Waching daily Mar 11 2018

Welcome to the Kammebornia podcast, about life in general and knitting in particular

In the Kammebornia podcast we want to invite you to our world

that is full of thoughts, feelings and discussions

caused through the scent of the coffee and the soft peaceful rhythm of the knitting

Kammebornia is our art project as well as our own kingdom

Kammebornia is about our wish that everyone could live in their own fairytale kingdom in this place we call reality

and it is about our wish that everyone could be the king or the queen in their own life

We are Dennis and Pia and we live on Gotland, the island of roses and fairytales in the Baltic sea

We wish for a softer, more kind and warm world

Love and respect, does it have to be so hard?

Without the woolen threads, I get lost

but if I can knit one more row and one more, I can find my way home again

Through the magic of the threads I take my way through the days and the nights

With a rhythm like the waves and the heart beating,

I knit one stitch after the other and one row after the other

at the same time I collect my thoughts and feelings

A warm welcome to the second episode of the Kammebornia podcast in 2018!

Today, we will show you Dennis' and Ellas new sweaters

We will be talking about a trinity in knitting and in food

We will give you a book recommendation and I will show you my new knitting bag

And we are talking about that it might be our imperfections that makes us perfect

Welcome!

My grandparents have been very important for me my whole life

My grandfather died 20 years ago

I lay next to him and I sang and hugged him over to the other side

My first born baby was also in my arms

My grandmother died 8-9 yaers ago, just when I met Dennis

They had never the time to meet but I know she would love him

My grandmother was born in 1917 and she was a seamstress

She sewed all the dresses, skirts and coats I wanted

and I always loved to be in her studio, knitting or sewing on my own litte project

or helping her to sew in buttons, iron or overlocking

and picking up needles from the floor with a big magnet

There was always a lovely scent of newly baked bread and cakes from my grandmother's kitchen

Now I use her recipes as well as her sewing tools

Her thimble is always close to me in my little box filled with important stuff I need every day

and I keep my haberdashery in her old sewing box that also serves as a stool

My grandmother's sponge cake has a scent of cosiness and it tastes happiness

like it always felt in her house when I was dancing in front of the mirror and

my grandfather said I was beautiful and my grandmother said I was her heart of gold

and we had sponge cake in the evening when we knitted together watching television

Hello!

Please taste my cake!

it's my grandmother's recipe

and my grandmother's cake tin

it's the best

This cake is so associated to my memories of my grandmother

she was always baking a lot of good stuff

Do you remember certain things that your mother or grandmother used to bake?

Yes, kanelbullar, what's that in English?

Cinnamon buns

That's what my mother baked all the time

Always!?

Yes, we ate them all up, immediately, we were three brothers and a sister

So they disappeared before they had cooled?

Yes. This is such a tasty cake! You should try this!

I can taste your crumbs!

There is a piece for you

Thank you, I will have that later

It is such a high quality of life to have coffee and cake together, don't you think?

Yes, it's the most important thing!

or having a meal together

we have always had a high priority in having dinner together

we were never good at driving the children to activites when they were younger, because we were having dinner

it felt more important to us

all those meetings and stuff we had to turn down or ignore - to get time together at the dinner table

we were so busy having a good time with the children around the dinner table

but we did not force them

No! I think if you ask our children, they will tell you they loved and treasured those moments

Yes, I am sure

I have heard them talk about that

I think it has always been an important moment, through history of time, to share a meal

Food is a primary need, like sleep

I has not always been easy to find food for everyone

Yes, isn't it a lovely thing to know that you have food to put on the table?

and to be able to sit together with the people you love and share a meal

it is not the same to eat all alone

We are so lucky to have each other!

