Trying exotic fruits - Miguel in Bogotá - Duration: 17:58.Did you put salt already?
Yes, just a little
A little is enough
So now I have to say that every time I appear in one of your videos??
Yes, every time you appear you have to say Simon G and #gomitaarmy
So tell me about your project?
It focuses on visiting markets and it's products
And where these products come from, whether that's the field
We'd like to show people, especially foreigners, anything that goes on in a market
Whether that's in Bogota or around Bogota
We want it to be an authentic experience
We don't have much prepared in terms of what will happen
We simply go and see what goes on
Our company is called Chasing Plazas
Because we are always on the lookout to see where there is a new festival that we could visit
Almost every weekend there is a celebration somewhere
Is it in Bogota and around the city or also in the rest of the country?
No, in Bogota and the villages around it
The idea is that you go, spend the day there and then come back to Bogota in the afternoon
Every time it is something different, a different celebration
Something that we won't have visited ourselves
Last week we were in Guatavita
We went there and had a look around
They had a giant pastry to celebrate
A giant pastry?
For the whole village
How big was it?
The size of this table
The width and the length
It took 8 people to carry it
And do a lot of foreigners visit this market?
Yes, you have specialised tours. We know of two companies
Yes, there are other companies that come here
We think this is interesting because there is such a wide variety of things
Especially all the different fruits
But what motivates us most is visiting the festivals
I think that is something new for us and also for the people we take
We really don't know what we'll encounter
The idea is to interact with the people in the market
Ask them stuff, they are very happy to talk
They will tell you everything you want to know
But at the moment you have a blog where you talk about these markets?
We're a building our website at the moment
I sent you the link
Yes, I will put the link in the description
It's called Chasing Plazas, right?
The link I sent you is from wordpress
We don't use that one anymore
The new website is chasingplazas.com
We've got the URL
Our page has a part for our blog where we publish articles
We want this experience to be an introduction for foreigners which they can then use for the rest of their stay in Colombia
For example we have tips on how to negotiate with vendors so you get a better price
So what? When you get here looking like a gringo you don't get the best price?
That never happened to me
It's an art form
Francisco's family is paisa, they are good at negotiating
What's your best tip for when you are negotiating with a vendor?
What's the strategy?
It's like a dance
You need to follow a few steps
First you ask what the price is and then you say: But why is it so expensive?
But why is it so expensive?
With a very serious face
You don't get impressed easily
And then you ask: What's the minimum price?
If I take them right now, what's the price?
Then you say that it's still too expensive
And then you start to leave
The person will start lowering the price while you walk away
For me the issue is that things aren't expensive
I feel quite bad saying: 20,000 pesos, why is it so expensive?
What's this?
It's called Changua
What is in it?
It has egg, bread swimming in milk
A swimming pool of milk and coriander
Looks like it's quite heavy?
It's a very good breakfast
That's like breakfast and lunch together, like brunch
That's very funny: Changua is like brunch
So the idea is we'll do a tour of the market
We've already seen the flower market
But now I know: Why is it so expensive?
Why so expensive? What's your best price?
If I buy it now, how much would it be?
Oh no, that's very expensive
They also know I am a foreigner with my gringo face. They know 20,000 isn't much
What do you think of the market?
All very expensive?
I've been to several markets before
But since I used to live in Chia I never came to this one
I've never been here and things are almost for free
Not free but super cheap
Thank you for the invitation
Lets find a cash point and buy some flowers
I'm showing them around
This fruit you need to eat with honey?
How do you eat a chontaduro?
A lot of people eat it only with salt
With salt?
Salt and honey
No?
This isn't starting well if two people don't want to eat it
Did you put salt? Yes, a little bit
A little is enough
I can imagine that with honey it's a lot better
Honey, salt and lime
It's very dry
Well, lets wait to see if we can find honey
This is to get rid of the taste of the chontaduro

Livid NFL Owner Just Gave Every Kneeling Player In League SHOCKING Ultimatum Before Next Game - Duration: 5:20.It was only a matter of time before the National Anthem protests reached a point - where something
truly major happened that with irreversible consequences.
One particularly livid NFL team owner just offered that opportunity to every protesting
player in the league in with a shocking ultimatum before any of them take the field, or a knee,
at their next game.
