Yes folks, today our guest is Pod system named Vladdin. It's made by Vladdin Vapor which is based in China
Yes, everything is made in China, we all know that
Overall it's a Pod system, in Russia this system is often called Thermometer
This device have a fixed battery with small mAh capacity and removable cartridge. Cartridges can be with refill option and without it as well like in this case
Also this Pod system can be charged via USB.Small Pod system you can throw in your pocket and it will not disturb you
Most of such devices are come filled with liquid with salt nicotine
In the beginning I asked you to leave a comment with your thoughts about salt nicotine. I'm cautious about salt nicotine, because at the moment I don't trust it
But we'll see what will be in the future
Anyway, today we're not going to talk about salt nicotine, today we're going to talk about Pod system which delivers vapor into your lungs
Small Pod system. Vladdin. Let's dive down
Okay, friends. Let's unbox these two packages we have here
In here we have starter kit itself and over here we have 4 cartridges
On the package, in this corner, we have a sticker which says that inside we have a cartridge with salt nicotine and liquid named Northern
Logo of the manufacturer and logo of the device. Here we have a list of features, nicotine strength and warning regarding the nicotine itself
On this side we have a description of kit contents and certificates
On this side we have ingredients description in different languages and manufacturer information
Logos, cover and so on. Let's open it
I forgot that microphone is supposed to be closer
Inside we have User manual, it's more of a warning regarding the nicotine. In here everything is written in detail. The font is very small, but manual is detailed.
In here we have a User manual itself and warnings on the opposite side
In the kit we have a spare cartridge, the device with fixed battery itself and Micro USB - USB cable for charging
Okay. A package with cartridges. As you can see there is cartridges with different colors caps which indicates the flavor inside
Also the nicotine strength and name of the liquid, nicotine strength. Also it's written that there is 4 Pods inside 1.5ml each, a warning regarding nicotine
And on this side we have ingredients description
The pack is look like so. It's pill-like and opens from the rear side where we have a foil. And this cartridge was being used during I tested this device
As you can see in the kit we have exact the same one, but it's sealed. Let's move on
Cartridges looks exactly the same, no matter what liquid is inside them. They only distinguished by that colored plastic cap. By removing this cap you are able to use cartridge with this device
Okay, let's bring the technical specs. This device is made of zinc alloy and available only in black color. This Pod system is equipped with fixed 350mAh capacity battery with charge indication
It can be charged via USB and it have automatic voltage delivery while inhaling. It works with non-rebuildable cartridges without fill option
The cartridge capacity is 1.5ml, as i said before, and as many other Pod systems it utilizes liquid with salt nicotine - there's 18mg and 50mg nicotine strength available.
At the moment manufacturer offers 4 types of tobacco flavor liquid - Northern Tobacco with the flavor of white Canadian tobacco
VCT Tobacco - tobacco flavor with Vanilla notes
Ice Tobacco - a tobacco flavor with Caramel, Vanilla and a little bit of cooler
And Mint Tobacco - a tobacco flavor with mint
That was technical specs and we're getting to detailed look
Top part of the cartridge is made out of black plastic. It have rounded corners. It's very comfortable to use this mouthpiece
There's a small hole for getting vapor and two dots. I don't know what's their purpose, but I guess they're necessary for assembling
Lower we have plastic piece as well, it's transparent and though this you can observe the level of remaining liquid
In the middle is seen plastic tube - it's a shaft for vapor and inside of it is a condensate already
On the bottom we have 2 contacts for connection with device
Obviously, we can disassemble this cartridge but it's not intended by manufacturer. There is a two holes and clips inside them to remove the bottom part
For the most curious of you I disassembled it and, I must say, it's very inconvenient thing to do, besides the fact it's not intended by the manufacturer
Pay attention - inside we have a small amount of material - most likely it's some sort of cotton - it's very thin, which is blocking the holes for saturating the coil
And inside we have a rubber insulator and ceramic coil, which is being saturated and after produces the vapor
You are unable to rebuild this, since everything is connected and soldered, and the coil itself is sitting inside the ceramics
So friends, it's very hard to maintain this cartridge, it's very hard to even refill it, since after this you will have to wick it correctly so the ceramic coil would be saturated well
Of course, we're not even speaking about rebulduing the coil. Overall, this kind of story we have with this
But let's move on. That's the base with fixed 350mAh capacity battery and in this base you will be inserting the cartridges. It have battery life indication and the name of device
On the bottom we have a MicroUSB slot for charging and, I should say, pretty sharp metal edges. Yeah, in the center we have a plastic, and outside is metal
This side is blank and inside we have a contact group
And one nuance I wanted to draw your attention to - after you inserted the cartridge it slightly plays inside - it holds badly, though inside we have a magnets that supposed to hold it - it held hesitantly
For understanding the size I've putted the 18650 battery
So friends, i guess it's all i could tell you about this device. Let's get back to face-time and speak of pros and cons of this device

That's the one of the factors why I don't like the salt nicotine
Me personally coughing because of it. I don't know how you will react, but I'm coughing
Maybe all depends on the habit - you need to get used to everything, so right now I'm cautious about salt nicotine
But let's talk about pros and cons of this device. And as always we start with cons
Guys, I know that in the world is being released a whole lot of various Pod systems with different features, with refill options and so on
There's even a kits with two devices - you vape one while second is charging
In this case - it is closed Pod system with no refill option, so the first con i'll give to this device is for it being totally not rebuildable at any capacity
You are unable to fill it with your own liquid and continue to vape on the coil which is still intact
Next con to this device I'll give for sharp edges on the bottom - you will feel them.
