Waching daily Sep 19 2017

hey guys welcome back to my channel I am bunny and today we are doing the cheap

art supply challenge so there are two reasons why I'm excited for this

challenge the first one is because I'm feeling rather nostalgic I was thinking

about my past days as an innocent four-year-old discovering for the very

first time the creative world and the art world and I was infatuated with art

from a very early age and I can remember going to the dollar store and seeing

this magical place of toys candy and art supplies and begging my parents and my

grandparents to buy things for me and it was like anything like watercolor sets

to markers like especially the markers that scented like the smell like

something like I think there was like like bubblegum flavor and Coca Cola

flavor and grape there's all kinds I think you guys know which ones I'm

talking about there is another reason why I'm excited for this and the second

one is just to basically show you guys it's something that I often talk about

if you guys are starting off in the art world and your your beginners or you're

young you can't afford things honestly guys just start off with the cheapest

stuff you can find there's a couple reasons for this the first one is of

course it's cheaper it's easier on your wallet

second thing is you're trying out things you want to learn how to use it first

you want to get used to the idea of using it for example watercolor so it's

a way to train yourself to prepare yourself for the more expensive products

and then the third one is I mean maybe you don't even like it so if you try a

watercolor for the first time why would you spend so much money on an actual

like professional set I'm when you can just buy a cheaper brand and just try it

with the cheaper one first because you don't know maybe you don't like

watercolor so for this challenge we are going to be painting with a euro store

dollar store I should say um kind of branded art supplies and we're gonna be

doing watercolor so we've got a set of twelve here this is from a store I can't

remember the name of the store right now I think it's called Mac Geiz Mac Geiz for

my German viewers so you guys probably know it's like a euro store has a really

cheap stuff you can get the set there I actually

don't remember the price but it was definitely a couple euros and this

includes twelve watercolors and it also includes a tube of white paint so I'm

pretty excited to use it you guys can see it here looks pretty cool it's for

school and for hobby arts those for children and I think it's a fantastic

product and in addition to that of course to fit the theme we are going to

be painting with paint brushes that are also from the same store and

approximately the same price so for a euro if not a euro 50 or so and there's

ten of them different sizes different thicknesses I'm gonna be drawing

something we're gonna see if it turns out and we're gonna see how the colors

react and you know how to blend and how to use a cheaper set of watercolors

before we get started I'm if you guys like this video give me a thumbs up it

really does support me and do subscribe and also check out my social media down

below Facebook Instagram Etsy and yeah yeah your support means the world to me

honestly so yeah let's get started okay so let's get started we're gonna

open up the kids world 12 DeckFarben which I'm assuming translates

directly to twelve color jack could that be it I don't know German German

subscribers please see correct me and thus is Phil Shula owned ami so that's

for school and hobby and there's one tube of white paint so let's open it up

Oh backwards actually you know what for like a little um over a euro this is

looking pretty cool there is a case which is really nice for children oh my

gosh if we open it up oh my god oh my god what is this professional

watercolor these definitely do not look like this back in my Canadian art stores

or sorry dollar stores so here we've got oh this is really cool actually so we've

got the little watercolors which are actually Wow

they're like stuck in the plastic which is really nice for children and there's

actually the colors look at the colors ah storage in

so for someone like me who's learning German this is like oh my god what is

this this is perfect oh yeah this is a nice color I have to

say right off the bat the colors look beautiful look look at that purple yeah

there's also the little tube of white paint so we're gonna definitely take

advantage of this and this is how the actual palette looks like wow I'm

impressed very nice Mendez alright so let's open up the

paintbrushes okay so we've got the paintbrushes now of course paintbrushes

cheap paint brushes are not really the best quality and that has been known

through the board regardless of where you live I would I would think I'm you

can see that it's like super uneven even know why I'm doing the product would be

right now but yeah they're pretty hairy and like all over the place looks like

my hair in the morning when I wake up and I'm probably gonna expect to lose

Brussels or I think that's what they're called right like the paint Brussels on

wall and painting but nevertheless let's get started so for the face I think I'm

gonna use the big one here this is the number 10 and we're gonna be mixing some

colors I'm actually so excited okay so let's dip the oh yeah I'm

dipping the paintbrush in water and it looks awesome okay so let's make some

causes you're gonna show you we're gonna mix the ocker yellow okay yeah see I'm

already losing Brussels hmm this is the only thing with kids things that um it's

not really fun to deal with okay so I'm mixing the aqua yellow with the burnt

sienna oh gosh this is gonna be a hairy painting guys this hair everywhere so

gross

she's gonna be a hairy girl it's all good let's get started I mix the burnt

the ocker yellow with the burnt sienna so this is to give it a kind of natural

skin tone oh god there's hair all over her Oh God

oh dear why'd you see that she has a mustache woohoo she's got a bad case of

hairy face guys we shouldn't discriminate against her it's okay it's

all good so it's basically pick up the hairs you just need a wet brush and just

kind of go over top of it and it will somehow pick it up on the brush

sometimes not always though so like here I really hate that I hate finding hair

like I'm one of those people that when I go to the restaurant I always take a

look at my food before I eat something and just to assess if there's hair in it

and honestly every single time I will find hair and it's been kind of a

running gag in my family where I can spot hair like a hawk and it's probably

so disgusting it's like one of those horrible curses I guess that's what

happens when you pay attention to detail you're just like you can see things that

you're not supposed to see in your food we're gonna add some touches of pink now

I don't actually have a good pink color so I have to kind of mix it I have the

the bread here and then the kind of fuchsia or the fuchsia magenta should

say we're gonna mix a little bit of these two colors so guys if you guys are

starting off don't be hesitant to mix colors you can see here I made probably

can't see it but here I made a like purplish or sorry a pinkish kind of skin

tone we're just gonna add a bit of pink to her face

okay so now that the painting is dried in little aluminum now that the painting

has dried a little bit we're gonna go into the finer details around the

shadows with the thinnest so number one the smallest brush I have available in

this set and we're just gonna go ahead and mix in the red and the Browns

together

let's paint the hair so it's hair time we're gonna be painting with purple now

that the actual around it's a little bit dry so I don't I don't risk the like the

paint's actually blending in together like the purple going into the face for

example you just have to be careful when you do that so we're gonna paint the

hair purple she's gonna be like a little fairy kind of character want some purple

I think we're gonna add some blues in there as well maybe do some like mermaid

hair kind of style I think I think that's the general idea

so now the typical brushes and bunnies fashion we're going to go ahead and just

do a little bit more detail with pencil crayon so you guys can use any sort of

pencil crayon I'll just be using Mir polychromos it is not a cheap product

but this entire video is just for the watercolor set I so we're just gonna go

ahead and clean up a bit and I'm just yeah we'll see how that works out I'm

not going to be doing too much we're just gonna be doing around the eyes

mostly

so at this point throughout the video I did use the white paint and I did mix it

up with some of the watercolor and I used the white paint around the

highlighted areas of her face and on her hair and I mixed it in with some of the

blue for example and also some of the skin tone of the the ocker and the

Burton Sienna so this was just to make it a little bit more unison you could

see that the skin color actually ended up blending really nicely and I was able

to create a nice overall layout or layer of a smooth skin color basically you can

consider this pain as being a white gouache paint that you can mix in with

different water colors and use it as a thicker layer above the other watercolor

layers so I thought it was pretty fun to use and I was actually really surprised

that they included it in the kids set

all right guys that's pretty much it I think that you turned out pretty cute I

had some troubles with her eyes but that's basically it I think that the

paint actually worked really well you just have an issue afterwards with

applying different types of materials on top like marker and a little bit of

pencil crown but if you want to work with watercolor in pencil crown the

cheap bono colors will definitely work depending on the quality of them I paid

for like about a over a euro for these watercolors and they worked really well

and I'm so surprised by it so you can see that the paint's actually were

blendable and the colors worked really well together and yeah it was it worked

out pretty better than I expected so I'm actually quite pleased so guys this is

just a reminder that cheaper products will also provide you with a pretty good

starting base in terms of if you want to try watercolor for example and don't

hesitate to buy the cheaper stuff first and try it out before you actually get

into the actual skill because maybe you won't like it maybe you will but just

test how to blend how to use colors how to mix

and play around before you invest in something more expensive so I hope you

guys enjoyed this video please give it a big thumbs up and subscribe to my

channel and I will see you guys very soon

More US troop Deaths on American Soil than the Afghanistan War in 2017! Training or Civil War - Duration: 6:10.

