STUDY OUTLINES WHAT PRAYER, MEDITATION & YOGA CAN DO TO THE HUMAN BODY - Duration: 8:31.

STUDY OUTLINES WHAT PRAYER, MEDITATION & YOGA CAN DO TO THE HUMAN BODY

BY ARJUN WALIA

The medicinal benefits of meditation and yoga are now firmly established in scientific literature.

One of the latest studies to emerge on the matter comes from Harvard researchers working

at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH).

They determined that meditation literally rebuilds the brains grey matter in just

eight weeks.

Its the very first study to document that meditation produces changes over time in the

brains grey matter.

Another promising study has recently come out of the Benson-Henry Institute for Mind

Body Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center

(BIDMC).

These researchers conducted the very first study where the use of the relaxation responsewas

examined in patients with Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) and Inflammatory Bowel Disease

(IBD), and the first to investigate the genomic effects of the relaxation response in individuals

with any disorder.

The report was published in the journal PLOS-ONE.

When it comes to prayer or distant healing directing human attention on

physical systems significant results have been obtained that warrant further investigation.

For a selected list of downloadable peer-reviewed journal articles reporting studies of psychic

phenomena, mostly published in the 21st century, you can click HERE.

Scientists over at the HeartMath Institute have demonstrated that when a person is feeling

really good, and is full of positive emotions like love, gratitude, and appreciation, their

heart beats out a different message thats encoded in its electromagnetic field, which

in turn has positive health effects on their body overall.

You can read more about that here.

Factors associated with human consciousness (thoughts, feelings, emotions, perception,

intention) have long been studied to see how they affect and interact with our physical

world.

You can read more about that here.

The Power Of Meditation, Yoga, & Prayer on Human Health

Meditation, yoga, and prayer are all grouped into a category (in medical terms) called

relaxation-response techniques. These techniques have been subject to several studies

which clearly show that regular practice directly affects physiologic factors such as heart

rate, blood pressure, stress, anxiety, oxygen consumption, and more.

It was first described over 40 years ago by Herbert Benson, Director Emeritus of the Benson-Henry

Institute and co-author of the paper presented in this article.

The new study, out of the Harvard-affiliated Massachusetts General Hospital, from the Institute

for Technology Assessment and the Benson-Henry Institute (BHI) for Mind Body Medicine, found

that people participating in the relaxation-response program actually used fewer health care

services in the year after their participation, compared to how many they used the previous

year.

The Harvard gazette reports that relaxation response techniques, such as meditation, yoga,

and prayer, could reduce the need for health care services by 43 percent.

Our studys primary finding is that programs that train patients to elicit the relaxation

response specifically those taught at the BHI can also dramatically reduce health

care utilization.

. . . These programs promote wellness and, in our environment of constrained health care

resources, could potentially ease the burden on our health delivery systems at minimal

cost and at no real risk. James E. Stahl, lead author of the study

The study was published last Tuesday in the journal PLOS ONE.

So, how did the research team analyze the impact of mind-body interventions on modern

day medical techniques?

They gathered data on people who have been participating in the BHI Relaxation Response

Resiliency Program for the past eight years.

After analyzing more than four thousands participants, and comparing it with a control group of almost

fourteen thousand (while also taking other factors into consideration read the study

for more), the participants engaging in the relationship program displayed an average

reduction of 43 percent when it came to using their regular health care services over the

year after their participation in the project.

I think of it this way: There are many gates to wellness, but not everyone is ready

to walk through a particular gate at a given time.

From a public health perspective, it is better to be prepared to offer these tools to people

in their customary settings than to wait for them to seek out these interventions.

For that reason, we feel that mind-body interventions which are both low-cost and essentially

risk-free should perhaps be incorporated into regular preventive care. Herbert

Benson, founder and director emeritus of the BHI and co-author of this current study

Meditation/Yoga Prayer Techniques Personally, I believe a common misconception

about meditation is that it must be done in a special way, or you must sit in a certain

position.

All you have to do is place yourself in a position that is most comfortable for you

and focus on your breath, in and out.

Its not about trying to empty your mind, its about more so about developing a non-judgemental

awareness of sensations, feelings and state of mind.

Let your thoughts and feelings come and go, then return your focus to your breathe.

Telling yourself not to think will only produce the opposite effect, but you can work on choosing

how to feel and respond to those thoughts.

Meditation can be similar to state of mind, in that some might have the ability to produce

the same brainwave frequencies that are commonly seen in meditators without actually meditating.

On the other hand, there are many devout students of meditation who spend hours of their time

each day devoted to this ancient practice.

If you are someone who doesnt have much experience with meditation and would like

to try it, you can check out some of our articles on the topic that offer some advice/tips on

meditation, as well as find some guided meditations here.

As far as yoga goes, here is a 20 minute yoga class for complete beginners, and here is

a list of articles weve written that provide more instruction and information about yoga.

Afrika Korps Unterfeldwebel - Review d'Uniforme - Duration: 20:06.

Hello everyone, and welcome to this new uniform review video ! Today I am going to present you an Unterfeldwebel uniform in its tropical version, also known as Afrikakorps' uniform.

Before we begin, I must make a few points clear.

First of all, this video is only a base that will help you to assemble your uniform. In no case may this video spare you from buying specialized books, magazines, or even making serious internet searches.

Historical photos could contradict me, but keep in mind that pictures can prove everything as much as nothing.

Just because an equipment can be seen on a picture, it does not mean that it is regulatory. Similarly, just because an equipment as never been photographed, it does not mean that it never has existed, as long as the historical chronology is respected.

