Ben Gurion airport flooded! | Asher Intrater | Revive Israel - Duration: 2:41.

There was a new world record that happened this week.

No, I'm not talking about Usain Bolt and Gatlin and all that,

I'm talking about Israel's airport, Ben-Gurion.

It was the first time in history that over 100,000 people

passed through the Ben-Gurion airport in Tel Aviv in one day.

Now, that may not be a lot for a big city like New York or Hong Kong or Paris or London,

but for Israel, this was a new record.

What does that mean?

Well, on the one hand, for Israelis it means it's really hot here!

This is August, and people want to get out of here.

Well that's one thing.

Another thing is it means that Israelis have enough money that they can get out of here,

and that it's so expensive here in Israel to go on vacation during August,

that it's cheaper for people to fly, usually to Eastern Europe or Southern Europe to go on vacation.

That's some of the practical issues.

It also means that people from the outside, in Europe, America, Asia,

are feeling that it's safe to come to Israel, either for pilgrimage or vacation.

That's amazing!

Not only safe, but it's attractive,

so people from around the world are starting to come up to Israel.

Now, there's something also interesting about that,

within all those people that are coming to Israel,

a large number of them are, of course Christians, of all different types.

There's a lot of Catholic pilgrims that come up to see the Old City,

and there's Protestants and Pentecostals and everyone,

but a lot of Christians are coming up to Israel on vacation to see the holy sites and so on.

It also means that within Israel, they're seeing the importance of tourism as a base of the economy,

and also being aware of the fact that Christian tourism, and all of its different parts,

is a pretty solid foundation of that enterprise, and that type of money coming into the country.

Well that's interesting. Does it have any spiritual significance?

Well, I would just say this:

It seems that in both the End Times prophecy and in the book of Acts,

a lot of the Kingdom of God is about going into Israel, and going out of Israel.

Jesus said that the Gospel would go from Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria to the ends of the world,

and then the kings of world would come up back to Jerusalem,

and before this can happen spiritually,

there has to be a physical and sociological and economic infrastructure for that to happen.

So, what I'm saying is, it's interesting to see this traffic coming into Israel and out of Israel, through the airport.

It seems to be laying the foundation for a spiritual movement that's coming into Israel and out of Israel as we go into the end times.

It's kind of interesting, keep it in prayer. We love you.

DIANA: I used to want to save the world.

To end war and bring peace to mankind.

But then I glimpsed the darkness that lives within their light

and learned that inside every one of them,

there will always be both.

A choice each must make for themselves.

Something no hero will ever defeat.

And now I know

that only love can truly save the world.

So, I stay,

I fight, and I give,

for the world I know can be.

This is my mission now.

Forever.

How Authors Can Use Video to Promote a Textbook - Duration: 4:58.

Hi there.

I am John Bond from Riverwinds Consulting and this is Publishing Defined.

Today I am going to talk about academic authors using video to promote their textbook or monograph.

It has always been a responsibility of authors in trade publishing to help to market and

promote their books.

This is even more so in the social media saturated, attention-crowded world today.

Scholarly book authors may not be accustomed to this, but those that can summon the interest

and enthusiasm can benefit from these efforts in many ways.

Using video is one way to promote a textbook or monograph, but is increasingly becoming

the preferred method.

For authors to be successful long term, they need to think of themselves as a brand and

to have a platform for their ideas and their work and this includes a website and social

media.

This is true for researchers and authors even if they are not authoring a book.

Here are some ideas for an individual to use videos to promote a textbook or monograph:

First is the classic author interview.

It might just be the author speaking or the author and an interviewer.

Talk about what role the book serves, how and where to use in a curriculum, features

and benefits, and more.

Second, create a video about who you are.

Books, many times, are about a human connection between the author and the reader or instructor.

You might want to include how you came to write the book or become interested in the

subject.

Third, take a look inside the book.

Photos of the cover and the highly visual pages can be helpful.

Point out features such as keywords, exercises, key concepts, whatever the book has.

Include views of supplemental student and instructor's material if available.

Show don't tell.

Fourth, demonstrate, by yourself, or with students how to use the book.

Get releases for including others in the video.

Email me for a sample release.