Anti-American protests have hijacked the America's sport, killing off fans at a rapid rate.
The rhetoric is a virus to the league that has become an epidemic and it's making the
mass majority of America sick.
Despite the fact that those who are a part of the problem refuse to see the destruction
to their careers and the industry it's causing, one team owner has had enough and is the first
to make a statement that's being heard loud and clear.
Only the people on their knee and those who support them are too blind to see that the
mass majority of Americans are really sick of seeing this statement.
This isn't limited to conservatives, people on both sides of the aisle are essentially
over this tired statement after the point has been made more than enough.
More now than ever, it's not about bringing attention to anything other than themselves
and the trend has now encroached into dangerous territory that puts the entire NFL at risk.
NFL owners have invested fortunes into their team franchises that to lose so much of that
investment over this idiocy seems like a waste.
While most refuse to see it, one owner recognizes what's at risk and is beyond livid at seeing
the fallout from this.
As such, he issued a very specific promise about what he'll do if these players, on
any team, continue this obnoxious debauchery.
The NFL and progressives have pushed this divisive and anti-American protesting too
far, sending one owner over the edge and rightfully so.
The owner, who is a shareholder of the Green Bay Packers, who apparently didn't want
the Daily Caller to identify him by name, unloaded his ultimatum to the players and
didn't hold back when he expressed how upset he is with protesting.
"I am fucking livid right now.
I see this shit and I lose my mind.
It needs to end immediately," the owner shouted over the phone the phone with the
news source on Monday night.
He then shocked the site with what he vowed to do if these actions continued to take over
games.
"I'll give up football completely and find something else to do with my time if
this continues," he added.
"This horse shit must end.
These players are so out of touch.
They disrespect our flag and then wonder why Trump won.
It's a no-brainer.
This is so disrespectful."
"People will run to college football over the NFL in droves if these protests continue,"
the owner ended the conversation in saying.
Regardless of how much money he has in his team, he's willing to relinquish control
over his massive investment because he's so fed up, and who can blame him?
Despite it being disrespectful, it's nauseating to see.
People are tired of it, including the guy who has a ton of money invested in it.
The players are too arrogant to see it or care because they are loving all the attention
they're getting for it.
"To be clear, the owner we spoke with is a shareholder of the Green Bay Packers.
We feel this makes him uniquely qualified to put his finger on the pulse of everyday
Americans, as opposed to possibly out of touch billionaires that own other NFL franchises,"
the Daily Caller added.
The coach of the Green Bay Packers has been outspoken against these protests as well,
taking a very specific approach to combating it on his field that others could certainly
learn from.
Coach Mike McCarthy has something else planned for these anti-American stars who think they
are going to get away with protesting on his field.
They are paid millions to play a game – not make negative political statements.
Madison.com reports:
Mike McCarthy doesn't know if anyone on his sideline will join the ranks of NFL players
using the national anthem as an opportunity to protest.
But if they do, the Green Bay Packers coach can say this for certain: They will do so
with a knowledge of the history of the anthem and an understanding of how important he believes
it is.
McCarthy has taken it upon himself to educate his players on why we stand for the anthem
since ignorance is why most of the idiotic athletes are sitting or kneeling on the sidelines.
He's putting knowledge of the real history of this nation on the field to stop players
from making fools of themselves with protests.
When entitled, disrespectful players from other teams show up to his field, they are
going to see what real men who respect this nation look like.
In turn, those sitting out will look stupid in the shadows of the heroes standing for
the anthem.
McCarthy said he addresses the anthem and his expectation of proper decorum during it
with the players via a preseason presentation.
"It's something that I've done each and every year here since I've been the
head coach," McCarthy said.
"We have a PowerPoint presentation that you update (each year), and you always try
to deliver the message clearly to the team.
Every player should be required to take McCarthy's powerpoint lesson and be educated on why we
stand for the flag, despite our differences.
An ounce of knowledge could sure stop a lot of protests and fed up people like this shareholder
and the majority of Americans.
what do you think about this?

ASL vs Auslan | Deaf Awareness Month - Duration: 3:42.[Auslan] Hello, my name is Rogan, sign name [Rogan]. It's not the swear word! And welcome. How are you?
Today I wanted to talk about—oh you can't understand what I'm signing?
Make sure you have the CCs turned on.
Finished? [ASL] Good!