I voluntarily didn't hide this uniform's insignias for historical purposes only. In no manner I will tolerate political views neither in this video nor in the commentary section. We are on a historical video and not a political video.

If you have observations or anecdotes, please write them below, it will help to move the debate forward. Maybe then we could learn from one another.

And finally I will only present what I am wearing, in order to save you from a 2 hour long video. You will find the complete equipment's list in the description box down below with the corresponding timing.

BACKGROUND

The Afrikakoprs, or Deutsche Afrikakorps was the expeditionary force sent in North Africa during the World War 2.

Formed on January, the 11th 1941 to assist the Italians in Libya, the DAK was placed under the command of one of Hitler's favorite officer, the Field Marshal Erwin Rommel.

Indeed, the Italians got blocked by the 8th British corps' counter-offensive during operation Compass. Initially, the sole mission of the DAK was to reconquer Cyrenaica and Libya.

Composed of 45,000 soldiers and 250 tanks in August 1941, Rommel succeeded in remedying the catastrophic situation initiated by the Italians.

Departed from Tripoli, the Libyan Headquarter, he arrived 200 kilometers away from Alexandria and managed to besiege Tobruk for the first time, before finally conquering it in 1942 after multiples British counter-attacks.

These were then forced to head to El Alamein, which the DAK will never happen to take.

On 1 November 1942, the DAK is officially on the decline. The Battle of El Alamein was the first of a long series of defeats.

Sir Winston Churchill summed up this battle by saying: "Now this is not the end. It is not even the beginning of the end. But it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning."

Tobruk is conquered back in 1942 by British Marshal Montgomery. Then, Rommel had to face several distinguished Allied officers, such as Montgomery, General Leclerc, and General Fredendall, later replaced by General Patton.

The Kasserine Battle, which took place between 19 and 25 February 1943, was Rommel's last victorious battle, the latter being called back to Europe by Hitler on 19 March 1943;

officially for health reasons, but informally the aim was to protect Field Marshal's military reputation, as defeat was coming near.

The DAK could still be saved by retreating. Rommel approved this solution and so, suggested it to the Fuehrer, which refused it categorically.

Therefore, Afrikakorps troops, leaded by Von Arnim, surrendered on 12 March 1943, causing the capture of 130,000 soldiers.

German soldiers often described this very difficult campaign. Not only they had to fight back against the enemy fire, but also against friendly fire; Italians were having difficulties to recognize German vehicles.

But the biggest troubles were thirst and heat: temperatures sometimes approached 50°C in the shade, knowing that there was no shade anyway. Soldiers even used to fry their eggs on their panzer's armor.

Uniform

Created for battles in tropical climate as of 1940, the outfit worn by the DAK was therefore named "tropical uniform". For this reason, it takes over a few elements of the classic uniform, most of them being repainted.

Some other uniform and equipments pieces have been rehabilitated for this very hot climate campaign.

The tropical type regulatory shirt can have many variations. Here it is equipped with a collar and two pockets on the front, allowing to carry a wallet or a Soldbuch.

Some shirts may have badges, but most of them had none, the latter being intended to be worn under the jacket.

Buttons were placed on the shoulders to wear shoulder straps, but I chose to remove them so that they would not hurt my shoulders with the gear worn over it. It is made of cotton and closes with 4 buttons.

The tropical trousers come with the jacket: it is made of light lattice, of the same type as the Drillich or the HBT, so as to keep light clothing.

This one is a sand-coloured trouser, which was less common than the olive-green colour, but could still be found on the battlefield. However, it differs from the model worn in the Luftwaffe.

It closes by means of an integrated belt with a buckle that has spikes to block the belt.

Made of leather, canvas and wood, tropical boots were commonly used. They have a wooden heel, on which an iron has been added. The sole is leather and has an iron at its end,

Iron that cannot be found on all manufactures.

The boots were not studded, in contrast to the other AfrikaKorps ankle-high boots that could be found. They are surmounted by gaiters, which are latched by 2 loops and two strips of leather.

This is a poor quality reproduction, on which the straps and buckles have been replaced by a more robust leather.

In 1940, light outfits for the summer were developed for the Wehrmacht and the other corps, in anticipation of arid climates and to adapt the color of the uniform with the colors of the surrounding vegetation.

The breast eagle is found on the right breast, with the cross slightly overlapping the flap of the pocket.

Litzen are present on the collar, in the same way as the European outfit, except that they are generic: they do not have the color of the weapon specified on the insignia.

The collar is here intended to be worn opened, sometimes letting a tie appear.

We notice the reminder Ribbon of the second class Iron Cross, awarded for bravery in combat. It is sewn on the second button, but as the first one will remain open, so this is the 1st apparent button.

We notice the AfrikaKorps arm band, which could be worn after two months of service in the AfrikaKorps.

We are here facing with a NCO, as evidenced by the braid on the collar. The same braid is found on the shoulder boards, forming the rank of Unterfeldwebel, or staff-sergeant.

The M35 helmet is the first big improvement since the 1914 helmet. There were other intermediate versions of course, such as the firemen's M33 helmet. Originally in an apple-green colour, it was repainted in sand-yellow in an artisanal way.

The insignias of the Reich were still placed: the black white and red flag on one side, and the white eagle on the black crest on the other.

The inside of the helmet consists of a steel headband, on which leather legs have been fixed, laced at the bottom by a lace, allowing to adjust the depth.

Each shell has its size, as well as the headband, in order to have a suitable size for its head morphology and avoid the "La Grande Vadrouille" (French famous film) effect.

