Waching daily Mar 11 2018

Hello everyone.

Today I'm going to present you the basic point on rectangular knitters.

For the realization,

you will need the following material.

1 rectangular knit 56 centimeters 62 picks

1 rectangular knit 45 centimeters 50 picks

1 rectangular knit 35 centimeters 38 picks

1 rectangular knit 24 centimeters 26 picks

1 meter tape

1 pair of scissors

1 hook

1 needle with wool

1 piece of straw

Wool for needles of size 7-8 millimeters

To show you the basic point,

I'm going to use a rectangular knit

with a length of 24 centimeters to 26 spikes.

To help you in handling the wire,

you can use a piece of straw.

Make a sliding knot

and attach it to the anchoring spike.

Fit 2 rows of stitches,

making a cross between the picks.

Return to the starting point,

using the hook

pass the stitch of the bottom over the other stitch and the pick.

Repeat for the entire row.

Reassemble a row of stitches

with the method of crossing between the picks.

Continue on this way

until you have reached the desired height for your work.

Remove the anchor point.

For closure,

Move the mesh of the first pick on the opposite pick.

Pass the bottom mesh

inside the other stitch and over the spike.

Move the remaining mesh on the diagonal pick.

Pass the mesh from below over the other stitch and the spike.

Repeat the process to the end.

Cut the thread.

On the last stitch,

tie a knot with the woolen needle.

It's over for today with rectangular knitters.

I remind you that you can ask me

the tutorial in PDF

by mail to the address below the video.

If you want to get the PDF tutorial in another language,

it's also possible.

In the next episode,

I'll show you one last knit shape

before starting on the basic needle points.

See you soon.

Come, Enjoy the Lilies - Duration: 11:03.

Come, Enjoy the Lilies March 11, 2018

Sweet Jesus, how can I ever thank you for Your Kindness and Mercy?

Thank you, Lord.

Well, sweet Heartdwellers, when I came into prayer, I saw the Lord holding a scroll in

His left hand and a match in His right.

And He was lighting it on fire and burning it.

I thought, 'Uh, oh...'

But He gave me to understand that it had to do with flowers.

You see, every year I get this temptation in the springtime—and tonight I gave in.

So, I came very guilty coming before the altar.

Wanting to pray, but knowing I had really blown it and secretly hoping He will make

an exception and let me keep them.

You see, I ordered a few seeds and a couple of very tiny plants on Amazon—and knew that

if He didn't give me mercy, I would cancel the order this very night.

Funny though, I really didn't expect His response.

So I asked, "What is it you are burning, Lord?"

(Knowing full well I had been foolish…

)

Jesus answered me, "Your list of things you feel guilty about.

I am so tired of your guilt, Clare.

"There is My permissible will and My perfect will.

May I say, you are sometimes much too weak to live in My perfect will?

And this night I have given you My Mercy.

For you have served Me faithfully and through many trials—and these flowers are My gift

to you.

That is why I told you to go back and get the lilies; I knew you gave them up for Me,

but now I am giving them to you as a gift."

And He's talking about the seeds for Rain Lilies.

They're really pretty, pink lilies.

He continued, "There are times in the life of a soul where a mercy cries out…

As the saying goes, 'you can bend a bow until you break it.'"

That's a monastic saying.

"Many of My saints had gardens they tended; many also had dungeons, where their only consolation

was My presence.

For each, I designate what is right for them in their particular season of life.

Some row the boat; others sit beside them and eat honey cakes, enjoying the ride.

Each has a time and a purpose.

"The flowers are My gift to you, Beloved; the parchment was what you felt guilt over.

"Now I ask you to tuck back into your very simple life of prayer and worship and feeding

My sheep, knowing that I love you dearly, Clare.

Though you have denied yourself, year after year after year, these very simple pleasures—THIS

year I want you to have them and enjoy them with Me.

With no guilt hanging over your head."

I don't know what to say, Lord!

Other than to cry little tears of thanksgiving for Your precious Mercy.

"I want you to plant them knowing this is a springtime of your life.

This is the time to step into your longings to please Me, for I am with you and no one

will stop Me from granting you these blessings.

No one will block them.

And no one will steal them from you.

"But do pray for your enemies; they have done nothing but curse you and all you stand for.

Yet I am about to disarm them—and how pitiful they will be, pitiful enough to need your

prayers.

So, I enjoin you to petition My Father for their salvation.

How I long to show them mercy!"

You know, guys?

He's been talking to us A LOT about prayer for our enemies.

And even the people who've been tormenting little children and trafficking them.

The Lord wants to save their soul.

The children that they are trafficking are getting saved, but there's no hope for them

without our prayers.

I'll into that more on another message.

I answered Jesus, "Yes, Lord.

I will pray.

I count on you to remind me though, please?"