Anyway, there are some things that are important when having a good meal

It has to be beautiful, it's always important, if you are alone at your table as well as if you are together with others

Yes, and you need time

It's like a respectful ceremony

I think you shall enjoy your meals and set the table beautifully

You always read something before we eat, or before we are allowed to eat

I like to have the feeling of that we are gathering around the table and that we can take a deep breath

to collect our thoughts and enable us to be present in this moment

like, here we are and we are going to enjoy and appreciate this together with gratefulness

I think it has a lot to do with being grateful

And yes, I read a verse, a prayer before we eat, that our children learned in their Waldorf school

It is beautiful

yes, it is very beautiful but I have troubles remembering

In the sunlight ripens what the earth us brings

Just as aour growing souls ripens, in the divine light

Blessings on this meal

Then you have time to feel awe

it's a good thing

There is a fantastic thing about to happen, we are going to share a meal of tasty food!

So, I like to say something but of course that can be different things and verses and so on, maybe you just say Bon Appetit!

I am thinking of my mother. It seemed like she was always cooking, working in the kitchen

Then we came, three hungry boys and all the food disappeared in a second

Then we ran away and she had to do the washing up

I can relate to that feeling

But my memories are light and happy

We were also helping out sometimes and it was an important moment of the day, every day

If we were out playing, she rang in a cowbell when it was time to come and eat

We have that bell here, in the hallway

I often think about the long talks and discussions we had around the table with our children

It was about space, about books they had read, movies we wanted to watch, things that happened in school

World politics, life values

I think we were building our lives together during those conversations

Yes, it is such an important time

We always sat for such a long time and sometimes you had to say - Please leave, I have to do the washing up now!

No one wanted to leave the table

Yes, there were no order

Then we tried to have different days for the children to help out with the washing up

It was hard to have good rules around that

It was not so much fun

Sometimes it was successful but mostly not

But it is things that has to get done

You often say that you enjoy doing those chores, it makes you feel grateful for what you have

If you are not too stressed about other things you have to do

I am grateful for every day that I can have dinner

and do the washing up afterwards

It is nice things

It is a lot of snow outside today!

It is supposed to be spring soon

And it is getting darker, the sun is setting

Yes, but you have finished your Riddati!

And now we are going to show you some more of the things we have knitted

That's fun!

Ella and Dennis have both finished their Riddari's

It feels amazing that they both started to knit about a year ago

Ella has already finished a couple of sweaters. The latest one is Chuck in 3-ply wool from Ullcentrum.

I am almost finished with my Wiola cardigan

And I have knitted an Aftur for the knitalong I am hosting together with Järbo garn this spring

I have also knitted 2 pairs of mittens in my new pattern Roses are red, Violets are blue

These are knitted in Rauma finull fron YlloTyll.

Nice sweaters if I may say so myself!

Yes, really, I am so proud of you!

How does it feel, walking around in a sweater you have knitted all by yourself?

It is still a bit unreal

I learned so much during this process and I needed a lot of help

But I feels much better now when I have knitted for a while, I understand more of what I am actually doing

I want to understand but I think its hard with the mathematics

But it is more fun the more I learn

I enjoyed knitting it

What do you think about it?

It is gorgeous! And now you are working on a...

Yes, I have misplaced or lost my favorite hat, so I am making a new one

I think everyone that follows us knows that I have a hard time feeling comfortable in a hat

My favorite hat is called Barley hat from Tincan knits

Anyway, it's gone, so I am making a new one

How is that, to make another one just the same but now you are more used to knitting?

Now I understand what I am doing!

In the beginning I did not know what I was doing and you yelled at me, no, no, not like that

No, just kidding, you did not yell, both you and Ella helped me a lot

But now I understand so much more and that is a good feeling

It looks so good and even

So I am knitting this hat and at the same time I am planning for my next project

Do you know what it will be?

I think I will make a shawl

So you have decided now?

Exciting! But do you know which one?

No, we can look that up tonight

I made you a shawl a couple of years ago, that you have used a lot

Yes, the green one, I love it, but it needs to be mended

I can do that!

Thank you, that is good!

I am working on my Wiola cardigan

It is almost finished now, all the pieces are put together, I have decided what to do about about the sleeve issue

I am keeping my error

Thank you so much for all your support and advice concerning this matter!

