Hello everyone! Alex from VaperMD is with you

And i'm glad to welcome you on my channel

And today our guest is mechanical mod from Rostov named QuazaR

You look at it and think - tube as it is with some notches

But this mod have some distinctive features

First - another tube for 1*18650 to make a stack of 2*18650 in series connection. To burn the hell out of coils

Another version of this mechanical mod with a sleeve made out of stabilized wood with hybrid RDA

All of this is made in Russia. Out of Russian materials. By the Russian hands, as it says

It's very interesting, non-standard and pretty much distinct from all others

Let's dive down right now and look at the button with double collet. Let's roll

As it says - grandma do her best. We have 3 very cool bags in here on the table. And inside of them we have mech mods and spares

Also guys sent me their e-liquid. It's a peach and chocolate if I'm not mistaken. But aside the tasty liquid inside we also have pretty nice bottles

Many of you might remember EZ Dripper. It's a plastic doser of e-liquid which you simply put on the top cap of your RDA, click-click and liquid is dripping from the tip. Very convenient and nice in use bottles

Also guys have sent me special paste for polishing. Honestly - I didn't use it yet. And frankly i never used a liquid polish, usually i use Doctor WAX. Well, i don't know how this liquid polishing paste will behave, we'll see later

But the most interesting things is inside of these knitted bags. Let's begin gradually

Let's start with center one. In here hides the mechanical mod itself and on the bottom we have the User Manual. I have one opened, so i will not pull another one out

Let's shake out this bag. It have stack tube

Now let me extract everything from this bag. Inside we another mechanical mod with pre-installed RDA which guys also manufacturing

Also we have this special ring. If you decide yo use this mech mod with your favorite RDA you gonna need this ring, i will show you how it works later

Also we have a bag of spares for this RDA. It includes allen key and few spare screws

Okay friends, it's time to talk about specs of this mod

This mod is made out of brass and at the moment it's available only in brass color with no painting or coating option

But one of the version of this mechanical mod have an option to use sleeves which is made of stabilized wood

This mech have interesting engineering which helped the manufacturing company to implement the connection with RDA without standard 510 connector

But it have classical connection option for third-party RDAs as well

In classic version this mod is powered by 1*18650, but the manufacturing company also made the additional tube for using this mod with more batteries in stack mode

The button is made out of brass and have constant connection due to double collet system inside the button itself

Besides, this mech mod is auto-adjusting to the battery height and atomizer pin length in the moment you screw down the button. Also this mod have vent holes

The RDA is featuring a slot for 810 drip tips, non-adjustable side airflow and classic 4-holes posts design. The juice well is 6mm deep

Interesting fact - the manufacturing company is using fluoroplastic as insulator, to be more exact - it's teflon

I want to remind you that melting point of teflon is 327 degrees Celsius

Okay. That was technical specs, let's give it a detailed look

Let's start with classic version. To be more exact we will start as always from the top and in order

In here we have a hybrid 510 connector. Main diameter of this mechanical mod is 25mm, but this connector have a bevel for fitting 24mm atomizers

So 24mm RDAs is fitting on this mech mod just perfectly and sits great

Lower on the tube we have cutouts - these are kind of stripes for convenient grip and on the bottom we have a button itself

The button unscrews counter clockwise

In the kit we have a spare spring with harder press

Regarding the threads - I have zero complaints about the threads - everything screws buttery smooth and threading itself have no gaps or play

But if we look inside the mod, we will see that manufacturer completely refused from implementing blank fire protection aka fool-proof protection. But over there see just a small bevel

We will talk about this thing a little bit later - when we will read User Manual

And now let's talk about the button itself. It have QuazaR engraving on the side and logo on the button

Next we have a threads and 6 vent holes in a circle

And here we have another engraving. It's seems to be serial number

Inside we can see a white teflon insulator and main non-fixed contact

Pay attention - bottom part of the button is recessed, so it won't fire while it stands on the table

Button could be disassembled like so - simply unscrew the bottom cap counter clockwise

After you've done unscrewing you get access to the insides - the collet system and the spring. You can swap the spring with the spare one to get harder press

And now in order - central contact is cone shaped and could be removed this way - push it and it pops out

Quality of manufacturing of this contact is nice - no barbs no nothing, machining is good

You can pop out this teflon insulation by simply pushing it out

This is how the collets system looks and i think you noticed it is double collets

Inner collets is also cone shaped and connects with central contact and outer collets make a connection with the tube