The pith helmet was offered to the soldiers of the AfrikaKorps from the beginning of the African campaign, as protection against the sun.

It is a cork hat covered with an olive green canvas, on which we will have added a leather jugular. The insignia of the Reich are found on the sides, made of metal.

Most of the insignias on the bush hat reproductions will not have the swastika, as they are produced in Germany. It will be necessary to order the badges on sites from other countries.

Anti-dust sunglasses were added over the bush hat, maintained by an elastic band.

EQUIPMENT

Soldier's equipment is a vital element, especially when climatic conditions can be so difficult. In this way, taking his bread bag, the canteen and ammunition for his weapons was not an option, but an obligation.

This equipment is specific to an infantry NCO.

Because our German is armed with a submachine gun, it is appropriate to equip him with sufficient ammunition.

Thus the ammunition pouches in canvas and leather will carry the 6 regulatory magazines as well as the loader allowing the manual filling of the magazines.

On the left hand side, we find a P08 Luger pistol, slipped in its brown leather case. This case allowed to carry the dismantling tool as well as an additional magazine.

Originally intended to dig holes and trenches, the shovel can be a formidable weapon for close combat, especially when it is sharpened.

It is slipped in a case made of strong canvas especially made for tropical climates.

Over the shovel, the bayonet is slipped into a gusset also made of strong canvas.

A bread bag is a vital part for the soldier's life on the field: it allows to carry his butter dish, his cutlery, and his food rations. The AfrikaKorps could have its own style of bread bag, with its own shades.

Here is a complicated element to find in reproduction: the tropical water bottle made of vulcanized fiber mixed with wood; the water bottle called "Coconut" made it possible

to avoid using the traditional aluminum bottle, which would have served as a furnace to heat the water. It is transported on a strong canvas strap.

The whole gear is mounted on a strong canvas belt with a yellow painted aluminium buckle.

In order to help maintain the belt to support all its weight, tropical Y-straps will be necessary. Also made of strong canvas, it has the same shape and the same function as the traditional Y-straps made of black leather.

The Sturmgepäck arrived from 1939 and was easier to use than the Tornister used before. It made it easy to transport the complement of the soldier's equipment.

The M31 mess tin is here a European one repainted in sand yellow.

The Zeltbahn is a quarter of a tent fabric for assembling a complete tent. The pegs are transported in the middle of the roll.

This one is of yellow sand color, specific to the AfrikaKorps. This is a post-war quarter of the French army, which has taken on the same concept.

Mandatory accessory in the equipment, the anti-gas mask, stored in its iron case, is added over the equipment already set.

This is once again a European case repainted in sand yellow. The cover on top allows to carry an anti-gas cape, to be deployed as a cover to hide underneath in case of gas-alert.

The M24 hand grenade, called Stielhandgranate in the original language, was typical of the German soldier.

It consists of three parts: the head that contains the explosive, the wooden handle, which contains the detonator and the ignition system, and the cap, which protects the porcelain ball that was to be in the bottom of the handle.

This is a copy of a poor quality, which has neither markings nor string. Therefore, I had no remorse to repaint it in yellow, as was common at the time.

Developed between 1936 and 1938, the MP38 was adopted by the Wehrmacht in June 1938 to replace the MP35, deemed too cumbersome for tank crews and paratroopers.

The MP38 is made of steel with bakelite pads for the handle and side panels.

Under the barrel, a rod with a notch allows to stall the barrel of the weapon on the edge of a vehicle and serves as a wedge for shooting.

A tilting sight allows shooting at 100m or 200m, although shooting at the hip is quite possible, especially in buildings. A stock is retractable under the weapon, but can be unfolded to allow a better support during the shooting.

The original MP38 / 40 also have some gap in the stock, but not as much as here, because it is a replica of airsoft: the base is an AGM MP40, Shoei having realized a conversion kit to transform the MP40 to MP38.

The uniform presented here is specific to the rank of NCO, men of the troop not having the same armament, nor the same pouches.

The officers will have some elements of different, but not the tunic, unlike the Wehrmacht in Europe, where the officers had their own tunics.

It was obviously not impossible to find the sleeves rolled up on the jackets, and some pants could be converted into shorts.

Some troops, in the Afrika Korps, had special equipment, such as Panzertruppen or Gebirgsjäger. You will discover these specialties in dedicated videos that I will publish.

The Lüger and the MP38 are airsoft guns, which I already made the video review, don't hesitate to look at the links given in description to learn more.

Made in brown chocolate wool, the Afrika Korps greatcoat was very useful when the temperature drops sharply, as often happens in the desert.

It has two rows of 6 buttons, just like the European model, and has exactly the same shape. Buttons are also placed on the shoulders, so as to accommodate shoulder straps.

Two oblique pockets are present on the sides in order to slip his hands. An "Afrika Korps" arm band can also be added to the right sleeve, but it was only optional on the coat.

When the coat was not worn, or kept in a truck or barrack, it could be carried around the Tornister or Sturmgepack, wrapped in a certain manner and secured by leather or canvas straps.

As a practical measure, the equipment will be placed over the coat, allowing the soldier to be operational quickly.

SUMMARY

There were several shades of uniforms: I chose to present here the yellow sand, ideal for camouflage in the desert.

The pants have the same cut as the European pants M40, but here is made of canvas of the same type as the drillich, to remain light and flexible,

and especially so that the garment can breathe, and the air can circulate, avoiding boiling the soldier wearing the pants.

The tropical shirt was chosen in 1941 to be placed under the combat jacket. It can be decorated with a tie, but rarely seen in combat. She is here with pockets, but may not have any, and have a different shade.