a massive explosion on base at Fort Bragg in North Carolina has injured at

least eight Special Operations soldiers today this comes just weeks after

fifteen Marines were injured during transport when their transport plane

crashed into a Mississippi field and three Marines were killed in a crash off

Australia's eastern coast this summer hey guys so here's the report of a

special ops soldier that killed seven others injured during the training at

Fort Bragg in this article as I'm sure you're aware of it by now

and this article if you scroll to the bottom it says that so far this year

more US troops have been killed in training than in combat in Afghanistan

and I think that's very interesting

hey guys it's just what I need myself today I want to talk about this whole

epidemic where more Americans have died in these training exercises here in

America or in our bases around the world then in the Afghani war I think that's

incredible and with all these hurricanes and flooding and what hust in Burma the

ease to know what there's gonna be Jose and Maria all these hurricanes and FEMA

camps have opened up there's also been all these posts of these FEMA camps

Walmart FEMA camps killing people a lot of conspiracy theorists are thinking

it's true there's a bunch of stuff going on how do we know that this isn't just

another cover-up it could be easy to cover-up and not trying to say it is it

just is a good thought with just so much and so much deception going on in this

world how do we know it's not something else going on guys I'd like to get era

people's opinions on this especially anybody that is going on with all these

plugs and natural events occurring once the truth out there is martial law

hitting the stage and what states are they in because

obviously we're at war people are dying if a lot of people are and it's just

crazy if the things they're saying about the FEMA camps real like well in serious

trouble and there's nothing we can really do about it but there's a lot of

research out there and there's a lot of videos on it and a lot of media isn't

addressing certain issues people are going in blind military people are dying

left and right there's explosions at Fort Bragg's the other day the one at

North Carolina there's riots just constantly and people getting hurt at

those and false flag events are just bizarre and you know the most they've

ever been just not just with false flag events but also real events I mean and

then you hear that group

oh my god it's the riots on demand crowd on demand place where it's just a bunch

of fake crisis actors people that are getting paid with ads on Craigslist to

show up and be either a trump supporter Hillary supporter and they're causing

these riots they're purposely causing riots and I'll feel that's right of

course so military of course and law

enforcement are getting involved in these riots what not to make sure

nothing happens but as the civil war started is this really a civil war in

the States and these training exercises just to

cover up theirs just seems like there's way too many people dying for it not to

be true and if it's not and it's just these military exercises then maybe we

should you know calm down a little bit er find out a different system I mean I

mean I would hate to enlist in the military just die prepping for training

for it that wouldn't be how I would go I signed up

and it's a shame to see that happen so he's got I know there's more stuck on

this world no mainstream media covers up so much America is on bad path it has

been but I series I want to get you guys opinions with your thoughts are on this

just cuz there's so much out there I'm in no way saying is happening at all

this is just thought idea that's out there I don't want to get the bottom of

it in the training exercise isn't that the usual BS it's not man what am I

supposed to tell the press training exercise isn't that the usual BS it's

not that better now what am I supposed to tell the press training exercise

isn't that the usual BS it's not that simple

fortunate training exercise involving an f-22 Raptor occurred yesterday

Either the Cat Goes or I Do | HOT DATE - Duration: 2:57.

(sniffles and coughs)

- Are you stuffed up?

- Yes.

- What do you think it is?

Cold, seasonal allergies?

- It's the cat you adopted

even though I told you I was allergic.

- Well this is the first time I'm hearing about this.

- You sent me a picture of you with him at the pet store.

I said, "Please don't bring a cat home,

"I'm extremely allergic."

You said, "How can you be allergic to cuteness?"

I said, "I'm not allergic to cuteness.

"I'm allergic to cat dander.

"It makes my eyes swell and my throat close."

And you responded, "LOL dander",

and brought him home anyway.

- Dander, it sounds like a Pokemon.

- It makes my throat close!

Okay, I know that you're attached to the cat.

But, I can't live with him.

So, we need to make a tough decision.

- Oh my God.

- Okay.

- You're moving out?

- What? Me?

No, we're giving the cat away.

- Oh!

No.

Sorry, we are not kicking my baby out onto the street.

- But you'll kick me out?

- You can provide for yourself.

I mean what kind of a job is the cat going to get?

And don't say deli cat, 'cause they don't even get paid.

- The cat's not going to the street.

- Or, a deli.

- Or, a deli.

- Thank you.

- I called my friend David,

and he said that he could help us.

- Oh, okay.

That's good.

So he's letting you stay with him?

- Oh my God, no.

We're giving the cat to him.

He's adopting the cat.

- Merv, we took on a responsibility,

and we need to see it through

until he's 17 and runs into the woods to die.

- I didn't take on anything.

I told you I was allergic to cats.

I said, "You can bring home a dog.

"You can bring home a ferret.

"You can bring home a friggin' rat, I don't care."

I just didn't want a cat.

- Look, this animal chose me.

I mean, he bit me when I walked past his cage.

If that isn't a sign--

- It's a sign that's he's a jerk!

Okay fine, I give up.

We'll just all live together.

I'll never breathe through my nose again.

We can get my eyelids drained every few days.

And if I go into shock, you can be the one,

who stabs me with the adrenaline needle.

- Okay great.

I think we reached like a little compromise.

- We did.

- You know, even though the cat and you

have had some differences,

I mean, two guys under one roof,

competin' to be the alpha.

- Holy fuck.

- But you've gotta admit, he is so cute.

- I can't see him!

- Hey guys, thanks for watching.

Tune in every week as Hot Date gets hotter.

Nope, nope, nope.

Please stop at the shirt.

Stop at the shirt.

How Do I Get Small Business Health Insurance Quotes? - Duration: 1:50.

How do you get small business health insurance quotes?

If you're in the market for a small business health insurance plan, there are three things

you should know about getting quotes.

You'll pay the same price for the same plan no matter where you buy.

Comparing quotes for different plans can save you money, and online quotes are subject to change.

Let's look at each of these in more detail.

First, you should know that health insurance prices are filed with state authorities each

year, and nobody is allowed sell a health insurance plan for a price that is different

from the originally filed price.

So you're going to pay the same price for the same plan, no matter where you buy it.

That means you won't get a discount if you buy directly from the insurance company, for example.

If you buy through a licensed agent, you get personal help and advice for the life of your

coverage at no additional cost to you.

Second, you should compare quotes from multiple insurance companies and multiple plans.

The only way you're going to find the best match for your needs and budget is to shop around.

Licensed agents can typically show you quotes from different insurers in your area.

Third, while you should start by looking for quotes online, you need to know that the final

premium you'll pay may change based on your final employee count and other factors specific

to your situation.

Many small businesses also adjust the deductible and copayment options for plans they're

considering, in order to make monthly premiums more affordable.

Start with online quotes, but work with a licensed agent to refine those quotes and

get a better idea of what your final costs may be.

I couldn't bring myself to sleep in our bed alone.

We lost him, Iris.

When HR died, we had a funeral.

Maybe we should give us all permission to grief.

What are we going to bury, dad?

The empty suit in the lab?

It's up to us to protect this city,

because there is no one else.

Just us trying to keep the city safe, we're barely getting it done.

We need to bring Barry back.

No.

Barry told us to keep moving forward, not to save him.

What is your deal?

It's like you don't even want him back!

Are you certain that Barry is even still alive?

Iris, he's gotta be.

You need to believe that there is an answer for every question.

Barry's trying to send us a message, I know it.

You got strength, baby girl.

You just need a little faith.

Let's bring our boy home.

I tried to keep going.

To keep running like you said.

It's him!

Please come back to me.

You need to prepare yourselves.

Barry?

He said he wants to fight The Flash.

IT (2017) - Before They Were Famous - Pennywise / Bill Skarsgård - Duration: 10:07.

Before the 2017 film adaptation of IT would go on to break records for a horror films

opening weekend and a September film release of all time.

Before Killer Clown sighting would dominate news headlines throughout September and October

of 2016.