I our latest episode I wanted to share my errors on on of my sleeves

I wanted to show you that I am not perfect. Sometimes we think that we are the only ones making errors

frogging and unravelling

One of my sleeves is right and the other one is wrong according to the pattern

I have thought a lot about it but I have decided to let it be

I wanted to keep the crooked one, I too feel crooked sometimes, I can relate to it in some way

We all have scars here and there, both visible and unvisible

I wanted to hold on to the thoughts about that the imperfections make us perfect

Maybe the imperfections heal us

And it is important to show this, show ourselves vulnerable

And I think it is beautiful the way it is. If I did not think it looked beautiful, I would have done something about it

but in that case, I gues I would have recognized the error earlier on

But I think you have problems with it anyway, doesn't it bother you?

No, it doesn't anymore. It did, when I found out I had made a mistake, but now I am cool about it

And I am knitting another one

Well done by you!

Thank you!

Ok, we have to continue this today, because what you just saw was yesterday for us

We did not have time to wrap everything up yesterday because it got dark and we had some technique problems

But it is also very light - because there is so much snow here!

It's all white outside and it's snowing all the time

So let's continue

I am knitting on my Wiola cardigan

and I am also knitting Aftur for the knitalong I am hosting together with Järbo garn

But I am also working on some smaller projects

Last time I showed you my new mitten pattern, Roses are red, Violets are blue

Honey is sweet and so are you

Thank you!

This pair that I showed you the last time, are knitted in Ullcentrum, 2-ply

Ullcentrum are selling yarn kits for my mittens!

That's nice!

I have also knitted two pairs in Rauma finull from YlloTyll

A grey pair and a blue pair

It's a great yarn for mittens

I have also made one mitten in a retro green springish colour with pink roses, also in Rauma finull

I like them!

Then I have knitted another mitten!

It's a pattern by Wenche Roald, called Kristin's Lyre flowers

This mitten...

...you loved to knit

Yes, it was pure joy to knit it!

I ahve only made one so far and the thumb is not knitted yet but anyway, I love it

I am a big fan of Wenche's patterns

It's a lovely mitten

We are going to Edinburgh and Blacker Yarns are hosting a knitalong using their yarn

We are so happy to be invited to the podcaster's lounge at the Edinburgh Yarn Festival

The Podcaster's lounge is sponsored by Blacker Yarns and that's why they are now hosting this knitalong

You can knit whatever you want as long as you are using a yarn from Blacker Yarns

I was so excited to try their yarns because I have not had the opportunity before

I have knitted these mittens in the Shetland yarn from Blacker yarns and I absolutely love it!

I fell in love with this yarn!

Yes, you were completely gone, knitting that mitten, talking about the loveliness

Yes, and at the same time I tried my new dpn's Chiao Goo needlesthat I bought from Moods of Colors

She sells Chiao Goo needles now in her webshop

So this is a set with sock needles, or mitten needles

I hope these won't break like most of my sock needles do

I like trying different needles and even the karbonz needles, that are supposed to be so strong, break...

They are supposed to be so strong and the same material is used in spaceships and cars and other tough things

I have good hope in these!

And I like knitting with them

This project was a match made in heaven, great pattern, lovely yarn and fantastic needles, everything was right

And you were right!

And you were right! That's sweet of you! Thank you!

The company and the moment was also right

We were watching Shetland, the tv-series

Very suitable as I was knitting with Blacker Yarns' Shetland yarn

So I was thinking about this thing we often talk about concering a meal

The experience of a meal is like a trinity

It is not only important what food is being served, there are more components than the food to a meal

How you perceive a meal is dependent on several things, three things mostly

First there is the food

Then there is the company and also the enviroment or the situation

Yes, and the company and the enviroment is as important as the food

it's like a trinity

Good food does not taste good in a bad company

Sometimes you can not choose your company or enviroment or even your food

Of course, but these are good things to consider if you are planning a fantastic meal

You need all the components

While knitting this mitten I could relate to that, all the components were right for me

and that is why it was such a great experience

You can have a lovely yarn but using a bad pattern and then the yarn is not as lovely to work with as if you have a great pattern

Good pattern, good needles and a good yarn makes a great combination

That's what I was reflecting on while knitting this mitten!