"This I will do.

"You have fought long and hard.

Not that the future is easy, but let's just say there will not be the same impediments

you have encountered in the past two years.

"And all of you, My faithful Heartdwellers and intercessors.

The battles on this Earth are long and hard.

There are times I wish to set you aside for recovery, and being able to move forward without

having to fatigue yourself in battles all day long."

Wow!

That's a good description of the way my life has been going for this last year.

Battles all the day long.

Jesus continued, "I also want you to understand that there are times set apart when what was

not allowed before is permitted for a season.

I am hardening you all off to your own wills, and as you learn to discipline yourselves

and focus more on My heart and My business, I can trust you with a few things that would

ordinarily lead you in the wrong direction.

"But there is always caution to be had here, because self-indulgence encourages more self-indulgence.

For instance, you know 'the eye is never satisfied for looking, nor is the ear satisfied

with hearing.'"

And that reminded me of a quote - not only from Ecclesiastes but from The Imitation of

Christ.

Which says, "Be oft-times mindful of the saying, 'The eye is not satisfied with seeing, nor

the ear with hearing.'

Strive, therefore, to turn away thy heart from the love of the things that are seen,

and to set it upon the things that are not seen.

For they who follow after their own fleshly lusts, defile their conscience, (boy, I can

relate to that one...) and destroy the grace of God.

"All things are wearisome; Man is not able to tell it.

The eye is not satisfied with seeing, Nor is the ear filled with hearing."

Ecclesiastes 1:8

Jesus continued, "And this is how Laodecia, the prosperous town, fell into apostasy and

lukewarmness.

This is why I have told you the greatest challenges will come with prosperity, because man tends

to be enamored of all that is transitory, a chasing after the wind.

He is well-armed at war; but the real danger comes in peace.

"My dear ones, it is not My heart to deprive you.

You are in a war for your souls and the souls of your children.

And for this reason, you must build with one hand and hold the sword with the other.

You must be vigilant, because your enemy is forever trying to slowly, imperceptibly guide

your affections towards the things that will weaken your ability to live an upright life.

"When the war is over and you are with Me in Heaven, you will see just how much I love

you, just how much I longed to give you the choicest gifts on Earth—but did not, because

I knew they would cause you to wander off and let your guard down, while the enemy stealthily

sought to bring you to ruin.

He works in little increments, things that you don't notice.

One day you need this, another day you need that, the next day you need more and more

and more… until your life is entirely taken up in vanities and you are not any longer

serving Me Nor are you keen on serving Me.

Rather, you want to enjoy your toys.

"No soldier gets involved in civilian affairs.

If he does, he can no longer protect his charge.

And it is quite the same with you.

The more deeply entrenched in civilian affairs you become, the less you are able to be alert

and on guard.

And the more likely you are to fall away, indulging yourself in the vanities of the

world—while the enemy is busy ensnaring your family and those you love, as well as

abandoning the poor of this Earth I have created to elicit love and charity from your hearts.

The poor are truly My gift to you, that you can become more like My Father in Heaven.

"Ah yes!

When you come to Heaven and see the place I have prepared for you, it will be beyond

your wildest dreams—suiting you in ways that you never dreamt possible.

This is because you are safe from the enemy.

You are protected.

And those beautiful things of creation I truly made for your enjoyment will surround you

in ways you never thought possible.

"Yes, I repeat Myself.

I say it again and again and again: Eye has not seen, ear has not heard and neither has

it entered into the heart of man what I have prepared for you who love Me.

"So, you see?

I am not the cruel taskmaster Satan would like to make Me out to be.

No, I am the vigilant Father, knowing the dangers that lie behind each thing you are

drawn to.

And as a good Father, I train you to keep you away from these dangers.

"So, My Love—to bring it back home to you and your love affair with flowers.

Flowers I have created to bring you joy.

Understand it is for your health that I hold you back from these things.

"And yet, there is a season to enjoy them.

Just remember to be on guard, lest the enemy draw you away with even more beauty.

"For you know well, Clare, all the beauty your heart shall ever desire is in My arms,

looking into My eyes and hearing the words that 'I am pleased with you'.

These are the things the enemy cannot take from you, My Love.

This relationship stands forever, blooms forever, gives off fragrance forever And fruit, forever.

"So, come tenderly into My arms, Clare, and enjoy the lilies."

Ancient Civilization Used Sound Energy to Levitate and Contact Aliens

by Patrick Knox

Archaeological findings suggest previous civilisations used circular structures as

energy-generating devices to create man-made portals in time.

Two years of research suggests that human beings from thousands of years ago produced

natural sound harmonic frequencies produced from the surface of the Earth at frequencies

of more than 380 gigahertz much greater than any levels used today.