Before the 1990 ABC television miniseries would become a cult classic

Before Stephen King would release his Best Selling 1100 plus page novel in 1986

The character of Pennywise The Dancing Clown has been described as one of the scariest

clowns in popular culture. Much like the character in the Novel, it seems IT likes to take a

few decades of sleep before reemerging into mainstream consciousness to terrify a whole

new generation. The fan fair off of the most recent instalment starring Bill Skarsgard

has reached incredible heights with everyone talking about his creepy portrayal of the

character.

It's a pretty interesting story of how this all came together and how the Stephen King

manifested the characted starter way back in 1978.

What's going on guys? My name is Michael McCrudden documenting everything you need to know about

IT or Pennywise, here for you on Before They Were Famous. Around this time last year I

jump started another channel titled Before They Were Fiction, there I documented the

creation story of fictional characters, including Rick, Darryl and Negan from the Walking Dead.

Mr. Burns, R2D2, Goku and Slenderman to name a few. I'm gonna leave a link down below becuase

we might be bringing that channel back to life. For now, let's jump into this Before

They Were Famous video.

Stephen King's IT was published on September 15th 1986. But Stephen stated that he first

conceived the story in 1978 while walking through Boulder Colorado. At the time he was

walking in cowboy boots, and stated:

"They sounded like a hollow clock. I thought of the fairy tale called "The Three Billy-Goats

Gruff" and wondered what I would do if a troll called out from beneath me, "Who is trip-trapping

upon my bridge?" All of a sudden I wanted to write a novel about a real troll under

a real bridge

As he played with the idea for a number of years, the bridge transformed into a city,

and what's under a city? Sewers. Eventually the troll tansoformed into IT. If you've read

the book or seen the film you know that IT can take on any form it imagines that will

drive fear into it's victims but why does he take on the form of a clown? Let's take

a look at the history of clowns which I've previously reported on in my Killer Clowns

Before They Were Famous video:

Stephen King had long been fascinated with clowns and saw something that the general

public was overlooking. Clowns were terrifying, their faces hidden behind white face paint

and their red lips looking like blood. Stephen would become one of the first people to popularize

the idea that

clowns were

in fact terrifying.

Ok, this is where things get really interesting.

Stephen King never credited John Wayne Gacy as inspiration for Pennywise but this horrific

story was all over the news at the time and one can only assume that it somehow played

some role in creating this character. King got to working on his horror novel making

IT an eternal entity whom exisedt in "the Macroverse". Which is a void containing and

surrounding the Universe. After arriving on Earth, IT lay dorminate awaiting civiliazation

to be built up around IT. Then it would sleep for approximately 27 to 30 years at a time,

then awaken to wreak chaos and feed, primarily on children's fear. In the novel it takes

on multiple forms including werewolves, bats, leeches, and sharks. Essentially whatever

it's victims worst fear would embody.

Stephen King's novel quickly became the best selling book in the United States for 1986.

Hollywood was quick to get to work on a film adaption. ABC originally conceived it as a

four-part eight-hour series, which was later worked into a two-part, four-hour miniseries

filmed in British Columbia, Canada.

There were many differences in Stephen King's novel that never made it to the small or big

screen. This includes a group sex scene involving the Losers Club following thier defeat of

IT. I can undestand why that never made it to camera. IT was credited as the best TV

Adapation of a Stephen King novel ever and Tim Curry received plents of praise for his

portrayel of Pennywise following it's boradcast on ABC over two nights in November of 1990.

The special attracted 30 million viewers in its premiere. It was later released on VHS

and DVD and received cult classic status, from then it seems the IT much like it's protagonist

would more or less disappear from mainstream media.

In 2009 Hollywood decided that IT deserved to be show to the world on the big screen,

initally attached to the production was Cary Fukunaga as the director with Will Poulter

originally cast as Pennywise. If you don't know Will, he's better known as eyebrow kid.

Things would stretch on for some time with director Andy Muschietti taking over and Will

Poulter dropping out due to schedule conflicts.

Other actors were considered for the role of Pennywise include Mark Rylance, Ben Mendelsohn,

Kirk Acevedo, Richard Armitage, Hugo Weaving and Tilda Swinton but eventually the role

would go to Bill Skarsfard. Producer Dan Lin stated:

"His build is really interesting. He's really tall and lanky, and feels a little clown like

in his movement. When he came in—we had a lot of different actors read, and when he

came in he had a different spin on the character that got us really excited."

Rather than stay true to the novel's original 1958/1985 time frame the most recent film

takes place in 1989. Production of the film started in June of 2016 with the filming taking

place all over Toronto, Ontario Canada. My home town. Working with a budget of $35 Million

it's likely the producers, cast and crew were all pretty excited as the Killer Clown frenzy

was dominating headlines during production.

The film was released on September 5th 2017, As of September 13, 2017, It has grossed

$151.5 million in the United States and Canada, and $66.3 million in other territories, for

a worldwide total of $217.8 million. For better or for worse, all of a sudden Bill Skarsgard

face was everywhere.

A follow up to the film is set to go into production in 2018 with the children from

the film having grown up and it will be set in the present era. So look forward to that,

as for the rest of the story, well that's pretty much it becasue this is Before They

Were Famous.

My name is Michael McCrudden – be sure to check out Before They Were Fiction for more

creation stories of your favorite fictional characters and their series. Also, if you

guys want me to focus on a Bill Skarsgard video I could get that done for you.

What's the first thing you do when you get home after a match? Quickfire Questions w/ Michael Zorc - Duration: 1:22.

In today's Q&A session we're talking about the matchday experience for a sporting director.

They'll be short questions; please give short answers.

What pre-match rituals do you have?

I always try to follow the same positive processes after we've won a game,

so you think to yourself: "it'll work again today."

What kind of spectator would you describe yourself as?

Quiet and calm.

Who out of the current staff is the most jittery during a game?

Up to the end of last season it was our former physio Peter Kuhnt,

who now and then would lose control.

Now I'd have to say our whole coaching team is really calm.

They concentrate on coaching the team.

So far we've had four wins so there hasn't been much to go mad about.

What's the first thing you do when you get home after a match?

To be honest, and this isn't a product placement, I sit on the couch and turn Sky on,

and watch again if there's any kind of post-match analysis on.

How to follow your heart, when it feels like everything is against you. - Duration: 2:19.

- How do you follow your heart and do what

you really want when you feel as if

everything is up against you, how do you do that?

(peaceful music)

Society teaches us to play it safe,

to be acceptable, to be good, to be normal.

It teaches us to do that, to keep within the same system.

And when you go against that,

when you choose instead to follow your heart

and to go for what you really want

you're going against the flow and you feel uneasy,

and you feel uncomfortable.

You're choosing instead to rebel against

what you've been told you should do.

That's what you're doing when you choose to follow

your heart and that's why sometimes it can

feel uncomfortable.

It can feel exhausting because you're working against

this whole idea of what you should be doing.

So here's the first thing you need to do.

Get clear on what your heart really wants.

Forget about what you've been told by others,

get clear on what you want and then get stubborn.

Get stubborn for what you want.

Refuse to let go of it if it's what you really want.

Get picky about what you do and don't need to do

to achieve that and the stuff you don't need to do

and the stuff that isn't working for you, let it go.

Hand it over to somebody else who may want it

or just get rid of it.

That's how you deal with the backlash

that can come up when you choose to follow your heart.

That's how you go against the flow

and get to the other side.

That's how you do it.

So I've got a question for you now.

How do you help yourself to keep going

and following what's right for you

even when everything is up against you,

how do you do that?

I'd love to hear so comment below,

go ahead and like, share it with your friends,

and I'll be back here again next week

with another Big Hearted question.

How Do I Get Rid of My Pain? - Duration: 28:33.

ANNOUNCER: THE FOLLOWING PROGRAM IS PAID FOR

BY THE FRIENDS AND PARTNERS OF JOYCE MEYER MINISTRIES.

JOYCE: THERE'S SUCH A WONDERFUL PROMISE OF GOD

AND IT BASICALLY SAYS THAT, "FOR YOUR FORMER SHAME,

GOD WILL GIVE YOU A TWOFOLD RECOMPENSE."