It should be like that all the time

I am making another one because I want to wear them in Edinburgh

I think there will be a meet up, at the festival, for everyone that has knitted something in yarn from Blacker Yarns

That must be fun!

I also have this lovely yarn, Jacob, from Blacker Yarns but I have not had time to try it yet

I have not decided what to knit yet

Very nice anyway

Now I want to show something else!

What?

This lovely knitting bag!

This bag is called the Rittenhouse tote and it is soon to be launched by Fairmountbag.co

@fairmountbagco is a US based couple, named Katelyn and Christopher

I have the honour of being a test pilot of this bag

You can check them out at fairmountbag.co and also support them on Kickstarter

It's made from waxed canvas and it is great in so many ways

We are going to show you a clip of me and this bag

This bag is big enough to contain my knitting projects as well as other stuff I need to bring when I leave home

There are several slots and pockets for needles, your phone and other things you need to store in the bag

There is also a reinforced scissor sheath and other great details

And this great thing I always need to measure my needles

Waxed canvas makes the bag both good looking and durable.

There is also a removable pattern holder and I love that my bag is brown but it will also be available in other colour ways

You can find Fairmount Bag Co both on Instagram and on ther homepage

I like the fact that I can carry this bag in so many diffrent ways

And I like the magnetic closures that are invisible but works fine and keeps my yarn safe

I say wow! about this bag!

As you can see, it is a fantastic bag

I am honored to have been a test pilot of such a great bag!

I will use this bag for a very long time

It's excellent quality

I really like this waxed canvas

Maybe I have to hold on tight to it

Yes, I would also like one

We can use it together and take turns

Yesterday you asked me how many bags a woman can have

Yes and you answered -As many as she needs!

Yes, that's true, I need different bags for different things

But this is a very good and useful bag!

Check out fairmountbag.co

Books

First things out are my patterns but I am not sure if I shall show them as it is not so easy yet for me to sell them

I have printed Roses are red, Catch a Falling Star and Wisby mittens, all in Swedish

You can find them at yllotyll.com, at Garncentrum Rättvik and at Henriettas garn in Karlskrona

And Ullcentum sells Roses are red and also yarn kits.

For now, they are only available in Swedish and I have plans for a webshop in the future where I can sell them in both English and Swedish

I am so glad that they turned out so fine, I have a graphic designer and artist helping me designing my patterns

So, this is the first step towards our webshop where we can sell patterns, yarnkits and other great things

Yes, a small shop!

It would be nice!

Then we have a book we want to recommend!

Book, magazine, whatever we shall call it

a great publication

It is called Woods

Woods is made by Hanna Lisa and Verena

we have followed them on Instagram through the process

You can find them on Instagram as @_makingstories

This is a tribute to wool and to soulful stash, to nature itself

it is nature friendly, good yarns and great patterns

locally produced yarns

It is also a tribute to knitters and to creativity

and to pattern makers

It is a very beautiful book with lots of inspiration

We can read about how wool for a long time in many places, not has been appreciated or wanted

It is still this way in many places. Here on Gotland and in the rest of Sweden for example, a lot of wool is being destroyed

it is what happens when there are no one to take care of it

it is sad

But Woods is a part in re-establishing the importance of wool and the process of making it into yarn that can be clothes for example

and in this publication there are a lot of great patterns and beautiful pictures

Like for example this yoke sweater by Jennifer Steingass

She creates so many wonderful yokes and this is really lovely

We can highly recommend Woods in case you have not bought it yet

I think Ella is going to make the Jennifer Steingass sweater

Yes, I think so too. And there are so many other lovely patterns.

It's beautiful

And a nice read

I also like the size and the whole feeling of it

So this is our recommendation today!