If the book is not for classroom use, you can talk to someone about the book and what

they found interesting about it.

Fifth, have another instructor explain how they use the book in their course.

Perhaps talk about the classroom activities they use.

Sixth, throw a book signing or launch event and film some very short clips of it.

Overall, keep the videos short, maybe three to five minutes each.

Some might be longer.

Be mindful of the background, external noises, and lighting.

Simply experiment and it is easy to get it right.

Two important comments on these suggestions.

Look at other author created videos and see what you like and don't like.

Look at your book competitors and see what kind of marketing materials or videos they

have.

This will help you position your work.

Don't be shy in highlighting differences between your book and other ones in the marketplace,

in general or by title.

It is completely fair to say, for example, your book is the only book that comes with

PowerPoints, or something similar.

Of course, coordinate all these efforts with your publisher.

Make sure you are working in harmony with them, and not at cross purposes.

Make sure they link to and promote the videos that you do and vice versa.

Be mindful of any copyrighted material you might be using and that you have permission.

Create a channel for all your videos at a website such as YouTube or Vimeo.

Link the videos to your website or home page at your university or institution.

Connect all your videos to your social media efforts and let your institution know about

them as they might promote the videos as well.

Videos can be very, very easy to create.

All of my videos were done with a cell phone and a simple tripod.

I read off a teleprompter app on my phone.

The videos can be edited online using free video editing software you likely already

have access to.

None of this is technical or difficult and you likely know people in your life that this

is second nature for who can show you.

If not, there are many YouTube videos that explain it all in step-by-step detail.

Above all, let your passion and excitement come through in the videos.

Your enthusiasm will help sell the book.

And always show the book cover.

Well that's it.

Hit the Like button below if you enjoyed this video.

Please subscribe to my YouTube channel or click on the playlist on starting a YouTube

channel.

And make comments below or email me with questions.

Thank so much and take care.

How to Preach the Gospel | Asher Intrater | Revive Israel - Duration: 1:54.

I want to talk to you about the difference between what I call "The Prince" and "principles".

What am I talking about?

I'm talking about young people learning how to teach the Bible and give messages in the congregation.

We're blessed that in almost all of our situations in our congregations in Israel, Tel AvIv, Jerusalem,

at our team at Revive Israel and even across the world in Tikkun,

we're raising up a lot of young people, well, at least younger than I am,

to preach and to teach.

One thing I told them is that I noticed that there's a tendency

when young people begin to preach and teach, that they talk about the principles of scripture.

They take any topic and they deal with it.

It could be faithfulness, it could be giving, it could be holiness, it could be faith.

It could be authority, and they speak of those principles.

But I said when you talk about the principles, don't forget the Prince, which is Yeshua.

In other words, it's not just what He taught, but Who He is.

The person who gave us those teachings and gave us those principles

is actually more important than the principles themselves.

Why? Because actually today, almost any person that knows a lot about coaching,

or positive psychology, or even religious cults, could talk about the different principles in the Bible,

But they'll never get you to the Person.

We want to not just talk about the principles, but the Person who gave us those things.

The Person who gave us the Torah is more important than the Torah itself.

The Prince who gave us the principles is more important.

So I say, listen, whenever you're going to talk about different issues in the Bible,

make sure that you always return to the centrality of the Person.

God loves us, sent his Son, the Kingdom is given into Yeshua as the Messiah,

and we will always want to bring the issue back to Him personally,

and not just talk about the principles that he's taught. So keep that in mind when you prepare your message too.

From Cooperation to Covenant - Duration: 2:53.

Well I want to talk a little bit about the stages today

that we've been going through

with our Arab Christian friends.

This really started many decades ago

all the way back in 1979, when we first started doing reconciliation meetings.

We did reconciliation meetings up until about the year 2000,

and then to tell you the truth, I got kind of tired of them.

I thought that we weren't going anywhere.

And then I said "that's it. I'm not going to reconciliation meetings any more."

And then we prayed, and we felt around the year 2000 or so,

that the Lord had showed us there's something beyond reconciliation, and that's cooperation.

What's the difference? With reconciliation you get out of the negative numbers.

You forgive one another, we're brothers in the Lord.

Great, you're over there, I'm over here. We don't have any more fighting.

