hello youtube today I have a lot of just random stuff that I need to get done in

the fish room so chances are you're gonna see something you like a little

something for everyone so sit back relax and let's get to work so we're gonna

start on the 20 gallon long a lot of you may know already some of you don't know

the better that was on this side over here did pass away unexpectedly I did

treat the tank two days ago so we got to do a water change and then we're gonna

put a new bed over there this guy's still doing fine his fins are getting a

bit long I might have to do something about that but still moving around still

eating I'm gonna have to clear out the surface you can see the rikiya is kind

of carpeting the surface so I need to get some more space in there so we can

get to the surface also I need to pull out all of this moss you can see it just

got bladderwort everywhere shrimp are still doing well at one point

I thought I had pulled out all these yellow turns but clearly not there is

also hard to see over here least there was right there is a black really shrimp

on this side so they're still doing well I'm gonna get the hose in here we'll

start a water change and then find a new betta to put on this side I'm not sure

which one I'm gonna pick yet so here are our candidates for that right side you

can see I already pulled out the big clump of rikiya moss that was on the

left side of that tank we got my favorite female here who I'm thinking is

gonna get it but we'll see then we got the rose kale male over here which I

really really like the colors on here he seems to be healing I might keep him in

here just to keep an eye on that a little bit more but the other side of

them is looking much better whoops sorry about that

and then we have another male over here which is just amazing to me now this one

I'm actually giving away so he's not a candidate but this is just to me this is

an excellent excellent fish so it's between the male and the female here and

I might just go to the female just so I can keep an eye on the male a little bit

longer I don't know I'll have to decide though like right now all right I'm

going with the female all right so I got her moved over and lighting on this tank

is really bad so bear with me also we just did a water change so it's nice and

cloudy but here she is so here's something that's a little interesting a

lot of people ask me for low light carpeting plants first of all you see

how dark it is in this tank but we do have micro chain sword growing here and

it was even worse before right whether I had that huge clump of moss in there we

were really not getting any light so the fact that it's even spreading and living

is amazing granted it's going really slow so micro chain sword would be a

good option for a lower light carpeting plant granted it's going to take forever

but eventually it'll carpet for you so I think we're doing pretty well we'll give

this a little time to clear up and maybe check back in a little later so next on

the to-do list is the 30 gallon long planet tank here all these stem plants

that are floating I need to get them planted they've been floating for a

couple of weeks now so it's definitely time the poi betta are still doing well

well everyone here is doing well this one's really starting to look good

though

really liking the pattern on that one really the only one that's got any

pattern so far so it's a slow process I guess all kinds of shrimp in here

everyone's doing well like I said but I gotta we'll get this water drop down so

we can start planting plants so as you can see we got the water level drops

down at the stem plants floating here kind of separated by type let's go the

other way now this one is one that I do know the

name of but for the life of me I just can't remember it's got the nice purple

leaves on there there's I swear all these names are on the tip of my tongue

and I just can't remember them like I've said before they're all gonna go on that

back wall there I'll probably take out these plans that are not doing well and

move them somewhere else and see if they can rebound so I'm gonna put the camera

down and get to work

alright here we are so I know it's not looking that great right now but

remember these plants were floating for about two weeks which is why they look

all scraggly and they're kind of bent they're trying to grow towards the

surface towards the light so it always gets like that however it'll take just a

week or two and they should all straight now be reaching towards the top

hopefully down here those look bro you got it up put no stem or two back there

as well and then this one here the moss is looking pretty bad in my opinion once

these plants get established and straight now I will fix this Moss and

make it look a little better you saw it it pretty much chocolate wall right off

there so kind of interesting looking we'll have to give this probably about a

week or two and then check back in on this tank and hopefully have some good

progress for you so next on the to-do list we've got the 40 gallon trophy as'

work on Boonen tank down here and as you can see somewhere in here right here

there's a holding female I want to get her out put her on a marina and hang on

breeder box so when she's fixed I can save the fry clean off the front of this

glass and just the water change just normal tank maintenance here but I

definitely want to get her out to try to save some of these pride because I think

they look pretty dang good alright so as you can see the tank is a mess but I did

