Now as a YouTuber not everyone's gonna like your video and you're gonna get

some hate and everyone's gonna get it it's okay but we always don't know how

to deal with that hate so be sure to watch to the very end of this video

because I'm gonna teach you exactly how you should be dealing with that hate on

YouTube what's going on my name is Devin Street the

author of TubeStarter and today we're gonna be talking about how to deal with

hate on YouTube but if you're not already subscribed go ahead and click

the subscribe button new videos every week showing you how you can grow your

YouTube channel and with that out of the way let's get right into it so

personally I don't get as much hate as some people but I still do get hate

these are usually on my bigger projects like publishing my first book or

releasing the one year motivational video some people just really wanted to

hate on it and why because these things are successful that's one thing you have

to think about if you're getting hate it means you're getting some kind of

success because there wouldn't be really any hate because mostly when people are

hating on your videos they're just jealous so you really should not worry

about that but instead think about some of the benefits you're getting with this

Hey so remember lots of these peoples that

are hating on your videos are actually going through and watching the videos

and disliking the videos that's good that means engagement you're getting

more views more watch time and the light counts as engagement as same as the

dislike does they're exactly the same I have a video in the YouTube card right

now if you want to watch that and he talks about does a like or a dislike

matter more and it'll be really interesting to really understand that

so dislikes are actually good in this situation they don't matter that much

but they're still good so now that we know that this hater is actually helping

you grow let's sort of figure out how to keep them from getting in your head or

messing with you or anything if the hate is getting to you or you

don't want to see the comments they're putting or you

don't want your subscribers and viewers to see the comments they're putting you

can go ahead and hide the comment and what this means is no one will be able

to see it besides them so they're going through and watching all your videos

giving you tons of watch time helping you grow and commenting on your videos

but they're the only ones seeing it and they don't know that no one else is

seeing it and maybe this may eventually maybe get them to leave because they're

just not getting any attention but for the short term it's pretty good and very

helpful for just some nasty stuff you don't want to see but if it's really

really nasty it's very personal to you and you feel like it really shouldn't be

on your channel you can go ahead and block the user this will keep them from

being able to comment on your channel at all it'll keep them from watching your

videos or anything like that so they're gone forever if you block

them and if it's very very bad this is like maybe they're going at like your

race or your gender or your sexuality or something like that then you can

actually report it to YouTube YouTube will see it and they may even ban at the

account from you too this means they won't be able to comment on anybody's

videos they won't be able they'll just lose their account they'll lose all

their subscriptions and everything so it's really helpful for those very very

bad comments what I would say is the last thing you want to do is give them

attention you do not want to give them attention don't respond to them and

don't reply to them unless you've got something really really good as a

comeback I would highly suggest not saying one thing to them and the reason

is is they're most likely commenting for attention and when you reply to that

you're doing exactly what they want it and they're just gonna comment again

they're either gonna reply to you they're gonna go to another video and

put something else horrible and that's the worst thing you can do is actually

try to fight them because there's no way to win

that situation because people are just gonna see this guy hating on your videos

it can hurt your credibility and if you are replying saying bad stuff back then

it really hurts your image so definitely stay away from talking to any haters

that are commenting on your videos and finally success that's the final step

just be successful on YouTube if you're successful on YouTube you're the better

man you have won you have beat them because they're hating on your videos

because they are not successful they are jealous so go ahead and just show them

who's the better person get those more views those more subscribers maybe

you're just at 1 subscriber now we're not even a subscriber and you've got a

video with the 5 views zero likes 3 or 4 dislikes and you're getting this hate

comment that means that you're growing you're getting views that's what matters

and you know you got to look at the difference between constructive

criticism and hate the if this is constructive criticism I would actually

look at it and be like okay they're telling me how I should improve my

channel then if that's the case then go ahead and work on building your channel