It inspired the gray version that will be worn by the Wehrmacht on other fronts from 1942-1943.

The M40 tunic is here beige, allowing a better camouflage in arid environment. It has 4 pockets and can accommodate two hooks to hold the belt on the hips.

Various insignia are placed on the tunic: The German chest eagle, military badge that any German soldier had to wear.

The litzen are placed on the flaps of the open collar, and were the same for all, whatever the weapon of the troop.

The ranks are visible through the shoulder straps, because it is a NCO, when the men of the troop have badges on the sleeves. The braid on the collar confirms the NCO rank.

We are dealing here with an Unterfeldwebel, or sergeant-chef in French.

An "Afrika Korps " armband is a reminder of the army corps in which the soldier is, and a 2nd class iron cross reminder ribbon is sewn on the second button of the tunic.

The tropical boots were much more adapted to the hot climate than the classic Wehrmacht boots. That's why a model in light leather and canvas has been developed.

They are closed by a long lace to pass in holes and in hooks.

They can be worn with gaiters or simply socks folded up on the top of the shoe to avoid irritating the calf with the friction of leather or canvas.

The most famous hat of the Afrika Korps were the M35 or M40 helmet, as well as the pith helmet.

Made of cork and canvas, the pith helmet features an adjustable headband on the inside, allowing for a unique size for all soldiers. The badges are also put on the sides.

They are metal and are screwed into the cork shell. A helmet like this one had no vocation to protect bullets or splinters, only preventing from rays of the sun.

Anti-dust sunglasses were added over the pith helmet, held by an elastic band.

The helmet here is an M35, which is a European helmet converted into a tropical helmet. The side insignia are still there, it's here decals.

The inside of the helmet consists of a leather headband, on which legs have been fixed.

The name of the soldier is noted inside so that it can be recognized more easily when all the helmets of the section are stored together, each helmet having its own size.

A good soldier must be adequately equipped for his environment and his rank. That's why we find MP40 magazines slipped into their leather and canvas pouches.

The pouches containing the speed loader is also present on the side of a pouch. The Luger P08 is present here in its leather holster. He is here because the NCOs could have them in staffing.

The straight shovel is here slipped into a canvas case, on which a bayonet is slipped into its scabbard.

A bread bag will carry rations of combat and survival accessories. A tropical canteen, also called "coconut" canteen, keeps the water at a good temperature, even when the temperatures are very high.

The heavy Y-straps, here in tropical version, so made of canvas, is attached to the tropical belt, also made of canvas.

The anti-gas mask is mandatory in the German soldier's outfit, it had to be transported by means of its case made of sheet metal, on which an anti-gas cloth and its cover are placed with the help of a webbing strap.

The anti-gas mask could be used in a big storm, but also to shoot Panzerschreck, the projectiles being dangerous for the face of the shooter when shooting.

The Sturmgepäck made possible to transport the remaining elements of the soldier's equipment, namely the mess kit, here painted in sand yellow, and consisting of two parts; as well as the tropical Zeltbahn.

The Sturmgepäck is here tropical type, as evidenced by the straps in strong canvas, unlike the European Sturmgepäck, which has the same straps in leather.

The Zeltbahn is here a quarter of French tent canvas, much easier to find than an original canvas.

The M24 grenade, or Stielhandgranate, was famous for being much better than any egg or pineapple grenade. Indeed, his handle allowed to send the grenade further.

To light the wick, it was necessary to pull the porcelain ball, connected to the mechanism by a string.

The explosive charge was contained in the head, which was removable, thus creating assemble of 7 heads + a handle, creating an anti-tank weapon.

The tropical mantle is essential in the desert, where temperatures can be extreme in the night. It is made of chocolate wool, with gray plastic buttons.

Buttons and loops to the shoulders allow to slip shoulder straps, so you can recognize the rank despite the wearing of the coat.

An armband "Afrika Korps" can be added on the right sleeve, but there was no obligation.

The MP38 is the big brother of the MP40, appeared in 1938 in the ranks of the Wehrmacht to meet the needs of the troops regarding the firepower but also the reliability and compactness of the weapon.

It is powered by magazines of 32 cartridges of 9mm, has a sight that can switch from 100 to 200m. A stock is foldable, allowing a more efficient shoulder shoot.

The MP38 has a safety: to do this you must pull back the cocking lever and then back to let it slip into the small rail above. Too bad this feature has not been taken on this model airsoft.

which hackers use to gain all the information, to gather all the information that they can get about a subject.

about an organisation, about someone basically about a target.

Now, via doxing, you can get information like your name,

Name, Address - Physical address & Email Address, Phone Number, Photographs , etc.

unfortunately, these informations are publicly available.

Hackers use some publicly available sources to gather this information

In today's video, ill be showing you some techniques of doxing, Some ways of doxing.

Before starting with that, lets talk about doxing

Doxing comes from two words - document tracing.

The first method is called reverse lookup

Wherein, you have certain information and you use this information to reverse lookup, to get to the owner.

For Eg. If i have a phone number, i might enter it into facebook

i'll click on forget password and enter the phone number.

If i am lucky, i will get the name of the owner of the number.

So this is something known as reverse cellphone lookup.

There are websites which provide information about phone numbers.

I usually prefer this technique because most people tend to

forget to delete their facebook ID's

Now the second technique is Who.is

In case the owner, For Eg. In my case, I have a website

called priyankgada.com

What ill do is, ill go to who.is

and search for the owner, or the domain registration details

of the website

ill find all the details like from

like physical address, email address, phone number and even the name of the owner.

