Gauss the person that we broke the story we might kind of confirmed it before it

came out is the most interesting person in the show and he's going to be vital

to taking down the vote because the bit where they spoke about des Vosges lair

being enabled now you don't that's exactly what it looks like when the vote

disappears that is the warping signature of someone moving into pocket dimension

does someone want to explain what that means

region-specific fold in this space-time to exist between the four dimensions

so in episode 17 it's called no an annoy you know this is serious you got an odd

way of showing just that anytime that I'm afraid

Before I get any jimmies rustled.

Relax.

Pokemon for Switch will be huge regardless.

I will play Pokemon Switch regardless.

HOWEVER!

That fact will not stop me from speculating about the game, or suggesting ideas, or extrapolating

possible meanings of rumors.

This won't be a video where I try to address what EVERYONE wants.

These are ideas that *I* have.

You know.

The standard YouTube stuff.

So, if you just want to sit under a rock or be stuck in your personal echo chamber until

the game comes out, be my guest if you wanna have some fun let's talk new ideas.

Feel free to post what you think alongside your own ideas in the comments, but, respectfully.

Contrary to what many people think based solely on the title and thumbnail of my last video

about this game, Pokemon for Switch is my most anticipated game.

Even more than whatever Smash ends up being on Switch.

Hell, it's my most anticipated game on ANY platform.

The reason for that is a lifelong fandom that has evolved (No.

That's not an intenional pun & i hate myself for presenting the possibility.

I sincerely apologize.)

Anywho, that excitement is admittedly largely thanks to me being a lifelong Pokemon fan

that has stuck around consistently throughout its life.

Loving the old while also embracing it's new titles every step of the way.

This, however, seems to be VERY unusual.

If statistics mean anything, Pokemon largely fell from grace after the 1st generation.

Of course, that's not to say it completely died.

Many new fans kept the series alive with high sales, albeit not the peak levels of sales

that were reached in the 1st generation which nearly double the numbers of the latest generation

of games in sales.

& who can forget the meteoric success that came with Pokemon Go's return to the original

generation?

Kanto is a common ground for the Pokemon fanbase.

Whether you are a hardcore fan, a casual fan, or a lapsed fan you have touchstones with

the franchise that are at the very least rooted in the first generation of games.

Pokemon Company & Game Freak would be smart to take advantage of this for the series introduction

to the Switch.

Before you make the comment, just know, I am WELL aware that this isn't what a lot

of the Pokemon community wants, I know that many hate the idea of pandering to genwunners,

but, you can't in good conscience deny the power of that lapsed fanbase.

Winning them back could be pretty big for the success of Pokemon on console.

This could even be the way to ween many of them into growing to love the new generations

off Pokemon like many of us do.

Again, Pokemon Go is a decent case study of this idea.

They dropped the ball on the pacing, but, I personally know a fair amount of Pokemon

fans that came for the gen one Pokemon and have grown to love some of the newer ones

thanks to that game.

Imagine a game that's actually good at integrating the old with the new from the day its released.

Pokemon Company and more specifically Nintendo is going to want to take advantage of the

same latent hype that Pokemon Go took advantage of.

That's going to mean a heavy focus on Gen 1.

Does that mean we'll get a Pokemon Fire Red type game?

Well, maybe, but, I don't think that's the only way they could go about doing this.

I think people put a lot of stock in the idea that everything will always be the way it's

been in the past and that it's completely impossible for Game Freak to kill 2 birds

with one stone.

WHAT IF, Game Freak used one big question mark many have had to solve this mystery?

What I mean by that is, there doesn't seem to be many people questioning whether or not

we'll have the traditional 2 version generation when it comes to Pokemon for Nintendo Switch.

WHAT IF, Pokemon for Switch turns out to be about the dichotomy between the fans of the

old and the new.

What if Pokemon for Switch has 2 entries that mirror each other in region?

What if we have the option between buying a game that we start in a new region OR beginning

with what we know?

Nintendo toyed with a similar idea of diverging versions with Fire Emblem Fates.