But cooperation is saying "No. Let's do something together."

Let's begin to co-operate. Operate together.

And what we felt that the Lord was showing us

was that we - as Messianic Jews - should support Arab Christians, in evangelism to Muslims.

That's where we started, and it's grown more and more and more.

Well it's interesting that over these last 2 to 3 years,

something deeper has been happening.

First of all with Malek and Susan on our staff,

our dear friends Bassem and Jessra,

and Andreas and many others,

and with David Demian and the Global Gathering,

and particularly some new friends of ours in Egypt,

which I'm not going to mention their names for their own security's sake.

But we've grown into a deeper relationship, and

recently we were having a meeting with Arab leaders from around the whole Middle East.

It was really amazing. We got to a level of mutual commitment,

higher than I've ever seen before.

We held hands and we said "this is covenant!"

And all of a sudden I realized, there's another level beyond cooperation.

Cooperation says "You have yours. I have mine."

And we'll see if we can work together."

But Covenant says "No no no. We're together. What's yours is mine

and what's mine is yours."

And that jumps you up to a whole other level.

And we are really believing,

as we made a commitment to one another,

a covenantal commitment to one another -

"What's mine is yours, and what's yours is mine!"

And we said, "we're going to give ourselves to see revival in the Arab world,

and then after that we'll see revival in the Jewish world."

And we believe there's a deeper level:

first reconciliation, then cooperation,

and then partnership, or mutual identification, or covenant.

Not where we're saying "you have yours, and I have mine, and we'll work together."

But we're saying "what's yours is mine, and what's mine is yours."

We want to pray that for everybody, but particularly here in the Middle East.

There's a revival going on, and this is part of it.

Does God test us? - Duration: 5:48.

Well, we were just talking with our team here about the idea of:

"Test or Temptation"!

Does God even test us?

We're talking about when we pray everyday in Matthew 6: "The Lord lead us not into temptation."

I just realized I don't even believe that!

I don't believe that God leads me into temptation.

But it says that obviously He does.

And then we thought about that in Matthew chapter 4, it said that

"the Holy Spirit led Yeshua into the wilderness to be tested by the devil."

OK who did this? Was this God or the devil? So we realize that there is such a thing as testing.

But there's two sides of it.

There's a positive side to tests, in which God wants to lift you up up up up up...

and there's a negative side to tests, in which the world, the flesh, and the devil want to bring you down down down down.

But all the people of God, from the beginning in the book of Genesis to the end in the book of Revelation -

there's nobody, I can't think of anyone in the whole Bible that didn't go through testing.

Testing is part of our faith because God wants to increase our faith.

I'm thinking maybe it's like somebody that's training to be a good boxer.

What you do is you give them a small opponent and then a bigger opponent and then a bigger opponent and then a bigger...

You're not doing that so the guy will get knocked out. You're doing it so that he can win the gold.

So God gives us these tests.

And I thought about it in sort of a little ladder of five steps.

The highest step is that God wants to glorify us with light and fire and power and beauty, Hallelujah!

And one down from that - the second level - is that He wants to give us victory.

Give us tests so we can win and have victory.

The next one down after that - the third rung - is He wants to purify our hearts.

He wants to give us a pure heart in our attitude and in our desires.

And then the fourth level down is if we're sinning,

He wants to bring us to repentance of that sin.

He can give us a test to show us the bad results - the damage of our sin - to make us stop sinning.

And then you have the fifth level down - which is the worst level - which is punishment.

God brings punishment on someone who is past the point of even being willing to repent.

So when we think about that, we saw:

what's an example of somebody getting punished?

That lowest level is like Pharaoh after he had been tested ten times to repent and he didn't do it.

God opened up the Red Sea and said "Hey you want to attack?

You're going to do it, not Me."

And Pharaoh failed even that test, and he got punished.

God was not trying to make him repent at that moment.

He was making him repent during the ten plagues. That was the repentance test.

This was a punishment test.

And when God says "I'm going to bring all the nations against Jerusalem

on the day of the Second Coming, I'm going to bring them." That's His test.

Not to get them to repent, but to destroy them.

The step up we then - from the fourth level - is when we're doing something wrong, and...