In most cases, youll find the mobile number and the name of the CEO of the website

or owner of the company

and in some cases, they use privacy protection to hide

domain details

Talking about doxing, Doxing is not really a crime

atleast i believe, that doxing is not a crime because

You are using publicly available information, you are using all the public sources.

But what you do with the information that you get

can be a crime. For Eg. A hacker might use these information

your details, your domain details

to call you and use social engineering or various other attacks.

which ill be talking and making videos on pretty soon.

So i guess that's pretty much it and i think you should use domain registration privacy

To hide your information

and dont use facebook #DeleteFacebook

How To INCREASE YOUR VIEWS On YouTube On Particular Videos. You CAN Increase Your Video Views - Duration: 5:03.

G'day. In today's video I want to show you a way that you can increase some

views on your videos. The reason I am showing you this is because it's exactly

what I'm going to do as an experiment that you guys can actually follow along

with this one and see for yourself that it'll work. So we're looking at my page

here at the moment Aussie Marks Drones and Tutorials and

this is the home page that people would come to and the first thing that

they're going to see by way of my videos are these couple here. Down By The Bridge

and Cungulla Sunrise. That's the first two. If we scroll down a bit there's another

few there. What I'm looking at is the view counts on these. If you're not

familiar with a channel, you'll click on the first couple of videos you see to

see if you like them. So this one here's got two hundred and fifty views. This one

here has got three hundred and four, hundred and twenty two, hundred and

seventy two; but as we scroll down, look ... sixty seven, sixty two, fifty four, fifty.

That's because these guys are at the top. So how do I change that? I want to move

some of my other videos up to the top here. So it's fairly simple to do. So

these are in a playlist, and if you haven't done, created a playlist of some

of your videos and sectioned them into different groups, I strongly suggest

that you do that on your channel. what you do is you go into the actual

playlist. So I'm gonna click on to here and that should bring me through to my

playlist and so as you can see here, once it starts loading, this is the order that

the playlist is in and that one is at the top, the one that I said gets

clicked on a lot, and so is that one, ... and then they progressively reduce down but

because you're in your playlist, what you can do is you can move things

around. I want to put a different one up the top here. I'm gonna try and select

one that hasn't had too many views. Townsville Sunrise down here ... this one only

had about 60 or 70 views, but if I move over here

to this side and click on the more button I can move that up to the top so

up she goes. So now that's the top one, and see it actually changes the

thumbnail as well. So I'm moving that one up to the top. Actually I might even just

move another one up to the top as well. Let's try another one. Let's try ...

let's say Sunset At The National Park or will we go Dawn On The River. Let's go

Dawn On The River. So I'm going to move that up to the top and now Dawn On The

River is at the top and Townsville Sunrise is directly under it. So if we go back

over to my homepage over here, you'll see now I've got two different videos

sitting at the top. So let's see if 28 views for Dawn On The River and 54 views

for A Townsville Sunrise actually get increased by simply being up there. We'll

come back in maybe two weeks and see if there's been an increase in the views on

those. I'm hoping so, and I hope that you might try that as well as a means of

increasing the views on some of your older videos. Bring them up to the top so

that people can see them. If you're trying to organize your playlists, you'll

see that if I look at my playlist here, this playlist is at the top and then

I've got his playlist, and this one, and this one, and this one. So you can

actually move your playlists as well. So if I wanted to actually, say, have my

Uploads at the top, I simply use these two buttons here. I push that. That's

going to now be at the top, and that shows basically my uploads in

the order that they were uploaded in, but I prefer to have these at the top

because that's what we're going to do the experiment on, so I'll push that back

up to the top as well. Click there. Alright; well thank you very

much for watching and I hope that that maybe increases some of the views on

some of your older videos. I'm Aussie Mark, for those of you who don't know me,

and you can certainly tell I'm Aussie from the accent, can't you. - I hope you have a

fantastic day. Hey everyone Thanks for watching Aussie Mark videos. If you

haven't subscribed yet, please do so. He puts out some awesome content and he's gonna

put a link below to my channel. I'm Jeremiah McIntosh. Check it out. If you

guys like it, please subscribe as well. I put out a lot of drone tutorials, tech

tutorials on stuff that I buy or just awesome stuff I see, so please check it

Zuckerberg Scrambles To Calm Facebook Employees - Duration: 5:57.

Zuckerberg Scrambles To Calm Facebook Employees

by Tyler Durden

Following a horrendous week of damage control through a choreographed game of MSM softball,

Mark Zuckerberg is now trying to calm down Facebook employees in the wake of a massive

data harvesting scandal.

A March 18 expos by The Guardian detailing how 28-year-old programmer Christopher Wylie

"made Steve Bannon's psychological warfare tool" missed its intended Trump-linked target

and landed squarely on Facebook's doorstep, after revelations that Facebook's Orwellian

data collection combined with sloppy oversight of what apps and their creators do with your

data has resulted in disturbing violations of privacy.

What's more - Facebook was helping the Obama Campaign target voters using harvested data,

similar to what Cambridge Analytica was doing.

Obama's former campaign director admitted over Twitter that Facebook not only knew of

the campaign's data harvesting to "suck out the whole social graph," but that they "didn't

stop us once they realized that was what we were doing."

And WikiLeaked emails released during the 2016 election revealed that Facebook COO Cheryl

Sandberg really wanted "Hillary to win badly," after Hillary came over to Sandberg's house

and was "magical with her kids."

Adding more fuel to the fire is the fact that one of the psychologists who created the data-harvesting

app which gathered information on over 50 million Facebook users before selling it to

Cambridge Analytica and others works for Facebook.