if it's hate then just be like I'm growing and show them that you are

eventually gonna be up there as a top youtuber you're gonna have hundreds of

thousands of subscribers just prove them wrong that's really at what it takes at

the end of the day to be hate is to be successful and prove them wrong because

success is the best revenge and every week I shout out a subscriber and this

week it is Gavin color Gavin caller is a younger youtuber

that's been doing some vlogs and he was my five hundred and fortieth subscriber

so shout out to him and if you want a shout out all you have to do is

subscribe to the channel watch all the videos that come out and whenever a

video comes out be sure to go down in the comments below and tell me that you

subscribe to the channel that way I will know

that you are a subscriber that I can shout out I'll go check in my YouTube

dashboard to make sure that you're subscribed and if that's the case then

you will get a shout out and just keep in mind that if you comment on multiple

videos saying that you subbed you will not get a shout out so you only got a

comment once and with that being said I want to thank you for watching the video

and like I said with that success earlier if you really want to succeed on

YouTube then you should consider subscribing to the channel and watching

the videos and learning how to grow I want to thank you for watching and I'll

see you in the next video

direct investment for the fourth year in a row.

The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy says the goal was set late last month at an

inaugural meeting held by its foreign investment committee to foster an environment... friendly

to foreign investment.

The ministry says through its reforms of economic zones and by stepping up its drive for deregulation...

it's expected to help create 10-thousand jobs.

It also expects to attract more investment to new, innovative industries with big growth

potential, including areas of biotech, semiconductors, rechargeable batteries and automobiles.

N. Korea-U.S. talks could fail or bring 'the greatest deal for the world': Trump - Duration: 1:55.

U.S. President Donald Trump appears to confirm that the one-on-one denuclearization talks

with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un will be going ahead, with one precondition -- that

the reclusive state refrains from firing missiles.

The historic talks are expected to be a test of President Trump's skills as a dealmaker.

He says they could result in great things for all parties concerned, but he's also willing

to walk away.

Kim Mok-yeon reports.

Speaking on Saturday, local time, with reporters at a campaign rally for a Republican congressional

candidate in Pennsylvania, President Trump said that his upcoming meeting with North

Korean leader Kim Jong-un could be very fruitful or it could come to nothing.

Edit No6113 "Hey, who knows -- if it happens, if it doesn't

happen, I may leave fast, or I may sit down and make the greatest deal for the world and

for all of these countries...and including North Korea, and that is what I hope happens."

He said that the precondition for meeting is that North Korea should not fire any missiles

in the meantime, and implied he thinks the North actually wants to denuclearize and make

peace.

"They are not sending missiles up, and I believe that, I believe that, I really do.

I think they want to do something, I think they want to make peace, I think it is time."

President Trump also said that many countries have showed support for the historic talks

as well.

In two separate tweets, Trump said that Chinese President Xi Jinping appreciated Washington's

diplomatic efforts, and that Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe was also very enthusiastic

about talks with Pyongyang.

Though the meeting is likely to be held by the end of May, the venue hasn't been decided

yet.

Foreign media including the Washington Post report that the White House is already preparing

for the groundbreaking talks, suggesting a wide array of possible locations including

the U.S., North Korea, the demilitarized zone, or even a third-party country.

She might get shocked.

What do I do? I'm so nervous.

Look at her face.

Lani.

Is that you? Is it?

(The power of genes is amazing.)

Hold on. Lani, close your eyes.

This won't work. My goodness.

Is that you? Lani, who is this?

- Lani. / - Your daughter.

Is that her daughter? Not her, but her daughter?

Oh, my goodness.

It really is "Oh, my".

When you came to visit,

Did you bring present for Hajun?

(Ta-da!)

What is it?

Hajun.

Look at Lani.

Lani.

(It's very pink and full of lace.)

(Is that for Hajun?)

Is that really for Hajun?

Hajun.

- You're like Mom. / - You're like me.

- Thank you. / - It's a princess shirt.

(Hajun likes it.)

Since she's a girl, we only have girl clothes.

Do you want to try it?

- Do you want to try? / - She'll help you.

- Good boy. / - Good job.

Is he a boy or a girl?

- You're so pretty. / - I'll hold you.

(This bonnet will look good on him.)

(This skirt goes well with the pink shirt.)

I wore it when I was a baby.

Yes, and you're giving it to Hajun now.

Hajun is a princess now.

Who is this?

I can't tell if you're Hajun.

He looks so cute.

He looks like a girl.

