Here is ORS for the first episode of Diggin' The Fuzz !

So today I'm psyched because we are doing

the first episode of the Diggin' the Fuzz serie

where we are meeting with bands from the fuzzy scene,

know more about them, know more about the people inside the bands,

hang around with them and have them play for us

and show all of that in those little videos.

So, the first band we are going to meet is called ORS

It's a French Spanish band

and right now I'm just waiting for mr. Stone

who is going to pick me up by car and then we will hit the road

So yesterday night we had the time to chat a bit with the guys

they are really cool dudes. Cool Dudes.

How do you guys met each other?

because we know Juanjo is Spanish

you guys are from France...

How does all this come together ?

Well Juanjo, what are you doing here? What's happening?!

what the hell happened here?! SHIT!

I also play in another band called Craneon

and we wanted to tour France so we got in touch with Clem

He had another band back then and we came together

and we had issues in the band you know and he ended up playing a bass with with us on that tour

and with his own band and after that came a new project which is ORS

They had a really great amazing songs written instrumentally

And I said, ok, I can picture myself singing about this

And so apparently Clement is doing all the writing of the musical parts?

Yep, instrumental parts, yeah

So how did the album came up together?

You told us last night that it was in a rush

You had to do it fast, tell us more about that

Yeah, the album was ready and when we were going to

record everything with another band, at first. The album was planned for another project

and at the last moment things went... not the right way

Probably it was the wrong moment to record the album or whatever

We did it anyway sooo everything was planned

The recording sessions were booked and everything

and two weeks before who had a big meeting

and we said "okay we don't do it"

so we had the album ready, we had the music

but we had no vocals, no lyrics, nothing no drummer, no singer, just the two of us

We were like

"FUCK!" Clearly not enough...

We didn't want to cancel the booking for the drum recordings so we contacted Alban

he said yes without listening to the music and then he said "FUCK!"

But then he did it anyway he recorded the whole album

How much time did he have ?

I think it was about 2 weeks.

(Paul: 4 months!)

NO! 2 weeks !

Yeah, it was 2 weeks before the session.

And it's not easy drums

Some parts are... yeah.

It was kind of a challenge because I didn't play that kind of music since a long time

So I was playing with more "Pop" bands

It's been a long since I didn't play so loud.

it was fun. We had a great time while recording the album, such a crazy week!

Maybe one or two days after I said to Juanjo "Okay we're going to do the album anyway"

We don't have any vocals planned

if you want to sing like on one or two tracks...

So he said "Yeah why not I'm gonna give it a try and then see what I can do"

and like a few days after he sent an email back saying :

"you know what ? I'm gonna do the whole album!"

Let's do this !

Yeah! And also the mastering session was booked also

so we also had a deadline for the final product

so everything had to be done two months after that

so basically he came to France one month after, working on the lyrics on his side

and we recorded the vocals in like about 20 days

It was recording and writing the lyrics and the vocals

everything was...

he came with ideas and yeah and the mixing also. 20 days was for the whole finishing process

Twenty days and nights!

Days and nights, man, night and day, yeah! It was quite intense

Why are you doing this session, right now?

The album was ready and then recorded

the two of us basically and Alban came after for the drums and then Juanjo but

we were not ready for the live, we just had an album which was recorded

and produced and mixxed and everything but we had to make it so it works, live.

What is the plan for the future, then? Do you have something coming up?

THE WORLD! We want the world to come for us!

We have an album on the way, like pre pre pre production whatever it is

So Clément, I noticed you're all playing on the same brand of amps

Can you tell me a bit more about this brand?

Yeah, we discovered it while watching a band playing on KEXP

Helms Alee, the band

We saw the amps and were like

"Fuck, it looks just damn fine"

and we thought okay let's...

and sounding amazing also the live of Helms Alee was really good on KEXP

okay let's check it out! And we found out these ones, the "Loucks"

and it's a serie, so... basically, Ben Verellen, he's playing in the band, Helms Allee, he's guitarist and singer

and his own brand is with his name Verellen and it's fucking amazing!

when we listen to this one, we were like "okay we need that in our life from now on"

And then I bought that one too which is a custom made with a power amp down here so I have my pre-amp here

I go in the power amp which is included in the 6x10

and it sounds just amazing.

Based in the Seattle if I'm right, I think or close to that

He's working with his brother, they are brothers, right?

And you don't have any problem having both guitarists using the same head?