...we're not repenting. What does God do?

The test is basically just to let the results of what we're doing happen to us.

He just takes His hand off of us for a moment to let you see what you're doing.

"You drink all the time and you still drive?

"I'm helping you not to have an accident, but sooner or later, getting you to stop drinking is more important to Me."

So it's not that He makes you have an accident.

But He just allows you to see the results of what you're doing wrong.

And the next level up is to be purified.

I like something that Liat said about that, it says in John 15 that those who are bearing fruit

He prunes you and purifies you.

It's not because you're doing something wrong, but it's because you're doing something good.

And that purifying has to do with our heart. That's for people that are not sinning.

And God says "It's not enough that you don't sin. I want to have not just 'not sinning.'

I want you to have a pure heart. I want you not to want to sin."

There's a lot of us that we don't sin, but we want to sin. Now He says "That's not good enough."

He said "That's that third level. I want to get to purify your heart."

Now when your heart gets pure,

then He can give you the next level of a victory.

Like we saw David and Goliath.

He brings Goliath. It's a monster, cursing, it's a test!

And David: "But why did God bring that?"

"Because you know, here's My boy David.

He's going to knock that giant down. You know the bigger they come the harder they fall, come on!

And so he knocked him down. That was an opportunity for victory.

And then there's a level even above that,

which is Glorification.

And that's what Yeshua did on the Cross.

And He said "Father not My will. But if this is what You want, I'll do it." And He said "In this I will be glorified."

And when you give yourself totally to obey God, it's even more than victory.

It's even that you're willing to go through

difficulties, attacks, persecution, suffering to get to the victory.

You come out of that so pure that God can give you glory and power and honor,

and it's not even going to bother your heart, Hallelujah!

So these are the tests of God

God brings everyone into tests, and it's better that you know it so you can pass the tests.

You can sometimes pass a test if you don't get prepared,

but usually you get a better chance to pass a test if you prepare yourself.

So let's see this: God tests everybody.

On every test there's two sides.

God wants to bring you up up up up

and the world, the flesh, and the devil want to bring you down down down.

And the worst level is punishment.

If you're not punished, you can repent.

If you've repented, then you can purify your heart.

If your hearts are pure, then you can have victory.

And if you even had the victory, God can bring you to another place:

of being glorified with His honor and power.

Amen.

RUSSIANS REACT TO FRENCH MUSIC | PNL - Jusqu'au dernier gramme - Part. Finale | REACTION - Duration: 19:23.

Yoyoyo hello everybody, we're back for the part 4

I'm trying to remember the storyline

The young brother bought a gun and the other brother got stabbed

And the red hair guy went somewhere

Somebody was shooting at them in the 3rd part

This is the red hair guy

Somebody is giving him a new ball

He's thinking about his past

This dude looks familiar

My mom said that PNL is the modern Enigma

She liked PNL

He wants to buy weed?

These dudes were shooting at them

They both got on the train

The music is so nice, I'm in trance

Damn

Who is this guy?

Come on, come on

That's the mother

I'm gonna lose my mind if they have new characters here

She looks older than before

It's sad that there's no subtitles

Peacemaker

In the club

Some party

Cool party

The girl is like...

He has huge lips

Fire and smoke

This guy is on the run

What the hell?

It's a flashback again? -Yes, black&white is the past

I often can't understand what is going on

Who is it? What is this?

They're handing in the club

But his mind is elsewhere

First time. My face looked the same when I drank cognac for the first time

He's seeing his brothers

So one of them is in prison, the other one is in the hospital

He's drunk

Oh, he has a gun on him! Oh, right he bought one

What are you doing?

There's nobody there

That's him again

Time to go home. It's morning already

It sucks that there's no subtitles

C = caring

They love to have long hair

I think it's an arabic thing

Franco-arabic thing

Black guys there like straight hair too

I can't understand hidden meanings

Fucking pigs

His face looked funny

That cop is a maniac

That dude is very mad

Music!

The song is dope

Even my mom said this music is good

Ahhh, that's his name Naha

And the second one is Macha

Hiding, hiding

They're gonna rob them

Nice

It's the red hair guy, yeah yeah

Aaaaah, did you see that big booty girl with him?