What if Pokemon Switch had a similar model wherein after creating your trainer (yes I

said CREATING your trainer.

Go deeper than skin color please and thank you, but, that's another video altogether.)

I digress, BACK ON TRACK!

After creating your trainer you're prompted to choose between beginning your journey in

your hometown of Kanto (cause of course Kanto is your hometown.)

OR moving to start your adult life at the ripe age of ten in a region you've never

seen before.

All jokes aside this could be represented in every aspect of the game with the plot

of the game surrounding the idea of tradition versus modernity.

Something that Black & White flirted with but never fully explored.

It's true to real life and an evil team that forces the inverse form of life on the

main character I think could be interesting.

Especially if they make it into a culmination of all teams with different aspects of each

team like the picking a side aspect of Team Aqua and Magma, the more deep dives into lore

from Diamond and Pearl, or… whatever X& Y was trying to accomplish...

Aside from being what I think is a good way to meet everybody in the middle with the setting

of the game (except for the gen 4 crowd, but, I'll get to that) & the plot and gameplay

aspects of the game that could come with it.

This would have a few other positive side effects.

The first of which being a financial one for Nintendo, Game Freak, and Pokemon Company.

As it stands Pokemon generations have the potential gross $40 per game sold.

Frequently this means 2 games per consumer.

That's not to say EVERY consumer buys both entries, but, they do have a notable 2 to

1 ratio for many of the games they sell.

The amount of people double dipping on Pokemon for Switch versions would undoubtedly drop

with the inevitable $20 raise in price.

How could they solve this?

By presenting the chance to save on buying them in bulk through a digital purchase of

the inverse version's content on the eShop.

How deep this discount could very but if I were a betting man I'd say something like

this would be no more than $30.

This would still raise the overall price of the combo by $10, but, I think this will be

a welcome change considering the alternatives are 2 less ambitious titles with nothing more

than maybe a higher resolution, or 2 $60 purchases with all of the bells and whistles many of

us want to see on a full on console release.

$120 is a hard pill to swallow though.

I'D even hesitate… key word… hesitate… cause… pokemon….

With this new model being established I think that would open up Game Freak to introducing

more regions and story content for additional purchase and as long as it's built in the

same games engine it should be pretty easy for them to implement.

WHICH, I think is a good way for us to see the Gen 4 remakes.

These I think will be slightly more expensive than the initial extra content purchases since

they'll definitely require more legwork.

This model again I think will make it possible for them to convert more players.

Remasters tend to underperform in comparison to the full on game, but I'd imagine if

you put the remakes inside a game most already own rather than requiring a full new purchase

you'd get a lot more crossover.

Cause, people are lazy.

Or have less self control if you take care of the heavy lifting, whichever sounds better

I guess.

Also, this additional purchase being made through the eShop could ensure that Game Freak

wouldn't miss put on much money, if any at all.

The only major concern I could see with this is forcing people to install these new games

with Switch's limited flash storage.

I think an option for a physical release with some additional content on cart (content that's

unlockable through other means for other players of course because people hate not having with

the other kid has.)

From everything we've heard about this game it seems like Pokemon for Switch will be changing

up a lot of what we know.

We already talked about the chance of a new battle system.

That change is pretty divisive.

But, I think changing up the way they distribute the Pokemon versions is a particularly interesting

one that I don't THINK will rile too many people up, but, I've been wrong about what

makes people angry over a game before.

You gotta give credit where credit is due, though.

meeting everyone in the middle is the smartest move to make for a franchise that spans as

many literal generations as Pokemon.

So many people want so many different things.

What better way is there to satiate everyone than to make the next game semi modular in

a sense?

We could even see mini releases like the Orange or Sevii Islands for a cheaper price.

BUT those are MY thoughts.

Success Shortie: Other Ways to Ask for Results You Want - Duration: 1:36.