Well actually I was a little bit concerned by that but

I know Red Fang does the same with some Sunn lead, I think

Well I thought it could work because I know that some bands do that and then we tried

and yeah it's definitely working really well

How did you come up with the name of the band and the whole concept of the album ?

We took old books.

Old french books.

Like dictionaries of old words.

Oh yeah.

We had many options and we found that one : "ORS"

it means "OURS" which is bear in French, in old French, it's not used anymore.

From that came the idea, the concept of the album ?

Basically yeah.

So we had the band name, and we wanted to go against all the usual themes you can find in that kind of music

the desert, and all that.

Greenleaf is also doing forest-themed. Some bands do that.

We thought : "Ok yeah, let's try something in that vein."

Maybe because of what's around you here ? Lots of forests, not so much deserts !

Juanjo, you was 100% free on the lyrics ?

It was interesting for me because I always sang in Spanish

and I thought myself : "I think in Spanish, I can speak more or less fluently in English but i think in Spanish."

So the lyrics from my other projects are already in Spanish

So what the hell ?! These guys come from bands that are singing in English.

So I'm gonna try to find a middle ground.

I'm gonna sing sometimes in Spanish sometimes in English.

So I got the idea to experiment mixing two languages in one song.

Yeah, yeah it works!

I think it works. It's interesting.

We were ready for that because we toured with Craneon, Banda de la Muerte, Pendejo

They sing in Spanish too.

Which is not really common in France.

Yeah, and and so they gave me...

You have 100% freedom and it was like that till the end.

"Here are the titles, GO."

"Alces" for example (ORS song)

It means elk.

So I did a research on every animal.

Because there're more than a few animals involved.

The wolves, alces...

So I did a research.

First the actual nature of the animal.

How they are socially, what are their social strenghts.

Are they more family, are they more independent... Many things!

And then mythologically, the symbols.

For many cultures this animal symbolizes this kind of feelings...

Yeah this kind of spirit, this kind of energy...

so I tried to make that.

And sometimes step into the shoes.

the whole album is "humanless".

there is no human involved. So it's only from the green and from the animals.

You doesn't talk about the effect the humans have on the nature ?

It's just pure nature.

Actually the point is to point at humans for destroying the nature

without having the humans involved.

YES!

It's humanless, but still there's something that is going wrong

So the animals just see something is wrong and there's a problem. but they don't see humans.

They just see problems.

They feel threatened.

"we are being destroyed and killed, but we don't know by what

we don't know why it's happening, we don't know what's going on"

Does all that relates with the artwork ?

I'm following an artist from the USA.

Aria Fawn or ShePaintsWithBlood.

She's a painter and she's really into nature and animals.

the centerpoint of all her drawings and paintings are animals, mystical creatures.

Really weird, with long horns, weird shapes.

And amazing colors.

I follow her on Internet, and I was in love with her style.

I made her do a drawing for this tattoo. Before the album for ORS.

And I was in touch with her and I told her : "Okay you go for forests and animals".

It was really obvious that we needed to go with her.

So I gave her the informations about the themes, the name of the tracks.

I think I sent her the tracks also.

Without lyrics.

Yeah, no lyrics, no vocals.

And so the theme for the next album, is it defined yet ? Will it still be nature ?

Not yet ?

Maybe in another way ?

We're in the middle of thinking about that and finding a way to make it work.

We have something we want to do but we don't know if it's a good idea or if it can fit.

Basically we have some of the tracks for the next album. Which are still work in progress.

They are really inspired by Twin Peaks in a way.

So I was writing the songs and watching the serie

and falling in love with it so much. I'd love to have that in our music.

So we're thinking about maybe having some tracks related to that.

We don't know in which way. maybe it's not going to happen. We have no clue.

Maybe it's a completely opposite thing!

But the writing process of the instrumentals we're definitely inspired.

Yeah definitely.

What will happen next I don't know, the lyrics and vocals I don't know...

Well we will come back to find out!

this is whanowa.

Welcome to my first ever subscriber special.

It's really hard for me to believe that 5.000 people were bored enough to find my videos

in the depths of YouTube and decided to click on that magic button.

By the way: The guy you see on screen right now is my avatar.

You've seen him before in my 100th video and a couple of other cameos ("Hello there guys

and girls!").

He looks almost 99% like I do.

You know, like a white privileged twat.

And this is my car's avatar (toot toot).

It looks almost like my real car, too.

I've got some errands to run.

