this is gonna be a brief update relating to the HoLife handheld vacuum got

a comment from reviewers saying she wish she could see it picking up liquids and

also ask how it was like cleaning up around child's high chair food particles

of noodles what not so I'm gonna put it to the test

I have actually just been using it on dry surfaces so I've got some oatmeal

here on the tray and first I'm gonna try to get that up and it's wet oatmeal in

fact go pour some water on there it steps you pick up up to 100 milliliters

of water so should have enough room with this so here we go

okay I hope that was good what's this all on the camera it picked up the

oatmeal and I'm water in no time so so I'm gonna remove the tray I've got some

more oatmeal here and I'm going to pour some juice ooh I hate to stain the strap

so I'll just pour water on there so I'm gonna pour some water on here also it'll

be just that by the way actually I'll put a little juice here I just don't

want to put too much juice and staying the straps but I'm gonna pour a fair

amount of water on the seat look at the seat around okay so there's a fair

amount of water on the seat and a blob of oatmeal

it's completely going that fast so it really does look for liquids didn't me

try one more thing

John's into the guy and he's a little more juice water okay I got quite a mess

there

and that came up fluid Sargon the spaghetti is gone it does work works for

liquids one more time one more time there's see if the camera picks that up

I'd filled it up with what's probably putting a couple ounces of the water

so it is the HoLife handheld wet dry vacuum and no I do not work for the

company but it's turning out so far to be a great product thanks for watching

if you missed the original the complete video review please check that out

8 PHILIPPINE Locations in Video Games - Duration: 11:16.

Ah, Philippines, so beautiful, so scenic and exotic, and so… pixilated?

Kamusta kabayan!

Frank here!

It's hard to believe how far we've come with video games.

Nowadays, you can explore and experience different locations and parts of the world from the

comfort of your own home!

In fact, so many video games out there allow us to do so – from exploring New York City

in Grand Theft Auto, to running through the Middle Eastern dessert in a war-based first

person shooter.

As someone who hasn't been to the Philippines in the past 3 years, it made me miss the mother

land and then I thought, "I wonder what video games feature Philippine locations that

I can explore?"

With that said, in this video, I will go over 8 popular games that feature various parts

of the Philippines either as a vital part of its plot, or as a background for aesthetic

reasons.

Either way, we are going on a trip to the virtual Philippines!

Grab your 16-bit suitcases and let's go!

Medal of Honor: Warfighter featuring Isabela City, Basilan, Philippines

The first real-life Philippine location on this list takes place in the popular wartime

shooter game, Medal of Honor: Warfighter in Isabela City, Basilan.

In the game, one of the mission objectives is to save hostages and defeat Abu Sayaf's

terrorist group.

What I love about the depiction of the country here is that you really get to immerse yourself

into the real war-torn slums of Basilan in the Philippines.

The palm trees, the broken down buildings, along with the non-playable characters speaking

Tagalog in the background.

It doesn't glamorize the Philippines nor should it, especially in such a setting where

terroristic activity and militia are present.

Regardless, you really get a strong feel of the squatter areas and poorer places of the

provincial locations and the graphics in this game are so realistic, it's like you really

are stepping foot in the Philippines.

Soul Calibur featuring The Village of The Wind Deity, Philippines

As I've mentioned in my previous video a while back, Talim is one of the few Filipina

characters in a video game.

Debuting in Soul Calibur 2, we are introduced to a pre-colonial Philippines, right as the

Spanish came to colonize the islands in the 16th century.

Referred to as "The Village of the Wind Deity," it is situated in a location that

commands a view of both the mountains and the sea.

The main focuses of this stage are the wind mills which bring about a strong breeze throughout

the village.

The stage takes place on top of a wooden platform with an open area several feet about the ground.

Here you can see the magnificence of the Philippines in the background during a clear sunny day.

The beautiful wooden structures, as well as the utilization of wind power and stone houses,

bring us back to a historical era of the Philippines.

In Soul Calibur 3, water-powered mills and aqueducts are depicted instead, showcasing

more Filipino innovation and a different side to 16th century Philippines.

The beautiful soundtrack compliments the beautiful scenary and takes as back to a more simplified

Philippines before industrialization and Spanish influences had been integrated with our culture.

Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine featuring Palawan, Philippines

In this movie based video game, we get the chance to explore Palawan as Indiana Jones,

even if it is in a virtual, pixilated world.

The real life Palawan is considered to be one of the most beautiful places in the world,

and even in this PC game, we get to see it for ourselves in the game, pixels and all.

