Badam Halwa Recipe / Almond Halwa/ Navratri special - Duration: 1:48.

Today, I am going to prepare Badam/Almonds Halwa
Its very healthy
& tasty
So over to my kitchen and see what ingredients we need to make it
Soak almonds in hot water for 30 minutes
Peel almond skin
Now grind peeled almonds with milk to coarse
Take 1/4 cup clarified butter in a nonstick pan
Add to it almond paste
Saute it for 1 minute at medium flame
Stir continuously
Add to it saffron
Now add powdered sugar and stir continuously
When it starts to thicken
Add two tsps of clarified butter/ghee to it
Keep stirring it
Now add cardamom powder and stir
Stir continuously till it starts leaving pan from sides
Take it out in a serving bowl and garnish with almonds

Can Pets Be Allergic to People? - Duration: 3:48.

If you're allergic to cats or dogs, life can be tough.
Sometimes, all you wanna do is snuggle with a puppy, but instead you're sneezing and
wheezing.
An allergic reaction comes from your immune system overreacting to things like pet dander,
the microscopic flakes of dead skin and hair they shed, or their saliva.
But pets can get allergies, too.
And while it's rare, dogs and cats can even be allergic to each other, or to us -- more
specifically, to human dander.
No matter who's sneezing at whom, the basic science behind allergies in pets is the same
as in people.
Basically, the immune system confuses a harmless allergen, like cat dander, for a dangerous
invader and attacks.
It releases antibodies, which are proteins that detect and bind to the allergen, then
sends a signal to other immune cells to release inflammatory molecules like histamine.
Inflammation irritates the sensitive tissues that line the insides of your nose, respiratory
system, eyes, and skin.
And that makes you all sneezy and itchy and eye-watery.
Just like us, our pets can be allergic to a variety of things, like pollen, grasses,
mold, and food.
One study from 2014 looked at about a hundred dogs that were having an allergic reaction
to something, and found that about half of them were sensitive to house dust and dust
mites, little critters that eat dead skin.
But that's not because dust is mostly made of human skin.
If you've heard that before, it's a common misconception.
House dust is mostly made of dirt that comes in through open doors or windows, or on the
bottom of your shoes.
But you do shed some dead skin, and some experts think there are rare instances of pets that
are specifically allergic to human dander.
When a dog is allergic to something, whether it's you or dust mites, they often develop
a condition called atopic dermatitis, or itchy, red, swollen skin.
Cats can also get itchy skin or can lose patches of fur.
Their allergies are also likely to cause inflammation in their respiratory tracts, which makes them
sneeze and cough.
It's common enough that feline asthma affects about 1% of the cat population.
Luckily, vets are great at diagnosing and treating allergies, so there's no need to
say goodbye to your furry friend.
To test for allergies, vets can do blood tests that measure the amount of antibodies in the
blood, or a skin test, which is more sensitive and has quicker results.
For a skin test, the vet scrapes or injects a small amount of allergen on or in the skin
to see if it causes a reaction.
If it does, they can treat the allergy with shots or oral medication.
Just like in humans, these treatments expose animals to small amounts of allergen, slowly
increasing the concentration over time so their immune systems can build up a tolerance
and stop freaking out.
So if you notice your pet breaking out in a rash or sneezing after you cuddle them,
they may be allergic to you… but it's most likely some other allergen, like pollen
or dust.
Because even for our furry friends, allergies can be a little… ruff.
If you have allergies that prevent you from cuddling up to a cute dog or cat, you might
distract yourself instead by cuddling up to a good book.

interested yeah people aren't in medicine or a field where you use
sterile gloves wouldn't know that the sterile gloves actually come in there's
sizes for them kind of like shoe sizes so no comments about man with small

I think they can figure it out ok so do a little test mark does it hurt for me
to do this yeah and that you'd expect that that would hurt because these are
sharp little things here adsence have teeth add some forceps so I can pull
this thing up with these they're wonderful I can shave this off the
reason we're shaving it off is just to make sure that it's not cancerous I
don't think it is but boy did it grow rapidly yeah that goes in there the
sharp things over there yeah there is a drop of blood so now we're getting close
to the point where I'm gonna have you roll over on your side mark or on your
stomach but very carefully because you there's a specimen container right next
to your left shoulder so if you move your left shoulder there that's enough

okay so wound seals this wonderful powder that helps to stop the bleeding
and to seal the wound as its name implies so there's an angle here you all
right with that yeah you want me to get more flat I mean just mark are you able
you anymore flat just for a second I'm sorry one minute go ahead and lay your
right shoulder down more if you can
because the the flatter the surface the better I'm gonna pull your skin up
does that neat skin moves okay can you see it all right I'll give you as much
of you as you need you tell me when you're ready

so I'm putting on pressure for a full minute with my finger and the sterile
glove and then after a minute I'll take it off and what we'll find actually this

the powder is wound seal it's a commercial product that turns into
polymerizes when comes in contact with the blood and creates a barrier that
keeps the blood from coming out it keeps bad stuff from getting in like bacteria
when he leaves here so it really functions as a natural scab would ya if
he formed a scab over the following you know 12 hours plus okay that's over a
minute we're gonna take this off and this is the moment of truth we see oh
there's just a little little little tiny dot of blood when it works perfectly you
don't even have that let me just dab it and kind of move the
wooden seal over it there's one down there to you how's that doing it it's
still comin so what we'll do is we'll just put a band-aid over that it's
certainly much less bleeding than it would have been without the windshield
let me put some things in the red bag and oh I guess one thing to show is you
can see where the bleeding had been when I put my finger down

this is gonna be hard to clean up because the wounds heal gut so I'm just
brushing it not like it's a sterile area anymore because it's not and I'm gonna
put a bandaid on that so let me I it's not aluminum I once read it but it's not
aluminum there are some other things that were somewhat similarly for
stopping bleeding this stuff a lot of people ask about the use of this stuff
and they think they could just put it on cuts at home and I don't recommend that
at all it stings terribly if you're not numb okay mark can I have you sit up
right
put that in the red bag also absolutely show it to us well did you see if yeah
yeah let me get that for it the others there's a little bit of color
to it so let me just get that just to make sure you feel the stinging yeah
that stuff will sting it shouldn't be stinging you because you should be numb
but even you're feeling it huh so let me get some of that did I have any I can
just use paper towel just to get the blood off his armpit there and we're

growth I'm not gonna be a problem I think it was a seborrheic keratosis
which these are kind of that here on your other places on your skin they're
benign growths don't cause any problem but we'll make sure we'll tell you in