So, let me take you on a ride through Los Santos while I tell you a little bit about

myself.

And yes, I am talking from off the screen because I was too lazy to animate the lip

movements for this huge amount of speech.

The special consists of three individual videos.

This is the first one and tomorrow you'll see my real life production setup with which

I produce all my videos.

And on Sunday I will do a fun little giveaway for all subscribers, so don't miss that.

By today's standards, 5.000 subscribers counts as a tiny channel, but if you would put all

of those people in a gas, ehr, I mean, concert hall, CONCERT HALL, it would be quite the

audience.

So I'm pretty proud of this achievement.

One thing I'm really really curious about right now is: Is there anyone around here

who subscribed after seeing my first video in 2011 and is still a fan of the channel?

Character drives through the city, sometimes randomly shooting, hitting or beating somebody.

The past years have been amazing with you guys and girls.

My first video ever called "GTA IV or FPS Russia" was an instant hit.

Within a few weeks it hit half a million views.

Needless to say that I was hooked to making YouTube videos almost instantly.

The quality of my videos was horrible, but it was really exciting to learn about filming

and editing via the detour of a videogame.

I explored all these new creative techniques, and I was extremely curious.

And I still am.

That's why I am talking to you right now.

I went in and checked my statistics on social blade because I basically missed to really

celebrate all previous milestones before the 5.000 mark.

So on eighth of October in 2013 I've breached the magical barrier of a thousand subscribers.

That was over two years after I posted my first video.

Then it all went really quickly somehow, because I hit 2.000 subs on 29th of April in 2014

which was just seven months later.

3.000 subscribers were hit one and a half years later on 20th of November 2015.

And then it was another 20 months until I reached 4.000 subscribers.

And now here we are.

At 5.000 which happened exactly on 15th of March 2018.

So with all the hard work it took me 215 days to gain 1.000 subscribers.

It's almost a new record, I missed it by a cock's length.

I'm sure, though, that I'll be much quicker to reach the 6K mark now.

Well, but only if I don't upload another Portal Late Play.

Many years ago my biggest dream was to create movies for the big screen as a director or

writer.

The problem is that a job like this kinda requires working with other people.

And I'm not a very social creature.

Then I realized: I don't have to be.

I can make small movies and videos on YouTube and fulfil my dream on a smaller scale.

And you, guys and girls, make that possible by leaving hilarious, supportive and even

critical comments upon which I can improve or feel happy for a little while.

Now, I don't talk much about my private life online since it's not that exciting anyway.

But here's a few bits for you: As you can hear, especially in my earlier videos, I have

a German accent, and that's because I live in Brazil.

Jokes aside.

I work as an editor in Bavaria, but I do not identify as one of them.

But let me assure you: The stereotypes about Bavarians are true.

All of them.

It's one big sausage party down here.

I still love gaming, but I always miss the hype trains – partly on purpose.

So I'm often pretty late to play games or watch movies.

I really enjoy the Dark Souls series, Red Dead Redemption, Drift 3 and the Uncharted

trilogy.

My musical taste has a wide range, too.

Originating from 90's techno as a child I quickly moved on to Nu Metal, then to Death

and Black Metal as well as Grindcore.

After a few years in the scene and my own band experiences I got into Indie Rock, Alternative,

Pop, Folk, Rock'n'Roll and some Electronic music and Hip Hop, too.

And I cannot get enough of the beauty and variety of music.

Enough of me, though.

Understand WHY 3D prints WARP - Simple explanation with experiment! - Duration: 1:38.

During FDM 3D printing a part is built by extruding molten plastic layer by layer until

you have a finished structure.

Especially when working with higher temperature plastics, warping can become an issue.

Warping is the phenomenon, that your print deforms due to internal stresses, releasing

from the building platform and therefore ruining your part.

But what's the reason for warping?

Let me demonstrate you this effect with a simple experiment.

We all know that materials usually contract when they cool down.

Our 3D printing materials are mostly extruded at over 200°C and then cool down and solidify

which makes some shrink quite a bit.

A piece of tape represents a layer that is printed.

I simulate the material shrinkage by pre-stretching it and then sticking it to the table.

Every subsequent layer will now pull on the lower layers.

At some point the connection to the table is not good enough anymore and our simulated

3D printed part releases from the table and warps.

There you have it!

This is why 3D prints warp.