The Palawan lagoon, temple and volcano are some of the locations featured and although

the graphics are primitive by today's standards, there's so much to venture upon.

Exotic animals, the fresh blue water, and the vast amount of green wildlife really stand

out.

It makes sense since Indiana Jones is an explorer, but as the player you really get a feel of

the nature that surrounds you and it's easy to get lost in the beauty that surrounds you.

You get to swim the clear blue water, see the inside of a volcano, and visit a Palawan

temple, to name a few.

Pretty much your basic touristy activities all while relaxing in your own home.

Katamari Damacy featuring a Filipino House in the Philippines

Ah, Katamari Damacy.

In this weird yet addictive game, you are an alien that has to collect objects from

earth on a ball called a katamari in order to make stars.

One location featured is the Philippines.

But unlike the previous games I've mentioned, here you are limited to the inside of a Filipino

home.

Now I don't know about you, but as Filipinos, we tend to have very messy houses so I felt

like this was a pretty hilarious and somewhat accurate depiction.

Some of the things inside this house that you can collect are coins, batteries, lego

pieces, and other little knick knacks that are all around the house.

Throughout the game, you are able to collect household items from a Filipino living room,

as well as the outside area where there are plants and other objects lying about on the

grassy areas of the backyard.

I'm pretty sure the best Tagalog phrase to explain all of this unnecessary clutter

and mess is "maraming tambak," at least that's what my mom likes to say whenever

my room is a big huge mess.

Tekken Tag Tournament 2 featuring Manila, Philippines

Not only did Tekken give us its first Filipina fist-fighter Josie Rizal, but they also gave

us 2 Filipino locations.

The first takes place in Tekken Tag Tournament 2.

Referred only as the "Coastal Sunset" stage, you really feel as though you are in

Manila just looking at the background.

I remember when I was in Manila back in 2012, I saw the exact same beautiful sunset and

seeing it again in this game made me feel so nostalgic.

Philippine sunsets are like no other, and the "Coastal Sunset" stage in this game

makes that known.

From the tricycles and jeepneys lined up in the background, to the Filipinos in the back

cheering on the fight, the game producers really captured the essence of Manila.

The sunset is obviously the key element of this stage however, signaling that evening

is upon us.

The orange sky in the background with the silhouette of the palm trees and the Philippine

buildings, really makes it seem like we traveled to the island's capital.

Tekken 7 featuring a Jungle Outpost in the Philippines

In Tekken 7, another Philippine stage called "Jungle Outpost" gives us a look into

the outskirts of the jungle areas instead of the city.

This stage is shared by fellow Filipino Josie Rizal and Heihachi's pet bear Kuma.

You can clearly see the bahay kubo in the distance, as well as some wildlife, including

tropical birds in the background of this stage.

Not much else is noted here other than the wild marshes and the utilization of wood and

logs for the fighting platform.

The same orange sky is present as it was in the Manila stage in Tekken Tag Tournament

2.

The jungle, obviously too, is also present in the background and really adds on to the

nature of this location.

Front Mission 3 featuring the Taal Volcano & Batangas, Philippines

Front Mission 3 is another video game that I mentioned previously that features 2 Filipino

characters, Jose Estrada and Pham Luis.

It also features 2 popular Philippine locations – The Taal Base and Batangas.

The game depicts a futuristic Batangas ridden with militia, base camps, and mechanized robots.

The beautiful Batangas that we are familiar with today is no longer recognizable and instead,

is filled with military bases and unnecessary buildings and control centers.

Thankfully this is just a fictionalized depiction and hopefully will not be a sneak peak of

what's to come in the future.

The Taal Base is no different either.

Whereas the Taal Volcano and its surrounding locations are mostly made up of grassy area

and nature, the depiction of this area in Front Mission 3 is the complete opposite.

Crysis 3 featuring The Lost Island, Philippines

This fictional location referred to only as "the Lost Island" takes place in Crysis

3, a first person shooter action game.

According to the plot, traces of a mysterious alien presence have been discovered on a small

island in the Philippines 200 miles from Ling Shan.

As you can see, this location appears to be a remote island of the Philippines near the

coastal area.

The game accurately depicts the natural side of the country despite the fact that you have

to shoot down aliens in the game.

Exploring further, Crysis 3 also features some squatter areas similar to the real-life

poorer areas of the Philippines.

These houses appear to have rundown roofs and makeshift support beams made out of wood

and sticks to keep the structures standing.

Despite this, the player has the opportunity to have an open-ended exploration of the vicinity,

which includes the coastal area of the island and the marsh, grassy plains and tree-filled

areas of the Philippines.

Just be sure to put on the bug spray!