Yeah, juicy ass

Surprise!

What are you doing fool?

He's gonna shoot his leg

I was right

You can see that the kid isn't a killer

He took a photo?

That blunt is huge

I think it's a cigar

He's spanking him with a belt? -I guess

For getting arrested

The actors in these videos are great

All the actors

Is that his mom in the photo?

He even dropped the belt

Damn dude, wtf?

Is he an idiot?

He is an idiot

I'm in shock -He kicked him out of the house

It's his step dad I think, he doesn't care

This is Naha

This guy? -Yes

And Naha is his friend

They found each other

He came to the hospital?

Aahhh, motherfucker!

They're coming to kill him

It's gonna be "surptise motherfucker!"

Remember the first or second part?

Ah no, they came too late

So the red hair guy came to see that brother? -Yeah

Cops again

Ah shit

Were cops looking for them or what?

I don't know, maybe it's because of the stolen car

Run bro, cops are following us

Why can't they just leave the car?

They wanna split up

The neighborhood looks nice -Yeah, beautiful

Rich people live there -You think?

He changed his clothes like Hitman

So his friend got arrested?

I still don't know why they arrested him -Maybe for the stolen car

"He just looked suspicious" - cops always say that

Onizuka is an amazing song by the way

I've listened to that song so many times

See? Bene is the young brother and Onizuka is the one in the hospital

Their music is so beautiful

Damn, it's been almost 30 minutes

I didn't even notice

Because it's not a regular music video

Wait, so they used to be friends

Who?

That guy in the car is the brother that's in prison

Yeah, I guess they had beef

What is he giving them?

Money? Or hashish

It's a soap

Oh, that's why they all live in the same neighborhood

What is this backpack?

I think the young brother is now gonna come up to him

The ending is close

I wanted a happy ending

Did he burn the money?

He will realize... wait, it's some other dude

I still can't understand who this dude is

And he was at the beginning with the other guy with the gun. Who are they?

He burned the money

The young brother is coming

He's dead

Aaah, he doesn't have a gun

Who the hell is this dude?

Somebody's gonna drop the cup

It's so intriguing

His mom will scream and he will not shoot

His brother is getting out of prison

Who is this?

WHO THE FUCK IS THIS GUUUUUUUUUUYYYYYYYYY??????????

It might the third guy but I am not sure

We need to watch all the episodes at once

He got out of prison

He has a big beard now

He has a funny looking hat

He's awakening

He was in a coma

What happened to the young brother?

I think he killed that guy

So many times I was like: "Who is this? And who is that?"

So many characters and they all look similar: Long hair, beard etc

They look almost the same

And there always new characters in every new part

Especially the 3rd part -Yeah, the 3rd one is crazy

I think they could make the 3rd part just 5 minutes long

I this part I actually could understand most of the things

I could understand what he was thinking and what he was doing

But the ending is unclear

Did he shoot him or not. Or somebody killed the little brother?

I hate it when they leave a mystery. Maybe there's gonna be a 5th part

They can make a 1h30min part

I will not be surprised if they do that

If this is the final, then I wanna know: did he kill that man or not?

If he killed him then I'd be satisfied with the ending

But they didn't show it. Somebody fired a gun but who got shot?

Yeah, is the little brother alive or not?!

Why did they show only two brothers at the end?

And who was the third guy that was sitting on a chair at the end?

And he was standing with a gunman at the beginning. I still don't know who they are

But at least now I understand the names of the first 3 episodes

Those are the names of the 3 brothers

The music is amazing

The songs are great as well. Onizuka and Bene, I played them 15 times

PNL have message in their songs

And the actors were incredibly great

But the third part was so weird: too many characters

And I got mad because of the ending in the final part

But other than that, everything is amazing. Great job

This song is dope too. I will listen to it separately

Because I wasn't paying much attention to it

I was busy watching the video

Out of all 4 soungs, I like this one the most

Let us know in the comments, who was that dude at the end?

And please explain the ending to us

We hope that you enjoyed these 15-20 minutes

And liked our reaction

I thing French movies are the best

And these 4 videos were amazingly made

Big heart for you guys!