How you can prevent this problem is a topic for another video.

so yesterday Marvel released two TV spots I think it was the first one was

about spider-man we've got a bit of Hulk who got a bit of guardians we got a bit

thought got a bit of everything but the only new scenes really where the Hulk

scene and the spider-man scene so let's get into this so we hear Bruce Banner

saying he's come in talking about Thanos which is pretty interesting we actually

finally get to see hole in a new kind of spot so this scene would have been from

the post-credits scene that we never got to see on Thor 3 on the Asgard ship

where we see him screaming this would have been before than us and beat us and

beat everyone else on the as guardianship because a lot of people

missed this but on trailer - I'm gonna put a clip an image over the top right

now you'll see something's crashing down and this is actually hole called Bruce

Banner crashing down into Doctor Strange sanctorium sanctuary whatever you want

to call it in New York and then during the first trailer we had to see Bruce

Banner beat up which makes sense because obviously at this point Tony Stark would

have spoken to dr. strange about obviously what's gonna be happening the

obviously affinity stones and all that but what's interesting so when the

directors said Hulk is scared of Thanos I think they're referring to Bruce

Banner knowing everything about what happened knowing that he kicks Thor's

asked knowing about the other Asgard's being killed so drawing at Thor 3 Bruce

was scared to turn back into the hole after being at the Hulk for so long on

cigar scar being their champion so it's interesting at the end Thor 3 turn back

into Hulk and obviously that's when he got on the Asgardians shit right at the

end of right before Loki and Loki and Thor were talking about them going back

to earth and then we see battleship turning up so it's literally gonna be

like the post-credits scene I'm expecting for the first 5-10 minutes

because I saw inspect them to see a lot death we know that Heimdall is gonna be

the end of dead because we can see his sword on the floor in the scene with

Loki and the Black Order and that's a very interesting scene I've done another

video on that but any more on Doctor Strange but essentially Proxima midnight

is holding up the spear to Loki's hairdo - and maybe not the tazza right because

when we see it's a bit so that misleading because then we see fellas

cracking open and tuck the toes react to actually get the space so which is

interesting so we know that Bruce won't be the hole during most

of the actual infinity walk because he's gonna be too scared to use it but we

know due to a leak that he's gonna be inside the Hulkbuster and then during

the most recent trailer we see 10 outriders the least jumping on the

Hulkbuster and this is most likely when Hulk's gonna get out and you're gonna

smash he's gonna smash he's gonna Hulk smash

everyone and I hope we get seen where Hulk is going up against cool called

obsidian because they'd seen two biggest so it's pretty cool it's gonna be really

cool to see them to beat down together so the most interesting thing in the

trailer is we see Tony Stark nitin spider-man atom one of the New

Avengers sane and welcome to the team you're now adventure which is pretty

interesting because at the end of homecoming just before we turn down the

iron Spidey suit he said he didn't want to be an Avenger but now all of a sudden

he's an Avenger which is gonna be pretty interested in spider-man is going to be

heavily marketed the closer we get to this movie coming out seeing as this

movie will be aimed at kids and spider-man merchandise wise makes the

most money we also do see the guards and galaxies having thought smash into ship

and this is where he's going to tell him about fan austin and obviously good more

is on the ship and that that's her father

well stepfather well adoptive father and obviously Drax obviously knows who that

is because the fan ask his whole family so you're Drax is on this mission to

destroy Thanos so it's quite interesting how the TV spots are giving away a lot

likely in Wakanda because they seem to associate will Condor with grass which I

know it's a bit weird how they keep showing lots of grass when they show

what Condor so I'm expecting that fallows to actually come to Wakanda but

we've not actually seen him physically there although I think the captain Bradd

THEN SUFFER THE CONSEQUENCE.

I WAS TOLD IN BIBLE COLLEGE,

"YOU DON'T HAVE TO TITHE BECAUSE YOU'RE A MINISTER

OR GOING TO MINISTER,"

BUT I TITHED EVERYTHING.

I WENT TO SCHOOL ON FAITH.

I WORKED EVERY HOUR I'D GET FOR $.25 AN HOUR-

GOD GOT HIS TENTH OUT OF IT-

I GLADLY GAVE IT, I GLADLY GAVE IT;

AND THE LORD REALLY BLESSED ME.

AND THE LEADER OF THE STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA,

YOUNG PEOPLE'S LEADER, WON THE PRIZE, $25,

HE GOES, "WELL, COME TO CHURCH WITH ME,

SO, HE BROUGHT ME HERE,