Do you want to go out and play in the snow or what are we going to do now?

But we might not be able to get out. One of the doors is frozen and totally stuck.

But I think we will manage, we have what we need at home

I want to send warm greetings to Ally!

Yes, to our friend Ally in Scotland!

Thank you for making our days brighter with your letters, presents and greetings!

We love your letters and gifts Ally! And most of all your kindness and warm words!

AIR JORDAN 1 "GAME ROYAL" (ALTERNATE) REVIEW / HISTORY - Duration: 6:41.

It was the early Saturday morning DNA show catching their occasional Saturday morning ales

Bro what you think about these warrants are you talking about these?

Yo was good you guys we're back with another review of the game royal one

We're gonna give you guys an extensive review with the comparison of recent releases

And they tell you what we think about it the archer Air Jordan 1 royal alternate releasing March 24th

160 dollars this is gonna be a cop for you leave a comment down below. I got a couple comparisons

I want to do for you guys the 2017 royal one the 2018 bred 201 and in the

2015 Chicago one there's a lot of similarities and all these sneakers to this shoe and the materials the cuts and the style

It came from the same era so they have a pretty similar form and shape of the shoe

So let's go ahead and dive into it first you

I want to compare to the Royal one this sneaker is considered the alternate raw one

so here's a look at the Royal one just to give you an idea of the materials if you see the tumbled leather in the

Side and the smooth leather on the back. That's something to look at besides from that in the color blocking

They're both pretty clean, and you can't be mad at that next use the Chicago one

2015 now this is what kind of started the new era of the shape of the ones and

People getting into that vibe with a high. Oh gee look so people are definitely digging this

For color blocking. This is the most similar sneaker the only thing that's different is the tongue

They didn't match the tongue with the white you see they have a black tongue here and a white tongue here

Besides from that the leather. I think is actually a little bit nicer on the newer pair of the 2018 retro overall

It's a pretty solid shoe, and I think it matches up pretty well with the Chicago one

I think the next biggest

comparison now is going to be to the bread to one that's one of the most hyped for the quality and the

Colorway the style and just the ultimate vibe of the sneaker

I want to compare these two just so I can show you the differences between the leathers and

Obviously the color blocking is pretty much the same, but just in a blue

Compared to a red on the backside of the sneaker

If you look at the leather on the side of the sneaker you can see that

It's a creamy off-white with the midsole being kind of creamy and off-white

Compared to this royal ultimate

and it's just like a pure white so those are two things that kind of look at if you see here in here and

Then they're in

There so for the back of the sneaker very very similar alright getting into the heel of the shoe

Now you look at the color blocking here

I'm gonna switch the left side is always gonna stay the same the right side will continue to change

So let's get into it first sneaker the Chicago 1 2015 the cut. Everything's pretty much the same color blocking

It's the exact same just in red but besides from that

overall still a good look next shoe the Royal you see the color blocking change a little bit with the white here and

The black here, and then the blue here in the black there. Those are two things to notice the leather quality

I would say on the Royal one is a little bit better on the heel of the sneaker

I like that one a little bit more going into the side of the sneaker you can see this is a royal one here and

Then the alternative here, so that's the color bucking change compared to the original colorway now

This is the one that's I'm sure gonna be the biggest topic you look at the side here and here

And that's the creamy white I was talking about earlier. That's the difference

I think people like the og vibe with the creamy off-white kind of vintage look

I don't know

It's up to you leave a comment down below and let us know what you think on that part

And then here's a similar look to the original

Chicago colorway except for if you look at the leather on the side here you can see the tumbled nice

It's a little bit thicker feels a lot better here compared to the smooth leather here. I think that's a preference thing

Personally, I like the tumbled leather a little bit more now

Let's hop into the tongues like I was saying before the tongue is the only difference between the Chicago one white here black there

Everything else the same going into the Royal

They replicated the tongue have the same exact part of that sneaker, so I can't be mad at that and that's about it Joe, so