AND RECOMPENSE IS ANOTHER WORD FOR REWARD.

GINGER: AS WE WALK THROUGH EACH NEW DAY,

WE ALL HAVE QUESTIONS.

THEY'RE JUST PART OF LIFE, BUT DID YOU KNOW THERE ARE

ANSWERS FOR YOU?

GOD SAYS WHEN WE LOOK, WE'LL FIND HIM.

HE'S NOT TRYING TO HIDE ANYTHING.

SO TOGETHER, WE ARE DISCOVERING LIFE'S EVERYDAY ANSWERS.

GINGER: WELCOME TO "EVERYDAY ANSWERS."

YOU KNOW, PAIN IS SOMETHING THAT WE ALL HAVE TO DEAL WITH

BUT HOW WE CHOOSE TO DEAL WITH IT IS VERY IMPORTANT.

SOMETIMES WE JUST DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO.

SO TODAY, JOYCE IS GOING TO ANSWER THE QUESTION,

"HOW DO I GET RID OF MY PAIN?" FIRST, SHE'S SHARING IN DETAIL

ABOUT THE PAIN SHE ENDURED FOR YEARS.

JOYCE: THE THINGS THAT I'M GONNA SHARE WITH YOU TODAY,

I'M NOT DOING IT BECAUSE I WANT TO BECAUSE, IN FACT, I DON'T.

IT'S VERY EASY NOW TO STAND UP AND SAY MY FATHER SEXUALLY

ABUSED ME BUT TO TELL YOU THE THINGS I'M GONNA TELL YOU TODAY,

SOME OF THE DETAILS, THAT'S NOT EASY.

AND I DON'T DO IT FOR ME.

I DON'T DO IT BECAUSE I NEED TO, BUT I BELIEVE THAT SEXUAL ABUSE

HAS BECOME SUCH A WORD THAT WE ACCEPT THAT NOBODY--

THAT PEOPLE DON'T EVEN REALLY GET IT ANYMORE.

IT'S JUST LIKE, "OH, YOU KNOW, YEAH, YOU WERE SEXUALLY ABUSED."

BUT I WANT YOU TO UNDERSTAND MORE ABOUT THE PAIN, AND THE

TRAUMA OF WHAT THAT MEANS TO HELP YOU, NOT ONLY UNDERSTAND

YOURSELF, BUT DEAL WITH SOME OF THE OTHER PEOPLE YOU MIGHT

BE DEALING WITH.

MY FATHER DID MANY PERVERTED THINGS AND YOU CAN BELIEVE ME

TODAY WHEN I TELL YOU THAT I'M ONLY GONNA TELL YOU A FEW.

THERE'S SOME THAT WOULD BE WAY TOO DISTASTEFUL FOR ME TO TRY TO

TALK ABOUT IN A CROWD LIKE THIS.

HE MADE ME LOOK THROUGH THE KEYHOLE AND WATCH HIM

AND MY MOTHER HAVING SEX AND THEN I WAS SUPPOSED TO

TELL HIM HOW IT MADE ME FEEL.

IF I WALKED INTO A ROOM WHERE HE WAS AND NOBODY ELSE WAS IN

THERE, HE WOULD GRAB HIMSELF OR REVEAL HIS PRIVATE PARTS AS IF

THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO EXCITE ME.

ANY TIME HE HAD OPPORTUNITY, HE GRABBED ME IN PERSONAL PLACES

SO I DESPISED EVEN HAVING TO GO INTO A ROOM WHERE HE WAS AT.

AND I REMEMBER WHEN I WAS AT HOME, MY GREATEST GOAL WAS TO

STAY OUT OF THE SPACE HE WAS IN.

IF HE WOULD GO TO THE BASEMENT OR THE GARAGE TO DO SOME WORK,

HE WOULD TELL ME TO WAIT 5 OR 10 MINUTES

AND THEN COME WHERE HE WAS AT, ACT AS IF I WAS LOOKING FOR HIM.

AND THEN HE WOULD MOLEST ME IN THOSE SITUATIONS, TOUCHING ME

AND MAKE ME TOUCH HIM.

I WAS CONTINUALLY FEARFUL THAT MY MOTHER WOULD COME IN THE ROOM

AND CATCH HIM AND BLAME ME.

WHEN HE WAS GONNA GO PLACES IN THE CAR, HE TOLD ME TO BEG TO GO

WITH HIM IN FRONT OF MY MOTHER AND THEN HE WOULD TELL ME NO

AND THEN I WAS SUPPOSED TO KEEP TRYING TO GET HIM TO LET ME GO

UNTIL HE FINALLY GAVE IN.

AND SO, IT'S KIND OF INTERESTING, HE HAD THIS THING

ALL SET UP TO WHERE IT LOOKED LIKE IT WAS ME.

I, OF COURSE, DID NOT REALLY WANT TO GO BECAUSE I KNEW

WHAT WAS GONNA HAPPEN IF I WENT, BUT I HAD TO DO WHAT I WAS TOLD.

MY MOTHER WENT TO THE GROCERY STORE EVERY FRIDAY MORNING

AND I SO DESPERATELY WANTED TO GO WITH HER, AND HE WOULD

MAKE ME BEG TO STAY HOME OR MAKE AN EXCUSE ABOUT WHY

I COULDN'T GO.

AND THEN WHILE HE WAS GONE--WHILE SHE WAS GONE,

HE WOULD RAPE ME.

WHEN WE WENT SWIMMING, I HAD TO ASK HIM TO TEACH ME

TO SWIM SO HE COULD TAKE ME OUT IN THE WATER

AND PUT HIS HANDS ON ME.

THERE WAS NO PLACE WHERE I EVER FELT SAFE WHEN I WAS GROWING UP.

HE WANTED ME TO BRING GIRLS HOME FROM SCHOOL SO HE COULD

TRY TO DO THINGS TO THEM.

I MANAGED TO MAKE EXCUSES FOR ALL THE GIRLS AT SCHOOL,

BUT HE DID ABUSE THE GIRL THAT LIVED NEXT DOOR TO US

A FEW TIMES.

SHE AND I WERE FRIENDS AND I REMEMBER MY FATHER

MAKING ME GET HER INTO A PLACE WHERE HE COULD BE ALONE WITH HER

AND THEN HE'D TELL ME TO GO OFF AND WAIT IN ANOTHER

AREA WHILE HE DID THINGS TO HER.

AND I WAS SO, SO PROFOUNDLY ASHAMED AND EMBARRASSED.

I WAS ASHAMED OF ME.

I WAS ASHAMED OF MY PARENTS.

I WAS ASHAMED OF WHAT THEY DID.

AND IT WASN'T UNTIL I WAS AN ADULT THAT I UNDERSTOOD

THE PROBLEM OF SHAME AND WHEN YOU'RE ASHAMED OF WHO YOU ARE,

HOW THAT POISONS ALL YOUR THOUGHTS AND YOUR ACTIONS.

AND I'M SO GRATEFUL THAT THE WORD OF GOD SAYS THAT,

"FOR YOUR FORMER SHAME, I WILL GIVE YOU A DOUBLE REWARD.

I WILL GIVE YOU A TWOFOLD RECOMPENSE."

I REMEMBER MY FATHER BEING VERY MEAN TO MY MOTHER.

EVERY SATURDAY NIGHT AS LONG AS I CAN EVER REMEMBER,

MY FATHER WENT OUT AND GOT DRUNK, I MEAN,

DRUNK, DRUNK, DOG DRUNK, FALLIN' DOWN DRUNK.

AND WHEN HE DRANK, HE GOT EVEN MEANER THAN NORMAL

AND VERY FREQUENTLY HE WOULD COME HOME ANGRY

AND VIOLENT.

IF MY MOTHER SAID OR DID ONE THING, ONE LITTLE THING

THAT WOULD SET HIM OFF, HE'D HIT HER AND SMACK HER.

AND THERE WERE TIMES WHEN I WOULD FIND HER--

I REMEMBER ONE TIME IN PARTICULAR, I FOUND HER

IN THE BATHROOM FLOOR THE NEXT MORNING ALL BEAT UP.

AND HE CONSTANTLY USED FILTHY LANGUAGE.