In the UFOmania YouTube channel video clip (below), the narrator explains that the

Sumerian civilization (Iraq) may have inhabited parts of southern Africa thousands of years

ago.

The technology the Sumers used in 3,000BC is similar to the way we use laser technology

today.

The discovery has left many confused as to what this previous society could possibly

have done with the high-frequency sound energy they created.

One YouTube comment reads: Sound was used as energy to levitate objects in order to

create the monuments that opened vortices which allowed spacecraft to come and go.

Another added: many ancient rock carvings showed a spiral, which could be some kind

of sound wave.

This is something they can only draw and couldnt put into words.

[Editors Note] As to the notion of a bizarre new claim, Michael Tellinger

has been talking about these circular structures in southern Africa, such as Adams Calendar,

for years.

Also see a recent article in the ExoNews about recent developments in levitation technology.

Archaeological findings suggest previous civilizations used circular structures as energy-generating

devices to create man-made portals in time, according to boffins online.

The research which extended over a two-year period suggested that human beings from

thousands of years ago produced natural sound harmonic frequencies produced from the surface

of the Earth.

In the video clip, the narrator explains that the Sumerian civilisation may have inhabited

parts of southern Africa thousands of years ago.

The Sumers are one of the earliest civilisations known to walk the Earth.

They are said to date back to 3,000BC.

The technology they apparently used is said to be similar to the way we use laser technology

today.

Some of the frequencies recorded are believed to reach more than 380 gigahertz much

greater than any levels used today.

The discovery has left many confused as to what this previous society could possibly

have done with the energy they created and whether they could have possibly known more

about our planet than we do today.

The Untold Truth Of American Guns - Duration: 5:29.

Far more than just a TV show, American Guns was a window into a way of life for Rich Wyatt

and family.

For two short seasons on the Discovery Channel, the series celebrated both firearms and family.

The series moved into a second season with a growing fanbase, but then the show was canceled.

So, why did it disappear from the small screen, and what happened after the cameras stopped

rolling?

Here's what you might not know about American Guns.

Starting the show

For two seasons and 26 episodes, American Guns was shot on location at Gunsmoke Guns,

a real store in the Denver, Colorado, suburb of Wheat Ridge.

The shop was the family business of Rich Wyatt, who operated the store with his wife, Renee,

and their two children, Paige and Kurt.

The Discovery Channel had been looking to produce shows that were steeped in Second

Amendment culture and debuted both American Guns and sister series Sons of Guns ten months

apart in 2011.

As the show became more popular, so did its host, Rich Wyatt, a trained gunsmith who learned

the trade while working for a number of manufacturers.

Wyatt also touted a 22-year-long law enforcement career.

Once American Guns was on the air, Wyatt used his platform to expand his influence in the

firearms industry, teaming up with Smith & Wesson to sell a Gunsmoke-branded .38 special that

he designed called the Wyatt Deep Cover.

Soon enough, though he and the show started experiencing some real recoil.

Weathering the backfires

After returning with a 50% increase in viewership over the previous year's premiere, the cast

and crew of American Guns had every reason to believe they'd be on the air for years

to come.

The show's fortunes would soon change with a shift in the political winds.

The second season was book-ended by two mass shootings, one of which took place near the

store in the neighboring town of Aurora on the night of July 20th, 2012.

While the gunman had not bought any of his weaponry from Gunsmoke Guns, Renee Wyatt still

committed a massive public relations blunder when she offered a her thoughts on the shooting

to Radar Online, saying that if the victims had been armed, the shooter would've been

neutralized right away.

"Kinda different when you run with Renee Wyatt."

The Discovery Channel promptly distanced itself from Wyatt, and shortly after the Sandy Hook

elementary school shooting that December, Discovery Channel announced that the series

had been canceled.

Many took the cancellation as a direct response to the shootings, but the network maintained

it had already decided to can the show earlier in the year.

And as further evidence that American Guns' cancellation wasn't as politically motivated

as many believed, Sons of Guns continued to air on the same network for several years.

A break-in

Just two months after the show had officially been canceled, thieves broke into the Gunsmoke

Guns building by busting a hole through the roof, stealing over a dozen guns before disappearing.

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms arrived in Wheat Ridge to assist with the

investigation, but no one was arrested for the theft.

But that was hardly the last of the Wyatts' troubles, and the next visit they received

from the federal government was even worse news for them.

Uncle Sam strikes

In March 2013, the IRS served a search warrant at Gunsmoke Guns, seeking several years' worth

of financial records for Rich, Renee, and the business itself.

"Guys, it's bill time again."

The IRS had begun looking into Gunsmoke after a tip from ATF agents, who had reason to believe

Wyatt unlawfully possessed a number of firearms.

In looking into his financial records, investigators discovered that Wyatt had failed to submit

individual tax returns for 2008, 2009, and 2010.