I'm gonna kick it back to the boys, and uh we got to get out of here

All right you guys, so we're gonna give you our thoughts on this sneaker

We just did an extensive review a good comparison of the recent releases, and we're just gonna tell you what we think about it

I think these are awesome. I think the quality is amazing on this shoe. I was actually really surprised

How you feel about the quality yeah quality is great

I'm loving the materials the whole everything that they got going on with the new stuff coming out

I think they're doing a good job with the wine saying that it's a really. Hype niku right now

Yeah, so in comparison. I think is really comparable to the bread tote. I think most comparable

And I thought the bread toe was amazing as well

So go to the bread talk video check out the comparisons that we did for that

very very thorough and

Like I said, it's most comparable to this one as far as quality

and then the color blocking is a tad bit different obviously red here blue here, but I'm personally a

Alternative fan so I like the blue. I love the fragment one. So these are very comparable to the fragment

I think I'm a half on these if you guys like this content

Please make sure you subscribe we got plenty more reviews coming and make sure you comment down below what other?

Comparisons or reviews we thought you would like to see we saw that somebody wanted to see a monarch video

Okay, so we might have to give you that monarch video, so they just released a second pair of the Monarchs, okay, yeah

All

Right job. Thanks for watching if you can please subscribe we would appreciate it

I don't want to beg you but please subscribe to the channel

No, but we appreciate whoever's been watching at us and following us throughout our journey. We appreciate you guys. I mean stay tuned

What's that being said? We'll hit you with some cute shots of the sneaker and get out of here

Top 10 Creepy Last Meal Requests - Duration: 7:44.

Welcome back guys to most amazing top 10, my name is Danny Burke and todays were taking

a look at the top 10 creepy last meal requests.

These are the meals that inmates on death row in America asked for in the hours leading

up to their execution.

Obviously, food by itself isnt really creepy, but theres something about these requests

that fascinate or even shock people - lets get into our number 10 with James Edward Smith

He was sentenced to death in Texas for a murdering during a robbery in Houston.

He was executed on June 25th 1990.

Before his death, he was asked what he wanted his last meal to be - he replied -dirt- … plain

old dirt from the ground.

He explained that he wanted it for a voodoo ritual.

He wanted to use the dirt to mark his body so that his spirit would move on to the afterlife

and not become a ghost.

The prison said that dirt was not on their list of acceptable food requests and asked

him again what he wanted - he chose Yoghurt.

I think that one was just to eat, not for a different voodoo ritual.

At number 9 now we have Victor Feguer.

This man from Michigan was convicted of murder in 1963 and was executed by hanging in Iowa

State Penitentiary.

He was the last person to be executed in that state.

For his last meal, he requested one single olive with the pit still inside - nothing

else.

He hoped that when he died, it would grow into an olive tree from inside his body as

a sign of peace.

After he was hanged, the authorities found the pit in one of his suit pockets.

Did he forget to swallow it?

Or was it just a strange lie?

At number 8 now we have Velma Barfield.

This woman from South Carolina was an American serial killer who killed 7 people from 1971

to 1978.

She was executed in 1984 at Central Prison North Carolina.

She chose as her last meal a bag of cheeze doodles and a 12 ounce can of Coca Cola.

People found it strange because normally, prisoners can request pretty much anything

- including steaks, lobsters, any kind of expensive food - would you choose cheese doodles

and coke?

Maybe thats someones favourite meal!

Moving on to number 7 we have Aileen Wuornos.

This woman was an American serial killer from Michigan.

She murdered seven men in Florida between 1989 and 1990.

After being sentenced to death, she turned down all her chances of appealing and said

-I killed those men and Id do it again too … I have hate crawling through my system-

… she was offered a last meal but declined and instead chose a cup of black coffee.

Her last words were -Yes, I would just like to say Im sailing with the rock, and Ill be

back, like Independence Day, with Jesus.

June 6th, like the movie, big ship and all, Ill be back, Ill be back-

At number 6 now we have Thomas J. Grasso.