[ASL] The reason why I wanted you to turn on the captions is because today
I will be switching languages and showing you some differences.
I've had a lot of people say this:
[Auslan] It must be so nice to have one sign language all over the world.
Uh what? No, there's more than one.
Whaaaat?
Really? How does that even make sense? My reaction to that can be one of two responses.
….what makes you think that?
How many spoken languages are there?
Or if I feel like giving a little bit of attitude.
Really? I thought all people had one spoken language too?
I did a collab with Aly a while ago, I'll link that in the card and below.
But I signed some Auslan signs and she tried to guess what they were.
Today, I'll give you some more examples with side-by-side comparisons.
Talk
Age
Can/can't
Try
Why
What
Where
Which
How
Hope you enjoyed that! I want to add that even within the same language there are regional differences.
I plan to make a series of videos showing as many regional differences as I can find.
I already have quite a list.
If you know of any, leave them in the comments below and I'll let you know if I already have it listed or not!
But for now, I'll give a few quick examples.
In Auslan I know of one - water.
[demonstrates signs]
I know of so many in ASL, but an easy one is Halloween.
[demonstrates various signs]
I wouldn't be surprised if there were more different ones.
Another example: strawberry.
[demonstrates various signs]
Last one for now - early. Some actually sign it with spelling.
[demonstrates other signs]
I'm going to stop for now, I will give more in another video later on.
I also want to add and make it absolutely clear that while Canadians sign ASL,
they do have their own dialect and signs too.
So if you go to Canada, and you know ASL, you can communicate. But just don't expect to know every sign.
That's all for today! I hope you enjoyed it and learned something new.

LINDSAY FAY: The Emptiness of Hookup Culture - Duration: 2:12.My name is Lindsay Fay.
I'm from Huntington Beach, CA, and this is going to be my third year with The Culture Project.
I was born in Ohio, moved out to Huntington Beach in second grade with my family.
Really just had a desire, I think, from that early age to fit in and to be liked.
Towards the end of High School what that meant was going out to parties and drinking and,
like, the party culture.
And then when I went off to college, I was kind of still looking to fit in.
Looking to find community.
I think it was like my second weekend of college - I like rushed this sorority and joined, and
I just remember, like, making a lot of mistakes and really quickly seeing kind of the emptiness
of that lifestyle.
Seeing the emptiness of the hookup culture.
But I remember there was at one point in my sorority where I was in a meeting and I looked
around the room at all of these girls and I remember thinking, "I don't have one honest
friend in this room.
I just feel like I don't know any of these people.
And I feel like I'm not known myself."
And this was kinda the time that I was really seeing just really the emptiness of what was
around me on my college campus.
And I was like, "Well, I need to change this."
There was a girl that I met, and she was living out chastity in her relationship, and I just
remember wanting what she had.
And just seeing her and seeing her boyfriend and the way that they lived and the way that
they loved each other, and wanting that.
And I remember really wanting to make that decision.
To choose better for myself.
To not being used, but to really really being loved and being respected and valued.
And that lead me out of that hookup culture on my campus and into a community that really
loved me and saw me for who I was.
And that really lead me, in one way or another, to a lot of healing through the Theology of
the Body and learning about that.
And then meeting The Culture Project missionaries.
And then seeing this community of people who really loved each other and really accepted
each other and brought each other into this family.
And I think that was something that I was looking for all along.

5 Type Secrets of the INFJ Personality Type - Duration: 7:21.5 Type Secrets of the INFJ Personality Type
INFJ or stand for Introversion, iNtuition, Feeling, Judging, is the rarest of the 16
Myers-Briggs personality types, making up only 1-2 percent of the population.
People who identify as INFJs are deeply complex, highly sensitive individuals.
They ask the questions that others aren't asking, such as, "Why are we here?" and
"What is the meaning of this life we live?"
In relationships, INFJs can be warm and friendly.
They are generally well-liked by the people who are privileged to know them.
Yet at other times, they can be distant and analytical, retreating into themselves.
INFJs often grow up feeling profoundly different from other people.
They care deeply about others and like being a part of a community.
Yet because of their "big picture" perspective on life, they may always feel like an outsider
looking in.
Like a rose, INFJs have many layers.
They will probably not reveal all those layers to you right away.