Inner contact is look like so - inner collets make a connection with central contact

Outer collets make a connection with inner part of the button housing, friends. It's simple, but made with taste and quality

So that's how it works, friends. It's simple, but made with taste and qualitily

Now let's figure out how additional parts works

For a start let's assemble everything back. Central contact, the spring, bottom part and fixate all of it with a cap

The additional stack tube for 1*18650 looks like so - it have same design as mechanical mod does. To launch it just screw this tube into mechanical mod. By the way this stack tube also have 6 vent holes

Screw it down to the end, after this screw the button

And as result we have stack mechanical mod that is powered by 2*18650 in series connection

You should be very careful, since it's around 8.4V of power will be going through your coils, so standard fused claptons simply wouldn't fit

Now you can use either 2*18650 or purchase another additional stack tubes and use 3, 4 batteries and so on, but I strongly recommend not to do this

Let's continue overview of the mech mods and next we have the version with the sleeve that is made out of stabilized wood

You can screw down standard button in this version as well and this version is powered by 1*18650

Obviously you can screw down additional stack tube and get 2*18650 so in the end you will get this nice stack version with a stabilized wood sleeve

One of important moments - every stabilized wood sleeve adapts for metal part of mech mod, as you understand tolerances may vary, so a sleeve from another but same mech mod could slightly don't fit

So yeah, this kind of nuances is possible, though let's move on

And we start from the top, where we have the RDA, which guys has invented and manufactured themselves for their mechanical mod

This RDA don't have standard 510 connection, it have hybrid connection, so it's screws down directly on the tube. By unscrewing this RDA you unscrew it from outer threading, because inside we have an insulator and pin, which is also a positive contact

In here we don't have any adjustable or BF pin

After you unscrewed this hybrid RDA you will get access to a standard 510 connector with a threading, you can screw your RDA in it

The sleeve takes off like so.

In case if you want to use mechanical mod with stabilized wood sleeve with your RDA you gonna need this ring, it comes in kit, it screws on top and fixate the sleeve

After this we are getting access to fit RDAs with 510 connection. So eventually you can get a mech mod with standard 510 connection, standard button and stabilized wood sleeve

Let's continue. Last thing we are going to look at is this kit RDA and we start from the top, where we have a non-o-ring 810 drip tip

You are able to install your own 810 drip tips in here, but be prepared for the fact, that your drip tip might not fit by diameter, since manufacturer limited us by this platform, that has it's own diameter. It's important and you should know that

Let's move forward. The top cap of the RDA is also made out of brass, and as all other brass you will have to polish it after it gets patina

On the top cap we have 2 airflow slots, and you might thought it's adjustable but it's not due to engineering

The top cap is holds on 2 o-rings and have cone shaped machining inside

And here it is - the deck of RDA, with coils which was preinstalled for me by manufacturer in advance

I don't know how this build called, but it's flat and cool

Regarding the deck. In here is implemented classic coil installation solution, two negative posts is milled into the deck and positive post is removable

Coil leads is fixating with allen screws, there's 4 extra spare screws in the kit

As i previously said - juice well is 6m deep

Honestly - i don't want to remove the coils - it's installed just fine and i'm satisfied with them, but i'm forced to show you how the positive post is working

The positive post in this RDA can be easily removed - you have to press on it and remove it from the bottom of the deck

As you can see i didn't damaged the coils and i think you noticed that posts have fairly wide distance between them, so after you install the coils you will have to shift them to the center

Also pay attention how the airflow is made - it's angled, so the air will go slightly below the coils

Well, guys from Par Vape Club decided to make the airflow that way

I think it's nothing more to tell you about, so it's left to put the cotton and fill the liquid

Okay friends, let's assemble it. One of important moments of launching this mechanical mod is the sequence

By the way this is also written in User Manual. For a start we should screw down the RDA

Next - since we have vent holes on the bottom, we will insert the battery positive side down

After we inserted the battery, screw down the button. This sequence is important - don't forget that we don't have fool-proof protection feature inside. So by screwing the RDA first you will protect yourself from blank fire - the connection between battery and the body of the mod

Screw the button until it stops in the battery, tighten a little and in this moment auto-adjustment to the battery height and atomizer pin length has happened

Press the button and we get the vapor. It means that mechanical mod is ready to work

Okay friends, i will put the cotton and fill the liquid backstage and we will vape all of it in face-time

Let's roll

Okay, let's test this. First - the performance. I have a Phobia with dual coils. Press the button and it perfooooorms~