This man from Oklahoma strangled an 87 year old woman on Christmas Eve 1990 - he then

stole some small change and her TV.

6 months later, he killed an 81 year old man and stole his security check.

He was executed on March 20th 1995 - before his death, he released a number of press statements

including a poem he wrote called -A Visit With Mystery- … the first few lines read

-Ready, willing, and waiting am I. I asked for death but could not die.

Each sunrise is one day less, Ill endure this horrible mess- … pretty intense, seemed

to contrast a lot with his last meal which he requested be a bowl of room temperature

Spaggethi-Os … apparently the guards always served it too hot to him ...

At number 5 now we have Gary Carl Simmons.

This man from Mississippi executed a butcher in 1996 and then used his meat carving knives

to dismember him and scatter the body parts in alligator infested waters.

He recieved a lethal injection in 2012.

His last meal was shocking just because of its sheer size.

He ordered a pizza hut supreme dish pizza with double mushrooms, onions, jalapeno peppers

and pepperoni, another pizza with 3 cheeses, olives, bell peppers, tomatoes, garlic and

italian sausage, 10 eight ounce packs of parmesan cheese, 10 cups of ranch dressing, 8 ounces

of jalapeno nacho cheese, 4 ounces of sliced jalapenos, 2 twenty ounch cherry cokes, 2

large strawberry shakes, two pints of strawberry ice cream and a family sized bag of Doritos

nacho cheese flavor.

That came to 29,000 calories.

Sounds like a death sentence in its own right.

Next up at number 4 we have Barton Kay Kirkham.

This man from Utah was sentenced to death in 1956 after the murder of two grocery store

clerks during an armed robbery in Salt Lake City.

He was the last person to be hanged in the state of Utah.

Hios last meal request was for Pizza and Ice Cream - telling the prison steward that -you

get cheese, meat and everything in one meal, not so much fuss- … I think that they were

seperate though and not together, Im not sure though.

His last words were -Ive asked God to forgive me-

At number 3 now we have Ricky Ray Rector.

In 1981 - this man from Arkansas shot and killed a man in a restaurant and then a police

officer who was negotiating his surrender and then tried to kill himself - he failed

and was instead executed for his crimes in 1992.

He requested steak, fried chicken, cherry Kool-Aid and pecan pie.

The guards didnt find anything creepy until they came to get him for the execution, he

had left the pecan pie completely untouched and told them he was saving it for later.

Was he full?

Was this just a joke?

A threat?

Creepy either way …

Moving on to number 2 we have Larry Bill Elliot.

This man from Virginia killed a young couple to impress an adult escort he met on the internet.

He was electrocuted for his crimes in 2001 - only the 5th inmate to choose that method

of execution since the lethal injection had been introduced 6 years earlier.

Many people find his last meal request strange because - we don't know what it is.

Its not public information.

Elliot specifically requested that his last meal remain a secret.

We don't know why - it could have been something very normal but the fact that the public couldnt

know made a lot of people wonder what it could be.

Why do you guys think someone would do this?

And finally at number 1 we have Lawrence Russell Brewer.

This white supremacist was executed via lethal injection for the murder of James Byrd Junior.

He requested a large meal a bit like the one we talked about earlier.

Two chicken fried steaks with sliced onions dripping gravy, a triple meat bacon cheeseburger

with everything on the side, one cheese omelet with ground beef, tomatoes, onions, bell peppers,

jalapenos, a large bowl of fried okra and ketchup, one pound of barbecued meat and half

a loaf of white bread, 3 fajitas with all the toppings, a pizza hut meat lovers pizza

, a pint of blue bell vanilla ice cream, peanut butter fudge with crushed peanuts and 3 root

beers.

When all of that arrived, he refused to eat it, saying he wasnt hungry.

One last middle finger before his execution.

I bet the prison guards ate well though …

Well, there you go - I did also read that a lot of these states have changed their laws

so that prisoners cant request anything that comes to more than 20 dollars.

Anyway, what do you think about last meal requests as a whole concept?