win the battle I do got the female out hard to see right now once we get this

build backed up with water though we'll be able to take a look at her also I did

add a bunch of crushed coral in the back here from some advice of other Tropius

people you know I've had some issues with these trophy is just growing really

slow and was recommended to you throw crushed coral in there just to help with

the water parameters so we'll see how well that works but for now I'm gonna

get this filled back up with water and we'll take a look at this female so last

but not least we got to do a water change on the goldfish tank here patches

is doing great the new guy here named to be determined it's still doing well as

you can see we got a lot of poop to siphon out we got to scrub the glass

just regular take maintenance again so we'll start the water change and I will

back in in case you're wondering no I did not forget about this little female

we were not done with her I just wanted to get the water changing to speed up

the process here on that goldfish tank but what we got to do is make her feel a

little bit more secure and at the same time give a place for the fry to hide

when she spits him so she doesn't eat them and you remember that clump of moss

I took out earlier it is absolutely perfect for this application there we go

it'll also give fry something to feed on when she spits them we'll spread it out

here a little better though there we go there we go now she can hide the fry can

hide everyone will feel secure and we are pretty much set so I decided to do a

quick water change on a 50 gallon low boy here pleco tank simply because it

just needs a water change no scrubbing nothing like that now the reason I want

to talk about this tank is because I'm actually thinking of completely

overhauling this tank and not doing plecos surprisingly see if we can see

any here's a spatula Laura Coria a nice big female there so yes I'm actually

thinking there's another one there another female spatula quería but I'm

actually thinking of getting rid of the plecos and doing a planted tank on here

of all four ground species nice small carpeting species and just changing it

up a bit I don't know let me know what you guys think

I don't really spend a lot of time in this tank there are probably 2025 plug

goes in here and I'm not gonna sell all of them and if I do sell them it will be

locally so don't message me asking if you can buy em I will not ship I will

not make special occasions even though you're telling me how super mega awesome

you are and that you really want them I'm still only gonna sell locally sorry

about that and that's only if I decide to get rid of

but I think it would be fun to play around with a bunch of different

carpeting plants I mean those tanks only ten inches tall so it'd be really easy

obviously this light would have to go I mean it's garbage anyways but so we

upgrade quite a bit well let me know what you think I got to get back to the

goldfish tank before it overflows so as you can see the goldfish tank gets

filled back up and let's do a little recap we can check in on all the tanks

we've worked on hopefully the water is cleared up but let's start at the

beginning let's go take a look at the Vettes all right back where we started

the 20 gallon long divided tank the female she's still in here just cruising

around she's really eyeballing these shrimp though so she might not work out

in here I'm gonna have to keep an eye on her make sure she's not eating shrimp

this guy over here doesn't seem to care about the shrimp at all I haven't seen

him prey on any of them but guppy is still doing well so he's a friendly

little guy he doesn't care really about anything else that's in his tank so

that's nice see if we can see a shrimp somewhere there's one nice blue really

black really I don't remember I've had these for quite a while now got

it from flip aquatics so that's pretty awesome they're still doing well it was

actually a pretty good looking shrimp I think yellow shrimp over here there's

one there another one down there but this is just kind of thrown in here all

haphazardly this random plants random mossy we got java moss we got some

vicitms moss in there but she seems to enjoy it she's been

cruising around and the 30 gallon long is kind of cleared up a little bit

everyone's kind of picking around down here because I didn't drop some food in

there these are the green fire tetras a lot of

people ask me what these are they look just outstanding you can see just a ton

of shrimp and they're almost six nails ember tetra is doing great there's also

neon green Rams borås there's one right there not looking very neon either so

will periodically check in on this tank over the next week or two and just make

sure these plants are doing well just kind of get random updates on this

tank here then we'll go down below this tank still not too cleared up but

everybody is out and about everyone's happy again the female over here we're

not gonna get a very good look at but at least he's not gonna get stressed out by

the other fish she's made kind of cruising along scraping along the bottom

there I don't know why but she must be having fun I don't know that's something

on this guy's lips here pretty common on these finish if you got something on the

lips like that guy they're just the colorings little off if they do dual

they do grab each other by the mouth and push each other back and forth it's kind

of funny but well I wonder if the auto feeder just went off maybe now the

goldfish tank still hasn't really cleared up that much and it probably

won't for a while just running on sponge filter here so it's gonna take some time

love love love this fish absolutely beautiful fish and this guy seems to be

doing a lot better he was really mopey kind of emo when I first got him as we

get out of focus there oh all right apparently I lost that screener in there

grab that but definitely doing a lot better he's up and down swimming all

around so pretty happy about that and just a quick reminder on the pleco tank

here let me know if you guys want me to switch this up and do like a planet tank

with a bunch of different carpeting foreground plants I think would be kind

of fun to try out see if we can see anything else besides a special or

acharya probably not I'm gonna have to get a flashlight one of these days and

come out here at night there's a multi shell dweller somehow living in this

really low PH tank there's not a little we probably missed it see in the

background probably can't see but the heel poking his head out alright so

How to install custom firmware (Luma3DS) on Nintendo 3DS under firmware 9.0 - 11.3 - Duration: 10:45.