STILL TO THIS DAY, I CANNOT STAND CURSING.

I JUST--GOD, I HEARD SO MUCH OF THAT WHEN I WAS GROWING UP

AND I DESPISE IT.

HE DIDN'T PHYSICALLY HIT ME THAT MUCH BUT HE WOULD ALWAYS

THREATEN.

LIKE, I REMEMBER HIM PUTTIN' HIS FIST IN MY FACE LIKE I EVERY

TIME I WOULD DO SOMETHIN' HE DIDN'T WANT AND THAT THREAT

WAS THERE, YOU KNOW?

AND STILL TO THIS DAY, I CAN'T STAND IT IF SOMEBODY

GETS THEIR HANDS TOO CLOSE TO MY FACE.

YOU KNOW, IT'S LIKE, DON'T DO THAT.

HE WAS A CONTROLLER.

EVERYTHING HAD TO BE HIS WAY.

HE WAS VERY DEMANDING.

HE BELITTLED MY MOTHER ALL THE TIME.

THE FACT THAT MY MOTHER NEVER CONFRONTED MY FATHER

AND THAT SHE COWARD UNDER THAT TREATMENT--AND I HOPE

SOME PEOPLE HEAR THIS THAT ARE PUTTING UP WITH THAT KIND

OF STUFF.

IT HAD A PROFOUND EFFECT ON ME.

LET ME TELL YA SOMETHIN', YOUR CHILDREN LEARN MORE

BY JUST BEING AROUND YOU AND SEEING HOW YOU HANDLE

OR DON'T HANDLE THINGS THAN ANYTHING THAT YOU TRY

TO TELL THEM.

THE FACT THAT SHE COWARDED UNDER HIS TREATMENT REALLY AFFECTED

ME AND SO I GREW UP DESPISING WEAKNESS BECAUSE I HATED

THE FACT THAT MY MOTHER WAS TOO WEAK TO DEAL WITH HIM.

AND SO, I WAS DETERMINED THAT I WOULD NEVER BE WEAK.

WELL, IN A WAY, THAT WAS GOOD BECAUSE THAT DETERMINATION

HELPED GET ME THROUGH SOME OF THE YOUNG YEARS AND EVEN SOME

OF MY EARLY YEARS IN MINISTRY WHEN SO MANY PEOPLE

TURNED AGAINST ME.

WE LOST FRIENDS AND FAMILY, GOT ASKED TO LEAVE OUR CHURCH.

I MEAN, BEING A WOMAN IN MINISTRY 30 YEARS AGO

WAS NOT POPULAR.

AND THE WOMEN WHO WENT BEFORE YOU AND PAVED THE WAY FOR SOME

OF YOU THAT ARE COMING UP NOW, YOU BETTER THANK GOD FOR SOME OF

THE STUFF THAT WE WENT THROUGH THAT YOU DON'T HAVE TO.

AND SO, I HAD TO LEARN IN MY OWN PERSONAL LIFE THAT WE ALL DO

HAVE WEAKNESSES INCLUDING ME, AND THAT I COULDN'T HATE MYSELF

BECAUSE OF THEM, AND THAT I HAD TO TRUST GOD WITH SOME OF THEM,

DO MY BEST TO OVERCOME, LET HIS STRENGTH FLOW THROUGH THEM.

BUT ANOTHER THING THAT BECAME A REAL PROBLEM FOR ME WAS

I JUST REALLY HAD A PROBLEM WITH WEAK PEOPLE.

I MEAN, I COULD NOT HANDLE WHINERS AND PEOPLE WHO SAID,

"I CAN'T," AND, "IT'S TOO HARD."

AND I AM JUST LIKE, "GET AWAY FROM ME.

DO NOT TELL ME WHAT HARD IS BECAUSE YOU DON'T KNOW

WHAT HARD IS."

BUT THERE ARE PEOPLE IN THE WORLD THAT ARE JUST BUILT

BY GOD IN SUCH A WAY THAT THEY CAN HANDLE A LOT MORE

THAN OTHER PEOPLE.

AND THANK GOD I HAPPEN TO BE ONE OF THOSE PEOPLE.

AND THERE ARE OTHER PEOPLE THAT HANDLE THAT MUCH.

AND HERE AGAIN, WE NEED TO RESPECT PEOPLE FOR THE WAY

THEY ARE.

AND IF PEOPLE ARE DOING THEIR BEST, THEN WE SHOULD NEVER

PUT THEM DOWN.

AND FOR WHATEVER REASON, I DO BELIEVE THAT MY MOTHER

WAS DOING WHAT SHE KNEW TO DO.

IN THOSE DAYS, NOBODY HEARD OF ABUSE.

NOBODY TALKED ABOUT SEXUAL ABUSE.

THERE WERE NO OPRAHS ON TELEVISION.

THERE WAS NO PROGRAMS ON TELEVISION MAKING IT PLAIN

WHAT ABUSE DID TO PEOPLE.

NOBODY TALKED ABOUT IT.

NOBODY TALKED ABOUT IT.

BACK THEN PEOPLE DIDN'T-- RARELY HEARD OF ANYBODY

GETTING A DIVORCE.

AND SO, IT WAS 30 YEARS AFTER ALL THIS HAPPENED BEFORE

MY MOTHER FINALLY TALKED TO ME ABOUT IT.

AND SHE SAID, "I'M SORRY FOR WHAT I LET YOUR FATHER DO TO

YOU BUT THE TRUTH IS IS I JUST COULDN'T FACE THE SCANDAL."

SHE SAID, "I JUST DIDN'T KNOW WHAT TO DO.

I DIDN'T KNOW HOW TO SUPPORT YOU AND YOUR BROTHER.

I DIDN'T--" I MEAN, MY MOTHER LIVED ON A FARM IN

SOUTHEAST MISSOURI.

MY DAD DID.

SHE MARRIED MY DAD WHEN SHE WAS 17.

AND SOMEBODY TOLD ME HE'D ALREADY BEAT HER UP ONCE BEFORE

THEY GOT MARRIED SO, YOU KNOW, YOU'D THINK THAT WOULD

GIVE YOU A CLUE.

BUT, YOU KNOW, PEOPLE SOMETIMES ARE SO DESPERATE FOR LOVE

THAT THEY DO THINGS THAT DON'T EVEN MAKE ANY SENSE.

AMEN?

AND SO, I--YOU KNOW, I'M NOT MAD AT HER.

I'M NOT MAD AT ANYBODY.

BUT WHEN I HAD MY OWN CHILDREN, IT REALLY BECAME HARD FOR ME TO

UNDERSTAND HOW MY MOTHER COULD NOT HELP ME IN THAT SITUATION.

AND I--TO BE HONEST, I ACTUALLY CAME TO A POINT WHERE IT BECAME

HARDER FOR ME--I THINK I FELT MORE RESENTMENT TOWARD HER

THAN I DID EVEN TOWARD MY DAD BECAUSE, YOU KNOW, I KNEW

HE WAS MESSED UP AND--I DIDN'T BACK THEN WHEN I WAS A CHILD.

BUT I LEARNED IN LATER YEARS THROUGH THE WORD OF GOD

THAT HURTING PEOPLE HURT PEOPLE.

AND I EVEN LEARNED THAT HE HAD GROWN UP IN AN INCESTUOUS

ATMOSPHERE IN HIS OWN FAMILY.

AND SO, HE WAS ACTING OUT SOME LEARNED BEHAVIOR.

YOU KNOW, IT'S REALLY--IT'S EASIER FOR YOU TO FORGIVE

PEOPLE IF YOU CAN UNDERSTAND THAT SOMETHING'S MESSED UP

IN THEM TOO, YOU KNOW?

SO, I WAS ABUSED BY MY FATHER AND ABANDONED BY MY MOTHER

TO THE ABUSE.

AT SCHOOL, I PRETENDED TO HAVE A NORMAL LIFE.

ALL THE PRETENSE, MY, MY.

BUT I FELT LONELY ALL THE TIME AND I FELT DIFFERENT ALL

THE TIME.

NEVER FELT LIKE I FIT IN.

I COULDN'T MAKE FRIENDS WITH ANYBODY.

I WAS NEVER ALLOWED TO PARTICIPATE IN AN AFTER-SCHOOL

ACTIVITY.