Obviously these video games don't do justice to the real-life beauty that the Philippines

has to offer but it is nice to experience the motherland in the comfort of your own

room, especially if you live in another country.

Which of these virtual depictions of the Philippines was your favorite?

Let me know in the comments below, and let me know if there were other video games which

feature the Philippines that I may have missed.

Please make sure to like, comment, and share this video with your friends and family!

Please make sure to visit YouTube.com/FrankBernard for similar videos and please consider subscribing

if you enjoyed it!

Press that little bell symbol to stay notified of when I post a new video also!

These video games really made me miss the Philippines, now if you'll excuse me, I'm

off to grab my passport and search up some flights to Manila.

Thanks for watching, and I'll see you guys in the next video!

What The Original It Cast Looks Like Today - Duration: 7:16.

The 2017 film version of Stephen King's It made its mark as one of the biggest critical

and commercial hits of the year, but it wasn't the first time the horror master's classic

1986 story made its way to the screen.

The book's original adaptation, a 1990 TV miniseries, lacked a movie-sized budget and

modern special effects, but it still managed to give audiences plenty of scares.

The TV version of It had a strong cast going for it, including budding young stars and

formidable character actors portraying the adults.

With the exception of Jonathan Brandis and John Ritter, who've passed away since the

movie's release, most of It's original cast is still busy with strong Hollywood careers.

Here's a look back at the original ensemble and what they've been up to in the 27 years

since Pennywise last reared his head.

Richard Thomas

TV fans might best remember Richard Thomas for his Emmy-winning turn as "John-Boy" in

the The Waltons.

But for horror fans, Richard Thomas will always be remembered as the grownup version of Bill

Denbrough, taking over the role of the Losers' leader from Jonathan Brandis.

After It, Thomas continued his prolific acting career with more films like Wonder Boys and

TV series such as The Americans.

Thomas also maintains a steady career on the stage, recently earning a Tony Award nomination

for his role in the 2017 Broadway revival of The Little Foxes.

Brandon Crane

In the 1990 miniseries, Brandon Crane played the young version of Ben Hanscom, who was

frequently bullied by Henry Bowers and his gang because of his weight.

Around the same time, Crane also had a recurring role on the classic drama-comedy series The

Wonder Years as Kevin's close friend Doug Porter.

Following his appearance in It, Crane continued to appear on the small screen and in short

films, and these days he makes his living as a stage actor, singer, and front-end website

developer.

During the summer of 2017, Crane reunited with some of the other Derry alums to film

the upcoming documentary, Pennywise: The Story of 'IT.'

Emily Perkins

Canadian actress Emily Perkins portrayed the young version of Beverly Marsh in the miniseries,

and it was one of her first major roles.

But something about her stint as a scream queen in It seemed to stick, because she would

later continue to star in scary projects like The X-Files and and Ginger Snaps.

Nowadays, she's taking a break from the small screen as she enjoys her newest role as mom.

Annette O'Toole

Before she became the adult Beverly Marsh in It, Annette O'Toole appeared as Clark Kent's

love interest Lana Lang in Superman III.

And after defeating the Derry demon, O'Toole returned to the Smallville fold by starring

as the Superman's mother on the small screen.

After that was done, however, she came back to the realm of Stephen King for a brief stint

on the small screen adaptation of 11.22.63.

Seth Green

Long before he became a household name, Seth Green was the foul-mouthed wisecracking Richie

Tozier in the It miniseries.

He later rose to fame with roles in the Austin Powers film franchise, his long-running role

as Oz on Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and the dozens of other films and TV shows he's been

a part of.

Nowadays, his steadiest work seems to happen behind a microphone: he provides voices for

Family Guy, Robot Chicken and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and even made into the Marvel

Universe as the voice of Howard the Duck in the Guardians of the Galaxy movies.

Harry Anderson

For adult Richie, actor-comedian Harry Anderson stepped into the role.

"Beep beep Richie" "I didn't hear that."

Anderson is likely better known for his long-running role as Judge Harry Stone in the NBC sitcom

Night Court, but he's also popped up in popular series like Cheers and Hearts Afire.

But much like Richie, he's always had comedy at heart, and these days, he can be seen performing

stand-up routines and magic shows around the country.

Adam Faraizl

Twelve-year-old Eddie Kaspbrak was the most timid member of the Losers' Club,

frequently jumping at his own shadow or complaining of ailments, like asthma, that his mother

convinced him he suffered from.

Playing Eddie in the 1990 miniseries was Adam Faraizl, who didn't stick with acting for

long after It premiered on television.