This is my New Nintendo 3DS XL

It is running stock firmware 11.2, and it is an American console.

We will install custom firmware or Luma3DS on this console.

Make sure it is connected to the internet.

Turn off the console

Now we will need to remove the micro SD card from the console

Flip the console, then use a philips screw driver to unlock the battery cover.

Then remove the micro SD card.

Open your web browser and open this link

Download the boot.3dsx file

Copy that file and paste it on the desktop

Open the soundhax URL

My console is an American New 3DS XL

So I chose USA, New 3DS XL then download the M4A file

Copy that file and paste it on the desktop

Finally, open the otherapp URL

I chose New, 11.2.0-35U then download the otherapp file.

Copy that file and paste it on the desktop

Then rename the otherapp file to otherapp.bin

Copy those three files on the desktop into the console's micro SD card.

Reinsert the micro SD card to the console.

Turn on the console

Run Nintendo 3DS Sound

Press Next,Next then OK

Navigate to SDCARD.

Then play the nedwill 2016 file.

If successfully done, you will be at OCS

Press A to continue

OCS will automatically do its job.

You might see this glitched screen. Just wait a while.

Enter the given combo keys to continue.

Press A to continue.

As you are on Luma3DS configuration screen, choose Show NAND or user string in System Settings.

Then press Start to reboot the console.

Open System Settings

You will see that there is a Sys prefix in front of the firmware version.

It means that the custom firmware is running on SysNAND

Press Other Settings

Then choose System Update.

Updating the system won't break the custom firmware.

So it is very safe to update the console to the latest firmware

Please be patient while updating the system.

Press OK to reboot the console

Open the Download Play app

Press L button, Down button and Select button to open the Rosalina menu.

Select Miscellaneous options.

We will now temporarily set the Download Play app as OCS app.

Choose the first options

Press B button several times then press Home button

Then choose close to exit this app

Open the Download Play app again.

If everything done correctly, you will be back at OCS.

Press A to continue

OCS will download all the necessary files automatically.

Please be patient

Press Start to exit OCS.

Press Home button while in the Homebrew Launcher

Press OK

Then press the Download Play app and choose Close.

You can unwrap all the installed titles.

Run the DSP1 app

Press B to delete this app and exit to home menu.

Now you need to turn off the console.

Press Start and Power button while turning on the console to enter Godmode9

Press A to create the Essential files backup.

Press A to continue

Press Home button then choose Scripts..

Choose setup ctrnand luma3ds

Press A to confirm

Press A again to unlock SysNAND

Enter the given combo keys to continue

Press A to continue

Press A again to relock SysNAND

Press Home button then choose Scripts..

Choose Backup SysNAND

Press A to continue

It will take a while to dump the SysNAND

Press A to continue

Press R button and B button to unmount the micro SD card

Remove the micro SD card and insert it to the computer

Create a folder in the desktop (or anywhere in your computer) and you may name it Backup folder

Copy the NAND backup which is located inside the out folder of the gm9 folder

and paste it to the backup folder

Reinsert the micro SD card to the console

Press Home button then choose Scripts..

Choose cleanup sd card

Press A to confirm

Press A to continue

Then press Start to reboot the console

Congratulation, you have successfully modded your 3DS.

From this point, you can install all unsigned apps and games without any problems.

These employees have seen a weird shape of a woman on this CCTV camera, standing in the

parking garage next door.

Was it a ghost ? Another CCTV camera captured this strange

looking figure, walking by a local gas station.

An employee saw it with his own eyes, as he approached this being.

A nightguard caught this moving balloon in a hospital in the middle of the night.. maybe

Pennywise wants to make his presence known ?

A woman heard strange noises in her bedroom all day, so she decided to put up her camera,

and see if it actually could capture anything out of the ordinary.

A boy who was seemingly haunted by something chilly.

He believes that it was a poltergeist.

ESPN President: 'Jemele Hill's Trump Tweets Violated Social Media Policy' - Duration: 2:38.

For Complex News, I'm Hanuman Welch,

John Skipper, the President of ESPN, has released a memo to employees addressing the continuing

shit show caused by Jemele Hill tweeting that Trump and his white supremacist sympathies

are emboldening violent racists across the country.

