjusted timeline, but there's still something particularly sinister about the

way this moment goes down in the book.

As reimagined by the TV miniseries as well, Bill looks at a photo album with some innocent

family pictures of Georgie.

But one photo of his lost little brother starts to move, winking at him and promising that

he'll see him soon — just before the book starts gushing blood.

Making matters worse is that the image represents Bill's freshest memory of Georgie, since it

was taken just days before his death.

Sure, the It movie brought Georgie back to terrorize Bill, but the scene as written is

a spine-tingler all on its own.

The disappearance of Chad Lowe

Other than Betty Ripsom and Patrick Hockstetter, the children who've gone missing in the 2017

movie are largely ignored, which means the movie also passes over one of the most disturbing

disappearances of all: Chad Lowe.

Grown-up Mike Hanlon makes mention of the boy later when recapping the town's attitude

towards the missing kids, pointing out Chad's case to the cop who wants to wave away the

deaths or disappearances as coincidence.

Lowe was just three and a half when he went missing the same year the Losers made their

first stand against It.

Granted, Pennywise has never seemed to care about the ages of his victims; after all,

Georgie's just six when he's snatched away on the street.

But little Chad is still just a toddler, which makes his probable death even more gruesome.

It's a footnote to the whole story of It, but an especially unsettling one.

Inside Simone Rocha's All-Female Fashion House | In The Studio - Duration: 3:55.

I was never a girly girl.

I think femininity today is about practicality and reality.

We are actually a studio of all women,

which just kind of naturally happened.

It's really empowering, actually,

because being a woman, designing for women,

you'd think that a lot of women are part of the process.

And that's actually the case in this building.

This is the only room in the building which has four walls

and a door, so it's quite private.

This is my golden Irish potato, because I'm Irish.

This is my lucky money.

I was very fortunate to grow up in his studio.

It was my absolute favorite place to be.

I don't do mood boards for a collection, but on this wall,

I have things that are always inspiring me,

or that I'm connected to, like Louise Bourgeois and her big

pink boobs —

which is so amazing, because it's something very feminine,

but they're hard, and it's very sculptural.

I love that contrast.

When I'm in here, it's usually when I have my little sticker on the door,

like do not disturb, which most people ignore.

So this is our sample room, where we do all

our construction of the garments,

and all our pattern cutting.

We're working on all our invitations for the show.

But this season, they're all stitched within the studio.

So you can see the girls here are working on it now.

And then inside here, you can see we're doing handwork

on the collection.

I did one show eight months pregnant,

so it was impossible for it not to really influence

the collection.

We did all these red drippy earrings,

which were supposed to almost be like blood.

And it was all very, very grotesque.

Yeah, but it's a reality.

I want to be very honest with what I do.

I don't want to create a fantasy.

I want to tell a story, and I want to create an emotion.

I really love working alongside my mother.

She is kind of my partner.

And what I've really learned from her is her attention to detail,

and that refinement and elegance is something that is so her,

and something that I love working with her on.

I do feel that slip is very dark.

True.

The fashion industry changes all the time.

Whatever you do is always going to be going in or out

of fashion at some point.

I'm very lucky, because I have grown up around it.

I've seen the industry in so many different guises that

it's given me the confidence to go,

this is how I want to do it.

How to Build a Spruce Treehouse [#2] | Minecraft - Duration: 8:31.

Hi, I'm TheChocolateOre, let's add the foundations,

now a platform,

one house … with

gardens around …

and on the top,

and finally the attic.

Start by placing 7 ladders.

Now, one trapdoor here and then place a few temporary blocks around the trunk.

I want to add here, that the tree has to be at least 24 blocks in height.

Now, place spruce wood just like that.

Finally, remove the temporary blocks.

Place spruce planks around the wood, to form a platform.

And now, 3 upside down spruce stairs around every corner.

Now place a few stone bricks around the base.

Here, I use spruce fences to support the platform on the top.

Just place them in random spots.

As you can see, every pillar is in average 3 blocks wide.

Now, place 2 spruce planks in the middle, and then at the bottom, 2 upside down stone

brick stairs, just like that.

After that put trapdoors around the planks and repeat the whole process for every side.

Now, place 5 stone bricks here, and do the same for every corner.

Now, extend the top of every pillar for every side.

Finally, fill the top with spruce slabs.

Place here, 4 ladders.

Now, I use 4 spruce planks on every side, to make the frame of the window.

After that, use spruce stairs and a few more planks to close the top.

Then do the same for every side of

the house.

Now, fill with glass panes every window.

Place grass blocks with trapdoors around, to make small gardens for every corner.

In order to make this tree house more alive.

Now use flowers and snow for the gardens, and yes I know they contradictory, but for

some reason, I like them.

Now, place a square of grass blocks on the top.

After that, place trapdoors around them, leaving a few gaps in random spots.

Now, place one trapdoor here, and then spruce stairs just like that.

After that, fill the gaps with grass blocks.

Now, place 3 spruce planks left and right.

If there are leaves on the top, remove one line of them.

Now, place spruce stairs on the top of both pillars, and fill the middle with spruce wood

and spruce slabs underneath.

Repeat the same process for every side.

Place a few temporary blocks to make a few shutters.

Randomize it a little bit on every side.

Now, place a few flowers inside.

And of course snow.

Now, let's take a look on the inside.

I decorated the interior, but you can always make it however you like.

Now, as you can see it's not a very big tree house, as I didn't want it to be an

extreme building, supported by a small trunk.

But, that could be a fantasy type tree house, maybe a building for another day.

Of course, I had to make an open second floor with garden.

I really like the garden second floors, and besides that, a floor on the top, provides

you with a nice view of the environment around the tree.

I added one bookshelf here as a decoration block, to give it the vibe you get when you

enter an old dusty attic with books.

On the outside, I really liked how the floors stack and get smaller the higher you go.

I have more videos like this one here.

Now, thank you very much for watching, as I love sharing my designs and you fulfill

that.

So, thank you again.

See you next time.