He made a handful of appearances in TV movies like Where the Red Fern Grows, but ultimately

he found a professional passion in the restaurant business where he specializes in bar beverages.

Dennis Christopher

Playing the adult version of Eddie Kaspbrak in the It miniseries was Dennis Christopher,

who first rose to prominence in Hollywood with his starring role as Dave in the 1979

film Breaking Away.

Christopher went on to appear in many more films and television shows over the years,

including Roswell and Star Trek: Enterprise.

He also appeared in Quentin Tarantino's Django Unchained and recently starred in several

episodes of the Epix comedy series Graves.

Marlon Taylor

Playing young Mike Hanlon was actor Marlon Taylor, who also appeared in a handful of

other television roles as a child, including Sister, Sister.

After 1994, Taylor took a hiatus from acting, but reappeared in 2009 when he co-starred

in the rap drama Know Thy Enemy.

Information about what he's been up to since then is scarce, but according to Taylor's

Twitter account, he recently finished filming a part for an episode in season four of Syfy's

post-apocalyptic TV series Z-Nation.

Tim Reid

Tim Reid played out the rest of Mike Hanlon's tale for viewers, as he discovers that It

has returned 27 years after their last encounter.

Like his younger counterpart Marlon Taylor, Tim Reid also appeared on the sitcom Sister,

Sister and continued to act in a number of films and television shows, including That

'70s Show and Treme.

Most recently, Reid made a couple of appearances as Bishop Lionel Jeffries in the Oprah Winfrey

Network drama series Greenleaf.

Ben Heller

Being an actor isn't for everyone, and it certainly seems that was the case for Ben

Heller, who played the 12-year-old version of Stanley Uris in 1990.

Stan is the most logical — and skeptical — of the Losers' Club members, and Heller

handled the role just fine.

However, his appearance as Stan was his first and last acting role.

Fans will get to finally find out what he's been up to in his post-Derry days when he

appears on the 2018 documentary about the mini-series' production.

Richard Masur

Stan was the one who initiated the blood oath between the Losers' Club members when they

were children.

But when he learns that he'll have to make good on that promise, his fear of facing the

ancient evil again leads him to take his own life.

"Sorry I'm late."

Richard Masur is probably better known for his work in shows like Rhoda and films like

The Thing.

Today, he's still a regular on the small screen, having recently starred in The Good Wife and

Orange is the New Black.

Tim Curry

Renowned actor Tim Curry did much of the heavy lifting in the 1990 It miniseries with his

role as Pennywise the Dancing Clown.

While there has been considerable buzz surrounding Bill Skarsgård's modern take on the character

in the 2017 film adaptation, it still doesn't displace Curry's cheeky performance as a fan

favorite from the first adaptation.

Following It, Curry continued his extremely prolific acting career with dozens of roles

in films and television shows.

And even after suffering a stroke in 2012 which left him wheelchair-bound, Curry refused

to slow down, taking a voice role in Star Wars: The Clone Wars and returning to The

Rocky Horror Picture Show realm as the Criminologist in the Fox TV remake.

And he's still ready to bust out Pennywise whenever the need arises:

"And we say down here we float."

What You Didn't See On TV At The 2017 Emmy Awards - Duration: 6:47.

The 2017 Primetime Emmy Awards were filled with the usual levels of cheeky humor, emotional

acceptance speeches, political calls to action, and the all-around excitement that one expects

from the award show.

Fortunately, the Emmys had no La La Land-Moonlight snafu, but there were still some major moments

that happened behind-the-scenes before, during, and after the telecast.

Here's what you didn't see on TV during the 2017 Emmys.

ACLU boost

The 2017 Emmys red carpet was filled with blue.

Several nominees and guest presenters sported simple, blue ribbons pinned to their ensembles

to show support for the American Civil Liberties Union.

Those who visibly supported the organization included The Night Of star Riz Ahmed, co-presenters

B.D.

Wong and Matt Bomer, The Handmaid's Tale stars Ann Dowd and Elisabeth Moss, Top Chef host

Padma Lakshmi, Transparent stars Judith Light and Kathryn Hahn, Silicon Valley star Kumail

Nanjiani, and Homeland star Mandy Patinkin.

Given this fashion statement and the political atmosphere of the evening's speeches, it was

clear from the start that many stars came out for more than just an evening of entertainment.

Dissing the profession

Shailene Woodley might've been an Emmy nominee for her work on HBO's Big Little Lies, but

the actress revealed that she herself is not a TV buff.

"I haven't had a TV since I moved out of my parents' house at 18."

"All my friends watch TV.