The co-director of a company that harvested data from tens of millions of Facebook users

before selling it to the controversial data analytics firms Cambridge Analytica is currently

working for the tech giant as an in-house psychologist.

Joseph Chancellor was one of two founding directors of Global Science Research (GSR),

the company that harvested Facebook data using a personality app under the guise of academic

research and later shared the data with Cambridge Analytica.

-The Guardian

As The Guardian's expos became more and more Zucked, even the founder of WhatsApp,

Jan Koum - who Facebook made a billionaire after buying his company, told his Twitter

followers "It is time.

#deletefacebook"

It is time.

#deletefacebook

Brian Acton (@brianacton) March 20, 2018 With Bannon and Trump surely smirking at the

Pandora's box opened by The Guardian, Mark Zuckerberg went radio silent for several days

- emerging Wednesday of last week for a round of unsatisfying, robotic damage control with

a couple of magazine articles and a painfully milquetoast interview on CNN.

While Zuckerberg attempted to extinguish fires outside of Facebook, the beleaguered CEO has

taken multiple steps over the past few days to assuage the concerns of his company's 25,000

employees, according to the NYT.

The Silicon Valley company held a staff meeting on Tuesday to answer questions about Cambridge

Analytica, featuring one of Facebook's lawyers, Paul Grewal.

On Wednesday afternoon, Mr. Zuckerberg addressed employees directly, according to two Facebook

employees who asked not be identified because the proceedings were confidential.

Mr. Zuckerberg also spoke with staff on Friday at a regularly scheduled employee meeting,

said two people who attended the event.

"Calming employees was particularly vital because morale had sunk at the company," writes

Sheera Frenkel in The Times.

"Earlier this week, some Facebook employees had said that colleagues had started looking

to transfer from the main social network product to other branches of the company, such as

to messaging app WhatsApp and photo-sharing site Instagram, which have been relatively

unscathed by the recent scandals."

Because clearly one needs a "safe space" to go with that 8-figure stock-based compensation...

although at this rate it may be 7-figure.

One Facebook recruiter told The Times that there were concerns over top talent leaving

the company for other Silicon Valley opportunities.

"It's such a shocking difference for company employees who are used to having esteem for

where they work," said Eric Schiffer, chairman of Reputation Management Consultants.

"Ten years ago, Facebook was the hottest place to go out of college.

This year, the best graduates are not necessarily looking at Facebook."

While Zuck wasn't present at the company's Tuesday staff meeting, he reportedly told

employees of concrete measures the company was taking following the Cambridge Analytica

report.

Mr. Zuckerberg said the social network was investigating apps like the third-party quiz

app that had obtained access to "large amounts of information" from the social network, which

had then been used by Cambridge Analytica.

He also said the company would restrict third-party developers' access and would notify users

whose data had been harvested by Cambridge Analytica.

Of the #DeleteFacebook campaign, Mr. Zuckerberg told The New York Times in an interview, "I

think it's a clear signal that this is a major trust issue for people, and I understand that."

-NYT

Facebook's senior managers promised an open line of communication on Friday while the

company reevaluates its privacy and security measures, according to two employees.

Meanwhile, the hits just keep on coming...

Telemetria GPS Fai da Te: cos'è, a cosa serve e come ottenerla in maniera facile | kart break #1 - Duration: 4:44.

What do you think I do not look like a professor with these glasses

Goodmorning friends of vado al max and youtube and welcome to this new video

As you can see, I had a nice pair of glasses here on my face because they found me

slightly short-sighted and astigmatic but still calm nothing disturbing

This will absolutely not affect my driving quality. If you have followed the facebook page carefully

of the channel, you will find down here in the description

in the last days I have reshared videos that have a single element in common,

that is the gps telemetry. You know that it has always been my very special fixation to make videos of this kind and this is precisely the topic

of the first episode of the new kart break series, the karting break

this new series that is mainly focused on dailyvlog and vlog made during lunch break from work,

so in a very simple and fast way. In this series the topics related to karting and also to motor sports in general will be dealt

with practical guides, my personal advice and so on.

as said the topic of this first video will be the GPS telemetry

But I noticed that on YouTube and on Facebook there is a lack of material regarding GPS telemetry

for which we say I felt a little bit in duty to fill this gap

starting from the fundamental technical principles passing then to the type of data that can be acquired with this technology and then arrive at my data acquisition set up

following it's natural evolution

And at the end of the video I will indicate the fundamental technical factor to acquire all your data in an optimal way

To begin with I will give you some brief technical notes regarding this gps technology

that like many other things was initially developed for military purposes, a bit like the internet.

Gps stands for global positioning system, global positioning system,

this system is based on a network of satellites more commonly called constellation, which through a complex system of triangulations

allows a receiver on the ground to receive data on its position

that is, latitude, longitude and even local time. Obviously there is not only the GPS system but there is also the Russian version which is called glonass, the Chinese version

and also the European version, which is called Galilean. I wonder why. So how can GPS technology help us and what data can be detected?

Well the most interesting data that can be detected are obviously the position, useful in the races where there is also a strategy factor

the trajectories, which is very useful to understand where you can file those fundamental tenths in the race and also in qualifying

the speed that is a direct expression of the potential of the engine

and also lateral and longitudinal lateral accelerations useful for detecting under and oversteer phenomena

And how do we get all these good data? Simply with a GPS receiver

At the beginning of my experience in this area I simply had an old android smartphone, equipped with gps obvious, like this one

an old xperia sony ericsson, so nothing exceptional

In short, discrete accuracy, just to start the first rudiments is more than good

but then the desire for precision has increased in parallel

and among the various folds of the internet could find this, a nice gps data logger of the qstarz

with much higher accuracy than the smartphone. And since then decided to use them in

combined, the smartphone to see the times, connected via bluetooth to the data logger.

the fantastic thing about this hybrid system is that practically the datalogger not only acts as an external gps antenna but also makes it from

integrated datalogger, so a sort of backup system, in case of need. To acquire the fundamental data to have our beautiful

recordings with the overlay, I personally recommend a couple of applications

Racetime and racecrono. You can find them easily for both Android and IOS

I leave the link in the description, at least for the android part.