The paperwork he did submit had lies in it—like one 2011 form that declined to mention Wyatt

was then being paid by the Discovery Channel to be a TV star.

Wages were found to be under-reported, and the business had never filed federal income

tax returns.

"This is not a good position to negotiate in."

During these troubles, the shop remained open, even as the IRS pored over Wyatt's personal

and corporate financial records, finding enough evidence to prove a clear pattern of ongoing

fraud.

These tax issues were only the beginning of Wyatt's nightmare, too.

A conspiracy of dunces

When investigators were going through Wyatt's paper trail, they discovered something shocking

about Wyatt's federal firearms license—it didn't exist.

In fact, Wyatt had surrendered it in 2012, while American Guns was still in production.

Instead, he decided to falsify his credentials with the help of a neighboring gun store.

On three separate occasions, undercover agents with the ATF purchased a total of four guns

from Wyatt.

Every sale was illegal due to Wyatt's lack of a proper license.

Before long, the agency built a case against the storeowner and proceeded to raid Gunsmoke

in 2015.

The ATF seized Gunsmoke's supply of ammunition and 583 guns, and the store was immediately

closed for business.

The money monster

It took nearly a year for all of the federal investigations against Wyatt to conclude in

a grand jury indictment returned in February 2016, and Wyatt surrendered two days later.

The one-time TV star faced charges of conspiracy, dealing in firearms without a license, filing

a false tax return, failing to file a tax return, and failing to report more than $1.1

million of income.

After entering a plea of not guilty, he was released on an unsecured bond of $25,000 and

taken to a halfway house to await trial.

Wyatt was ultimately convicted of ten felony counts, including conspiracy, dealing firearms

without a license, tax evasion, and fraud.

Rich Wyatt is currently in federal custody and faces up to 15 years in prison.

7 of the Strangest Allergies - Duration: 10:37.

[♪ INTRO ]

When you think of allergies, the first thing that comes to mind is probably seasonal allergies,

like a sneezing fit over some pollen, or a food allergy that's closed up somebody's

throat.

But they're more than just pollen and peanuts.

Allergies can happen in response to a lot of things, because they're basically the

result of your body overreacting to something.

Your immune system thinks it's dangerous, even though it really isn't.

And in the end, the inappropriate response becomes the problem.

We're used to certain allergies because we see people who are allergic to the same

ten foods, or the same plants and animals, all the time.

It's possible that these allergies are more common because they look kind of similar to

each other, at least at the molecular level … and they also look kind of similar to

certain proteins on parasitic worms.

So, some researchers think these overreactions are really just a side effect of the immune

system trying to protect itself against a certain type of invader.

But there are also a handful of weird allergies that make even less sense, because in a few

cases, it's hard to say what the offending protein might be.

And some of those can be much harder to avoid than even a peanut butter sandwich … like

water, or your own hormones.

So here are 7 of the strangest allergies out there.

First up, an allergy that lets you write on your skin.

People with dermographism are allergic to touch, and if they want, they can sign their

name on their arm, or write out the name of their condition on their back.

You know, like people do.

What's actually going on here is an exaggerated version of a normal response skin has to touch.

For most people, if you say, drag a capped ballpoint pen across your arm, you'll create

a line that gets red and swells a bit.

In about 2-5% of people, this is more extreme, so it looks like a full-blown hive.

In that sense, demographism isn't all that rare.

What's less common is the more extreme version.

In some people the skin itches, and in some cases it takes hardly any pressure at all,

like just that from a T-shirt.

For some reason physical touch causes a type of immune cell in their skin, known as a mast

cell, to release histamine.

Histamine is a chemical that, among other things, makes blood vessels open up a little

bit . This lets fluid out, and you get that raised welt, or what doctors call urticaria.

Urticaria is a common allergic reaction, but usually, we have some sense of why it happens,

because histamine release from mast cells depends on antibodies.

A bunch of antibodies stick to mast cells, and if they see something they recognize,

like tree pollen, or dust mites, that triggers the mast cell to unleash histamine.

But in the case of dermographism, and several of the other so-called physical urticarias

that we'll talk about next, scientists aren't sure what's happening because there's

no obvious thing the antibodies would recognize.

That's part of the mystery.

Unless there's a genetic cause, most of these urticarias develop in young adulthood,

but could start in childhood or even late in life.

The good news is that because histamine is driving a lot of the allergic reaction, allergy

meds called antihistamines, which prevent histamine from binding to their receptors

and taking effect, can usually help.

Another unusual physical allergy is vibration, or vibratory urticaria.

If someone with this condition does something repetitive, like running or even just clapping

their hands, they can break out in hives within minutes.

This can happen multiple times a day in some people, and they can have other symptoms,

like swelling in their face.

Something about vibration is able to set off mast cells.