We love you

ردة فعل كوريين على احمد شيبة - اه لو لعبت يا زهر والراقصة الا كوشنير - Duration: 7:53.

Hey guys this is Steve

Do you like K-pop idols such as BTS, EXO, and Twice?

I am a huge fan of these idols

A new application has been released for K-pop lovers!

It is an application called Peeper

Peeper is an application where you send messages and share images with friends

however, nowadays many of K-pop idols use this application to interact with their fans

Also if you look at the right hand corner, there is what's called "Feed" function

your pressing Feed button will show your support for K-pop idols and it will be reflected by the Billboard to measure the popularity of the idols.

Hope you get chance to support your beloved idols

I am also on Peeper so come find me!

and now let's continue on with reaction video!

Let's Start!

Ahmed Sheba - Ah Law Leabt Ya Zahr Dancer!

So there is...

Allah within the name! Would this be the Allah we know?

I am not gonna comment on that

I'm sorry, it's my fault

Oh right! this dance what was it..?

Belly dance!

Right! Is belly dance from Arabic countries?

Isn't it India?

India~ I see

I was just curious

Can they dance so seductively?!

I think it's a show

This is too much

It's a dance!

I know, but do they have dance moves like this?

A method to express beauty by the Arabic countries perhaps?

Is she the singer?

NO WAY!

Dancing while singing

Is she a singer?? The title has the word 'dancer' in it so i figured differently

It's like watching a show inside a pub

He broke the glasses! Why did he do that?

Why are they standing still?

How can she be so flexible?

Here she is

Oh he's the singer??

Oh he's the singer??

I thought it was just like a story for the dance to follow along

He is~

The man was the singer~

AMAZING

I like the rhythm behind the music

I find the lyrics of this song funny

'I'll become rich'

I think it is about Allah the god

It might be about 'what I will do for him'

The song is about Allah and they dance like this?

The dance might be a way to show their worship maybe?

We have to be careful

Let's not jump to conclusions

We might get in trouble

It's beautiful really

The sparkling pieces on her dress stands out very well

She dances well too

She's a great dancer! It's like her body is divided into two

Her colors also stand out well, the red

They're all happy

Everyone's coming onto the stage and taking over XD

Can they do that?

WOW

I didn't notice before

But at the back, there's bunch of people playing the instruments

I see them! Look how many there are

They didn't play a cd but playing the instruments

It's a live band

He's giving out money!!

Is it real money?

go near the man to catch some of it!

Think how much the singer must want to grab some of the money too

XD

But he has to focus

He can't sing and grab at the same time

Why is no one grabbing the money?

The chest and belly are divided!!

I can't do that

You have to practice hard

But... I think they keep on repeating the same song

What move is this??

From what I see, this type of MV

If they play in like karaoke bars or just bars

I think it will be great! It looks like they're dancing together

Look at her!

I think she worked out very well

I like women like her

Most of them are men rather then women

They came to see the women I think

How does she do that??

it's how you Wave~

They dance like this

Right! Dances with less movements

Using hands!

This is awesome

Like this as well

Dancing along with them...I feel something!

I think this might help your digestive systems

Digestive XD

There's also some energy consumption too

A dieting dance!

I think it's good for your inner body, like this shaking moves

I bet everyone must be healthy~

I think they all had some drinks

They're enjoying it

Yeah~

This is a song for the bar!

If they play it in the bar, people will have some drinks and dance along as well

So..!

We enjoyed Ahmed Sheba - Ah Law Leabt Ya Zahr Dancer! How did you like it?

I just danced XD

For your digestive systems?? XD

I'm serious! It helps

They dance like this too

Personally, I wanted to see the lyrics

They went by so quickly and I couldn't understand the message easily

So... I think

It might be a religious song that we didn't understand

But, we just saw the video today! We didn't understand the story or the message

Only from the video, it looked very cheerful

and dancing along after couple of drinks

A song for everyone to dance together!

What we learned today! was to move your upper body and belly separately for your system

You have to move your upper body and waist oppositely

Men needs to move their hands

Like this! and also like this XD

I want to try it out later on when I get rich

I don't think we'll ever get a chance XD

If there are anyone who can explain to us about this song, please leave us a comment below!

We enjoyed watching it!

Thank you!