And it performs great, i don't have any questions to performance. It performs like a champ

This is a single 18650 and resistance is 0.1ohm, let's roll

It's hot and it's great. I really like the performance of this mechanical mod

Unfortunately, i don't have any high-volt builds, though i will risk, and i don't recommend you to do this

Right now the resistance is 0.1ohm and we gonna vape it on high-volt. I DON'T recommend to do this. There is builds specially for high-volt

Insert the batteries, screw down the button. God help me

Don't do this. It's very hot

The most important in this test that this is working

It's better to put correct build for high-volt

And last thing we are going to test is mechanical mod with hybrid RDA

I putted the cotton, saturated it and now I will adjust the airflow

Press the button and it performs like a beast, but

I don't know what the resistance is, since i simply can't measure it

It feels like 0.06-0.07ohm, not higher for sure, since it performs like a beast

Look what's going on

It just fries...It fries like hell

One more time

It's 0.06ohm for sure, maybe even 0.05

Tests, tests. We're done with the tests and everything is great - as you saw the performance is beautiful. Anyway, this mechanical mod have cons and now we are going to talk about them

First con to this mechanical mod i'll give for User Manual which is very incorrect and very subjective is some paragraphs

Right now we are going to read and discuss

First paragraph - it's really important and correct - Make sure that the pin of atomizer is protruding long enough. Very good

Install the atomizer. And by black font - QuazaR don't have fool-proof protection feature, so if you press the button with no atomizer attached it will lead to short circuit and cause battery malfunction

Yes, the fact, that manufacturer warns us how to correctly use the device is good. As it says - if you are informed - you are armed. Anyway, let's move on

I don't have any problems with that paragraph

Unscrew the top part and insert the battery. Okay.

Next is the paragraph that confused me - Polarity isn't matter, but we recommend to insert battery positive side UP. In mechanical mod with no fool-proof protection feature

It's prohibited to use batteries with damaged wrap, since it can cause auto-fire if battery is installed positive side UP or short circuit if its positive side DOWN

Assemble the device, when screwing the cup don't put much force to not damage the battery. It's good and it's correct

Let's skip some moments where everything is nice and correct

4th paragraph. You should put force when pressing the button. The more the pressure the better the conductivity of the device. It's impossible to damage the device with excessive pressing force.

The Button, marked with bald black font, works not by offset so it should be pressed directly in center

Okay, we will be pressing in center

5th paragraph. In the process of exploitation threadings and pin of the device will be contaminated, so once a week it's necessary to clean them with paper towel or a cloth moistened with table vinegar and dry out

I will say so - when i received this mod and unscrewed the button i saw many black dots, they were round like something was dried inside, like if it simply hasn't been wiped off and dry out.

It was very unpleasant moment, so please wipe your devices and leave no drops

I don't know how table vinegar works, but better wipe it until it's completely dry. It will save the appearance of the device

You should perform the cleaning of the button not more than once a month. It's good, due to collets contacts are self-cleaning

And here's another aspect that i want to draw your attention to - I'm disagree with that - You can't use eraser and other abrasives

Eraser is not hard abrasive. Eraser never was or be able to damage the metal. Honestly - everyone use eraser to clean contacts and nothing bad happens. I don't know how much you should work with eraser to change the tolerances

Not recommending to use the eraser is weird moment

Here guys wrote - To not violate geometry of surface

Okay, but why forbid eraser. Eraser wouldn't cause any problems

Okay, that was regarding the manual. Yes, i completely disagree with some moments and I recommend to guys to rethink their approach to creating User Manual and tips in it

Though i guess the manufacturer knows his own device better and they know how to write a manual for it, okay

But let's get back to the discussion regarding the fool-proof protection feature - is it necessary or not. The manufacturer have categorical attitude to this point - their position - it's completely unnecessary

Their argument - at the moment when that cutout is made, the size of the threading is decreasing, and due to some atomizers have short 510 connection, over time this thread could disrupt and start spinning

Honestly - there's whole lot of mechanical mods with fool-proof protection(blank fire protection) feature which is went through my hands

I've used many of them as my main devices for a long period of time and i never had any thread disruption nor atomizer spinning over

My opinion to this issue regarding fool-proof protection feature - It. Must. Be. On every mechanical mods. It might be implemented in different ways, not necessarily with a cutout

You can install there thin insulator, tiny thin insulator that could be made from the same teflon that you are using in your own mechanical mod