NEVER WENT TO A BALL GAME OF ANY KIND, NO KIND OF A SPORTS

ACTIVITY.

COULDN'T TAKE PART IN ANYTHING.

I HAD ONLY SO MANY MINUTES TO GET HOME FROM SCHOOL BECAUSE

MY FATHER ALWAYS SUSPECTED THAT I MIGHT BE OUT DOING SOMETHING

WITH A BOY.

IT'S KIND OF INTERESTING THAT GUILT ALWAYS BREEDS SUSPICION.

HAD NO FRIENDS AND, OF COURSE, I WAS NEVER ALLOWED TO DATE.

I NEVER ATTENDED A PARTY.

MY FATHER WOULD NOT BUY ME A GRADUATION DRESS, A CLASS RING,

OR SENIOR PICTURES.

HE THOUGHT ALL THOSE THINGS WERE STUPID AND A WASTE OF MONEY.

SO, THEN I HAD TO TRY TO EXPLAIN TO MY CLASSMATES WHY I NEVER

GOT TO DO THE THINGS THAT THEY GOT TO DO.

NEVER CAME TO ANYTHING.

NEVER WENT TO ANYTHING.

COULDN'T GET A CLASS RING.

COULDN'T DO THIS.

COULDN'T DO THAT.

AND SO, THAT WAS MORE PRETENSE AND MAKING UP MORE STORIES.

AND IT WAS JUST AWFUL, JUST ABSOLUTELY AWFUL.

I REMEMBER A TIME WHEN I WAS REALLY YOUNG AND THEY HAD

A HALLOWEEN PARTY AT SCHOOL, AND MY MOM DIDN'T KNOW ANY BETTER

AND SHE DIDN'T HAVE MUCH MONEY ANYWAY AND SHE BOUGHT ME

THIS UGLY, RUBBER WOLF MASK.

AND WHEN ALL THE OTHER LITTLE GIRLS SHOWED UP,

THEIR MOMS HAD MADE THEM PRINCESS COSTUMES,

AND THEY WERE LITTLE FAIRIES, AND THEY HAD ALL THIS CHIFFON,

AND THEY ALL LOOKED SO BEAUTIFUL.

AND I HAD MY WOLF MASK.

AND I REMEMBER GOING AND HIDING IN THE CORNER OF THE SCHOOLYARD

BECAUSE I FELT SO TERRIBLE ABOUT THE WAY I LOOKED.

IT'S INTERESTING THE THINGS THAT YOU REMEMBER.

AND I CAN REMEMBER BEING IN THAT CORNER IN THAT SCHOOLYARD

JUST AS PLAIN WITH THAT OLD RUBBER WOLF MASK ON.

I THINK THAT'S KIND OF THE WAY I FELT LIKE EVERYBODY ELSE WAS A

FAIRY PRINCESS AND I WAS A WOLF.

I BECAME ASHAMED OF MYSELF BECAUSE OF WHAT WAS BEING DONE

TO ME AND I GREW UP VERY LONELY.

HE TOOK ME WITH HIM TO BARS ON SATURDAY NIGHT WHEN I GOT INTO

MY TEENAGE YEARS WHERE HE WOULD GET VERY DRUNK AND THEN

HE'D FORCE ME TO HAVE SEX WITH HIM IN THE BACKSEAT OF THE CAR.

ONCE A POLICE OFFICER CAUGHT HIM AND I THOUGHT, FINALLY,

SOMEBODY'S GONNA HELP ME.

I WAS SO GLAD.

BUT HE AND MY FATHER TALKED OUTSIDE THE CAR FOR A WHILE

AND THEN MY DAD FINALLY TOLD ME, HE SAID, "I TOLD HIM YOU'RE MY

COUSIN AND HE PROMISED TO LET US GO IF I WOULD LET HIM

HAVE SEX WITH YOU.

SO, YOU'RE GONNA JUST HAVE TO DO IT BECAUSE OTHERWISE WE'RE GONNA

END UP GOIN' TO JAIL."

WELL, THANK GOD THE POLICE OFFICER GOT A CALL ON HIS RADIO

AND I GOT OUT OF THAT ONE.

ONE TIME MY MOTHER WENT TO THE HOSPITAL AND I WROTE MY FATHER

A LONG LETTER TELLING HIM HOW DIRTY ALL THIS MADE ME FEEL

AND HOW MANY BATHS I TOOK A DAY TRYING TO GET RID

OF THE FEELING.

AND TOOK ALL THE COURAGE THAT I POSSIBLY MUSTER TO WRITE HIM

A LETTER ASKING HIM TO STOP.

AND HE WORKED NIGHTS SO HE GOT HOME AROUND MIDNIGHT AND MAN,

HE CAME IN MY ROOM RANTING, AND RAVING, AND SO MAD.

AND SO, I ENDED UP, JUST OUT OF FEAR,

APOLOGIZING TO HIM AND TELLING HIM I SHOULD HAVE

NEVER WRITTEN THE LETTER.

I'M HAPPY TO SAY THAT GOD GAVE ME THE GRACE TO COMPLETELY

100% FORGIVE MY FATHER.

IT TOOK SOME TIME BUT I WAS ABLE TO DO IT.

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: AND I HAD FORGIVEN HIM, BUT I HAD NOT TOTALLY

FORGIVEN HIM AND I REALIZED THAT WHEN GOD ASKED ME SEVERAL YEARS

AGO TO BRING MY MOM AND DAD TO ST. LOUIS FROM WHERE THEY LIVED

IN SOUTHEAST MISSOURI AND MOVE THEM CLOSE TO OUR HOME AND TAKE

CARE OF THEM UNTIL THEY DIED.

AND I THOUGHT, "YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING."

I MEAN, AT FIRST I JUST REBUKED IT.

I SAID, THERE IS NO WAY THIS IS GOD.

NO LOVING GOOD GOD WOULD ASK ME TO DO THAT.

OH, THAT WAS SO HARD FOR ME.

MY GOD, THAT WAS HARD FOR ME TO DO.

BUT I, BY THEN, I HAD ENOUGH EXPERIENCE TO KNOW WHEN GOD IS

DEALING WITH ME AND I ALSO KNOW THAT GOD NEVER TELLS US TO DO

ANYTHING IF IT'S NOT GONNA WORK OUT FOR OUR GOD.

I WANT YOU TO REMEMBER THAT.

GOD WILL NEVER TELL YOU TO DO ANYTHING IF IT'S NOT GONNA WORK

OUT FOR YOUR GOOD.

ONE THANKSGIVING MORNING MY MOTHER CALL AND SAID,

"YOUR DAD WOULD LIKE YOU TO COME OVER.

HE WANTS TO TALK TO YOU."

SHE SAID, "I DON'T KNOW WHAT'S WRONG WITH HIM.

HE'D BEEN CRYIN' FOR ABOUT 3 WEEKS."

SHE SAID, "I THINK I KNOW BUT YOU BETTER COME OVER."

SO, DAVE AND I WENT OVER AND HE LOOKED AT ME

AND HE STARTED CRYING AND HE SAID, "I JUST NEED

TO TELL YA HOW SORRY I AM FOR WHAT I DID TO YOU."

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: AND HE SAID, "I'VE BEEN WANTIN'

TO SAY SOMETHING FOR 3 YEARS BUT I JUST WASN'T MAN ENOUGH.

I DIDN'T HAVE THE GUTS TO DO IT."

AND MY FATHER, BY THE WAY, RECEIVED CHRIST THAT DAY.

WE BAPTIZED HIM 10 DAYS LATER.

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: AMEN?

AND HE DIED ABOUT 3 YEARS AGO, BUT I MEAN THAT MAN WAS CHANGED.

I MEAN, HE ACTUALLY BECAME A SWEET, OLD GUY.

I COULD ACTUALLY KISS HIM ON THE CHEEK AND NOT BE AFRAID.

AND, SO THAT WAS A BIG BLACK EYE FOR HELL.

I BELIEVE THAT GOD PUTS A SEED OF GREATNESS IN EVERYONE.

I BELIEVE THERE'S MORE CAPABILITIES INSIDE OF YOU

THAN WHAT YOU CAN EVEN BEGIN TO IMAGINE BUT SATAN TRIES

TO DIMINISH US.