Hi everybody! Michelle here. I'm back to

tell you more about how to get the

results you're looking for! In the last

video, we talked about how to make it

easy to "make an ask", and we talked about

the opt-out ask... making it as easy to say

'no' as it is to say 'yes'. I want to give

you a couple other ways to get the

results...

First, we have the convenient 'ask'... making

it really accommodating for the other

person.

"Oh I can come to your office or what

time is good for you"... "Whatever fits into

your schedule works for me..."

We have the 'alternate ask': would you like

to do this or that... and you give them

options for them to choose: what's most

comfortable for them?

One of my favorites is the 'shrinking ask'-

make the a smaller every time you make

it... and at some point 'yes' will come a

little easier.

So "Hey let's have lunch!" if not, have a

cup of coffee if you were too busy for

live, let's just do a call or a Skype!

Shrink it down and increase the odds. And

here's my new favorite the 'non ask'. We're

not actually asking for anything, we

might just be sharing our goals or

seeking some advice.

"Hey I'm looking to make my book a

best-seller, what ideas do you have?"

or "Hey this is the thing I'm working on this year,

this is my goal." And sometimes

if somebody is related to that industry,

they may have an idea that you wouldn't

even know to ask for!

So just share, talk, and see what happens.

Shane McMahon KO'd Even though international Beat Up Your Boss

day is tomorrow - as the 16th March is the date 3/16 - Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn got

in on the festivities early: making SmackDown LIVE Commissioner Shane McMahon weirdly squeal

like a pig after powerbombing him on a metal rack.

And the two continued their celebrations on Twitter:

"Hey, so that was fun!"

"If you've never beaten up your boss, you should totally try it.

I did it and it was amazing."

WWE.com have followed up the injury angle with an update on Shane's condition, revealing

McMahon suffered a "laryngeal contusion", and "trapezius and rhomboid strains".

He is "currently being evaluated to make sure his airway is not compromised" - like

your mum's.

Raw & SmackDown Ratings But beating up Shane McMahon equals ratings,

with Tuesday's post-Fastlane episode of SmackDown drawing an impressive 2.77 million

viewers - up six percent from the previous week, and the highest rated show in almost

a year, since last April's Superstar Shake-Up.

It was good news for Monday Night Raw, too, which averaged 3.35 million viewers - the

best number since January's post-Royal Rumble episode.

The Road to WrestleMania typically has WWE's best ratings of the year, as the promotion

builds to their biggest annual event.

But up until now, there's reportedly been apprehension backstage over WrestleMania 34's

main event.

WrestleMania 34 Backstage Update Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns for the Universal

Championship has been built for over a year, but events over the last month have caused

concern amongst officials.

Lesnar's contract expires at Mania, upon which WWE reportedly believe he'll return

to UFC.

Reigns, meanwhile, has been accused in a bizarre steroid scandal with jailed dealer Richard

Rodriguez.

These various controversies are reportedly why WWE have held off on booking Braun Strowman's

WrestleMania match, as he was to be the main event's backup in case Lesnar or Reigns

had to be swapped out last minute.

With Strowman becoming the No. 1 contender to The Bar's tag team championships on this

week's Raw, however, Dave Meltzer writes that WWE are now fully behind Lesnar vs Reigns

for the main event of WrestleMania 34.

But that doesn't mean Roman's steroid controversy has gone away completely.

Roman Reigns Accusation Update The allegations stem from filmmaker Jon Bravo's

YouTube interviews with Rodriguez, where the jailed steroid dealer accused Reigns and actors

Mark Wahlberg and Josh Duhamel of purchasing performance enhancing from him.

All three men have denied this, with Roman going so far to say he's "never heard

of Richard Rodriguez."

Bravo has teased releasing further evidence to back up these claims for weeks - but the

only piece of note was a SnapChat post allegedly revealing former WWE wrestler Luther Reigns

as a client of Rodriguez.

Luther Reigns is, of course, a different person to Roman Reigns, and many sites reported Bravo

had just gotten the current top babyface in WWE confused with the former WWE under-carder

who hasn't wrestled since 2005.