In this case, we actually know a bit more than with dermographism, because some cases

of the condition are genetic.

People with a genetic allergy to vibration have a mutation in a protein that's on the

outside of mast cells.

The protein has two subunits, but the mutation makes it harder for them to stay together,

so with vibration, one of the subunits falls away.

Without it, mast cells get the signal to let loose their cargo, and bam: hives.

Then there are the people with an allergy to the cold.

And no, this is not just a dislike of waiting for the bus in the winter time.

Cold urticaria is another physical urticaria, and it can be serious.

Touching cold objects or coming into contact with cold air or water causes welts, along

with angioedema, where the lower layers of the skin swell.

The reason why this physical allergy tends to be more dangerous is because it's pretty

easy to suddenly be totally surrounded by cold water — say, if you're swimming,

or if someone flushes the toilet while you're in the shower.

With so many mast cells releasing histamine throughout their body, someone with an allergy

to the cold can go into anaphylaxis, which involves difficulty breathing and low blood

pressure, and can be deadly.

So, yes, it's actually a pretty decent excuse to live in Florida.

Or Maui.

Just be wary of swimming and cold drinks.

Which brings us to perhaps the most unlikely allergy of all: water.

It's called aquagenic urticaria.

The condition is extremely rare -- one estimate is that there are only 32 people on the entire

planet with the condition.

So scientists don't have a great understanding of it.

But as you can probably guess, it gets in the way of a lot of things, not least bathing

and drinking.

And it makes rain not only annoying, but dangerous.

People with the condition get small hives within a half hour of water exposure, most

often on the upper parts of their bodies, like the neck and arms.

Their throat can start to swell when they drink water, and their own tears or sweat

can also produce the reaction.

Once water is actually inside their tissues, though, it seems to be fine.

As with the other physical urticarias, antihistamines can help — at least enough for someone with

the allergy to stay hydrated.

They don't always work, though, and some people go as far as putting creams or things

like petroleum jelly on their skin to prevent contact with water.

Next up, an allergy to exercise, or what medical professionals call exercise-induced anaphylaxis.

Now, you might be thinking, excellent, what a great excuse to skip the gym!

But as you can probably tell from the word "anaphylaxis," this condition can be pretty

serious.

People will usually start out by getting hives and wheezing, maybe with some nausea and diarrhea

thrown in.

Things will get better if they stop exercising, but if they keep going, their blood pressure

will drop, their throat will swell, and eventually their heart will stop pumping blood.

That's not very good, for obvious reasons, and several people have died.

Fortunately, exercise-induced anaphylaxis is rare — it's more common for people

to just develop hives.

Scientists aren't sure why it happens, but for some reason exercise triggers mast cells

to release lots of histamine and other proteins.

One idea, which is still very much unproven, is that endorphins, which are basically the

body's feel-good chemicals, help stimulate the mast cells to release their inflammatory

goodies.

We know endorphins have the ability to do this sometimes, and you release endorphins

when you exercise.

More strenuous activities, like running or biking, are more likely to spur an attack,

but some people will have an allergic response to something as simple as a raking leaves

or walking.

Being allergic to exercise is already pretty strange, but in some cases, there's an extra

twist, and the person only has the allergic response if they eat a certain food first.

This is called food-dependent exercise-induced anaphylaxis.

Everyone's food triggers are different, but common ones are things like shellfish,

wheat, and tomatoes.

If they exercise within several hours of eating that food, they'll have an allergic reaction.

Why this happens is also a mystery, but scientists suspect that part of it has to do with the

fact that exercise makes the cells lining the gut become less attached to one another,

letting more of the contents slip through.

That makes immune cells more likely to come into contact with allergens from the food

the person just ate.

If they also drink alcohol, symptoms tend to be worse.

The exercise could be doing a bunch of other things too, though, like changing how food

is broken down, or altering something else about the immune system in the gut.

We don't really know.

But in this case, the allergy is pretty easy to avoid.

Once you know your trigger foods, either don't eat them, or if you do, plan to spend the

rest of the afternoon on the couch.

For those with just the exercise allergy, doctors recommend carrying Epipens in case

of an attack, and learning the initial symptoms so they can stop exercising quickly, or training

with a partner who knows about the allergy and is prepared to help if it starts to get

out of hand.

This next one is probably really not fun to discover for the first time: an allergy to

semen.

This, as you might imagine, makes sex a little difficult.

It's called human seminal plasma hypersensitivity, and it's thought to be a fairly straightforward,

if unfortunate, allergy to proteins in semen.

It seems to be more common in biological females, and has mostly been studied as a female health

problem, but males can react to semen too, even their own.

Scientists aren't sure yet which proteins are the problem, although one candidate is

prostate-specific antigen, or PSA, the same protein that doctors will sometimes monitor

for prostate cancer.