In the statement, Skipper reminded ESPN employees that they are to only speak of sports and

not politics on their social media accounts, writing.

"ESPN is not a political organization.

[W]e have social media policies which require people to understand that social platforms

are public and their comments on them will reflect on ESPN.

At a minimum, comments should not be inflammatory or personal.

We had a violation of those standards in recent days and our handling of this is a private

matter."

ESPN's reprimand of Jemele Hill is a stark reminder of how white supremacy is in firm

control of the entertainment media complex.

Hill's tweets call out exactly the position Skipper and ESPN has taken in the memo.

Hill remarked that white people are afforded the privilege of being apolitical under a

white supremacist society as the violence, bigotry, and hate that stems from such a system

does not hurt the group that is in power.

Hill wrote;

"The height of white privilege is being able to ignore his white supremacy, because it's

of no threat to you.

Well, it's a threat to me."

In an absolutely unprecedented move, the White House responded directly to Hill's tweets.

Trump tweeted out a condemnation of Hill rather than one of the white supremacy she called

out.

Trump, in typical Trump fashion, claimed without any proof that ESPN's ratings were suffering

due to Hill's comments.

"ESPN is paying a really big price for its politics (and bad programming).

People are dumping it in RECORD numbers.

Apologize for untruth!"

Square-headed substitute math teacher and Trump mouthpiece, Sarah Huckabee Sanders told

reporters that that a tweet from Hill calling the president a "white supremacist" was

a "fireable offense" but now Sanders has been hit with an ethics complaint following

for Hill's firing.

The Democratic Coalition, a super PAC filed an ethic complaint against the current White

House Press secretary.

According to the Wrap,

"When Sarah Huckabee Sanders called for Jemele Hill to be fired by ESPN, she crossed

the line and put herself in dubious legal territory.

For Sanders to publicly call for the dismissal of a Trump critic is bizarre and disturbing,

to say the least.If anyone is to be fired, it should be her."

The PAC cited a federal law, which states that certain government employees — including

any executive branch employee — are prohibited from influencing the employment decisions

or practices of a private entity or company "solely on the basis of partisan political

affiliation."

Breaking the law is punishable by a fine or up to 15 years in prison, or both.

Geometry: Beginning Proofs (Level 1 of 3) | Algebra Proofs, Geometric Proofs - Duration: 9:33.

Beginning Proofs Level 1 In the following series of videos we will

learn how to write simple two-column proofs.

The two-column proof also known as a statement-reason proof, is the main type of proof that we will

use as we continue learning the concepts in geometry.

Traditionally, students do not encounter formal proofs until they take this geometry course.

In reality if you solved an equation in a beginning algebra course and have justified

steps in those solutions then you already have the experience necessary to create and

present mathematical proofs.

A proof is a convincing mathematical argument.

This means that any person, who understands the terminology, accepts the definitions and

premises of the mathematics involved, and thinks in a logically correct fashion could

not deny the validity of the conclusions drawn.

When describing the solution of an equation as an algebraic proof, the premises for the

proof are the given equation, the properties of equality, and the properties of real numbers.

These premises may be used as justifications for each step in the solution of an equation.

The process is analogous to the process used when writing geometric proofs.

An algebraic proof uses algebraic properties of equality.

Recall from your beginning algebra course that the properties of equality include the

addition property of equality, subtraction property of equality, multiplication property

of equality, division property of equality, reflexive property of equality, symmetric

property of equality, transitive property of equality and substitution property of equality.

An algebraic proof also uses the distributive property.

An important part of writing a proof involves the justification of every step.

For example say that we want to solve the following equation and we are asked to prove

it.

We start our two column proof by writing the equation on the left column as follows; we

will write all of our statements on the left column creating a new line for each statement.

On the right column we will write out our reasons or justifications of the statements

from the left column.

Each statement must be numbered and correspond to a reason which has the same number as the

statement in the left column.

Each numbered statement and reason must originate on the same line.

Usually the first statements in a proof will be given to you in this case we are given

this equation so the justification or reason for this statement will be given equation.

Next we proceed in solving the equation so we first apply the distributive property and

distribute 2 into each term; we then write the reason or justification for this step

in this case we write distributive property since we applied the distributive property

to obtain the new statement.

Next we subtract 2 from both sides of the equation and simplify, now this is where many

students make a very common mistake, many students would write subtracted 2 from both

sides as a reason or justification, this would be an incorrect reason, the correct reason

needs to make use of the properties of equality in this case we used the subtraction property

of equality.

The justification for each step is not simply a description of the operation but rather

a general mathematical principle, so make sure you use a mathematical principal as a

justification.