I can't believe you're looking after

- Hajun alone. / - Look.

Look.

- Oh, my! / - Oh, my.

Back in our days, we shared clothes.

- No way. / - Here, try this.

Lani, can I give this to Hajun?

It's too big for Hajun.

- Is it too big? / - Is it too big?

Can I wear it?

- Do you want to wear it? / - Okay.

What is this? Is this a mermaid dress?

Are you a mermaid?

Are you sure this is yours?

(Tight)

I don't think it fits you.

Are you sure you can wear it?

How are you so similar to when Yoonji was small?

(Slapping)

- I said, stop it. / - No, this.

- She wants to wear it. / - Do you mean her size?

No, her will.

Her will?

(She looks so cute.)

Gosh, you're so cute, Lani.

Who is that?

Lani, let's show him.

Uncle, here are my cute eyes.

(Cute eye attack)

(I'm lost for words.)

That's amazing.

Hajun.

Peek-a-boo.

(I'm sleepy.)

Does he have to eat?

Lani is even taking care of Hajun's meal too.

(Lani will feed Hajun.)

Thanks to Lani, Hajun is in dreamland.

I'm hungry.

Is that so?

Are you hungry?

- Are you hungry? / - Yes.

Does Lani eat adult food?

Of course. She eats normal food now.

Can she eat red foods?

- Only if it's slightly red. / - That's great.

Are you eating?

What are these, Lani?

You said they are tree ear mushrooms.

Yes, that's right.

You're good.

(She is devoted to her food.)

(Skillful)

(Even before she finishes chewing...)

Your uncle is a good cook, isn't he?

- Right? / - Of course.

(She's eating all of the japchae.)

You should put it in your mouth.

Is it good?

(Lani is a great eater.)

- Mom, try it. / - I'll have it.

I'll eat too.

You can eat kimchi too, can't you?

(Lani can eat kimchi.)

Kimchi is spicy.

This one is white.

It's not spicy.

(It's not spicy?)

(The white kimchi is disappearing.)

She eats more than I thought.

- What is this? / - "What is this?"

Cut it for me.

Cut it? Try cutting it with your teeth.

- With scissors. / - With scissors?

(Here comes Uncle Hyunbin)

- Can you cut it? / - Cut what?

- Cut this? / - Yes.

Oh, you want me to cut this one strand?

It's done.

(Coughing)

Do you want water?

(Hyunbin is busy looking after the ladies.)

He became really sweet, didn't he?

(He's the best.)

Yoonji. You even work…

(He's trying to take a break.)

(Crying)

He's up.

(Hajun is up.)

Hajun.

Don't cry.

- You're finished, right? / - No.

- You're not? / - You're done.

- You're done. / - You ate it all.

(Lani is sitting back at the table.)

Do you still want to eat more?

My father-in-law asked me

who she takes after since she eats a lot.

(Grabbing)

While I was eating...

What are you doing?

(Lani is bringing Hyunbin a bowl.)

- Are you asking for more? / - Yes.

You brought the food earlier.

- You brought this. / - She knows I live here.

Yes, of course.

You're so smart.

How did you know?

What should we eat after dinner?

- De... / - Dessert!

(Let's eat dessert.)

I got this.

What did you get?

(What did you bring?)

You have Korean snacks and tangerines.

Hajun, you too.

(I want some too.)

What is that?

No.

Lani, you have to share.

He can't eat it yet.

He doesn't have teeth.

Who is this?

She says he can't eat it since he has no teeth.

She has it hidden between her legs.

(Fussing)

(Hajun wants tangerines.)

Yes, he wants tangerines.

Lani, let's give him a tangerine.

Do you want to try it?

Hajun, do you want to try this little piece?

Will your mom get mad?

I'm peeling.

I think I saw her blend fruits.

Fruits like apple are too hard to eat.

They need to be blended.

- I'm peeling. / - You're really good.

I'm peeling.

- Goodness. / - Ta-da.

Thank you. Can you take a piece off for me?

(She splits it in half.)

Just one.

- She's amazing. / - She wants the big one.

Thank you.

(Please give me one.)

Do you want to eat it?