The allergy shows up as a burning, itchy redness anywhere else the seminal fluid might touch.

It can also become a systemic reaction, producing hives on different parts of the body, and

cause wheezing and difficulty breathing.

Some people have even gone into anaphylactic shock.

Typically, using condoms during sex helps, as long as the person with the allergy isn't

the one producing the semen.

Some people also keep epipens on standby.

But allergists have also come up with ways to desensitize people to the proteins they

overreact to.

It's similar to an allergy shot you might get for a more typical allergen, like pollen.

Except here, you get increasing doses of your partner's semen applied to your vagina.

Or, if you don't have a vagina, allergists will isolate the proteins you react to, and

then inject them under your skin.

Either way, to keep that built-up tolerance, doctors advise patients to have sex every

2 days or so.

Even though the allergy is rarer in males, some scientists think it could be behind something

called postorgasmic illness syndrome, which is when males develop flu-like symptoms shortly

after they ejaculate, and can feel sick for up to a week.

If you think a semen allergy is bad, consider something called autoimmune progesterone dermatitis.

This is when someone reacts to their own menstrual hormones — specifically progesterone.

Progesterone levels start to go up about halfway through the menstrual cycle, and that's

when the problems begin.

The surge of progesterone can cause rashes, hives, or mouth sores, which last until the

person's period begins and progesterone levels drop.

Because of the recurring nature of the rashes, this is sometimes called cyclic urticaria.

With fewer than 100 cases on the books, scientists know very little about it.

Since it's a reaction to a person's own hormones, it's technically considered an

autoimmune disease, but it shares many features of an allergic response, including the possibility

of anaphylaxis.

Doctors usually treat patients with hormone therapy to prevent the usual production of

progesterone, and a variety of medications can help.

If it's bad enough, though, sometimes people choose to remove their ovaries.

And that's really what makes these kinds of allergies so strange — and difficult.

Normally, if you're allergic to mold spores, pets, or certain foods, you can mostly get

around them by avoiding those things.

But try avoiding water, the cold, or your own monthly hormonal fluctuations.

You either have to completely rearrange your life to avoid those things, if it's even

possible at all.

You might need surgery to remove otherwise perfectly good organs.

Or, with the semen allergy, it can dictate your sex life.

Of course, even the more common types of allergies aren't exactly fun.

But it could be a lot worse than getting hives after an encounter with your neighbor's

cat.

The 3 Things You Need To Know About Perimenopause - Duration: 8:16.

In today's video, I'm going to explain the three most important things you need to know

about perimenopause, how to keep it from coming on too young, how to get through it more easily,

and how to use it to set yourself up for an easier menopause.

So stick around.

Hi, I'm Dana LaVoie, an Acupuncturist, Herbalist, and founder of Menopause Basics.

For 15 years I've been helping women use natural remedies to balance hormones so they can have

an easier menopause and feel great afterward.

Before we jump right into understanding perimenopause today, I want to ask you a question.

How many of you right now know exactly what perimenopause is and how to take advantage

of it for your health?

Maybe you think it's just something that happens on autopilot and you just basically wait for

it to be over.

Well, no way.

I disagree.

It's actually out of the best opportunities, one of best times in your life to make a few

healthy tweaks that can set your health on the right track for the rest of your life.

Now at the end of today's training, I'm going to invite you to sign up for a free copy of

my Menopausal Woman's Roadmap so you can learn five really easy to follow steps that will

get you started on balancing your hormones naturally today.

I've been working with women and menopause for 15 years now, and I've noticed that so

many women are well into the worst of perimenopause or even all the way at menopause before they

even think of doing anything to manage it.

But the best time to effect your health during and after menopause is at the very beginning

of perimenopause.

Here are the three things you need to know about perimenopause.

Number one: You don't want to go into menopause depleted and you don't want to start menopause

younger than necessary.

It's interesting because I see so many women hit perimenopause at a time in their lives

when they've been burning the candle at both ends, emptying out their energy reserves and

not taking great care of themselves for a few years.

This is not a recipe for success or good health during and after menopause.

What you want to do instead is before perimenopause and during early perimenopause are where you

want to make it a priority to refill your energy reserves.

The best ways to do this are to get enough sleep and eat good food at regular times during

the day.

If you're going whole days without finding time to eat anything wholesome, if you are

staying up late and getting up early, it's time to make a change.

If you're up half the night, it's time to re-prioritize sleep.

If your energy reserves are depleted, your hormone levels are likely already lower than

you really want them to be.

You want to get those hormone levels topped off before they drop during menopause.

You don't want them to already be low and then drop because then they're going to really

bottom out.

This is a great time to make sure you're including all the right hormonal building blocks in

your diet every day so that your body can make more hormones and top off those hormone

levels.