I would recommend to manufacturer to round those edges - on the top we have rounded edges and on the bottom it's sharp. It's not cool, not comfortable and not convenient
Another con i'll give for the fact, that cartridge plays inside. Yes, it's fixates by magnets, but it plays and when you use it you can feel that plays.
And last thing I wanted to discuss, it might not even be a con - there's no information about manufacturer of the liquid
Nothing and nowhere, not a word. The only thing that is written about the liquid is flavor descriptions, but there's no information about manufacturer
If something happens - who should I contact with? I guess with the manufacturer of this device
I believe, that there's should be detailed information regarding the liquid and everything else that is used in the device. in User manual I didn't find that information

We're done with the cons. Let's speak about pros
First pro to this device I'll give for compact size. Yes, this is a small and compact device, which perfectly lays in the pocket
And you don't feel it while it's with you
Another pro I'll give for stylish appearance. It looks non-banally, if i may say, all these curves and stuff looks cool. So it's a pro
Next pro to this device I'll give for pass-through option. So when you can use it while charging. It's convenient, it's autonomous, it's a pro
Overall this device is doing its job, it, I might say, quenches your thirst for nicotine
Because salt nicotine is way stronger. As I said - this liquids nicotine strength is 18mg and it's salt nicotine
It's enough only few puffs to feel that nicotine hunger is gone. So it's kinda both - and a pro and a con
But as i said - today I won't discuss salt nicotine. So let's move on and taste the flavor
Yeah, I forgot to mention another pro - it's MTL
I missed the main point
It's MTL draw. Mouth to lungs. It gives similar feelings as if you smoking
And for people who want to quit smoking such Pod systems are not a bad option and overall suits for the task well
But as I said, we're testing flavors. First flavor that I tested many times already is White Canadian Tobacco(Northern)
I don't know the flavor of White Canadian Tobacco, but it delivers the flavor
The flavor could be better if they've implemented horizontal coil. Because in here we have a vertical coil, and I don't like vertical coils
Overall, regarding the flavor - I can feel the flavor, I can taste the tobacco, though I can't say it's somewhere near the flavor on RTAs
So, the flavor is there and it's good. It's not the empty vapor
Next flavor we're going to test is VCT tobacco. Vanilla Custard Tobacco
You know, this flavor is interesting and pleasant. Vanilla tastes strong, tobacco flavor is somewhere in the second row. But still good, I like it more than previous one
Next flavor have this blue cap and called Ice Tobacco - vanilla, caramel and ice flavors
Let's taste it
I can say this flavor is reminds me of cigar
It's a cigar flavor with adding of cooler, and I guess in here we have a little bit of menthol. I can't feel or taste claimed vanilla or caramel, but I taste cigar/tobacco flavor with a little bit of menthol
Also I can taste a little bit of cooler which is cooling your mouth. Kinda cool flavor
Yeah, pretty nice
And last flavor is Mint tobacco. The name is self-explanatory - it's a mint with tobacco. Let's test if it's gonna be different from previous one
You know, in previous flavor I tasted more menthol. Same nice cooling, tobacco in the second row, I feel mint is dominating in this flavor and the flavor, overall is not bad
And, I think, I've made my own Top
And most of all I like these two flavors - VCT Tobacco and Ice Tobacco
I think I will slowly vape them to the end, and maybe rethink my attitude towards salt nicotine
So these two flavors are in my Top. Northern is too usual for me - usual tobacco flavor and I guess i get used to more various flavors.
But this flavor is better suits to the people who wants to quit smoking
And last flavor, Mint Tobacco - I don't like menthol flavors that much. So that's it
It whistles a little bit, sounds like a mouse
It's time to summarize, so let's talk about the price
You can purchase this device on the ave40.com and the price for a starter kit with one spare cartridge with tobacco flavor is 36.9$
Two cartridges with same flavor will cost you 15.9$
And a pack of all these flavors is gonna cost you a 26.9$
Regarding the price - 36.9$ - I've browsed through different online stores and compared the prices, and it's average price for such a Pod system device.
Yes, there's more expensive ones, there's way more cheaper ones - twice as cheap, but the price of this one is average
So this device hits average price category and I guess it's good for it, because there's whole lot of such devices on the market
The design have similarities with others, though they all differs. At least visually
Though they all have the same task
And I wanna say - after I vaped in this review I'm feeling dizzy, because the nicotine strength is high, absorption is high as well
If you are a person, with nicotine addiction than a things like that is kinda irreplaceable
if you don't want big clouds and long vaping breaks - if it's distracts you - then things like this will suit for you well
With high nicotine level which you don't feel as throat hit due to a different nicotine. Because if there was usual 18mg nicotine then the TH would be insane and I would be coughing till tomorrow, I guess
And due to another formula, the absorption of salt nicotine in your blood is faster