I'll give it to you. Hold on.

Moms say this...

She'll give it to you.

(It's Hajun's first time eating a tangerine.)

(Sucking)

What is that?

It must be tasty.

(What is this taste?)

- He looks like fish. / - He's so cute.

(He's drawn to the sour taste.)

I remember her younger days.

Is it good? Is it that good?

(Giggling)

Look at him.

Lani.

You will get along with Hajun later, won't you?

(Are you leaving already?)

(I'll come visit again, so don't cry.)

Don't cry. Give him a hug.

Good boy.

Pretty. Pretty.

- I'll get going. / - Okay.

Goodnight.

Bye.

Bye, Hajun.

(Please visit again soon.)

Having her there to hold Hajun

for even a minute made it easier.

I realized that my wife

is going through a lot of trouble.

Even when I'm tired after work,

I'll try my best to help out more.

Researchers develop touchscreen technology by using paper and pencil - Duration: 1:30.

Korean researchers have developed new techology that could lower costs in making touchscreens.

That's because, they say, it basically uses two simple components -- pencil and paper.

This new kind of sensor has the potential to be used in a range of products, like wearable

devices.

Cho Sung-min reports.

Korean researchers have recently found a way to make touchscreens using just pencil and

paper.

The research team at Yonsei University say, as evidenced by the required materials, that

the process is very simple and cost-effective.

They say the key is the graphite in the pencil, which conducts electricity around the paper's

surface.

They used that mechanism to make a paper-based keyboard, using a pencil to draw the kind

of electrical circuits a real keyboard would have.

"The paper was made with special fibers so that it can endure the friction created when

written on with a pencil.

Thanks to this, the paper doesn't require semiconductor processing to be made touch-sensitive."

Once the paper keyboard has been coated with an electrical insulator, the final process,...

you can type on it, just like on a computer.

It can make capital and lowercase letters depending on how hard the keys are pressed.

The team are on a mission to prepare for the 4th Industrial Revolution, and they're now

conducting further research to apply this method of touch sensitivity to other devices

in the near future.

Networking as an Introvert: The Ultimate Guide - Duration: 4:06.

Networking as an Introvert, The Ultimate Guide

Networking for introverts seems dreary and painful.

That makes sense because networking actually involves talking to people both directly and

indirectly.

Fortunately, there are some strategies that will make introverts networking seamless.

In this video, I'm going to share with you some networking tips as an introvert.

If you find this information is helpful to you, make sure to like this video and subscribe

to this channel, so you won't miss any of our interesting updates in the future!

#1 - Rethinking the challenge

First of all, it is possible for introverts to create good network of professional and

important people.

Introverts are highly capable in making connection through their thoughts, creative ideas, and

focus.

One thing that should be noted is that introverts may take longer for doing this job because

they need longer breaks for recharging themselves.

#2 - Be selective

There are some good criteria to make your introversion networking work.

First of all, it is the relevance which actually means relation between what you are doing

and they are doing.

The next thing is face-to-face component.

However, it should be added that the person should be happy to see the introverts.

The introverts also demand people who are excited to discuss the matter.

Lastly, that networking partner must be available at convenient times.

#3 - Planning ahead

Introverts will be overwhelmed in any big events where crowds gather.

Overwhelmed, the introverts usually end up meeting old friends instead of making new

network.

This should not happen if you plan it first.

You should know what they are going to discuss and who are going to discuss it.

You also need to reach the key speakers or people involved in the event, allowing you

to test the water before the real deal.

#4 - Don't fake it

Some people think that faking your introversion is good idea because it lets you talk to others.

However, you shouldn't.

Instead, meet one or two people to talk to, have quality chats with them, getting their

card names, and go back to your hotel room.

That way, this enables you to get acquaintance without draining yourself.

#5 - Partner up

It is a smart strategy that any introverts can do.

The main requirement is that the introvert must have at least one extrovert partner.

This partner will be the bridge between the introvert and other people in a conference

or a meeting.

This partner will make sure the conversation runs smoothly and fun.

Therefore, it is a great way to keep everything in a good pace.

There is one thing that you should make sure.

It is all about how your friend engages with others.