The last step is to divide both sides of the equation by 6 doing that we obtain x equals

5, for our justification we write Division property of equality and not divide by 6.

Like Algebra, geometry also uses numbers, variables and operations.

For example, segment lengths and angle measures are numbers.

So you can use these same properties of equality to write algebraic proofs in geometry.

We will begin to formalize the study of geometry by going over very basic proofs and then add

subsequent layers of complexity as we continue with our studies of geometry.

The geometry concepts presented in these videos are largely based on the ideas set forth more

than 2000 years ago by the Greek mathematician Euclid.

His series of books, Elements, is the first known work in which a logical, deductive system

of reasoning is used as a means of unifying all mathematical knowledge.

In that spirit, geometric proofs will help us learn how to build a logically coherent

system of facts by using deductive reasoning.

Geometry is based on an axiomatic system.

A modern axiomatic system begins with a small set of undefined terms and builds through

the addition of definitions and postulates to the point where many rich mathematical

theorems can be proved.

In an axiomatic system, we agree to leave some terms undefined and then build definitions

of other terms and postulates from those undefined terms.

Undefined terms can be described but cannot be given precise definitions using simple

known terms.

Three undefined terms in geometry are point, line, and plane.

Recall that a point is a circular dot that is shrunk until it has no size.

A line is formed by an infinite number of points, it also has an infinite length so

we denote this idea by using arrowheads; also a line has no thickness.

A plane is a sheet of paper formed by an infinite number of points with no thickness and extending

infinitely in all directions.

Although a plane has no edges, we usually picture a plane by drawing a four-sided figure.

We often label a plane with a capital letter.

These descriptions provide a way for us to visualize points, lines and planes, but they

are not definitions.

We define space to be the set of all points.

Any collection of points is called a geometric figure.

In particular, lines and planes are composed of points, and hence are geometric figures.

Postulates are statements that we assume to be true.

Postulates state relationships among defined and undefined terms.

The purpose of stating postulates is to establish some first principles upon which the subject

of geometry is based.

After introducing postulates and some definitions, we may deduce new results.

Results that we deduce from undefined terms, definitions, postulates or results that follow

from them are commonly called theorems.

A theorem is a mathematical statement that can be proved.

Geometric proofs provide the logical structure that supports an increasingly complex and

powerful set of theorems.

In a general geometric proof, the premises are definitions, postulates, properties and

previously proven theorems.

The early theorems in these videos may seem trivial and writing proofs for such apparently

obvious statements can seem strange at first but it is important to understand that theses

theorems will be needed for later work.

The goal of this and subsequent videos is to provide an opportunity so you can become

familiar with the key elements of a proof.

These proofs will become more complex as we continue with our studies of Geometry.

When writing a geometric proof, you use deductive reasoning to create a chain of logical steps

that move from the hypothesis to the conclusion of the conjecture you are proving.

By proving that the conclusion is true, you have proven that the original conjecture is

true.

When writing a proof, it is important to justify each logical step with a reason.

You can use symbols and abbreviations, but they must be clear enough so that anyone who

reads your proof will understand them.

A geometric proof begins with GIVEN and PROVE statements, which restate the hypothesis and

conclusion of the conjecture respectively.

In a two-column proof, you list the steps of the proof in the left column.

You then write the matching reason for each step in the right column.

Before you start writing a proof, you should plan out your logic.

If a diagram for a proof is not provided, draw your own and mark the given information

on it.

But do not mark the information in the prove statement on the diagram since this is what

we trying to prove.

One Minute Wisdoms - The Mental Health Continuum - Duration: 1:12.

We treat depression like an on off switch, you're depressed, you're not depressed, you're

depressed, you're not depressed.

I was so happy to finally switch to off to 'not depressed' but I soon realised my life was

still pretty shitty, I wasn't depressed but I certainly wasn't mentally well.

That's also when I realised that mental health isn't an on/off switch, it's actually

a continuum.

A continuum that runs from zero, being dead, to 100 being god-like enlightenment and we are ALL somewhere on that continuum.

If you spend too much time down the bottom that's called 'depression'.

The point is, you don't want to spend your life at 30 on the scale either.

It is everyone's job to move themselves as far up the continuum as possible.

The further up you go the better parent you become, the better father, brother, worker, whatever.

Basically, you become a better member of society.

Want to lead a happier and more fulfilling life?

Want to actually change the world?

Then move yourself up the continuum and watch your life change for the better

and everyone around you follow your lead.