HE TRIES TO DEMEAN US AND BELITTLE US THROUGH

PEOPLE MISTREATING US.

BUT I WANT YOU TO KNOW TODAY THAT EVEN THOUGH I WAS

BEIN' ABUSED, AND ABANDONED, AND IT SEEMED THAT NOBODY

WAS GONNA HELP ME, AND THAT IT WOULD NEVER END,

RIGHT IN THE MIDST OF THAT, GOD HAD A PLAN.

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: GOD HAD A PLAN.

GINGER: JOYCE IS COMING RIGHT BACK TO SHARE MORE OF HER STORY.

AND, YOU KNOW, IT'S EVEN HARD TO LISTEN TO BECAUSE YOU JUST FEEL

HER PAIN.

I REMEMBER THE NIGHT THAT SHE WAS SHARING

THIS AT THE CONFERENCE AND IT WAS HARD FOR HER.

SHE'S ALWAYS BEEN VERY TRANSPARENT ABOUT WHAT

HAS GONE ON IN HER LIFE BUT THIS WAS DETAIL

THAT SHE REALLY NEVER SHARED BEFORE.

SHE DID IT BECAUSE SHE KNEW THAT GOD WANTED HER TO FOR HER

HEALING, AND FOR YOUR HEALING, FOR ALL OF US.

AND THERE'S POWER IN OUR STORY.

THERE'S POWER IN SHARING WHAT GOD HAS DONE.

SO, COMING UP, JOYCE IS GOING TO ANSWER THAT QUESTION,

"HOW TO GET RID OF MY PAIN."

BUT FIRST, LET'S TAKE A LOOK AT YOUR STORY.

THIS COMES FROM SOCIAL MEDIA AND LAURIE SAYS, "GROWING UP,

MY FAMILY WAS IN THE OCCULT AND I WAS IN BONDAGE TO

SEX TRAFFICKING UNTIL I WAS 19.

MY ROAD HAS NEVER BEEN EASY, BUT GOD HAS BLESSED ME WITH

A RICH FAITH AND A LARGE FAMILY OF MY OWN.

I CAN TESTIFY THAT GOD IS WEAVING SOMETHING BEAUTIFUL

OUT OF MY LIFE.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR TRANSPARENCY."

SHE SAYS TO JOYCE.

"KEEPING ME IN THE WORD AND HELPING ME TO HAVE A HABIT

OF HOPE."

WOW.

THANK YOU FOR SHARING THAT WITH US.

AND YOU SEE HOW MUCH SO MANY OF YOU ARE HURTING BUT DO KNOW THAT

GOD IS BIGGER THAN EVERYTHING YOU HAVE EVER DEALT WITH.

GOD IS HERE TO HELP YOU RIGHT NOW.

SO, TELL US HOW GOD HAS HELPED YOU OR IS HELPING YOU HEAL

FROM THE PAIN OF CHILD ABUSE.

LET US KNOW SO THAT WE CAN ALL SHARE IN OUR EXPERIENCES

AND OUR HEALING TOGETHER.

USE FACEBOOK, TWITTER, #EA.

AND RIGHT NOW, HERE'S JOYCE TO ANSWER THE QUESTION,

"HOW DO I GET RID OF MY PAIN?" JOYCE: I WAS SEXUALLY,

MENTALLY, EMOTIONALLY AND VERBALLY ABUSED BY MY FATHER AS

FAR BACK AS I CAN REMEMBER UNTIL I FINALLY LEFT HOME AT AGE 18.

ABUSE MEANS TO BE MISUSED, USED IMPROPERLY, TO BE USED UP,

OR TO BE WASTED, TO USE IN SUCH A WAY AS TO CAUSE

HARM OR DAMAGE OR TO BE TREATED CRUELLY.

PEOPLE LISTENING OR PEOPLE HERE TODAY MAY HAVE BEEN SEXUALLY,

EMOTIONALLY, MENTALLY, PHYSICALLY OR VERBALLY ABUSED

BUT ALL TYPES OF ABUSE ARE DAMAGING.

ANYTIME WE'RE MISUSED OR USED FOR A PURPOSE

OTHER THAN WHICH GOD INTENDED US FOR, IT IS DAMAGING.

IT TRAUMATIZES US AND THE WORD "TRAUMA" MEANS ABUSE,

ESPECIALLY REPEATED ABUSE, WHICH TRAUMATIZES THE INDIVIDUAL

BEING ABUSED.

THEY BECOME WOUNDED.

THEY SUSTAIN A SHOCK THAT CREATES SEVERE AND POSSIBLY

LASTING DAMAGE TO THE PSYCHOLOGICAL DEVELOPMENT

OF THE INDIVIDUAL.

NOW, THINK ABOUT THAT.

WHEN A PERSON HAS BEEN REPEATEDLY MISTREATED,

IT CHANGES THE WAY THEY THINK.

IT CHANGES THE WAY THEY SEE PEOPLE.

IT CHANGES THE WAY THEY SEE THEMSELVES.

IT CAN CHANGE THE WAY THEY MIGHT BE ABLE TO SEE GOD.

IT MESSES UP THEIR EMOTIONS.

THEY JUST BEGIN TO REACT TO THINGS AND MANY TIMES HAVE

NO SELF-CONTROL OVER HOW THEY BEHAVE.

THEY'RE ANGRY.

THEY FEEL LIKE THEY'RE DUE SOMETHING BECAUSE THEY KNOW THAT

WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO THEM IS NOT RIGHT, YET THEY DON'T KNOW

WHAT TO DO ABOUT IT.

MANY OF THOSE PEOPLE SPEND THEIR LIFE IN BITTERNESS

AND RESENTMENT USING ALL KINDS OF WORLDLY THINGS TO TRY

TO DROWN THEIR PAIN, WHETHER IT'S SUCCESS,

OR BUYING THINGS, OR RELATIONSHIPS,

OR SOME KIND OF SUBSTANCE ABUSE.

YOU CAN ONLY TAKE SO MUCH PAIN AND THEN YOU HAVE TO DO

SOMETHING TO GET RID OF IT.

BUT GOD OFFERS US A PLAN WHERE WE DON'T JUST COVER IT UP

AND NEED ANOTHER FIX EVERY DAY BUT WHERE WE CAN ACTUALLY

BECOME A BRAND-NEW CREATURE.

I LOVE 2 CORINTHIANS 5:17, MY GOSH, WHAT A WONDERFUL

SCRIPTURE.

"IF ANY MAN BE IN CHRIST, HE IS A NEW CREATURE.

OLD THINGS PASS AWAY AND ALL THINGS BECOME BRAND NEW."

NOW, THAT DOESN'T MEAN THAT THAT JUST LIKE HAPPENS

BUT WHAT IT MEANS IS WHEN YOU RECEIVE CHRIST, YOU HAVE

A BRAND-NEW OPPORTUNITY.

YOU NEVER HAVE TO BE HOPELESS AGAIN BECAUSE GOD PROMISES

THAT HE CAN RESTORE, RENEW, LIFT, HEAL.

AND THERE'S SUCH A WONDERFUL PROMISE IN THE WORD OF GOD

THAT I'M GONNA SHOW YA IN JUST A LITTLE BIT THAT IT

SHOULD LEAVE US SO EXCITED.

ANYONE WHO'S BEEN ABUSED CAN FULLY RECOVER, FULLY RECOVER.

NOW, THERE ARE THINGS THAT I WILL NEVER HAVE THAT SURE

I WOULD HAVE LIKED TO HAVE HAD.

I'LL NEVER KNOW WHAT IT'S LIKE TO HAVE A GREAT DAD.

I'LL NEVER KNOW WHAT IT'S LIKE TO BE ABLE TO SIT ON MY DAD'S

LAP, PUT MY ARMS AROUND HIS NECK AND JUST GET A HUG WITHOUT FEAR

THAT IT'S GONNA TURN INTO SOMETHIN' ELSE.

I'LL NEVER BE ABLE TO BE HURTING, AND ASK MY DAD

TO GO HAVE COFFEE WITH ME, AND SIT DOWN AND JUST TELL HIM

WHAT I'M GOING THROUGH, AND HAVE HIM REALLY CARE.