Sometimes, even extroverted people cannot engage with others easily because they don't

know the topic that people will bring.

Therefore, be sure to be selective in bringing your partner.

#6 - Drawing attention

Yes, you should be the central of attention somehow, but it is not like the introverts

do.

You only need to wear something iconic or distinctive such as black fedora, special

pins, or anything that can provoke questions.

This allows other people to relate and ask questions.

Stories can start from there, and relationship can start from there too as consequence.

It is the best thing that you can do, and this can be done without a help of partner.

Well, I think that's all the most useful networking tips for an introvert.

Really cool information isn't it?

I hope you enjoy this short video, if you have something on your mind, please share

your thoughts and experiences in the comments below!

S. Korea to take U.S. 'safeguards' dispute to WTO - Duration: 0:50.

Earlier this year, the U.S. imposed so-called safeguard duties on imported Korean washing

machines and solar panels.

The deadline has passed for the U.S. to change the safeguards, so now Korea is going to take

the issue to the World Trade Organization for arbitration.

The duties were signed by President Trump in January.

Since then, Seoul has asked Washington to retract them or provide compensation for the

Korean industries affected, arguing that the measures are excessive and go against WTO

regulations.

But a Korean trade ministry official said Sunday that for all practical purposes, talks

on the issue are over.

The ministry said if the WTO rules in Korea's favor and the U.S. does not respect the ruling,

then it will impose retaliatory measures on American goods.

Book Review | Lily and the Octopus - Duration: 7:39.

Hey! What's up, you guys? It's Connor, and today I'm gonna be doing a book review for

Lily and the Octopus by Steven Rowley. If you guys don't know. Lily and the

Octopus follows a guy named Ted, and Ted is a little bit down and out.

He and his partner are no longer together, and he spends all of his time

with his dog Lily. They have game nights, and they watch TV

together. And they have a schedule that every Thursday they talk about boys, and

they discuss which Bradley is better than this other Bradley. And they

basically just compare celebrities against each other and talk about how

cute they are. It all changes when one day Ted notices that Lily has a growth

that is growing above one of her eyes and he immediately identifies it as an

octopus. It follows him, Lily, and the octopus throughout this story. So it is a

part of that whole genre of heartbreaking dog book. If that is

something that is gonna really affect you, know that going in.

As usual with my book reviews, I'm gonna go through my pros, go through my cons,

give you my rating, and be done. My first pro for this book is that I had no idea

that the main character Ted is actually gay. I don't know how I didn't know that

this was an LGBT+ book, but it is. It is also an own-voices so Stephen Rowley is gay

himself. I really love Ted and Lily's relationship, and there are so many

references towards the very beginning of the book that were cracking me up so

much. Ted is a very sassy character, and he gives a lot of people a lot of shit

all the time especially his therapist. Admittedly some of the references went

over my head like I had no idea what they were talking about, but some of them

were cracking me up. So I thought that it was hilarious.

I've read this as an audiobook so I can't really talk about how the writing

read for me, but the narrator of the audiobook was spot-on. He does Ted's

sassy comeback, smart-aleck attitude extremely well, and it comes across

perfectly. I can totally picture Ted in my mind and picture how he interacts

with Lily and how he interacts with the people around him. I liked that Lily

"speaks" in this book to Ted. It's one of those things where if you have a dog, you

understand when your dog comes up to you and he gives you a certain look, you know

exactly what the dog is wanting. Like, when Nook comes up to me and he wants

water, he'll just lick the air while looking at me, and I'm like,

"Okay, he needs water." Or if he's hungry, I know exactly the type of look that he

gives me for that, or if he has to go outside, I know the looks for that. So

Lily and Ted have conversations all the time. Ted is really attuned to Lily. He's

able to understand exactly what she's thinking, and he also puts thoughts into

her head because obviously a dog is not going to be talking about how cute some

celebrity guy is. But it was funny to see them interact, and I really enjoyed that

part of the story because Lily's voice is kind of Ted's conscience basically.

Lily is like the Jimmy Cricket character for Ted if Ted was Pinocchio. I thought

that with Lily being able to speak in this book that it could have gone on

some shaky ground, but he does a really good job of having Lily have an infinite

amount of love for Ted but then also an appropriately short attention span.