As said at the beginning there is a fundamental parameter to be taken into account to obtain the most accurate measurements possible, is the frequency of the GPS antenna itself

the higher it is, the more precision it will be and the more sampling it will take on the second.

So you will understand very well that a smartphone with a 1 Hz antenna will not have the same accuracy

of the data logger which is 5 Hz, so you will understand that this parameter is very important

My personal advice is to go with frequencies above 5 Hz

And so a sampling every 0.2 seconds that seems to me the minimum for motorsport

Basically it is a great tool to improve yourself and also to file that little bit more

which allows us to be faster and more efficient on the track.

I hope you enjoyed this video, I invite you to leave a nice like and to subscribe to the channel, and to stay connected because from this video

will also result in a nice practical practical tutorial on how to make this type of video.

From your vado al max it's all and see you next Sunday. bye, bye

How To Collaborate With Companies - Duration: 10:32.

Hey, everybody. Kris Krohn here, Grant Thompson with Self Made and today we're

talking about how you actually get out there and score partnerships and

branding deals with the companies that you want to work with.

So here's a thing,

Kris. When you're building your YouTube channel, there is an audience that you've

attracted, there's a brand image that you've sustained and it's really helpful

if you can work brand sponsorships with actual companies that resonate with who

you are and what you do. In our previous video, we told you how you could actually

go and get sponsored deals, how you get them flowing to you but not all the

sponsor deals that come to you are necessarily going to be the best for your

channel and for who you do. - I've noticed is I've had some companies come to me

and they've asked me to, hey, are you open to this? Are you open to that? Now

look at some of them I'm like, why wouldn't work with you? Or like, that

doesn't make sense and and so it's been a no but also in

learning from you, there's a lot of people that are yeses that I haven't

been saying yes to that would actually help ignite us to the next level so

teach us. - So like in my channel for example, we're very hands-on DIY making

things so if I were going to do some kind of a promo for lipstick, it may not be a

really appropriate match, I'm sure we can find a way to do it but it would

be a little bit of a stretch, right? But there are other companies like D Walt

for example or Lowe's home improvement that are very much on brand because

those are the companies that we use to buy our tools, buy our equipment, we use

them all the time. So those are the kind of brands that we want to work with so

how can you get on the radar for the types of brands that you actually want

to work with, the ones that you use and want to promote? Now I do want to tell

you this, when brands have marketing campaigns, it's usually very specific,

they find an agency and they have their ways of doing it so to actually go to a

brand and say hey, let's do a sponsorship, it's probably never going to work, it's

never going to work, you're probably not going to make any money for it but there

are some things that you can do to get on their radar and help influence

campaigns that come back to you later. - Love it. So how do we get started? - Okay so

the very first thing that you can do is actually look at the products that you

use, what tools or equipment or you know, if you're in a different area, what music

do you listen to? What lipstick to use? What clothes do you use? And you can

start identifying which brands you naturally already love, okay, and then

once you've identified that, what kind of things that you can do to help

accentuate their brands. I almost want you to think about giving something for

free now to hopefully get something back good value later so it's almost like an

investment so what I want you to do is think about ways that you can go out to

these companies in these brands and give them a very no risk trial of the service

that you can provide. You know I know some influencers who wanted to work with

Nike and so what they did is they made a video all about Nike, shoutouts to Nike

and they did some very cool things with Nike and wouldn't you know it, a year

later, you know now they're working with Nike, they've got shoes developed for

their kids at Nike and now they've actually got sponsored paying deals with

Nike as a result of those initial efforts. - So basically what you're saying

is you got to go out there and you've got to stock the companies that you

really want to work with, you've got to find a way well what are they into? How

are they creating value? How could I create value for them? How can I get on

their radar and so it sounds like it really starts with making a list of your

right do you like your ideal company list right and then you taken some time

to research and understand how based on the way they market and present

themselves, how could I actually create value for them. - Yeah, how do I create

value for them before they even know who I am. I think you'll find with any you

know, everybody loves to be praised, everybody loves to be promoted and

especially when it's a really big reach and they didn't have to put any money

into it. You know I've got a video on my channel how to make Lego gummy candy,

it's my number one video with 24 million views, I didn't get paid any money to do

that video, I didn't collaborate with Lego but as a result of that, we

obviously got a lot of attention from Lego, we sold out every store in the

country of their Ice Cube molds for making Legos you know so definitely they

know who the king of random is and if Lego ever wants to do campaigns which

they're starting to get into, they've actually circled back, we've sat down,

we've had conversations with Lego, they started selling us products or sending

us product, they've started sending us products that we can play around with

and come up with ideas so definitely if you want to get on a company's radar,

make a sponsored video without being sponsored and and eventually it will get

back to them and probably get some kind of recognition probably. - So I just got

a pause for a moment and talk about what this brand Self Made actually means

that we're wearing them our shirt and really the deeper principle in the

mindset of what it is that we're really encouraging out of you which is we're

teaching you these strategies but notice that it's you stepping forward, it's you

taking an initiative, it's you being proactive, it's

you going first and you know, if it would be so easy to sit back and be like man,