I'LL NEVER HAVE THAT.

I'LL NEVER REALLY HAVE A MOTHER THAT REALLY CAN BE WHAT

A PERSON NEEDS AS A MOTHER.

MY MOM, SHE'S A SWEET LADY, BUT SHE WAS ALSO SO MESSED UP

FROM THE ABUSE IN OUR HOME AND DIDN'T JUST HAVE

THE RIGHT PERSONALITY OR THE COURAGE TO KNOW

HOW TO DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT.

AND SO, SO IT'S JUST NOT THE KIND OF SITUATION IF I'M HURTING

I'VE GOT A--I'VE GOT A MOM AND A DAD THAT I CAN GO TO AND SAY,

"GEE MOM, I'D LIKE TO COME HOME FOR DINNER AND TALK ABOUT WHAT'S

GOING ON IN MY LIFE."

I CAN'T DO THAT.

BUT I HAVE SOMETHING BETTER.

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: BECAUSE I HAVE A WALK WITH GOD AND A RELATIONSHIP WITH

GOD THAT IS THE ABSOLUTE MOST WONDERFUL AND PRECIOUS THING

IN THE WHOLE WORLD.

AND THE BIBLE SAYS IN PSALM 27:10,

"EVEN IF YOUR MOTHER AND FATHER FORSAKE YOU, I WILL TAKE YOU UP

AND ADOPT YOU AND I WILL MAKE YOU MY OWN CHILD."

AMEN?

IN ISAIAH 61, VERSE 7, THERE'S SUCH A WONDERFUL PROMISE

OF GOD.

AND IT BASICALLY SAYS THAT, "FOR YOUR FORMER SHAME,

GOD WILL GIVE YOU A TWOFOLD RECOMPENSE."

AND RECOMPENSE IS ANOTHER WORD FOR REWARD OR PAYBACK.

"INSTEAD OF DISHONOR AND REPROACH, YOUR PEOPLE SHALL

REJOICE IN THEIR PORTION AND THEREFORE IN THEIR LAND,"

NOT WHEN THEY DIE AND GO TO HEAVEN.

COME ON, NOW.

IN THEIR LAND, THEY SHALL POSSESS DOUBLE

WHAT THEY HAD TO GIVE UP.

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: AND EVERLASTING JOY SHALL BE THEIRS.

AND YOU NEED TO LEARN THAT SCRIPTURE AND THAT'S ONE OF THE

THINGS YOU NEED TO KEEP PRAYIN' AND SAYIN' UNTIL YOU SEE IT

COME TO PASS IN YOUR LIFE.

I DIDN'T GET FROM WHERE I WAS TO WHERE I AM OVERNIGHT.

AND IT WASN'T WITHOUT EFFORT, AND A LOT OF PAIN, AND A MILLION

TIMES OF WANTIN' TO GIVE UP.

BUT THERE'S SCRIPTURES IN THE WORD OF GOD, PROMISES IN THE

WORD OF GOD THAT YOU CAN HOLD ON TO DURING THOSE MIDNIGHT HOURS,

AND THOSE DARK TIMES, AND THOSE LONELY TIMES THAT LITERALLY HAVE

THE POWER TO PULL YOU THROUGH.

AND I KEPT SAYIN' TO GOD, "YOU HAVE PROMISED ME

A DOUBLE REWARD.

YOU HAVE PROMISED IF WE WILL FOLLOW YOU AND DO THINGS YOUR

WAY, THAT WE WILL HAVE A DOUBLE REWARD IN OUR LIFE.

AND I AM LOOKING FOR DOUBLE REWARD."

AMEN?

AND I THINK IT'S PLEASING TO GOD WHEN WE SAY,

"AND I WILL NOT DO WITHOUT IT.

I WILL NOT BE DENIED."

YOU SAY, "WELL, ISN'T THAT A LITTLE HAUGHTY?"

NO, IT'S ABSOLUTELY NOT BECAUSE THE BIBLE SAYS THAT THE PROMISES

OF GOD ARE FOR WHOSOEVER AND I FIT INTO THAT CATEGORY,

AND SO DO YOU.

GINGER: IT IS SO IMPORTANT TO REALIZE THAT JUST AS JOYCE

HAS FOUND IT, YOU TOO CAN FIND THE FREEDOM IN CHRIST THAT SHE

IS EXPERIENCING TODAY.

AND SHE WANTS TO HELP YOU ALONG THE WAY OF THAT JOURNEY.

How Diamond Dallas Page Went From Hall Of Fame Wrestler To Fitness Guru - Duration: 2:37.

Diamond Dallas Page is...

The man.

One of the all time great wrestlers.

Master of the Diamond Cutter!

DDP!

You know, I was in so much pain.

Doctors said I was never going to wrestle again.

To start in the business at 35

and still have a level of success –

And now he's become

an incredible character after wrestling.

Because that's really what DDP was about,

trying to get me out of pain so I can still

live the dream,

and I'm the guy who wouldn't be caught dead doing yoga.

One of my matches, from '96 on,

would be like having five or six car accidents.

I mean, like, car crashes every night.

It's a lot of wear and tear on your body.

We go so far

it ends up changing their life completely

and a lot of people,

they write me all the time, "You saved my life."

He not only physically saves their life,

but he mentally and emotionally saves their life.

I bought the DVD's, the guy is awesome.

You know, I do DDP Yoga myself.

I played football for years.

My body's a mess.

I know for sure because I purchased DDP Yoga.

How he's been able to rehabilitate and

change the lives in a very positive way for a lot

of our favorite wrestlers –

It boggles my mind when you go look at Chris Jericho,

this cat's 46.

If he wasn't doing DDP Yoga, there's no way.

What he's doing now is a huge contribution to it.

He's been very successful.

He's certainly helped a lot of people out with it.

I think, honestly, I think

his legacy will be more for what he's done after the...

after wrestling, I think.

That makes him to me iconic in a different way

than anyone else in history.

He was the biggest long shot

in the history of this business

and to know now that he's

writing this other chapter,

which is still helping me,

you know...

I don't know if I have

the words to say how much I look up to him.

He's someone that

I get emotional every time I think about.

Einstein once said it's not that I'm so smart.

I just stick with the problem longer.

I honestly believe that at some point,

my program is going to dwarf my wrestling career.

Behind the Scenes of #DemoReelDay live stream - Duration: 1:44.

So here we are, it is the morning of #DemoReelDay and I am about to

pick up a cast mate for the show Run! 🏃🏻which is the

entertainment sponsor, and then we are going to go to the wild world of

downtown LA and we are going to live stream from there this afternoon.

I've already been seeing all sorts of people lighting up #DemoReelDay

on Twitter, watched a lot of good reels, had some good conversations with people.

We are right now in downtown LA, about going to the building we're gonna

live stream from. With Jasmine who is also in the cast of Run! 🏃🏻and we are awaiting

starting our live stream. I have spoken with my point of contact Greg, who is

extremely helpful: hooking us up with the space. And this is the ever so slightly

smoggy view from the WeWork offices at the 35th floor of the Gas Tower in

downtown Los Angeles California.

I don't know why I had to make that

some sort of announcer voice.

So, we just finished the #DemoReelDay live stream, and it went better

than I kind of expected it could have. We had technical challenges and

difficulties because doing something like this, that is very complicated in a

number of ways, without all the monies in the world is not always easy. But it was

great, and I think the people we had were great, and Ivory our production manager

was great. And we are all actors so you should hire us all. And thank you very

much for watching. Thanks for watching.

"...we'll sell Auba before then!" 😉 | One more Question, Michael Zorc! - Duration: 0:55.

Hello Michael. Auba scored another two goals.

If my maths is right, it won't be long before he overtakes you in the Borussia Dortmund all-time goalscorer list.

Does that not bother you at all, despite your obvious ability to heal quickly?

Carsten, 48, from Münster.

With short cropped hair.

He sneaked into your office, did you see that?

Yes I saw, it was my television. Short answer…

You know who it was?

Yes of course, Carsten Cramer, with the short haircut.

But you don't have any fears about losing your record?

No, we'll sell him before then.

He'll be off.

One goal to go…

He's gone.