Lily loses track of conversations, and she stops paying attention to whatever

Ted is doing a lot. And I thought that was hilarious because that's how dogs

are in real life. I thought that Ted and Lily's relationship was very relatable

because I basically spend all my time with Nook. And I don't really spend that much

time with anyone else. And there's only a few people that I actually spend time

with almost as much as I spend with Nook. I just can relate to wanting to spend

more time with dogs and less time with humans. The quirks of owning a dog were

just spot-on: how Ted basically adjusts everything in his life slowly step by

step to cater to Lily and cater to Lily and Ted's life together as opposed to Ted

having a life and Lily being in it. It became Lily and Ted's life... and this

octopus. It was emotional like I thought it would be, but a pro for me was that it

didn't just end as a devastating book. There is a little bit of an uplift

towards the end of the novel, so you're not just devastated and then left to be

sad. You are given a little bit of hope at the very end which keeps you going

throughout your day. I mean, don't get me wrong, I love soul-crushing books, but

sometimes it's better to not be completely crushed and laying on the

ground after you finish a book. Now I'm going to talk about a couple of cons

that I had. There's a weird section in the middle of this book that is

completely unnecessary. Ted decides to start hunting down the

octopus that is on Lily's head. I don't know if it's just a break with reality

or something like that because it was super freaking weird. and it didn't

really do anything for the story. He just kind of exits his life for a little bit,

and then nothing really comes from this exit. And then he has to jump back into

his life, so I don't know what that was about. It could have been [that] you can try to

get away from your life, but you really can't get away from things that you have

to deal with., and you are pulled back to reality. I don't know, but it was

really weird. And I didn't really like that part. I also thought that Ted hung

on to this octopus concept for way too long, and it was used a lot... basically the

entire book. Everyone knows it's a tumor. Everyone knows that Lily has this tumor

on her head. He just keeps calling it an octopus, and it continues for so long!

I'm like, stop! Just deal with the tumor already, and just call it a tumor!

Ahh! I understand why you wouldn't want to accept that your dog has a tumor.I

luckily - knock on wood - haven't had no deal with anything like

that yet. He's only three and a little bit, but I don't think that you would

deny it for so long.It takes a very, very long time, and I just didn't appreciate

how long and how stubborn he is about calling it a freakin octopus! A little con

was that I think that the therapist could have been portrayed better. I don't

know. I mean, there are bad therapists don't get me wrong, but I think that it's

important to portray good therapists in fiction as well so that people that do

need them feel more comfortable going to a therapist and talking with them. In

this book he completely discounts this therapist and doesn't really participate

in anything she has to sa.yYyou know he likes going and he likes ranting about

his life. He likes being forced to tear down some of these walls and get

some things off his chest, but he makes fun of her the whole time. I don't know. I

didn't love it that much. As I said, it was a small con, but it did affect my

reading experience just a little bit. And my last con was I thought that this book

was a little bit too long. It's not actually that long of a book, but at

around 70%, I just wanted it to be over. That could have been because of this

holding on to the octopus word, and I was just getting fed up with it. I

think this book could have been a little shorter and just as impactful. There

seemed to be a little bit too much extra just fluff. I would have rathered the story

focus in on Ted and Lily and what was happening as a direct result of Lily

having this octopus. Overall I did really enjoy my experience while reading this

novel. I ended up giving this book three-and-a-half stars, and I definitely

recommend it for dog people and people that enjoy very sassy quick-witted

characters because that's definitely what Ted is. And obviously if you like

dogs, you're probably gonna like this book as

well. I do recommend it. So that's gonna be my review of Lily and Octopus by Steven

Rowley. If you liked it, please give it a big thumbs up and comment down below if

you've read this book. Have you read any other dog books that you would recommend

to me? I think the next one I'm gonna check out is The Art of Racing in the

Rain, I believe is the title of it. If you want to check out any of the other dog

book reviews that I've done, I'll leave them down in a playlist in the

description, and anything else you want me to know, leave it down below. I will

talk to you guys next time. Bye! <finger gun and click noise>