That free download, my roadmap, I show you exactly how to get started with the most important

dietary building blocks for hormones.

Number two thing you need to know about perimenopause: You want your healthy habits like stress management

in place before full-on menopause hits.

During menopause, you're going to become more sensitive to stress.

If your stress hormone levels are high during menopause, it's going to make it harder for

your body to manage your other hormones like estrogen and progesterone, and that's going

to make your menopause symptoms worse.

Getting a good stress management routine in place before menopause is one of the best

things you can do to make menopause easier.

It does not have to be anything long or fancy.

Just a few minutes a day can make a huge difference.

I'm also going to put a link below this video to my favorite two-minute stress management

routine, acupressure ear massage, and a really great two-minute guided meditation.

They only take a couple of minutes, but the trick is to get in the habit of doing them

every day.

Number three thing that you want to know about perimenopause: Supporting progesterone levels

naturally, keeping that progesterone topped off and as high as possible can help ease

the worst symptoms of perimenopause, like really intense PMS, really intense mood swings,

anxiety, and irritability, and really heavy bleeding.

These are often caused by progesterone that falls too low or falls too fast.

To keep your progesterone level healthy, to keep it from falling too low or too fast,

you want to replenish your energies before it starts to fall.

We talked about that in step one, by not burning the candle at both hands, skimping on sleep,

and forgetting to eat.

Then all during menopause and perimenopause, you want to support your progesterone levels.

My favorite way to do this, again, is by giving your body the building blocks it needs to

make progesterone.

You do this by including the right foods and certain superfoods specifically for hormones

like progesterone.

You include those in your diet every day.

Again, my free roadmap is going to show you exactly how to get started with that.

That's what it's for.

Basically, what it's going to tell you is that you want plenty of healthy fats because

hormones are made of fats: avocados, nuts, seeds, things like that.

You're going to want enough servings every day of fruits and vegetables.

That's really important.

This is the time to add superfoods that are specific to menopause and female hormones

into your diet.

One of my favorites is two tablespoons of fresh ground flax seeds every day, but there

are definitely others as well.

So, to recap, the three things you need to know about perimenopause are, number one,

don't go into it burned out and depleted.

If you've been burning the candle at both ends, skimping on sleep, and forgetting to

eat, make taking better care of yourself more of a priority.

Number two, get your healthy habits like stress management in place before menopause hits.

A few minutes a day is all it takes to start managing those stress hormone levels.

Number three, support progesterone levels naturally with progesterone building blocks

in your diet daily, using the right superfoods and foods.

If you enjoyed this video and want to get started using these techniques today, then

I invite you to click the link below and sign up for your free copy of my Menopausal Woman's

Roadmap.

It's a free download and it will just get you started with five really easy to follow

steps that show you what to eat each day to give your body the building blocks it needs

to make progesterone.

And it will show you the three most common mistakes women make during menopause and how

to avoid them.

The Prelate of Opus Dei in London — Highlights from a pastoral trip - Duration: 27:30.

And when you are doing the Work here,

at the same time you are doing it

all over the world —

from Australia to Canada,

from Chile to the ends of China or Russia:

What God wants to do in our souls

is to identify us with Jesus Christ,

which in our case is through the spirit which he has given us

through our Father, the spirit of the Work.

And then to spread the Work to other people,

in all the places where we are.

That should be

our desire, our human desire, but with the responsibility

of having received this task from God.

The work you do in the schools is enormously important.

Everything related to a person's education,

especially from the time they are young,

has great importance later on, in their own personal life,

and in the lives of the many people

whom they will influence throughout their life:

it has an enormous impact.

Everything to do with the education of young people is really important.

The faithfulness that God asks of us -

faithfulness to our own vocation;

faithfulness, not just in general, but daily,

to the duty of each moment -

we should see as

faithfulness to Someone,

not just faithfulness to our work,

to a way of doing things,

not even faithfulness to a beautiful ideal, which it is,

but faithfulness to Someone, to Jesus Christ.

That's why we need to place him at the centre

of our lives.

And in order to place him truly at the centre of our life,

we have a way which is very close to hand,

which is that He himself comes

to meet us in the Eucharist.

The shortcut

The shortcut!,

so to call,

is Our Lady.

She is the way. There is a point

In "The Way"…

in which St Josemaría says:

We go to Jesus, and we return to him, through Mary.

To go to our Lord, to love him more,

we should go to our Lady, and ask her

to take us, to take you, by the hand, to Jesus.

Depending on the issues you need to deal with, to talk about or write about,

you don't necessarily have to use religious arguments.

But in any case it's always possible

to refer to what man is, what woman is:

in other words, to the natural law, without calling it that,

and to the values based on natural law.