I know a lot of people have a morbid fascination with them.

My name is Danny Burke, thans for watching as always guys and Ill see you all in the

next video.

Khloe Kardashian Confirms She's Having A Baby Girl But She's Not Happy - Duration: 2:08.

KHLOE Kardashian has confirmed she s having a baby girl.

The 33-year-old reality star, who is eight months pregnant, made the big reveal during

the series finale of Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

During the episode, Kylie Jenner called Khloe to deliver the news from her doctor as she

was on a trip to San Francisco at the time.

Kylie told Khloe: You re having a girl, but Khloe wasn t convinced and shot back: You're

lying!

The 20-year-old, who recently became a mum to her baby girl Stormi, was adamant and told

her older sister: I'm not lying.

I'm so excited for you Khloe!

Khloe struggled to hide her disappointment and admitted she didn t think she was having

a girl.

She told Kim: I don't feel like I'm having a girl at all.

I'm like in a state of shock.

Khloe later explained how she felt in an emotional chat with the cameras.

She said: When you have your mind made up as to what you're having, like everyone told

me you're going to feel what you're having and you'll just kind of know.

And then when you find out it's the complete opposite it's just a shock.

I just was convinced that I was having a boy, so to be having a girl it's just like, OK

that wasn't what I thought was going on.'

Later in the episode Khloe opened up to her mum Kris Jenner and said she hoped Kylie was

lying.

But Kris had some sobering words, admitting: Khloe, the only thing I wanted in life, the

only thing, was a boy.

Three times, and I got the three of you.

Earlier this week, Khloe's fans became convinced she was having a girl after she wore a bright

pink outfit during a day out in Tokyo.

REVEALED Sheriff Joe Arpaio Releases New Information on Presiden - Duration: 3:22.

REVEALED Sheriff Joe Arpaio Releases New Information on President Obama's True Identity - Video

and Analysis

It can be amazing to see how a news story can be promoted as the most sensational development

in our lifetime when in actuality, it is a nonevent.

On the other hand, it can be equally amazing to see how truly significant social and political

developments can be so thoroughly swept under the rug or written off by the MSM as nonsensical

and insignificant.

We may think back to the time during the 2012 presidential race between Barack Obama and

Mitt Romney, and consider the contrasts of the state of the world between then and now.

If we do, we will likely remember all of the seemingly artificial dramatization that frequently

comes with a presidential race.

When we consider this, we may also recognize the fact that the MSM does not typically represent

political situations accurately, but simply makes efforts to promote division, instigate

drama and boost ratings.

This brings us to one particularly important topic which, due to over-dramatization, was

all but completely ignored, misrepresented, and ultimately dismissed as nonsense by the

MSM.

Recent events have revealed how talented the current (corrupt) corporate media is at spinning

a story in perfect accordance with the latest elitist political agenda.

As we may remember, the aged issue of former President Barack Obama's birth certificate

was a major concern for various people in media and within society.

Even though the original story seemed particularly substantial and concerning, the MSM seemed

to have no interest in promoting Obama as anything by a celebrity and a perfect example

of a President.

As recent history as proven, however, this was far from the truth.

For two terms, the corporate media showed every intention of talking Obama up to be

exemplary in virtually every way.

However, when we take a closer look, we may see alarming inconsistencies.

Despite our own personal opinions of the former President, it is important that we look at

the situation with objectivity and with an open mind--avoiding jumping to conclusions

one way or another.

As we know, it is ultimately when we see validity within the evidence presented that it becomes

necessary for us to fully consider the implications it holds.

With that, here is Sheriff Joe Arpaio and the official analysis of the case of Obama's

certificate of birth.

Of course, we may keep in mind that even though this evidence and the findings thereof may

be concerning, it is very important to consider the entirety of the issues surrounding the

former President.

Among these, very few issues may stand out more than that of Pedogate and the alleged

child trafficking which not only took place continuously during Obama's watch, but which

Obama himself showed close connections with.