However, the longer you are in an INFJ's life, and if an INFJ trusts you, the more
petals you will discover, all the while moving further inward toward the core of the INFJ's
true self.
Sometimes even INFJs don't fully understand themselves.
So let's take a look at some of the "secrets" of what it means to be an INFJ personality
type:
1.
INFJs feel profoundly misunderstood.
INFJs, do you feel like people rarely "get" you?
When you start to talk about something you care about, do you notice others failing to
grasp why it really matters?
If so, you're not alone.
Many INFJs feel deeply misunderstood.
The reason many people are not on the same wave-length as the INFJ is because the INFJ's
dominant function is Introverted Intuition.
(A personality type's "dominant function" is the primary way that person takes in and
processes information.
It's the main way a person interacts with the world.)
Ni subconsciously notices patterns; specifically, INFJs notice patterns related to human nature,
because their secondary function, Extroverted Feeling, orients them toward people.
Ni works mysteriously and subconsciously.
It allows the INFJ to know information without knowing why or how they know it.
Their "sixth sense" can be difficult to explain to other people, says personality
profiler Antonia Dodge, who co-owns Personality Hacker.
Often INFJs give up trying to explain their ability.
Or they don't try at all, because they know how unusual it sounds.
This leaves them feeling isolated and misunderstood.
2.
INFJs absorb other people's emotions.
INFJs, has this ever happened to you?
You're going through life, feeling fine.
But then, a close friend calls you.
She's really struggling with something, she and her boyfriend broke up, or her boss
insulted her.
The more you talk, the more you feel your own mood deflating.
When you get off the phone, you're rattled and preoccupied with anxious thoughts.
This situation happens frequently to INFJs, says Dodge, because they tend to take on other
people's emotions.
No other Myers-Briggs personality type has this unique ability.
Some INFJs even report absorbing the emotions of strangers.
An INFJ may suddenly feel grumpy, only to look around the room and discover a grumpy-looking
person has just walked in.
The closer the person is emotionally to the INFJ, like a spouse or best friend, the more
likely it is that the INFJ will absorb that person's mental state.
To feel not only your own strong emotions, but those of other people, too, can be overwhelming.
But the INFJ's ability can also be used to bring emotional healing and comfort to
others.
"The ability to unconsciously absorb other people's emotions with very little information
to go on, how is that not a super power?" says Dodge.
"INFJs have the ability to get inside the suffering of others and tell them it's going
to be okay."
3.
INFJs have amazing long-range forecasting abilities.
Sometimes INFJs may feel like prophets or fortune-tellers.
That's because Ni helps them see the big picture, notice patterns, and make predictions
for the future based on the patterns they've observed.
For example, let's say an INFJ meets a new love interest.
Right away, possibly within minutes, they start predicting where the relationship could
go.
Could they see themselves marrying this person or would it just be a fling?
If they don't think the relationship will bring the desired outcome, "they may immediately
cut themselves off from that relationship," explains Joel Mark Witt, co-owner of Personality
Hacker.
However, INFJs are not actually psychic.
They see what could be, not necessarily what will happen with absolute certainty.
But mature INFJs have honed their forecasting abilities well.
4.
Though they are Feelers, INFJs can easily access their Thinking ability.
INFJs often mistype as INTJs, the "Thinking" twin of the INFJ.
Although INFJs are indeed people-oriented, due to their third function, Introverted Thinking,
they are also analytical and scientific.
They may enjoy careers in technology, the sciences, and research.
Because Fe is second in their functional stack and Ti is third, these two functions are fairly
balanced in the INFJ.
Indeed, INFJs don't outwardly appear as emotional as an ENFJ or ESFJ, whose Feeling
function is their dominant function.
An INFJ might lament that they are "too emotional for the Thinkers but too logical
for the Feelers."
But this common sense comes in handy, making INFJs generally balanced and well-rounded.
5.
One of their greatest strengths is their ability to create intimacy.
In the presence of casual acquaintances, INFJs might come across as quiet and reserved.
Remember, they usually don't open up to people right away.
But INFJs are actually extremely relational.
Because they can feel other people's pain and joy, they are able to truly walk in another
person's shoes like no other personality type can.
This ability to empathize creates strong bonds of intimacy, says Dodge.
All in all, that's the five type secrets of the INFJ personality type.
Really cool information isn't it.