Often in contemporary culture,

at least in Western countries,

you find a whole set of, let's call them values,

which are taken for granted, and that everyone has to accept.

Some are good, of course,

others are more debatable, while others are not really values at all.

What we need to aim at,

as St Josemaría used to say, is to drown evil in an abundance of good.

Depending on circumstances it may be good, or even necessary,

to make clear our opposition to something which is objectively immoral,

which goes against the truly human meaning of life…

We do so without violence,

with sensitivity and clarity, but also stating the truth.

But sometimes it will be more useful

to aim higher,

and to talk about the beauty of lifelong faithfulness

in the love between a man and a woman, for example.

Freedom is such a fundamental aspect

of our life that God respects it even when we misuse it, as is obvious.

And freedom, as we know,

consists not so much in choosing,

as in the way we choose -

choosing without external coercion.

That is why the act most proper to freedom is that of love:

loving, which is truly wanting, desiring.

Many of you will recall how our Father would say

that even in the supernatural order

to do things because we really want to, is the most supernatural reason,

because it is the most appropriate expression of freedom. To do things because we really want to.

This is of enormous importance in our lives,

and also in the upbringing of young people.

Those immigrants,

even though many of them are not Christian,

are people whom Jesus loves, for whom He has died on the Cross.

That is what lies behind our interest in them,

what makes us go out, to the extent we can.

Unfortunately it's the case

that often we can't do as much as we would wish.

All of Christianity,

the whole law of God,

is summed up in the commandment of love,

in the "mandatum novum" which our Lord gave us at the Last Supper -

in charity,

in "loving one another as I have loved you", as the Lord says.

Ask the Holy Spirit to enlighten people,

because apostolate, trying to help others to come close to the Lord,

to make a new start in their Christian life

is necessary, because our Lord relies on it, on our help:

on our talking and especially on our friendship with others.

But it is God above all who moves souls,

although he relies on our help so that those souls open up to his action.

First of all by considering that we all have a vocation,

because the Christian vocation,

as I said earlier, is to holiness.

We are all called to holiness.

But what each one does may vary,

and it's a question of discerning what God wants specifically for each one of us.

This discernment

doesn't take the form of asking:

Does God want me to be a saint, or simply an ordinary Christian?

That isn't discernment, since we're all called to holiness.

We should ask God to let us see the path

that he wants for us,

and as well as asking for light, we should ask him for the strength to want what he is asking,

because at times the problem

is not the overall vocation as such but the specific difficulties:

at times it's not that we lack light to see, but rather we lack the true desire:

the strength to want it.

The family is a priority everywhere, in every country.

It's important to defend the family

and families which form, which help other families.

I understand your enthusiasm with that work which you do with families,

because it really is of great importance,

especially nowadays, when families are coming under so much attack,

and are so often at risk of falling apart.

It's important that families help other families, as you are doing:

it is of enormous benefit for the families themselves,

and then for all that those families do, in their surroundings,

with other families they know.

All that work you do is apostolate,

which the Lord blesses and encourages

from Heaven, so that you keep on doing it.

For that apostolate, as with any apostolic undertaking, what is essential is personal apostolate:

personal apostolate which is friendship,

trying to reach people through friendship.

Work, as our Father taught us,

is the hinge on which our life turns.

It is the sanctification of ordinary work,

which includes the whole of ordinary life in reality.

It's not just the material fact of working, but…

it's especially work, but more broadly it's the sanctification of ordinary life.

Don't think that holiness consists in doing strange and wonderful things:

holiness consists in loving God and others in ordinary life, in everyday life.

Every Pope has an enormous weight to bear.

At present the situation is especially difficult because there is a lot of division,

as is clear even in the social media.

There is division at many levels within the Church:

And that weighs a lot on the Pope and he asks for our prayers.

The same situation applies to the world in general:

deep processes of de-Christianisation in many countries of ancient Catholic tradition,

which weighs not only on the Pope, but it does weigh on the Pope in a very special way

By the grace of God he has great vitality, great strength,

but it is a heavy weight and he relies on our prayer.

We should all enthuse one another

and be enthused, full of hope and supernatural and human optimism,

precisely because we rely on the Lord,

on the love which God has for us and for the people.

It's true that we often find ourselves in difficult surroundings,

with people

distant from the faith, especially through ignorance and lack of formation.

We need to do what we can: working, of course,

thinking, having initiative,

but above all turning to God's help, to prayer.

So often our Father used to tell us,

The only weapon we have for doing Opus Dei is prayer.

Can I become saint?

It's impossible.

Well then, we should be sure of the impossible.

Because we're not the ones doing things:

it is the Lord doing them with us.

He counts on our struggles, on our efforts,

but he is the one doing it.

He has promised us,

I will be with you always, until the end of time.

So let's be filled - always, always -

with hope, with confidence.