I'm not big enough, no one wants to do any deals with me, I don't matter, I just

got a wait wait wait and I think it's so easy to get into the weight mode, Grant,

of like well that's something for later, that's something wants and bigger but

the reality is, if you make a list of who your dream sponsors and companies would

be and then if you actually start making videos and including them and doing

shoutouts and then coming their way, I found this to be true with one of my

videos, there's someone that I really want to collaborate with so I've shot

three videos now and every time giving them credit and thinking them for the

contribution they've made on that subject matter in their videos and now I

have a meeting with them next week to sit down and actually look at doing a

collaboration, I'm like, oh my gosh, it really is this mindset of how can

I give the real getting is giving and so find a way to know who you want to

work with, who are the brand deals out there that you want to identify with and

then go create value for them. - And the thing is, get inside the mind of a

company for a second. What makes them want to work with you? You're just one in

a million so what makes you stand out? If you take the initiative to step up and

say "Hey, let me do this for you." and you create some data points for them, I mean

if your video gets a hundred thousand views, you can say "Hey look, I did the

shoutout to you. I got a hundred thousand views. If we did a sponsorship video, you

could probably expect around a hundred thousand views." You start giving them

things to work with like that then their mind starts working and it starts

to make a little more sense. Another option I want to give you guys is to go

to this company and tell them that you want to do a sponsored video for free.

All you want them to do is give you some product or a ticket you know, if it's an

amusement park, go get a ticket to the amusement park and tell them that you're

gonna just vlog the whole experience or whatever your style is of making videos,

find a way to incorporate that product into what you're doing. In this way, the

company has no risk, you're essentially making a video for them showing them

what you can do which again separates you from all the millions of people out

there as someone who's actually producing results because at the end of

the day, you're working for free and I know a lot of us have a hard time

investing in something where there's no guaranteed return and we're putting

ourselves in the line but think about what you're doing, you're creating

something and that's going to make you stand out because 99% of the people out

there are not going to put that kind of initiative into it. - And I want to invite

you real quick to actually look at this from a different perspective as well.

Whether you're producing three videos a week, one video a week,

seven videos a week, each video is an opportunity to give a shout out to

somebody, every video is an opportunity to uplift somebody, every video is an

opportunity to give some praise to somebody and so if you're not going to

do a paid sponsorship deal then why not actually use a little bit of that video

time anyway for just creating a lot of massive

goodwill? Wow, yeah, Kris Krohn or Grant Thompson or you, they're totally known

for going out in the marketplace and it looks like they've got to be doing

sponsor deals with everyone cause they're always just uplifting everybody and

giving people credit and and really just seeing the best in people or look how

they promoted this person's product and I think that if you actually make the

conscious choice that I'm going to use my videos as an opportunity to double dip,

I'm going to get my message out to the world the way I was anyway

but I might as well give credit in an informal sponsorship because that may

be the door opener to more formal sponsorships years later. - If the company

knows that you made this video on YouTube and you had success then when

their marketing department says "Hey, let's do a YouTube campaign." Who do you

think they're naturally going to think of? Is there anybody on YouTube who's done

this with our brand before? Oh yeah, there was this one guy one time and so now

they're come back and this is where you start developing your long term

relationships where you can do repeat business so. That's how it can come back

to you in the end and there is no guarantee, it's kind of an effort of

goodwill and making a plan and just sticking to it but being okay if nothing

ever happens but at the same time not not all is lost. If you do a brand deal

with a company that they've approved, even though you're not being paid for it,

you can still put that on your portfolio and down the road when you put together

your little sheet of all the brands that you've worked with, definitely you can

put that brand name on there and now you go to a bigger brand you say look, we've

worked with this brand and this brand and this brand and we have a track

record, here's our data points and this is what you can expect and it makes it

very easy for you to sell your next brand deal to a paying customer.

- Grant, is there anything else that you think our viewers need to know today

about finding and selecting the right companies that you want to work with?

- Yeah for sure and I just want to say it might be a good option for you to have a

manager or an agent, these are the people who are connected in the industry that

are working with these brands all the time so they know what's circulating.

It's important for you to know that brands and companies have different

marketing programs, they usually have them planned out a year in advance so

the chance of you wanting to work with a brand and it

lining up is probably never going to happen but if there is that opportunity,

a manager or an agency is probably going to be in a position where they know

these things are going on and can make it happen or at least they'll have

hopefully some contacts in they're rolodex where they can make a few phone

call and put it on the radar. - We're going to have to make a video and do a follow-up

on agents and managers, what are they, who are they, how would you line one up, when

do you actually need one. So Grant, let's be sure to do that on one of our next

videos and friends, today, this is the information that we have got coming your

way on how you can really work with the companies that you want to. Grant, if

anyone wanted to take any final advice from today's video, what would you share?

- I would share whenever you do something about a brand, just make sure that you're

doing it in a very positive way you know, since the brand may not be endorsing

your video, if they were to watch it, are they going to feel like they were taking

advantage of or are they going to feel like you're actually bringing more customers

to them? If you're doing something very good for them, there's a good chance that

they're going to be very happy with what you're doing and you probably noticed in

my videos, I never censor out brand names, I never scrub anything like they do in

the TV industry, I actually am very open about all the brands I work with just

giving them that natural promotion but all my videos are designed to push a

very good attention toward the brand's as well so always stay positive, do

things that you think will make the brand happy and it will come back to you.

- Awesome answer. Thanks. Hey friends, thanks so much for joining