I always ask them when do they have time to?

When do people have time to?"

Woodley went on to say that instead of turning on the tube, she likes to read.

But her dislike of the entertainment industry, and particularly the medium that was being

celebrated, seemed a little zany, even for her.

About that cameo

It might have been meant as a cheeky wink to the fact that Melissa McCarthy won outstanding

guest actress in a comedy series thanks to her impression of "Spicey" on Saturday Night

Live.

But the opening monologue cameo by former White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer didn't

land very well with audiences.

He brought in his own roving podium to assure host Stephen Colbert that his crowd size would

be the biggest, period, much like he'd done on the first day of his last job.

"This will be the largest audience to witness an Emmys period."

The bit quickly went viral — but for all the wrong reasons.

Some critics rebuked the decision to invite Spicer to the awards, questioning if the move

normalized the embattled former White House staffer and suggesting that some of his remarks

made while he held his job with the administration were no laughing matter.

He did find one unlikely defender in SNL Emmy winner Alec Baldwin, who said:

"I think that people in the business, the average person, is very grateful for him to

have a sense of humor and participate."

Poker face

Feud star Jackie Hoffman had an instantly meme-able reaction to losing out to Laura

Dern.

She was spotted mouthing "dammit, dammit" after her name wasn't called for the prize.

Afterward, Hoffman proceeded to lob strange accusations against Dern via Twitter, saying,

"Laura Dern had famous parents.

Forgive me for being from real people #elitism."

After that, her comments became even more bonkers.

Hoffman accused Dern of running a "child porn ring" and "loot[ing] art from Nazi victims."

Eventually, it became clear to Hoffman that others weren't necessarily seeing her remarks

as jokes, so she wrote, "I hear the media actually taking my reaction seriously?

Are you kidding me?"

For a minute there, it looked like Hoffman was the sorest loser of the night.

An official debut

Although he got no airtime because he was neither a nominee nor a presenter, Ben Affleck

did come to the Emmys as the plus-one of Saturday Night Live producer Lindsay Shookus, who has

become his girlfriend after his split from wife Jennifer Garner.

SNL was on the receiving end of more than a dozen nominations and six wins at the Emmys,

so although they didn't pose for the press line, Affleck was seen supporting his new

gal.

The two were spotted by reporters celebrating the show's successful night backstage at the

VIP lounge.

Even though they've been seen out and about before the Emmys, this was their first official

outing as a couple to a high-profile event.

Going viral

Dave Chappelle and John Oliver went viral when they gave props to the District of Columbia

Public School system during their time at the mic.

While presenting, Chappelle gave a shout-out to his alma mater, and after that, Emmy-winner

John Oliver lauded D.C. schools as well.

As a result, #DCPublicSchools became the second-highest trending topic of the evening and even prompted

several viral responses from the school system's official Twitter account as a token of gratitude.

Fractious farewell

Any awards show's in memoriam segment is bound to drudge up some bad feelings — whether

it's over unequal time spent on one person over another, someone important being omitted

from the honor, or just plain disfavor of the tradition at large.

The 69th Emmy Awards had an unusual complaint on its hands: viewers were more angered over

who was included in the segment than who wasn't, particularly controversial former Fox News

boss Roger Ailes.

Ailes was accused of sexual assault multiple times by former employees and ultimately resigned

as CEO before his passing in May 2017.

For many, his inclusion in the Emmys' memorial roll was especially upsetting.

Finishing the speech

This Is Us star Sterling K. Brown took home one of the night's biggest prizes — best

actor in a drama series — but his time at the podium ended on a somewhat low note.

After recognizing those who'd come before him, Brown proceeded to thank his co-stars

individually with thoughtful and poignant notes of praise for each.

But before he could finish, Brown was drowned out by music that the actor insisted was louder

than others who'd accepting their prizes earlier in the show.

"You can play.

You can play!

Nobody got that loud music."

The internet was immediately outraged by the cut-off, but backstage, Brown was invited

to finally finish his acceptance speech.

"They cut me off before I got to thank my wife, man."

The man behind the voice

Although The Late Show's Stephen Colbert was the host of the 69th Annual Primetime Emmy

Awards, it was another man who truly controlled the pace and presentation of the event.

Superior Donuts star Jermaine Fowler served as the announcer for the evening, delivering

voice-over commentary between each award presentation and ushering in commercial breaks with quick

quips.

"This is the first Emmy win and ninth nomination for Elisabeth Moss.

She graduated high school two years early, I read that on the internet."

Fowler's presence was very much felt throughout the entire program — even if you might not

have seen much of him during the show.
