My story: Things I wish people knew about anxiety and depression - Duration: 4:12.

Hello everyone, if this is your first time watching my channel, my name is

Lonnie and I am a mental health YouTube vlogger. Today is actually I'm going to

be doing something different first of all I'm not going to edit this

video because I just don't have time because I promised an upload by 10 p.m.

Central Standard Time and work ran a little over today so I'm going to be as

it is whatever you're going to see me exactly as the video is going to be this

is actually going to be part of a series than a few rest if it's going to be

edited and stuff and better but this one's kind of rushed I wanted to do a

series about anxiety and to start off with I thought I'd tell you about my

earlier early life experience with anxiety and how its kind of affected me

and the later on we'll go on about things I've done to help lessen the load

of it but right now we're just kind of talked about its early development as a

kid I suffered from a lot of anxiety I mean

I was abused kid so I wasn't very good around people I had the social phobia of

people didn't want to talk I was one of those kids that little shy kid that

tried to hide in the back of the room didn't want to talk to anybody didn't

have any friends all that part of it was because of abuse

part of it was also because my family was like they're not a lot of talk and

laugh you know unless you're spoken to those kind of things which really sucked

I've had some embarrassing incidents like I was like a seven year old I fell

off of a stage a church and everybody laughed at me and then let me live that

down for example I went running and my parents fell down and people made fun of

me for a long time after that there's lots of issues as far as

self-esteem goes which created my social anxiety but I also have the generalized

anxiety disorder both of which suck I can't really go to the grocery store

unless I have like headphones in my ears with music playing because I want to

excuse not to talk to people same thing with waiting rooms that kind

of thing even if there's nothing actually playing I just want them to

think that there's something playing because honestly how often you talk to

somebody who has headphones on when I finally got diagnosed when I was in my

late 20s with you know bipolar as well as the anxiety they did give me quite a

few different medications so far the one that works best is the one I'm currently

taking but I've tried like buspar I've tried blood I love ham I've tried love

razor pound we're now I'm on xanax and it seems to be helping the most but

quite honestly the thing that helps me most is living the hermit life which

sucks because my heart longs to be around people and talk and socialize but

my mind won't like me but more on that later so if you have anxiety please go

short because work happens life happens I work from home got to watch the movies

as part of my work but kind of awesome but still kind of sucked because it was

like you know five six hours sitting at a desk in your house but please go ahead