Then your end-user will be completely safe even if he will press the button with no atomizer attached

This tiny thin insulator was be more than enough

Par Vape Club, please rethink your attitude to a fool-proof protection feature aka blank fire protection

That was my complaints to the mechanical mod, to be more exact to the User Manual i guess. I have one one claim to the mechanical mod - lack of fool-proof protection feature and let's stop at this

For me it's a big MAJOR con in this mechanical mod. Let's move on

Let's talk regarding the RDA

First con of this RDA, it might be bigger of nitpick, than a con - not all of 810 drip tips is fitting well because we are limited with that platform

Some drip tips will be simply overhang, that is my nitpick

Next goes cons. First con - i can't check my resistance on this RDA - so when i install the coils i have no clue what's going on inside

So i can't glow it on regulated box mod and check it on micro-shorts or short circuit

In this situation you should be 100% sure in your actions. This device is strictly not for beginners, this device is for advanced and professional users ONLY

Next moment regarding this RDA - it is made completely out of brass. Top cap, deck, posts - all of it brass. We all know that brass is covering with patina - it is oxide

So it means you will have to polish all of it from these oxides - and i can say polishing the RDAs is not a pleasure you want to experience

I'm not sure what to do in this situation - guys completely match this RDA to their mechanical mod, to the color of mechanical mod. But anyway you should know that this RDA will cover with patina and you will have to polish and clean it from oxides

Moving forward. Airflow is non-adjustable. It's like saying - I could be here, but i'm not. Though it's due to engineering

And last con of this RDA is wide space between the posts. It's not gonna be comfortable to install the coils. So that was regarding the RDA

I'm gonna say straight - i didn't like this RDA. I didn't like at all

It's great, it's cool, it have nice manufacturing quality, but on the other hand there is a lot of confusion and inconvenience that is associated with the usage of this RDA

I think guys should think about making some tool for this RDA so it will be possible to screw it on regulated box mod, glow the coils and check if there's short circuit

Okay folks, we're done with negativity and confusions. Now it's time to talk about pros

First pro to this kit i will give for interesting implementation of a non-standard idea. Guys made it, i really like the button of this mechanical mod and how its made

And i can say - i didn't saw analogs on Russian market

Next pro i will give for a great quality of manufacturing. Everything is made good, all the tolerances and threadings are great. So a pro for a quality

Another pro I will give for a huge versatility - do you want just a mechanical mod? There you go.

Do you want stack mod? You are welcome

Do you want a beautiful mechanical mod with a stab wood? You are welcome again, they have it all

Very cool and very versatile. And it's good

Next pro I will give to this mechanical mod for convenience of use. There's fast adjustment for battery height, there is convenient battery extraction

Soft and nice button. Also in spares there is another spring so you can adjust your button press

Next pro I will definitely give for a constant contact and for its implementation. Your batteries is completely safe. And it's good

Let's continue and talk about RDA. It also have pros, even though i didn't like it

First pro to this RDA i will give for direct contact with the battery. It's as direct as it can possibly be.

Okay folks, now it's time to talk about price. I will be reading since there's a lot of things i need to say

First - brass mechanical mod - i guess it's this one - 4000 rubles(70$)

Mech with a sleeve - 5000 rubles(87$)

Third - a mech with RDA - 7500 rubles(131$)

And this additional stack tube is 2000 rubles(35$)

I will say. 4000 rubles for a mechanical mod with interesting contact group is a big Like.

It's a great price for a mechanical mod with the unique contact group

I will repeat - I like the quality, I like the contact group, I like the performance of this mechanical mod, I like its appearance and convenience of use

All of these factors affect my positive reaction on this mechanical mod and final decision on purchasing

But again, guys manufacturers, rethink your attitude to a blank fire protection feature. This will only be better for you

Overall, i can recommend this mechanical mod but only if you will precisely follow the User Manual. First screw the RDA, then insert the battery positive side down

In this case nothing is gonna happen with you or your battery

As we just reported, Kim Jong-un says he understands the joint military exercises between South

Korea and the U.S. must continue.

But according to unification minister Cho Myoung-gyon , it's possible to adjust the

future military drills, if inter-Korean relations continue to improve.

Speaking to local media on Friday, the minister noted past joint exercises that were postponed

or even canceled in 1992 and 1994 due to similar reasons.

He did not clarify whether the upcoming Key Resolve and Foal Eagle exercises, scheduled

Charlie and the guys don't need any advice from me that have it well covered.
